Gorilla Grodd is a major antagonist in the DC Animated Universe.

Gorilla Grodd (DC Animated Universe)

He was a hyper-intelligent ape native to Gorilla City who sought to destroy his former home and take over the Earth, resulting in him becoming an enemy of the Flash and the Justice League. He was the founder and leader of the Secret Society (and subsequently the Legion of Doom), before being usurped and later killed by Lex Luthor.

He was voiced by the late Powers Boothe, who also played Roland Kanein Turok, Ethan Roark in Sin City, Benjamin Travis in Hitman: Absolution, Joshua Foss in Sudden Death, Gideon Malick in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Curly Bill Brocius in Tombstone, and Cash Bailey in Extreme Prejudice.
