Set in 1492, the film is loosely based on the historical voyage of Christopher Columbus from Spain to the new world. Pico, a little woodworm adventurer, accompanies him along with Tino, Lor, Carver, Tish, Sunset Shimmer, Sci-Twi, Spike the Dog, Ash Ketchum, Pikachu, Misty, Togepi, and Brock on his voyage to the end of the world in search of India. He also falls in love with the beautiful firefly princess Marilyn, who was later be kidnapped by the evil King of swarms, whom The Dazzlings, and Team Rocket. Pico sets off on a journey with Columbus and the others on his ship to save Pico's beloved one......and find the Treasure that Columbus vows to look for at the Golden Temple, and most of all...discover the new world and find evidence that the world is round.
