[Patrick's rock shows up, and cuts to Patrick sitting in his chair, watching TV. SpongeBob soon arrives]

SpongeBob: Patrick! Guess what came in the mail today!
Patrick: OH! WHAT! [SpongeBob takes out a video tape from his back]
SpongeBob: This... [Screen gets a closer cut of video tape]
Patrick: "Tino's Adventures of Teen Titans: The End (Full Movie)" Stick It In! [SpongeBob slides the video tape into Patrick's TV and presses a button, Everyone immediately goes to Patrick's couch]
SpongeBob and Patrick: GAGAGAGAGA!

(The countdown has started)

SpongeBob and Patrick: YEAH!

(Then the Movie begins)

Titans vs Doctor Light/Serena's nightmare[edit | edit source]

(At the oil rig, Doctor Light was draining the oil for his evil scheme)

Doctor Light: Once I'd drained the energy from 50,000 barrels of oil, I'll flood the city in never ending daylight. (Then the cable came off) Huh?

(The boomerangs appeared and Doctor Light dodges them, quickly as it was the Teen Titans)

Robin: You know, Doctor Light. For a guy obsessed with elimination, you're not very bright.

Raven: Next time you looking to steal something, you might want to pick a target that we can't see from our living room.

Doctor Light: Oh, well. Um?

(He blasts light toward the Titans but they dodged it)

Cyborg: That's a real pretty light show, but sound packs a bigger punch!

(Then Dr. Light blasts Cyborg into the ocean, Starfire blast powerballs at him, but he dodged them and blasts Starfire into the ground)

Robin: We need to draw his fire.
Beast Boy: You've got it. (To Doctor Light) Dude, nice pajamas! Do they glow in the dark

(he turns into a bat and scares Doctor Light, and Robin uses his staff to attack but Dr Light whips it in half and Robin attacks him again and Dr. Light lands on the ground)

Dr. Light: No one defeats Dr. Light! No one!
Raven: Remember me?
Dr. Light (obviously mortified): ...I'd like to go to jail now please...

(Cyborg get out of the water)

Cyborg: Alright, the but kicking over and it's almost midnight. Time for doughnuts and meet Tino and his friends there! Yeah!
Raven: I'll meet you back at tower.
Robin: But, Raven?
Starfire: You do not wish to enjoy the nuts of dough? It is like eating sweet tiny wheels.
Raven: I just wanna get home before tomorrow comes.
Beast Boy: What's so special about tomorrow?

(Meanwhile, back at the tower, Tino is in the main room, watching a movie with Sunset. Until...)

Tino Tonitini: Hmmm? Oh, Raven. What are you doing back so soon?
Raven: Oh, uh, nothing, Tino. I'm just tired. Had a long fight against Doctor Light.
Sunset Shimmer: But you've only been away for 10 minutes. You don't look tired to me. Are you hiding something?
Raven: I just want to go to sleep before tomorrow comes. (closes door on them)
Tino Tonitini: Tomorrow? (scratches his head in confusion) What's so important about tomorrow?
Sunset Shimmer: I don't know.
Ash Ketchum: Hey, Tino! Hey, Sunset! What's going on with Raven?
Tino Tonitini: She came back early after a battle with Doctor Light.
Sunset Shimmer: And then she quickly isolated herself in her room after making a big deal about tomorrow.
Ash Ketchum: Tomorrow? That's weird. And highly suspicious. What's so important to her about tomorrow?
Tino Tonitini: We don't know.
Sunset Shimmer: She just bolted in her room without telling us.
Ash Ketchum: Hmm....Do you think she could be hiding something that only happens tomorrow?
Tino Tonitini: Could be. We'll just have to find out eventually.
Sunset Shimmer: If we can get her to actually tell us what's going on.

(In the other room, Serena is struggling to sleep. She grunts and moans in agony. It appears as if she's having a bad dream. In her dream, she is scared and running in fright.)

Serena: Terra?! Terra?! (stops and looks around) Terra?! Terra, where are you?!
Terra: (voice offscreen) Serena...
Serena: Huh? (turns and sees Terra in her apprentice suit that Slade linked into her nervous system; she gasps) Terra!

(Serena rushes over to help her friend, but as she got closer, Terra lifts her head up and smiles evilly at her, making Serena gasp. Terra begins to cackle evilly until her voice changes into Slade's. She then morphs into Slade himself.)

Serena: Slade!
Slade: The Terra you knew is no more, little girl. She's gone forever. And so are you and the Titans.

(Slade uses Terra's earth-bending powers to create a crack underneath her. The ground opens and Serena nearly falls into it. She grabs onto the ledge then looks down and sees lava bubbling below her.)

Serena: You won't get away with this, you monster!
Slade: On the contrary, my dear, I already have. But don't you worry, you'll be joining your friends soon enough. Including Terra. (cackles evilly as he steps on her hand and makes her fall into the magma moat of the lava tube)
Serena: NOOO!!!!! (abruptly wakes up from her nightmare) AAAHHH!!! (breathes heavily and frantically looks around; she lays back and sighs in relief; she then hears a knock on her door) Oh. C-Come in!
Ash Ketchum: (comes in) Serena, are you okay? I couldn't help but hear you screaming. Is something wrong?
Serena: No, Ash. (sighs) I just had another bad dream.
Ash Ketchum: Oh, is it that same nightmare about Slade and Terra again?
Serena: Mm-hmm. (sighs) I'm sorry, Ash. It's just that it's been a year since Terra destroyed Slade and saved the city from the devastating volcanic eruption. The evil influence he placed on Terra traumatized me so much. I've never met anyone like him before in my entire life. That one-eyed man really was a monster. Even though he's dead now, his evil still haunts me to the core.
Ash Ketchum: Hey, there, there, there. (comforts her) It's alright. It'll be okay.
Tino Tonitini: Ash, what's going on?
Sunset Shimmer: We heard Serena screaming. What happened?
Ash Ketchum: Nothing's the matter. She just had a bad dream about Slade and Terra again.
Serena: Yeah. And I would've met my burning death in the caldera chamber with a magma splash.
Tino Tonitini and Sunset Shimmer: Oh.
Tino Tonitini: We're so sorry.
Sunset Shimmer: How's about we sleep with the two of you tonight?
Tino Tonitini: Yeah. It'll make her feel better.
Ash Ketchum: What do you say, Serena?
Serena: Sure, I'd like that.
Tino Tonitini and Sunset Shimmer: Alright!

(Tino and Sunset run in and bundle themselves up.)

Sunset Shimmer: Don't you worry, Serena. Slade's reign of terror is all a thing in the past.
Tino Tonitini: Yeah. He's no longer a threat anymore, thanks to you and Terra. But if he does ever return, we'll be ready for him. And we'll protect you from him at all costs. Now, let's get some sleep. Good night.
Ash Ketchum: Sleep tight.
Sunset Shimmer: Don't let the bed bugs bite. (turns off the light and goes to sleep)

(Everyone goes to sleep. Serena looks out the window, wondering if Slade will return alive or is truly dead. But her friends make a good point. As long as they're with her, they'll protect her from him. She then goes back to sleep. Meanwhile underground at the cave, a hand goes through the floor, and someone is risen from the dead. It was none other than Slade!)

Slade: (emerges from the ground) The day has begun.

(The opening credits role as the theme song of Teen Titans is playing)

"Surprise!!"/Raven's Fear[edit | edit source]

(At the watch Tower, Raven is in her room, as she watches the clock hits 6 pm)

Raven: (lays on her bed) 6 pm. Just six more hours then it'll be over. Six more.

(Then she heard a noise)

Raven: (gasps) Hello?

(She went to see who it is, but no one was there, and she walk down the hall, up the steps, and into the living room until everyone and the birthday decorations appeared out of nowhere)

Everyone: SURPRISE!!!!!!!!
Raven: (screams and hides)
Cyborg: Uhh....Raven?
Serena: Happy birthday?
Ash: Raven? Wh-Where'd she go?
Sunset Shimmer:: I don't know.
Shido: We knew this was a bad idea.
Starfire: It is merely us. Your friends with warm wishes for the day of your birth.
Tino: Yeah, and to celebrate it, too.
Robin: I told you a surprise party was a bad idea.

(Raven sneaks up behind Beast Boy, scaring him)

Raven: How did you know it was my birthday?
Beast Boy: Umm... Remember last night how you made that big deal about tomorrow? Well, we started wondering what tomorrow was, so we did some snooping.

(everyone glares at Beast Boy)

Big G: "We?" What do you mean "we?"
Beast Boy: Ok, I did some snooping and I sort of found a restricted file in the off-limits area of the Titans computer. It kinda had your birthday on it. (a flashback of Beast Boy snooping on the computer comes up)
Starfire: And we have been preparing your celebration ever since.
Beast Boy: We've put up tons of decorations.
Cyborg: I've baked my famous eight-layer cake with three kinds of frosting.
Starfire: And I have assembled for you a traditional Tamaranean Throknarr. The crown of meat!
Robin: I hope this is ok. We just....
Raven: No, it's not! Look, I really appreciate what you're trying to do here, but I'm not interested.
Tino Tonitini: What?
Ash Ketchum: I beg your pardon?
Carver Descartes: What?!
Sunset Shimmer: Wait, what?
Shaggy: What?!
Lincoln: What?!
Lincoln's Sisters: What?!
Littlefoot: What?!
Cera: WHAT?!
Petrie: Uh, why not?
Serena: Do you not want to celebrate?
Starfire: Yeah, there will be music, and the iced cream. And the strange game involving pins in the behind of a donkey.
Misty: They'll be cake and all kinds of goodies.
Shaggy: Tasty ones, too.
Cyborg: We got a piñata shaped like Beast Boy! You know you wanna smack it.
Raven: I said 'No!'
Beast Boy: Come on, Raven! I know you hate fun, but it's your birthday. It's special.
Ash Ketchum: Yeah, Rae. (goes up to Raven) This is supposed to be a special day that's meant for you. You can't just go and let it end without....
Raven: (angry) NO!!!!!!

(She destroys the decorations, the food, the games, and the presents. However, in doing so, she inadvertently injures Ash.)

Ash: (gets hit in the head by Raven's powers, giving him a deep cut above his right eye) OW!!! (falls backwards)

(Raven gasps in horrifying shock)

Ash: Ow. (groans as he bleeds)
Raven: (quietly) What have I done?!

(Tino, Shaggy, and Scooby rush over to Ash's side and help him up)

Pikachu: (runs up to him) Pika, Pi!
Tino: You alright, Ash?
Serena: Are you okay?
Ash: Yeah. Yeah. I'm-I'm fine. (everyone looks at Raven in horror) Raven....

(Raven, horrified at what she did to her friend while destroying the party, turns and leaves. With the party destroyed, everyone is now shocked and confused at what Raven did.)

Lincoln: I told you a surprise party was a bad idea. (gets slapped by Lola) Ow!
Lola Loud: Give it a rest, Lincoln.
Luna Loud: Sheesh! What was that all about?!
Lori Loud: Yeah, what's her deal?! She like totally destroyed her own party we've worked so hard to prepare for!
Lynn Loud: (points to Ash) And she'd just literally hurt our friend here!
Raye: Yeah, what's gotten into her?
Lola Loud: I'm gonna go and give her a piece of my mind for hurting Ash like that! (her other sisters agree until Leni stepped up to stop them)
Leni Loud: Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold it, you guys! Stop! HOLD IT!!!! (they all stop) I know we're all a bit shocked at what Raven just did, but don't you think you're overreacting a toads bit here? I mean you saw the look in her face when she realized she struck Ash with her powers. It's not like it was intentional or something.
Brock: Yeah, come on, guys. She didn't literally mean to hurt him. It was just an accident. So, there's no need to fight with her for now.

(The Loud sisters look at each other and sigh sadly.)

Lola Loud: I guess you're right. We're sorry.
Luan Loud: It's just that we're so mad at the fact that she doesn't want to celebrate her special day with us and that we don't know the reason behind her dismissal or whatever. We don't quite get it.
Carver Descartes: Well, girls, you're not alone. We all don't get it either. I've never seen her that mad before. All because we tried to throw her a nice party on her birthday.
Lincoln: So, with the festivities completely ruined, what are we going to do now?
Cera: And what do you think we should do about Raven?
Robin: I'm gonna go talk to her and see if I could sort things out with her. You guys go and...(sighs) clean up this mess and tend Ash's injuries while you're at it. I'll be right back. (goes out to talk to Raven) Raven, what's wrong?
Raven: (trying to hide her guilt) I just don't like parties.
Robin: It's more than that. I can tell. We have a bond, remember? You've been inside my mind. Let me inside yours.
Raven: Robin, you know me better than anyone. You should know there are places in my mind where you can't go. Where no one should ever go.
Robin: I'm willing to try if you...
Raven: You can't.
Robin: Tell me what's going on.
Raven: Just trust me. If you knew anything about the day of my birth, you know there's nothing to celebrate. (walks to her room)

(Meanwhile, Serena is trying to tend Ash's wound from Raven's outburst.)

Serena: (sighs) It's still bleeding. Just keep holding it up there. We'll see if we can take you to the urgent care tomorrow morning.
Ash: Thanks, Serena. (sighs sadly) I just don't understand it, Tino. Why does Raven not want to celebrate her birthday? I mean what does she have against the idea of celebrating it?

(Outside their room, Raven overhears their conversation, but didn't want to but in.)

Ash: (v.o.) We weren't trying to offend her in any way. We just wanted to do something nice to her for a change. I really don't get it. We-We thought giving her a party on her very special day would make her happy. It just doesn't make any sense at all.
Tino: I know, Ash. I don't get it either.
Sunset Shimmer: Yeah, me neither.
Serena: Me neither.
Tino: She is a bit complicated when it comes to fun things like this. But after what happened tonight, it isn't like her to go against celebrating something that's special in everyone's lives.
Ash: I've never seen her behave like that before. I mean what was so bad about throwing her a birthday party? She didn't have to lash out at us and strike me in the face with her powers.
Serena: Now, Ash, it was an accident. It wasn't like she did that to you on purpose.
Tino: Yeah, and you know she knows better than to hurt you and her friends with her powers. You know she means well. And I'm sure there is a logical explanation to why she won't celebrate her birthday. Whatever it is, it better be a good reason. If we can get her to tell us.
Ash: I don't know, Tino. From the way she reacted, she not only looked angry, but she also looked pretty scared.
Sunset Shimmer: How do you mean?
Ash: When she said that the party wasn't okay with her, she responded in an angry yet fearful tone. I took notice of it right before she lashed out and destroyed the party.
Serena: So, are you saying that Raven's afraid of something that might have happened on the day of her birth?
Ash: Probably. Or it could be something else. It could be something dark, mysterious, and probably evil. But whatever it was, it might have been very unpleasant to her.
Tino: Well, let's not worry about it right now. We'll figure it out once she cools down tomorrow.
Serena: Yeah, Ash, we'll sort things out with her, and everything will be alright in the morning.
Sunset Shimmer: And besides, what else can possibly happen?

(As Tino, Ash, Sunset, and Serena go to sleep, Raven thinks back at the moment she lashed out at her friends, destroyed the party and hurt Ash by accident.)

Beast Boy: (flashback) Come on, Raven! I know you hate fun, but it's your birthday. It's special.
Ash Ketchum: (flashback) Yeah, Rae. (goes up to Raven) This is supposed to be a special day that's meant for you. You can't just go and let it end without....
Raven: (angry in flashback) NO!!!!!! (destroys the decorations, the food, the games, and the presents with her powers, but hurts Ash by accident in the process)
Ash: (flashback; gets hit in the head by Raven's powers, giving him a deep cut above his right eye) OW!!! (falls backwards)
Raven: (gasps in horrifying shock during the flashback)
Ash: (flashback) Ow. (groans as he bleeds)
Raven: (flashback; quietly) What have I done?!

(Tino, Shaggy, and Scooby rush over to Ash's side and help him up in the flashback.)

Pikachu: (runs up to him; flashback) Pika, Pi!
Tino: (flashback) You alright, Ash?
Serena: (flashbacK) Are you okay?
Ash: (flashback) Yeah. Yeah. I'm-I'm fine. (everyone looks at Raven in horror) Raven....

(Back in reality, Raven sighs sadly and heads off to her room without saying a word. She now fully regrets hurting one of her friends in the midst of her temper and destroying the party. And because of that, she now fears that Ash will never forgive her nor speak to her again. Three hours later, Raven is in her room and is looking impatiently at her alarm clock. It is now 9 p.m.)

Raven: Can't this thing go any faster!?! Ugh! I just want this day to be over! Relax. Only a few hours to go. It might not even happen. Focus. Meditate. It'll be midnight before you know it. Azarath Metrion Zinthos. Azarath Metrion Zinthos. Azarath...

(Suddenly, Raven begins to cough and grabs her neck. Her room goes up in flames and she hears a big booming voice)

Trigon: (voice) What you have concealed you shall become. You have no other choice. Your destiny will be fulfilled. (Raven's alarm clock goes up in flames and the fire forms a huge letter S in front of Raven's door) The portal must be opened!

Raven: (Shocked at what she is hearing, Raven screams in horror as the flames in her room disappears) NO!!!!!!!

(She becomes exhausted with fear but calms down a bit. Robin and Ash knocks on her bedroom door, and she answers)

Ash: What's going on?
Robin: We heard you scream. (before Raven can tell the reason why she screamed the alarm goes off)
Raven: Trouble.

Titans vs Slade/Raven stops time[edit | edit source]

(At a Factory)

Cyborg: So, who's the bad guy is yours, Gizmo, Mad Mod, Killer Moth?
Starfire: The report simply said there was an intruder?
Beast Boy: Well, whoever it is, we're gonna totally kick their-
Robin: (Shocked) No.

(Everyone gasps)

Slade: It's been a long time, hasn't it, Titans? A month? A year? A millennium? Far too long for my tastes, anyway. I was beginning to think I'd never see your smiling faces again.
Lincoln: Oh no! It's Slade!
Ash: What?! It can't be!
Serena: (horrified) Slade?!
Cyborg: You... How did you survive?
Beast Boy: Terra took you down. Way down!
Robin: Slade! I don't know where you've been, but you shouldn't have come back! I'm still ready!
Slade: That's nice, Robin, but we didn't come back for you.
Misty: Then who did you come back for?
Doraemon: And what do you mean "we"?
Slade: I've got old friends I want you to meet.
Lori: Friends?! What friends?!
Littlefoot: Give it up! It's many of us, and only one of you. It's over!
???: Or had it?!

(Then the Dazzlings comes in first)

(Tino and his friends Gasp)

Tino: NO! Not you guys again!
Ash: It's those Dazzlings again!
Misty: I shouldn't know you behind this trouble!
Adagio Dazzle: That's right. And we're here to get revenge on you guys and Tino will be ours.
Sonata Dusk: Yeah, that too.
Cera: Those girls are getting in my nerves.
Tino: Mine too.
Lincoln: At least, that's all the villains
???: That's what you think, children!

(Then Dr. Facilier and Megan come next)

Dr. Facilier: Well, look some heroes don't remember their arch enemies.
Megan: Indeed, my friend, indeed.
Sunset Shimmer: It's Megan!
Shaggy: Zoinks! Attila and Hun!
Littlefoot: And Shadow man!
Dr. Facilier: (Chuckles) That's right, it's me, Dr. Facilier.
Megan: And we're here to get revenge on you guys.
Brock: Not if we have something to say about it!
???: We wouldn't say that.
Ash: I knew that voice.

(The Crime Empire comes in)

Negaduck: Greetings, kids!
Luna: The Fearsome Five?!
Quackerjack: That's us.
Ash: Why are you here?!
Megavolt: Revenge! That's why.
Bushroot: And then, we can settle to score between us and you.
Liquidator: And cast you off into oblivion!
Negaduck: That's right, Liquidator. And once we're done with you twerps, we're gonna RULE THE WORLD!!!

(Then Grizzle comes in also)

Shaggy: Zoinks! And Attila and Hun!
Kurumi: What about me?
Ash: Kurumi!
Attila: Hello!
???: What about me?!

(Then The Duke comes next)

Lincoln: The Duke!
The Grand Duke of Owls: Well I wonder- uh-uh, eavesdropping uh iu..
Hun: We are going to annihilate you all, now isn't that right?
Attila: That's right. And all for good.
Jack: Why are you all here?!
The Grand Duke of Owls: Oh, dear. I had to spoil the surprise, oh well. Well, you see, after what you did, we come up with a plan to get rid of you.
Sci-Twi: Is this all of you, then? We'll take you down!
Jessie: Don't forget about us.
Ash: Team Rocket!!
Lincoln: What you all doing here?!
Adagio Dazzle: To send a message to Raven, and to make Tino join the Dazzlings and he'll belong to us, forever.
Tino: Yeah, uh, or how about... No!
Adagio Dazzle: Say no if you want. We're not going to give up on you.
Scav: So why all of you up to this time?
Adagio Dazzle: Why? Because you want to know? Oh, we know all about you, Sunset Shimmer. You've got quite the reputation at Canterlot High.
Sunset Shimmer: I've changed! I'm in a much better place now!
Aria Blaze: Waiting in the wings while your friends have all the fun?
Adagio Dazzle: Oh, yes, you girls are so tight. And yet... they didn't ask you to be in the band.
Aria Blaze: Probably afraid no one would want to see them play if she was in the group.
Sonata Dusk: Too bad! So sad!
Adagio Dazzle: If it's any consolation, no one is going to remember you at all by the time we're done.

(Then Slade, throws fire at them and it head toward Raven but she and dodges it and go to the Titans)

Slade: Ever have one of those days when you just feel happy to be alive? (fires at the Titans)
Beast Boy: Dude!
Cyborg: Yeah, since when can Slade do that?

(Slade is preparing to attack again)

Robin: Not sure. But he won't be doing it for long. Titans, go!

(They started fighting him but he was too strong for them, then Cyborg picks up an awel and swings it at Slade, but he melts throw it)

Cyborg: Whoa!
Slade: "Whoa?" That's it? No clever comment? I was looking forward to that.

(Then he power flicks Cyborg into Raven)

Ash: Pikachu! Thunderbolt!

(But Slade throws flame at Pikachu. And Robin goes after Slade, into the gear and then he found him and fights and Slade hits Robin's staff in half)

Slade: Take my word for it, Robin. You shouldn't play with fire.
Lynn: And what's supposed to mean?!

(He knocks Robin and Lynn to the ground)

Slade: It really has been nice seeing all you again.

(Then he looks at Raven)

Raven: I just want this day to end!
Slade: We think we both know this is far from over. Hello birthday girl, ready for your present?
Serena: (gasps and growls angrily before running over to protect Raven from Slade) Oh, no you don't, Slade! (throws a Poké Ball and lets out Pancham) There's no way we're not letting you do any harm to Raven! Not like how you did harm to my dear friend, Terra! And I still hadn't forgiven you for what you've done to her!
Slade: (chuckles) That's pretty amusing and quite noble of you, little girl. Though I do recall from the incident with Terra, it was in fact your interference that caused her to turn against me and sent me falling to my demise. And it was indeed a mistake I'm not willing to make again. So, get out of my way, or nobody gets hurt.
Serena: Over my dead body, Slade! (Slade gets angry and fires his flames at Serena) Pancham, use Dark Pulse!

Slade: It was fun playing with you, girl. But I have some unfinished business to take care of. And this time, you will not interfere. Now, where were we? (turns to Raven) Oh, yes. (ignites his fists) The message.

(Then Raven blasts Slade to in wall, but he survives)

Slade: I have a message for you.

(He grabs Raven then drops her and then mark appeared on wrist, as Slade produces electricity)

Slade: It has begun.

(Then, he causes the place to collapse, as the heroes retreat to safety, but Pikachu slides down.)

Ash Ketchum: Pikachu!

(Ash runs down and retrieves Pikachu but gets caught up with Robin and Tino. They get trapped and then a giant gear is about to crush them)

Raven: (scared) STOP!!!

(Then she was able to stop time)

Raven: (scared, she looks around and and wonders how she stopped time) How did I...
Slade: You might be able to stop time, birthday girl, but you can't stop me. You can't stop any of it, really. I have to say, Raven, when I found out the truth, I was very impressed. All this time I had no idea, the power lurking inside you, the glorious destiny that awaits. It's always the quiet ones, isn't it? But honestly, did you think you could just blow out the candles and wish it all away? Today is the day it begins. You've known this all your life, it is going to happen and no matter what you wish, no matter where you go, no matter how you squirm, there is nothing you can do to stop it.

(Then Raven flies to Robin, Ash, and Tino and brings them out of the time freeze)

Robin: Raven?
Pikachu: Pika? (looks around)
Ash Ketchum: W-What just happened?
Tino: Everything's frozen. B-B-But how?

(They look at Slade and the villains, as Raven disappears along with Robin, Ash and Tino and brings them to a safer place in the city)

The Truth/Slade shows Raven the future/Message Delivered[edit | edit source]

Robin: What is going on? Why is Slade back? Where did he get those powers? Why are the villains with him? How did you stop time?

(They look around at the city and its people frozen in time)

Raven: I... I'm not sure. I never wanted this day to come. But when it did, I just wanted it to stop. I guess I got my wish.
Tino: What is happening?
Raven: It's my birthday.
Ash: Your birthday?!
Tino: Then, let's get out of here before-!

(Then, Slade and the villains appeared out of nowhere)

Hun: You're not going anywhere but with us.
Robin: Raven, run!
Ash: Get out of here!

(She runs, and then Robin fights Slade, but he is unbeaten, and he fires at Robin)

(Raven hears Robin cry, and goes to see what's going on, but then, Slade comes out of the fire)

Slade: I have a message for you. And I will deliver it, whether you like it or not.

(Raven tries to keep Slade from saying the message but, he's unstoppable)

Slade: Skies will burn. Flesh will become stone. The sun will set on your world, never to rise again!

(Slade touches her again and more marks show up on her arms)

Slade: Time won't wait forever. You can't run away from who you are.
Raven: I can try. (smashes 2 rocks between Slade) (searches through the wreckage) Robin. Ash. Tino.

(She finds them and takes them to a church to hide)

Raven: I should have never drag you into this. Any of you but you're in. You need to know. I need to tell you. When I was born, they looked into my future. On this day, the anniversary of my birth, something is supposed to happen. Something very bad. That's why I didn't want to celebrate. But just because you don't have a party doesn't mean it's not your birthday.
Ash: So, you're saying on the day of your birth that something terrible is going to happen in the future?
Raven: Unfortunately, yes.
Tino: But what about the symbol on his forehead?
Robin: Yeah, w-what does it mean?

(Slade blasted through the door and knocked out Robin, Ash, and Tino with fire)

Slade: It's just you and me now, kid.

(Raven escapes through the back)

Slade: You're making this more difficult than it needs to be. (Slade makes a fire wall) The message must be delivered.

(Raven tries to escape but Slade keeps following her)

Raven: Azarath Metrion Zinthos! (Smashes him between two buildings)

(But Slade breaks free and grabs her to the top of a tower)

Slade: What you have concealed, you will become. (Tears off her cloak and more marks appeared off her back) You have no other choice.
Raven: No!
Slade: (Grabs her hands) The message will be delivered. Your destiny shall be fulfilled.

(Suddenly more marks appeared on her legs, chest, and hands, Grows longer hair)

(Raven sees a terrible future, a desolate wasteland, with ruined cities, water of lava, Titans Tower is destroyed, and all her friends are turned to stone)

Raven: No!
Slade: Yes. Look at it. Drink it in. Behold to world you are destined to create.
Raven: (Sees a shadow of Trigon, villains ruling and Tino becoming evil) No! I won't do it! This is just a vision! This can't be real!
Slade: This is the future. Your future. It began the day you were born, and nothing can stop it. This will come to pass. I will make sure of it. You're going to destroy the world, Raven. It's written all over your face.
Raven: (Devastated scream) NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (As she screams time continues to move forward and she loses consciousness)
Slade: (lets go of Raven, causing her to fall off the tower) We'll be in touch. Oh, and Happy Birthday.

(As she falls, Robin comes in and saves her. He lands on a nearby rooftop where he meets up with Ash and Tino.)

Ash: Raven!
Pikachu: Pika!
Tino: Is she okay?
Robin: She's fine.
Ash: (sees the tattered clothes that Slade destroyed and feels sympathetic for her) That black-hearted creature! What has he done to her?
Tino: Beats me. What a shame.

(Raven regains consciousness, much to everyone's relief)

Pikachu: (relieved) Pika...
Tino: Oh, thank goodness. You're alright.
Ash: You've had us worried, Rae.
Raven: (raises her hand and heals Ash's wound on his head) I'm so sorry, Ash.
Ash: (smiles warmly) Don't worry about it. I knew you didn't mean to hurt me like that.
Tino: Yeah. Let's just let bygones be bygones. Okay?
Raven: Okay.
Robin: Let's go home.

Raven's Birthday II[edit | edit source]

(Later that night, Raven finished cutting all her extensions. Then suddenly she hears a strange noise. As she comes out of her room, she sees a trail of arrows pointing right to the living room where Tino, Ash, Sunset, their friends, and the other Titans threw another surprise party.)

Beast Boy: Um… (Brief big grin.) …surprise?
Cyborg: Look. We know you didn't want a party, but after…today...
Starfire: …we hope that you might reconsider.
Beast Boy: (sliding to Raven) You may not like your birthday, but we're all glad you were born.
Serena: And besides, we just want to remind you that you're still our friend.
Daphne Blake: And that we still like you.
Brock: Your birthday may not be something special to you, but you're something special to us. And that is you being our friend.
Lincoln: So, what do you say? You up for it?

(Brief silence)

Raven: We're going to need ice cream.
Lynn: Alright!
Beast Boy: Coming right up!
Cyborg: I'll cut the cake! (He heads for the tables.)
Starfire: And I shall fetch the throknar! (She flies to the side door; Raven approaches Robin.)
Shaggy: Like, I would like to have cake myself.
Scooby-Doo: Me too!
Carver Descartes: Me too!
Serena: Save some for me too!
Tino: You sure you're, okay?
Raven: I will be.
Robin: What you told us about your destiny—that something bad was supposed to happen—I guess I did. We're sorry we couldn't stop it.
Raven: No one could.
Ash: We're sorry this happened to you, Raven. But whatever Slade did to you, we'll make sure he'll regret for making you suffer.
Robin: Yes, we will find Slade. We'll figure out how he did what he did, why is he working with the villains and why he was after you. But right now, you're safe. You're here with friends. It's over.
Tino: Yeah. When Slade comes after you again, we'll be there to protect you at any costs. Now, come on. Let's party!
Ash: All right! Hey, Cyborg, save a piece of that cake for the four of us here! Please?
Raven: (sees the mark on her hands) No. This was just the beginning.

(Elsewhere below the surface)

Slade: The first task is complete, Master. The message has been sent. The inscriptions are in place. She knows what she must do. The prophecy will be fulfilled
Trigon (Voice): And the world of mortals shall soon be ended.

The Titans Research on the Mark[edit | edit source]

Slade: (in video footage) It has begun.
Robin: Freeze! (Beast Boy pauses the video) Rewind.
Beast Boy: Dude, we've been looking at this thing all day. I'm telling you there's nothing else there.
Robin: There has to be. Play it again.
Beast Boy: (sighs) Slade kicks butt, take 304.
Lincoln Loud: (sleepy) Are you guys still watching that video?
Ash Ketchum: It's the middle of the night.
Serena: You both should get some sleep.

Robin: Cyborg, anything?
Cyborg: I cross-matched that symbol with every database on the planet.
Robin: And?
Cyborg: Nothing. Whatever it is, it's not from Earth.
Ash Ketchum: Huh? (looks at the paper with the symbol Slade had on his forehead) This symbol is not of this world?
Serena: That's creepy.
Robin: New powers? Cryptic threats? Working with other villains? Targeting Raven? Slade's playing a whole new game now. And this symbol is the key. We will find out what it means.

-Whatever that symbol means, it can't be good.

(Another future vision appears to Raven again)

Slade: Tick-tock, Raven. Time is running out.
Raven: I'm not afraid of you!
Slade: Silly girl. (moving closer to her) I'm not the one to be afraid of. You know that.

(Fireballs comes falling from the sky)

Voice of Trigon: What you have concealed, you shall become!
Raven: It's a lie! I won't let this happen. I'll find a way.

(Slade walks through the fire.)

Slade: Your optimism is really adorable, but you're forgetting one thing, Raven. This is what you were born to do. You were sent here to destroy the Earth.
Voice of Trigon: Your destiny will be fulfilled. (His four eyes open on the ground.) The portal must be opened!

(Raven wakes up from meditation)

Raven: (reads through her books to find a way to stop the prophecy from happening) It's my destiny. There has to be a way to change it. I know there is! (flips pages with her powers) I just need a little help finding it. (stops at a page and sees the Mark of Skath on it; she gasps) No! This has to be wrong.

Ash: (knocks on the door) Any luck finding the symbol, Raven?

Raven: (hides her book under her bed and puts her hood up) No. It's not in any of my books. (opens her door halfway)

Robin: Are you okay, Raven? You look a little, well, paler.

Raven: It's nothing. I just haven't been able to meditate lately. That's all.

Ash: Look, Rae. We know Slade scared you on the night of your birthday, but we'll figure out why he was after you.

Raven: Slade doesn't concern me.

(The alarm and red flashers choose this particular moment to go off.)

Starfire: (over the intercom) Friends! Come quickly!

(Ash and Robin run ahead. Raven stays behinds as she feels a bit worried about her friends.)

Ash: (off-screen) Raven, come on!

(Raven reluctantly comes out and follows)

Slade Strikes Back/The Mark of Scath[edit | edit source]

The Heroes find an abandoned library/The Prophecy[edit | edit source]

Raven Goes to Azarath/Tino and Ash spy on Raven[edit | edit source]

Spirits: The gem was born of evil's fire. (Tino and the group hover in fear) The gem shall be his portal.
Ash Ketchum: (confused) The gem?
Spirits: He comes to claim.

(Close-up of Raven's feet; tilt up to her face as the marks appear all over her clothing and skin.)

Spirits: (from o.c.) He comes to sire (She gasps and covers herself; cut to the others.) The end of all things mortal.
Ash Ketchum: Tino, what gem are they talking about?
Tino Tonitini: I don't know. But I'm getting a very unpleasant feeling about this.
Ash Ketchum: Yeah, me too.
Robin: Raven?

(She wraps her cloak even tighter and hustles back up the stairs, stopping to rest only when the underground chamber is well out of sight. Cut to her feet and tilt up to her face; the cloak has fallen open to show those scarlet inscriptions again, and soon she is on the move, but now, Robin is coming up fast.)

Robin: Raven!

(She stops short, staring up toward the library with sudden mute fear, and he closes the rest of the gap as the camera cuts to her foot level.)

Robin: Are you okay? (Tilt up; she turns to him.)
Raven: This place...it's...I shouldn't be here. It's all wrong.
Robin: What's going on, Raven? What aren't you telling me? (He advances slowly; she backs up.)
Raven: I can't explain. I just need to leave. (transforms to her human "soul self") I can't go back in there. (She disappears through the ceiling.)
Robin: Wait! (growls in frustration and pulls out his communicator) Calling Ash. Do you read me?
Ash Ketchum: (pulls out his communicator) Yes, Robin, I'm here. What is it?
Robin: Raven frantically went back upstairs and left in a hurry without telling me what's going on. She might be heading back to the tower for some odd reason. I'm worried that she might be in grave danger. (sighs) I'm going to need you to do me a big favor, Ash. Can you and Tino go see what's wrong her while me and the rest of the team continue investigating the underground chamber?
Ash Ketchum: Me? Spy on her? Oh, okay. (pauses as he realizes what he's talking about) SPY ON HER?! Oh no, no, no, Robin! You can't be serious with this! I can't just go waltzing in her room and eavesdrop on her. Raven trusts me and Tino. We don't want to betray her.
Robin: Ash, it'll be alright. Even if she finds out about this, we will talk everything through with her and maybe she'll understand we have good intentions. But you have to keep an eye on her and make sure nothing bad happens to her. In case if she's going somewhere, I'll give you a tracking device so you can track her and watch her every move on your communicator. Will you please do that for me? For Raven's sake?
Ash Ketchum: (sighs) Okay, Robin. I'll do my best.
Robin: I know you will. Just make sure she doesn't see you nor Tino once you're in the tower. And even if she does, do not tell her that I've sent you to spy on her. You understand?
Ash Ketchum: Uh-huh.
Robin: Good.
Ash Ketchum: And Robin, will you figure out what those spooky creatures mean with this "gem"? And what they're talking about? I'm getting a very unpleasant feeling about it and whatever it is, there's something evil about it.
Robin: Sure. We'll see what we can find. But until then, I'll see you momentarily. Robin out. (cuts off)
Ash Ketchum: (groans as he puts his communicator away) Why do I get myself into these situations? (sighs) Hey, Tino! Oh, Tino!
Tino Tonitini: Yes, Ash?
Ash Ketchum: You're coming with me. Robin gave us an important assignment. And it has something to do with Raven.

(Back at the tower, Tino and Ash are in the hallway near Raven's quarters.)

Tino Tonitini: Spy on her?! He wants us to go spy on her?! Oh, no, no, no! He can't be serious.
Ash Ketchum: I'm afraid, he is serious, Tino. It's the only way to know what's going on with her. Look, Robin's worried about her and I'm worried about her as well. And so far, lately, she's been acting up strangely. We've got to find out why.
Tino Tonitini: You know, she's not going to be happy about this when she finds out we've been eavesdropping on her.
Ash Ketchum: She's not going to find out as long as we're quiet. And it's bad enough if she finds out as long as we make sure nothing bad happens to her. For all we know, she could be in grave danger. So, we have to keep an eye on her and make sure she is safe.
Tino Tonitini: And how do you expect we do that without her noticing we're here?
Ash Ketchum: We'll do it by placing this tracking device onto her garment. Robin gave this to me before we left the library. Once we place this on her, we can track her and watch her every move on my communicator so we can see what she's doing.
Tino Tonitini: I see. (hears something; gasps) Someone's coming.
Ash Ketchum: It might be Raven. And she's coming this way. Quick! Hide back here!

(They quickly hide behind a nearby wall before Raven could see them. She makes her way to the doors of her room. As she enters, Ash quickly activates and throws the tracking device onto her garment before the doors close behind her.)

Ash Ketchum: (quietly) Got it!
Tino Tonitini: Great! So, what do we do now?
Ash Ketchum: Now we just need to figure out what she's doing and keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't endanger herself. (takes out his communicator) But first, I have to get the device up and running on my communicator. (turns on the tracking device and warms it up) Alright, it's warming up. Here we go. (the device is fully warmed up and ready) Okay! The device is all set.
Tino Tonitini: (sees Raven moving her books around) And there's Raven. What's she doing? Spring-cleaning or something?
Ash Ketchum: I'm not sure. Let's see.
Raven: You might be able to stop me from meditating. (summons two bottles containing sand and draws a circle around her on the floor) But you can't stop me from leaving!
Tino Tonitini: Leaving? Is she going somewhere? And who is she talking to?
Ash Ketchum: I wish I knew.

(The candles around her circle lit up and she sits cross-legged on the floor)

Tino Tonitini: What's she doing now?
Ash Ketchum: It looks like she's performing some sort of ritual or something. Let's watch.
Raven: Azarath Metrion Zinthos...Carazon Rakashas Endere... (the ring creates a swirling vortex on the ceiling) Vaserix Endrien Azarath...Azarath, Azarath! (in an instant, she vanishes through the vortex)
Tino Tonitini: Whoa! Did you see that?! What did she just do?!
Ash Ketchum: I think she just created some sort of swirling vortex that transports her to another world or something. She could be attempting to go to her home world, Azarath.
Tino Tonitini: Azarath? Why?
Ash Ketchum: Well, let's find out. Now, if I can just check to see if the tracking device didn't get damaged. Let's see now... (fiddles with the communicator and sees Raven flying through the vortex) Ah-ha! Here we go! Oh, and there she is. Yep, she's going to Azarath alright. Now, let's see what happens once she gets there.
Tino Tonitini: I hope she'll have a safe journey there.
Ash Ketchum: I hope so.

(Meanwhile, Raven is flying through the vortex, where she is nearly attacked by bat-like, screeching apparitions.)

Tino Tonitini: Whoa! They're everywhere! Just like back at the corridor!
Ash Ketchum: Yeah. (gasps as he sees a ball of fire going up to her) Oh, no! Raven, watch out!
Tino Tonitini: Look out below you!

(Raven looks down and sees the incoming ball of fire heading towards her. The spirits disappear into the lurid radiance, which begins to expand so fast that she has to put it in overdrive. The acceleration is barely enough to keep her ahead, though, and flames from the pit lick at her heels; finally she gasps in shock and is swallowed up in the inferno.)

Ash and Tino: RAVEN!!!

(Meanwhile, Ash and Tino are deeply concerned for Raven as they are watching her travel to Azarath through a dangerous vortex. She is still engulfed in a deadly fireball and feared for the worst of what was to happen to her if she doesn't get out.)

Ash Ketchum: Come on, Raven. Come on.
Tino Tonitini: Please, be alright, Rae.

(Raven uses all of her powers to slice through the fireball and much to Ash and Tino's relief, she appears to be unharmed.)

Ash and Tino: Whew!
Tino Tonitini: Oh, thank goodness! For a minute there, we'd thought she was a goner for sure.
Ash Ketchum: Hold it, Tino! She may be safe, but she's not out of the woods just yet. Something's appearing to be blocking her from entering Azarath.
Tino Tonitini: Blocking her? What do you mean by that?
Ash Ketchum: Look.

(Ash shows Tino that Raven is facing a large circular pattern traced in pink light-arcs and triangles at the center, with runes inscribed around the perimeter. Inner and outer portions rotate slowly in opposite directions.)

Tino Tonitini: Whoa! What is that thing?!
Ash Ketchum: I don't know. It could be some sort of gateway with strange astronomical patterns. And it appears that it's not allowing her to enter Azarath.
Tino Tonitini: What? Why?
Ash Ketchum: I really don't know.

(Raven backs up a bit as if working up a head of steam, then charges headlong toward this display.)

Raven: (grunts as she strains to enter Azarath) LET ME IN!!! (ignites the gem on her forehead)

(Her gem glowed so bright that it blinded both Ash and Tino's eyes. Both of them scream in pain and cover their eyes, which causes Ash to drop his communicator.)

Tino Tonitini: (grunts in pain) My eyes! (rubs his eyes) Ash, what's happened?!
Ash Ketchum: (grunts as he rubs his eyes) I don't know, Tino. (picks up his communicator) I just hope she didn't damage the tracking device. Wow! That was bright.
Tino Tonitini: I know! It knocked my socks off.
Ash Ketchum: Gosh, I've never seen Raven that desperate before. And I had no idea traveling to Azarath could be quite dangerous.
Tino Tonitini: Neither have I. And normally she's the quiet one. I hope she made it inside.
Ash Ketchum: Let's hope so.

(Meanwhile, back at the tower, Ash is fiddling with his communicator to see if the tracking device on Raven's garment is still working.)

Ash Ketchum: Come on. Come on. Work for me. Come on, baby. (it turns on) There we go! It's still intact. And from the looks of it, Raven has safely made it to Azarath.
Tino Tonitini: Good. Now, we can figure out what she'll be doing there.
Ash Ketchum: Let's wait and see.
Raven: (looks up and sees her home world, Azarath) Azarath. (gets to her feet) My last hope.

Titans and the Heroes vs Slade and the Villains/Raven speaks with her mother, Arella[edit | edit source]

(Meanwhile, in Azarath, Raven is venturing through the deserted streets.)

Raven: Hello?

(Back at the tower, Ash and Tino are still spying on Raven through the tracking device via communicator.)

Tino Tonitini: She's been wandering in the streets for like 45 minutes. And the whole place appears to be deserted. Where is everybody?
Ash Ketchum: I don't know. To think, she would expect a warm welcome upon her return. She assumed that everyone she knew there missed her. But from what I see here, it looked like everyone just packed up and left. This is so weird.

(Raven continues to venture through the streets. Until she finally stops.)

Raven: Not like I expected a parade, but...

(A dove suddenly flies by, causing both Ash and Tino to gasp in surprise.)

Tino Tonitini: Where'd that dove come from?
Ash Ketchum: Shh! Look.

(Raven follows the dove and after a few turns through the deserted streets, she stops and sees where the dove is going. It flies up to a tower where a hooded woman is waiting. The woman appears to be almost identical to Raven, which deeply surprises Tino and Ash.)

Tino Tonitini: Well, would you look at that, Ash! That woman on the balcony looks just like Raven.
Ash Ketchum: She sure does. And you know what? I think she might be her mother.
Tino Tonitini: Her mother? I think you're right, Ash. But she should be happy that Raven's back home. Why does she look so sad upon seeing her return?
Ash Ketchum: I don't know. Let's be quiet and listen.

(Raven sees her mother on the balcony and flies up to her.)

Raven: Arella! (her mother is about to go inside) No, wait! I've come back. Mother, please help me.
Arella: You always had a home here my child, but help we could not give.
Raven: (Pulls out her book) The prophecy. It's happening. You have to tell me how to stop it.
Tino Tonitini: Prophecy? What prophecy is she talking about?
Ash Ketchum: Shh! Just listen!
Arella: Nothing could be done. The promise of your birth was absolute.
Raven: I don't believe you! There has to be a way! I don't want to be this. I don't want to help him. Mother, I'm afraid.

(Tino and Ash look at each other in worry and feel sympathetic for Raven.)

Arella: You forever had the love of your people Raven. Even knowing what you would become and what that would bring. It is too late for Earth, just as it was too late for Azarath.

(The doves fly away only to reveal that Azarath has been reduced to rubble and destroyed by Trigon. Buildings were burning and streams of lava were flowing. All of the denizens including Arella appeared to have perished at the hands of Trigon.)

Raven: No!

(Back at the tower, Ash and Tino were also horrified at what has become of Azarath.)

Ash Ketchum: WHAT THE?!
Tino Tonitini: WHAT?!

(They suddenly hear the dark bellowing laughter of Trigon, as his evil four red eyes loom down on Raven and her destroyed home. Trigon's evil laughter terrified Ash and Tino to the bone.)

Tino Tonitini: (scared) Uh, Ash?
Ash Ketchum: (scared) Y-Yes, Tino?
Tino Tonitini: I, uh, I-I-I think we've seen enough!
Ash Ketchum: Yeah! Couldn't agree more!
Tino Tonitini: Hurry! Turn off the tracking device on your communicator! Turn it off right now!
Ash Ketchum: Okay, okay! (turns the tracking device off immediately and the boys sigh in relief) Now, I see why she went to Azarath. She wanted to seek help and guidance from her mother.
Tino Tonitini: But a horrible monster destroyed her home world and she, along with the rest of her people, were already dead at the time. So, he created an illusion of her home world to trick her into thinking it's still intact.
Ash Ketchum: What a impure-hearted demon he is! I just can't believe that this is the way Raven's been welcomed back like that. Especially after living with her teammates on Earth for so long.
Tino Tonitini: Yeah, I can't believe it either. That was really cruel. Poor Raven. Now, I feel even more sorry for her than ever.
Ash Ketchum: Me too. Raven deserved a lot more than that. She could've gotten a warm welcome from her people and from her mother. But instead, all she got was a cruel illusion that revealed the reality of what actually happened to them along with her city. How terrible. And her mother, when she said that there wasn't anything she and her people could do to protect her, I think that monster did something unforgivable to her. Whatever it is, it must've scarred her for life.
Tino Tonitini: Maybe so.
Ash Ketchum: Tino, we need to know exactly who that monster was and why he destroyed her home. But first, we have to tell Robin about what we've learned through our tracking device!
Tino Tonitini: But what about Raven?

(Raven comes out of her room and rushes out in a hurry.)

Ash Ketchum: She might be heading back to the old abandoned library. Come on, let's follow her!
Tino Tonitini: Right behind you!

Raven comes back to save her friends/Tino and Ash calm Raven down[edit | edit source]

(Meanwhile, Slade has snared the other four Titans in burning tendrils that extend from his hand. Slade even has most of Tino's gang imprisoned behind bars so they couldn't assist them. Beast Boy is back in human form, and all strain against the bonds to no avail. Cut to Robin, who is lifted higher next to Starfire, then to Slade on the start of the next line.)

Slade: Struggling only makes it worse, and how I hate to see you suffer. This won't hurt a bit. (He warms up his other hand.)
Sunset Shimmer: Slade, stop this!
Lor McQuarrie: Let them go!
Carver René Descartes: Yeah, leave them alone!
Slade: (turns and looks menacingly at them) Don't worry. Once I'm done with them, you'll be next.
Raven: (from o.c.) Wanna bet?!

(The armored walking Zippo lighter is hit broadside with a huge slab of stone under her control and sandwiched between it and the wall before he can blink. His prisoners, now free, start to come around from the pounding they have taken, and Robin looks off across the chamber. Cut to the base of the central pillar and tilt up to the hand. Raven stands in its shaft of light, having returned from her visit to Azarath, and a close-up reveals the inscriptions that have surfaced all over her body. Her face, with its burning white eyes, is twisted into a look of undiluted fury.)

Sunset & Serena: Raven?!

(The rock slab she smashed into Slade stands quietly against the wall for a second, then glows brightly around the edges and explodes in a shower of fragments. Up he comes, still very much in one piece and ready to break a few other things if he can get his hands on them. As he steps toward the pillar, Raven descends to face him. She then breaks the lock from everyone's cages and frees Tino's gang. Soon enough, everyone seems to be safe for now.)

Raven: (menacingly) I told you to leave them out of this!
Slade: How sweet. You've come back to save your friends. But you're only delaying their pain... (warms up both hands) ...and yours.
Raven: Well, what are you waiting for? (crossing to him) Aren't you going to attack? Reduce me to ashes? Or did your master forbid you from hurting me? (He recoils a bit at this.) Did he order you to keep his gem safe?
Cyborg: (to the others) So Raven has the gem?
Robin: (putting it together) No. (Back to her; he continues o.c.) Raven is the gem.
Brock: Wait, Raven's the gem?!
Shaggy Rogers: Zoinks! Like I didn't see that coming!
Scooby-Doo: Neither did I!
Fred Jones: None of us did, Shaggy.

(He has just figured out what Slade told her in "Birthmark", that she will become involved in a chain of events intended to bring about the destruction of the world. The infernal errand boy cools down the fireballs he has been holding in check.)

Slade: (drops slowly out of sight) I'll be sure to give him your regards.

(A camera shift to floor level shows that he is sinking through it, with fire licking up around his form. After he has disappeared entirely, Raven speaks up.)

Raven: I'm not finished yet!

(Dropping to her knees, Raven thrusts one black hand through the stone; after a shoulder-wrenching effort, Raven gets to her feet and levitates Slade right back up into the chamber.)

Raven: This time, I have a message for you.

(Her eyes blaze and her powers extend themselves over every square inch of the steel-sheathed supervillain. A moment's pause is followed by a series of vicious heaves that sends him crashing into the ceiling, then the floor, then to the far wall in a shower of dust. Tino and Ash continue their way back and feel a rumbling vibration from Raven's fight with Slade.)

Tino Tonitini: Whoa! What was that?!
Ash Ketchum: (hears a rumbling sound and Raven's screaming) It's coming from down there! And it sounds like Raven's having a struggle with someone!
Tino Tonitini: Do you think she could be fighting Slade?
Ash Ketchum: Only one way to find out. Come on! We'd better hurry!

(Back at the fight)

Raven: (floats past the others, all dumbfounded) You tell him that he'll have to destroy me before I help him!
Slade: You can tell him yourself. (Close-up.) The hour is near.

(His eye widens as he notices a wide shadow falling over him; its source is a huge mass of stone that thunders down on him from the ceiling thanks to Raven. A few deft swings of her arms break him loose and bounce him all over the chamber like a pinball, after which she closes one Mark-emblazoned hand into a fist. This gesture brings up a few tons of fragments and crashes them together on Slade, who has been suspended in midair. As the fight continues, Tino and Ash finally arrive at the scene.)

Ash Ketchum: Robin!
Tino Tonitini: Robin!
Sunset Shimmer: Ash, Tino, where have you guys been?
Tino Tonitini: We'll explain later, Sunset. But we came as quickly as we could.
Ash Ketchum: Is everyone okay? Where's Raven?
Robin: We're all safe, Ash. Thanks. But Raven is out of control.
Beast Boy: Yeah, dude! She's not only kicking Slade's butt, but she's completely out of her mind! She's gone bonkers!
Tino & Ash: WHAT?!
Velma Dinkley: And we've found out that the gem isn't actually a thing nor hidden in this place. It turns out that Raven is in fact the gem.
Tino Tonitini: (gasps)
Ash Ketchum: What?!
Tino Tonitini: Impossible!
Ash Ketchum: Raven's the gem?! But-But how?! How can she be the gem?! I-I-It doesn't any make sense!
Daphne Blake: We don't know, Ash!
Shaggy Rogers: Like, we don't get it either!
Scooby-Doo: Nuh-uh!
Serena: And not only that, there's strange red markings glowing all over her body! Look! (points to her fighting Slade while the red markings glow)
Tino Tonitini: Strange red markings? Where did she get those?
Ash Ketchum: Probably from Slade. Where'd you think she could've gotten them from? (looks carefully at her while she continues fighting Slade) And that could explain why her clothes were all tattered from our last encounter with him. He used his powers to burn those markings onto her skin.
Tino Tonitini: He did what?!
Ash Ketchum: That "message" Slade was talking about from our last encounter is in fact the markings that are glowing all over her. His "master" must've told him to deliver it to her by burning it onto her skin, which resulted in tearing off most of her clothes.

(Everyone gasps in horror at what Ash said.)

Misty: What an evil thing to do!
Brock: Who is his "master"?!
Lynn Loud: Where can we find him?!
Lori Loud: And how can we tear him limb from limb?!
Lola Loud: Yeah, who ever told Slade to do that to our friend, he is so going down! We're gonna give his "master" a piece of our minds!

(Everyone agrees)

Robin: Hold it, everyone! We don't know who we're up against just yet. We'll have our revenge on Slade's "master" soon enough once we figure everything out. So, save your strength for now.
Ash Ketchum: He's right. What's important is that we have to deal with Raven. We have to stop her before she gets out of control even further.

(Back with Raven, her "soul self" manifests itself right behind her. This makes Slade's eye widen in pure surprise; with a primal yell, she sends the black bird figure straight at him and scores a direct hit. What comes next is an explosion that hides half the chamber in smoke clouds and leaves Tino, his gang, and the other Titans struggling to hold their ground. When the haze dissipates, Slade stands up from the huge crater blasted into the wall, showing his head to be twisted at an angle usually only seen in a corpse with a snapped neck. If anything, it is even more severe than the result of the beatdown Robin laid on him in "Birthmark," and it takes him perhaps a bit longer to put himself right. The crackling of vertebrae is heard just as clearly now as it was then; when he is back in order. Raven floats closer and is preparing to finish him off.)

Ash Ketchum: Raven! Tino, come on!

(Ash and Tino run up to Raven as fast as they could as she is about to deliver the final blow.)

Ash Ketchum: Raven!
Tino Tonitini: Raven!
Tino and Ash: (they quickly restrain her before she strikes Slade again) Raven, stop!
Raven: Huh?! (notices Ash and Tino holding her and attempts to shake them off) Ash, Tino, let go of me!
Ash Ketchum: (grunts as he struggles to hold Raven down) Keep a hold of her, Tino!

(Raven struggles to break herself free from Tino and Ash. They get into a scuffle until they fall onto the ground)

Ash Ketchum: Hang on to her!
Tino Tonitini: I'm trying! I'm trying!
Pikachu: Pika, Pi!
Serena: (grasps her hands close to her heart)
Tino Tonitini: (grunts) Raven, calm down!
Raven: Let me go!

(Everyone else including Scooby-Doo and his gang, Lincoln Loud and his sisters, Cyborg, Beast Boy, Robin, and Starfire, look on in worry as the boys struggle to restrain Raven.)

Ash Ketchum: (grunts) Take it easy, Raven! Stop it! (grunts) Hold still, will ya?!
Misty: Careful, Ash and Tino!
Brock: Raven's really not making this easier for them. Is she?
Sunset Shimmer: I hope she doesn't do any harm to them like she did to Ash on the night of her birthday. Even if it was just an accident.
Robin: They'll be fine. Trust me. They can handle this.

(Ash and Tino stand up and finally managed to fully restrain Raven.)

Ash Ketchum: Stop it, Raven!
Tino Tonitini: That's enough!
Raven: Both of you let me go this instant!
Tino Tonitini: Raven, please, listen to us! You have to stop this right now!
Ash Ketchum: This isn't like you at all, Raven! You've stopped Slade from hurting our friends!
Tino Tonitini: But if you keep going on like this, it won't matter any other way! You'll end up losing control of your powers and you'll become just as bad as Slade is!
Ash Ketchum: (grabs a shard of glass and holds it up for Raven to see) Look at yourself, Raven! Look at what you're becoming! Is this really what you are? Is this the Raven we know who always helped protect the city from dangerous criminals like Slade? Is this the Raven we know whose always been there when her friends needed her? And most importantly, is this the Raven we know who always said that fighting won't prove anything?!

(Raven looks at her reflection and gasps in horror. She realizes they're right. If she continued beating Slade even further, she'll become just as bad as he is. She then starts tearing up, but tries to hold them back. Ash drops the shard, takes out a handkerchief and uses it to dry her tears.)

Ash Ketchum: Hey. Shh-shh-shh-shh-shh. It's okay, Rae. It's okay.
Tino Tonitini: Just stop fighting. Enough is enough. It'll be alright. We promise.
Ash Ketchum: Everyone is safe, thanks to you. As long as we remain safe, there's no point to continue fighting Slade anymore. One day, we'll bring him down together and we're gonna make sure of it. You'll see. But please for now, just stop. For this is enough.

(With that, she backed down and relaxed herself. Tino and Ash are relieved that Raven has finally calmed down and they let go of her. Then, while pulling herself together, she turned her attention to Slade.)

Raven: They're right. This is enough. But I'll let you off with a warning. If you endanger my friends ever again, there will be no mercy for you whatsoever. Because I'm not afraid of you anymore.
Slade: You might not fear me, but look who's afraid of you.

(She looks and sees everyone in shock.)

Beast Boy: Raven?
Slade: (to Ash and Tino) And as for you two, you're both foolish to think she can spare my life when she already has a bad side within her. For soon, she'll be bringing nothing but destruction and death onto this world. For she is the gem and the prophecy of her birth will one day be fulfilled. So, enjoy this little victory of yours today. But one day, your fate will be sealed and the earth will be destroyed.

(Tino and Ash glare angrily at Slade as he disappears into the rocks. Raven, on the other hand, has no immediate response and turns away from the group. Tino and Ash then look at Raven in worry. Though they're happy that she's calmed down for good, they still feared that her life is still in danger as long as Slade and his "master" are still around.)

Raven reveals the Truth about her[edit | edit source]

Raven: The ancient order used the name "Skath" to protect the true identity of their master. We know him as Trigon.
Tino & Ash: Trigon?
Lincoln Loud: Trigon?
Shaggy Rogers: Like, what's a Trigon?
Scooby-Doo: I don't know.
Ash Ketchum: (quietly) So, that's what that monster was who destroyed Azarath.
Cyborg: Are you serious? That's who we're up against? Oh, man!
Starfire: His cruelty is legendary, even on my world.
Lola Loud: You've heard about him, Starfire?
Starfire: Oh, yes. Galfore told me and my sister stories about him and how his evil spread across the vast reaches of the universes. He's told me that many centuries ago, Trigon was once an evil inter-dimensional tyrant who used his powers to cross through time and space. He wiped out many galaxies from existence and slaughtered billions of innocent lives by merely lifting a finger.
Luna Loud: How terrible!
Starfire: Yes. And because of his wicked legacy, we all feared him. Even Blackfire, as evil as she is, feared him.
Misty: But besides the point, what's with those strange red markings that are all over you and why do they glow?
Raven: It's a warning. It means Trigon is coming, and the way he gets here is through me. I'm not just a person. I'm a portal.
Ash Ketchum: But Raven, why you?
Raven: Because...Trigon...is my father.
Everyone (except the Titans): FATHER?!?!

(Everyone is shocked and begins questioning how can a horrible being like Trigon be Raven's father)

Brock: Hey, guys. Guys! (silence) Do you remember the moment when Terra knocked Slade into the lava pit during his last conquest?
Tino Tonitini: Uh, yes? (everyone else agrees)
Brock: Well, I might have a theory as to how Slade came back, how he got his powers and why he was targeting Raven all of a sudden. (as Brock explains, flashbacks from Tino's Adventures of Teen Titans: Aftershock were shown; the flashbacks show the group's conflict with Slade and Terra, but unbeknownst to them, Trigon's four devilish eyes were watching the whole thing) During our conflict with Terra, Trigon might have been eavesdropping on the whole situation to spy on Raven and saw the terrible dark evil Slade had burning in his heart from that time. He saw how he lacked the concern of Terra's feelings, how he manipulated her into turning against us and the Titans, how mercilessly cruel he was to her and how malicious he was when he tried to kill the team through her. And after witnessing his demise, he must've secretly revived him and granted him those powers to do his biddings. He must've been looking for the perfect pawn whose heart was impure enough to help with his plans of using Raven to become the portal so he can enter Earth and destroy it. And because of the cruelty Slade inflicted on Terra and on the Titans, Trigon chose him to be the suitable candidate for the job.

(Everyone gasps)

Tino and Ash: No!!
Sunset Shimmer: Not him!
Serena: (horrified) No!!

Ash Ketchum: Raven, we need to know. Before you were born, what did Trigon do to your mother?
Tino Tonitini: Did he hurt her?
Raven: Worse than that. (sighs sadly) He deflowered her.
Everyone (except the Titans): (gasps in horror)
Robin: What?!
Beast Boy: (horrified) Dude!!
Cyborg: (Wreck-It Ralph's voice) NO WAY!!!
Starfire: (gasps) No!!
Serena: He deflowered your mother before you were born?!
Sunset Shimmer: How could he?!

Slade makes a deal with Trigon[edit | edit source]

Trigon: The time has come. The prophecy shall be fulfilled. Tonight at dusk, when the planets align, the portal will be opened. Finally, I shall be free from this fiery prison and the Earth shall be mine.
Slade: I will make sure Raven realizes her destiny. And for bring you precious gem, I expect you to keep your part of the bargain, and return what is precious to me.
Trigon: You bring me the gem, and you shall get what you deserved.
Slade: Deal. (stands up) It's a beautiful day for the end of the world.

(At the Titans Tower, in Raven's room, Raven is sound asleep. When suddenly, she is awakened when the markings started to glow all over her body)

Raven: (gasps) No.

[Screen goes fuzzy]

Patrick: Hey!
SpongeBob: Hehehe! Don't worry! I can fix it! [He pushes a button, and the tape comes out, It falls, breaking some of the tape] Deeae! [he picks up the tape, he gets out tape and scissors, he cuts and tapes, he puts the tape back in the socket]

A Great Day[edit | edit source]

Raven: (surprised) Plasmus? (relieved) It's just Plasmus.

(Beast Boy, as a rhinoceros, gets hurled into a building.)

Beast Boy: Yeah, but he's still as ugly as ever.

Beast Boy: (gets sneezed on by Plasmus) Eww!!! Only one thing worse than goo.
Raven: (flies by) Sneeze goo.
Beast Boy: (shuddering mightily) Ugh! Gross.

-

Raven: I just want everyone to have a nice day today. Come on. We have a lot to do before sunset.

(The sun shines warmly down on them, but with no warning it begins to darken as if the moon were passing in front to cause an eclipse. However, neither the moon nor any other heavenly body is visible in the sky; the event is happening of its own accord. The sky dims into twilight as the sun is blocked out, and once it has disappeared except for a corona around the edge, the blue deepens even more from the horizon up.)

Brock: What's that? An eclipse?
Lori Loud: I don't know.

(Suddenly, Raven is pushed back and fourth by an invisible force. She turns around with fear in her eyes as she struggles with the influence that seized control of her body. Everyone looks on in worry.)

Beast Boy: What's going on?
Robin: Raven!
Sunset Shimmer: Raven, what's wrong?

(Raven falls backwards as her arms glow the markings of Trigon.)

Ash Ketchum: Whoa! (he and Tino catch Raven as she faints) Raven!
Tino Tonitini: Are you okay? Come on, stay with us!

(Robin rushes to Raven's side.)

Serena: (gasps softly) Oh, dear...! (quickly digs into her bag and pulls out a fan) It's alright, Raven! (waves her fan to help wake Raven up) We're here!
Tino Tonitini: Sunset, go get her some water! Hurry!
Sunset Shimmer: Right! Does anybody have any water?! Anyone?! Please! She needs some water! Right now!

(The group frantically searches their bags for spare water bottles they haven't used.)

Daphne Blake: (pulls a spare water bottle out from her bag) Here! I've got it!

(Daphne gives Sunset a bottle of water for Raven.)

Sunset Shimmer: Thanks, Daphne! (runs over to Raven) Here, Raven. (gives her some water)

(Raven slowly starts regaining consciousness, much to everyone's relief. However, Raven is still in danger due to the fact that the darkest day she was prophesized to fulfill since birth has arrived.)

Robin: Why didn't you tell us? (Raven moans and focuses her eyes.) It's happening, isn't it?
Starfire: Please, Raven. Today is the day? It is...
Misty: Is it really...?
Raven: (softly) ...The end of the world.

(Everyone gasps in horror.)

Ash & Tino: (softly) No!

(Raven lays there and starts shedding tears. The other four Titans, Tino, Ash, Serena, Sunset, and everyone else look on in fear, uncertainty, and deep concern for their dearest friend now that the day Raven feared the most has arrived. The sky view Trigon's four wicked eyes glowing and staring down from above. Now, that they know that the darkest day has come, everyone now know what has to be done. They have to keep Slade from getting to Raven and protect her from fulfilling the dreaded prophecy of her birth at all costs.)

The Heroes get Raven to her safety[edit | edit source]

(Soon, everyone has returned to the Titans Tower. Robin leads the group down the hallway while Cyborg carries Raven. Ash and Tino stay by Raven's side as Cyborg carries her.)

Robin: Okay, everyone. Just as we planned.
Raven: Where are you taking me?
Robin: You said there was nothing we could do. We didn't agree, so we've been preparing for this day.

Trigon communicating Raven[edit | edit source]

(Everyone is watching over Raven who is meditating in the safety room)

Cyborg: So far, everything seems pretty much normal.
Beast Boy: Yep. Just your normal last day on Earth.
Shido: (slaps Beast Boy in the head) It's no one's last day on Earth, you blithering idiot!
Sunset Shimmer: Tino, do you think Raven is going to be alright?
Tino Tonitini: I hope so, Sunset. (sighs) I really hope so.
Lola Loud: Lana, I'm scared.
Lana Loud: Me too.
Leni Loud: Lori, I'm too pretty to die. I'm really scared.
Lori Loud: Shh.... There, there, Leni. We'll be fine. I hope.
Serena: Ash?
Ash Ketchum: Hmm?
Serena: If Raven truly does become the portal, what do you think is gonna happen to her? Will she-Will she die? Will she disappear forever?
Ash Ketchum: I, (sighs) I-I don't know, Serena. I really don't know. But all we can do for now is hope and pray that she will be okay.
Serena: I hope so. (sighs) I'm really scared. I suffered so much already. I've dealt with losing Terra at the hands of Slade last year. And now this? I don't wanna lose Raven too. Not to a dangerous prophecy she was born to fulfill. She never wanted any of this.
Ash Ketchum: I know, Serena. I know. (hugs her and comforts her) We all don't wanna lose Raven. She's our closest friend and we cannot afford to let anything bad happen to her. But don't you worry. It'll all be okay. You'll see. We're not gonna let Trigon take her away from us. We will do whatever it takes to protect her. I promise you.
Pikachu: (worriedly) Pika...
Raven: (in her thoughts) They can't stop him. Nothing can stop him. But they're willing to risk everything for me. If anyone could stop Trigon, maybe they could.

(The next voice makes her open her eyes in a hurry.)

Trigon: (voice) You know better than to fill you head with fanciful ideas.
Raven: (in her thoughts) You aren't here. You can't be.
Trigon: (voice; his shadow looms over her) I am always with you. You are part of me forever.
Raven: Get out!

(Behind her, the safety room walls are swiftly replaced by those of a cavern; she gazes around on the verge of panic.)

Trigon: (voice) There is no stopping what is about to happen. (Now she floats in midair above a sea of flames in this underground space. Just below her is a small, hovering slab of rock, and the camera pulls back to show others in the inferno and those two pairs of red eyes in the background.) This is the reason I sired you. You were born so I could rule the Earth.
Raven: (turns around) What if I don't let you? What if I don't become the portal?
Trigon: (voice) It is not your place to tell me what to do! (surrounds the place with fire) I am the one with all the power! I am the one who decides your destiny! You do not have a choice! (Raven fires her powers at her evil father, but he absorbs her attacks) You will always be Daddy's little girl.
Raven: I am nothing like you!

(Her eyes go red and double up to match his own-and, realizing that this anger is about to tip her over into his control, she cries out and claps both hands to her face. Her sudden retreat is met with the steady falls of his cloven-hoofed feet as he crosses the cavern. The air now shimmers from the extreme heat of the blazes on all sides.)

Trigon: You wanted to protect your friends keep them from knowing, (Raven lands to the ground amid the flames) but you cannot deny the evil within you. You will bring destruction to everything and everyone. Like father like daughter.
Raven: No!
Trigon: You cannot hide from your destiny.

(We go back to the safety room, but Raven is still in meditation only with her head bowed down)

Tino Tonitini: (gasps when he notices something's wrong) Robin, something's happening.
Robin: It might be Trigon.
Starfire: Yes. The Trigon is contacting her. We must assist!
Robin: She's safest if she stays in there.
Cyborg: Robin's right. (the alarm goes off) Besides, we've got company.

Titans and Heroes vs Slade and his minions[edit | edit source]

Raven knocks out her friends and goes with Slade[edit | edit source]

(Meanwhile in the safety room, Raven is laying conscious on the floor. Her evil demonic father is still contacting her. She and Trigon are in the smoking cavern where they faced off earlier in this act.)

Trigon: Your friends cannot stop the inevitable. (appears behind Raven in the darkness) They are doomed. (slides his demonic hand under her and lifts her up) Do you really want their last day to end like this? How can you bear to watch them suffer?
Raven: (drops her head) Don't hurt them.
Trigon: (coldly lying to her) I am not the one hurting them, you are. You know what must be done.
Raven: (pleadingly) But, Father...I don't want to.
Trigon: (lowers her down) You cannot hide from your destiny. (closes his fist on her)

Raven: Goodbye. Be safe.

The Titans woke up[edit | edit source]

The Prophecy is Fulfilled[edit | edit source]

Raven: (becoming the portal) The gem was born of evil's fire, the gem shall be his portal, he comes to claim, he comes to sire, the end of all things mortal!
Robin: No!
Starfire: Raven! (turns to Robin and begins to cry)
Tino Tonitini: Raven!
Ash Ketchum: Raven, no!
Sunset Shimmer and Serena: Raven!!!
Trigon: (after emerging from the portal) THE EARTH.... IS MINE!!!

Raven's Power saved the Titans[edit | edit source]

Raven: The gem was born of evil's fire, the gem shall be his portal, he comes to claim, he comes to sire, the end of all things mortal.

(Then Raven becomes the portal)

Tino Tonitini: Raven!
Ash Ketchum: Raven, no!
Sunset Shimmer and Serena: Raven!!!

(Then Trigon appears out of the portal)

Trigon: (after emerging from the portal) The Earth... is MINE!

The Titans got Raven's power/They fight Trigon (First try)[edit | edit source]

Lori Loud: Boo-Boo Bear? Boo-Boo Bear? Bobby? Can you hear me? Please respond! Answer me! Please!! (breaks down and cries)
Lincoln Loud: Clyde? Clyde? Come in, Clyde! Clyde, do you read me? (silence) I'm not getting anything!
Ash Ketchum: Lori, Lincoln, it's no use. None of them are gonna respond because they too fell victim to Trigon's power. They're both turned to stone like everyone else on the planet. We're the only ones left along with the Titans.
Tino Tonitini: Then that means all of our families and neighbors ended up as victims to Trigon as well.

(Everyone gasps in horror)

Lola Loud: Not our mommy and daddy!
Luan Loud: Not Poppop and Gram-Gram!
Leni Loud: Not Mr. Grouse and Flips!
Lincoln Loud: Not Ronnie Anne and her family!
Brock: I'm afraid so, guys. All of our families and friends have been killed when Trigon laid assault on our world. We barely survived because Raven's powers shielded all of us. Now it's up to us to bring him down, restore our world and bring back our loved ones. I will have my revenge on Trigon for destroying my family!
Misty: Me too! I want my sisters back!
Ash Ketchum: And Professor Oak, the Pokémon I keep in his lab, all my friends from every region: May, Max, Dawn, Clemont, Bonnie, Iris, Cilan, Tracey and Gary, and my mom! I want them all back!
Shaggy Rogers: Like, we want all our families and friends back!
Scooby-Doo: Yeah!

Robin: I know what we saw, but I still I can't believe it.
Tino: Me neither.
Ash: Me neither. It just doesn't feel like Raven's really gone forever.
Slade: That's because she isn't. (appears from the darkness, but this time, without the mark of Scath)
Robin: Slade....

The plan to rescue Raven and keep Trigon busy[edit | edit source]

(Then Robin throws his rings at him and he dodged them, and then Beast Boy in a triceratops form runs toward him)

Tohka: CHARGE!!!

(He hits Slade into the wall and then he hits him against it, as he goes down)

Robin: What's the matter, Slade? Giving up already?
Slade: Sorry to disappoint you, Robin. I'm not here to fight, I'm here to help.
Serena: Help? How dare you offer us help after all the unforgiving things you've done! You just don't know when to quit! Enough is enough, you demon!
Beast Boy: We don't need your help!
Slade: (brushes his arm) Yes, you seemed to have everything under control. Raven can still be saved.

(Starfire tackles him and pins him on the wall)

Starfire: You will not dishonor our friend with your trickery!
Cyborg: Whatever you're selling we're not buying!
Serena: First, Robin, then Terra, and now Raven! Why do you continue to add further insult to injury by making us suffer?! How can you possibly bring us any lower, Slade?! WHAT MORE CAN YOU TAKE AWAY FROM US?!
Ash Ketchum: You never cared one thing about how they felt after what you've done to them! I can definitely tell by the icy look in your eye. Their lives meant absolutely nothing to you! You're not even the least bit sorry! Even now, all you can think about is how to bring pain and misfortune to innocent people! You just hate to feel guilty, Slade!
Tino Tonitini: And now, you have the nerve to show yourself right after Trigon destroyed our world and offer your assistance to us just to ease your conscience! Well, don't think for an instant that we're supposed to forgive you, Slade! For none of that is gonna change a bit!
Lola Loud: Our entire world is destroyed, and it costed us everything! All of our families, friends, and one of the Titans' best teammates! And this is all your fault, you one-eyed monster!
Slade: Think of me what you will. But what Trigon did, even I wouldn't wish on this world.
Cyborg: It's a little late for "I'm sorry!"
Slade: You mistake my generosity for regret, Cyborg. I only offered my assistance because it suits me.
Starfire: (put Slade down) But we saw Raven become the portal! She was destroyed!
Cera: Yeah, we saw her disappear when she became the portal.
Brock: How can you be so certain Raven is still alive after becoming the portal? Why should we believe you?
Serena: In fact, why should we trust you after all the horrible things you've done?! We can only trust people who have a good heart! But you, Slade, your heart is black from the people that you've hurt! People like Robin, Terra and Raven!
Beast Boy: What she said!
Slade: I don't care if any of you trust me or not but hear me out. Raven has fulfilled the prophecy of her birth. That part of her existence is complete, but another part still remains. For the moment.
Robin: Why are you doing this? What's in it for you?
Ash Ketchum: Yeah, in fact, why do you want to do this?!
Lynn Loud: Give us a reason why!
Slade: My reasons are my own. Do you want your friend back or not?
Cyborg: Just tell us where she is, and we'll take it from there.
Slade: There will be no we. This is a journey only one of you may take.
Beast Boy: No deal! She's our friend! All of us are going!
Slade: Then your friend is doomed to oblivion. You've failed to realize Trigon is all seeing. His mind can be at any place at any time. For us to succeed, Trigon's attention must be occupied.
Natalie Blackstone: And how do you expect us to do that?! We already tried fighting him and look where it got us!
Slade: It's the end of the world. Did you think it would be easy? I don't expect you to win. I don't even expect you to live. Only endure.
Robin: I'll go with you.
Starfire: Robin, no!
Robin: If there is even the slightest chance to save Raven, what choice do we have?
Tino: Ash and I will go too. (Ash nods his head in agreement)
Sunset Shimmer: (grabs Tino's hand) Tino, wherever you go, I go too.
Shido: And I'll go with you, too.
Tohka: Shido, don't go. It's not safe.
Shido: I'll be fine, Tohka. I promise. Besides, Raven's our friend and we gotta save her.
Tino Tonitini: Slade, whether if you agree with us or not, Ash, Shido, Sunset and I are coming with you and Robin as well. The four of us are just as determined to save Raven as Robin is. So, if he goes with you, then we go with you too. You kinda don't have much of a choice.
Slade: (groans) Alright, fine. If you insist. The journey to this world has taken much of Trigon's power. (hands out the ring of Azar) With this, you might be able to survive. It's a ring of Azar. Forged by the same order that imprisoned Trigon. I know from experience that works. (Starfire takes the ring from Slade's hand)
Robin: I know you can do it. (hugs Starfire)
Cyborg: It may get ugly, but don't worry. We'll keep them busy.
Beast Boy: Yeah, just wait 'till Trigon and the villains get slopped with my patented wet-willie maneuver.
Robin: They won't know what hit them.
Tino Tonitini: We're counting on all of you to give us enough time to find Raven.
Ash Ketchum: Remember to not give up fighting until it's over.
Serena: (hugs Ash) Do be careful down there, Ash. Please bring her back safely.
Ash Ketchum: I will, Serena. You can always count on us. Just remember, while you're distracting Trigon, keep fighting for Raven and do not give up on her just like how you've never given up on Terra.
Serena: Yes, of course. I promise.
Slade: Your good-byes are really quite touching, but we have work to do. (Slade turns and leaves as Robin and Starfire stare at each other for a moment) Fellas.
Ash Ketchum: Come on, Pikachu. (Pikachu hops on Ash's shoulder)

(Robin, Tino, Sunset Shimmer, Ash, and Shido follows Slade. Robin then turns to his friends)

Robin: We'll bring her back. We promise. (leaves)
Lori Loud: Good luck.

(The five heroes descend down with Slade, leaving the rest of the gang wondering if they'll see them again as the footsteps fade and the wind moans through the city. Cut to within the shaft, which is very wide with a trail circling down along the wall like the spiral staircase that brought the Titans into the chamber to start with. Slade leads them toward the unfathomable gloom at the bottom. Dissolve to the pair on the move, now closely following a sheer cliff; far in the distance is some barrier that carries the red mark removed from Slade's forehead. A close-up reveals it to be a set of stone double doors, bound in iron, over which a large hood with eyeholes has been carved. Tilt down to the pair as they reach the threshold.)

Slade: Before we continue, a warning. If we succeed, I can't guarantee you'll like what you find.
Robin: We'll take our chances.
Tino Tonitini: Yeah.

(They heave against the great doors and manage to push them open; white light floods from beyond, filling the screen. From here, fade in to just within the doorway. Once Robin and Slade have opened the doors all the way, they move in and the camera shifts to point ahead of them. At first glance, the space appears to be a long corridor lined with large stone ravens that glow with an unseen orange light. The six travelers step into view and stop, and the camera zooms ahead of them and tilts down to show the chamber in full detail. They are on a ledge that overlooks a vast ravine, the ravens are carved from its walls, and the glow is from the lava that streams down from them to form a boiling river far below. A small rowboat bobs near a landing.)

Trigon creates the clones[edit | edit source]

Trigon: (laughs evilly) I might be the source of all darkness, but you are your own worst enemies.

(The clone of Cyborg goes to the real Cyborg)

Nega Cyborg: Raven's not the only one with a bad side.

Robin, Tino, Sunset Shimmer, Ash, Shido and Slade's journey[edit | edit source]

(Robin and Slade pulled the boat closer to shore for the group to climb board.)

Ash Ketchum: So, tell us, Slade. Why did you do all of this anyway? Was it all for money? All for status? All for those dark powers?

(They set sail with Robin controlling the rudder and Slade rowing the bow.)

Slade: Not everything is so cut and dry, Ash.
Tino Tonitini: Well, selling out the whole world for your own personal gain seems pretty cut and dry to us if you think about it.
Slade: With or without me, there was no stopping this.
Sunset Shimmer: But you've played a part, Slade. And just like everything else, all you've ever done was made innocent people suffer.
Shido: Like how you've made Robin, Terra, Beast Boy, and Raven suffer.
Slade: It's what I do best.

(Tino, Ash, Shido, and Sunset growl angrily at Slade for his maliciousness)

Robin: Tino, Slade and I will hold them off! You get everyone else to shore!
Tino Tonitini: Okay! (grabs oar) Hold on tight, guys! Whatever you do, don't fall out!

Slade: Only a minor setback. Nothing two old friends can't handle.
Robin: I'm not your friend.

-

Shido: Hey! I thought we had a deal.
Slade: Old habits die hard.

-

(Slade turns his head and reveals his skull with one glowing red eyeball. Tino, Ash, Sunset, and Shido gasp and scream. Tino and Sunset grab onto each other as they scream. Ash and Pikachu hide behind Robin in fright. Robin and Shido cringe in fear and disgust at the sight of Slade's skull.)

Slade: (picks up his mask and puts it back on) I'd rather you hadn't seen that. It's really only a temporary condition.
Robin: What are you?
Slade: Let's just say I'm currently incomplete. Time is running out. We must keep moving.
Robin: I don't think so. (puts away his staff) Unless we get some answers, you're on your own.
Tino Tonitini: So start talking.

(Brief silence)

Shido: Well?

(We go to a flashback of Slade beating up Terra for her failure of killing the Titans during his previous conquest.)

Slade: (voiceover) It seems my luck with apprentices is most unfortunate.
Ash Ketchum: (voiceover; sarcastically) Oh, you think?

(The corrupted blonde comes up with glowing eyes and fist, knocking him from their high rock perch amid an explosion. The sound of the blast is greatly muted. Down he goes, plunging toward the lava lake at the bottom of the cavern.)

Slade: (voiceover) Terra's betrayal should've been my demise.
Sunset Shimmer: (voiceover; sarcastically) Obviously.

(Cut to a point a bit farther up; flames wash up from below, marking his splashdown, and we then see his loose mask slowly engulfed by the rising tide. Snap to black, against which a ring of fire blazes up.)

Slade: (voiceover) But I got lucky. (resurrected as an undead zombie) Someone was looking out for me that day.
Trigon: Heed my command, and I will return what you have lost. (uses his powers to restore Slade's armored costume and entrusted him with the mark of Scath)
Slade: (voiceover) It was a simple arrangement actually. Do a few chores, and I get back my flesh and blood. And I must admit, the fringe benefits were most enjoyable.

(Flashbacks shown with Slade beating the titans with his new powers, holding the raggedly clothed, heavily inscribed Raven at the edge of a precipice as the full moon blazes behind them, and leading his army of fire demons to attack the titans tower in order to retrieve Raven and become the portal)

Slade: (voiceover) A pity things didn't work out as planned.

(A flashback is shown with Slade attacking Trigon for stabbing him in the back and not honoring his side of the deal. It also shows Trigon stripping Slade of his powers.)

Slade: The moral of this story: never make a deal with an interdimensional demon without a little protection.
Ash Ketchum: I see. Brock was right. Trigon was the reason you came back because he saw the terrible dark evil you had burning in your heart during your conquest with Terra. And he chose you to help him in his plans of destroying the world by forcing Raven to become the portal.
Slade: For a Pokémon trainer like yourself, Ash, you seem pretty wise.
Robin: Not only that, you didn't bring us down here to save Raven. We're also here to help save you.
Slade: A deal's a deal.

Titans vs Evil Titans Round I[edit | edit source]

Nega Cyborg: (from o.c.) Go ahead. (Pull back to frame him.) Run crying home to Mommy. Oh, that's right, you don't have a mommy!

(That crack gets the Titan on his feet and moving in for a little payback. He reconfigures both arms into cannons, as he did in "Overdrive", but Nega Cyborg just stands pat with a vicious half-smile. Close-up of his left arm as he warms it up, after which the camera pulls back and the two heavily armed brawlers pace toward one another as if fighting a pistol duel in reverse. Nega Cyborg's right is now a cannon as well. In a long shot of the wrecked block, the glare from their shots floats up along with a dense wall of smoke.)

(Tilt up to the sky, where the streaks of Starfire and her evil twin mark their continuing melee. They are literally all over the place, a brilliant flash marking every one of their collisions. The last one is much more intense and marked by a sizable explosion that clears to show Starfire plunging unconscious toward the concrete crazy quilt far below. Ground level: she comes down hard and tumbles away a short distance, and as she gets up to all fours, she finds Nega Starfire coming down on her in a headlong dive.)

(A flare of green fury at eyes and hands, and the authentic Tamaranean is off the ground, moving fast enough to heat the air just in front of her due to friction. She and Nega Starfire collide and are immediately lost within a cataclysmic explosion that fills the screen with smoke. Back at ground level, the red-eyed enemy hits the ground standing and skids backward a bit. Starfire's rebound is carrying her toward a building, but she pulls out of it with no room to spare and zeroes in like the world's angriest cruise missile.)

(A red eye blast flashes toward her and does not miss; she pulls clear of the smoke, rubbing her head dazedly, and does not notice the shooter curving back around her. Close-up; she gasps in sudden shock, and the camera pulls back to reveal that Nega Starfire has caught both her wrists behind her back. She struggles to break the hold.)

Starfire: You remind me of our sister.
Nega Starfire: I will take that as a compliment. Realize, with you gone, Robin will be all mine!

(Cut to an extreme close-up of that red left eye, just behind Starfire's head, and pan slowly to bring its green opposite number into view. It is closed tight.)

Starfire: He will not!

(The eye pops open, blazing with every bit of righteous fury she can drum up, and the camera pulls back. Starfire finally reverses Nega Starfire's grip and plants a boot in her back to catapult her toward the ground. Down here, the Beast Boys are fighting it out; the good one as a gorilla, the evil one as a python trying to throttle him. The ape's staggering carries behind a rock briefly; when they appear on the other side, both have resumed human form. Nega Beast Boy breaks his stranglehold in favor of an attempt at breaking Beast Boy's leg, but is interrupted when Nega Starfire's nose dive carries her toward them. The green hero is flung into the air an instant before she smashes into her partner flat.)

(Beast Boy becomes a falcon in midair and flies to safety while the dust clears from the crash. One boiling-mad changeling glares up after him, gets a running start, and becomes a pterodactyl to give chase. Nega Starfire, meanwhile, is still trying to stand up and figure out who let the marching band practice in her skull. She accomplishes the former after a moment, if not the latter, and rises to dodge a couple of starbolts coming down at her.)

(Now Beast Boy, back in human form, stands ready for another bash. A gray-booted foot lands near the camera.)

Nega Beast Boy: (from o.c.) What's the matter? (Cut to him.) Had enough? (Back to Beast Boy; he continues o.c.) No wonder Terra dumped you!

(The mother of all cheap shots, judging from the facial expression that shifts quickly from pure shock to tearful sorrow to blinding rage. He rushes straight at the enemy, who easily dodges his wild swings.)

Nega Beast Boy: Aww. Did I hurt your feelings?

The 5 heroes found young Raven[edit | edit source]

Slade: You must be overjoyed to see me like this, heroes. Desperate, weak, vulnerable.
Robin: We're here to save Raven, not pity you.
Sunset Shimmer: Which way?
Slade: I'm afraid this is where we part company. You'll find your friend along that path.
Tino: And what about you?
Slade: What I seek is in a somewhat hotter place.
Shido: What? That's it? No double-cross? No cryptic threat?
Slade: I kept my word. How about a little gratitude?
Sunset Shimmer: No way. Don't think that all this changes anything. Not after all of the unforgivable things you've done.
Robin: Yeah. And if we ever see you again...
Slade: I wouldn't expect anything less. (leaves)
Ash Ketchum: Forget him, guys. He's not worth it. What matters is that we have to find Raven and bring her back.

Robin: Hello? Is anyone here?
Tino: Raven, are you in here? Raven?
Ash: Raven, answer us!
Sunset Shimmer: Raven?
Shido: (sees something white swishing by in the shadows and gasps) Who's there?! Show yourself!
Tino: (sees a hooded figure running) Over there! Come on!

(They run after the hooded figure until it trips over. Robin removes the cloak, and, much to their unexpected surprise, find a small, but terrified 5-year old child version of Raven.)

Robin, Ash, Tino, Sunset, and Shido: Raven?!
Raven: Who... who are you?

Trigon and the Villains knew about the plan[edit | edit source]

Nega Starfire: (laughs) (whispers) They're trying to distract you so Robin and his friends can-
Trigon: I know.
Petrie: He knows?!
Cyborg: He knows. They've just been toying with us.
Trigon: I was aware of this rescue mission before your small minds had even conceived it. And I have known from the beginning that your plan presents no threat. (gets up) You fail to comprehend the depth of my power. And you fail to understand the departure of your friend. Some remnant of my daughter may yet exist, but the Raven you knew is lost forever.

(Everyone gasps)

Shaggy Rogers: Like is this evil Trigon monster telling the truth? Is Raven really gone forever? Everything we've been through with her? Has it been a lie?
Fred Jones: Maybe everything we think we know about her. None of it is real.
Daphne Blake: No. I-I refuse to believe it!
Serena: Me neither! I don't believe in any of that nonsense! Our friendship with Raven is real and I know it. And we love her very much. She's our dearest friend and we're like a family to her.
Velma Dinkley: Serena and Daphne are right. Every word this behemoth spits out about Raven is a lie! Guys, whatever he says, don't listen to him! Let's keep fighting until it's over! For Raven!
Scooby-Doo: Yeah, for Raven!
Littlefoot & Cera: For Raven!

Raven finally remembers[edit | edit source]

Raven: Who...who are you?
Robin: It's okay. We're here to take you back.

(The little girl whirls away in a panicked run.)

Shido: Hey! Come back!
Sunset Shimmer: Raven!
Ash Ketchum: Come back here!

(They go after her; she clambers over a pile of rubble, and the camera cuts to outside as she dashes down a flight of stairs on this side of the building. Their course ranges through the scatter of masonry fragments that line the slope on one side. Cut briefly to Raven's rapidly shifting perspective of the area; the staircase is very long and leads down to a bridge over the chasm in which this place is situated-then back to her. The five heroes are pulling even now.)

Robin: Wait! We're not going to hurt you!
Tino: Don't be afraid!

(They looks ahead and immediately puts one hand on the flagstones as a brake. The reason becomes apparent when the camera cuts briefly to his perspective; he has reached the edge of nothingness, and a few pebbles clatter in to make the point. Raven, having the advantage of being on the stairs, is able to reach the bridge; Robin corrects his own course and resumes the pursuit. On the far side, the chase moves into a cavern. Cut to inside it as the five heroes enter, ducking low as he does so and finding the ceiling barely high enough to accommodate him. He looks here and there and is met with the sight of a forest of thick stone columns that project partway up from the floor.)

Shido: Where'd she go?
Ash Ketchum: (spots Raven hiding) Over there!

(Robin goes over to where Raven is hiding and attempts to get her out)

Robin: Please! We just want-- (She kicks him in the leg.) Ow! (falls backwards)

(Raven grabs her cloak and runs off)

Tino: You okay, Robin?
Robin: Yeah.
Sunset Shimmer: She's still running away.
Ash Ketchum: I'll get her to stop. Let's go, Pikachu.
Pikachu: Pika!
Ash Ketchum: (chases after Raven) Raven, stop! Stop!

(Raven continues to run until she stumbles and falls downward. Suddenly, a fire demon appeared and is about to attack her)

Ash Ketchum: Pikachu, use Iron Tail!

(Pikachu leaps up and uses Iron Tail on the fire demon, saving Raven. Tino, Robin, Shido, and Sunset meet up with Ash and Raven.)

Robin: Raven, it's me. Robin. Remember?
Tino Tonitini: And me, Tino.
Ash Ketchum: And remember me? Your old pal, Ash? And his partner, Pikachu?
Pikachu: Pikachu.
Sunset Shimmer: And me, Sunset Shimmer.
Shido: And me, Shido Itsuka.
Raven: I'm lost.
Robin: We know. But we've found you. You don't need to be afraid anymore. We can help you, but you have to let us.
Tino Tonitini: Please trust us, Rae.
Ash Ketchum: We won't hurt you. We're going to help you. Just trust us.

(Robin holds out his hand for her. Raven, who is a bit shaken, lifts hers and puts it on Robins, fully trusting them for their help. Meanwhile, Slade is wondering alone in the caverns below. He slips over the edge and falls downward, leaving his mask fall off. He picks it up and continues onward. He comes to a devilish guard who is keeping watch at the door.)

Guard: The hollow journey of your vacant vessel ends here. What you seek cannot be reclaimed.
Slade: (crosses the bridge) Perhaps. (shows his skull for a few seconds, but puts his mask back on) But it's not like I have anything left to lose.

(The huge gray figure advances threateningly. It has at least three feet on everyone's favorite psychopath, who tries a punch only to get bashed away onto his back. Up comes the poleaxe head; cut to an overhead view of the truly surprised Slade and zoom in on his face.)

Lincoln Loud: Lisa, how much longer do we have to stall Trigon? (fights a fire demon)
Lisa Loud: (talks while fighting fire demons) By my calculations, we clearly have about another 35 minutes left until our friends find Raven.
Lincoln Loud: 35 minutes?! Aw, come on!
Lisa Loud: I'm just giving you the facts, Lincoln!
Misty: Well, we'd better think fast, because we're slowly running out of options over here!
Brock: Me too!
Luna Loud: (gets herself surrounded by fire demons) DUDES, HELP!!!
Littlefoot and Cera: Hold on, Luna!

Cyborg: Told you I could kick your butt.
Misty: Uh, guys....

(Trigon approaches them and he is not very happy.)

Beast Boy: Um, he's coming over here! I really don't like that he's coming over here!
Brock: And from the look on his face, he doesn't look very happy!
Trigon: Your victory has no meaning. You merely prolong your suffering. The rule of mortals has ended! (holds out one hand) This world belongs to me! (digs his clawed fingers into the ground and creates a fissure, which unleashes a horde of fire demons)
Cyborg: RUN!!!
Shaggy Rogers: Like let's get outta here!
Scooby-Doo: Yeah, outta here!

(Beast Boy quick-changes into a giant dragonfly, Starfire picks up Cyborg, and all three bail out as the flaming horde starts after them with the rest of Tino's gang following in hot pursuit. Meanwhile underground, Robin, Ash, Tino, Sunset, and Shido row the boat to shore with Raven. Tino looks around to make sure there's no danger.)

Tino Tonitini: Okay, it looks safe.

(They climb out)

Robin: (to Raven as he extends his hand to her) It's alright.
Ash Ketchum: (lifts her up while Raven takes Robin's hand) Upsy-daisy. (helps Raven onto Robin's back) How about a story to help pass the time, Rae? Do you want Robin to tell it to you?

(Raven nods her head in response, saying "yes".)

Robin: Okay. (as he tells the story, he along with the others climb to the surface with Raven on his back) This is the story of Raven. She was our very good friend. And she was very brave. Together, we fought evil. We beat monsters and villains, and we kept our city safe. But even though she was doing good, Raven was always afraid that deep down inside, she was bad. See, from the day she was born...(earth tremors)...people told her that someday, something terrible was going to--

(Suddenly, they were cut off when an earthquake happens.)

Sunset Shimmer: What's going on?
Shido: I don't know.

(Just then, a massive horde of fire demons fly straight up towards them.)

Ash Ketchum: Look out!

(Tino, Sunset, Shido and Ash duck in cover from the incoming fire demons. The patch that Robin is holding onto breaks and he slides down the pillar with Raven still on his back.)

Tino Tonitini: Raven!
Sunset Shimmer: Robin!

(Ash slides down as fast as he could and manages to grab Robin. But Raven loses her grip on Robin and starts plunging into the chasm below.)

Robin & Ash: RAVEN!!!

(She drops away from the camera, her lungs going full tilt and her cloak waving like a torn parachute. Fade to black.)

(Opening shot: an overhead view of the molten currents. Raven plunges screaming into view, headed straight toward the gaping fracture in the riverbed, and a second later Robin dives after her. Tucking arms and legs in as tightly as they will go, he gains speed and catches up to wrap the tiny white figure in a crushing bear hug. One problem down, one to go, how to keep from being burned to a crisp at the bottom of the gorge? He answers this one by pulling out a grappling hook and firing overhead; the line snaps taut, allowing him to swing to a high, narrow bridge.)

Shido: Robin, watch out!

(No time to rest, though, as a boulder thunders down just behind Robin and smashes through the formation. He pounds along the span, Raven holding on for dear life, and the warriors Trigon summoned go hurtling up past the bridge as the rest of it collapses. One frantic leap after another carries the properly aged Titan along the high-speed cave-in; finally, he hurls himself onto the far landing, and the creatures rise through the ceiling fault to reach the surface.)

Sunset Shimmer: Are you okay, Robin?
Robin: Yeah, I'm fine!
Tino Tonitini: Just stay right where you are with Raven! We're coming down! Come on, guys.

(After a few moments, Robin and Raven are rejoined by the Tino, Ash, Sunset and Shido.)

Ash Ketchum: Are you alright, Raven?
Robin: You didn't get hurt?
Raven: Robin, why are you and your friends doing this?
Sunset Shimmer: You do remember, don't you?
Raven: (nods) The story he was telling, I can see it. Bits of pieces, you, our friends, my father, like it was a dream. A nightmare, whatever it was, it's over.
Robin: Raven, there may still be a way to-
Raven: Nobody can't stop him, I remember that. You guys came down here for nothing.
Ash Ketchum: No, Raven, that's not true. We didn't come all this way for nothing.
Robin: We came down here for you.
Shido: You're our friend, Raven. Friends stick together till the end. We need you.
Raven: Why? I can't help! My powers can from him, and now that he's done with me, I don't have them anymore. There was... a prophecy, Robin. And it became true. It's all over now.
Robin: Yeah, it's the end of the world. But so what? We're still here, still fighting,... still friends.
Raven: Look at me, you guys! There's nothing I can do! There isn't any hope!
Robin: Then I guess, I'll just have to have enough for the both of us.
Sunset Shimmer: We can do this.
Tino Tonitini: We'll be with you till the very end.
Ash Ketchum: Yeah, us too. Let's put an end to Trigon once and for all.

(Robin gets Raven on his back, and they continue to find a way out. Meanwhile, Slade continues his fight with the guard near the door. Slade gets pinned down for a moment, but he knocks the guard into the lava. However, he is immune to the high temperature and comes back out to continue fighting Slade. He grabs Slade's fist and twists it, revealing his skeletal hand. He then punches Slade into the door.)

Guard: Your days have long since ended, mortal. Time to lie down with the rest of the mortals.
Slade: You first!

(He leaps up to perch on the door handles and pushes away as the sentry approaches; the move carries him behind, and he nimbly dodges the poleaxe swing that comes his way. His counterattack, a flying kick, slams into the guard and leaves him staggering back toward the doors. The head comes up to reveal a hole broken in the helmet, exposing the glaring left eye, and the camera pans to the poleaxe head as he warms it up again. Slade dodges two vicious swings but is hit in the gut by a third. He reels back, finds a hole smashed through his armor to expose the ribs on his left side, and collapses on his face.)

Guard: You cannot hope to defeat pure evil.
Slade: Actually, I'm not such a nice guy myself. (activates the remote control)

(The remote activates the bomb he secretly implanted on the door, which explodes and kills the guard. Then a beam of light hits Slade and in an instant, his flesh and blood slowly starts to come back. His humanity has been restored to its former glory.)

Slade: (takes a deep breath and breathes out) Ahhh. My own flesh and blood. (picks up the guard's weapon) Don't get up. I let myself out. (turns and makes his way to the surface to combat his former master)

(Back up the surface, the remaining Titans and the rest of the group are still being chased by the fire demons summoned by Trigon.)

Cyborg: Screech all you want! (fires his cannon) We're not going down without a fight!

(His shots disintegrate several of the pursuers, but their sheer numbers prove too much and all three Titans are swept out of the air, Beast Boy resuming human form as he falls.)

Beast Boy: We're going down!

(They do exactly that and hit the broken pavement very hard. As they try to clear their heads, the murderous horde dives on them. Cyborg and Starfire uncork a double fusillade that brings down a few of them, but the others sweep on through the remains.)

Littlefoot: There's just too many of those things!
Leni Loud: We can't fight them all at once!
Misty: Any ideas, Brock?
Brock: No, but we could sure use some help right about now.
Shaggy Rogers: Like, it's been nice knowin' ya, Scoob. I'm gonna miss ya!
Scooby-Doo: Me too, pal!

(What comes next is a close-up of three of Robin's discs hissing through the air and Pikachu's incoming Thunderbolt; they explode simultaneously in a huge flash that disperses the rest of the attackers. At ground level, the three Titans and other heroes stare dumbfounded for a moment before looking back over their shoulders. Sudden smiles from the boys, a joyful gasp from Starfire, and the camera cuts to a long shot of Robin and zooms in slowly. He is standing casually on a broken concrete slab, along with Ash, Tino, Shido and Sunset. The others also smile in excitement as well.)

Starfire: Robin!
Carver Descartes Tino!
Sci-Twi: Sunset!
Serena: Ash!
Tohka: Shido!
Beast Boy: Dudes! You're alive!
Lori Loud: We are so glad you're safe!
Fred Jones: Did you find Raven?
Littlefoot: Is she alright?
Ash Ketchum: We've managed to find her and rescue her. And yes, she is fine, but unfortunately, we have a bit of a problem.
Daphne Blake: Problem?
Velma Dinkley: What do you mean?

(Tino and Ash show everyone what has become of Raven as she is shaking slightly and gripping on Robin's leg. Everyone, except for Robin, Tino, Ash, Sunset, and Shido, gasp in shock.)

Cyborg: (from o.c., flabbergasted) Raven...
Serena: Wha-What happened to...?
Tohka: H-How did she...?
Tino Tonitini: It's a long story.

Heroes Vs. Villains[edit | edit source]

Trigon: (creates a time-space rift above the sky, revealing outer space) Go forth and conquer! (his fire demons fly up through the hole in the sky) One by one, worlds shall fall, until every being in this entire dimension bows down to worship Trigon the Terrible!

(On the latter part of this line, cut to a patch of lava and tilt back up to frame him as the troops swarm out through the rent in the clouds. When they have all gone, it seals itself and lightning cracks down behind him. The glare of this strike clears to show a close-up of Raven, huddling behind a fallen slab as the camera pulls back slowly. The four reunited Titans come into view during this shift.)

Cyborg: So her powers are gone? (Long shot.) She really can't help us? (Close-up: Beast Boy and Starfire.)
Beast Boy: 'Least we still got that ring of Azar thingie so Trigon can't...

(The optimistic thought dies on his lips when Starfire holds it up; shattered, on her palm.)

Beast Boy: Oh, crud.

(She lets the pieces drop; pull back to frame Robin and Cyborg.)

Robin: This is it. One final attack. Him or us. All or nothing. (kneels over to Raven) This is your story, Raven, and I'm not sure what happens next. I know it seems hopeless, but I believe when the time is right, you will know what to do.
Tino Tonitini: Rae, Trigon may have said that he isn't the one hurting your friends and he isn't the one who is making them suffer. All those things he said about you hurting us right before you became the portal, that's what he wanted you to believe. (the others nodded in agreement) But you know deep in your heart that that's not true. We all know you wouldn't use your powers to hurt your close friends and other innocent people around you. He only said all those things just to make you surrender your destiny and give him the advantage of destroying the Earth.
Ash Ketchum: Trigon knows that people can fall victim to his evil through false modesty. And he knows that people tend to blame themselves for something they wouldn't do. He relies on all of that, Rae. That's something he and Slade have in common: they both prey on that innocent confusion. It was that kind of advantage that Slade used with Terra when he forced her to side with him and betray us in the first place. And now, he did the same thing with you when he team up with your father, forced you to become the portal that allowed him to enter our dimension and destroy the world. All those things that Slade and Trigon did to you made it look like the incident with Terra was happening all over again. But in a different perspective.
Shido Itsuka: Now, this is your chance, Raven. We know you can do this. We know you can stand up to this kind of evil. Stand up for what is right. Stand up for your friends and for yourself.
Sunset Shimmer: He may think he's so powerful, Rae, but we know he has a weakness. It's his pure arrogance and overconfidence. He doesn't realize that he's underestimating his enemies and that he's underestimating you. Do you understand what we're saying?
Ash Ketchum: Don't let Trigon keep this kind of evil power over you. We've seen you do this before, Raven. And we know you'll do it again. Don't give up fighting until it's over.

(The very large stone behind the team is plucked away by the conqueror, who aims a contemptuous little sneer their way.)

Trigon: What strange vermin cower beneath my rocks?
Robin: Now!

(Four fluid motions put Beast Boy and Starfire in the air; the former turning into a falcon, and Robin and Cyborg on the jump, the former of these bringing his staff to the ready. Raven is left staring confusedly up after them.)

Trigon: I have endured your existence long enough.

(All four heroes soar toward the massive scarlet form only to be stopped in their tracks by a quadruple eye blast. Cut to a close-up of Robin, almost totally hidden within a sphere of its crackling energy, and pull back to frame the group as all yell and groan in pain. They are now floating right in front of Trigon, who lifts a palm underneath the captives as if preparing to deliver the king daddy of volleyball serves. His daughter takes a few timid steps to get a better view and make sure her eyes are not deceiving her.)

Trigon: Your world is ended! Your time is--

(Two simultaneous occurrences combine to cut off that sentence. The first is a cloud-ripping stroke of lightning; the second is a primal yell from Slade, who sails into view over Trigon's head from behind, warms up his stolen weapon, and delivers a superhuman swing. A huge flash marks its impact, after which the camera pulls back to a longer shot of the area. Slade hurtles past Trigon's face, the newly severed left antler tumbling away like so much deadwood, as the Titans begin to descend. The demon roars in pain and claps a hand to the stump; finally, Slade touches down, the antler only a moment behind. Not long after this, the four Titans hit the pavement, Beast Boy now a tiger and Starfire ready to let her hands do the talking.)

Robin: Titans! GO!!

(They do so, Cyborg readying his cannon. Cut to a long shot of Trigon's wide-planted feet and pull back to frame the rest of his silhouetted from as the fighters begin what might be their last charge. In close-up, he straightens with a rising growl and brings one colossal open hand toward the camera. Snap to black.)

(The sun rises and it's rays strike at the grand duke in his tornado form causing him to stop spinning forward start spinning in reverse until he's shrunken down to the size of a miniature owlette)

Dr. Facilier: But not me!

(He traps Tino in a cage)

Sunset Shimmer: Tino!
Lola: I'll handle it!
Dr. Facilier: Now you're going to spend the rest of your lives working with the Dazzlings!
Lola: I don't think so, Facilier! I'll take that charm of yours! (grabs the charm)
Dr. Facilier: [gasps]
Lola: And I'll smash it, too! [smashes the charm]
Dr. Facilier: No! No! Gah!! How am I going to pay back my debt! [gasps as he sees the spirits] Friends!
Spirits: ARE YOU READY?!!
Dr. Facilier: No! I’m not ready at all! In fact I’ve got lots of more plans!
Spirits: ARE YOU READY?!!
Dr. Facilier: This is just a…mindless setback and a major operation…AAA!!!… Once I look for another spell we’ll be back in business! I still got that kid and his friends locked away… I just need a little more time. [gasps] No! Don’t please no! (get's grabbed in the leg) GAH!!! Just a little more time! I’d promised I’ll pay yawl back I promise! [screams]

[A gravestone of Dr. Facilier appeared]

Brock: I'll teach you to mess with Raven!

Ash Ketchum: Now, do you see what we're saying, Raven? Trigon may have seemed to think he had won and gotten what he wanted. But there's something he failed to see through his plans. (Trigon screams in pain from everyone's attacks) He made a mistake by letting his ego personality, obsession with power, sheer arrogance and pure overconfidence get the best of him. He had every opportunity of wiping us out when he had the chance, but instead he chose not to by merely stating that rescuing you and our existence presented “no threat” to him. He has failed to realize that he inadvertently underestimated us including you. And because of that, it's leading to his ultimate downfall, which means that all of his planning for ruling the world was meaningless. Your devil of a father made you go through all of this suffering for absolutely nothing. So much for world domination. Wouldn't you think?

Raven: Get up! Robin, please! Get up!
Trigon: Farewell, dear daughter.
Ash: (gasps) No! (gets up and rushes over to defend Raven)
Pikachu: Pika, Pi!
Tino Tonitini: Ash, no!

(Ash runs over to Raven as fast as he could. And right when Trigon fires a powerful blast towards his defenseless daughter, Ash steps in front of Raven and shields her with his own body. Trigon's blast hits Ash real hard, causing him to let out a painful scream and results in a blinding explosion.)

Serena: (shielding her eyes) Ash!
Misty: No, Ash!
Brock: Oh, no!

(Tino and everyone else shields themselves from the explosion. Trigon grins maliciously, thinking he has claimed his victory now that he no longer needs Raven for his evil plans for world domination anymore. However, much to his dismay and surprise as the smoke starts the clear, his blast didn't hit his daughter, but Ash instead as he is still standing but is smoking and is badly hurt.)

Trigon: Huh?!
Ash: (pants heavily as he is smoking from the blast) Strike us down all you want, Trigon, but we cannot let you destroy her! She's your daughter! Your child! Born to you by your own flesh and blood! Don't you have any ounce of decency in you?! Don't you show any empathy towards your family at all?! Can you not see that she's defenseless and scared?! First, you tormented her into becoming the portal that led you to destroying the world, then you stripped her of her powers and regressed her into a powerless little girl, then you left her lost and alone in a horrible place with no one to protect her, and now look what you tried to do! You tried to slaughter her! You tried to slaughter her like she is nothing but a little cockroach!
Trigon: Of course, I did. This isn't a game, foolish mortal. And how dare you get in my way and criticize my authority! My daughter was born so I can destroy this world and rule the universe alone. And now, thanks to her, she has led me to your dimension as well as your extinction. I've got what I wanted and I don't need her anymore. This world now belongs to me and you and your friends have sealed your fate!
Ash: (grunts in pain) I don't care! Human extinction and world destruction wasn't what Raven wanted! It's not your place to decide what her destiny is! You don't make those decisions for her! That's not how parenting works! All those decisions you made for her were what you wanted, not what she wanted! (turns and looks at the defenseless Raven in worry; sighs and faces Trigon once more) When Raven first came to this world and joined the Teen Titans, she felt alienated from her friends. She secretly feared that none of us would like her because of her demonic features from her origins. But in time while helping protect the city from villains and monsters, she began to grow a bit more and formed connections with us. And soon, we began to understand her once we got to know her more. And because of all that, she came to view us and the Teen Titans as a family. A family that she never had before. So, it doesn't matter if she was doomed to an apocalyptical prophecy she was destined to fulfill since birth. It doesn't matter if she is part demon. And it doesn't matter if she is your daughter and you're her father. Raven is still our number one ally! Our best friend! And one of the most powerful and valuable members of the Teen Titans! We all love her very much and that makes her family! And families stay together until the very end! Even through the most impossible odds! And if you're so desperate to kill her, then you'll have to take me down! 'Cause I'm not giving up on her! Not now, not ever! I'll be standing by her side fighting for her until the end!

(Serena gets up, walks over to Ash, and grabs hold of his arm to support him from Trigon's blast. She places her hand on her heart since she's also willing to protect Raven as well. Pikachu hops onto Ash's shoulder, also willing to protect Raven too. Tino, Sunset, Shido, Scooby-Doo, Brock, Misty, and everyone else join them in protecting the defenseless Raven from her demonic evil father.)

Tino Tonitini: We got your back, Ash. (turns angrily to Trigon) We're not leaving her side either, Trigon! And we're not going down without a fight!
Sunset Shimmer: Don't you understand, Trigon? No matter what you do to knock us down with your power, you cannot stop us! You'll never destroy the power of our friendship with Raven! And you'll never destroy our universe! Our close bond with her is unbroken! Our friendship and love with her are real and we will remain with her until the end! So, if you want to kill her, then you'll have to get past all of us!
Trigon: Your speeches are so poetic, but you've only prolonged your suffering, mortals! I can assure you the only one's ending are you and this ugly dimension!
Serena: You know, it's funny, Trigon. Before you came here, Raven, her teammates, and the rest of us had a similar problem when we were dealing with an earth-bending superpowered girl who was also my best friend named Terra.
Trigon: What's that got to do with me then?
Ash Ketchum: I'm saying that both Raven and Terra have something in common: they both fell victims at the hands of the most evil villains whose bent on bringing devastation and chaos to everyone! And you and Slade are the most evil beings who have known to do that! And that is just plain sickening!
Trigon: (growls) You've got a big mouth for a puny mortal who is half dead! Go ahead! Talk about me all you want, but none of that will matter one little bit! I'd love to stay and chat, but I've got more important things to worry about than wasting my time with you! So, all of you be gone! (fires his blast at the gang once more, but suddenly, the group is protected by a hemispherical, translucent white shield; everyone gasp in wonder what could have created that barrier; they turned and realized that it was none other than Raven herself)
Raven: (confused at how she did it even though Trigon stripped her of her powers) How...?
Shido: Raven?
Sci-Twi: Did she just...?
Trigon: (to Raven) Hmm... You may have retained some trace of my power, but you are still no threat to me, little girl. I am your creator, your master. You exist only to serve me. You survive only because I allow it. What hope can a mere child have of defeating her all-powerful father?!

(Raven slumps her head down in utter dejection)

Tino Tonitini: Raven, no! Don't listen to him! He's lying! This is what he wants you to believe!
Ash Ketchum: Yeah, Rae! What he's saying is not true! He's already deceived you so many times in the past! Don't let him deceive you again!
Sunset Shimmer: Trigon was no loving father to you to begin with! Just look at him! Listen to how he's talking to you! Look around and notice the damage he's done! And look at the pain and suffering he's inflicted on your teammates! How can this giant cruel, mindless, impure-hearted behemoth with four eyes and horns be your father?!
Shido: Do you honestly believe that a cold-blooded, heartless demon like Trigon, the very monster whose slaughtered billions of innocent lives all over the galaxy including your mother and your people in Azarath, can possibly be the father of anybody, Raven?!
Brock: A father to pure evil villains! Maybe!
Misty: Or a father to Satan, of course!
Serena: Raven, Trigon never showed love and compassion to you when you were growing up! And he never showed love towards your mother, your people, and anyone else as well! All this monster could think about is creating mass destruction and bringing pain and misfortune to others! He doesn't let others survive! He just kills them all for his own amusement like how he nearly tries to kill us! Even you! So, are you just gonna sit there and-and let that monster get away with all the unforgiving things he's done?! Huh?! Are you?!
Ash Ketchum: You've rotted in Trigon's shadow for far too long, Raven! Well, now here's your chance! Your chance to fight back! Let go of your fear of him and show him what you're made of! Show him who's the strongest and who's the weakest! Do it, now!
Pikachu: Pikachu!

(The thin eyebrows on either side of the gem set in Raven's forehead suddenly lower as he mouths twists down into a grimace of the purest anger. Finally making up her mind after a long hesitation, she opens her eyes to stare her father full on. White light pours from the sockets, the same that emerged during the flashback of Trigon's arrival in the prologue.)

Raven: (standing up, with a light shining around her head) They're right. You may have created me...

(The halo expands to fill the entire screen and subsides to give an overhead shot of the shoreline. As Trigon backs up a bit in genuine fear, the blinding sphere grows again and detonates in a terrific flash. When the view clears, the camera has cut to a close-up of her feet, but the style of the white boots has changed to match those worn by Raven at her normal age. Tilt up to frame all of her; she is now fully herself again, but her hair has grown out very long as it did in the climax of "Birthmark." The white light from her eyes has shifted to her hands.)

Raven: ...but you were never my father.

(Without even a trace of effort, she puts her hands together and fires a broad beam directly into Trigon's solar plexus, driving him back toward the shore.)

Ash Ketchum: Yes!
Pikachu: Pika!
Sunset Shimmer: Atta girl!
Tino Tonitini: Get him, Rae! You can do it!
Shido: Go, Raven!
Serena: We believe in you!

(Ground level: Robin begins to pry himself up from the pavement, and the others do likewise as Raven's feet pound past them. Slow pan across the four, now getting to their feet and thoroughly perplexed, then pull back to frame the six combatants in an overhead shot. Trigon has turned away from the reunited Titans, but now swivels to face the approaching Raven with a look of the clearest hate.)

Trigon: Wretched, insignificant... (gets blasted forward before he finishes)
Raven: (continuously blasts him) Fathers are kind! Fathers protect you! Fathers raise you! (blasts him with one fatal attack which left him immobilized and straining against the crackling energy that has begun to run up and down his body) I was protected by the monks of Azarath. (the Teen Titans appear around her) I was raised by my friends.

(Trigon screams in pain as he drops to his knees)

Ash Ketchum: Your oversized ego, sheer arrogance, and overconfidence has proved to be your undoing, Trigon! That's what's making you weak! Raven, finish him!
Tino Tonitini: Destroy your so-called father once and for all!
Sunset Shimmer: Go for it!

(Everyone including the Teen Titans gather their energy and pass it over to Raven.)

Raven: (absorbs everyone's energy) They are my family. This is my home. And you are not welcome here! (rises in the air and prepares to deliver the final blow)
Tino Tonitini and Ash Ketchum: Now, Raven!
Everyone: DO IT!!!!
Raven: Azarath Metrion Zinthos!

(The light fills the screen and forms into her "soul-self"; pure white rather than black, rearing up in Trigon's face and growing so large that it dwarfs even him. He is slowly and steadily swallowed up by the blinding radiance, finally voicing a scream more agonized that any he has ever been able to force from the throats of his victims. The light forms into a wide column that rapidly spreads outward over the city and the Titans, and when it clears away, the urban center has been restored to its proper, un-ravaged condition. Clear blue sky, buildings and streets as they should be, the team's favorite pizza joint standing in all its angular glory behind them.)

(The wave passes elsewhere in the city, reviving the petrified bystanders Robin found early in Part Two, and one final burst restores the bay and the Tower. Now all of Jump City is back together, and no trace of Trigon or Raven's white "soul-self" is present over the skyline. As in Part One, Act One, it is a beautiful day.)

(Cut to Raven, still in midair and ringed by that brilliant white corona; tilt down to follow her descent as it fades away. Each speaker moves up in turn.)

Starfire: Raven, that was...
Cyborg: Unbelievable.
Raven: No, it wasn't. (hugs Robin) Somebody believed.
Robin: Welcome back.

(Everyone cheers)

Tino Tonitini: Alright!!
Ash Ketchum: YEAH!!!
Shido: You did it, Rae!
Sunset Shimmer: We knew you could do it!
Serena: You were wonderful!
Brock: You were so brave!
Lynn Loud: That was awesome, dude!
Lisa Loud: Superb job, I should say!
Luna Loud: You rock, Raven!
Lori and Leni Loud: You go, girl!
Lincoln Loud: You were so cool!
Lucy Loud: You were real deep.
Lana Loud: You were amazing, Rae!
Lola Loud: You rule!
Shaggy Rogers: Like you were awesome!
Scooby-Doo: Yeah, awesome! (giggles)
Ash Ketchum: You've made us all very proud. (Raven heals Ash from Trigon's attack and gets hugged by her)
Raven: Thank you for saving my life and for that inspiring speech. (turns to Tino and the gang) And thank you all. Your will to sacrifice yourselves for me has given me the courage to stand up to Trigon and restore the world. I'm deeply grateful for everything you've done for me and I am in debt to you for your bravery.

(Everyone gathers Raven for a group hug, leaving the Titans except for Robin stunned.)

Beast Boy: Okay, you're freaking me out here! The white robe and smile are weird enough, but hugs? Are you still....you?
Raven: Blue is still my favorite color. And don't get used to the smile... (It disappears in a flash.) ...'cause you're still not funny.
Beast Boy: Huh? (quickly hugs her) Raven!

(Everyone smiles)

Raven: Quit it.

(Everyone then laughs with joy and happiness)

(At the Titans Tower)

Cyborg: All right, yo! Four eyes and the villains are history, his ghoulies are gone, and we just saved the whole dang universe!
Lincoln Loud: And now, we get to celebrate our victory for this fight.
Cyborg: You got that right, Lincoln! Now, who wants French toast?
Starfire: Oh, yes, me please! I shall consume them with gravy and the butter of peanuts!
Beast Boy: And I've got enough tofu bacon for anybody who wants it.
Cyborg: So, just enough for you?
Beast Boy: Exactly.
Starfire: (takes the bacon and places them on her head) Observe: I am a rofien zobgar! (laughs)

(Beast Boy, Cyborg, and the others pause for a minute)

Sci-Twi: What did you say?
Starfire: On my planet, this is hilarious.
Sci-Twi: Oh! (laughs)

(Everyone else joins in)

Raven: Slade got away?
Tino Tonitini: Yes, he did.
Robin: If he ever shows his face again, we'll be ready.
Raven: How do you do it, guys?
Ash Ketchum: Do what?
Raven: Keep hoping. After everything that happened, everything I did, how did you still manage to hope it could all work out?
Robin: Because of you. You don't realize it, Raven, but you're actually the most hopeful person I've ever met. From the day you were born, they said you were evil, that you were created to do unspeakable things. But you wished for more. You dared to hope that you could be a hero.
Raven: I thought it was all over, and now suddenly....
Robin: You have your whole life ahead of you. You can decide your own destiny.
Sunset Shimmer: Besides, you don't have to let other people do it for you.
Ash: That's right. Only you can decide.
Tino Tonitini: Don't let anyone else decide what you should do, Rav. It's your choice, not anyone else's.
Raven: I guess in the end...there really is no end. Just new beginnings. (turns to her friends) So what's the deal? Are we having a party in here, or not? (joins her friends)
Starfire: Glorious! Let's partake in the eating of earthly breakfast foods!
Beast Boy: Sure we have enough tofu bacon?
Cyborg: Very nice.

[a cut with the words the end are shown]

Patrick: Hey, what happened? Why are those squiggles on the screen?
SpongeBob: Those are called 'End Credits', Patrick.
Patrick: End credits? But I don't want it to end!
SpongeBob: That's why Neptune gave us the rewind button! [SpongeBob Pushes a button]
Patrick: Thank you Neptune!

(THE END)
