Prologue - A letter from Ariel

(The scene opens at the Great Valley, Littlefoot is in an exciting hurry because today is going to be a special day for him as he and his grandparents meet up with Pooh, Ash, Simba, Sora Tai, Twilight, and the others.)

• Littlefoot: Hey, guys!
• Winnie the Pooh: Hello, Littlefoot. How have you been?
• Littlefoot: Great! Actually, I'm really excited for this weekend!
• Ash Ketchum: Excited? For what?
• Littlefoot: Look at this letter I got!

(Littlefoot shows them the letter Twilight uses her magic to hold and reads it.)

• Twilight Sparkle: [mutters] It's from Ariel! Littlefoot, she accepted your invitation and to come visit you this weekend!
• Korra: Wait, Ariel's coming to visit Littlefoot?
• Littlefoot: Yeah! I'm finally gonna get to spend some quality time with her!
• Misty: Wow, Littlefoot, that's fantastic!
• Fluttershy: Oh, sounds like you two are so close!
• Grandpa Longneck: (giggles) Yes, our Littlefoot does have a strong bond with Ariel in the past.
• Grandma Longneck: There's one thing they do have in common they both lost their mothers in tragic disasters.
• Cera: Not to mention they both love going on adventures.
• Goofy: Gawrsh, it sounds like you two haven't seen each other for a long time.

Discovering the Truth/A taste of his own medicine

• Discord: To the ends of the earth! To face such great danger! And He did it for me! He did it all for me, for me, for me! [laughs]

(Discord stopped dancing and notices Ariel and Littlefoot giving him a serious angry look on their faces that it was worth for nothing.)

• Littlefoot: So, you were only pretending to be sick...this whole time?!
• Discord: I was! But I had a very good reason.

(Littlefoot gives Discord a serious look when he waves his flags and notices that Littlefoot is still not amused.)

• Discord: Why the angry eyes? You love passing tests. It's not because my little exam put a damper on your visit with Ariel, is it? Made it so that there was no time for you two to focus on your friendship?
• Ariel: Actually Discord, you didn't put a damper on our visit at all.
• Littlefoot: He didn't?!
• Discord: I didn't?!
• Ariel: Exploring the Great Valley, would've been more relaxing. But to be honest, relaxation is the last thing I need.
• Littlefoot: It is?
• Ariel: Don't get me wrong. Life in Eric's kingdom is wonderful, but it's become a little... predictable. I enjoy a little excitement now and then. Getting to face all these challenges today was just what I needed. And I sure do miss those days when I was a mermaid. And facing them with you just made me realize even more how lucky I am to have very special longneck like you as a friend Littlefoot.
