The Irelanders' Super Adventures of Zog and the Flying Doctors/Transcript
This is the script for The Irelanders' Super Adventures of Zog and the Flying Doctors.
[The film begins with a blue sky as we zoom down to a castle then changes to two doves on the windowsill. Inside a room, dolls of a girl, a dog and a horse are all bandaged up. Toy medical stuff lies across the floor. A young Pearl is bandaging her teddy bear]
Young Pearl: (hums and giggles)
[A guard smiles warmly at the sight but stand to attention as the King who is Pearl's uncle, walk into the room. Pearl looks up to him with a smile and he bends down and tip her nose]
King: Boop. He-he.
Young Pearl: Boop. (giggles)
King: Huh?
[The King looks at Pearl's bandaged teddy, puzzled]
Young Pearl: I want to be a doctor and travel here and there, listening to people's chests and giving them my care.
King: Huh? Hmm.
[He took the teddy from Pearl and pull at it's leg. Pearl gasps and snatch it, fearing that he'II tear it]
Young Pearl: We doctors must help everyone who needs us. It's our duty.
King: Hmm!
[Later, the King carries Pearl through the hall by the hand where portraits of previous rulers hung on the wall]
King: Your duty is to wear the crown and be a royal beauty. (chuckles)
[He place Pearl in front of an empty portrait and put his crown on her head. He step back for a look]
King: Oh! (chuckles)
Young Pearl: (sighs in a humph)
[The scene changes to Pearl, now older, riding through the sky on Zog the dragon with Sir Gadabout as the title "The Irelanders' Super Adventures of Zog and the Flying Doctors" comes up. The trio flies above some woods]
Narrator: Meet the Flying Doctors. A dragon, knight and girl.
[Pearl, Zog and Gadabout flies down to a clearing where animals gathered around and watch with amazement. Zog lands on a log which rolls, making him, Pearl and Gadabout fall off]
Zog, Pearl and Gadabout: Whoa!
Animals: (cringes)
Pearl: (giggles) Our names are...
Gadabout: Gadabout the Great!
Zog: And Zog.
Pearl: And Princess Pearl.
Mole: (sneezes)
Connor Lacey: Looks like you three have a busy day ahead of you.
Pearl: Oh. Hey, Connor. Been a long time, hasn't it?
Connor Lacey: It sure has, Pearl.
Twilight Sparkle: How are you three keeping since we rescue Whale from the beach and attending Starlight, Trixie, Discord and Thorax's hero party?
Zog: We're doing great, Twilight. And Pearl's doctor career is turning out to be quite a success.
Lightning McQueen: Yeah and it sure looks like you have quite a lot of patients to take care of.
Dusty Crophopper: Looks like it.
Korra: So you three must be Zog, Pearl and Gadabout we've heard about. I'm the Avatar.
Gadabout: You are very much correct, m'lady.
Korra: Thanks. I'm Korra and this is Mako, Bolin and Asami.
Starlight Glimmer: Starlight Glimmer.
Trixie: I am the Great and Powerful Trrrrrixie. Though you can just call me Trixie, if you prefer.
Pearl: It's nice to meet you all.
Discord: They're from Republic City which is in fact another world.
Zog: Another world?
Leonardo: That's right, Zog. Connor and few of us met them when Linda uses a dimensional getaway to suck them into their world but they help them get back home.
Teacher: I find that a bit surprising when they came here.
Gruffalo: So did we, eh, daughter?
Gruffalo's Child: Yes, Dad.
Gadabout: That is interesting. I never know there's another world besides the 16 realms.
Mako: Well, now you know.
Ash Ketchum: Yeah. We'II explain more details along the way.
Pikachu: Pika.
Fluttershy: Say, Pearl, any chance we can help you with the patients? I open up an animal sanctuary back in Equestria to help animals recover.
Pearl: Of course, Fluttershy. Zog, Gadabout and I need all the help we can get now that you're here.
Chris Kratt: Taking care of creatures is all part of being The Wild Kratts crew.
Martin Kratt: That's right, bro.
Dog: We're at your service, mi'lady. (bows)
Pearl: (giggles with amusement)
[Later, all the animals gathered in a line for treatment. Pearl mixes some medicine then gives it to a wolf who cringes in disgust at the taste]
Narrator: Pearl gives people medicine and pills and vaccinations.
[The wolf suddenly feels better then heads off. Gadabout is bandaging a deer's leg]
Narrator: And Gadabout is an expert in performing operations.
[He sees the bandage is too long and cuts a bit off with his sword]
Witch: Well, at least he's using his sword to good use.
Misty: Yeah. Especially since he's not a knight any more.
Kion: Then it's a good thing we offered to help because after all, it is part of the Circle of Life.
Blythe Baxter: Kion's right.
[Zog comes over to Pearl who gives him a bucket. He flies over a lake and uses it to fill it with water]
Zog: Whoo!
Narrator: Zog is good at flying....
Zog: Whoo-hoo!
[Zog sees a tree ahead and dodges out of the way but is unable to avoid the second one and crashes into it, sending him tumbling through the trees and into Gadabout knocking him down. Zog lands flat on his face with the bucket still full in his hands]
Zog: Oof!
Narrator: Though not quite so good at landing.
[Pearl comes over and takes the bucket from Zog. Gadabout comes over glaring]
Narrator: But Gadabout and Princess Pearl, along with the Irelanders, Ash and their friends are always understanding.
Gadabout: (holding his stethoscope) Grrrrr.
Korra: Does Zog often lands like that?
Bob Parr/Mr Incredible: Pretty much, yeah. But who can blame him? What he lacks in his landing skills, he makes up for in his flying skills.
Iago: He has his fair share of clumsiness like crashing into a tree while learning to fly, make his throat grew hoarse by roaring too much. burn his wing tip with his fire breath and failing to capture a princess.
Zog: OK, Iago, I get it. No need to bring up embarrassing parts of my life.
Stick Man: But let's not forget that Pearl help Zog out by offering herself to be captured since she used to be a princess so that he finally earned a golden star.
Bolin: Wow. That's quite a story for a dragon.
Mouse: I know.
Trixie: But I'm puzzled. If you're used to be a princess, why do you want to be a doctor instead?
Pearl: Well, Trixie, I wanted to travel here and there, listening to people's chests and giving them my care. I don't like being a princess and prancing about the palace in a silly frilly dress.
Mako: So, you choose to follow your dream despite your background with Zog helping you I'm guessing.
Pearl: Exactly, Mako.
Gadabout: I want to be a doctor as well since I'm not very good at being a knight very much. I rather wear a nice twisty stethoscope instead. Too bad Zog has to dent it.
Zog: Sorry about that.
Snail: It was an accident. We'II fix it back up.
Frog: And make sure it's still clean and not dirty. Ugh.
Asami: Well, Pearl, if you want to be a doctor instead of being a princess, that's fine by us.
Korra: I agree. Everyone should choose what they want to do regardless of their backgrounds.
Pearl: Very true, Korra. Very true. Thanks for understanding.
Violet Parr: We better get back to work.
The Mask: She's right. We've got a lot of animals to take care of.
[He zooms off. The scene changes to the heroes flying over a beach on Zog, in the Tortuga and Rocket]
Narrator: Flying high one morning, they heard a mermaid wail.
Mermaid: (wails)
Pearl: Oh.
Zog: Hmm?
Serena: Did you guys hear that?
Aviva Corcovado: Yeah. Look down there!
[Everyone looks to see a sunburned mermaid crying on a rock]
Mermaid: I'm sunburned and it hurts!
Narrator: She cried and swished her scaly tail.
Mermaid: (sobs)
[Two seals cover their ears]
Pearl: Huh.
Melody: That poor mermaid! We have to help her!
Capper: Yeah. She's been out in the sun far too long.
Mushu: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get down there!
[They fly down to the water. Both the Tortuga and Rocket land just fine as Whale and Bucky the pirate ship rolls up but Zog crashes like always]
Narrator: Bang, crash, bump, they landed.
[Pearl jumps onto a rock though Zog and Gadabout crash into a rock, much to the mermaid's confusion]
Gadabout: Aaaah! Ow!
Irelanders: Ooooh!
Mermaid: Huh?
[Pearl hops across the rocks to the mermaid. Whale and the Irelanders arrived]
Whale: Don't worry, miss. We'll soon have you on the mend.
Captain Jake: Are you guys okay over there?
[Zog gets up knocking Gadabout off his back into the water, much to his dismay]
Gadabout: (yelps)
Zog: Hm?
Gadabout: (grumbles)
Green Bird: Zog, perhaps you should let Gadabout get off you first before you stand up next time. Alright?
Zog: Got it.
Brock: Now, let's see to this mermaid.
Mermaid: (sobs)
Narrator: The mermaid's skin was red.
Pearl: Oh.
Orange Boy: You've really been out in the sun too long.
Aya: Indeed. Sun burn is natural and can be caused by staying in the sun too long. I recommend sun cream for this one.
Pearl: Good thing I have some in my bag.
[Pearl opens her bag and takes out some sun cream, then puts it on the mermaid's arms and back]
Narrator: Pearl rubbed in some special cream.
Pearl: Mm-hm.
Mermaid: Mmm!
[The mermaid sniffs the cream and Pearl puts some on her nose]
Pearl and Mermaid: (chuckles)
[Pearl reaches into her bag and pulls out a sunhat]
Pearl: And wear this hat.
Narrator: She said.
Mermaid: Ugh.
Pearl: Oh.
Rarity: Hold on. I know how to fix this.
[Rarity levitates the hat with her magic and puts a starfish on it, much to the mermaid's delight]
Mermaid: Mmm.
Jiminy Cricket: Well, another fashion crisis averted. Nice touch with the starfish, Rarity.
Rarity: Well it was clear that the hat was missing something sea-worthy, darling.
[Frog hops over and rub the hat to make it clean, much to the mermaid's confusion]
Zoe Trent: One thing you ought to know about Frog, darling, is he likes things to be clean.
Frog: That's right. I'm as clean as can be. I don't like dirty stuff. Ugh!
Connor Lacey: But, Frog, that hat's already clean.
Frog: Just checking to be sure.
Cat: (meows, rolling his eyes)
[Meanwhile, Gadabout is shaking his hat dry. On a nearby rock, a crab chases and attacks a snail. Zog picks up, looks it then throws it away. The crab grabs Gadabout's nose and he yanks it off]
Gadabout: Ugh! Aaah!
Koki: (sighs) Zog, be careful where you throw things!
Jackie Chan: Yeah, that crab pinched Gadabout's nose!
Buzzie: Yeah, you really have to watch where you throw stuff.
Snail: At least Zog takes care of that crab from my brethren. Hm.
[Pearl closes her bag and she and Gadabout get on Zog's back while the Irelanders and Snail get in the Tortuga, Rocket, Bucky the pirate ship and Whale]
Gadabout: (grumbles)
Mermaid: Thank you, doctor Princess Pearl.
Narrator: The mermaid waved goodbye as the team of Flying Doctors sped away into the sky.
[The heroes flies over treetops in a forest]
Narrator: As the sun rose higher, they saw a unicorn. He pawed the ground and whinnied.
Unicorn: (whinnies) I've grown an extra horn!
Starlight Glimmer: That's strange. Unicorns don't usually have two horns.
Jimmy Z: That is kinda weird.
Thorn: We'd better get down there and help him!
Pearl: Oh. Hmm-mm.
Zog: Eh?
[Zog flies down to the unicorn, who cringes as a woodpecker pecks at the tree stuck on his two horns. He hears a crash and sees Pearl, Gadabout and Zog picking themselves up]
Gadabout: Grrr.
Narrator: Bang, crash, bump! They landed.
Zog: (groans) Hmm?
Spike: (sighs) Zog really needs to work on his landings.
Iron Man: Yeah. Perhaps we ought to give him landing lessons but first let's take care of this unicorn.
[They walk up to the unicorn]
Gadabout: Hmm.
Pearl: Hmm.
Rarity: Good day, sir. We are the Flying Doctors and we're here to sort out this extra horn problem of yours.
Will Vandom: Hmm. Looks like we'll have to move that tree first.
Zog: (gasps)
[Zog runs up, bumping into Gadabout. The unicorn backs up frightened. Zog grabs the tree and pulls as hard as he can until the tree comes loose and Zog falls his bottom]
Zog: Ah.
Unicorn: Huh? Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha.
Bunga: Ha. That was too easy.
Fuli: Ah, maybe so, Bunga.
Zog: Hmm.
[Zog stands proudly until the unicorn comes back with another tree stuck on his second horn]
Zog: Hmm?
Unicorn: (groaning)
Leonardo: Well, that didn't work.
Elsa: It looks like every time the unicorn gets free, he just keep getting another tree stuck to him.
Hiro: If only there's a way to solve the problem permanently.
Gadabout: (sighs) I'll help you.
Narrator: Said the knight.
[Gadabout walk up to the unicorn and raises his sword]
Unicorn: Aah!
[Luckily, Gadabout taps his second horn gently and saws it off with his sword. The second horn and the tree fall to the ground and Gadabout puts a plaster on the unicorn's snout]
Narrator: And he cut the horn off gently to the unicorn's delight.
Unicorn: (chuckles) Thank you, bold Sir Gadabout for taking so much care.
Gadabout: (chuckles while bowing) Hah.
Zog: Hmph.
Gruffalo: Hey, cheer up, Zog. You have your moments as well.
Ono: Indeed. I have a feeling Zog and Gadabout are having a rivalry with each other and don't get along much.
Pinkie: Yeah, you could be right about that but still I like to see my friends smile.
The Mask: Yeah. Well, we'd better get going. Who knows how many more sick patients are out there.
Good Fairy: Mask is right. Take care, Mr. Unicorn!
[The heroes head off]
Narrator: And the team of Flying Doctors sped away into the air.
[Later, the heroes fly over mountain tops]
Narrator: Half way through the afternoon, they heard a lion sneeze.
Lion: (sneezes)
[A squirrel looks at the lion then puts it's nut down and runs off frightened]
Lion: I've caught the flu.
Narrator: The lion roared.
Lion: Can someone help me please?
Zog and Gadabout: Oof!
[The lion hears a crash and sees Zog and Gadabout picking themselves up. The Irelanders arrive]
Narrator: Bang, crash, thump! They landed.
Lion: (growls)
Kion: Don't be alarmed, your highness. We're not here to fight. We're here to help.
[Pearl approaches the lion]
Teacher: Be careful, Pearl. He might be dangerous.
Aisling: Don't worry, miss. Pearl knows what she's doing.
Pearl: (chuckles)
[Pearl strokes the lion's nose]
Lion: Awww.
Pearl: (chuckles)
[Pearl takes out a tongue presser and the lion opens his mouth]
Lion: Aaaah.
Pearl: Oh. Hmmm.
[She puts the tongue presser in the lion's mouth]
Pearl: Hmmm.
Narrator: Then Pearl said...
Pearl: Take this pill.
[She puts the pill in the lion's mouth]
Korra: Whoa. How did she do that?
Razer: Clearly, she saw the lion was being careful not to hurt her.
Misty: Hopefully that pill she gave him helps.
[Pearl goes in the cave with the lion]
Pearl: And do keep warm. That's terribly important when you're ill.
[The lion lays down and shivers]
Lion: (shivers)
Narrator: But the lion's cave was chilly so Zog said...
Zog: (gasps) Fetch some wood.
Gadabout: Huh?
Pearl: Mm.
Jack Skellington: Looks like we're gonna help you get some wood, Gadabout.
Zero: (barks)
Gadabout: (gripes)
[Gadabout heads off. Later wood is placed on the floor of the cave and Zog breathes fire on it, setting it alight]
Narrator: Then, he breathed out lots of flames until the fire burned bright and good.
Lion: Thank you, noble dragon, I'm feeling nice and warm.
Zog: (chuckles while bowing)
[Zog heads off out of the cave, whacking Gadabout with his tail in the process]
Gadabout: Aah!
Marinette Dupain-Cheng: (giggles)
[They fly away]
Narrator: Then the team of Flying Doctors sped away into the storm.
[Rain pours down and lightning strikes as the heroes struggle through the heavy wind. A bolt of lightning startles Gadabout]
Gadabout: Aah!
Marinette Dupain-Cheng: Relax, Gadabout. Just a bit of lightning. Nothing to be scared of.
Zog: (straining)
[They dodge two lightning strikes then almost get hit with another]
Bumblebee (Transformers: Prime/RID): Phew. Thank Primus. That was a close one.
Witch: We've got to get out of this storm.
Beshte: Well, we might be doing that sooner than you think, Witch. Cause I can see daylight ahead.
Narrator: As evening fell, they saw a great big palace down below.
Pearl: My uncle's house.
Narrator: Said Princess Pearl.
Gadabout: (shivers)
Zog: (pants)
Mewtwo: I think Zog's getting tired, Pearl. Maybe we should land and rest.
Pearl: Let's go and say hello.
Gadabout: Aah!
Witch: Down!
[They fly down to the castle. The Tortuga and Rocket land just fine though Zog crashes like always and crashes into the statue of the King, knocking it to the ground]
Narrator: Bang, crash, thump! They landed.
Zog and Gadabout: Whoaaaaaa!
[Inside, the King is posing for a sculptor sculpting another statue of him when he hears the statue shattering outside. He goes outside and is surprised by what he finds]
King: Huh? (gasps)
Zog: (groans then gasps) Pearl's uncle is the king!
Gadabout: (sighs)
Iris: We can see that, Zog.
Axew: Axew.
Gruffalo's Child: He doesn't look happy to see us though.
Kim Possible: Especially if he finds out that we broke his statue.
Narrator: He didn't say hello.
Pearl: (chuckles sheepishly while waving)
Narrator: Instead, he said...
King: You naughty thing! (walks down the steps to Pearl) Where have you been?!
Narrator: He thundered.
King: You look an awful mess. What's happened to your crown? And where's you pretty frilly dress?
Stephen: Well, that wasn't much of a family reunion now, was it?
Girl with braces: You can say that again, Stephen.
Annie: Yeah, looks like the King doesn't agree with Pearl's doctor career.
Misty: Obviously.
Black Dog: (growls)
Fluttershy: It's okay, little guy. Zog's a friendly dragon.
Jimmy Z: I think he's growling at all of us.
Pearl: Hee-hee. But, uncle, can't you see that I'm a doctor now?
Narrator: Said Pearl. The king replied...
King: Princesses can't be doctors, silly girl.
Pearl: (chuckles)
[Pearl grabs her uncle's arm but he yanks it away]
King: Seize her! (as two guards grab Pearl and escort her away) Don't let go of her! Now, lock her up inside!
[Guards surround Zog, Gadabout and the Irelanders and attack. Zog grabs Gadabout and flies away with the Tortuga and Rocket in tow]
Connor (Thomas and Friends): That was close! But we can't leave Pearl!
Gruffalo: Hey, wait a minute. Has anyone seen Mouse?
[Meanwhile, a guard throws Pearl in her room and shuts the door. He locks it as the King watches. Inside, Pearl tries to get out to no avail]
Pearl: Let me go!
Narrator: Called Princess Pearl. She stamped and stormed and cried.
Pearl: (sobs)
Mouse: Well, that could gone worse.
Pearl: Mouse? How did you get in here? And without my uncle seeing you?
Mouse: Well, I stowed away in your pocket while he wasn't looking and here I am.
Pearl: Well, I'm glad that you're here, Mouse. I could use some company while I'm stuck here for a while, forced to be a princess.
Mouse: Hopefully the others will come and rescue us soon.
[The scene changes to the next morning]
Narrator: Time went by and Princess Pearl and Mouse spent many weary hours, sowing pretty cushions and arranging pretty flowers.
Pearl: (sighing) Oh.
Governess: (clears throat)
Pearl: Hm?
[Pearl looks at the Governess who glares at her]
Governess: Hmm.
Mouse: (to himself unnoticed) So that's Pearl's governess.
Pearl: Ugh.
[They hear the door unlock and the King enters, eating a chicken leg which he throws to the guard. He walk over to the cupcake rack and picks one up. He eats it and goes over to the window]
King: Hm?
Dove: (coos)
[The king shares the cupcake with the dove]
Mouse: He really seems to like doves so much.
Pearl: Ugh.
[Outside, Zog flies toward the palace again. He saw Pearl waving at him from the window but almost crashes into the turret roof. He grabs a spire but it bends and breaks off, sending Zog falling to the ground]
Zog: Oof!
Irelanders: Ooooh!
[Gadabout shakes his head and gets out a frog. Inside, Mouse and Princess Pearl try to pick the lock but the hairclip bends]
Pearl: Ooh!
Mouse: Well, that didn't work.
Pearl: (gasps) It's the Governess. Hide.
[Mouse hides as the Governess comes in. She sets a book down on the table but accidentally cuts herself in the process]
Governess: (winces)
Mouse: Oooh. That looks nasty.
Pearl: Hmm.
[Pearl took a rose, a cream bottle and a cup then uses the cup to mix a drop of the flower and the cream together. She puts some on her finger then spreads it on the wound to the governess' delight]
Governess: Ahh.
[Mouse smiles. Outside, Gadabout uses two frogs to climb the wall to a window]
Gadabout: (chuckles)
[Unfortunately, a female guard opens the window, hitting Gadabout. She looks around but sees nothing then goes back in. Gadabout falls to the ground though Zog tries to catch him but misses]
Irelanders: Oooh!
Rainbow Dash: Well, that didn't work.
Boots: Now what are we gonna do?
Witch: I could try fly up to the tower on my broomstick.
Iago: We might as well give it a shot.
Aviva Corcovado: We'II be on the lookout for any guards.
Cat: (meows)
Witch: Thanks, everyone.
[She tap her broomstick and took into the sky. She fly back towards the castle and approaches the tower where Pearl and Mouse are being held when two guards spot her and shoot arrows at her]
Witch: Whoa! Down!
[She flew to the ground]
Teacher: Okay, back to the drawing board.
Connor Lacey: I wonder how Mouse and Pearl are doing with their escape plans?
Martin Kratt: Hopefully they have better luck than us.
[Inside, Mouse and Pearl try to climb up the chimney but fall back down. Pearl stands up and dusts herself off]
Mouse: Well, that didn't work either.
Governess: (clears her throat)
[Mouse hides. Pearl looks to see the Governess glaring at her again though her look turns sympathetic seconds later as she holds up a cat which sneezes]
Cat: (sneezes)
Pearl: Hmmm. (gasps)
Mouse: Uh, I better stay hidden in case that cat will chase me after it gets better.
[Pearl grabs a medicine bottle and a lemon and mixing it in a cauldron over a candle. She gives a spoonful to the cat who licks it clean and they smile. Outside, the King is feeding a biscuit to a dove when he hears giggling]
King: Huh?
[He goes into the room to find the Governess and Pearl reading together]
King: Hmm. (looks at his hand which is orange with spots) Huh?
Pearl: Oh.
Mouse: Huh? That's weird.
[Meanwhile, Mushu and Stick Man sneak into the castle by a small space]
Mushu: Ah, that's too easy.
Stick Man: Let's just find Pearl and Mouse and get out of here.
Cri-Kee: (chitters)
[As they crept through the hallways looking for Pearl's room, a guard spotted them]
Guard: (gasps)
Mushu: (gulps and chuckles nervously) Hey there. We're just wanting to have a look around here so we'II just go back this way if you don't mind.
Stick Man: Yeah. Bye.
[They run away out of the castle with the guard chasing them out]
Guard: And stay out!
Mushu: Well, that wasn't easy as I thought.
Stick Man: Yeah, so now what?
Sunil: (in Rex's voice) Maybe if we can find some balloons, we can float to the top.
Korra: Uh, they wouldn't be able to hold us all, we'd fall to our deaths!
Russel: (in Mr Potato Head's voice) Yeah. Are you kidding? I say we stack ourselves up, knock on the door and pretend we're delivering a pizza.
Mack: (in Hamm's voice) How about a ham sandwich with fries and a hot dog?
Snail: What about me?
Mack: You can be the toy comes with the meal.
Sunset Shimmer: Uh, ahem? (gestures to the still open door bridge) Or we could just charge in, take out the guards one by one then break the door down.
Bob Parr/Mr Incredible: That might work.
Ash Ketchum: You heard Princess Celestia's former student! CHARGE!!!!!
Pikachu: Pika!
[The heroes charge to the door bridge]
Narrator: The others tried to rescue her with all all their might and mane.
Black Dog: (growls and barks)
Guard: Oh!
[A guard shuts the door bridge and the heroes fall in the moat]
Everyone: Aaaaah!
Narrator: But they simply couldn't manage. All their efforts were in vain.
Lightning McQueen: Aw, man! That was just great!
Dusty Crophopper: (sighs) We'II never get Pearl and Mouse out of her uncle's castle.
Ron Stoppable: Yeah, it's hopeless. We're never gonna see em again.
Applejack: Hey, come on, now. Don't be such downers.
Leonardo: Yeah. Besides, there is one way we can still see Pearl and Mouse despite their predicament.
Gruffalo's Child: How?
Leonardo: We'II climb up to her windowsill to see her at night.
Captain Jake: Uh, that's gonna be tricky, Leo. With all the guards around, it'll be impossible.
Leonardo: We're gonna have to try. We ninjas can sneak into places unnoticed at night.
Thorn: Well, I suppose we can give it a try but don't blame us if we get caught.
Donatello: Got it. But first we gotta find a spot out of the guards' view.
Discord: Yeah, he's got a point there.
Green Bird: I hope Pearl and Mouse are alright.
Connor Lacey: Me too.
Pearl: (sighs) Oh. (looks out of the window) Hmmm.
[The governess goes to leave the room then notices Pearl's sad expression]
Governess: Huh?
Pearl: (sighs)
Mouse: (trying to looking on the bright side) Hey, cheer up, Pearl. Things may be dull right now but we'll find a way. I'm sure of it.
White Cat: (meows)
Pearl: (gasps and giggles)
[Pearl picks up the cat then sees the key on it's collar]
Pearl: (gasps)
Mouse: The key!
[Pearl holds the key in her hand then realizing that the Governess wants her and Mouse to be free, she smiles. Later, she unlocks the door and she and Mouse peak out to see if the coast is clear]
Pearl: Here, ride on my shoulder.
Mouse: Okay.
[Mouse gets on Pearl's shoulder. Two guards walk past in a hallway. Pearl and Mouse sneak by and see the open door ahead of them]
Mouse: The door's open! We're home free!
King: (weak moaning)
Pearl: Huh?
Mouse: That's your uncle. He doesn't sound too good.
[Pearl and Mouse look inside the King's room to find him laying in bed, moaning weakly. They go in and see the King squirming in pain as he sleeps]
Pearl: (gasps)
Mouse: Oh, dear. He's sick.
[Pearl turns to leave the room but stops. She looks between her uncle and the door then puts on a look of determination]
Mouse: Pearl, what are you doing? This is our chance to escape.
Pearl: I know, Mouse. But my uncle's health is more important than my freedom. He needs my help.
Mouse: Even after he doesn't accept your choice of being a doctor?
Pearl: Yes. But he's still my family and I can't let him die.
Mouse: Well, Pearl, if you want to cure your uncle, that's fine by me. I'II help you.
Pearl: Thank you. Now let's get to work.
[Later, Pearl changes into her doctor's outfit and lights a candle. She goes over to the book shelf and puts some books on the floor. As she and Mouse read through them, Zog, Gadabout and the Irelanders arrive at the window]
Narrator: Each night, they flew to visit them and perched upon their sill.
Spike: Hey, guys. How you're doing?
Korra: We were worried about you. So, what's going on?
Narrator: And one dark night, Pearl told them that...
Pearl: The king has fallen ill.
Misty: Oh, dear.
Chris Kratt: What happened?
Mouse: When he came check on us while we were trying to get out of here, we saw his hand was orange with spots. We think it could be a disease.
Raven Queen: Orange? That's strange.
Pearl: I know but when we tried to escape, we discovered that his entire body was orange, not just his hand.
Zazu: Oh, my. That is a strange colour for being sick.
Iago: Well, serves him right for locking you up here. We can now get away and by the time he recovers, we'II be long gone.
Hiro: Iago, Pearl's uncle may not be able to recover. For all we know, his disease could be deadlier than we think.
Zoe Trent: How bad is his condition, Pearl?
Pearl: Very bad, Zoe. And it's gonna get worse.
Buzzie: And you're going to help him despite what he did to you?
Pearl: Yes, Buzzie. I know he may not approve of my choice to be a doctor but he's still my family and I can't let him die. His well being is more important than my freedom right now.
Ash Ketchum: We understand, Pearl. What illness does the king have?
Mouse: We don't know yet, Ash. We're looking through these books to find that out.
Pikachu: Pika.
Pearl: Please, Iago. It's for my uncle's own good.
Iago: Oh, alright, I get it. He has to get better despite his mistreatment.
Connor Lacey: That's more like it.
Kion: We'II do whatever it takes to help you cure your uncle, Pearl.
Gruffalo: Hopefully you and Mouse found out what his illness is soon.
Pearl: Yeah, Gruffalo. I just hope we can cure him.
Zog and Gadabout: Oh.
[They look at each other. The scene changes to doctors checking on the King's condition]
Narrator: The king grew worse.
King: (weak moaning) My head is sore. My arms and legs feel weak.
Narrator: His skin had turned bright orange and he found it hard to speak. He called a lot of doctors, a new every day. He croaked...
King: What is this illness?
Narrator: But they simply couldn't say.
[Pearl closes the book, still having no luck finding out her uncle's illness]
Pearl: (sighs)
Mouse: How are we gonna find out what your uncle's illness is if none of these books have the info for it?
Doves: (coo)
[Pearl and Mouse look up to see two doves on the windowsill. One of them is the same colour as the king]
Dove: (sneezes)
[The other dove steps to the side]
Mouse: Hey, Pearl, look. That dove is the same colour as your uncle. It's got the illness too.
Pearl: (gasps)
Narrator: They didn't know the answer but Pearl was pretty sure.
[Pearl takes a book of bird illness and finds the right page]
Pearl: (gasps)
Mouse: What is it? Have you figured it out?
[Later]
Pearl: It looks like Orange Fever and I think I've found the cure.
Zog and Gadabout: Oh.
Sonic: Orange Fever? That's a strange illness.
Serena: So what's the cure for it?
Pearl: Grated horn of unicorn, a mighty lion's sneeze, some mermaid scales, a little slime...
Zog: And half a pound of cheese?
Melody: That's a strange ingredient for a cure.
Izzy: Yeah. But it's the only way to get rid of the King's illness.
Dog: Yeah, if it's one of the cure ingredients then we need to include it or he'll never recover.
Pearl: Do your best to find them all and do be very quick. My uncle could be dying, he looks extremely sick.
Connor Lacey: You heard Pearl. We better move quickly. The king may not have much time left.
Twilight Sparkle: Don't worry, Pearl. We'II be back as soon as we can.
Stick Man: As for you two, you need to forget your rivalry and work together, do you understand?
[Zog and Gadabout look at each other and nod before flying away]
Narrator: Away flew Zog, The Irelanders and Gadabout. They reached the lion's den.
Lion: Ah.
Zog and Gadabout: Oof!
Lion: (laughs)
Narrator: Bang, crash, thump! They landed.
Mario: Let's-a get that sneeze!
Luigi: Right you are-a, Mario. Gadabout, your hat feather.
[Gadabout tickles the lion's nose with his hat feather and he sneezes, spewing snot on Gadabout in the process]
Narrator: He sneezed for them.
Lion: (sneezes)
Gadabout: Ugh!
Irelanders: Ew!
Gadabout: (laughs)
Narrator: And then, they flew back to the forest where the grateful unicorn was very pleased to give them his unwanted sawn off horn.
Gadabout: (laughs)
Unicorn: (neighs)
Aisling: Thanks, Mr. Unicorn. Now let's get those mermaid scales.
Zog: Hm.
[They fly toward the beach where they helped the mermaid]
Narrator: Back to the mermaid's rock they flew.
[The mermaid is adjusting her hat when she heard Zog and Gadabout crashing]
Mermaid: Oh!
Zog: (groans)
Gadabout: (chuckles)
Whale: Hello, miss. We need some scales please. The king's life depends upon it.
Snail: He's got Orange Fever. Fellow snails, we need your slime for the cure.
Mermaid: (laughs)
Narrator: She gladly gave some scales. And Snail's brethren allowed them to collect their slimy trails.
Zog: Ugh.
Lloyd: Right, now for the half a pound of cheese. Let's go!
[The heroes set off. Night falls as they make their way back to the castle]
Zog: (pants)
Narrator: Zog said...
Zog: I'm exhausted.
Violet Parr: Keep going, Zog, we're nearly there!
[Gadabout pats Zog and they smile as the castle comes into view]
Narrator: But he flew and flew until...
[Pearl and Mouse are still waiting when they heard Zog and Gadabout crashing on the windowsill]
Narrator: Bang, crash, thump! They landed on the bedroom windowsill.
Frog: We got those things you wanted, Pearl!
Narrator: Princess Pearl said...
Pearl: Thank you for the slime, scales, horn and sneeze.
Mouse: We've already sent for the Governess to get that half cheese pound.
[Pearl gets out the cauldron and begins making the antidote. The Governess comes in with cheese on a trolley]
Narrator: She and Mouse took it all and mixed it up with half a pound of cheese.
[Pearl puts the cheese in the cauldron as dawn breaks. The solution glows purple and she scoops some up in a jar. She shows it to Zog, Gadabout and the Irelanders]
Pearl: (giggles)
Mouse: We did it! The antidote has been made!
Connor Lacey: Excellent.
Ash Ketchum: And Zog and Gadabout have worked together at last.
Pikachu: Pika.
Iris: Yep. Not bad for you two.
Axew: Axew.
Gamora: So, perhaps now you two can learn to get along just fine.
[Gadabout and Zog smile at each other then look away for a moment before Gadabout holds out his hand for a handshake and Zog hugs him. But then they heard the balcony they're on cracking and they plummet into the guards' resting room]
Irelanders: Aaaaaaah! Oof! (groaning)
Razer: Guess we should have known that the balcony must have weaken by the crashes and our weight.
Rainbow Dash: Oooh, my head.
Applejack: Everybody OK?
Gruffalo: Um....I think so.
Dizzy: Hold it, fellas. Now's not the time for it. Look.
[Everyone looks to see the guards staring at them]
Bumblebee (Transformers: Prime/RID): Oh, scrud.
Leo: Uh-oh.
Guards: (yelling)
[The heroes run as the guards chase them. They try to run to the castle only to be blocked by more guards. The heroes find themselves surrounded]
Captain America: Alright, you want a fight? You've got one!
Marinette Dupain-Cheng: We'll stop at nothing to free our friends!
[Meanwhile, Pearl and Mouse enter the King's room]
King: (moaning)
Narrator: They tiptoed to her uncle's room. The king lay in his bed.
King: (moans)
[He looks to see Pearl back in her doctor's outfit smiling at him with Mouse on her shoulder. He glares]
King: (gasps, grunts) You.....(moans)
Narrator: Pearl held a spoonful to his mouth.
Pearl: Now open wide.
Narrator: She said.
King: (grunts and turns over on his side)
Pearl: (sighs)
Mouse: He sure is stubborn, is he?
Pearl: Yes, Mouse. He is.
[Outside, more guards join the fray. The heroes battle fearlessly]
Raphael: That all you got?! I could do this all day!
Marinette Dupain-Cheng: As long as we're together, you can't beat us!
[Zog breathes fire but a guard throws water on him putting it out]
Zog: (coughs)
Spike: Oh, man. Come on!
[The guards back the heroes into each other. Gadabout and Zog look at each other and nod then battle the guards together with improvised fighting tactics. More show up and they disarm Gadabout. Inside, the spoon falls to the floor and Pearl, Mouse and the King glare at each other]
Pearl: (growls)
[The King turns over in a huff]
Mouse: How are we gonna get him to take his medicine?
[Pearl thinks then gasps getting an idea. She places a hand on the king's shoulder and smiles then tips his nose like she did when she was younger]
Pearl: Boop. (giggles)
King: (gasps then laughs)
[He suddenly feels weak and slumps back down]
Mouse: Your Majesty, I know you don't approve of Pearl's dream to be a doctor but you have to take the medicine if you ever want to get better. Please it's for your own good.
[The King glares at Mouse despite his surprise that he can talk then realizes that he has a point]
The King: Oh. (opens his mouth) Ah.
[Pearl pours some more medicine on the spoon then puts it in his mouth. The king swallows it then sits up looking surprised]
Narrator: After just one spoonful, her uncle felt much stronger.
Mouse: That's it.
[Pearl smiles and gives her uncle again spoonful. Later, the king looks at himself in the mirror]
Narrator: And after spoonful two, he wasn't orange any longer.
King: Ah.
Pearl: (giggles)
Narrator: After spoonful three, the king was dancing with delight.
King: (sings and hums then bends his back back in shape, laughs) Princesses can be doctors, you were absolutely right! I'm sorry that I locked you up. Of course you must go free.
Mouse: Thank you, your majesty. And here's the key for you as thanks.
[Pearl hands her uncle the key. He hangs his head, sighing, then closes his hands around Pearl's]
King: But do come back to visit me. And bring your friends to tea.
Mouse: Oh, thank you very much, we'd love to.
Everyone: (grunts)
Pearl: (gasps)
Mouse: What the....
[The guards have tied up the heroes]
Caitlin: Let us go!
Zog and Gadabout: (strains)
Connor Lacey: You don't understand. The king needs our help!
Misty: He's got Orange Fever!
Stick Man: We didn't mean to fall into your room.
Teacher: This could be the end of his reign if you don't let us help him.
Gruffalo's Child: Let us go! We can help!
Zog: (growls)
[The King, Pearl and Mouse come out to see what's going on]
Mouse: (gasps) Oh, no! They've got our friends! Call them off, your majesty!
Pearl: (sighs)
King: Aah. (laughs) Ahem!
[The king claps his hands and the guards set the heroes free]
Pearl: (laughs and hugs Zog) Hooray!
Narrator: Cried Pearl. And out she and Mouse ran to join the other two and their friends.
Twilight Sparkle: Oh, Pearl, Mouse, thank goodness you two are okay!
Bunga: How did it go?
Pearl: There were some difficulties to begin with, Bunga, but we got my uncle to take the medicine and he's all better now.
Witch: That's good to hear, Pearl.
Capper: But what about his disapproval?
Mouse: Well, the king's views changed as we gave him three spoonfuls of it and he saw that Pearl was right all along and finally accepted her dream, Capper. Then after he apologized, he let us go.
Korra: Is that so, your majesty?
King: Yes, Korra. I apologize for being so cruel to you all. I hope you can forgive me.
[The Irelanders pondered]
Bob Parr/Mr Incredible: Should we?
Lightning McQueen: I think we should. After all, he did save us from the guards.
Dusty Crophopper: Yeah. Who could say no to a good apology?
[Cat looks at Pearl unsure with a frown]
Pearl: Cat, he's being truthful. He really is sorry for doing those horrible things.
Applejack: And being honest. Besides, Honesty is my element of harmony after all.
Cat: (meows)
[Witch move her hand down to soothe Cat who gives in]
Gruffalo: We forgive you, your majesty.
Brock: So long as you promise to support your niece's dream from now on.
King: I promise. After all, that's what family is supposed to do. Support your dreams, regardless of backgrounds.
Connor Lacey: That's good.
Mouse: Now we need to take care of another patient who also got orange fever.
Jack Skellington: What do you mean?
Zero: (barks)
[Everyone looks to see the Governess giving the antidote to the dove]
Dove: (coos)
Guard: (sobs)
Snail: And it looks like the Governess has changed from what Pearl told us when we met her.
Buzzie: Yeah. And that dove must be the patient Mouse was referring to.
Aviva Corcovado: Yeah. At least it's better now.
[The king looks at Pearl, speechless. Then to his surprise, she hugs him and he hugs her back]
Pearl: (laughs)
King: (laughs)
Orange haired boy: Looks like Pearl and her uncle finally starts to get along better.
Teacher: They sure are, thankfully.
Jiminy Cricket: I wish the same could be said for that black dog.
Black Dog: (pants)
Gadabout: (laughs)
Fluttershy: Awww.
Black Dog: (barks)
Fluttershy and Gadabout: Daaah!
Zog: (roars)
Black Dog: (whimpers and runs off)
Gadabout: Aww.
Peter/Star Lord: That'II put manners on him.
Fluttershy: Yeah. Thanks, Zog.
Pearl: (to Mouse) You were very brave when that cat was around, Mouse. And thanks for being there for me when the others couldn't. I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't been there.
Mouse: Oh, it was nothing, Pearl. Anything to help a friend feel less alone.
Pearl: Hopefully we'll get to spend more time together in future.
[She hugs Mouse]
Mouse: We will, Pearl. (hugs her back) We will.
Witch: Good to have you back, Pearl.
Pearl: It's good to be back, Witch. Now, we better get going. Who knows how many more sick patients need our help.
The Mask: Yeah, she's right.
Connor Lacey: Let's get things packed up and get going.
Cream: Right you are, Connor.
[Later, Pearl and Gadabout get on Zog and the Irelanders get in their respective vehicles. The king and Pearl smile at each other then Zog, the Tortuga, Witch and Rocket fly off]
Narrator: Then off into the sunset, sped the Flying Doctor crew.
Gadabout, Zog and Pearl: (laughing and wooping)
[Pearl smiles as she, Zog and Gadabout flew towards the sunset]
Pearl and Gadabout: (chuckles)
[We view a portrait of the heroes on the wall in the king's castle. The screen fades to black before showing Connor, Zog, Gadabout and Pearl near the fountain]
Connor Lacey: Well, that's all for now folks, but stay tuned as we join our DC Super Hero friends in "The Irelanders' Super Adventures of LEGO DC Super Heroes Justice League vs Bizarro League" which is coming up next.
Pearl: See you there.
Zog and Gadabout: And always work together.
[They wave as the screen fades to black]
