Mr. Green: I am Mr. Green, your substitute teacher, All right, class, now let's get down to busi- (coughs, normal voice) Sorry about that, kids. Just getting over a little cold myself. All right. Now let's get down to business. If you pull out your nutrition assingment from yesterday.

Mr. Green: Now, does anyone know the last remaining food group?

Buttercup: How about teacher, Dr Lecter?! (gets silenced by Rabbit)

Rabbit: (sternly, whispers) Quiet, young lady.

Mr. Green: You three? You know, you're beginning to get on my nerves, ladies. Don't try my patience. Back to your seats now.

(Buttercup and Bubbles fly back to their seats.)

Pooh Bear: Hmm, Mr. Green doesn't sound so bad.

Mr. Green: (to Blossom) Uh, you with the bow! You stay! I have a task for you.

Blossom: Uh, task? For me?

Mr. Green: Uh, Blossom, is it? Blossom, I have a secret I want to tell you.

Blossom: (nervously) Secret?

Mr. Green: Yes, a secret. You see, I have these...(whispers) cookies. That I want you to pass out to the students.

Blossom: Um. but-

Mr. Green: Come on now. Off you go. One for everyone. Shoo, Shoo! You crazy kid. (laughs)

(Mr. Green sees the heroes.)

Mr. Green: (whispers) Hey! Psst! Hey, you, guys!

Heroes: Hmm? Who us?

Pikachu: Pi?

Mr. Green: Yes, you, come here.

Pooh Bear: You want to talk to us?

Piglet: Uh, why?

Mr. Green: (kindly) Oh, don't be scared of me. Please, come here.

Heroes: Okay. (they all come up to Mr. Green)

Mr. Green: So, you're all friends of the PowerPuff Girls?

Pooh Bear: Why, yes, we are.

Piglet: But, how did you know?

Mr. Green: Some of those friendly monsters told me about you.

Tigger: Oh, yeah. We backed up the girls.

Mr. Green: That's fantastic.

Rabbit: Anyway, our names our-

Mr. Green: Pooh Bear, Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Ash Ketchum, Brock and Misty.

Pooh Bear: I'm guessing you've learned our names from Ms. Keane.

Mr. Green: Sure have, Pooh Bear.

Ash Ketchum: We're Pokemon trainers, Mr. Green.

Mr. Green: Oh, really?

Misty and Brock: That's right.

Pikachu: Pikachu.

Mr. Green: Oh, and who's that yellow little fella?

Ash Ketchum: That's my partner, Pikachu.

Misty: Wow, you're charming.

Mr. Green: Why thank you, young miss.

Boy: Mmm, chocolate chip.

(The heroes glare at the girls sternly for making a mess in the classroom and judging Mr. Green.)

Pooh Bear: Girls, shame on you for upsetting this kind gentleman.

Piglet: He was kind enough to give the children cookies.

Pikachu: (agreeing) Pikachu!

Mr. Green: (to girls) That's it. No recess for you.

(Ash, Misty and Brock shake their heads in disapproval.)

Rabbit: We're sorry about the girls' behavior and for the way they treated you.

Tigger: Yeah, they didn't know that you're actually nice.

Mr. Green: Don't worry, gentlemen. It'll give the girls' time to get to know me better.

(Said monster gathers several kids into a hug and chuckles.)

Mr. Green: I get it. (He kneels down to the girls, having let the kids go.) Listen, girls. Just because I have big horns and like to wear long flowing capes doesn't make me a bad guy.

Rabbit: Well, girls. I just hope that you all learned your lesson today about letting your imagination run away with you.

(He indicates these two features of himself as he mentions them.)

Mr. Green: Yes, I am a monster, but I love children. (Cut to the chastened girls; he continues o.c.) And I want to help them learn and grow.

(They hang their heads. Close-up of Buttercup and pan to each of her sisters in turn.)

Buttercup: We're sorry, Mr. Green.

Blossom: I guess we shouldn't judge someone by what they look like.

Bubbles: Even if they're as ugly as you. (Pull back to frame all four; the girls smile.)

Mr. Green: That's right! (Cut to the girls; he continues o.c.) Besides, you girls aren't what you appear to be. (Pull back; he hugs them.) For three sweet little girls, you really can pack a punch.

(Zoom in slowly on his beaming face.)

Narrator: Aw, Mr. Green, you're the best substitute creature ever.

(This catches him off guard. Comic perspective: he is in full fury. A growl rumbles forth.)

* Mr. Green: Don't you mean "teacher"?!? (Normal perspective: he smiles calmly.)

Narrator: (hastily) Er, right. Sorry. Teacher. Substitute teacher. Heh.

(The background for the end shot comes up.)
