Maraschino Ruby (Short Film)

Sonic: Wolf, you know we don't like where this is going.

Mr. Snake: Sonic has a point. Why would we steal the Maraschino Ruby?

Mr. Wolf: Thought we have a clean slave. Look what the chief said about us.

Red: The ruby is safe from those stupid, lame... and stupid Bad Guys?

Kion: Does she realized that her words are just annoying?

Chief Misty Luggins: Well, of course it is. I've made it myself. This was all an elaborate plot to capture the Bad Guys!

Officer Bob: I thought they've gone good. All thanks to Sonic, Red, Kion and Steven. But it turns they were arrested eariler today.

Chief Misty Luggins: WHAT?!

[Later at the police station]

Sonic: Consider us arrested. Locked up. We're living in the slammer.

Red: Well, we would've gotten away with it.

Knuckles (in disguise): The better question is: What are they doing here?! Ever since I saw the news last year, this nice hedgehog, this honest bird, this brave lion and this smart kid changed the former criminals' ways. Further more, I would've fired you if they didn't behave to your orders.

[Chuck enters the scene in disguise]

Chuck (in disguise): If I may, he's entirely right.

Chief Misty Luggins: Judge Mikeson?

Knuckles (in disguise): Bring in the lawer.

[Mr. Shark enters the scene in disugise]

Mr. Shark (in disguise): Afternoon. June Lawson, attorney at law. And I am outraged "OUTRAGED" to see my pour frightened clients being interrogated without they're lawer present. Which I am! Exhibit A: a reciet for 79 cents. Thus proven they are entirely innocent.

Chuck (in disguise): Exhibit B: a small, clean one dollar bill. Thus proven they payed for the push-pop.

Knuckles (in disguise): Exhibit C: Planning a fake ruby for the Bad Guys to steal right here on the newspaper. Luggins, I'm afraid I have no choice but to fire you for entrapment! Which is an illegal crime! Bob, do the honors.

Chief Misty Luggins: What? That is ridiculous. [Officer Bob puts handcuffs on Luggins] Is that?

[a flashback starts playing]

[the flashback ends with our heroes sneaking in and putting the ruby back in the museum]

Officer Bob: I guess they're not so bad after all.

Chief Misty Luggins: Don't. Even. SAY IT! AAAAGH!

(Meanwhile)

Mr. Wolf: Look at here. The ruby is safe from...

Chuck: But seriously, Knuckles. Give us that good impression of Commissioner Miltary on Luggins. Just one more time.
