Mewtwo's Prologue/Lawrence III learns the Legend/Captures Moltres

(scene New York City, we see Mewtwo on top of a bridge, he senses us)

• Mewtwo: (addresses us) I knew you'd return. I suppose you're wondering what happened after I told my friends the truth. (uses his psychic powers to show us Ash's final battle) You see, after our departure to the 100 Acre Wood, Ash Ketchum returned to his Ultimate Mission: completing the Pokémon World Coronation series and defeating his most powerful opponent: Leon, the Galar Region Champion. While Misty and Brock returned to their Gyms to fulfill their respected duties while watching their friend in action. I know what you're thinking, "Ash was defeated by Leon." But, you thought wrong. With great strength and power, Ash and his Pokémon defeated Leon and became the even more famous Pokémon World Champion.
• Referee: Charizard is unable to battle! Which means the victory goes to Ash!

(Ash and his Pokémon celebrate as flashback ends)

• Mewtwo: After that, Ash and Pikachu continued their mission to travel around the world like my friends do. (looks up in the sky) Little do they realize that their next adventure with my friends will be far more greater than they realize. He would have to fulfill a special duty at the Orange Islands.

(scene fades to Shamouti Island while a flute is heard playing a melody)

• Man: Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice, or lightning, lest these titans wreak destruction upon the world in which they clash. Though the water's great guardian shall arise to quell the fighting, alone its song will fail, lest the earth shall turn to ash. Oh, chosen one, into thine hands bring together all three, their treasures combined tame the beast of the sea.

(As the speaker says these words, we get a view of what the speaker looks like, revealing he's reading from an ancient stone tablet)

• Lawrence III: Now it, begins.

(Soon, something draws the man's attention)

• Computer: Analysis indicates that the titan of fire referred to in the ancient inscription is the legendary Pokémon, Moltres. Believed to have originated in a remote region of the Orange Islands. The titan of lightning is the Pokémon, Zapdos. And Articuno is the titan of ice. Historical documents confirm that the three legendary Pokémon are unique species found only in the vicinity of Shamouti Island.

(As the computer gives the man the rundown on what it discovered, he sits down in a chair)

• Lawrence III: Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno. Any one of them would be a priceless edition to my collection.

(As Lawrence III talks, a virtual map of the Orange Islands comes up)

• Lawrence III: But together, they are the three keys that unlock, the ultimate treasure.
• Computer: Pokémon matching subject parameters Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, detected.
• Lawrence III: Then let's get started.

(The chair Lawrence III is sitting in rises towards a hole in the ceiling)

• Lawrence III: Which one is nearest?
• Computer: The fire Pokémon, Moltres.
• Lawrence III: Good.

(The chair stops in some kind of command area, and it's revealed that the man is piloting an airship and is right over Shamouti Island and the three islands where the three legendary birds dwell. Soon, some cannons fire on one of the islands, freezing parts of it solid. Soon, after one blast freezes a cave entrance, the glow of a fire is seen inside the cave, the fire within begins to melt the ice. And eventually, a powerful stream of fire breaks through the ice freeing the source of the fire within, Moltres itself. Moltres proceeds to fly towards the airship)

• Lawrence III: Now the chase, (snaps his fingers) is on.

(The cannons fire at Moltres, with a couple shots landing right on target. With Moltres stunned, some strange devices come down from the bottom of the airship. Moltres manages to destroy one of them and avoid some of them, but it's all in vain as Moltres is inevitably captured and brought into the airship from where the capture devices came from)

• Lawrence III: Well, I've taken the first piece without too much difficulty. It's like a simple game of chess. Next, I'll capture Zapdos, and Articuno soon after. And that will flush out the king. And then, that's when the game's going to get interesting. Bring together all three, their treasures combined tame the beast of the sea. Lugia.

(We soon hear and then see Lugia swimming/flying through the ocean as the title of the movie rolls)

Zordon teleports Pooh and Pals to the Command Center and gives them their mission

(a hole between Time and Space opens as Pooh and Pals lands at the Command Center)

• Piglet: Where are we, Pooh?
• Winnie the Pooh: Oh, my. Why, we've been teleported back to the Command Center.
• Tigger: (gasps) Don't you know what this means?
• Alpha 5: (OS) I believe I do. (emerges) Hello, Pooh and Pals. Welcome back.
• Rabbit: Wait a minute. Wait a minute! Alpha, what are you doing here?
• Alpha 5: I live here. Remember?
• Eeyore: It figures.
• Tigger; Alpha, old buddy. How did this place came to be?
• Alpha 5: Your friend Mewtwo happened. After he left you, he came to here to repair the Command Center as it was before.
• Rabbit: Oh, yes. I see what you mean. Mmm-hmm.
• Tigger: What about Big Z?
• Piglet: Did he...
• Alpha 5: Aye-yi-yi! Don't even think it! Zordon is just fine.

(Zordon appears in his time warp)

• Zordon: Welcome, my friends. I'm glad that you can make it.
• Winnie the Pooh: And we're glad to see you alive.
• Zordon: Yes. As am I. I suppose you’re wondering why I brought you here.
• Tigger: A new mission?
• Alpha 5: Yes. (Shows newspaper) Does this person look familiar to you?
• Winnie the Pooh: That’s Ash.
• Rabbit: Wait a minute. (shakes his head) Wait a minute. “World Champion?”
• Tigger: (realizes, laughs)
• Zordon: I knew you’d like this. Now to the point, he and his world is the topic of your next mission.
• Eeyore: If you ask me, not that anybody is, what’s our mission in the Pokémon World this time?
• Alpha 5: There are reports of strange weather activity, which is affecting Pokémon, and that there was an abduction of a Fire Pokémon, Moltres.
• Tigger and Rabbit: Moltres?
• Alpha 5: It belongs to a Race of three Legendary Bird Pokémon which Powers represents the Earth's Elements, among them are Zapdos who Represents Lightning and Articuno who Represents Ice.
• Zordon: Something bad is about to happen around the World, and Ash Ketchum, along with Pikachu, Misty and Brock's temporary Replacement, Tracey, Professor Oak's assistant from Pallet Town are going to Shamouti Island. An region of three islands in the Orange Islands in the Kanto Region.
• Rabbit: And let me guess, you want us to help out.
• Zordon: That's correct, Rabbit.
• Tigger: Do we have any clues to who's the villain of this picture?
• Zordon: Look at the Viewing Globe.

(Pooh and Pals looks at the Viewing Globe to see Lawrence III's airship)

• Zordon: This airship is piloted by a collector named Lawrence III. His goal is get the Legendary Bird Pokémon for his collection. Little does he not know the consequences of a prophecy he discovered. Unless the Birds are freed, I'm afraid the balance of not just the Pokémon World but all worlds will be destroyed by an powerful underwater current called "The Beast of the Sea."
• Pooh and Pals: (gasp)
• Rabbit: We can't let that happen. We must stop him.
• Tigger; You bet your fluffy tail, Long Ears!
• Zordon: Excellent! Alpha will teleport you to Ash Ketchum's current location. And make sure you tell him about your mission.
• Tigger: Yes, sir!
• Winnie the Pooh: Don't worry, Zordon. We'll stop this Lawrence III and free the Legendary Bird Pokémon, or my name isn't Winnie the Pooh. Which it is.
• Zordon: Lawrence must not get the remaining Titans.
• Alpha 5: Aye-yi-yi. Good luck, my friends.
• Piglet: Thanks, Alpha.
• Zordon: Good Luck. And May the Power Protect You.
• Rabbit: Ready, Forward, March!

(Pooh and Pals teleports away)

Ash and Friends on a Boat/Reunited with Ash and Misty and meeting Tracey/A Big Storm

(The camera then fades in and pans down on a shot of our heroes sailing past an island on the open sea, with a new friend captaining the boat they're on)

• Narrator: Another perfect day in paradise. The weather, warm. The breezes, balmy. The water, calm and crystal clear.

(As the narrator speaks, the camera zooms in and around our heroes)

• Narrator: Even Pokémon trainers deserve a break on a day like today. And as our heroes sail through the Orange Islands, Ash Ketchum dreams of his next big adventure. Little does he know, it will be his greatest.
• Ash: (yawns) Nice day.
• Misty: It's beautiful! Right, Togepi?
• Tracey: Hey, Ash, think we have time to give the Pokémon a little fresh air?
• ???: Sure, Tracey. It'll take us about an hour to get to the next island. There's plenty of time.
• Ash: Well, what are we waiting for?! (throws a Pokéball, and Lapras materializes from it)

(As our heroes bring our their Pokémon, save for Charizard and Snorlax as they're too fiery and big and heavy, respectively, as Ash finds out when they materialize, prompting him to quickly recall them both, a remix of the song Pokémon World plays in the background. All the while, Team Rocket follows behind in their submarine. Later, as our heroes approach the next island)

• Tigger: Ahoy, mateys!
• Maren: Huh? What’s that?
• Ash Ketchum: Hey look it’s Pooh! Hey! Hey you guys, over here!
• Winnie the Pooh: Oh, hello, Ash.
• Misty: Hey, Pooh and the Gang!
• Piglet: (chuckles nervously) Hi, Misty.
• Misty: Good to see you! So what brings you to the Orange Islands?
• Rabbit: Well, we came back to your world for a new mission. (looks at Tigger) Mmm.
• Tigger: (laughs nervously) And we couldn’t help but heard the news about you, Ashy Boy. You just became the Pokémon World Champion! Hoo-Hoo!
• Winnie the Pooh: Oh, yes! Congratulations by the way.
• Eeyore: You totally deserved that.
• Ash Ketchum: Thanks guys. It was a tough battle but I won.
• Tracey: I saw it, too.
• Winnie the Pooh: Oh, hello, Tracey.
• Misty: Tracey, you know Pooh and Pals?
• Tracey: I sure do.
• Rabbit: We met and told him our story of our last encounter.
• Tigger: Which involves our new special friend.
• Ash Ketchum: Who?
• Rabbit: He wishes to remain anonymous for the time being. Hope you understand.
• Ash Ketchum: (realizes) Sure, Rabbit. I understand. Can't wait to meet him.
• Misty: Me, too.

(Maren sees a storm brewing overhead)

• Rabbit: (ears twitch) Oh, my. There's going to be an awful storm.
• Tigger: (laughs) Great going, Bunny Boy. You almost got me fooled.
• Rabbit: I'm not kidding, Tigger. There's going to be a monstrous storm.
• Pooh: Oh my goodness. I think Rabbit is right.
• Eeyore: Never trust a cloud, I always say.

(Pikachu feels it coming as sparks fly from its cheeks. Soon, the waters get rougher and our heroes try to hold on as Maren's boat fights through the weather. Even Team Rocket feels the rough waters as a school of Magikarp swim by their sub. In response to the stormy weather, the Pokémon in the ocean and in the boat are recalled as the Magikarp school and Team Rocket's sub surface. As for Pikachu, who's on the stem of the boat, he feels that something is wrong about the storm. Down in the sea, Lugia is heard, and soon seen. Back on the surface, Maren realizes something)

• Maren: We're way off course.

(Our heroes see what Maren sees)

• Tigger: Say. What island is that, Maren?
• Maren: That's Shamouti. We're right in the middle of the Orange Islands.
• Winnie the Pooh: The middle of the Orange Islands?
• Rabbit: Well, that's our stop anyway.
• Eeyore: It figures.
• Piglet: Oh, d-d-dear.

(As our heroes near Shamouti, the Magikarp school and Team Rocket's sub follow behind)

• Jessie: An island!
• James: In a storm!
• Meowth: I've seen dis movie.

(Jessie notices that they're heading right for the rocks under the lighthouse)

• Jessie: Do we have, karp insurance?

(James and Meowth realize that something's wrong)

• Jessie: We're about to be...
• Meowth: Filet of fish?

(Our heroes get closer to the island as Team Rocket crashes into the rocks and the Magikarp school swims on. Meanwhile, in Pallet Town, Ash's mom, Delia Ketchum, is working in her garden while her Mr. Mime, Mimey, sweeps away. Soon, Professor Oak rides up on his bicycle)

• Prof. Oak: Good morning, Delia! Well, you certainly do have a green thumb.
• Delia: Thanks, Professor. But the truth is, I've been getting a lot of help with my garden, lately. The weather's been just beautiful!
• Prof. Oak: Well, this is the time of year when the sun shines every day.

(Suddenly, a storm gathers overhead as Mimey heads inside to get an umbrella. But no sooner does he head inside the house that the rain starts coming down. Mimey comes back with an umbrella for Delia, but the rain stops just as quickly as it starts)

• Prof. Oak: Say, that was awfully strange.
• Delia: And it past by so quickly.

(Soon, snow starts to fall)

• Delia: Oh my! It looks like snow!

(Professor Oak and Delia realize it is)

• Delia: It, is snow. But, this is summer. How can it snow?
• Prof. Oak: I. I don't know.

(Soon, Mimey sees something in the sky. Professor Oak and Deliah look and see it as well. It's the Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights. A flock of Pidgey are seen flying overhead as the three look on. As the flock of Pidgey fly away, the weather returns to summer sunshine. Soon, Mimey notices something coming towards them. A whole swarm of Diglet, and they carry off Professor Oak's bicycle while the Professor jumps off in time as Mimey begins to panic)

• Delia: What is it, Mimey? (to Professor oak) Mr. Mime is very upset.
• Prof. Oak: Yes. And so are the other Pokémon. Pokémon are more in tune with nature than we are. When something goes wrong, they can sense it. And I'm afraid something somewhere is going terribly wrong.

Shamouti Island/Ash Ketchum: The Chosen One/The Mission

(Meanwhile, our heroes have come ashore on Shamouti)

• Ash: We sure are lucky.
• Tigger: Phew. That sure was a close call. That storm almost caught us.
• Misty: If we hadn't found this place, we'd be in real trouble.

(Suddenly, Tracey notices something disturbing)

• Tracey: I think we still might be.

(Our heroes look and notice a whole bunch of islanders wearing masks and holding different things approach them)

• Tigger: Um-duh. Show'em what you're made of, buddy bear.
• Winnie the Pooh: Fluff?
• Tigger; I think we're in big trouble.

(Soon, one of the islanders speaks)

• ???: Maren! How are you?

(Our heroes are caught off guard as the islander removes her mask)

• Tigger: (stutters) What?
• Piglet: What?
• Winnie the Pooh: What?
• Rabbit: What?
• Eeyore: Huh?
• ???: It's been a while.
• Maren: Carol, I can't believe it! It's great to see you.
• Carol: What are you doing back on Shamouti Island?
• Maren: We got caught up in that storm and floated in, and it looks like we got here at the perfect time.
• Carol: You're right. The annual Legend Festival starts today.
• Maren: This is my favorite Island holiday. Are you going to be the star of the show again?
• Carol: No, I'm too old to be the Festival Maiden anymore. So this year, my little sister will take over for me. Wonder where she could...
• ???: I'm right here!

(Everyone looks as Carol's sister shows up)

• ???: The only one not wearing some stupid costume. You'd think after a few centuries, you'd have outgrown this dorky ritual.
• Carol: It's our tradition! You should be honored to take part!
• ???: Don't worry, I'll play my role in the big legend. I've only seen you do it, like, a zillion times.
• Carol: Just be there! Well, unfortunately, that's my little sister. Her name is Melody, but don't get fooled. She's not always this adorable. Who's this?
• Maren: Oh, sorry. This is Ash Ketchum, he's a Pokémon trainer.

(Carol and the crowd are shocked when they hear that Ash is a Pokémon trainer, and even Melody turns her attention to Ash after she hears that he's a trainer)

• Carol and the crowd: Pokémon trainer?!?

(The crowd begins to celebrate as someone else comes up to Ash)

• Tobias: The ancient legend foretells your arrival. And only with you can the guardian of the waters vanquish the great titans of fire, ice, and lightning! (lifts his mask) In your hands, oh, chosen one. In your hands rests the world and its fate.
• Ash: It does?
• Tobias: Don't let it worry you, kid. It's just for the tourists. (mask closes on him) Blasted beak.
• Melody: So, you're a Pokémon trainer, huh? Hmm. I guess he'll do. Here's your traditional welcome kiss.

(Melody kisses Ash, to the mixed reactions of the other heroes)

• Tigger: (to Rabbit) Ashy Boy got kissed by an islander. (laughs)

(Melody sees Pooh and Pals)

• Melody: Are you guys Pokémon?
• Winnie the Pooh: I don't think so.
• Melody: Oh, I don't think so. Who are you guys anyway?
• Winnie the Pooh: Well, this is Piglet, and Tigger, and Rabbit, and Eeyore.
• Eeyore: Thanks for noticing.
• Winnie the Pooh: And I'm Winnie the Pooh. But you can call me...
• Carol and the crowd: Winnie the Pooh?!

(The crowd begins to celebrate as Tobias comes up to Pooh and Pals)

• Tobias: The ancient legend foretells your arrival. And only with you can the Guardian of Eltar vanquish the Great Evil that plagues the Multiverse! (lifts his mask) In your hands, oh, chosen ones. In your hands rests the world and its fate.
• Piglet: You th-th-th-think so?
• Tobias: Don't let it worry you, little one. It's just for the tourists. (mask closes on him) Blasted beak.
• Tigger: So, that's what Big Z was telling us about. (laughs, breaks the fourth wall) Looks like we got our work cut out for us.

(Melody spots Misty)

• Melody: Are you his little sister?
• Misty: I am not!
• Melody: Well, then I guess you must be, his girlfriend.
• Misty: Bleh! Gross!
• Melody: Oh, I don't think so. I'll be glad to play for him tonight at the Legend Banquet. Starts around eight. Oh, and Misty, try not to get jealous.

(Ash just chuckles as Misty shows a bit of jealousy)

• Rabbit: Well, I'd like to know more about this legend and what Ash's role is in it.
• Tigger: Well, what are we waiting for? Stop your talking, and start your walking! (laughs)
• Tobias: We have found our chosen one!

(The islanders lead Ash and the gang to where the Legend Festival and Banquet are to be held, while Pikachu continues to look worried)

(That night, the festival is underway. And it's got plenty for our heroes to enjoy, including a Gyarados puppet that acts and dances like a Chinese Dragon in a Chinese New Year celebration. There are also ceremonial dances, and plenty of food. Speaking of which, at the banquet hall, our heroes are enjoying the feast)

• Maren: And she says "No, but I have Krabbies!" (laughs along with Carol and Tobias)

(Pooh and Pals are sitting near Ash, Misty, and Tracey eating a feast of fresh Combee honey and bread)

• Piglet: Uh, you know Pooh, I was thinking...
• Winnie the Pooh: That's a very good habit, Piglet.
• Piglet: (giggles) No. I was thinking about what Tobias and Melody said about us and Ash. Umm, what's gonna be our role in this legend?
• Rabbit: Patience, Piglet. We'll know soon enough.
• Eeyore: It figures.

(Tigger notices Misty still fuming a bit)

• Tigger: What's up?
• Misty: It's ridiculous. Me, Ash's girlfriend. (takes a bit from what she's eating) It's totally ridiculous.
• Rabbit: You'll get over it. Sooner or later. Besides, I'm sure Melody was just kidding. (glares at Tigger)
• Tigger; (laughs nervously)
• Ash: I can't wait to see what my part in the legend ceremony's gonna be.

(Soon, Melody is heard and seen playing a flute from a shell on stage)

• Tracey: Ash, that's her! The girl we met on the beach!
• Misty: Melody.
• Ash: Melody?

(Melody continues playing the song while everyone watches in amazement)

• Misty: She's a big showoff.

(After the performance and as the feasters applaud, Melody rushes to Ash)

• Rabbit: I can't believe how wonderful that song was!
• Winnie the Pooh: I can't either.
• Eeyore: Moved me to tears.
• Melody: Hear ye all! “From the trio of islands, ancient spheres shall you take. For between life and death, all the difference you'll make. Oh, chosen one, you must climb to the shrine to right what is wrong, and the world will be healed by the guardian's song.”
• Ash: What do I do?
• Melody: I just told you, Ash.
• Ash: Yeah, I heard all that stuff, but, what do I have to do?
• Melody: Oh, it won't be very hard, Ash. Not for you. And besides, almost all the chosen ones come back alive.
• Piglet: A-a-a-a-almost?
• Carol: Melody!
• Winnie the Pooh: (sees Piglet shivering in fear) It's alright, Piglet.

(Melody winks and chuckles)

• Melody: All you have to do is get these glass balls from three islands. One from Fire Island. (hands Ash an orange) One from Ice Island. (hands Ash a lemon) And one from Lightning Island. (hands Ash a pear) And you bring them to the shrine back here. (gets out her flute) And then, (gets up) I celebrate by playing this song. (plays the song of Lugia again) And then it's over, oh, chosen one.
• Ash: Do I get to wear a cool costume?
• Melody: Sorry, but it's just come as you are. (takes the pear, takes a bite out of it and winks) Besides, you look perfect to me. The handsomest chosen one in years.
• Ash: Okay! Get me a boat and I'm ready!
• Melody: Oh, there's no hurry. You have all day tomorrow. Tonight's just for the party. Stay, have some fun.
• Tigger: She's right, Ashy Boy. Even Tiggers need their beauty sleep too, you know. (laughs)
• Ash: Well, some things are more important than fun. I'm Ash, the chosen one. This is serious. I gotta be responsible.
• Misty: That's a switch. (eats a grape)
• Maren: (approaches Ash) You know what? I like your attitude. We can take my boat, Ash.
• Ash: Then, let's go! You coming, Misty?
• Misty: No thanks. If you want somebody to do whatever you want, whenever you want, you should find yourself a girlfriend.
• Ash: What about you, Pooh?
• Winnie the Pooh: Well, as long as we don't run into any trouble, then I guess it's okay.
• Piglet: I'll go, too.
• Eeyore: Me, too.
• Tigger: Me, too. How about you, Long Ears?
• Rabbit: I, uh...
• Ash: Well, Rabbit?
• Rabbit: Uh, well, uh, that is, uh....um...what I mean....
• Winnie the Pooh: Well?
• Rabbit: Well, I, uh... (groans) Oh, alright. I guess I'll go with you guys, too.

(Pikachu suddenly takes Ash's hat and runs off with it)

• Ash: Pikachu! Pikachu!
• Pikachu: (muffled by the hat in his mouth) Pika! ("Come on!")
• Ash: Hey, gimme back my hat! (rushes off after Pikachu)
• Rabbit: Hurry, hurry! There's not a moment to lose.

(Pooh, his friends and Maren follows after him)

Weather Disasters/Fire Island/Getting the Sphere

(Meanwhile, out on the ocean, Team Rocket is pedaling what's left of their sub)

• Jessie: Our ship is ruined.
• James: I'm sick of it!
• Meowth: I'm seasick over it!

(Team Rocket then notices Maren's boat speeding towards them with Ash and Pikachu on board, and they fall in the water as the boat zooms past)

• James: Wasn't that...?
• Jessie: The twerp?
• Meowth: And Pikachu and those talking toy animals, too.

(As Team Rocket watches Ash zoom away, another storm starts and rain falls quickly. Team Rocket is then washed away by the waves. Meanwhile, in a cave, the Pokémon Slowking from the shrine is watching the storm)

• Slowking: Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice, and lightning. (sighs) What a mess.

(From the shrine, we see Ash and Maren speed off through the storm towards Fire Island, but the sea gets rougher)

• Ash: I hope the legend ceremony doesn't include, a funeral.
• Piglet: I do, too.
• Rabbit: Uh, suddenly going so soon doesn't seem like such a good idea.

(Back in the village, the storm gets stronger)

• Melody: The storm's bad. What if the guys can't make it to the island? Carol, I have to take your boat.
• Carol: Melody, what can you do?
• Melody: They're caught out in the storm because of our stupid ritual, and I'm the one who picked Ash for it. I just hope they're alright.

(Down at the docks, Team Rocket reaches safety when they see our heroes racing past and following Melody)

• Melody: (to Misty) What are you coming for?
• Misty: To find Ash and Pooh and Pals. And before you start saying it's because I secretly like him, don't, cause I don't!
• Melody: Hey, chill out! You sure are sensitive about somebody who's not your boyfriend!
• Misty: He's not my boyfriend! He's a boy and he's a friend, but he's not a boyfriend!
• Tracey: You talking about me?

(Soon, our heroes are on Carol's speedboat, heading for Fire Island. But unbeknownst to them, Team Rocket stowed away)

• Jessie: What we won't do.
• James: For Pikachu.

(Meowth laughs. Meanwhile, up in the sky, Lawrence III's airship looms)

• Lawrence III: Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice, and lightning. (chuckles) It seems there's been a shift, in the balance of power.
• Computer: Pokémon Zapdos detected.

(Meanwhile, at the Shamouti banquet hall, Maren and the others watch the news talking about strange weather occurrences all over the world)

• TV Reporter: Experts now believe that the weather disasters occurring in all parts of the globe are due to a powerful and previously unknown phenomenon from deep beneath the surface of the ocean. (the screen shows a computer simulation) This is a simulation of the underwater river that has snaked it's way around the planet. Disrupting ocean currents, weather patterns and the entire global climate.

(It's revealed that the people of Shamouti aren't the only ones watching, as we see Delia and Professor Oak watching the same news report in the professor's lab in Pallet Town)

• Prof. Oak: I wonder if this is what's been upsetting all the Pokémon.

(The powerful "winter" wind break one of the windows in the lab)

• TV Reporter: The source of this disturbance appears to be centered at the north central region of the Orange Islands.
• Prof. Oak: The Orange Islands?!?
• Delia: But, that's where Ash and his friends are right now.

(Soon, Professor Oak gets a call)

• Prof. Oak: Someone's calling.

(The caller is revealed to be Professor Ivy)

• Prof. Ivy: Professor, we're having problems!
• Prof. Oak: What is it, Professor Ivy?
• Prof. Ivy: The Pokémon here are behaving very strangely.

(Meanwhile, on the ocean, the storm clears)

• Ash: It looks like the storm's over!
• Maren: But the sea keeps getting rougher!
• Rabbit: Hold on tight, everyone!

(Indeed, the sea starts pitching the boat around, sending it airborne for a bit, and then it goes through a bunch of rocks, narrowly missing them. However, the second time it goes airborne, the rudder hits a rock and breaks off)

• Maren: The rudder!
• Pikachu: Pikachu! ("Up ahead!")

(The waves then send the boat aground, the high and hard way. Ash looks up and sees that they arrived on Fire Island)

(Ash, Pooh, his friends, and Maren disembark from the stranded boat)

• Maren: Well, at least we made it. But..
• Pikachu: Pikachu! ("Hurry, this way!")

(Pikachu runs off towards some steps)

• Ash: Pikachu! Where are you going?
• Tigger: After that Pikachu!
• Maren: Guys, we shouldn't split up! The storm might pick up again!
• Ash: Pikachu's been acting really weird! I gotta find out why!
• Rabbit: Hurry, hurry! There's not a moment to lose.

(Ash rushes after his friend. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang speed toward Fire Island)

• Melody: Okay, hold on, you guys!

(The boat rides along the wave like a surfboard)

• Misty: Cool move!
• Melody: I've been around boats all my life. You don't have to be scared.
• Misty: Oh, I never get scared out on the ocean. I come from a water Pokémon gym.

(Melody notices the wave starting to come down, but they all manage to avoid getting wiped out. However, another big wave sends the boat airborne. While the gang hangs on for dear life, Team Rocket hold on to a tarp and get blown away towards Fire Island. As for our heroes, they mange to land safely. On the shore of the island, Maren is having snack with some hot chocolate. Our heroes soon come riding in on a wave and come ashore with it while Maren feels the force of the wave itself. Maren then runs out of the cabin to see our heroes and their boat on a rock)

• Tracey: Hey! Are you guys okay?!
• Maren: Yeah, we're fine! But I think the boat's in pretty bad shape!
• Melody: Where's Ash and Pooh and Pals?!
• Maren: Up there!

(Maren points to the stairs, when suddenly, the boat our heroes are on begins to slip backwards because of the strong winds)

• Tracey: We're, slipping!

(Melody pulls a cord and a mast and sail come out, and next thing you know, the boat begins to lift up and flies toward the stairs)

• Tracey: It flies?

(The boat lands on the stairs)

• Melody: If you know how.
• Misty: Awesome!
• Tracey: Hang on!

(The boat starts slowly moving up the stairs)

• Misty: Let's find Ash and the guys!
• Melody: Yeah! And if he needs any help, his girlfriend's here.
• Misty: But I'm not..
• Melody: Like you said, you are a girl and you are his friend. Isn't that right?

(Misty chuckles sheepishly then nods)

(Meanwhile, in the sky, Lawrence III's airship looms while he looks at the captured Moltres)

• Lawrence III: Poor Moltres, you seem so miserable. But they say, misery loves company.

(A hologram of Zapdos comes up)

• Computer: Zapdos approaching Fire Island.

Zapdos Appears/Lawrence III Captures Zapdos and our Heroes/Meeting Lawrence III

(Meanwhile, Ash and Pikachu continue up the stairs)

• Ash: Pikachu!
• Rabbit: Stop going so fast!

(As Pooh and Pals, Ash and Pikachu ascend, Team Rocket spots them)

• Jessie: Hey, look!
• James: There they are!
• Meowth: I can't believe our luck!
• James: Yeah.
• Meowth: Pikachu.
• Jessie: We'll get you.

(Team Rocket laughs as Ash reaches the top of the stairs. At the bottom, stands a shrine. And in this shrine, is a statue of Moltres, holding a red sphere)

• Pikachu: Pika. Pika Pika Pikachu. ("In there. Take the sphere from Moltres' mouth.")
• Ash: The ancient sphere.
• Rabbit: Well, get it out.

(Ash pulls with all his might)

• Pikachu: Pikachu! Pika Pika! ("Pull harder! Put your back into it!")
• Tigger; You can do it, Ashy Boy!

(Finally, the orb comes out as the wind dies down. Ash looks at the orb and sees a flame within it)

• Pikachu: Pika! ("Come on!")

(As Pooh and Pals, Ash and Pikachu head to the boat, however...)

• Meowth: Guess who, Pikachu?!
• Ash: Was that...?
• Piglet: Oh, dear.
• Tigger: Uh-oh.
• Jessie: Prepare for more trouble than you've ever seen!
• James: And make it double, we're on the big screen!
• Ash: I'll have to catch this on video!

(Team Rocket stumbles in disbelief at Ash's comment)

• Ash: I'm in a hurry here! And the weather's looking bad!
• Jessie: It has been bad. Isn't that always our luck? But our luck's changed, and our ship has finally come in!
• Winnie the Pooh: You mean that?

(Suddenly, behind them, Melody's boat comes in with the rest of the gang on board)

(Team Rocket gets out of the way in time as the boat slides down toward Pooh and Pals, Ash and Pikachu)

• Melody: Well, I hope you're happy, mister hero. If you had just listened to me in the first place and stayed at the party like I told you, we wouldn't be stranded out here on this island.
• Rabbit: (angrily) How about a "Nice to see you?" Or "Glad you're still alive?!"
• Tigger: (pounces on Rabbit, holds his mouth shut) This is no time to go into pieces, Long Ears. We got more spheres to find.
• Rabbit: Uh. Yes, of course. You're right. I'm sorry.
• Misty: Welcome to my world. I have to deal with his stubborn attitude every single day.
• Melody: Oh, you'll get used to it. It's just something you're gonna need to work on when the two of you get married.
• Misty: Take that back!
• Jessie: Listen to me, kid. When you get involved with the opposite gender, you're only asking for trouble!
• James: Yes, and that's the kind of trouble, I stay out of.
• Meowth: Yous two don't need da opposite gender, 'cause ya got each other. (laughs)
• Jessie: What does that mean?!
• James: Not funny!
• Tigger: I don't think you should talk about things like that.
• Rabbit: Tigger’s right. Wait a minute. “Tigger’s right?” That can’t be right.

(Suddenly, lightning bolts are seen coming their way. And then, they spot Zapdos overhead as Ash and Team Rocket take cover)

• Tigger: What's that? What's that?
• Ash: You guys, it's Zapdos.
• Pikachu: Pika. ("No way.")

(As Zapdos flies over them)

• Tigger: DUCK!

(they narrowly dodge the lightning that comes from it. As Zapdos comes back around, Pikachu charges up a Thunderbolt)

• Ash: Pikachu, no!

(Pikachu fires a bolt and it gets Zapdos' attention, but Zapdos sends one right back, knocking Pikachu back)

• Pooh and Pals: (gasp)
• Ash: Are you okay?!

(Zapdos lands and its bolts disappear as an aura and slight antigravity occur)

• Rabbit: It's some kind of electromagnetic field, that's why there's slight antigravity.

(Pikachu fires another bolt at Zapdos, and another, and it seems like they're both non-effective attacks)

• Jessie: Pikachu's pretty tough, but Zapdos isn't even feeling its attacks!
• Meowth: Dose aren't attacks, Jessie. Pikachu's tryin' ta talk to Zapdos. It's sayin, "What are you doin' over here on Fire Island, Zapdos, an' where's Moltres?"
• Jessie: Good questions.

(Pikachu fires another bolt, and he soon gets an answer)

• Jessie: Translation?
• James: What's it saying?
• Meowth: It's saying "Moltres used ta rule here, but now dat Moltres is gone, lightning shall rule over fire and I claim dis island as my own from dis day forward!" Heh. I guess Moltres flew da coop.

(Zapdos sends out a barrage of lightning bolts, but the bolts are soon attracted by something, and our heroes and villains take notice. It's revealed that the airship is what's attracting the lightning, and our heroes quickly take notice, amazed, though Team Rocket is terrified, at the size and look of the airship while Pikachu stands ready to attack. Inside the airship...)

• Computer: Absorbing Zapdos' electrical energy.
• Lawrence III: Drained of its power, Zapdos will be too weak to resist capture.

(Once enough energy was drained, the capture devices are sent out, but Zapdos goes up to meet them. Zapdos narrowly misses a couple, but our heroes and Team Rocket end up getting trapped)

(Ultimately, Zapdos is captured and our heroes are brought into the airship with it)

• Lawrence III: Once I capture Articuno, the real prize will appear.

(We soon see and hear Lugia within the ocean. But back in the airship, the gentleman gets the alert about our heroes and villains)

• Computer: Code blue three. When capturing Zapdos, we collected something, more.
• Lawrence III: (surprised) More?

(Down in the lower deck, our heroes are locked in a cage between Zapdos and Moltres)

• Tigger: Boy, they must really hate salesmen.
• Rabbit: Uh, suddenly getting those spheres doesn't seem like such a good idea.
• Piglet: Pooh, look! (points)

(our heroes see the captive Zapdos and Moltres)

• Tracey: Zapdos and Moltres!
• Rabbit: This is despicable.

(Melody looks and sees a tablet with the Shamouti prophecy on it)

• Melody: Hey, what's this?
• Winnie the Pooh: It's a tablet.
• Eeyore: If you ask me, not that anybody is, can you read what it says?
• Melody: Let's see. "Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice, or lightning lest these titans wreak destruction upon the world in which they clash."
• Piglet: Don't look now, but I think we have company.

(Soon, Lawrence III comes down)

• Lawrence III: Well this certainly is a pleasure, though an unexpected one. What do you think? Moltres the bird of fire and Zapdos the bird of lightning. Of course, without Articuno, it's not a complete set, but..
• Misty: That's disgusting! The way you talk, it's like Pokémon are like things to collect, like dolls or stamps! What kind of trainer are you?!
• Lawrence III: I'm afraid I'm not a trainer, young lady. I am merely, a collector.
• Rabbit: So, you're the collector Zordon warned us about: Lawrence III.
• Lawrence III: Quite correct. I began my collection with a Mew card and, now I have all this. Legendary Pokémon have always been my passion.

(As Lawrence talks, he lets our heroes and Team Rocket go)

• Lawrence III: And soon, my collection itself will be legendary.
• Winnie the Pooh: I don't suppose you'd be statisfied with a hug instead?
• Computer: Sensors indicate Articuno is changing course.
• Lawrence III: And now, you'll have to excuse me.

(Lawrence sits down and rises back into the bridge of his airship)

• Tigger: Hmm! Doesn't like hugs, huh? Hmm! How nasty can ya get? Well, I say we stand and fight! I can teach this here villain a thing or three. Why, I....
• Melody: (OS) The legend. (on screen) Could it be?

Learning about the Legend/Freeing Moltres and Zapdos/Lighting Island

(Meanwhile, Articuno is seen going on an Ice Beam frenzy, freezing everything in sight, including the ocean)

(At New York City, a rainstorm brews above, but in a sewer lair, Mewtwo and 4 Human-like Turtles looks at a news report that gives an update on the wild weather)

• TV Reporter: Here's a map of the area around Shamouti Island, the epicenter of the world wide weather disasters. Though their premise is not yet clear, tens of thousands of Pokémon are making their way toward the island. Water Pokémon are coming by sea, flying Pokémon are coming by air, and those unable to make the crossing are massing on the land nearest the island.

(A helicopter soon flies over the site where the land Pokémon are gathered, and it turns out the TV reporter is aboard, along with other passengers)

• TV Reporter: With me now are Professor Samuel Oak and Professor Philena Ivy to help shed some light on this phenomenon.
• Prof. Oak: Near Shamouti lie the islands of fire, ice, and lightning, home to the legendary birds Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos. I fear they are somehow involved. Ancient writings from many different cultures name this area, specifically the islands of fire and ice, as the cradle of the ocean. The source, if you will, of all the waters of the world. This has been disputed by scientists for centuries. But it does makes some poetic sense, when you consider what forms when you combine fire and ice.

(As Prof. Oak talks, we go back to the underwater river)

• TV Reporter: And, what about Lightning Island, Professor?
• Prof. Oak: Well, imagine if an imbalance of power occurred between lightning, ice, and fire. Here's, potentially, how the underwater current has formed. If the balance between the powers of Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres were some how disrupted, it's conceivable that a powerful underwater current, this churning beast of the sea, could, in fact, emerge from this region and ultimately flood the entire planet.
• Prof. Ivy: The Pokémon seem to be gathering because they feel a sense of impending doom. Pokémon are acutely in tune with the balance of nature. The urge to correct this imbalance is causing them to gather, possibly, to try and save the planet. Though they may be unable to do anything about it.
• TV Reporter: (notices Delia) And who are you?
• Delia: My son and his friends are traveling in the Orange Islands. And if things get as bad as Professor Oak says, I may never see my boy again. And Ash is the whole world to me.

(back at New York, Mewtwo hearing Delia's words, gets worried)

• Mewtwo: Pooh Bear. Hang in there, my friend. (closes his eyes)

(Meanwhile, at the shrine, Slowking is watching the snow storm that has occurred because of Articuno)

• Slowking: I could use pants.

(The village of Shamouti Island is revealed to be snowed in and frozen as Tobias and Carol watch from indoors)

• Carol: Melody.

(Meanwhile, the sun is beginning to rise as Articuno continues to freeze everything. Up above, Lawrence's airship looms and our heroes look down at the frozen ocean)

• Jessie: Well, this sure beats an inflight movie.
• Tigger: If only we had some popcorn.
• Winnie the Pooh: And honey.
• Rabbit: (facepalms) D'oh.
• Melody: “Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice, or lightning, lest these titans shall wreak destruction upon the world in which they clash.” What if the ancient legend is coming true?
• James: If it is true, all intelligent life will be destroyed.
• Jessie: That's right.
• Piglet: And we'll be...
• Meowth: You, will be fine.
• Eeyore: Well, Now that we know the problem, what will we do now?
• Ash: We gotta do something.
• Misty: We have to set Moltres and Zapdos free!
• Tracey: Yeah, but how?

(Ash tries running up to the capture devices that hold Moltres, but gets knocked down by their power)

• Pikachu: Pika Pi! ("Ash!")
• Rabbit: Brute force won't work. Let's try using some of your Pokémon!

(The airship soon looms near one of the islands as Articuno flies in)

• Lawrence III: Time to turn up the heat.

(The cannons activate and fire at Articuno, but it evades the shots. Under the sea, Lugia senses the battle and creates a giant underwater cyclone. Meanwhile, inside the airship, Pikachu tries freeing Moltres, but to no avail)

• Ash: I choose you, Charizard!

(Charizard materializes)

• Tigger: Charizard, use Flamethrower on Moltres's cage.

(Charizard fires a Flamethrower at the devices holding Moltres, but that doesn't help either, even when combined with Pikachu's electricity)

• Misty: Fire and electricity aren't enough!
• Tracey: We can't just give up, we've gotta keep trying!

(Team Rocket turns to Zapdos)

• Jessie: Well, if things are going to start to get ugly, we might as well try Weezing.
• James: Right, go!

(Weezing materializes and tries ramming into the capture devices, but it gets knocked into a forcefield surrounding a piece of Lawrence's collection and to the floor)

• Meowth: Come on, ya big palooka! Get up an' fight!
• Jessie: (grunts) Let's try Arbok!

(Arbok materializes)

• Jessie: Now, Arbok, use Poison Sting!

(Arbok opens fire, but the capture devices still stand)

• Ash: Squirtle, Bulbasaur, I choose you!

(Squirtle and Bulbasaur materialize)

• Rabbit: Squirtle use Water Gun and Bulbasaur use Vine Whip.

(Squirtle launches a Water Gun while Bulbasaur uses Vine Whip.)

(At that moment, an explosion occurs, freeing Moltres)

• Pooh and Pals: (gasp)

(Moltres fires it's Flamethrower)

• Tigger: DUCK!

(Moltres frees Zapdos. Soon, the two legendary Pokémon escape to do battle. And up on the bridge of the airship, Lawrence watches as Zapdos and Moltres bring the airship down)

• Computer: Mayday! (x2) Prepare for crash landing on Lightning Island.

(Right on cue, the airship crashes and our heroes rush to get out)

• Rabbit: There's our way out, forward march!

(Everyone escapes the airship, but Ash, his friends, and Team Rocket tumble all the way down to the ground)

• Piglet: (slips) Whoa!
• Pooh: (slips) Oh, bother.

(Tigger, Rabbit, and Eeyore (already down) runs as the others tumble down, they quickly get back up off-screen and continue running as one of the propellers on the airship destroys a nearby shrine. As a result, the yellow sphere rolls right up to Ash)

• Pikachu: Pika Pika! ("The yellow sphere!")

(Ash looks at the lightning bolt within when Zapdos shows up)

• Misty: Look out!
• Tigger: Make a break for it!

(Everyone runs to escape Zapdos' bolts. Meanwhile, under the frozen ocean, Lugia continues to race to the surface. Up above, Moltres and Articuno are locked in combat until Zapdos swoops in)

• Jessie: I'd hate to get burned by their fire!
• James: I'd hate to get zapped by their lightning!
• Meowth: I'd hate to get hit by, their droppings!
• Eeyore: Or get frozen by their ice!
• Rabbit: Everyone aboard the boat!

(Everyone gets on board the speedboat as Zapdos opens a water channel for them to escape. However, they go down a massive waterfall that was made with the channel, but at the last moment, Lugia's water cyclone saves their lives and our heroes hear Lugia's song as it takes them to shore.)

• Melody: What's that sound?

(Pooh and Pals looks at Rabbit for answers)

• Rabbit: Eh, don't look at me.

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket uncovers a life raft)

• Jessie: Quick! We may need this!

(Team Rocket brings out the life raft as the water cyclone takes everyone to the Shamouti Shrine and drops them off the hard way. Everyone manages to disembark before the boat goes over the edge of the cliff.)

• Tigger: Phew! That sure was a close call. One slip and it's game over.

Meet Slowking and Lugia/Lugia speaks/Team Rocket to the Rescue

(Soon, everyone meets the Slowking that watches over the shrine)

• Slowking: (points to Ash and the spheres) Take the treasure, (points to the shrine) and put it there.
• Ash: You can talk?
• Pikachu: Pika Pika. ("Get the spheres out.")
• Ash: Oh, right. (gets the spheres out)
• Pikachu: Pikachu! ("In the shrine!")

(Ash follows Pikachu to the shrine)

(Ash reaches the shrine and through it and sees the islands where the spheres were placed)

• Ash: Fire Island. (puts the fire sphere in place) Lightning Island. (puts the lightning sphere in place)
• Slowking: So, you're Ash?

(Ash gets spooked by Slowking's sudden appearance next to him)

• Slowking: You're one treasure short.
• Ash: Yeah, I know, but, (to Slowking) how'd you know my name?

(Suddenly, Ash sees the three legendary birds battle over the frozen sea, as does everyone else, until Ash has enough)

• Ash: Cut it out!

(But the three birds keep battling, until the cyclone from earlier rises up again and attacks all three of them. Everyone is amazed when they see a figure in the cyclone)

(The cyclone fades to reveal, Lugia)

• Tigger: What's that? What's that?
• Slowking: The great guardian! Lugia!
• Melody: I can't believe it!
• Ash: Lugia?
• Pikachu: Pika! ("Lugia!")

(Lugia lets out a call to the other legendary birds)

• Melody: That sound! (gets out her flute)

(Meanwhile, far away from the shrine, Lawrence spots Lugia through his telescope)

• Lawrence III: Finally, my prize. It's magnificent. The beast of the sea will soon belong, to me.

(The three legendary birds proceed to attack Lugia, but it effortlessly dodges their attacks and then folds down its back flaps and dives headfirst into the frozen sea, creating another cyclone and nearly striking the birds with it. Articuno freeze the cyclone solid, but Lugia breaks free easily. The three give chase and attack, but all three of their attacks are blocked by a shield Lugia creates to defend itself and reflects them back at the three birds. All the while, our heroes watch)

• Melody: “Though the guardian of the sea shall arise to quell the fighting, alone its song will fail. Thus the earth shall turn to ash.”
• Slowking: This looks bad.
• Tigger: You could say that again.

(After several encounters, Lugia is finally hit by all three birds and goes down through the ice and into the ocean, and the three birds seal the hole it made on impact as they return to fighting each other. Up in the air, the news chopper approaches)

• Delia: What are Ash and his friends doing out in this terrible weather? I'm worried about them.
• Prof. Oak: Save a little worry for us!
• Prof. Ivy: The fate of our planet is what we should really be worried about. And the Pokémon know that better than any of us.

(On the frozen sea, a Gyarados Hyper Beam leads the Pokémon of the sea forward to Shamouti Island while the Pokémon of the land travel along the frozen waters and the Pokémon of the air approach by air. They all soon halt near Shamouti Island)

• Piglet: Look at all the Pokémon that gathered around us!
• Tigger: There must be tens of thousands of them!
• Rabbit: Zordon did say that Pokémon are more in tune with nature than humans, so maybe they came to see if they could help when they sensed the disaster.
• Eeyore: Well, Now that we know what’s up, what will we do now?
• Slowking: There's only one hope. Only the chosen one can bring together the treasures to help the water's great guardian.
• Melody: But the legend says “it's song will fail.”
• Slowking: And “thus the earth shall turn to ash.”
• Melody: But how are we gonna find the chosen one if we don't even know where to look?
• Winnie the Pooh: (thinking then realizes something) Of course. (giggles) The Legend said it.
• Misty: Pooh's right! “The earth shall turn to ash!”
• Tracey: Ash, it's talking about you.
• Ash: I'm the, chosen one?
• Pikachu: Pika Pikachu. ("You are, the chosen one.")
• Ash: (backs up) Wait a minute. Training Pokémon's tough enough, but saving the world is way too hard.
• Rabbit: Wait a minute. (shakes his head) Wait a minute! You can't just give up. You did that last time.
• Misty: I know it doesn't sound easy, Ash.
• Tracey: But you're the only one who matches the legend perfectly.
• Tigger: Yeah, Ashy Boy. You did it before and you can do it again. What do you say?
• Ash: Well, right now, I wish my mom had named me Bob instead of Ash.
• Melody: Ash, this whole thing is my fault. I –I never should've dragged you into this.
• Ash: Well, I guess I gotta go along with that.
• Misty: Don't blame yourself. Ash always gets us into trouble.
• Ash: Yeah, but nothing like this.

(Melody realizes something)

• Tigger: What's up?
• Melody: Lugia! (gets out her flute) The sound it makes is just like the song from the legend!

(Melody proceeds to play Lugia's song, this allows Lugia to awaken and return to the surface)

• Lugia: The song. The song has restored my strength.
• Rabbit: Telepathy.
• Winnie the Pooh: Just like Mewtwo.

(Everyone is in shock and awe when they see and hear Lugia)

• Lugia: But it alone cannot bring harmony to the three warring ones.
• Ash: What do you mean?
• Lugia: When the treasures of fire, ice, and lightning are aligned, my song shall harmonize with their powers, and tame the beasts both above and below the sea. But this can come to pass only with the help of the chosen one.
• Ash: But what can I do that somebody else can't?
• Lugia: Only in the hands of the true chosen one will the ice sphere glow like the others, its power awakened.
• Ash: (worried) I have to go, there?
• Lugia: The choice is yours. You must go only where your heart leads.
• Ash: Maybe, I...

(As looks at the three warring legends, but Pikachu encourages him)

• Pikachu: Pikachu. ("You can do it.")
• Ash: I can?
• Pikachu: Pika. ("You can.")

(Soon, all of Ash's Pokémon materialize)

• Ash: You think so, too?

(All of Ash's Pokémon agree)

• Rabbit: Even your Pokémon agrees.
• Winnie the Pooh: Yes. We'll even help you get that last treasure and back, or my name isn't Winnie the Pooh. Which it is.
• Ash: Okay. (tears up) I'll do whatever it takes to get that third treasure. But, what if I mess up? What if... I...
• Misty: You can do it.
• Melody: We know you can.
• Ash: Yeah, you're right. I can do it! I'm the chosen one!
• Rabbit: Excellent decision! Now put your combat gear on, this is a dangerous mission, and we cannot afford any mistakes. The fate of the Pokémon World is in our hands.

Ice Island/Under Attack/"The One that Can Make all the Difference is You"

(Ash, Pikachu. and Pooh and Pals then set out for Ice Island, but the deep snow makes their travel slow)

• Ash: Right now, I feel more like the frozen one!

(Ash trips and falls face first into the snow but gets back up)

• Ash: Maybe they got the wrong Ash.
• Eeyore: If you ask me, not that anybody is, what we need a faster way to get there.
• Pikachu: Pika Pika! ("Look over there!")

(Ash looks to where Pikachu points and sees the boat Melody and the others used to reach Fire Island, only it's destroyed after falling off the cliff where Shamouti Shrine sits. However, Ash gets an idea when he sees what looks like a sled inside it. Soon, Ash is traveling on his small sled with Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charizard pulling as Lugia flies overhead)

• Ash: This is a lot better than walking, guys! We'll be there in no time, now!
• Pikachu: Pikachu! ("We're moving now!")
• Tigger: Ice Island, here we come!
• Misty: Good luck, Ash.

(On a cliff above, Team Rocket watches as Ash rushes toward Ice Island)

• Jessie: (shrugs) They're always the heroes.
• James: We're always a zero.
• Meowth: We could be heroes, too, if we ever caught a break.

(Team Rocket soon hears and sees the helicopter Professor Oak, Professor Ivy, and Delia are in as it crashes far away from them. Thankfully, everyone's okay. Team Rocket soon spots the tail rotor, torn off the helicopter from the crash, then look at the life raft behind them, and get an idea)

• Team Rocket: I got an idea!

(Meanwhile, Pooh and Pals, Ash and his Pokémon continue toward Ice Island, but Moltres and Zapdos spot them and attack.)

• Tigger: Look out! We're under attack!

(But Charizard and Pikachu block the attacks. The smoke of the resulting explosion blows away to reveal Articuno heading towards them, but Lugia saves them from getting frozen. Zapdos and Moltres attempt to attack from the sides, but Lugia prevents them from doing anything. The three birds proceed to attack Lugia, but one of Zapdos' Thunder bolts strikes the frozen sea, creating a ramp that Ash and his team nearly go up, though Ash recalls Charizard before they do. Once on the ground, Ash and his Pokémon retreat from the coming water, but Articuno's Ice Beam freezes it. Ash and his Pokémon look as Articuno's Ice Beam not only stopped the water, but created a wall of ice preventing them from getting to Ice Island)

• Winnie the Pooh: Oh, bother. Hmmph.
• Ash: We'll never get there, now.
• Piglet: Oh, what should we do, fellas?
• Rabbit: I'm thinking, I'm thinking.
• Tigger: Can I think?
• Rabbit: (glares at Tigger)
• Tigger; (laughs nervously)

(Suddenly, the gang hears a motor)

• Winnie the Pooh: What was that?

(Ash turns, he sees something coming towards him and his Pokémon)

• Ash: Who could that be?

(It's revealed that it's none other than Team Rocket)

• Jessie: If that kid thinks we're here for trouble...
• James: We're certainly going to burst his bubble.
• Jessie: Instead of causing tribulation...
• James: We've undergone a transformation.
• Jessie: Though it's way outside our usual range...
• James: We're going to do something nice for a change.
• Jessie: Jessie!
• James: James!
• Jessie: Up till now, Team Rocket's been quite unscrupulous.
• James: Being good guys for once would be super-dupulous!
• Meowth: Dat's right!
• Ash: What are they doing here?
• Winnie the Pooh: Maybe they want to help us?
• Tigger: Oh that's impossi-bibble.
• Rabbit: "Help us" indeed.

(Soon, Ash and the gang is aboard Team Rocket's makeshift motorboat and flies over the ice wall)

• Rabbit: You're helping us?!
• James: Of course!
• Jessie: We don't want the world destroyed!
• James: Even if we survived...
• Jessie: There'd be no one left to steal from!
• James: We'd be out of work!
• Jessie: Come to think of it, when was the last time we had a vacation?
• Meowth: We'll be on a poimanent vacation if we don't get ta dat island! Let's do it!

(And so, with three new, yet temporary, allies, Ash rushes toward Ice Island. Soon, Moltres flies alongside)

• Jessie: Evasive maneuvers!
• Team Rocket: On the double!

(The group narrowly avoids Moltres' Incinerate, and Zapdos' Thunder when it attacks, though Lugia forces Zapdos back. Lugia also blocks an Ice Beam from Articuno and proceeds after it while Ash and Team Rocket race towards the island. Finally, they reach the frozen shore of Ice Island and race uphill towards the shrine where the ice sphere awaits, and they soon see the shrine and the cave where the sphere rests)

• Ash: Up there!
• Pikachu: Pikachu! ("Almost there!")

(The team races through the cave and finally stop at the foot of the shrine)

• Pikachu: Pika! ("It's there!")
• Tigger: Let's Go!

(Ash and Pikachu approach the Articuno statue)

• Pikachu: Pikachu! ("The ice sphere!")

(Ash retrieves the sphere, and within it, what looks like a bolt from an Ice Beam attack is seen)

• Pikachu: Pika! ("To the shrine!")
• Meowth: Okay, you got da t'oid treasure! Now, come on! Let's get back ta da island!
• Jessie: Right!
• James: I almost forgot!
• Rabbit: Hurry, hurry! There's not a moment to lose.

(Everyone rushes to the boat, but Articuno spots them)

• Tigger: Look out! We're under attack!

(However, they manage to depart before Articuno's Ice Beam hits. However, one of Zapdos' Thunder bolts strikes, sending the group flying back. And a blast of Incinerate from Moltres destroys the boat while our heroes manage to evade it. But the exit is blocked, to they can't get out as the three birds continue to fight. Ultimately, Moltres and Zapdos get the upper hand on Articuno, forcing it down)

• Pikachu: Pika! Pikachu! ("Up here! Hurry up!")

(Meowth hears Pikachu and decides they should follow)

• Meowth: Come on, let's go!
• Tigger: Let's Go!

(Everyone follows Pikachu down the slope of the mountain when Lugia flies in alongside)

• Lugia: The treasure?
• Ash: I got it! (pulls it out)
• Lugia: (nods) Get on!
• Rabbit: Hurry, hurry! There's not a moment to lose.

(Ash puts the sphere back in his pocket)

• Ash: Pikachu!

(Pikachu climbs onto Ash and they and Pooh and Pals both board Lugia)

• Jessie: Don't leave without us!

(Team Rocket manages to grab on to Lugia's leg as he takes to the air, but Zapdos and Moltres go on the attack as they all rush towards Shamouti, so Lugia decides to go higher)

• Lugia: Hold on tight.

(Everyone does so as Lugia continues to dodge attacks left and right. But Jessie realizes something)

• Jessie: We're slowing Lugia down! The three of us are too heavy!
• James: Let's try Weight Watchers!
• Jessie: It's too late for that!
• Meowth: I hoid dat it's never too late if you really stick to da program!

(Lugia continues to dodge Thunder attacks from Zapdos)

• Jessie: If we don't let go, they may not make it back!
• James: Let's protect the world from devastation!
• Meowth: Guess we gotta let go.
• Jessie: Are you guys ready?
• James: Let's do it!

(Team Rocket lets go of Lugia, and Ash quickly notices)

• Pooh and Pals: (gasp)
• Ash: What are you doing?!
• Team Rocket: Team Rocket's blasting off for good!!!
• Ash, Pooh, and Pals: Team Rocket!!!
• Jessie: Think we did the right thing?
• James: I know we did the right thing, Jessie. And it feels great.
• Meowth: Well, dis is it, den!
• Jessie: Let's not say goodbye.
• James: Let's just say...
• Meowth: We're gonna die.

(Team Rocket falls into the ocean, but quickly surface, only to find themselves face to face with a bunch of wild Pokémon. Meanwhile, up above)

• Winnie the Pooh: Excuse me, Lugia. Why are all those Pokémon all the way down there?
• Lugia: Because they feel they must be here, in case they are needed.
• Piglet: But what can they do to help?
• Lugia: They are not sure, and that is why they are here.
• Ash: What do you mean?
• Lugia: That just one Pokémon could help the world would be worth the journey for thousands of them any day. But this day, the one that can make all the difference, is you.

(Ash and Pikachu agree as they near the island)

Lawrence III attempts to capture Lugia/"He's got Me"/Heading to the Shrine

• Misty: Please, hurry.
• Melody: Let's hope the, legend is true.
• Ash: Hey!
• Rabbit: Yes! Nothing can stop us now!

(However, as Ash waves and calls to his friends, Lawrence attacks by launching capture devices all the way from Lightning Island, which seem to trap Lugia)

• Lawrence III: Soon, Lugia, you will be mine and my destiny will be fulfilled at last.

(The trapped Lugia, Pooh and Pals, Ash, and Pikachu fall into the frozen sea, but quickly resurface and Lugia uses up what power it has left to launch an Aeroblast attack in order to destroy what remains of Lawrence's airship, and then another one grazes two of the legendary birds and frees Lugia, Pooh and Pals, Ash, and Pikachu, but sends them plummeting to the sea below)

(Lugia falls into the ocean, unconscious, while Pooh and Pals, Ash and Pikachu surface, though Ash is unconscious as well)

• Pooh and Tigger: (spitting up water)
• Rabbit: Ooh, that Lawrence III!
• Piglet: Oh, d-d-dear.
• Winnie the Pooh: Where's Ash and Pikachu?
• Pikachu: Pika Pika! ("Wake up, buddy!")
• Rabbit: Oh, no.

(Down in the ocean, Lugia continues to sink)

• Lugia: I, have failed.

(Down in the ocean, the current gets stronger. On the surface, another storm brews up with tornadoes, rough waters, and lightning.)

• Rabbit: It's getting worse.
• Tigger: That collector. Looks like it's the end. (faints)
• Piglet: Oh, dear.
• Eeyore: We're all gonna die.

(On the island, the rest of our heroes worry when they spot Ash in the ocean and knocked out)

• Melody: (hands Misty her flute) Here. Take this.

(Misty is puzzled)

• Melody: Legend or not, Ash can't do this alone.

(Misty turns her down)

• Misty: You'll have to play Lugia's song. I'll help the others go look for him. And Ash is never really alone because he's got... me.

(Melody and Misty reconcile)

(Meanwhile, Pooh and Pals, Ash and Pikachu are still in the ocean)

• Pikachu: Pika Pi! Pika! ("Ash! Wake up!")
• Rabbit: Pikachu, there's nothing we can do.
• Tigger: We need to get out of here.
• Piglet: But how?
• Winnie the Pooh: Think, think. Think. (hears something and turns)

(Soon, a voice is heard)

• Misty: (O.S.) Ash!
• Winnie the Pooh: Look! (sees Misty swimming) It's Misty!
• Pikachu: Pikachu Pi! ("We're here, Misty!")
• Tigger; Misty!
• Eeyore: Over here!
• Misty: Pikachu! Guys! Just hang on!

(Misty pulls on the line she was attached to herself and Tracey pulls her in while the air Pokémon land. Soon, Tracey pulls Misty and Ash ashore)

• Tracey: Ash!
• Piglet: We're all w-w-w-w-wet.
• Eeyore: (shakes) That happens when you've been out in a not so frozen sea, Piglet.
• Misty: (starts giving Ash rescue compressions) Come on, Ash! Breathe!
• Tracey: You've got to!
• Tigger: Get up, Ashy Boy.
• Rabbit: If you don't, the world is doomed.
• Piglet: P-p-please wake up.
• Pikachu: Pika Pi! ("Ash!")
• Misty: Please, Ash! Please! You can't...

(Soon, Ash wakes up)

• Winnie the Pooh: He's awake!
• Rabbit: Thanks goodness.
• Ash: (bolts up) The sphere!

(Ash pulls out the sphere and knows what must be done)

The Legend Comes to Life/Crisis Averted

(Ash gets up, but struggles to stay standing as he tries to walk to the shrine)

• Misty: Ash.
• Ash: Let me go! I gotta do this!
• Rabbit: He's right. He has to place that sphere in the shrine. Only then can the prophecy be fulfilled and the world saved.

(Everyone follows Ash as he makes his way up to the shrine, though he stumbles at first, but he presses on)

• Rabbit: “Oh, chosen one, into thine hands bring together all three.”
• Winnie the Pooh: “Their treasures combined, tame the beast of the sea.”

(At last, Ash makes it to the shrine, to the happiness of Togepi, Slowking, and Melody)

• Melody: He made it!
• Slowking: Have you brought the final treasure, Ash?
• Ash: (gets out the sphere and almost hands it to him) Here it is, Slowking.
• Slowking: (points to the shrine) You must be the one to place it.

(Ash places the final sphere in its place, facing Ice Island. The spheres begin to glow, and a burst of light goes around the shrine and some kind of green glowing water flows out of the shrine and goes all around it, lighting up the runes around it and turning them to crystal, to the amazement of everyone)

• Misty: The song!

(Melody nods, goes to the shrine, pulls out her flute, and begins to play. As she does, the runes light up green with every note. Far away, the worn out legendary birds hear the song. The weather then returns to normal as the tornadoes fade and the sea calms. The green water flows out of the shrine and down to the ocean below. The three legendary birds see this and take flight. Soon, Lugia rises from the ocean and takes flight as well as the clouds part, allowing the sun to shine. Within seconds, the world is returned to normal as Lugia lands before our heroes and motions for Ash to climb on. Both Ash and Lugia take off as our heroes watch)

(Soon, as Ash and Lugia fly, the underwater current emerges for all, including Lawrence, to see. Up above, Ash and Lugia are joined by the legendary birds as the Pokémon beneath them return to where they came from as our heroes take in the sights and celebrate Meanwhile, at the Command Center)

• Alpha 5: Oh, look Zordon,
• Zordon: We are watching history in the making, Alpha. Finally, the Prophecy has been fulfilled! The titans of fire, ice, and lightning have been calmed, the beast of the sea has been tamed, and the world has been saved!
• Alpha 5: Hooray!

(Soon, the current returns to the ocean while the legendary birds return to their islands. Soon, the runes return to stone as Melody finishes her song, drops to her knees, and holds her flute close to her heart. In the town, the people of Shamouti are speechless about the weather returning to normal)

• TV Reporter: And, as you can see from these live pictures, the severe weather that's caused havoc around the globe has finally ended.

(Camera fades to black and fades back in at the Shamouti Shrine as the sun sets and Lugia prepares to depart)

• Lugia: The beast of the sea has been tamed. The fate of the world could not have been in better hands.

(Lugia soon departs and returns to the sea)

• Rabbit: Farewell, mighty guardian of the sea!
• Winnie the Pooh: You did it, Ash. You saved the entire world.
• Ash: Yeah. But I couldn't have done it without you.

Meeting Ash's Mom, Delia/Ending

(Soon, a familiar voice is heard)

• Delia: Ash! (x2)

(Ash turns and sees his mother, Professor Oak, and Professor Ivy coming)

• Prof. Oak: Oh, my lumbago!
• Ash: It's my mom!
• Tigger: In the flesh.

(Delia approaches our heroes)

• Delia: Alright, start talking! You are in big trouble, mister!
• Rabbit: (stutters) Now, see here you...
• Tracey: Hold on.
• Misty: But Mrs. Ketchum...Ash just helped save the whole world!
• Tigger: With some help from his amazing new amigos.
• Delia: Oh, he did, did he? Well, I could have lost my whole world!
• Ash: Huh?
• Delia: Everyday I just worry about you and wonder if you're alright. I know I can't stop you from doing the things you need to do, I just can't help missing you all the time. You're a Pokémon trainer, and that's just how it is. But next time, could you try to save the world just a little closer to home?
• Ash: I guess I could give it a try.
• Delia: And remember, every day, you're my hero.
• Ash: Thanks, mom.
• Pikachu: Pikachu.
• Prof. Oak: We've got to get back to Pallet Town and tell the other Pokémon researchers about this! Come on!

(Both professors rush off)

(New York at night)

• Mewtwo: Time to continue my journey. (newspaper hits leg) Hmm? (looks at it) That boy again. (puts newspaper in bag) This human maybe more powerful than I thought. Time to pay a visit to my friends. (leaves)

(Shamouti Island at night)

• Lawrence III: (picks up his Mew card) How it all began, and how I’ll begin again. (smiles)

(the next day, Team Rocket climbs up)

• Jessie: Who’d believe it?
• James: For once, we were heroes.
• Meowth: Too bad nobody saw us.
• Slowking: (OS) Guess again.
• Team Rocket: Hmm?
• Jessie: What…did you…say?
• Slowking: Lots of people saw what you did out there. And all of them are watching you right now. (turns towards the screen)

(Team Rocket turns as well)

• Jessie: Oh. Then I guess the bad guys…
• James: Are finally….
• Meowth: Good guys!
• Jessie: (OS) So then, we’re not bad.
• James: (OS) That’s good.
• Meowth: (OS) What if the Boss finds out?
• James: That’s bad.
• Jessie: We’ll start our own team.
• James: That’s good.
• Meowth: But, we got no money.
• James: That’s bad.
• Jessie: Then we’ll just steal some.
• James: That’s good. Or is that bad? Oh.

Bonus Ending

(a hole between Time and Space opens as Pooh and Pals lands at the Command Center)

• Alpha 5: Uh-oh. Incoming.
• Tigger: Whew! What a rush.
• Rabbit: At least we're back where we started.
• Zordon: So, my friends. May I assume that your mission was a success?
• Piglet: Yes sir, Zordon. We managed to save the Legendary Birds and the World.
• Tigger: With some help from Ashy Boy, of course. (purrs)
• Winnie the Pooh: Excuse me, Zordon.
• Zordon: Yes, Pooh? What is it?
• Winnie the Pooh: The village elder of Shamouti Island said to use that we too are Chosen Ones. What did he mean by that?
• Mewtwo: (OS) Chosen to be the heroes of the Ultimate Battle. (appears)
• Pooh and Pals: Mewtwo!
• Mewtwo: It's been a long time, my friends.
• Zordon: I trust your first mission was a success.
• Mewtwo: Yes. My adopted family trained me well.
• Piglet: Adopted family?
• Mewtwo: You'll meet them someday.
• Eeyore: It figures.
• Rabbit: So, what's this "Ultimate Battle" you speak of?
• Zordon: Listen carefully, my friends. Soon, you'll meet an evil that is beyond all imagination.
• Piglet: Oh, what a frightful thought.
• Rabbit: An evil greater than Jafar or Ursula? Who?

(Scene fades to Dark Land, No One Lives Forever plays a train approaches the Dark Lands, Bowser appears laughing evilly until Castle Koopa is shown)

• Kamek: (a Boo passes by) Daah! (looks at his list) Okay. (sees the train) Ah-ha! Oh, here they come.

(train begins to stop as No One Lives Forever ends, Maleficent, The Grand Duke of Owls, The Joker, Dr. Facilier, and Hades steps out of the train)

• Kamek: All right, all right, everybody. Settle down, folks. Settle down. I'm Kamek the Magikoopa, and welcome to our Dark Lands Train Station. In other words, the station where we train you to be Potential Recruits and soldiers for the soon to be reborn New United Alliance of Evil in memoriam of our Great Patriarch and Founder, Dark Specter. Get it?

(villains shakes their heads)

• Kamek: Okay. (pulls down a wall of Worlds, Heroes, Villains, Allies) pictures) Over the next few weeks, you, the rookies will be learning the A-B-C's of the Heroes and Villains in the Multiverse. (Chuckles)

(the Joker grumbles)

• Kamek: Okay again. At which time, you will be issued a tour guide of Castle Koopa. All right, now you newbies, file through here! Ready, March! (Kamek and the Villain Rookies go to the entrance of the castle) All right, everybody come on. What are you looking at?

(the Passengers file through the entrance)

• Kamek: Move! I am Kamek the Magikoopa. I told you, keep on movin'. March, march, march. (to The Joker) Hey, You didn't laugh at my jokes. (Hades shakes his head) (reads the clipboard) And the grand total is five. (shocked) What's Goin' on? There is a possibility of Eltarian Magic activity on Earth. That's Impossible.

(shows the Images of Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Rabbit, Tigger, Eeyore, Reuniting with Mewtwo and Zordon)

• Kamek: Those Stuffed Animals, Mewtwo, and.....Zordon of Eltar!? Oh, no! Who brought him back? (pushes the buttons and sees the Photo of the Good Fairy) "The Good Fairy?"

(Kamek becomes nervous knowing the Prophecy of the Ultimate Battle and Bowser would be furious after Hearing Zordon of Eltar's Name, in the castle, Bowser Koopa is Reading the Newspaper Article of Ash Ketchum's Champion Victory)

• Bowser Koopa (O.S.): 25 Years Champion, eh? That brat and his friends, as well as his Pikachu will be an obstacle to my plans. No wonder Giovanni's Three Idiots, Cassidy and Butch and those other evil organizations have had a long history of continuous failures against him. It's like sending a fence of brainless apes fighting for bananas. No matter. Since Zordon of Eltar is no longer here, I will have special plans in store for him.
• Kamek: (appears) Sire?
• Bowser: (calmly) What?
• Kamek: A report from our intelligence. Zordon of Eltar has returned to life by his most powerful daughter, the Good Fairy.
• Bowser: (growls)
• Kamek: He has recruited the renegade Pokémon, Mewtwo, and 5 living breathing toy animals. He is up to something, sire.
• Bowser: Sit. Jam with me.

(Bowser and Kamek play the piano)

• Bowser: These toy animals, where did they come from?
• Kamek: We....aren't sure?, But they were sighted in Kanto Region, in the Shamouti Islands of the Orange Islands rumor has it that they ran into Pokémon League World Champion Ash Ketchum, the Little Kid that those Fools Jessie, James, and Meowth of Team Rocket have been chasing him for years.
• Bowser: Tell me Something, Are they "the Ones who will stop me?"
• Kamek: Sire, look in the mirror. You have nothing to worry about.
• Bowser: I know that. I'm not threatened. (slams piano door)
• Kamek: (screams in pain)
• Bowser: Find out who they are, (shows Article of Ash Ketchum's Champion Victory) also get me more info on this kid, and what they're planning!
• Kamek: I'm on it, sire. May I lift the cover?
• Bowser: Not yet. Pain is the best teacher.
• Kamek: (groans in pain)

(Scene: Main Chamber)

• Bowser: That useless Collector with Hawk Moth complex, Lawrence III has failed against that kid .
• Mysterious Cloaked Figure: (laughs) You seem to have underestimated the boy, and something tells me that those five supposed chosen ones were behind this.
• Bowser: Yes. but What if Kamek said is true. If Zordon of Eltar is back and alive, this could mean Trouble. It has been many years since my children and I were locked and Exiled in that accursed dumpster which Rita was Prisoner after her last Encounter with the Power Rangers after Trini Kwan's Death. We must make sure of everything, and the first thing is to make the United Alliance of Evil reborn from it's Ashes and finishing what that Traitor Astronema Started.
• Mysterious Cloaked Figure: Don’t worry. I have a plan to catch Zordon’s Chosen Warriors for you. Now that I helped you by providing you with a Queen and you giving my minions back in return, we’ll help you get them.
• Bowser: See to it, old friend. And don’t fail me.
• Mysterious Cloaked Figure: Don’t worry. (reveals himself to be Lord Zedd) I won’t. (teleports)
• Bowser: Zordon, Good Fairy, and Mewtwo my old friends, you think and your Champions you'll try to stop me this time, don't you? Well….you will. Oh, you will. Everything falls into place, Everything falls.
• Mysterious Female Voice (OS): For once we Agree.

(Then a Mysterious young Female Appears revealing as a Clone of Hotaru Tomoe)

• Bowser: Soon we'll be together once more. Soon.

(Then she transforms into as Mistress Nine in front of him with an Evil Smirk)

(then the Scene fades to Serena Tsukino's House where Rini was Asleep as she awakes after seeing the Prophetic Dream)

• Rini: Mistress Nine...has returned.
• Rini (VO): And on top of that I saw them again, they are the same ones who kidnapped me and Hotaru, oh no it will happen again.

(She sees a Portrait of Herself with Serena, the Girls and Pooh and his Friends)

• Rini (VO): Pooh Bear, Boys...

(Outside the House)

• Good Fairy (OS): It has Begun...
