== Meet Slowking and Lugia/Lugia speaks/Team Rocket to the Rescue ==
(Soon, everyone meets the Slowking that watches over the shrine)
* Slowking: (points to Ash and the spheres) Take the treasure, (points to the shrine) and put it there.
* Ash: You can talk?
* Pikachu: Pika Pika. ("Get the spheres out.")
* Ash: Oh, right. (gets the spheres out)
* Pikachu: Pikachu! ("In the shrine!")

(Ash follows Pikachu to the shrine)

(Ash reaches the shrine and through it and sees the islands where the spheres were placed)

* Ash: Fire Island. (puts the fire sphere in place) Lightning Island. (puts the lightning sphere in place)
* Slowking: So, you're Ash?

(Ash gets spooked by Slowking's sudden appearance next to him)

* Slowking: You're one treasure short.
* Ash: Yeah, I know, but, (to Slowking) how'd you know my name?

(Suddenly, Ash sees the three legendary birds battle over the frozen sea, as does everyone else, until Ash has enough)

* Ash: Cut it out!

(But the three birds keep battling, until the cyclone from earlier rises up again and attacks all three of them. Everyone is amazed when they see a figure in the cyclone)

(The cyclone fades to reveal, Lugia)

* Tigger: What's that? What's that?
* Slowking: The great guardian! Lugia!
* Melody: I can't believe it!
* Ash: Lugia?
* Pikachu: Pika! ("Lugia!")

(Lugia lets out a call to the other legendary birds)

* Melody: That sound! (gets out her flute)

(Meanwhile, far away from the shrine, Lawrence spots Lugia through his telescope)

* Lawrence III: Finally, my prize. It's magnificent. The beast of the sea will soon belong, to me.

(The three legendary birds proceed to attack Lugia, but it effortlessly dodges their attacks and then folds down its back flaps and dives headfirst into the frozen sea, creating another cyclone and nearly striking the birds with it. Articuno freeze the cyclone solid, but Lugia breaks free easily. The three give chase and attack, but all three of their attacks are blocked by a shield Lugia creates to defend itself and reflects them back at the three birds. All the while, our heroes watch)

* Melody: “Though the guardian of the sea shall arise to quell the fighting, alone its song will fail. Thus the earth shall turn to ash.”
* Slowking: This looks bad.
* Tigger: You could say that again.

(After several encounters, Lugia is finally hit by all three birds and goes down through the ice and into the ocean, and the three birds seal the hole it made on impact as they return to fighting each other. Up in the air, the news chopper approaches)

* Delia: What are Ash and his friends doing out in this terrible weather? I'm worried about them.
* Prof. Oak: Save a little worry for us!
* Prof. Ivy: The fate of our planet is what we should really be worried about. And the Pokémon know that better than any of us.

(On the frozen sea, a Gyarados Hyper Beam leads the Pokémon of the sea forward to Shamouti Island while the Pokémon of the land travel along the frozen waters and the Pokémon of the air approach by air. They all soon halt near Shamouti Island)

* Piglet: Look at all the Pokémon that gathered around us!
* Tigger: There must be tens of thousands of them!
* Rabbit: Zordon did say that Pokémon are more in tune with nature than humans, so maybe they came to see if they could help when they sensed the disaster.
*Eeyore: Well, Now that we know what’s up, what will we do now?
* Slowking: There's only one hope. Only the chosen one can bring together the treasures to help the water's great guardian.
* Melody: But the legend says “it's song will fail.”
* Slowking: And “thus the earth shall turn to ash.”
* Melody: But how are we gonna find the chosen one if we don't even know where to look?
* Winnie the Pooh: (thinking then realizes something) Of course. (giggles) The Legend said it.
* Misty: Pooh's right! “The earth shall turn to ash!”
* Tracey: Ash, it's talking about you.
* Ash: I'm the, chosen one?
* Pikachu: Pika Pikachu. ("You are, the chosen one.")
* Ash: (backs up) Wait a minute. Training Pokémon's tough enough, but saving the world is way too hard.
* Rabbit: Wait a minute. (shakes his head) Wait a minute! You can't just give up. You did that last time.
* Misty: I know it doesn't sound easy, Ash.
* Tracey: But you're the only one who matches the legend perfectly.
* Tigger: Yeah, Ashy Boy. You did it before and you can do it again. What do you say?
* Ash: Well, right now, I wish my mom had named me Bob instead of Ash.
* Melody: Ash, this whole thing is my fault. I –I never should've dragged you into this.
* Ash: Well, I guess I gotta go along with that.
* Misty: Don't blame yourself. Ash always gets us into trouble.
* Ash: Yeah, but nothing like this.

(Melody realizes something)

* Tigger: What's up?
* Melody: Lugia! (gets out her flute) The sound it makes is just like the song from the legend!

(Melody proceeds to play Lugia's song, this allows Lugia to awaken and return to the surface)

* Lugia: The song. The song has restored my strength.
*Rabbit: Telepathy.
*Winnie the Pooh: Just like Mewtwo.

(Everyone is in shock and awe when they see and hear Lugia)

* Lugia: But it alone cannot bring harmony to the three warring ones.
* Ash: What do you mean?
* Lugia: When the treasures of fire, ice, and lightning are aligned, my song shall harmonize with their powers, and tame the beasts both above and below the sea. But this can come to pass only with the help of the chosen one.
* Ash: But what can I do that somebody else can't?
* Lugia: Only in the hands of the true chosen one will the ice sphere glow like the others, its power awakened.
* Ash: (worried) I have to go, there?
* Lugia: The choice is yours. You must go only where your heart leads.
* Ash: Maybe, I...

(As looks at the three warring legends, but Pikachu encourages him)

* Pikachu: Pikachu. ("You can do it.")
* Ash: I can?
* Pikachu: Pika. ("You can.")

(Soon, all of Ash's Pokémon materialize)

* Ash: You think so, too?

(All of Ash's Pokémon agree)

* Rabbit: Even your Pokémon agrees.
* Winnie the Pooh: Yes. We'll even help you get that last treasure and back, or my name isn't Winnie the Pooh. Which it is.
* Ash: Okay. (tears up) I'll do whatever it takes to get that third treasure. But, what if I mess up? What if... I...
* Misty: You can do it.
* Melody: We know you can.
* Ash: Yeah, you're right. I can do it! I'm the chosen one!
*Rabbit: Excellent decision! Now put your combat gear on, this is a dangerous mission, and we cannot afford any mistakes. The fate of the Pokémon World is in our hands.
