== Weather Disasters/Fire Island/Getting the Sphere ==
(Meanwhile, out on the ocean, Team Rocket is pedaling what's left of their sub)

* Jessie: Our ship is ruined.
* James: I'm sick of it!
* Meowth: I'm seasick over it!

(Team Rocket then notices Maren's boat speeding towards them with Ash and Pikachu on board, and they fall in the water as the boat zooms past)

* James: Wasn't that...?
* Jessie: The twerp?
* Meowth: And Pikachu and those talking toy animals, too.

(As Team Rocket watches Ash zoom away, another storm starts and rain falls quickly. Team Rocket is then washed away by the waves. Meanwhile, in a cave, the Pokémon Slowking from the shrine is watching the storm)

* Slowking: Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice, and lightning. (sighs) What a mess.

(From the shrine, we see Ash and Maren speed off through the storm towards Fire Island, but the sea gets rougher)

* Ash: I hope the legend ceremony doesn't include, a funeral.
* Piglet: I do, too.
* Rabbit: Uh, suddenly going so soon doesn't seem like such a good idea.

(Back in the village, the storm gets stronger)

* Melody: The storm's bad. What if the guys can't make it to the island? Carol, I have to take your boat.
* Carol: Melody, what can you do?
* Melody: They're caught out in the storm because of our stupid ritual, and I'm the one who picked Ash for it. I just hope they're alright.

(Down at the docks, Team Rocket reaches safety when they see our heroes racing past and following Melody)

* Melody: (to Misty) What are you coming for?
* Misty: To find Ash and Pooh and Pals. And before you start saying it's because I secretly like him, don't, cause I don't!
* Melody: Hey, chill out! You sure are sensitive about somebody who's not your boyfriend!
* Misty: He's not my boyfriend! He's a boy and he's a friend, but he's not a boyfriend!
* Tracey: You talking about me?

(Soon, our heroes are on Carol's speedboat, heading for Fire Island. But unbeknownst to them, Team Rocket stowed away)

* Jessie: What we won't do.
* James: For Pikachu.

(Meowth laughs. Meanwhile, up in the sky, Lawrence III's airship looms)

* Lawrence III: Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice, and lightning. (chuckles) It seems there's been a shift, in the balance of power.
* Computer: Pokémon Zapdos detected.

(Meanwhile, at the Shamouti banquet hall, Maren and the others watch the news talking about strange weather occurrences all over the world)

* TV Reporter: Experts now believe that the weather disasters occurring in all parts of the globe are due to a powerful and previously unknown phenomenon from deep beneath the surface of the ocean. (the screen shows a computer simulation) This is a simulation of the underwater river that has snaked it's way around the planet. Disrupting ocean currents, weather patterns and the entire global climate.

(It's revealed that the people of Shamouti aren't the only ones watching, as we see Delia and Professor Oak watching the same news report in the professor's lab in Pallet Town)

* Prof. Oak: I wonder if this is what's been upsetting all the Pokémon.

(The powerful "winter" wind break one of the windows in the lab)

* TV Reporter: The source of this disturbance appears to be centered at the north central region of the Orange Islands.
* Prof. Oak: The Orange Islands?!?
* Delia: But, that's where Ash and his friends are right now.

(Soon, Professor Oak gets a call)

* Prof. Oak: Someone's calling.

(The caller is revealed to be Professor Ivy)

* Prof. Ivy: Professor, we're having problems!
* Prof. Oak: What is it, Professor Ivy?
* Prof. Ivy: The Pokémon here are behaving very strangely.

(Meanwhile, on the ocean, the storm clears)

* Ash: It looks like the storm's over!
* Maren: But the sea keeps getting rougher!
* Rabbit: Hold on tight, everyone!

(Indeed, the sea starts pitching the boat around, sending it airborne for a bit, and then it goes through a bunch of rocks, narrowly missing them. However, the second time it goes airborne, the rudder hits a rock and breaks off)

* Maren: The rudder!
* Pikachu: Pikachu! ("Up ahead!")

(The waves then send the boat aground, the high and hard way. Ash looks up and sees that they arrived on Fire Island)

(Ash, Pooh, his friends, and Maren disembark from the stranded boat)

* Maren: Well, at least we made it. But..
* Pikachu: Pikachu! ("Hurry, this way!")

(Pikachu runs off towards some steps)

* Ash: Pikachu! Where are you going?
* Tigger: After that Pikachu!
* Maren: Guys, we shouldn't split up! The storm might pick up again!
* Ash: Pikachu's been acting really weird! I gotta find out why!
* '''Rabbit''': Hurry, hurry! There's not a moment to lose.

(Ash rushes after his friend. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang speed toward Fire Island)

* Melody: Okay, hold on, you guys!

(The boat rides along the wave like a surfboard)

* Misty: Cool move!
* Melody: I've been around boats all my life. You don't have to be scared.
* Misty: Oh, I never get scared out on the ocean. I come from a water Pokémon gym.

(Melody notices the wave starting to come down, but they all manage to avoid getting wiped out. However, another big wave sends the boat airborne. While the gang hangs on for dear life, Team Rocket hold on to a tarp and get blown away towards Fire Island. As for our heroes, they mange to land safely. On the shore of the island, Maren is having snack with some hot chocolate. Our heroes soon come riding in on a wave and come ashore with it while Maren feels the force of the wave itself. Maren then runs out of the cabin to see our heroes and their boat on a rock)

* Tracey: Hey! Are you guys okay?!
* Maren: Yeah, we're fine! But I think the boat's in pretty bad shape!
* Melody: Where's Ash and Pooh and Pals?!
* Maren: Up there!

(Maren points to the stairs, when suddenly, the boat our heroes are on begins to slip backwards because of the strong winds)

* Tracey: We're, slipping!

(Melody pulls a cord and a mast and sail come out, and next thing you know, the boat begins to lift up and flies toward the stairs)

* Tracey: It flies?

(The boat lands on the stairs)

* Melody: If you know how.
* Misty: Awesome!
* Tracey: Hang on!

(The boat starts slowly moving up the stairs)

* Misty: Let's find Ash and the guys!
* Melody: Yeah! And if he needs any help, his girlfriend's here.
* Misty: But I'm not..
* Melody: Like you said, you are a girl and you are his friend. Isn't that right?

(Misty chuckles sheepishly then nods)

(Meanwhile, in the sky, Lawrence III's airship looms while he looks at the captured Moltres)

* Lawrence III: Poor Moltres, you seem so miserable. But they say, misery loves company.

(A hologram of Zapdos comes up)

* Computer: Zapdos approaching Fire Island.
