Pooh's Adventures of Epic Mickey/Transcript

Prologue

[The film opens to Mickey asleep after reading "Alice Through The Looking Glass" with our heroes.]

• Yen Sid: [narrating] A long time ago, on a very peculiar day. My mirror lured some creatures out of their sleep. And opened a door way to my workshop.
• Winnie the Pooh: What's that calling to us?
• Skipper: I don't know. But we're gonna find out.
• Ash Ketchum: I've got a bad feeling about this.
• Piglet: I do too.
• Petrie: Petrie too.
• Yen Sid: [narrating] I do not know the Mirror was being mischievous or malicious.

[Mickey walk up to the Mirror then walks through it, into Yen Sid's Workshop. The others follows]

• Skipper: What is this Place?
• Zoey: I don't know.
• Ducky: I don't know either.
• Buzzie : So what we gonna do?
• Flaps: I don't know. Hey, now don't start *that* again!
• Private: Skipper, look! A light.
• Yen Sid: [narrating] Perhaps, it knew that the curious intruders had roles to play in my project.

[Mickey, Pooh, and their friends tip-toed to the workshop.]

• Brock: Who's that?
• Rabbit: I think that's Yen Sid. The Good Fairy told us about him.
• Misty: He looks more like some sorcerer.
• Tigger: That's because he is.
• Littlefoot: Wow. Sounds powerful.
• Yen Sid: [narrating] I was putting the finishing touches on my latest creation. A world for things that have been forgotten.
• Pooh: Rabbit?
• Rabbit: Shh!

[Yen Sid paints the some kind of Disney World, but the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit statues. After that Yen Sid puts the magic brush in the Thinner and put it down]

• Yen Sid: Satisfied with my progress, I put the magic brush down and retire to my chambers.
• Piglet: Oh, my goodness! Hide!

[Mickey and the others went into Yen Sid's Workshop]

• Yen Sid: [narrating] Had I known what events would follow. I would've walked way everything. Paint, brush, and Thinner.
• Ash Ketchum: Uh, Mickey i wouldn't do that if were you.

(Mickey grins as he looks at the project and he takes the brush out of its stand. Perhaps he could paint something of his own. Mickey pauses then smiles as he dips the brush into the paint jar.)

(Mickey begins to paint something that is supposed to look like himself. All looks good so far. Suddenly the object that Mickey has made turns black, drooping a bit. This made Mickey think. He didn't want that. With a smirk, Mickey continues painting; perhaps his work could use some improvement.)

• Zazu: Uh, Mick.

(But to Mickey's horror, something unexpected happened: the thing got bigger then came to life. Mickey gasps as some sort of creature roars at him. It is a black blob creature that looks like a muscular humanoid with yellow eyes. Mickey and Leo didn't know it yet but this creature has a name: the Phantom Blot.)

• Tigger, Piglet, Pooh: [gasping]
• Vultures: What?!
• Jiminy Cricket: Huh?!
• Zazu: [gasping]
• Ash and his friends: [screaming]
• Littlefoot and Friends: [gasping]
• Skipper: Sweet Datchi Dreidels!

[Mickey quickly grabs a sponge as well as the thinner bottle in hope to erase the blot. But in the progress, Mickey accidentally spill paint onto the project board, ruining it. Mickey didn't have time to worry about that; he had to get rid of this monster. He threw thinner onto the blot, trying to wipe him away.]

• Jiminy Cricket: He's coming back!
• Tigger: Make a break for it!
• Skipper: Pull back, then! Pull back!

[Mickey, Pooh, and his friends make their escape, the mixture of paint and thinner proves to be disastrous, especially when the phantom blot, who suddenly survive the whole ordeal, eagerly went into the map.]

• Yen Sid: I've heard the noise and rushed to see what had happened, but I was too late. The world I had created was ravished, a wasteland. The mysterious intruders were gone. [Mickey, Pooh, and his friends frantically head into the mirror and jump through it, returning to his own world and were never seen again.] I did not learn their identities. Well, not for a very long time.

(Time had passed since that faithful day and Mickey and his friends had indeed forgotten. But by then, they took different paths. Mickey grew to be a star loved by the world.)

(Of course, Mickey was about to learn the hard way that the past has a way of catching up to us...hard.)

[For a moment, it looks like it will be another normal day. Pooh looked around, confused as to what was dripping. Are there leaks in the roof or something? Mickey looked around then his eyes widened in shock as he saw what was causing the dripping.)

• Tigger: Uh oh!

(Two large black hands popped out from a familiar mirror. They grabbed Mickey and their friends as they cried out helplessly as his friends grabbed on to them. The hands then dragged them into the mirror… into a familiar workshop… and went inside a project board. Mickey, trying desperately to grab something, grabbed the paintbrush from nearby, but ended up getting dragged.)

(Mickey and the others tried to free themselves from the blot, but it ate them, making Mickey scream through the ink. Then, in a desperate bid, the blot took the group to a dark castle… where Mickey and the gang fell unconscious while they hear an Evil Laugh. This is where our story begins…)

• Bowser Koopa (OS): Welcome to your Nightmare, my preys.

The Mad Doctor tries to steal Mickey's Heart/Meeting Gus/Discussing about the magic paintbrush/Goes over the Projector Screen

[Mickey slowly awoke a few hours later and looked around.]

• Zazu: Where are we?
• Ash: Beats me.
• Pikachu: Pikachu.

(Mickey then looked around… his eyes then widened as he saw a big pocket knife and he and the others were belted to some sort of table. The Mad Doctor cackles. ]

[Meanwhile, a curious black rabbit with a white face, black eyes and he wore blue shorts, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, peeked out.]

• Oswald: Hmmm?

(Oswald quietly sneaked out and hid behind the console as The Mad Doctor continued laughing.)

(The Mad Doctor smirked as he pulled a lever that activated the pocket knife which was looking down at the group with a big eye. Mickey looked nervously as the Mad Doctor pushed the lever to 'scissors'. A pair of scissors came out of the pocket knife, and Mickey gulped as he was trying to edge away from them. The Mad Doctor then pulled the lever to 'Drill' as a drill came down and was ready to get Mickey. Mickey desperately edged himself out of the way. The Mad Doctor pulled the lever to 'Chainsaw' as a chainsaw came out to try to get to him. but Mickey dodged out of the way.)

[The Mad Doctor smirked then he pulled the lever to a skull and cross-bones.]

[Mickey gulped as he looked up and saw the next thing to come out… a plunger.]

[All of a sudden, the plunger went into Mickey, plunging his heart out. Mickey gulped as the plunger tried desperately to get his heart out.]

[The Mad Doctor chuckled… but then, the machine started to flash.)

A mechanical voice: WARNING! MACHINE OVER-HEATING! MACHINE OVER-HEATING!

(The Mad Doctor looked over and gulped as the machine started to malfunction.)

(Mickey using all of his strength broke one hand out of the wheel and grabbed the plunger, and threw it right at The Mad Doctor's face. Mickey then freed himself, his friends and glared right up at The Mad Doctor.)

(The Mad Doctor smirked as a familiar black ink thing then came down as Mickey and the gang gasped.)

• Misty: It's that monster again!

[Mickey quickly looked around, then noticed the paintbrush was nearby. He quickly grabbed it and pointed it at the ink thing. The ink thing gasped as it flew off. The Mad Doctor was laughing, but then went wide eyed as he saw the ink person fleeing away.]

(Then The Mad Doctor smirked as he pulled a lever and a trap door opened, causing him to escape. Oswald, watching all this, gasped as he looked over. Mickey and his friends, heard the gasp and turned towards Oswald.)

• Brock: What is that?
• Flaps: I don't know.
• Ducky: I do not know either.

(Oswald tried to push the lever to open the trap door… but broke it.)

(Oswald then screamed as he quickly ran off and ran through a door as the pocket knife started to wreck everything. As soon as Oswald slammed the door, it turned to Mickey and the others whirring.)

(The machine begins going crazy some more, wrecking the whole place. The group soon saw the mechanical menace turning to them menacingly, making whirring noises. It's going after them now!)

• Gremlin Gus: Over here, you bucket-o-bolts! A voice exclaim from out of nowhere. there was a strange creature on a bridge just spoke has gotten the machine's attention as it turns to flash on it before destroying a bridge.) Missed me! (Just then, the same creature was seen from a control panel.) Over here, Mickey!!!! (Mickey nods as he, and the others quickly run as fast as they can, while dodging the machine's attacks. Soon the group arrives near a spot where the creature is. The creature said it had pale green skin with a white mustache and an orange nose. He wears a red overall with white stripes and white gloves.) Break this control panel and that mechanical arm will shut down!

(Mickey quickly punches at the control panel, damaging the thing and destroying the arm part of the machine. As a result, the machine sparks a bit then was shut down for good.)

• Gus: Look, the mechanical arm's destruction revealed a secret room! You may take a moment to explore it, if you'd like. When you're ready, come to me, and we'll get out of here.

(Mickey and the others comes to Gus and leave)

• Ziggy: Looks like we need to find a way home, eh?
• Buzzie: Yeah, so what are we gonna do?
• Flaps: I don't know. I....Don't start that again!!!
• Private: But what about that Black monster?
• Gus: The Shadow Blot!
• Littlefoot: What's the Shadow Blot?
• Spike: I don't know.
• Gus: It's a thing made of Paint and Thinner.
• Kowalski: But that Blot was awfully scared of that brush.

[Mickey then gasped as he saw some green Thinner coming out of the brush and erasing part of the wall.]

• Jiminy Cricket: What was that?
• Skipper: Kowalski, analysis.
• Kowalski: This green stuff must be Thinner. Thinner is used to dissolve everything that is painted.
• Mickey: Gosh, I wonder what else this brush can do!

[Mickey then summoned some blue paint from the brush as it painted the wall back in.]

• Cera: And that?
• Skipper: Kowalski?
• Kowalski: The blue stuff must be paint. The Paint is used to restore everything dissolve by Thinner.
• Gremlin Gus: You're quite the genius.
• Kowalski: Thanks. I get that alot.

[Mickey smiled as he held his head proudly. Then he noticed some black ink dripping out of him. Gus then noticed it too.]

• Gremlin Gus: Well, you're just full of surprises. (Gus poked one of the ink bubbles.) I guess you soaked up some of the Blot!

(Mickey then felt as if he gasped. Mickey then smiled.)

• Mickey: But I'm still me! Let's practice!

(Mickey smirked as he twirled his paintbrush.)

[The scene shows the gate where Oswald is jumping angrily before running off.]

• Gremlin Gus: The exit is through the gate...

(Oswald revealed the Shadow Blot Mickey fought along with all the Blotlings he encountered were drippings of the real Blot)

• Mickey: Uh-oh!
• Gremlin Gus: Seers. Part of the Blot's "Blotling Army."
• Mickey: Are they dangerous?
• Gremlin Gus: Well, they're not good company. The Seers are only one type of Blotling. Other kinds of Blotlings are far worse. But you'll see soon enough! You knocked the gear loose. See the gate opening? One more gear will do it. Here in Wasteland, you'll find that gears and machines make all kinds of things happen. Second gear down and.... a Projector Screen! That's our way out of the castle. Let's go take a closer look.
• Mickey: That rabbit went this way. But-
• Gremlin Gus: Portals like this are how we get around. The rabbit named Oswald. He set them up.
• Mickey: But - a projector screen?
• Gremlin Gus: What's so strange? Seems natural for cartoons.
• Mickey: Well - uh - what's in there?
• Gremlin Gus: Just get ready to jump.

[Mickey, Gus, and the others jump into the Projector Screen]

[The scene shows Mickey and the Beanstalk, Mickey and the others got the film reel for Mickey and the Beanstalk, and made it to the end.]

• Gus: Would you like to travel to Slalom?

At Slalom

[Mickey, his friends, and Gremlin Gus arrive in Slalom]

• Rabbit: Whew. What a Rush.
• Cera: You can say that again.
• Gremlin Gus: Hey, it's Gremlin Tiestow! What are you doing, Tiestow?
• Tiestow: Hi, Gus! Someone sabotaged the door. It's gonna take Paint to fix it.
• Gus: That's an impressive door. Definitely Gremlin construction. Hey, Mickey, you can throw Paint around,. Why not paint those gears for Tiestow?
• Tiestow: That'd be great! I've been working on that middle gear, so don't break it please.

(Mickey paints the gears that make it open the door.)

• Tiestow: Hooray! You fixed it!

(One of the Spatters spots Mickey and the others and he runs away.)

• Gus: Oh, no... Did you see that? It's a nasty thing related to those Seers back there. That pipe section is thinned out, letting steam escape! Don't touch the steam! It'll knock you back. Please patch those pipes when you see them.
• Tiestow: Thank you for your help. Only someone with your unique talent for creating Paint could have done it. You know, the ability to create Paint will come in handy ahead. There are lots of leaky steam pipes ahead. I'll meet you farther down the line, I'm sure of it.

(Mickey paints the pipe and breaks the chest and it reveals E-Tickets, Health, Paint, and Thinner. The Spatter is running away again.)

• Gus: There it is again! We should be able to go that way, too - but watch your step.

(Mickey paints the ground and walks the path with the group.)

Reuniting with the Rebels

• Aisling (to Mickey Mouse): You have too much courage not to face the Wrath of Master Yen Sid.
• Mickey Mouse: Yen Sid? then that model he made.
• Aisling: It was a Haven for the Forgotten Toons and thanks to your Antics, because of your silly curiosity as a 5-Year-Old Boy, you turned it into a Dump.
• Mewtwo: Enough, Aisling.
• Mickey Mouse: No she's Right, Mewtwo, because of me I even lured Bowser and the New United Alliance of Evil here.

• Pooh and Pals: Psycho Rangers?
• Aisling: Dark Specter's Creations, they were the super soldiers in the service of Astronema, and not to mention being the Doppelgangers of the Power Rangers in Space.
• Aisling: Last time we heard from those Guys they were in the Terra Venture Space Colony.
• Mario: the former Space colony in which Leo Corbett and the Power Rangers of the Lost Galaxy lived, the same ones who helped us during the Project Shadow Affair and the ARK Space Colony long before the creation of Rogue One.
• Ash: How is it possible for them to come back?, (he realizes), Bowser had something to do with this.
• Mewtwo: Using Utrom and Cybertronian Technology, from the TGRI.
• Aisling: Especially the Virtual Reality Simulator known as QuestWorld, we happen to have that system but it hasn't been tested for the Danger Room yet.

Redeem the Clocktower

[When Mickey, Pooh, Tigger, Ash, Littlefoot and their friends arrives in a hallway, they can hear some music]

• Winnie the Pooh: What was that?
• Ash Ketchum: It’s the music.

At Mean Street

[Mickey, Gus, Pooh, Tigger, and their friends arrive at a train station in Mean Street]

• Mickey Mouse: Is this a theme park...?
• Gus: Oswald copied it as best he could. He wanted us characters to be happy.
• Mickey Mouse: Characters?
• Gus: Characters the world stopped watching and stopped loving.

[A though bubble appears, showing Wasteland before the Thinner Disaster]

• Gus: Rough drafts, extras, anyone who didn't work out right. Characters left on the drawing board. Most lived here, in Oswald's recreation of that magical place. He set up shops. An ice cream parlor. It was home... before.

[The thought bubble vanishes]

• Mickey Mouse: Before what?
• Gus: Before the Thinner Disaster.

[Flashback to the start of the Thinner Disaster. As Gus say this line, a jug fall from the sky]

• Gus: That's when the life went out of Wasteland.

[A tidal wave of Thinner rises up as the toons except one flee. The thinner wave crashes down and one Spatter surfs on the wave with a door as a surfboard. To a manhole cover, one toon peaks]

• Gus: That's when the Blot arrived, and his flunkies.

[A Spatter jumps onto the manhole cover, closing it. Flashback ends]

• Gus: Welcome to Mean Street.

[Mickey sees some characters here]

• Mickey Mouse: Gosh. Lots of these characters look alike.
• Gremlin Gus: They're different versions from different stories.

[Then a peg legged character shows up]

• ???: Like me!
• Mickey Mouse: I thought these folks were forgotten! I'd never forget you, BIG BAD PETE!
• Big Bad Pete: Big Bad Pete, Pete Pan, Small Pete, Petetronic. This place has got lotsa me! We get things done in Wasteland, see. So, work with us and nobody'll mess with ya! [chuckles evilly]

At Ventureland/Smee's story of Skull Island/Meeting Animatronic Daisy/Giving Damien Salt Flowers for Henrietta

[Mr. Smee (Epic Mickey) is seen crying]

• Gremlin Gus: Aren’t you Smee? Captain Hook's right-hand man? Well.. only-hand man, I'd guess you say.
• Smee: I was! Till the Cap'n chased us out of Tortuga! There's terrible troubles there.
• Mickey Mouse: Why? What happened?
• Smee: We had to escape we did! [] The Cap'n is haulin' us to- Skull Island! It's where we pirates used to live there. But we can't no more. Not since that machine started turnin' us into monsters! An' one of 'em is Cap'n Hook! Why, he's crosser than ever now. An' those monsters hold no loyalty to their former mates; us!

A Call to Arms

(Scene: Command Center)

• Pooh and Pals: Psycho Rangers?
• Aisling: Dark Specter's Creations, they were the super soldiers in the service of Astronema, and not to mention being the Doppelgangers of the Power Rangers in Space.
• Aisling: Last time we heard from those Guys they were in the Terra Venture Space Colony.
• Mario: In other words, the colony in which the Power Rangers of the Lost Galaxy lived, the same ones who helped us during the matter of Project Shadow and the ARK Space Colony.
• Ash: How is it possible for them to come back?, (he realizes), Bowser had something to do with this.
• Mewtwo: Using Utrom and Cybertronian Technology, from the TGRI.

Final Battle

• Meowth: Better save it for later, Big Boss, We got trouble brewin' outside.
• Meowth: Trouble with' a capital 'R' and 'D'.

(The Rebel Alliance and the DigiDestined Appears)

• Bowser: (Growls), Rebels and the DigiDestined!
