(Now we go to the episode)
Night Terrors
Velma: Now, let's see who's really behind all this Terrorwood smoke. (unmasks the Fiend) Everyone: Dan Fluunk? Daphne: That doesn't make any sense. Shaggy: You seemed like the nicest guy. Scooby: Why, Dan? Why? Dan: It's this place. I can't take it! I've been here since I was born. My family's been caretakers of the Burlington Mansion, and then, the Burlington Library, for generations. I was born here, been here every day of my life, all alone up here on this mountain, tending this darn library! Where it always seemed to be snowing and I could never get warm. Never! I hate the cold. I hate the snow! But the library could never be closed. I never got a vacation, not one. I found out about the Terrorwood when I accidentally burned some. So I decided to use it to scare away anyone and everyone that came here. So eventually, no one would come anymore, and I could close the place forever and go someplace warm. And I would have done it, too, been somewhere warm by now, if it wasn't for you meddling snow-bound brats. (Next scene, outside of Burlington Library, Dan Fluunk is taken into custody by two deputies) I don't mind going to prison. Not one bit! At least I'll finally be someplace warm! (laughs hysterically) -
[Ash, finally having enough of his friends and Mystery Inc.’s mistrust, doubts and behavior towards Cassidy, leaves a note on his bed and grabs his backpack as he runs off. A few seconds later, Mystery Inc., Bugs, Simba, Ash’s friends and the rest of the gang heads inside the hotel.]
Misty: Hey Ash. We really need to talk to you… (notices Ash’s note) What the?
Iris: What the? Where’s Ash?
Simba: Is that a note? What does it say?
Misty: [reads it out loud; with Ash’s voiceover] “Dear Mystery Inc., Brock, Misty, Simba, Bugs and the rest of the gang, I am leaving! I had enough of the way you guys been acting towards Cassidy and me! Cassidy was trying to make amends, and you all pushed her away! Well guess what?! I am done! I had enough! If you guys don’t want to see me again, I understand! I’m going back to Crystal Cove and helping Cassidy! I don’t care if you still don’t trust Cassidy! She deserved a second chance! I’m gonna help her! You’re just gonna have to solve mysteries with from now on without me, since you don’t trust me anymore…- Goodbye for now, Ash.”

(Everyone, except for Simba, Nala and Bugs started arguing over Cassidy and Ash still trusting her and wants to give her a chance. Soon, enough, Simba, Nala and Bugs has enough of their friends’ behavior.)
Bugs Bunny: (can’t stand the arguing anymore) BE QUIET! SHUT UP!
(Ash’s friends, Kiara, Kovu, Timon, Pumbaa, Mystery Inc. and the rest of the Looney Tunes stops arguing and becomes stunned in silence.)
Simba: Now that’s enough! We are very disappointed in how you all acted towards Ash and Cassidy.
Bugs Bunny: Look at yourselves. Look what and listen to the way you’re all acting and talking. You’re all acting like a bunch of immature, untrustworthy children!
(The rest of the heroes gasp in shock.)
Timon: But guys, Cassidy was the one who was untrustworthy.
Misty: Yeah! She lied to us and used us just to give the disk pieces to Mr. E!
Sylvester Cat: And now Ash is defending her!
Fred Jones: Plus, we are never talking to her again! Cassidy lied to us since we started this mystery!
Bugs Bunny: Well, that still doesn’t give you an excuse to treat Ash like that!
(The rest or the heroes gasp in realization and shock.)
Simba: What is wrong with you guys? How could you treat Ash like that? He’s our friend.
Nala: You should all be ashamed of yourselves. I know what Cassidy did was wrong, and Simba, Bugs and I still don’t know if we can trust her again as well, but what you acted towards Ash last night was very mean and awful. And now, we pushed him away.
Bugs Bunny: For shame, Doc.
Simba: Remember when I refused to trust Kovu since he was from Scar’s side and I thought he was using me but it really wasn’t him, but Zira? That really led my anger and hurt over my past ever since my father Mufasa got killed by Scar blind me with pride and I ended up hurting some of Kiara, Kovu and my friends, including Ash, who was just trying to reason with me, but instead I pushed him away. And even though I learned my lesson, it still haunt me til this very day. Now do you all see that you’re making the mistake I made?
(Mystery Inc., Brock, Misty, Kiara, Kovu, Serena and the rest of Ash, Simba and Bugs’ friends look down in shame.)
Daphne Blake: Oh guys, what are we doing? Simba, Nala and Bugs are right. We really hurt Ash’s feelings and pushed him away.

(As the heroes look at the sunset sadly over their fallout with Ash, a scene cuts to nighttime where Cassidy is heading to her secret hideout. There, she put a picture of the Darrow Family on her billboard with past mystery solvers.)
Cassidy Williams: The Darrow family, aka the Mystery Fellowship. It's all happened before, Velma. Now what you got to do is figure out why.
(Suddenly, Cassidy heard a knock on the door. She opens the door and reveals it to be Ash.)
Cassidy Williams: Ash? What are you doing here?!
Ash Ketchum: Need a hand?
(As soon as Ash reached out his right hand to Cassidy, Cassidy smiles and shakes her left hand with Ash’s hand.)
Cassidy Williams: Yes. Yes I do.
(The episode ends.)
