King Triton
King Triton is one of the two overarching protagonists (alongside Queen Athena) of The Little Mermaid franchise. He is the ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantica and the father of Ariel and her older sisters.

But later on, he will realize that they are only trying to do what they can to make his daughter happy and not be miserable, and that the human world is not bad as he claimed.
