  • Throughout the episode, Rabbit was determined to keep his new friend, Kessie, a secret from Ash and his friends, fearing that they would get involved and didn't trust them along with Pooh Bear, Piglet and Tigger in helping to take care of her.
  • During Rabbit's conversation with Ash about letting Kessie go, Ash reflects to the times he released Butterfree, Pidgeot, Lapras, Larvitar, Goodra, Greninja, Solgaleo, and Naganadel and the time he almost released Pikachu.
