Another Strange Universe is the Pilot Episode of the YouTube Storytellers Series DeltaForce. The episode serves as an introduction to the DeltaForce members, Angel City, and the overall formula to the series as a whole. The episode was written by series creators Unknown Tale and DJyoshi.

Basic Plot[edit | edit source]

Simba moves in with the group and they decide to go have lunch together and celebrate the formation of the team. Unfortunately, the ice cream machine breaks down, so they decide to go get the part needed to fix the machine. They end up getting intercepted by an enemy team who snag the part and escapes via a Smoke Out. Angel manages to track them down and their rival group uses the part to power a mechanical monstrosity. Tod, seeing the weak point, organizes an All-Out Attack and destroys the enemy with ease. The team return the part to the restaurant, and they all have ice cream (no, literally).

Simba's Bow of Monstrosity Slayer is revealed in this episode as the Ancient Source of Triumph. It is a longbow fit for a king, or in this case, a young prince.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The Source Briefing of this episode was written by Series Co-Creator DJyoshi, meant as a parody of how McDonald's came to be.
  • Tod keeps a picture of Vixey at the DeltaForce base, which indicates Vixey hasn't become an official agent at the time this episode took place.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The original intro theme was "Panama" by The Avener before it was changed to the Mission Impossible 2 Theme, "I Disappear" by Metallica. The reasoning for this change was because it was believed to be a better opening theme.
  • The other opening theme for the episode is "Hai Yorokonde," meant as the Japanese Opening for the series.

Voice Cast[edit | edit source]

Here are the voice cast credits for all the non-sentence mixed speaking roles.
