=== Opening/Show off your best === === Madeline's failed attempt to catch the thieves === Madeline: Pardon. Miss Clavel: Quel catastrophe! Madeline: But it was not my fault. You see, this man was trying to steal the Mona Lisa and I had to stop him. and, and...You do believe me, don't you? (the adults just glare at her in response while the heroes and girls look concerned) Don't you? === Madeline gets sent to London === Narrator: Lord Cucuface was doubtful of Madeline's tale of the fame to smiling portrait and thieves needing jail. From a growing young lady should come manners and poise. (Genevieve barks notes.) Nicole: Tres bien, Genevieve. Narrator: Not fanciful stories and a great deal of noise. "Ah, Madeline," he said, "I fear that you must go away, my dear. Madeline: Go away? But why? Lord Cucuface: Your manners are not, shall we say, up to snuff. I am sending you to an excellent finishing school in London. Girls: Finishing school? Nicole: But Madeline is already finished. Miss Higgensbottom: More tea, Madeline? Madeline: Yes, please. Miss Higgensbottom: "Yes, please, Headmisstress Higgensbottom." Madeline: Right. - - - - - Misty: Madeline sure is lucky to go to London. We have so many fond memories of that city. - - Miss Higgensbottom: Sometimes I wonder why I bother. Madeline: Me too. === The heroes and eleven girls investigating/Madeline struggles === (Back in London Mr. Henry dances with Madeline.) Mr. Henry: One two three. One two- (Madeline accidentally steps on his foot) Oof! Madeline: Pardon, Mr Henry. Mr. Henry: Madeline, I am supposed to lead. Madeline: Why? Mr. Henry: Do not ask foolish questions. (Madeline steps on his foot again) Ow! Mr. Henry: And so it is good manners to always agree with a gentleman. Madeline: That is ridiculous. Mr. Henry: Madeline, a lady does not express her opinion unless she is asked for it. Madeline: Poo-poo! === Finished in finishing school === Madeline: Emma, you are horrible! === A day at Buckingham Palace === === Madeline on her own/I see London === Mr. Henry: Where the devil is Madeline? Emma: She has the measles. (scoffs) Poor thing. === Madeline overhears Maximo and Dumbella's plan === Hotel Manager: There's the little ragamuffin! === Hickory Dickory out of time === (Madeline attempts to go upstairs only to get caught by the guard who glares at her.) Madeline: Oh! Guard: (escorting her downstairs) Let's go, miss. Madeline: But I must know where I am. Guard: You're inside Big Ben which is against the rules. Madeline: But. (The guard gestures her to leave and Madeline reluctantly does so.) Madeline: (clings onto the big hand of Big Ben's clock as it moves) Whoa! (the big hand moves downward) Au secours! '''HELP!!!''' (Big Ben rings its bell) Help! Man: (V.O.) Oh, my word! - - Mr. Henry: Oh, Madeline, why are you so late? I can't believe she would do this on purpose. What should we do? Call the police? - - - - - Miss Higgensbottom: Do you realize that I am responsible if anything happens to you? Madeline: I am sorry, Miss Higgensbottom. Miss Higgensbottom: Sorry doesn't do it, Madeline. You will not be allowed outside the school for the rest of your staying in London! Madeline: (shocked) Oh, no! That is impossible! - - - Miss Clavel: (sternly) Madeline, I am very disappointed in you. Madeline: (whispers) But Miss Clavel, I've found the thieves. They will strike again in two weeks at the reception in the Tower of London! I know it is hard to believe, but-! Miss Clavel: I believe you, Madeline. We all do. In fact, we shall be there with Lord Cucuface to help you stop them. Madeline: Tres mon? (Miss Higgensbottom glares at Madeline in suspicion.) Miss Clavel: Really. All you have to do is stay out of trouble for a few more days. Madeline: No problem, Miss Clavel. (hangs up) It is hopeless. === Madeline and Emma compete each other === Madeline: (on TV) Au secours! '''HELP!!!''' News caster: No one knows why that little girl was left dangling on Big Ben's clock hand, but let's just say that-. Ash Ketchum: (turns off the TV and groans in frustration) We should've done something! Why couldn't we have gone to London with her?! This is all Lord Cucuface's fault! Because of him, we left poor Madeline unprotected! === Blow the whistle === === Madeline gets framed/Emma confesses === - - - - - - Mr. Henry: Emma, may I have a word? Emma: As you wish, Mr. Henry. Mr. Henry: Dash it all, Emma! I find your story most odd. Madeline wouldn't really steal anything, would she? Emma: I don't know what you mean, Mr. Henry. Mr. Henry: I mean it's up to you. And your conscience. - (At the police station) Miss Clavel: Surely there is something you can do. Madeline is innocent. Constable: Is that so? Miss Clavel: She's only a little girl. Lord Cucuface: Madeline caught that dastardly duo! Free her at once! === Ending === [[Category:Transcripts]]
