Madeline: Hey, what are you doing?! Give it back right now, you thief!

Scarfaced-Man: And who's gonna make me? You? Heh, go play with your dolls, kid.

Madeline: Pooh-pooh! Come, Genevieve! We will show him what a kid can do!

Genevieve: (barks)

(But while Madeline and her dog chase after the Scarfaced-Man, something appears from behind a tree and is watching them.)

Bowser: (silhouetted) Oooh,... What have we here? (chuckles evilly)

Scarfaced-Man: G-Good doggie! You can have the hat! I'm out of here!

Officer Jenny: Not so fast!

Growlithe: (barks and growls)

Miss Clavel: Madeline, I am so glad you are safe!

Ash Ketchum: We were so worried about you.

Misty: What happened?

Madeline: I will explain everything once we get home.

Miss Clavel: Oui, Madeline.

Narrator: Madeline feared her teacher would be peeved. But Miss Clavel was quite relieved that Madeline was safe and sound. So, they departed homeward bound.

(As they leave the police station, the other officers attempt to escort the Scarfaced-Man up the stairs in the station where he will be questioned. But then suddenly, something whooshed by them.)

Officer 1: Huh? What was that?!

Officer 2: I don't know.

Officer 1: Do you think it was a ghost?

Officer 2: Oh, that's ridiculous. Ghosts aren't rea- (screams)

(The officers get attacked by an unknown force and then everything goes black.)

Scarfaced-Man: (groans as he wakes up) What just happened? (sees the wrecked police car and the two policemen knocked out dead; screams) What is this? (sees something humongous in the shadows and becomes scared; screams) S-s-stay away from me! Don't come any closer! Just please! D-don't hurt me!

Bowser: (silhouetted) Silence, you idiot! I am not here to hurt you!

Scarfaced-Man: Y-Y-You're not?

Bowser: (silhouetted) I'm here to offer you a deal.

Scarfaced-Man: A deal? What sort of deal?

Bowser: (silhouetted) I'm planning to run an operation at my base, and I need some rarest pearls from the island of Tahiti. If you bring them to me, I will offer you anything you desire.

Scarfaced-Man: Anything?

Bowser: (silhouetted) Yes. And the first thing I'll offer you is revenge. You hate that little red-haired girl who is called Madeline, do you?

Scarfaced-Man: Wha-? Madeline?! Yes, I want revenge on her! She tried to turn me over to the police after she caught me! I'd like to give her a piece of my mind when I get my hands on her!

Bowser: (silhouetted; grabs him) Let's not be too hasty now, my simple-minded friend! For I have a better idea. You want revenge, then I'm gonna help you get it as long as you do as I say. You understand?

Scarfaced-Man: (grumbles) Fine!

Bowser: (silhouetted) Good. As part of your revenge and my evil plans, we're first gonna use that nun for a teacher as our little possie.

Scarfaced-Man: Huh?

Bowser: (silhouetted) An insignificant pawn to our scheme.

Scarfaced-Man: Oh, I see. But how are we gonna do that?

Bowser: (silhouetted) Just listen to me very carefully and I'll explain it to you. (whispers in his ear as he explains his first phase of his evil plan)

Madeline and Pepito get in trouble

Madeline: Of course, I will ask Miss Clavel if you could come along.

Miss Clavel: Pepito, why did you do it?! You have ruined my precious roses!

Ash Ketchum: Whoa, boy.

Pepito: I am sorry, Miss Clavel, the damage was so minor I did not think you would notice.

Miss Clavel: It would be impossible not to notice! You'd best go home, Pepito! Now!

(Pepito leaves in shame.)

Madeline: But, Miss Clavel, the bush was not held much, really.

Miss Clavel: You'd knew about this and did not tell me?! Madeline, I am very disappointed in you. You know how much I love my precious rose garden.

Ash Ketchum: Pepito? Ruining her rose bushes on purpose? What in the world is Miss Clavel talking about, Pikachu?

Pikachu: Pika, Pika.

Ash Ketchum: Come on. (goes outside and looks at the rose garden; gasps) What the-?!

Pikachu: Pika?!

Ash Ketchum: What happened here?! (looks around for a bit and finds Pepito's board he was using to demonstrate his idea) Oh, no. It couldn't have been Pepito or Madeline. Could it, Pikachu?

Pikachu: Pikachu.

Ash Ketchum: How can Miss Clavel assume that it was them when they were inside with us this whole time? (throws away the board) This is really confusing. We'd better tell our friends about this, Pikachu.

Pikachu: Pika.

(They head back in to inform the gang. But little does Ash or anyone else knows, Bowser and the scarfaced man are watching everything.)

Bowser and the scarfaced-man: (cackles wickedly)

(Later...)

Misty: What?! Miss Clavel grounded Pepito and Madeline?!

Brock: But why would she do that?! What did they do?

Ash Ketchum: She claims that Pepito wrecked up her rose garden on purpose. And she thought Madeline didn't inform her about it even though she had nothing to do with it. So, she thinks that both of them are responsible for the mess.

Misty and Brock: What?!

Shaggy Rogers: But-But this is crazy, man! Madeline and Pepito didn't do anything to Miss Clavel's garden!

Cera: They would never ruin her roses! Would they?

Littlefoot: No, they wouldn't! This isn't fair! She didn't even let them give her a proper explanation!

Velma Dinkley: That is strange behavior. Even for her. How can she assume it was Pepito and Madeline who messed up her garden when they were staying inside with us this whole time? Especially when it was raining.

Bugs Bunny: Yeah, doc. This doesn't seem right at all.

Daffy Duck: And really suspicious.

Fred Jones: Gang, it looks like we got ourselves a mystery. We'll look into more of this once we're on our cruise to Tahiti. But right now, we need to keep an eye on Madeline and make sure she's having a good time along with us. Agreed?

Heroes: Agreed.

Daphne Blake: But we cannot let Miss Clavel know. Otherwise, she'll be on to us. Or our mystery solving days are over.

Heroes: Got it!

Shaggy Rogers: Like can we give her some of the cruise's finest foods while we're at it? Huh?

Scooby-Doo: Yeah, can we?

Ash Ketchum: Of course, Shaggy! But you must do it in secret, understand?

Shaggy and Scooby: Okay!

Pepito: (sees the scarfaced man getting into the taxi) Ay, chihuahua, Gordo! The scarfaced man! Madeline is in danger! I must tell Miss Clavel! (pauses) Ah, she will never believe me. No one will believe me. What can I do? (sees the girls wave good-bye to him at their windows) I will figure out a way to save Madeline. That is what. (waves good-bye to the girls and runs off)

Cruise ship/Ahoy, what joy?

Narrator: And so, the girls set out to sea. How much happier could they be? For Madeline, however, stuck in her room, nothing lies ahead but gloom.

Pepito stows away/Ahoy, what joy? (reprise)

Madeline: Oh, Pepito, why are you so reckless and impulsive? And why did you have to bring that awful snake onboard?

Pepito: I could not leave him at home! Do not worry. He will come back. He always does. No problemo. I promise.

Arriving in Tahiti/Miss Clavel lectures Pepito

Madeline: Careful. Do not drop it.

(The hotel employee drops the trunk, and it lands on Ash's foot.)

Ash Ketchum: (hops up and down in pain) Ouch! Ow! Ow! Ow! That hurt! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!

(Everyone turns and see Pepito in the trunk.)

Everyone: (gasps) Pepito?!

Ash Ketchum: (stops hopping) Pepito?!

Pikachu: Pika?!

Pepito: Buenos Dias, everyone! Good day to you!

Daffy Duck: Pepito, what in blue blazes are you doing here?!

Miss Clavel: I was just about to ask the same thing! Just what do you think you are doing here, young man?

Bugs Bunny: Well? Come on, Pepito, spit it out. Why are you here?

Pepito: Uh, well, it is kind of a long story. You see, Madeline is in great danger. So, I had to come along to protect her from the scarfaced man.

Brock: Scarfaced man?

Misty: What scarfaced man?

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, Pepito, who is this scarfaced man?

Professor Borea: I don't understand it either.

Pepito: The scarfaced man was on the ship. I know he was.

Velma Dinkley: Well, then why did no one see him?

Daphne Blake: Yeah, why?

Miss Clavel: One would think he would stand out like a sore thumb, no? Everyone, come inside now. Before the day is done, I will get to the bottom of this. (to Madeline) Madeline, I am especially disappointed in you for letting Pepito come along without my permission.

Madeline: But-

Miss Clavel: (rudely interrupts) We shall discuss it later.

Pepito: She is in danger, Miss Clavel! The scarfaced man-!

Miss Clavel: (rudely interrupts again) There is no scarfaced man, Pepito!

Scarfaced-Man: (calls someone on the phone) That numbskull nun fell for our little trick, boss. She has no idea what we're planning to do on this island. Once the coast is clear, we'll let you know when to come here and begin our plan.

Bowser: (voiceover) Excellent. She has proven to be quite useful to us. You and your friends go and steal the documents so that we can create the machine for our plan. I'll go and watch how our little pawn is doing in keeping our little pests out of our way.

Scarfaced-Man: Okay, boss. See ya later. (to his friends) Did you get a set of lock picks as I requested?

Man 1: Uh, yes, sir.

Scarfaced-Man: Good. As soon as I get my hands on the professor's plans, his device will be mine! We'll make the volcano erupt at our command! And when they evacuate the city, we'll ransack every pearl shop in town! (cackles as he drives off)

Bowser: Now, let's see how the severity of the situation unfolds. (cackles as he watches from afar)

(At the hotel, Madeline, Danielle, and Pepito are sitting in a separate room.)

Danielle: Why does Pepito have to sleep in our room, Madeline?

Madeline: Just between you and me, I think it is punishment for letting him stowaway. Do not forget, you voted for him to stay.

Danielle: Yes, but that was before the horrible snake got lose. (Gordo comes out of Pepito's shirt; shrieks) Get it away!

Bowser: Hmm? (hears footsteps) Well, now. Here comes our pawn now. (giggles wickedly) Let's see what she's going to do this time.

Miss Clavel: (angrily enters the room) Pepito, I just got off the telephone with your parents. They said you told them I agreed to your coming. Too bad you forgot to ask me first.

Pepito: I was wrong to lie and stow away. But I had to protect Madeline. Really, it is true.

(Our heroes eavesdrop on the conversation with nervous looks on their faces.)

Miss Clavel: (V.O.) Right. Now, your parents said to tell you to enjoy your stay.

Pepito: Really?

Miss Clavel: Of course. (V.O.) Because when they get here to take you home, you are going to be grounded for life!

Heroes: (gasps in horror and look at each other in deep concern)

Miss Clavel: (V.O.) If not longer!

Pepito: Ay, yai, yai!

Bowser: (grins evilly and cackles)

Miss Clavel: (to Madeline) As for you, young lady, you will be spending spring vacation in your room for your part in this!

Madeline: (gasps) Oh, no! (Miss Clavel leaves the room) (to Pepito) Thanks a lot.

Pepito: Sorry. Well, we do not have much time left. So, we'd better start surfing now.

Madeline: (annoyed) Hmph!

(As an angry Miss Clavel leaves the room, Bowser secretly watches from behind the palm trees. He is mostly pleased that his pawn is unknowingly helping him and the scarfaced-man with their evil plans.)

Bowser: (whispers) Yes, perfect. Very good, my dear. Keep that stupid little girl and her annoying boyfriend occupied with your groundings. For you're being a very big help in fulfilling my plans. (chuckles evilly) I love my job! And do you know why? Because I love being bad! (giggles wickedly; immediately leaves)

(Ash nervously watches as Miss Clavel leaves the room.)

Ash Ketchum: Guys, I'm a little worried about Miss Clavel's decision of grounding Madeline and Pepito.

Brock: Me too.

Misty: Same here. I'm starting to think she's taking this punishment a bit too far and a bit too harshly. Should we at least convince her to give them another chance?

Ash Ketchum: I don't know. Considering how angry she was, I don't think she'll ever think about that.

Daphne Blake: But what are we going to do to help prove their innocence? What if Pepito's right about this "scarfaced man" being here? What if Madeline really is in danger? And most important of all: what if he is behind all of the trouble he's causing for the children?

Fred Jones: Well, gang, it looks like it's up to us. We need to get to the bottom of this right away and find out who this "scarfaced man" really is.

Velma Dinkley: That's right! But first, let's think back to the first scene of the crime. And I think we're gonna need a little help from someone back home.

Investigating the Scarface Man's crime

(Back in France, a phone is seen ringing.)

Lord Cucuface: Alright, alright, I'm coming! (answers the phone; clears throat) Bonjour! Lord Cucuface speaking!

Velma Dinkley: (V.O.) Uh, hello? Monsieur Cucuface? This is Velma Dinkley from the mystery solving team, Mystery Incorporated.

Lord Cucuface: Velma? Oh, yes! Velma! How's every little thing, dear?

Velma Dinkley: (V.O.) Uh, not so good. You see, Miss Clavel, the girls, and the rest of us were originally planning to spend a nice quiet vacation in Tahiti. But unfortunately, before we can make the trip, she claims that both Madeline and Pepito were doing naughty things.

Lord Cucuface: What kind of things?

Velma Dinkley: Well, first she speculated that they ruined her rose bushes on purpose and then she grounded them without letting them give an explanation. But that's not all. Pepito claims that there is a "scarfaced man" lurking about, and we believe that he might have something to do with getting the children into trouble.

Lord Cucuface: I see. So, what do you want me to do about it?

Velma Dinkley: Well, I'm asking you if you could get some police officers or FBI agents to do a little investigation at the old house. Just to see if you could find any clues that could help us. You see. We're trying to solve this mystery of the "scarfaced man" Pepito keeps mentioning about and we need to see if he and Madeline are innocent while also prove if the man is real or not.

Lord Cucuface: Oh, I see! Well, you've got yourself a deal, Velma, my dear! I'm happy to be of service to you! I'll have Monsieur Le Gendarme search the place and if he finds anything suspicious, I'll send some evidence to you right away.

Velma Dinkley: Thank you very much, Lord Cucuface. We really appreciate your help.

Lord Cucuface: Think nothing of it. Good day.

Velma Dinkley: Bye! (hangs up) Monsieur Cucuface is going to do some investigation at the old house for us.

Daphne Blake: In the meantime, I'll go see if I can try to calm Miss Clavel down and talk her out of the harsh decision she's made. And maybe give the kids another chance.

Misty: Me too.

Brock: Same here.

Fred Jones: And me too.

Velma Dinkley: Okay, but I don't know what good that'll do.

Fred Jones: Trust us, Velma. She'll reconsider eventually.

Ash Ketchum: Okay, good luck, you guys. (to his other friends) I hope they know what they're doing.

Velma Dinkley: I hope so too, Ash. I seriously hope Miss Clavel's in a listening mood.

Miss Clavel reluctantly gives Pepito and Madeline another chance

Daphne Blake: Miss Clavel, we know you're very upset about Pepito stowing away without your permission, but don't you think you're taking all of this a little bit too far?

Miss Clavel: My decision is clear, Daphne. Pepito must learn the hard way that he should be modest in himself. And Madeline must also learn her lesson as well. This is punishment enough and that's that.

Misty: But he wants to protect Madeline from this "scarfaced man". And grounding him for life just doesn't seem like a fair punishment to us. It just seems a bit harsh.

Fred Jones: Look, we don't know who this "scarfaced man" is. But we're doing our best in figuring that out by solving this mystery. You just have to trust him and Madeline like how you trust us in protecting the children.

Miss Clavel: (pouts) Hmph! I won't do it!

Brock: Look, you and the children want to have a good time, right?

Miss Clavel: (her face softens up) Well, yes.

Misty: And you want us to ensure their safety, right?

Miss Clavel: Yes.

Daphne Blake: Then what is your problem? What is it that you have against Pepito's good intentions of trying to protect Madeline from this "scarfaced man"?

Miss Clavel: I-I-I don't know. It's so complicated. In fact, I'm not so sure if this man is real or not.

Daphne Blake: We're not sure if he's real either, Miss Clavel. But we're keeping our eyes peeled for that guy. And besides, this is everyone's vacation. Including Pepito's. You just need to loosen up and chill. Let him and Madeline have some fun.

Brock: Yeah, give the kids another chance. Let them enjoy their stay in Tahiti so you can kick back and relax.

Miss Clavel: But, but, but, but-

Misty: Please, Miss Clavel? At least let them enjoy themselves. It's much better than having them sulk in their rooms and miss out on all the fun all vacation long. Because if you and the Ambassadors ground them forever, you'll end up taking away their freedom for no reason. What have they got to lose? And what have you got to lose?

Genie: Might we remind you of the reason why you're here in the first place: the cold you caught after you got rained on back in Paris?

Fred Jones: And might we remind you of the incident with Madame LaCroque?

Miss Clavel: (thinks back to the time she got a cold back home and how everyone worked together to help Madeline defeat LaCroque and foil her plans)

Genevieve: (whimpers)

Miss Clavel: (groans) Alright! (calmly) Fine... I'll give them another chance. But on one condition, you must make sure that Pepito doesn't cause any mischief during our stay in Tahiti. Or else there is gonna be trouble for him. And also, you must make sure that Madeline is on her best behavior as well.

Daphne Blake: Deal! (shakes Miss Clavel's hand)

Ash Ketchum: Pepito, we have something very important to tell you.

Misty: We don't think you and Madeline are responsible for the vandalism of Miss Clavel's rose garden.

Brock: So, Velma ordered Lord Cucuface to have police officers as well as the FBI investigate the old house and find evidence that'll prove your innocence and if the "scarfaced man" is truly real.

Pepito: Really?

Ash Ketchum: Really. But now, all you and Madeline have to do is stay out of trouble for a few more days. Which means no causing mischief whatsoever. Understand?

Pepito: (sighs sadly) Si.

Misty: Very good. Now, how's about you go get yourself cleaned up and go have some fun with your friends, okay?

Pepito: Okay. (runs off to go have fun with his friends)

Meeting up with Moana

Moana: (V.O.) HELLO, OUT THERE!!!

Ash Ketchum: Huh?

Heroes: Hmm?

Miss Clavel: Ooh, la, la!

Ash Ketchum: (looks out to sea and gasps upon seeing someone female sailor he recognizes) Moana?!

Moana: (surfs through the waves on her boat) Whoo-hoo! Yes! Yeah! (reaches shore; laughs) Whoo!

Ash Ketchum: Miss Clavel, Madeline, Pepito, little girls, we'd like you all to meet our very close friend from the Polynesian islands, Moana.

Misty: She's an expert explorer who ventured across the vast reaches of the seas, looking for new islands she and her people would call home.

Madeline, Pepito and the girls: (in awe) Wow!!!

Miss Clavel: Oh, my! That is impressive! (shakes Moana's hand) It's such a privilege to meet you, dear.

Moana: And it's an honor to meet you as well, madame. You too, kids.

Meeting Taro/Fun in the Sun reprise

(The scene changes to Madeline, Danielle, and Pepito preparing to surf. A seagull flies up and caws at Madeline.)

Madeline: Yes, hello, Mr. Gull. Which way to the beach?

Seagull: (caws as it points to the beach and flies away)

Madeline: (giggles)

Pepito: I did not know you could talk to seagulls.

Madeline: Better than talking to snakes. Or people who get you in trouble all the time.

Scarfaced-Man: My apologies for the delays, master.

Bowser: But do you have the professor's paperwork?

Scarfaced-Man: I had to pick a few locks, but I've got them. (holds out the paperwork. Bowser holds his hand out, but the scarfaced-man jerks the papers away) Ah, ah, ah. My payment?

Meowth (Team Rocket): Meow! (jumps and swipes the paperwork from the scarfaced-man's hand)

Scarfaced-Man: D'ow!

(Meowth then gives the paperwork to Bowser.)

Bowser: Trust me, my pungent little friend. You'll get what's coming to you.

The story of Pele/Entering the volcanic shrine

Madeline: Ooh, la, la! It smells delicious. (tastes the fish) It is delicious.

Moana: You should try this entrée. (puts a roasted pig on the table)

Little girls: Ooh!!!

Taro: (singing) The goddess of water

and the goddess of fire

Were sisters who clashed

about their object of desire

Pele fought with fire

and the heat of their tempers

Grew higher and higher

Moana: (applauds) Bravo! Bravo! Splendid performance, right Pepito? (giggles)

Pepito: If you say so.

Bowser: (growls angrily) So, Ash and his friends think they could interfere by letting Miss Clavel cut the kids some slack, eh?! Oh, well. No matter. We're still close to earning what we wanted: the Tahitian pearls. Come on, men. Let's go get something to eat and then get some sleep for the night. All this Pele nonsense is making my head hurt.

Scarfaced-Man: You said it, boss.

Jessie: Aw, but I liked the show.

James: Me too.

Meowth: Me three.

Wobbuffet: Wobbu, Wobbu.

Pele's anger and curse/The volcano erupts

Madeline: (gasps) Where did you get this?! It is a statuette of Pele!

Pepito: It is just an old rock I found by the lava tube. I was just going to give it to my parents as a souvenir.

Madeline: You lied to me! You said you did not take anything from the shrine!

Pepito: It did not come from the shrine! It was next to the lava tube!

(Suddenly, an earthquake happens.)

Pepito: (gasps)

Danielle: Earthquake!!

Madeline: Everyone outside! Quick!

(Everyone runs outside.)

Madeline: Look!

(The volcano is erupting smoke and lava.)

Madeline: You have brought the wrath of Pele upon us by stealing this from her shrine! Now I must take it back! (runs off to take the statue back to Pele's shrine)

Pepito: She is being crazy! I must go after her!

Danielle: No! You must tell Miss Clavel!

Heroes: (panicked) WHOA!!!!

Shaggy Rogers: Zoinks! Like what is that?!

Scooby-Doo: Yeah, what is that?!

Daffy Duck: (gasps) Guys, look up there!

(They all run out and see birds flying away.)

Velma Dinkley: Jinkies. I don't like the looks of this.

Daphne Blake: Me neither.

Moana: Hmm... (sniffs something in the air, and it was something toxic)

Ash Ketchum: Moana?

Moana: Something's wrong. The island is being disrupted by an unknown force. We must hurry and investigate. Now!

(They all run out and go to where the source of the island's disruption is. There, they find a horrible discovery: Tahiti's slumbering volcano is erupting smoke and lava.)

Moana: (gasps) No!

Misty: The volcano's erupting?

Fred Jones: But how is it possible?

Daphne Blake: I thought it was a slumbering volcano.

Velma Dinkley: So, did all of us, Daphne.

Ash Ketchum: Something doesn't seem right about this.

(Suddenly, the phone rings.)

Brock: I'll get it. (answers it) Hello? (instant chatter) Oh, sure. Hold on a minute. Velma, it's for you.

Velma Dinkley: (takes the phone) Hello? Oh, Lord Cucuface, it's you. (instant chatter) What's that? (chattering) Really? (chattering) You serious?! (chattering) And it's on a flash drive?! (chattering) Oh, that's great! When's it com-? (chatter) Right now?! (chattering) Oh, thank you! Thank you so very much, sir! I'll make sure that we'll pay you with a $50,000 check for your service! See you when we get back to France, sir! (hangs up) Lord Cucuface has found proof of Madeline and Pepito's innocence, guys! We're in the clear! (laughs)

Heroes: Hooray! (cheering and dancing)

(But the celebration is cut short when another earthquake struck.)

Daffy Duck: Uh,... let's save the celebrating for later.

(Later, an airplane is shown flying above them. It drops a small crate, and it parachutes down towards the group. Shaggy and Fred open the crate, revealing a laptop and the flash drive containing the footage that'll prove Madeline and Pepito's innocence. Brock takes the laptop and flash drive from the crate.)

Ash Ketchum: This is it, guys. Time to go prove their innocence to Miss Clavel and put an end to this mystery for good. Now, let's go!

Madeline: (pants) Hold your temper, Pele! Pepito didn't mean it!

(But as Madeline continues running, a shadowy figure is seen watching her from within the trees.)

Proving Madeline and Pepito's innocence

Velma Dinkley: Miss Clavel! Miss Clavel! Miss Clavel!

Brock: We had Lord Cucuface investigate the old house back at France and he sent us this. (holds up a flash drive)

Daffy Duck: In fact, he said that you should take a look at it.

(Velma plugs the flash drive into the laptop and types down the password to it. Then she goes to play the footage of the old house. It shows the "scarfaced man" at the window and his crime of vandalizing Miss Clavel's rose garden before leaving.)

Miss Clavel: (gasps) Ooh, la, la!

Bugs Bunny: See, Miss Clavel? Madeline and Pepito were telling the truth.

Misty: And he had every right to be suspicious about him. And to why he stowed away with us.

Daphne Blake: Because he was scared that the man was going to hurt Madeline while committing crimes on this island.

Miss Clavel: What crimes?

Fred Jones: The scarfaced man knew that the island possessed rare pearls and was planning to steal them and sell them to the market at a valuable price.

Shaggy Rogers: And the only way to do that was to cause a volcanic eruption that'll scare people off this island.

Miss Clavel: Quel dommage! I can't believe I didn't believe Pepito about this "scarfaced man" person. I owe him and Madeline a big apology.

Velma Dinkley: I think you'd better hold the apologies for later, Miss Clavel. But now we need to figure out this part of the mystery: how is the scarfaced man causing the volcano to erupt and what is he using to make it erupt?

Heroes: Hmmm....

Professor Borea: (shows up) I have some bad news! Someone stole vital papers from my briefcase, and they must be using my device to start an eruption!

Everyone: (gasps in horror)

Ash Ketchum: He's using a machine to make it erupt?!

Sylvester the Cat: Suffering succotash! That's insane!

Pepito: Ay, yai, yai! It is the scarfaced man's doing! I knew it! And now Madeline has gone to the volcano!

Heroes: What?!

Ash Ketchum: (grabs Pepito by the shirt; furiously) When were you going to tell us about that, Pepito?! (pants heavily in anger)

Pepito: Well, I... I... uh...

Bugs Bunny: That doesn't matter now. We gotta go to the volcano and save her from that crazy man!

Pepito: Bugs is right, amigo. This is all my fault! I'm going to save Madeline! No matter how dangerous this is!

Ash Ketchum: Pikachu and I are coming with you, Pepito! Not just because you might need backup, but because you owe me big time for this.

Pepito: I'm sorry, Ash. Now let's hurry! We've got no time to lose!

Ash Ketchum: Right!

(Ash, Pikachu, and Pepito run off to save Madeline.)

Taro: Wait, Pepito!

Miss Clavel: Stop!!

Evacuating the island

Professor Borea: We have to get to the Gendarme and go after them. Miss Clavel, you must get the rest the young ladies to safety.

(The Tahitian police arrive at the scene.)

Tahitian police: Your attention please! The volcano is erupting! We must evacuate the city!

(Ash and Pepito is running up to the volcano. Pepito trips over the from the volcano's vibration but continues forward.)

Ash Ketchum: (pants heavily) Pepito, slow down!

Pikachu: Pika!

(Back with our heroes, the bus pulls up to the curb.)

Tahitian police: Please move calmly. The bus will take you to safety.

(The girls board the bus.)

Miss Clavel: Mirania, the young woman who taught us to dance is going with the girls. I am coming with all of you. I am bringing Genevieve with us. She will help us find them.

Moana: And I'm going with you too. I can help you navigate the island and protect you from the incoming volcanic rocks.

Miss Clavel: Thank you, Moana, dear.

Pepito: (breathes) Madeline, can you hear me? Caramba! How did Taro get in here? I cannot find the catch! (inadvertently finds the key and the rock opens) Wow! Thank you, rock, or whatever. (enters as the rock closes)

(Madeline reaches the magma chamber, but she makes a horrifying discovery.)

Madeline: (gasps) The scarfaced man?! Oh, no! Pepito was right!

(The scarfaced man is responsible for causing the earth tremors with the machine, using the professor's blueprints he stole under Bowser's orders.)

Scarfaced man: Ah, it's working fantastically! The professor is a genius! Heh, heh! We must reward him with one of the pearls from the pearl shops of Papeete. Soon, the pressure will build to the point where I can create a small eruption. It will ensure that the city will be completely evacuated.

Man 1: But Boss, what if-what if something goes wrong?

Scarfaced man: You fool! I am in command! The volcano answers to me!

Madeline: He is mad. I have to get help. (bumps into one of the scarfaced man's henchmen)

Man 2: Going somewhere?

Scarfaced man: It's that little red-haired pest! Grab her! (but she escapes as the volcano creates another earth tremor) Don't let her get away!

Stopping Bowser and the Scarfaced Man/Final Battle

(Meanwhile, Miss Clavel, the Tahitian police, Taro, Professor Borea, Moana, and our heroes follow Genevieve as she attempts to track down Madeline and Pepito.)

Genevieve: (barks)

Bugs Bunny: What is it, Genevieve?

Genevieve: (barks)

Brock: She might have picked up a trail!

Misty: Atta girl!

Miss Clavel: Yes, good dog! Find Madeline and Pepito!

Genevieve: (barks)

Professor Borea: Watch out!

(The volcano erupts flaming rocks everywhere.)

Moana: Everyone, scatter!

(The group scatter in different directions to avoid the fire rocks.)

Moana: (grunts as she deflects the volcanic rocks with her oar)

Misty: Gyarados, Politoed, use Hydro Pump! (summons Gyarados and Politoed)

Brock: Ludicolo, Marshtomp, use Water Gun!

(The Water-type Pokémon each use their attacks to deflect the fire rocks. But a lone fire rock is aiming right at Miss Clavel and Professor Borea. However, a water-like shuriken sliced the fire rock in half, causing it to explode. This left them both wondering who saved them. Back in the cave, Madeline is getting chased by the scarfaced man's henchmen.)

Man 2: Stop, little girl! We won't hurt you we promise!

Madeline: Poo, poo, to you! You belong in a zoo! (gets pulled in by Pepito) Whoa! No! Let me go-!

Pepito: (shushes her by covering her mouth) Shh! It's me!

Madeline: What are-?

Pepito: Squeeze in here with me! They're coming! (they hide in a small area)

(The earth tremors once more.)

Man 1: I don't like this!

Man 2: Me neither! What if the boss can't control the machine after all?

Man 1: I agree! Forget the girl! Let's get outta here! (they run out) All the pearls in Tahiti aren't worth dying for!

Pepito: (to Madeline) Are you okay?

Madeline: Yes, but what are you doing here?

Pepito: I came to save you. No matter what has gone wrong between us, you are still my friend.

(The earth tremors again.)

Madeline: I should've believed you, Pepito. You were right. The scarfaced man is here. He is causing the volcano to erupt. We have to get help!

Pepito: Wait! We have been friends for a long time. I was mad that you did not believe me about the roses. Then I was jealous of Taro. Let us put that all behind us now. We make a good team, you and I. We can stop the scarfaced man by ourselves. With a little help from Gordo of course.

Madeline: Are you sure of this?

Pepito: No problemo. I promise.

Madeline: This time I'm going to believe you, Pepito. We can do this!

(Outside, the volcano continues to unleash its fiery wrath as it spews lava down the mountain side. Back on the ground, Ash is trying to find where Pepito went until he stumbles upon the entrance of the cave.)

Ash Ketchum: (pants heavily as he rests at the door; examines it) Alright, let's see now. How do we open this? (pushes the secret button) Whoa!

Pikachu: Pika!

(Ash and Pikachu fall through the secret door.)

Ash Ketchum: (grunts) Wow! That was cool. Now, I'd better find Madeline and Pepito fast! I hope we're not too late, Pikachu!

Pikachu: Pikachu!

(As Ash and Pikachu run into the cave to rescue Madeline and Pepito, the shadowy figure peeks in and looks at them. Elsewhere, Team Rocket and the villains have gathered the pearls they've stolen during the evacuation.)

Jessie: Here are the pearls, Bowser.

James: Just as we promised.

Meowth: All in the bag.

Bowser: (takes the bag of pearls and examines one of them) Hm... Yes. Very exquisite. Remarkable texture. But incredibly rare. Great job, Team Rocket. Now, let's go see how our little friend is doing with the device he's using at the volcano.

Team Rocket: Yes, sir!

(The scarfaced man's henchmen keep running until they bump into the Tahitian police, our heroes, Miss Clavel, Taro, Professor Borea, and Genevieve.)

Tahitian police: Stop in the name of the law!

Miss Clavel: Get them, Genevieve!

Genevieve: (barks)

Man 1: Help! Mad dog! (he and his partner are halted by Bugs and Daffy)

Bugs Bunny: Eh, what's up, Doc?

Daffy Duck: Going somewhere?

(The two thugs turn around, but cornered by the Mystery Inc and Genie.)

Scooby-Doo: (growls)

Genie: Surprise!

(The thugs make one last attempt to escape, but are cornered by Littlefoot and his friends.)

Cera: Hello!

(Gyarados roars at them as Ludicolo, Marshtomp, and Politoed all glare at them.)

Man 2: Alright, alright! We give! We give! Call them off!

Misty: Good boys!

Miss Clavel: You must behave, or Genevieve will tear you limb from limb! (giggles; whispers to her friends) I've always wanted to say that.

Genevieve: (barks)

Scooby-Doo: (barks and growls)

(The police cuffs them to the tree.)

Professor Borea: Where are the two children?

Man 1: Two? There's a little girl somewhere in the cave. We lost track of her. That's all we know about.

Taro: I know where to find them.

(Back in the cave, Team Rocket and Bowser are about to meet up with the scarfaced man. But as they are about to greet him, they immediately become shocked because he is fiddling around with the controls and not using it right.)

Scarfaced man: (fiddling with the controls) I don't understand! I can't control this stupid thing!

Bowser: What?! (growls in anger) Are you freaking kidding me?! I built that machine for him as part of the plan, and yet, he doesn't know how to operate it?! Ugh! What an idiot!

(Suddenly, the pressure begins the build in the volcano.)

Scarfaced man: No, no, not yet! (pushes the wrong buttons) It's not working!

Bowser: Ugh! That fool! I knew I shouldn't have entrusted him to use that machine!

Jessie: You said it.

James: What a pathetic man he is.

Meowth: (sees the children) Huh? Hey, guys, look!

Bowser: (growls) It's those brats!

Pepito: Stop!

Scarfaced Man: You!

Madeline: Pele is angry. You must go!

Scarfaced Man: Who do you kids think you are? Get out of here! I mean it!

Ash Ketchum: (V.O.) HEY, FATSO! (appears at the entrance of the shrine) Get away from those kids!

Pikachu: (sparks electricity) Pikachu...!

Madeline and Pepito: Ash!

Team Rocket: It's the twerp!

Scarfaced Man: Huh? Oh, coming to their rescue, huh? How sweet. But too bad! I'm in command and I control this volcano! Once this island is evacuated, I'll ransack every pearl shop in this city!

(The volcano rumbles, causing another earthquake.)

Ash Ketchum: You're insane! Do you really think using a machine to create a volcanic eruption could really help you accomplish in stealing pearls?! Once this volcano destroys the island, there isn't gonna be any pearls left! They'll all be gone! And so will everything else!

Scarfaced Man: Foolish kid! I don't believe in such nonsense! I'm the one who's in command I will get those pearls and there is nothing anyone can do to stop me! Not even you!

Bowser: No, you idiot! (reveals himself) I am the one who is in command of this operation!

Ash Ketchum: (gasps) Bowser?!

Bowser: (to the Scarfaced Man as he grabs him by the neck) You clearly have no idea who the boss is, do you, you simpleton?! I was the one who gave you the instructions of stealing the professor's blueprints! And it was I who gave you the plans of creating the device so that you could create the volcanic eruption and steal the pearls and bring them to me for my evil plans! Yet, you had no idea, you feeble excuse of a thief! Your time of serving me is over! (throws him down, making him scared) But my time as ruling this world is just beginning. (pushes the buttons on the machine and reactivates it correctly)

Pepito: Hey, stop that!

Madeline: What are you doing?! You're hurting Pele!

Bowser: Zip it, pipsqueaks! I don't believe in this silly fire goddess legend like you do.

(Miss Clavel, our heroes, Professor Borea, Moana, Taro, and Genevieve arrive at the scene. They all gasp upon seeing the appearance of Bowser.)

Misty: (whispers) It's Bowser!

Brock: (whispers) What's he doing here?!

Ash Ketchum: So, you helped the Scarfaced Man escape from the police in France. And then you used Miss Clavel to punish Madeline and Pepito for the Scarfaced Man's crimes at the vine-covered house. It was to cover up your tracks and keep them from interfering.

Bowser: That's right, Ash Ketchum. If she was here right now, I wish to thank her for keeping those two brats out of the way and for allowing me to give me time to complete my plans. She has been very "helpful" to me.

Miss Clavel: (gasps in horror)

Bowser: And now, thanks to her distracting everyone, (holds up a bag of Tahitian pearls) I've got the pearls I need for my hypnotic modulator so that I can combine them with the diamonds the Crime Empire stole for me and then brainwash the whole world into worshiping me as their master! (cackles evilly)

Madeline and Pepito: (gasps in horror)

Miss Clavel: (gasps and whispers) What have I done?!

Ash Ketchum: I am not going to let that happen, Bowser!

Moana: (V.O.) And neither will we, you horrid monster!

Ash Ketchum: Guys?!

Misty: We cannot believe you would have the nerve to use Miss Clavel for you own evil plans!

Brock: That was pretty low! Even for you, Bowser!

Bugs Bunny: We're putting an end to this charade of yours, pal! Madeline and Pepito have had enough!

Daffy Duck: That's right!

Ash Ketchum: Oh, yeah? Watch me! (summons Lucario) Lucario, Bullet Punch!

(Suddenly, a huge water-like shuriken appears out of nowhere and stops the man from touching the children.)

Madeline and Pepito: (screams in fear)

Scarfaced Man: (grunts and growls)

(Much to everyone's surprise, a frog ninja-like Pokémon is seen from the crater of the volcano. It turns around and shows its face, revealing itself to be...Greninja!)

Scarfaced Man: What?!

(Greninja jumps and swings down from one stalactite to another. It makes a remarkable landing, and it does its ninja pose.)

Ash Ketchum: (gasps upon seeing Greninja like he's seen it before) Gr-Greninja?!

(Greninja turns to see Ash and smiles at him.)

Ash Ketchum: It is you!

Pikachu: Pi? (recognizes Greninja) Pikachu!

Miss Clavel: Genevieve, how about we teach that brute a lesson?

Genevieve: (barks affirmatively)

Bowser: Try as you might, you fools! I am powerful than you! And being powerful than you puts you at the mercy of my wrath! (laughs wickedly as Genevieve runs up behind him) With you all powerless, who's gonna stop me now?! (Genevieve bites him in the tail; yells in pain and throws the pearls upward; gasps as he sees the pearls being hurled in the air) My pearls! (the bag of pearls begin falling into the lava pit) No! (goes to grab them, but are held back by Lucario and Greninja) No, no, no, no, NO!!! (the bag splashes into the lava, melting the pearls in the process) Ahh! Ahh! No!! My precious pearls! Gone! All gone!!

Miss Clavel: Maybe that should teach you to never mess with me, you terrible creature! Hmph!

Genevieve: (barks angrily)

Miss Clavel: Good girl, Genevieve.

Ash Ketchum: It's over, Bowser! You've got no pearls for your device!

Madeline: Pooh-pooh, Bowser! No pearls for you!

Ending

Professor Borea: Now it's time to thank Tahiti's newest heroes: Madeline, my son, Taro, and Pepito. Pepito, please join us on stage.

(Pepito joins them on the stage.)

Madeline: Thank you. But Pepito and Taro are the real heroes. I hope everyone thanks them for what they have done. Especially Pepito's parents, who have come all the way from Spain. And most importantly, I also want to thank all of our friends, Lord Cucuface from France, Ash Ketchum, and his fantastic team for clearing both mine and Pepito's name in the process of solving the mystery of the scarfaced man. For they too deserve the credit as they're also real heroes as well.

Ash and his friends: (blush and giggle)

Pikachu: (blush) Pikachu...

Pepito: Madeline is being much too modest. She made it much too possible for Taro and I to be here along with her. And to Miss Clavel, my parents, Ash Ketchum and friends, I am very sorry for misleading you. I had the best of intentions. Well, sort of. But I realize now I did it all wrong. It will not happen again.

Madeline: I will make sure of that.

Everyone: (laughs heartedly)

Miss Clavel: Pepito, we owe you an apology. Thanks to the footage Lord Cucuface and our friends showed me and the police, the scarfaced man confessed everything. Including how he spied on us at the old house in Paris on Bowser's orders.

Madeline: Then it was he and Bowser who ruined your rose bushes, Miss Clavel. Not Pepito.

Bugs Bunny: That's right, Madeline.

Daffy Duck: It turns out that you and Pepito were innocent the whole time.

Miss Clavel: Indeed, mon ami. I am sorry, Pepito. I am sorry, Madeline. And I am sorry, everyone. If I hadn't let my anger cloud my better judgment, I never would have let Bowser and the scarfaced-man trick me into grounding to two children in the first place. That way, this whole incident with them erupting the volcano as an advantage to steal the Tahitian pearls would not have happened. I hope that you can all forgive me.

Brock: Ah, forget about it, Miss Clavel.

Shaggy Rogers: Like, yeah! None of it was really your fault. You just didn't know.

Scooby-Doo: Uh-huh! Uh-huh!

Miss Clavel: And please give my sincere gratitude to Lord Cucuface for me, Velma. I truly appreciate him for helping clear this whole mess up.

Velma Dinkley: Of course, Miss Clavel.

Madeline: And I'm sorry too, Pepito. I should've believed in you all along.

Pepito: That is okay. I was so jealous of Taro. I was not thinking straight myself.

Ash Ketchum: (sighs) I know that feeling, Pepito. Heh. Believe me. I've been there.

Misty: Me too.

Pepito: We are friends again now. And that's what all that really counts.

Ash Ketchum: (laughs) You got that right, amigo.

Brock: Now, let's party!

Shaggy and Scooby: Yeah, party!
