All Chalked Up/Transcript

From Pooh’s Adventures Wiki
  • Narrator: The city of Townsville... it's high noon just in time for recess at Pokey Oaks Kindergartin where the girls and their classmates get an opportunity to blow up a little steam.
  • (We see the students playing at recess then Buttercup is playing dodgeball with Mitch.)
  • Buttercup: No mercy!
  • (She throws a dodgeball and Mitch gets hit in the face.)
  • Buttercup: (groans) Come on, Mitch! The game's called dodgeball! If you want to play catch instead just tell me. (gets hit in the face)
  • Mitch Mitchelson: In your face, baby!
  • (A dodgeball bounces into Bubbles' chalk drawings where she is drawing pictures onto the school ground. Then Bubbles picks up the ball.)
  • Buttercup: What are you doing with my ball?
  • Bubbles: Huh?
  • Buttercup: Give it! We got a game going on!
  • (She takes the ball.)
  • Buttercup: (groans in disgust) Oh, man. You got chalk all over it. You know, Bubbles, this is a playground not a drawing ground!
  • Mitch Mitchelson: Yo! What's the hold up?
  • Buttercup: I'm coming! Bubble head is just doing her chalk stuff again!
  • (Bubbles glares after her sister as she keeps drawing.)
  • Buttercup: Okay, Mitchy! Gimmie all you got! If you miss you gotta play with Bubbles and her chalk!
  • (Bubbles gets mad upon hearing it. Mitch and Buttercup face each other then he throws a ball and it bounces all over the playground and it went into Mitch which caused him to land on Bubbles' chalk drawings.)
  • Bubbles: Huh? Hey, you erased my drawing!
  • Mitch Mitchelson: Uh, sorry?
  • Buttercup: What are you apologizing for? She shouldn't draw her stupid pictures on the black top if she doesn't want them played on!
  • Bubbles: I have every right that you do to be here!
  • Buttercup: Oh, yeah?! Well, I don't--
  • Bubbles: I don't care what you think!
  • Buttercup: A playground is for playing!
  • Bubbles: And drawing is playing, you ninny!
  • (Buttercup and Bubbles continued arguing which amused the kids and they chanted "Fight!" but Blossom and the heroes witnessed the commotion.)
  • Blossom: Alright, break it up! Break it up!
  • Rabbit: What is all the fighting about?!
  • Bubbles: Well, she started it!
  • Buttercup: She was the one drawing all over the place!
  • (Bubbles and Buttercup kept on arguing which annoyed Blossom and the heroes.)
  • Ash Ketchum: (shouting) Cut it out, girls!
  • Rabbit: (shouting) Enough!
  • Blossom: Yeah, shut up! Bubbles, you first.
  • Bubbles: Well, I was minding my own business, drawing--
  • Buttercup: You see?!
  • Rabbit: No interruptions, young lady!
  • Blossom: Yeah, Buttercup, let Bubbles finish!
  • Mitch: Just fight already!
  • Ash Ketchum: You stay out of this, Mitch! Keep going, Bubbles.
  • Bubbles: Thanks, Ash. Buttercup has to share the blacktop just like everyone else.
  • Blossom: That sounds fair to me. Right, guys?
  • Pooh Bear: Why yes, it is, Blossom.
  • Buttercup: No way! I'm not sharing nothing! This is the playground! There's plenty of paper in the classroom! She doesn't need to fill up the blacktop with her scribbles! You guys know what I think of Bubbles and her drawings?! You know what I think?! (she stomps on Bubbles' chalk with her foot which shocks the heroes) That's what I think.
  • Pooh Bear: Oh, this will never do.
  • Pikachu: Pikachu.
  • Misty: Buttercup, how could you do such a thing to your little sister?!
  • Tigger: Yeah, Buttercup, that was so mean!
  • Rabbit: I am certain Ms. Keane would be very upset with you and your actions.
  • Buttercup: Whatever!
  • (Bubbles gets really angry and attempts to punch Buttercup but she bursts into tears and flies out into the forest away from the school grounds.)
  • Pooh Bear: Bubbles, please wait!
  • Piglet: Come back!
  • Ash Ketchum: Now, look what you've done, Buttercup! You've made your sister cry!
  • Rabbit: That's it! We're getting Ms. Keane! Tigger, Eeyore, come with me! Brock, you stay with Buttercup! Pooh Bear and Piglet, you go and comfort Bubbles in the forest with Ash, Misty and Pikachu!
  • Buttercup: But...!
  • Brock: No excuses, little lady! When we get home, we're gonna make sure we tell the professor all about how you've mistreated your sister today!

(As Brock sits next to Buttercup Tigger, Rabbit and Eeyore walk into the school to report the incident to Ms. Keane when nobody's looking Him peaks from the tree as he felt delighted upon seeing the incident.)

Him: Hmm. Brock, Tigger, Rabbit and Eeyore are rebuking Buttercup for bullying little Bubbles. Well, I love it when Buttercup bullies Bubbles and I also love it when she makes her cry.

(Him sees Pooh Bear, Piglet, Misty, Ash and Pikachu follow Bubbles into the forest)

Him: Hmm?

Ash Ketchum: Bubbles, wait! Where are you going?

Him: I wonder what Pooh Bear, Piglet, Ash, Misty and Pikachu are up to. Ooh, it looks like they're going to make little Bubbles feel better. (mocking sympathy) Oh, Bubbles, don't cry, little one. I know just the way to make you feel better too. Pooh Bear, Piglet, Ash, Misty and Pikachu will be in for a little surprise.

(Him laughs evilly as he plans to trick Bubbles once again and as Bubbles cries, Pooh Bear, Piglet, Misty, Ash and Pikachu comfort her.)

Ash Ketchum: Bubbles, we're really sorry for what happened.

Pikachu: (nestles against Bubbles) Pika.

Bubbles: I know my chalk is destroyed and now I have nothing to draw.

Misty: Buttercup should know better than to destroy your chalk.

Pooh Bear: Are you quite all right, Bubbles?

Bubbles: (crying) No.

Piglet: There, there, Bubbles.

Ash Ketchum: (hugging Bubbles) We know just how you feel.

(Suddenly a chalk box appears out of nowhere.)

Misty: Hey, look, Bubbles

Bubbles: Huh? What is it, Misty?

Misty: It's a chalk box except there's no chalk in it.

Ash Ketchum: Hmm, that's weird.

Pooh Bear: Look.

Piglet: What was that?

(The trees grow long and the flower bloom and just then a rabbit arrives with a chalk in it's mouth.)

Bubbles: Oh, hi, whatcha got there? Is that for me? Why, thank you.

(Bubbles puts the chalk into the box.)

Piglet: Where you going?

Pooh Bear: Please, come back.

(A pink bear holding a blue chalk that is behind the bush.)

Bubbles: Why, hello, cutest bear in the whole wide world.

Bubbles: Oh, I love each and every one of you. But, what is this magical place?

Him/Butterfly: (high pitched squeaky voice) We've been waiting a long time for you and your friends, Bubbles.

Bubbles: You have?

Him/Butterfly: Oh, yes. We've been waiting for the perfect time to welcome you all to our world!

Piglet: How long have you been here?

Him/Butterfly: As long as you had an imagination. (to Bubbes) As you can see we have a present for you.

Bubbles: The chalk!

Him/Butterfly: Yes, the chalk. And you can help make our world even more beautiful!

Bubbles: Aw, shucks. I couldn't do that.

Him/Butterfly: Oh, yes. You can! Isn't that right, friends? All we need is your imagination!

(Him, Bubbles, Pooh Bear, Piglet, Misty, Ash and Pikachu float against the black background.)

Pooh Bear: Where are we?

Him/Butterfly: The whole world is Bubbles' canvas.

Ash Ketchum: Wow, it's like a chalkboard.

Him/Butterfly: Yes, Ash, it is. (to Bubbles) And, here you can draw anywhere you want with your magical chalk. Try it.

Bubbles: But, what do I draw?

Him/Butterfly: Draw anything you feel. Draw what makes you happy.

Bubbles: Hmm, what makes me happy?

(Bubbles draws a plant stem.)

Bubbles: How's that?

Pooh Bear: Pretty.

Him/Butterfly: Good, but now watch.

(The chalk flower grows larger petals.)

Him/Butterfly: Draw some more! More happy things!

(Bubbles draws a nest with three eggs.)

Bubbles: There!

Piglet: Excellent.

Him/Butterfly: Look! (the eggs hatch and the baby birds chirp) (gasps happily) See what your imagination can do? Draw, draw, draw!

(As Bubbles makes more drawings, Pooh Bear, Piglet, Ash, Misty, Pikachu and Azurill look on.)

Misty: Feeling better, Bubbles?

Bubbles: Uh-huh. I've never drawn prettier things. They light up my life!

Ash Ketchum: Your drawings look great, Bubbles.

Pikachu: (agreeing) Pikachu.

Him/Butterfly: Well, there's more to it than happy little drawings.

Bubbles: What do you mean?

Him/Butterfly: Artists draw all of their feelings.

Bubbles: Like a happy feeling.

Him/Butterfly: Well, not just happy feelings. Haven't you ever been frustrated? Sad? How about angry?

Bubbles: No.

Him/Butterfly: No?

Bubbles: Never.

Him/Butterfly: Never?

Bubbles: No!

Him/Butterfly: No?

Bubbles: (angrily) No, never! (claps onto her mouth)

Him/Butterfly: Aha! It's okay to be angry, and it's important to express. Let's wipe the slate clean. (the drawings erase) Now, remember when Buttercup destroyed your chalk at the playground?

Bubbles: Yeah, it wasn't very fair!

Him/Butterfly: That's right! What about you, Pooh Bear and Piglet? Do you both ever feel sad?

Pooh Bear and Piglet: Sometimes.

Him/Butterfly: Ash and Misty, do you children ever get sad, frustrated and angry too?

Ash Ketchum: Oh, yeah, I can be. My Pikachu can get angry if anyone crosses him.

Pikachu: (agreeing) Pikachu.

Misty: Sure, we can get angry and frustrated sometimes. We often say negative things that we don't literally mean.

Him/Butterfly: Well said, Misty. (to Bubbles) Now, get your chalk. Let's draw that feeling.

Bubbles: What does it look like?

Him/Butterfly: Draw a big scribble. (Bubbles scribbles faster) Hard, fast, more, more, harder, faster! How does that make you feel?

Bubbles: Better I guess.

Pooh Bear: See, Bubbles, It's all right to be angry. But, it's never a good idea to get physical with Buttercup just because she was mean to you.

Piglet: Yes, it wouldn't be necessary to fight back. Rabbit, Tigger, Eeyore and Brock are teaching Buttercup a lesson.

Him/Butterfly: That's right, Pooh Bear and Piglet. (to Bubbles) Now, draw some more. Draw how Buttercup made you feel who is to she tell you what to do! Push you around!

Misty: (sighs) That's almost like when my sisters do that to me.

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, not to mention bullies ruining our day and if anyone upsets my Pikachu.

Pikachu: Pika.

Him/Butterfly: Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Misty and Ash. (to Bubbles) Feel your anger.

(Bubbles continues drawing angrily.)

Him/Butterfly: Did you get all your anger out.

Bubbles: Yes! I had no idea I could express myself like that.

Him/Butterfly: (flying away) Neither did I.

(Him/Butterfly leaves Pooh Bear, Piglet, Ash, Misty and Bubbles with all of the monster drawings then the camera fades to black. Meanwhile, back at school, Tigger, Eeyore and Rabbit just told Ms. Keane about Buttercup's actions and she is getting scolded by Ms. Keane herself.)

Ms. Keane: Buttercup! I am surprised at you! You know better than to mistreat your sister like that! Now, go out there, find Bubbles, and apologize to her right this instant!

Buttercup: But Ms. Keane!

Ms. Keane: Little lady, apologize to poor Bubbles!

Buttercup: But-But I didn't mean to! It's just that she was drawing all over the place, and-

Ms. Keane: Buttercup!

Rabbit: (sternly) No more excuses, young lady!

Tigger: (sternly) Just go say you're sorry to your sister.

Brock: (sternly) Apologize to her right now, Buttercup!

Buttercup: But why do I always have to be the one to apologize?! It was all her fault because she was drawing all over the blacktop while I was playing dodge ball with Mitch.

Rabbit: Well, so what if she was?! You could've at least just shared the blacktop with her!

Buttercup: What?! No way! I think you guys are wrong! You've heard what I said! I'm not sharing the blacktop with anyone! Because it's mine and mine alone!

(Ms. Keane, fed up with Buttercup's selfish attitude, finally puts her foot down, scaring Buttercup.)

Ms. Keane: No, Buttercup! They are not wrong! The blacktop is for everyone to play on, and you know it, young lady!

Tigger: Yeah! Now, you shut up and listen to us, you crabby little punk! It doesn't matter where Bubbles gets to draw her pictures with her chalks, crayons, paints, or markers. She can draw wherever she wants to! Even on the blacktop! What you did to her was really mean and selfish! So, if you cannot share the blacktop with her and with anyone else, then you're becoming nothing but a bully and selfish spoiled brat like Princess Morbucks is!

(Buttercup gasps in horror. The other school kids gasp in horror as well.)

Rabbit: Why don't you take a good look at yourself in the mirror, Buttercup?! (holds up his mirror) Take a look and see what kind of a selfish bully you had become to your sister!

(Buttercup looks at her reflection in the mirror. She reflects on the cruel, wicked smile she had when she smashed Bubbles' chalk and made her cry. She then suddenly gasps in horror, realizing she's becoming something she's not: a sadistic monster who showed no thought or feeling for anyone else.)

Blossom: Yeah, Buttercup. Bubbles didn't deserve that kind of cruel treatment when you created that argument and smashed her chalk. All she was simply doing was having some fun like the rest of us were. But you selfishly decided to escalate things and make our beloved sister cry. Look, if you want to make things right, then it's best that you go out and apologize to Bubbles right now.

(Back outside Pooh Bear, Piglet, Misty, Ash, Pikachu and Bubbles are teleported back on the school playground with the monster drawings that Bubbles drew.)

Misty: Hey, we're back on the school playground.

Ash Ketchum: That felt weird that we were in the world of canvas.

Pikachu: (agreeing) Pika.

Pooh Bear: Uh, Ash, Misty, Piglet, Bubbles. I seem to be having small problems.

Piglet: Bubbles. look!

(Bubbles gasped in horror upon seeing the monster drawings then they come to life.)

Blossom: Bubbles, there you are! What have you been up to?

(Bubbles points to those monster drawings.)

Blossom and Buttercup: Huh?

Brock: Misty! Ash! Pikachu!

Rabbit: Pooh Bear! Piglet!

Tigger: Where were you guys?

Eeyore: What's going on?

Misty: It's a long story, guys.

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, we'll explain later.

Pikachu: Pikachu.

Pooh Bear: Right now there's a serious problem.

Piglet: There's giant drawing monsters.

(The students are horrified upon seeing the drawing monsters.)

Blossom: Everyone get inside!

Eeyore: It's no use, guys!

Rabbit: Yeah, there's nowhere for us to hide!

Brock: (growls angrily) Buttercup, this is all your fault!

Buttercup: My fault?!

Brock: Yeah, your fault! None of this would've happened if you hadn't started this whole argument over the stupid blacktop and then smashed Bubbles' chalks that made her cry in the first place!

Tigger: And none of this would've made a difference if you had just apologized to your sister in the first place!

Blossom: Uh, guys, save the confrontation for later! We've got bigger problems like figuring out how to stop these monsters!

-

-

Ash Ketchum: Allow me, girls! Pikachu use Thunderbolt!

(Pikachu shocks the chalk monsters but they felt no effect.)

Piglet: Oh, dear. This isn't working.

Tigger: Yeah, they can't feel anything.

Ash Ketchum: Bubbles, we need your backup!

Blossom: Yeah, come on, Bubbles, please snap out of it! You've gotta help us beat those monsters!

Ash Ketchum: Oh, no!

Pikachu: Pika!

Piglet: Oh, d-dear!

Pooh Bear: This is bad very bad!

Misty: We can't take them down!

Bubbles: Yeah, he can't do that!

Him/Butterfly: I think he can.

Bubbles: Oh, thank goodness you're here. I drew all these monsters, and they came to life.

Pooh Bear: Yes, but now you're here you can help us.

Piglet: Is there anything you can do?

  • Him: But why would I help you when this whole thing was...(returns to his normal self, normal voice) my idea?
  • (The heroes gasp in horror upon realizing that the butterfly was actually Him in disguise.)
  • Pooh Bear: Oh, no, it's Him!
  • Piglet: Not that scary devil again.
  • Him: (giggles evilly) Surprise.
  • Rabbit: I might've known!
  • Ash Ketchum: I figured it was you all along, Him!
  • Him: Why, hello there, Ash.
  • Brock: You fiend! What were you up to?!
  • Him: Well, Brock, I've been watching little Bubbles cry thanks to Buttercup's bullying earlier that day. I felt delighted to see Buttercup destroy Bubbles' chalk which made her cry.
  • Buttercup: (gasps) No way!
  • Him: (giggles) Yes way. I've also been watching Pooh Bear, Piglet, Ash, Misty and Pikachu comfort Bubbles then I came up with a plan to use Bubbles as my pawn to have her draw monsters to destroy the school playground.
  • (The heroes are deeply angered at Him.)
  • Rabbit: What is the meaning of this?!
  • Pikachu: (angrily) Pika Pika!
  • Tigger: Yeah, brunos, what's the big idea making Bubbles draw monsters?
  • Bubbles: Yeah, it was you! You made me do this!
  • Him: (putting his arm around Bubbles) Au contraire. I just provided the chalk.
  • Blossom: You leave Bubbles alone!
  • Him: It was you who drew monsters.
  • Bubbles: Get your claws off me!
  • Misty: You're disgusting!
  • Pikachu: (angrily) Pika Pika!
  • Him: Why, thank you, Misty and Pikachu. (to Bubbles) That's good, express that anger just like before. Remember how good it felt?
  • Bubbles: OK, I will!
  • Ash Ketchum: (furiously) You've talked Bubbles into drawing those monsters, didn't you?!
  • Him: Yes, Ash, I did.
  • Ash Ketchum: You also pretend to be a nice butterfly!
  • Him: (chuckles) You and your friends are obviously easy to fool, my boy.
  • Misty: You've also made a dupe out of us, you evil freak!
  • Him: (chuckles) You are absolutely right, Misty.
  • Ash Ketchum: (growls) I'm gonna have Pikachu fry you!
  • (Pikachu attempts to shock him but get's stopped by Him.)
  • Him: Mmm-mmm-mmm, don't even think about it, Pikachu. Do you want the drawing monsters to crush you?
  • Heroes: No!
  • Him: Then, let little Bubbles express her anger.
  • Bubbles: I'll handle this, guys.
  • Tigger: How are you gonna do it, Bubbes?
  • Bubbles: Just watch.
  • Blossom and Buttercup: No, Bubbles, wait!
  • (Bubbles takes the chalk and the erasers, erasing angry mouths and eyebrows then drew happy mouths. Him gasped in shock and anger while the heroes smile happily.)
  • Blossom and Bubbles: Go, Bubbles!
  • Brock: All right, Bubbles!
  • Pooh Bear: Draw some more, Bubbles!
  • Piglet: Draw more happy things!
  • (Bubbles drew more happy things on the drawing monsters. Him got even more angry.)
  • Him: No! No!
  • Girls and Heroes: All right!
  • Him: You can't do that! You're supposed to express your anger!
  • Bubbles: I am. I'm just expressing it in a positive way. And I think you were more positive when you were a...(draws butterfly wings and antenna) little...butterfly. (Him felt embarrassed) What do you think, guys?

Blossom: Oh, yes.

Buttercup; Much better.

Tigger: Now, this is funny. Hoo-hoo!

(The heroes laugh in amusement which angers Him.)

Him: (growls in rage) No!

Ash Ketchum: (laughs) Looks like your plan failed, Him!

Pikachu: Pikachu!

Him: This isn't over, you annoying little brats! Not by a long shot, mark my words! Next time, I shall finish you off! (disappears)

Ash Ketchum: (dismissively) Yeah, whatever.

(The monster drawings fall to the ground as the girls and the heroes gasp.)

Brock: Incoming!

Blossom: You did it!

Misty: Nice work, Bubbles!

Buttercup: Yeah, you rock, Bubbles!

Tigger: Now, Buttercup, what do you say to your sister?

Buttercup: (sighs regretfully) Um, I'm, uh, well, uh.

Bubbles: (hugs her) That's okay, I forgive you.

Pooh Bear: (sighs) Thank goodness it's over.

Piglet: Oh, yes, I didn't like those scary monster drawings.

Rabbit: So, Buttercup, we trust that you've learned your lesson. Haven't you?

Buttercup: Yeah, Rabbit, I did.

Rabbit: Good.
