(In the evening, Saoirse's birthday party is over and it's time for bed. In the kitchen, Granny washes the dishes and the crockery. While she hums)

(As Granny continues to wash, Conor leaves the house to go to town while she watches her son leave. Conor is on the boat while Ferry Dan drives it. Meanwhile, Tino and the others talk about what happened today, then Saoirse in her pajamas shows up with Ben's storybook and sees Tino and the others again.)

(Saoirse points to Ben who is reading something from behind the curtains.)

(Saoirse nods and she takes Luca's hand to walk towards her brother.)

(Tino and the others follow them and they arrived to Ben who is reading something from behind the curtains. Saoirse (still holds Luca’s hand) opens the curtains and sees Ben while he’s reading. Then Saoirse shows Bronagh's storybook to her brother.)

'''Luca Paguro:''' You made that book before about your mom's stories.

(Tino and the others appear)

'''Ben:''' Yes and maybe you guys saw the owls on the pages of the book.

'''Ben:''' It's called Mac Lir. (Saoirse is scared while Luca tries to calm her down.) And maybe you guys saw a giant on the pages of the book.

'''Ben:''' Because that’s him in the book. It's called that because it's not an island at all, it's a huge giant. 

'''Daisy the bunny:''' Oh dear! The island is actually this Mac Lir?!

'''Ben:''' You see, Macha's owls took all the giant's feelings and turned him to stone. (Saoirse, Tino and the others move away from him little by little.) And do you know the worst of it? (He shows Mac Lir's image on the wall with the flashlight.) She was his mother! 

'''Saoirse, Tino and the others:''' (Gasp in horror)

'''Ben:''' He was her first victim and she hasn't stopped since. (He shows the fairies, Macha and her owls’ images on the wall with the flashlight.) To this day, all the fairies are afraid to come out on Halloween night because if they do, Macha's owls will find them and take their feelings and turn them to stone. 

'''Tino Tonitini:''' They turn into stone?!

'''Ben:''' Yes. Tomorrow is Halloween. Macha's owls might even come here and take Dad's feelings and turn him to stone! (He gives the flashlight to Saoirse while she’s scared.) And then nobody would love you. (He hides behind the curtains and scares Saoirse, Tino and the others while he imitates the owl.) And this is what Macha looks like. (Hooting)

They are said to be beings that can change from seal to human form by shedding their skin with the coat. And they also say that the selkies can sing a beautiful song and then the fairies can return home safely.
