Fed up at the treatment he received under Eggman and Bowser, Gamma declares his independence and reprograms the other E-100s except Beta, who is still aboard the Egg Carrier. Amy also heads there looking for Lily's family. Meanwhile, Sonic and the Rangers Eggman and Bowser in their new Egg Viper. Amy and Lily flee from Zero, Decoe, and Bocoe in the Egg Carrier and then witness Gamma and Beta battle and destroy each other. It is then revealed that Lily's brother and sister were the animals used to run Beta and Gamma.
