Prologue: the Legend of the Millennium Puzzle and the Pharaoh

Animus (Narrating): Long ago, when the pyramids were still young, Egyptian kings played a game of great and terrible power. They did battle with magic and monsters for riches and glory. From these Shadow Games erupted a war that threatened to destroy the world, until a brave and powerful Pharaoh locked the dark magic away, imprisoning it for all eternity within the mystical Millennium Items. But even eternity doesn't last forever...

(Scene Translades to Yugi Muto's House as we seen a boy named Yugi Muto assembling the Millennium Puzzle)

Animus (Narrating): It was never to happen. And for 5000 years, it never did. The secrets of the Millennium Puzzle remained safely beyond reach, within the imponderable conundrum of its intricate design. For a boy named Yugi, the mystery of the Millennium Puzzle remains just that. The solution—if one exists—eludes him, as it did those that came before. But this time, fate has played a hand in bringing the Puzzle and this person together.

Animus (Narrating): It was never to happen. And for 5000 years, it never did. But while the desert does it best to conceal what should remain buried, it eventually yield its most ancient and terrible secrets.

Animus (Narrating): It was never to happen. But after 5000 years, it did; and with it, the Shadow Games begin again.

Aisling's Arabian Night

• Aisling: Where am I?

A Clue / Enter the Mysterious Ishizu Ishtar

• Aisling: All in relation to Anubis.
• Mario: Anubis?, Call me crazy, paranoid or barmy, but are we referring to the Egyptian God of the Underworld and Lord of the Dead?
• Aisling: Were you expecting for Hades, perhaps?.
• Mario: Good Point.
• Mewtwo: This makes All sense, Yugi Muto should have finished the Millennium Puzzle years ago, and must have inadvertently Triggered the Spirit of Anubis without even realizing it because it has the Pharaoh's blood.
• Mimi Tachikawa: He still doesn't know it, when I did his profile, he told me that his grandfather Solomon had disappeared For a Millennium Item, by Maximillion Pegasus.
• Tai Kamiya: Some coincidence, huh?
• Tigger: You Don't Really Believe this Happen by Accident
• Sora Takenouchi (Digimon): No, someone from the New United Alliance of Evil or Dark Specter's Inner Circle must have known about it and has set this up.
• Aisling: Considering that Anubis was formerly one of Queen Bansheera's Acolytes, Long before the Sorcerer of the Sands and the Morphin Masters locked her in the Shadow World.
• Woman: Chosen Ones, I've been expecting you.
• Tai Kamiya: Huh?
• Tea Gardner: Ohh.
• Mewtwo: Who are you?
• Woman: I am Ishizu, And I have uncovered many mysteries about these ancient carvings using the magic of my Millennium Necklace.
• Mewtwo: A Millennium Item.
• Good Fairy: Like Father said.
• Ishizu: Like the Pharaoh's Millennium Puzzle, this necklace affords me certain powers. With it, I have gazed 5,000 years into the past to a time when evil sorcerers threatened to destroy the entire world.
• Pooh and Pals: [Gasps]
• Ishizu: However, there was one king who possessed a magic powerful enough to stop this evil threat.
• Ash: And who was this king?
• Ishizu: The pharaoh who saved the world was Yami. And now the time has come for all you to rescue mankind once again.
• Mewtwo: To rescue mankind from what?
• Ash: How do you know the world is in danger of being destroyed again?
• Ishizu: My Millennium Necklace also shows me visions of the future. Oh, my champion.
• Kari Kamiya: She knows?
• Ishizu: The events of the past will occur once again, and that same great evil will return to threaten us.
• Mewtwo: How will we recognize this evil?
• Stay Puft: Uh, Boss. I think she means this Anubis guy.
• Ishizu: Correct.

Seto Kaiba vs Maximillion Pegasus and Bowser Koopa

• Bowser Koopa: Well. Look who decided to show up. Mr. Arrogance himself.
• Seto Kaiba: Bowser Koopa? (to Pegasus) Since when do you do business with the New United Alliance of Evil?
• Maximillion Pegasus: I am still a shareholder in TGRI, basically in its headquarters in Angel Grove, since the one in New York has been closed due to the incident of Mutants Tokka and Rahzar.
• Seto Kaiba: No wonder, be thankful that they did not run into the Rebels. Those vigilantes have ruined several of their businesses.
• -This had better be important.
• Seto Kaiba: Listen, I've come to your little fantasy island in search of a card powerful enough to beat Yugi's Egyptian God cards.
• Maximillion Pegasus: And you believe I have this all powerful god-smitting card because...?
• Seto Kaiba: Because you created the game, Pegasus.
• Maximillion Pegasus: Once upon a time, Kaiba-Boy, but I'm retired now. The only things I create these days are places like this for the fishes to enjoy.
• Seto Kaiba: I know you, Pegasus. You created the "God" cards; and you would've never let them out of your sweaty little hands. Unless you created a way to beat them; just in case.
• Maximillion Pegasus: Oh very well, I confess. I may have one card that would help, but you can't have it.
• Seto Kaiba: What?
• Maximillion Pegasus: I'm sorry, Kaiba-Boy, but I don't think you deserve it. True I may not see as well as I once did (showing his eye), but to be honest, it doesn't take a magic eye just to see how through Yugi has trounced your sorry behind, again and again. Quite frankly, it's quite embarrassing.
• Seto Kaiba: Well, since I'm such a disappointment, you should have no trouble defeating me in a duel.
• Bowser Koopa: You're challenging Pegasus to a duel?
• Seto Kaiba: No not just Pegasus, you too.
• Bowser Koopa: You talk a big game, Kaiba. But talk is cheap.
• -And besides, even if we had this card that could beat Yugi's ace monsters, what could you possibly offer in exchange?
• Seto Kaiba: (pulls out three copies of Blue-Eyes White Dragon) Because, if you put up the card I need to beat Yugi, I'll wager these.
• Maximillion Pegasus: Wow, you risked your precious Blue-Eyes White Dragons just for a chance to trounce little Yugi? My, my, my, it seems your more desperate than I thought. Well, I guess I could dust off my deck and provide Koopa with one. (chuckles) Kaiba, my dear and devious friend, let the games begin.

Punishment to Kaiba

• Bowser (to Seto Kaiba): And Defying the New United Alliance of Evil is a Fool's Game.
• Seto Kaiba: What!?
• Bowser (Grabs Seto Kaiba): If your arrogance is not so high, come back with that attitude and I will make sure that I write your Name with your Little Brother the Ignored's on a couple of Tombstones for your Funeral.
• Seto Kaiba: You're Insane!

Welcome to the Shadow World / The Return of Skull Cavern

(Scene: Shadow World)

• Aisling: Hm, I Take it we're Not Welcome Here.
• Mario: Yeah?, There's a First. I'm going to get us all name badges that say 'Hello I'm not Welcome', or maybe T-Shirts or Coffee Mugs.

[Yugi runs from the mummies]

• Joey and Tristan: [In unison] Yugi!?
• Yugi: [Runs past them] Talk later! Run now!
• Luigi: What's with the Kid?
• Joey: Beats me. [He, Mario, Luigi, Tigger and Tristan see the mummies run towards them]
• Luigi: MAMMA MIA!!!!!!!!!!!
• Tristan: Zoinks!
• Mario: Come on, Guys! Looks like these mummy ghouls want to bag us like yesterday's litter!

Queen Bansheera's Lair

• Aisling: you Said it, G.

• Tai Kamiya: I have a hunch that it won't be the last time we see about Ishizu Ishtar.
• Mewtwo: I agree.
