From Pooh’s Adventures Wiki

Opening/Meeting Professor Utonium[edit | edit source]

Intro

(banjo playing and hammering)

Tigger: (growling and then splashing the paint) Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

Brock: Thanks for inviting us, Pooh.

Ash Ketchum: So what's the play about?

Winnie the Pooh: Don't worry, Ash. You'll find out.

(drumroll)

(applause)

(clatter)

Christopher Robin: Quiet. Ahem. And now we begin our play, which we call Pooh’s Adventures of The Powerpuff Girls Movie.

Piglet: The who?

Christopher Robin: Shh. Not yet. And it’s The Powerpuff Girls. Ahem. Act 1. Our story begins.

Narrator: The City of Townsville.

An explosion is suddenly heard, and a red hue emanates o.c. down on Townsville streets. An alarm is heard in the distance.]

Narrator: ...is in some serious, serious, serious trouble!

[Dissolve to the bank, where smoke pours from a large hole in the front wall—blasted by the explosion—and the alarm screams out. The building exterior is in disarray, and a car is crookedly parked in front. Zoom in slowly.]

Narrator: Day after day, crime, lawlessness and evil are running rampant.

[Dissolve to a donut shop with several police cars parked in front and their drivers inside. The alarm now sounds as from a distance. Zoom in slowly.]

Narrator: Its citizens have lost all hope! They are utterly helpless and in desperate need of a true hero!

[Dissolve to the exterior of Malph’s Market. A single car, a sporty little model, is parked outside. Zoom in slowly; the alarm is still heard muted.]

Narrator: But who? Is there no one who can help this forsaken town and make it a better place?

[Dissolve to an aisle of the market; soft Muzak is now heard instead of the alarm. The Professor rounds a corner, shopping basket in hand, and approaches the camera on the next line. He wears an expression of quiet resolve. As he comes closer, the view gradually tilts up to keep his face in frame until we are nearly looking straight up at the ceiling]

Narrator: Fear not, fair viewers. For there is a man, a man of science. A forward-thinking man who looks back.

[He stops and looks over his shoulder on this last; cut to a close-up of a checkout price scanner. A box of sugar is swept across it by a cashier’s hand.]

Narrator: Back to a sweeter time... [Four small jars of spices are scanned next.] ...when there was a spice to life...[Cut to the Professor, smiling and picking up his bagged purchases.]...and everything was...

[His face falls at the sound of a weapon being cocked; pull back down the counter to put Fuzzy Lumpkins in the foreground. He has his old shotgun trained on one very scared cashier.]

Narrator:...nice.

[The woman reaches into her register and pulls out a handful of cash. The pink hick smiles at this as the Professor sadly carries his groceries out.]

[Note: The four spices are parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme, all of which are mentioned in the song “Scarborough Fair.”]

[Cut to just outside the driver’s-side door of the parked car, which is his—he approaches with keys in hand. This is a change from the various vehicles he has driven on the show. The alarm is heard, again muted, as the Gangrene Gang’s reflections appear behind his in the window.]

Narrator: I must profess, sir, this man, holds the ingredients to Townsville's salvation!

[On the end of this, he catches sight of the Gang and turns, startled; cut to his perspective of them. Ace stands at the front of the group, fist cocked back.]

Narrator: This man, known simply as...

[The fist flies at the camera. Snap to black, accompanied by the sound of the punch landing.]

Narrator: ...The Professor.

Monkey on the Loose[edit | edit source]

[Snap to an extreme close-up of a screaming, pink-faced, diaper-clad monkey and pull back. This is Jojo, as seen in flashbacks during “Mr. Mojo’s Rising.” He is on a shelf loaded with beakers and flasks—this is the Professor’s lab at home. He leaps from here to other shelves, sending the glassware flying, and makes his way down the floor before running across it. Pull back across the room as the Professor trudges in with the groceries; he looks somewhat the worse for wear after the parking lot encounter. Jojo leaps up to grab hold of a wall-mounted TV, then punches out the screen. Freeze frame.]

A CARTOON NETWORK PRODUCTION

[He jumps down, the groceries are set on a countertop, and a tall bank of computer equipment becomes a climbing wall for the monkey. When he reaches the top, he pulls a tape reel loose and throws it down, the tape unwinding behind it. Freeze frame.]

Starring CATHERINE CAVADINI, TARA STRONG, E.G. DAILY, ROGER L. JACKSON, TOM KANE, TOM KENNY

[Jojo drops from his perch; cut to the Professor at his mixing bowl. He is pouring sugar in from the box. Back to Jojo, now running along the top of a file cabinet. When he reaches the front, he opens the top drawer and throws papers everywhere. Freeze frame.]

Written and storyboarded by CHARLIE BEAN, LAUREN FAUST, CRAIG McCRACKEN, PAUL RUDISH, DON SHANK

[Jojo jumps down; back to the Professor, who is now shaking spices into the bowl. The monkey leaps up from a countertop and grabs hold of a rack of glassware. This shatters and collapses under his weight, releasing a shower of chemicals and sending him down. Freeze frame.]

Art direction by MIKE MOON

[Jojo and the remains fall out of sight; back to the Professor once more. Now he is pouring in the “everything nice” mixture as seen in the show’s opening credits. Jojo climbs another rack until he reaches a wall clock, which he promptly punches out. Freeze frame.]

Animation direction by GENNDY TARTAKOVSKY

[He slides back down; now the Professor is stirring merrily away at the bowl. Alternate repeatedly between him and Jojo barreling across the lab, ending at the bowl—as Jojo pops up and shoves the Professor, knocking him off balance. The end of his spoon breaks a flask of black liquid that hangs nearby, and the lights go red. Freeze frame, then snap to black after a moment.]

Directed by CRAIG McCRACKEN

[The black drains away to reveal the label on the broken flask: “Chemical X.” Pull back; the bowl’s contents have begun to glow ominously and bubble a bit, and the Professor is momentarily paralyzed with fear. He finally starts to back away as Jojo watches from a short distance. The mixture now bubbles more fiercely, and the Professor dives for cover—but Jojo moves closer and eases his head up to look into the bowl. Snap to black to the sound of a huge explosion. As it dies away, the main title appears as it does on the show and backs away from the camera before fading out. This is accompanied by the girls’ giggling and the first seven notes of the theme tapped out on a glockenspiel.]

[The black screen wipes partially to a view of the lab, whose floor is now littered with bits of broken glassware. The lighting is back to normal. The camera is sitting just next to and behind the mixing bowl—the black area that is still visible; the Professor is at the far end, having been blown across the room to land up against a cabinet and knocked out. He sits motionless for a moment, then slowly opens his eyes partway. They suddenly pop wide open, and he shoots to his feet and backs up as far as the cabinet will allow. Cut to just behind him, the view filled by the back of his lab coat, as he slowly steps across the room; his footsteps echo in the space. After a moment, the view shifts again to point toward the ceiling at an angle. He advances, his eyes wide and his jaw hanging slack in surprise, and finally leans down. Ever so slowly, he tilts his head to one side, trying to sort out what he sees. Cut to his perspective—the mixing bowl, the ingredients, and the familiar three new arrivals, who are looking up at him and smiling. L to R: Bubbles, Blossom, Buttercup. Long silence.]

Pink Girl: Hi. (Professor exclaims) What's your name?

Professor Utonium: Oh, my name is uh... Professor, Professor Utonium. Hello.

Girls: Hello, Professor Utonium, it's very nice to meet you.

Professor Utonium: It's very nice to meet you too. What are your names?

Pink Girl: Well, you made us. So shouldn't you also name us?

Professor: Umm, okay! Oh, this is so cool! [to the girls, kneeling] Well, now let's see. [pointing to Blossom] Because of your directness and opening right up to me, I think I'll call you... [His perspective of them.]...Blossom

[She beams at this. Bubbles giggles; the other two look over at her. The whole group again.]

Professor: Well, aren't you all cute and bubbly? That's it! You'll be my little Bubbles!  [She smiles.]

[Close-up of Blossom.]

Professor: So, we have Blossom...[Pan to Bubbles, jumping in place.]...Bubbles... [To Buttercup, waiting eagerly.] and... Mm... Buttercup! Because... it also begins with a B!

[She looks a little put out at this rationale.]

Buttercup: Hmph! [Pull back to frame all four.]

Professor: And together, you are three perfect little gi- gi- gifts! Birthday! It's your birthday! I should get gifts! [He runs o.c.; we hear the door open and close.]

[Cut to a flight of stairs; he runs up them and through the house on the next line.]

Professor: Wow! I can't believe it! I wanted to create some kids I could teach good and bad, right and wrong, and in turn, maybe they'd do some good for this terrible town, and now I can!

[A door is heard opening and closing o.c.; cut to the exterior of the house. There are no round windows on the top floor. The garage door opens, and the Professor’s car rolls out.]

Professor: All I've got to do is be a good parent!

[The car speeds o.c.; after several moments, it pulls up and re-enters the garage. The back seat is piled high with boxes.]

Professor: Note to self - good parents don't leave their kids home alone. [The garage door closes.]

[Back to the living room as he carries the boxes in.]

Professor: Sugar, spice, and everything nice, who would have guessed that's what little girls were actually made of? [descending the stairs] I still can't believe it worked, that I actually made three perfect little girls! [Just inside the closed lab door; he opens it and starts in, descending more stairs.] Three perfect, normal little gi-- ahh!

[He loses his footing, and the boxes fly everywhere; close-up of him yelling in midair. There is a sudden flash of pink; cut to just above him. Blossom has caught him and is holding him above the stairs, while her sisters watch from farther down in midair.]

Blossom: [setting him down] Professor, you should be more careful when coming down the steps. You could get hurt.

[He just stands there, half-slumped over and too stunned to talk, as Bubbles and Buttercup fly over with several of the packages.]

Buttercup: Hey, are these for us?

[He nods weakly. Pause; all three zip away on the next lines.]

Buttercup: Yeah!

Bubbles: Yippee!

Blossom: Thanks, Professor!

[Sounds of the girls flying about and tearing wrapping paper are heard o.c.; he raises his hand as if to try to get their attention, then gives it up and drops to his knees. Cut to behind him and tilt up slowly. They are giggling and attacking the pile of presents with gusto. As he stares, still at a loss for words, the camera moves from the girls over to the mixing bowl and the broken flask that had held the Chemical X. A bit of residue drips out; back to the Professor, who looks o.c. to it, then toward the girls. The bewildered look finally gives way to a warm, bemused smile. Buttercup flies over with a pile of action toys: pogo stick, stuffed alligator, video game, and such.]

Buttercup: Hey, thanks! [She flies o.c.; next is Blossom, with books and a globe]

Blossom: Yes, Professor, thank you! [She flies o.c.; last is Bubbles, carrying a stuffed octopus—Octi.]

Bubbles: This is the best gift ever, Dad. (kisses him)

Professor Utonium: (smiles warmly) Yes it is.

(Just then the doorbell rang.)

Professor Utonium: Oh, I wonder who that could be. (answers the door)

Winnie the Pooh: Good evening, sir.

Professor Utonium: Good evening. Come on in, everyone.

Professor Utonium: (chuckles softly) I can see he does.

(Blossom hugs Pikachu, then Buttercup hugs him, and Bubbles shakes hands with him then in response he nuzzles the girls affectionately.)

(The girls see Togepi.)

Misty: This is Togepi.

Blossom: It’s so cute.

Bubbles: (giggles) It really likes us.

Buttercup: We like your Togepi, Misty.

Misty: Thanks, girls.

(The girls pet Togepi which pleased it.)

Togepi: (happily) Ge! Toge, toge.

Tigger: So, what kind of world did you girls come from?

Blossom: Oh, we don't come from any world.

Tigger: No?

Blossom: No, in fact the professor made us.

Ash Ketchum: (astonished) You're kidding.

Blossom: No, Ash, seriously we were created.

Ash Ketchum: Professor, how did you create the girls?

Professor Utonium: Simple, I've created with sugar, spice and everything nice.

Winnie the Pooh: Amazing.

Buttercup: In case you guys haven't noticed we actually have superpowers.

Ash Ketchum: Like Superman.

Blossom: Yeah, someone like us.

(The girls see Twilight's cutie mark)

Blossom: Twilight, what's that tattoo on your hind leg?

Twilight Sparkle: Huh? Oh, it's not a tattoo, it's a cutie mark. It shows all of our strengths like I'm the element of Magic. Pinkie Pie is Laughter. Fluttershy, Kindness. Rarity, Generosity. Applejack, Honesty. And Rainbow Dash, Loyalty.

Buttercup: Nice.

Bubbles: So, Ash, what's a Pokémon, anyway?

Ash Ketchum: Pokémon are creatures with all kinds of powers and abilities. Pokémon is short for Pocket monsters. Brock, Misty and I are Pokémon trainers, whenever we train Pokémon we often earn them then we kept them in our Poke Balls. I've won several badges from several Pokémon battles.

(Ash showed the girls his badges.)

Blossom: My goodness, Ash. You got a lot of badges.

Bubbles: Amazing.

Buttercup: Wow, Ash, you're quite the champ.

Ash Ketchum: I've had a lot of experience in training Pokémon.

Blossom: I bet you do, Ash.

Professor Utonium: Okay, now, girls, how about you go play with your new toys while I go talk to your new friends in private.

Girls: Okay! (fly off to play with their new toys)

Professor Utonium: (quietly) Now, guys, there's something you need to know about the girls. It's how they got their superpowers, and this is only between you and me. It'll be our little secret. So, don't tell anyone about this. Okay?

Heroes: Uh... (chatter in reluctant agreement)

Professor Utonium: Okay. Earlier today, I was preparing to come up with the most incredible invention ever. So, I went out to the Townsville supermarket and bought a few things. Some sugar and some spice. For the everything nice part, I just went to over to the dollar store and bought a few girlish things like flowers, toy unicorns, stars, little rainbows, and... well, you get the idea. Anyway, when I came back from my shopping, my laboratory monkey named Jojo went all crazy and started wrecking everything in sight. (our heroes gasps in fear) Oh, well, I didn't care about that. I completely ignored the little critter and I thought I'd deal with him later. But that's not important. Anyway, I soon began to add the essential ingredients to the perfect little girl formula: sugar, spice, and everything nice. Everything was going smoothly and thought that my invention was going to be perfect. But then, all of a sudden, I felt someone or something pushing me! (our heroes gasp again) And that caused me to smash into the large container holding a powerful substance called Chemical X which poured into my perfect girl formula, made it bubble over, and caused a dramatic explosion! (breathes heavily) When the smoke cleared, I woke up and there they were. Those three adorable little girls born with unbelievable superpowers. And I created them from an unexpected accident.

(Our heroes said nothing and then looked at each other in astonishment.)

Ash Ketchum: Whoa!!

Winnie the Pooh: That's amazing!

Brock: That's quite a story, Professor.

-

Misty: Though I kinda wonder. Where did you get that sort of substance, Chemical X, anyway?

-

(As the heroes continue their conversation with the professor while the girls continue playing with their new toys, the camera pans over to where Jojo is. With his brain sticking out of his skull, his eyes are now pink, and his skin is sickly green, he too has been affected by the Chemical X. He looks resentful as he looks on with deep hatred in his eyes, he then walks off into the darkness and the camera fades to black.)

Fun day at home[edit | edit source]

(The scene changes where the professor and the girls are painting the bedroom.)

Professor Utonium: Okay, girls, now watch me. (the girls paint their bedroom wall pink) (jokingly) I think you missed a spot. (paints himself)

(The girls and the heroes laugh in amusement as Marco rolls his eyes with a smug look)

Professor Utonium: I'll go wash up, then we'll bring in the furniture. (he washes up) Girls, wait. You should let us...help?

Tigger: Wow, would you look at that.

Misty: Wow, you girls fixed up your bedroom quickly.

Buttercup: Yep, and that was easy.

Ash Ketchum: Looks pretty good.

Timmy Turner: Yeah. So, girls, what do you think?

Bubbles: Well, Timmy, I think it's a little dark.

Buttercup: Well, I like it dark.

Rabbit; Aren't you girls forgetting something?

Blossom: Yeah, some windows might be nice.

Misty: I think that's a great idea.

Professor Utonium: Yeah, I can see some windows right about... here. I'll call the contractor tomor--

(The girls use their lasers circling the walls which made windows. The professor felt scorched from the blast.)

Winnie the Pooh: Are you quite all right, Professor?

Professor Utonium: Oh, yeah, I'm all right. That works too. Who's hungry?

Heroes: We are.

Pikachu: Pika.

(Then in the kitchen where the heroes sit at the table. Blossom holds out the bread while Bubbles and Buttercup hold out peanut butter and jelly.)

Blossom: Ready?

Bubbles and Buttercup: Ready!

Blossom: Go!

[She machine-guns slices of bread at her sisters, who in turn fire back with globs of peanut butter and jelly. When he closes the fridge and turns to face the camera, with an armload of milk and fruit, he throws himself back against the door to try and avoid the barrage. The components collide in midair and fall to the kitchen table to form a tall stack of PB&J sandwiches; the girls, sitting around the table, then strafe this with their eye lasers and the crusts fall off, neatly trimmed. They are a bit taken aback at the approach of the Professor, whose splattered face and clothes show that he was unable to get out of the line of fire. He smiles and sets down a tray with three glasses of milk and the carton. Cut to the exterior of the house as the laughter of all four makes itself heard from inside. It dies away after a moment, and the sky fades into evening while the house lights come on. Inside, he walks into the living room and wipes his hands on a towel. He has cleaned up and again taken off the coat and rolled up his sleeves.]

Professor: Okay girls, time for...

[Once again he stops short; this time, the reason is that all three of them have completely conked out. Blossom, on the floor, has books and notes piled around her; Buttercup is on the couch, with various action toys nearby and the TV remote in hand; Bubbles, also on the floor, has crayons and paper scattered about, and Octi is nearby as well. Close-up of Blossom, panning to each of the others in the order given, then back to the Professor]

Professor: ...bed.

[Cut to the bathroom, where he washes Blossom’s face, then to the bed, where he pulls Buttercup’s nightgown down over her arms. The last one seen is Bubbles, already in bed and with her clothes changed. He reaches down and tucks Octi under her arm; she smiles and snuggles with the doll. None of the girls looks anywhere close to being awake in this sequence. With all three in bed, he pulls up the blanket to cover them—this is the first time we can see the headboard, which has its trademark pink heart but no PPG initials as in the series. Cut to the bedroom door; now looking tenderly in from outside, he switches off the lights and pulls it shut behind him as the scene fades to black. Snap to the living room, the camera angled up to frame the second-story balcony. The Professor walks away from the door and down the stairs. As he sets to the job of tidying up the clutter left by the girls, he picks up one of Bubbles’ drawings and looks at it. His expression melts into one of gentle affection; after a moment, cut to a close-up of the drawing, a rough, scribbly crayon rendition of all four. Fade to black.]

First day of school[edit | edit source]

(The next morning where the heroes and the professor comes in the girls' bedroom with their dresses.)

Professor Utonium: Wake up, girls. Time for school.

Girls: What's school?

(The scene changes to Pokey Oak Kindergarten where the girls are introduced to the school teacher Ms. Keane.)

Ms. Keane: This is school. I'm your teacher, Ms. Keane. And this is where kids come to learn. See?

Boy: Hey, you want to play?

Rabbit: Don't be shy, girls.

Ash Ketchum: Go for it, girls.

Misty: Yeah, have fun.

(Ms. Keane nods her head and the girls laugh as they run to the other children to play with him. The heroes smile proudly as the girls play with the children while Professor on the other hand felt worried. Lincoln gives a thumbs-up to the girls)

Professor Utonium: Uh, do you think they'll be okay? Because I'm new at this parenting thing and I wanted to come and meet you and see them off their first day because they're really special. I mean really special and I just wanted to make sure they'll be okay. So, what do you think? Do you think they'll be... okay?

Winnie the Pooh: Oh, there's no need to worry, Professor.

Piglet: Yes, they'll do wonderful on their first day.

Rabbit: They're starting to know the other children.

Tigger: Yeah, they're having fun now.

Ms. Keane: Your friends are right. They'll be just fine Professor, we'll see you at noon.

Brock: I guess it's time for us to go now.

Ms. Keane: (nods) Mmm-hmm.

Winnie the Pooh: Goodbye, girls. We'll see you after school.

Professor Utonium: Okay, bye, girls, bye.

Ash Ketchum: Come on, Professor. It's time for us to go now.

Misty: Yeah, we'll see them later.

Professor Utonium: Bye. (Ash and Misty gently grab his arms) Bye-bye. Bye. Bye.

(Ms. Keane closed the door.)

Ms. Keane: Okay, class. Take your seats.

Girl: Ms. Keane, can Blossom sit with us?

Girl 2: Can we sit with Bubbles?

Mitch: Can Buttercup sit over here?

Ms. Keane: The girls can sit right here in the middle. So, they can be next to everyone. (class cheers happily) Now, let's begin.

(Later that day at noon knocking is heard.)

Ms. Keane: Hello, Professor, right on time.

Pull back across the room as both adults cross to the back door. The place is littered with toys, crayons, paints, and other kindergarten diversions.]

Ms. Keane: Your girls are right outside with the other children.

Professor: Oh no! Look at this mess! Ohh, I knew the girls would be a handful, but I'm so sorry.

Ms. Keane: What, this? [sighing patiently] This is what happens when you put twenty little kids in one room. [Cut to just outside the back door; they step out.] Your girls were perfect. Perfect, normal, well-behaved little girls. [He is a bit surprised at this.]

Professor: Nothing out of the ordinary?

Ms. Keane: No, like what?

On the playground, the girls are gathered around a hopscotch layout. It is Bubbles’ turn to play; she tosses a stone onto a square and jumps to it. Blossom seems to like the game, but Buttercup scowls at it. Another girl watches from the far end of the layout.]

Blossom: That was sweet!

Buttercup: What's the point of this game anyway?

Mitch: [running up, tagging girl, running o.c.] Tag! You're it!

[She laughs and runs o.c. as other kids nearby run from her. In an overhead shot, we wee them scattering everywhere for a game of tag. The girls are momentarily at a loss.]

Blossom: Whoa! Everyone's running from that girl! It's like she's been infected!

Buttercup: Maybe she's a freak.

Bubbles: Yeah, and they hate her!

[The girl who was pulling Bubbles toward her own desk now runs up and tags her.]

Girl 2: Tag, you're it!

Bubbles: Oh no! I've been infected!

Mitch: [walking to them] All right, what's going on here?

Bubbles: I've been infected. [Mitch claps a hand to his face.]

Mitch: You're not in-fec-ted, it's just a game!

Bubbles: It is?

Mitch: Yeah!

Blossom: A game; neat!

Buttercup: Yeah, how do we play?

Mitch: [groans] Okay, look: it's very simple. [crossing to Bubbles, holding out one hand] Bubbles, tag me. [She does not move.] Come on, it's okay.

[After a moment, she cautiously reaches out and touches his hand, yanking her own back immediately after doing so]

Mitch: [crossing to Buttercup] All right, now I'm it. And all you gots to do to play...[tagging her]...is tag someone else and they're it! [He runs o.c.; she realizes what he has done, and he returns] By the way, you're it! [He runs o.c. again.]

Buttercup: Awesome, I'm it! What do I do, what do I do, what do I do?! [Cut to Mitch, running across the playground.]

Mitch: [voice fading] Just tag someone else... [Back to the girls; he continues o.c.] ...and they're it!

[Buttercup throws a wicked glance back at her sisters, who look at each other and then smile nervously back at her. They start to run, giggling as they go, and she gives chase. After a few moments, Blossom looks back to see where she is and does not like the result.]

Blossom: Time to put it into overdrive, Bubbles!

[They begin to run faster, but Buttercup speeds up as well. This pattern repeats itself twice more, but on the last time, green sparks start to fly from behind the pursuer, merging into a solid trail, and she streaks across the playground to leave a ribbon of burning asphalt behind her. Blossom and Bubbles keep running like sixty; Buttercup finally catches up and gives Bubbles a hearty shove that sends her skidding across the playground; she cuts a furrow as she goes, and the camera tracks her away from Buttercup on the next line.]

Buttercup: Tag! Yooooooouuuuuu're IT!

[Bubbles crashes into the school wall, just missing Ms. Keane, the Professor, and the other kids. Her impact leaves a huge hole in the windows and masonry. Everyone stares in disbelief for a silent moment, which ends abruptly when she crashes out through the roof, does a quick ascent, and then dives on her sisters. Camera follows her.]

Bubbles: I'm gonna tag you guys now!

[Back to ground level; the two girls find themselves in her growing shadow, but back out of the way an instant before she hits the ground. Their retreat takes them through the chain-link fence that encloses the playground. When the dust clears, there is a large crater where they were standing; Bubbles slowly pokes her head out.]

Buttercup: Haha! You missed us!

[Overhead view of the three: Bubbles in her crater, the others in the street. She charges at them, but they dodge and she slams into a house behind them. Head-on view of the wrecked structure, pulling back to the playground so that the Townsville skyline is visible in the distance. We hear the girls thoroughly enjoying this new game—as trees, cars, and even an unsuspecting cow go flying. Smoke and fire start to billow from distant points as car alarms are set off by the impacts. Pan slowly away from this scene to the stunned kids; stop at Ms. Keane and the Professor and zoom in. While she too watches in total puzzlement, he gives her a cheerful grin and bails out. Cut to just behind his car—license plate: “PRFDADY”—as he speeds toward the city proper, then to a view of the skyline itself. All is peaceful for a moment until the camera pulls back a bit to reveal it as part of a billboard. Across the top are the words “YOU ARE NOW LEAVING.” Bubbles and Buttercup fly into view over it and race along.]

[

Winnie the Pooh: Now, where are those girls going?

Tigger: I don't know, I think they're playing tag.

Professor Utonium: Guys, you're gonna have to come with me.

Ash Ketchum: Sorry, Ms. Keane, we got to go.

Playing tag/Professor talks to the girls[edit | edit source]

Bubbles: Whee!

[Buttercup laughs along with her; after their voices have faded, the camera pulls back some more and we can read the entire message: “YOU ARE NOW LEAVING THE CITY OF TOWNSVILLE.” Laughing, Blossom smashes through the center of the billboard and charges after the others toward the city. The Professor chases all three of them.]

Professor: Girls, no! Wait!

Ash Ketchum: Stop playing around Girls! The fun’s over!

Pikachu: Pika! Pika!

[Now the game of tag moves into the heart of the city, with Bubbles and Buttercup cutting one maneuver after another and Blossom keeping the heat on. Cars and debris go flying in their wake, and the shock waves of their passage break more than a few windows. A red rubber ball starts to bounce down the street after them. Continuing her pursuit, Blossom suddenly gasps in surprise, drops to the ground, and slams on the brakes. She cuts a long gash in the pavement, going through an intersection and finally coming to a stop in front of two startled people on the sidewalk. She cocks her head and cups a hand to her ear; we can hear Bubbles and Buttercup laughing and see the sound waves reaching her—her high-powered hearing at work.]

Bubbles: [from o.c., at great distance] Can’t catch me!

[After a moment’s indecision, Blossom zips off down the street. The two onlookers stare a bit longer, then suddenly scream and run o.c.—just before a car slides into view and strikes the building they were standing next to. The impact is seen three times, from a head-on, overhead, and pulled-back view; after this last, the Professor skids into view and stops.]

[Note: During the previous sequence, we see that the building hit by the car is number 801—corresponding to the movie’s PPG-801 production code.]

Professor: Oh no! [The red ball bounces off his car and away.]

[Now Blossom races down a street and cuts impossibly tight turns that would make an F-16 pilot black out from the G-forces involved. As she goes, the strip of pavement behind her starts to crack and glow, finally exploding into dust to mark her passage. Buttercup flies along, turning into a side street just as Blossom passes her; a screech of heels on asphalt, and the redhead swings back into view and corrects her mistake to get after the brunette again. They rocket through yet more hairpin turns, after which the camera cuts to inside a vehicle driven by two stoner types, one skinny with blond hair, the other short and fat with dark curly hair. The chase flashes across just in front of them; they scream and lose control. On the street, the vehicle—a van—plows into a record shop. Blossom dashes along, swerving to miss several cars, and looks back with satisfaction at her maneuvering. When she looks ahead again, though, she gasps in shock. Overhead view of a stretch of traffic-jammed street; she weaves through several, then climbs a few floors up one of the buildings and starts to run along their fronts. The trail of damage continues. Head-on view of her racing along in this fashion; the camera is rotated 90 degrees from its usual orientation. Cut to Bubbles, flying along at ground level.]

Bubbles: Whee! [Back to Blossom; the blue streak of her sister passes her.]

Blossom: Huh?

[The camera now rights itself, and she drops to ground level and stops at a street corner. The light is red; when it goes green, she is off again, crossing the intersection and hurtling back the way she came. Bubbles pulls ahead, with Blossom trying to keep up. The latter stops in the middle of another intersection and looks around herself, finally smiling and charging in a new direction. Her perspective of a few blocks’ run, then cut to yet another intersection, where she stops and looks around again. This time, she ends by turning her gaze upward and letting out a happy little gasp. Zoom in on her as her pupils contract. Her perspective: she is looking up at a large mirrored globe that sits atop one of the buildings. Its surface reflects the rest of the city and shows Bubbles’ and Buttercup’s light trails. The view zooms in on a certain area three times, ending with a greatly magnified shot of the entrance to a subway station and Bubbles zipping into it. We have just witnessed Blossom’s magnified vision at work. Back to her, the pupils dilating again.]

Blossom: Subway, huh?

[(Quick pan to a nearby station entrance: “SUBWAY EAST.” She flies down and into the underground tunnel. Back to Bubbles, who is still zipping merrily along.]

Bubbles: [giggling] Whee!

[Blossom charges down the track, cutting a corkscrew path into the tunnel walls, and emerges at the “SUBWAY WEST” entrance to stop dead. Bubbles again, her face going slack with shock.]

Bubbles: No! [She skids to a halt just in front of Blossom.]

Blossom: [tagging her, floating away] Tag! You're it!

[She blows a raspberry toward ground level as she goes, while Buttercup watches from higher up. Bubbles stands silently—first dejected, then angry and determined—before blasting straight up into the air. Her liftoff makes a fresh crater and sends pieces of the pavement flying everywhere; one of them takes out a store window just before the Professor drives by it.]

Professor: [gasping] There they are ... !

[He gets no further, as he drives into Bubbles’ crater and goes airborne off its lip. The car lands neatly on all four tires and does not suffer any visible damage from doing so—and the red ball once again bounces into view and off the vehicle. Long shot of the mirrored globe. Blossom and Buttercup stop near it]

Blossom: Watch out, here she comes!

[They zip away. Chasing after them, Bubbles hits the globe and ricochets off it. As her sisters’ laughter echoes in the air, the structure overbalances from the force of her impact and tumbles free of its moorings. As people in the streets scream in abject terror, it crashes down and starts to roll, cutting its own groove and damaging every building it bounces off. The chase continues, with Blossom and Buttercup in the air and Bubbles leaping between rooftops and the ground. Now the globe rolls down another street as the three charge past. Bubbles does a quick dive and hits the pavement hard enough to make it ripple like a tidal wave. Cars are thrown everywhere as the three reach a corner and go in different directions. Buttercup pokes her head out from around a building and, seeing her sisters worried mainly about one another, chuckles to herself. The tidal wave rolls down another street, sending more cars flying, and she watches the other action from the middle of the street.]

Buttercup: Hah, suckers!

[The wave reaches her and catapults her into the air; she passes a car on the way up. Bubbles flies up as she comes to rest.]

Bubbles: [tagging her] Tag, you're it!

[Cut to inside an upper-story apartment that looks like an art-deco love nest. A loverboy and a woman are sitting on a long couch in the corner, with their backs to the expansive windows. She does not seem particularly susceptible to his approach—and neither of them notices that the car which Buttercup passed is now on its way toward those windows.]

Loverboy: [French accent] You know, I've got a nice car.

[Cut to the Professor, who is now motoring slowly through a ravaged street. A crash of glass is heard o.c., and he looks up as shards fall all around him. His perspective: the airborne car has crashed into the apartment’s windows. Back to him; as glass sprinkles his hood and windshield, he looks up in a new direction.]

Professor: Huh?

[Long shot of the girls together in midair; they are giggling. This leads into a short dispute over who is now it, which ends with Blossom and Bubbles zipping away and Buttercup looking angrily after them—she is the loser.]

Buttercup: Hey! [She gives chase.]

[Her sisters rocket toward a building and split up to detour around it; she flies over and stops, trying to figure out what to do next. After looking back and forth for a clue, she screams in frustration and simply crashes straight through the building and two others behind it. Cut to the others, now perched on the roof of a tower that looks very much like the Space Needle in Seattle.]

Blossom: She'll never find us up here! [Quick shot of Buttercup crashing through more buildings, then the two again.] Do you hear something?

[Buttercup hits the sign atop a gas company’s office building; there is a huge explosion, from which she emerges to bull-charge the camera.]

Blossom, Bubbles: Whoa! Run!

[They try to do so, but the tower simply rotates in the opposite direction, leaving them running in place. Buttercup easily catches up to them now]

Buttercup: [tagging both] Tag, you're both it!

Blossom: Hey! We can't both be it!

Buttercup: Why not?

Bubbles: [tagging Blossom] Tag!

Blossom: What?! I can't be it twice!

Bubbles: Why not?

Blossom: Okay then, tag! [tagging Bubbles and Buttercup] Now you guys are it!

Buttercup: [tagging Bubbles] Tag!

Bubbles: [tagging Blossom and Buttercup] Tags!

Buttercup: Hey, no tag backs! [tagging Blossom] Tag!

Blossom: [tagging Bubbles] Tag!

[All three begin to fly in a tight circle, tagging one another and saying, “Tag! Tag! Tag!” repeatedly. Back to ground level; the Professor speeds around a corner into view and hits the brakes, gasping at the view that greets him. His perspective: he is looking straight through the holes in the buildings Buttercup plowed into, with the burning gas sign and the rotating tower visible beyond them. Even at this distance, we can hear the girls. Back to their level; the argument, now back on the topic of who is it, gives way to another chase, the girls in the air and the Professor on wheels. Cut to a long shot of the tower and pull back as the girls fly all around the city, their light trails making patterns of all sorts—including Bubbles’ name, which she traces in lowercase cursive to the sound of all three laughing. The camera continues to pull back through a window and into the Mayor’s office. He stands and looks out at the destruction the girls have inadvertently caused.]

Mayor: Oh, boy. [Just outside the office doors; he opens them and steps into the hall.] Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Oh, boy.

[Outside, the girls race happily through the city as the Professor lays rubber to keep up. Cut to another corridor of Townsville Hall; the Mayor walks along it.]

Mayor: Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Oh, boy.

[The girls again. Now the Professor has to dodge wrecked cars and craters as he drives. Cut to a set of doors at the top of a staircase inside Townsville Hall; these are thrown open by the Mayor, who then descends the steps.]

Mayor: Oh boy. [Ms. Bellum catches up to him, clipboard in hand.]

Ms. Bellum: Oh, boy, is right, Mayor. It's terrible, the town is being destroyed by three girls with freakish powers. This is a very serious situation. What action do you propose we take?

[The girls. The Professor. A long shot of the staircase—this is a third corridor in Townsville Hall—with the Mayor and Ms. Bellum at the bottom of it and walking toward the camera. Aides scurry everywhere; two of them walk along with the pair and thrust papers into Ms. Bellum’s face, hiding it from view.]

Ms. Bellum: Don't worry, gentlemen, the Mayor and I have the situation under control.

Mayor: Oh, boy.

Ms. Bellum: I know, sir.

[The girls. The Professor. The front doors of Townsville Hall; these burst open and the crowd pours out.]

Mayor: Oh, boy.

Ms. Bellum: You tell ’em, Mayor! Townsville will not stand for this kind of behavior!

[The girls. The Professor, closing in on Townsville Hall; he sees them fly toward it and lets out a surprised grunt. The building’s front colonnade, with the crowd passing behind it.]

Ms. Bellum: Uh, Mayor? Hello? City being destroyed? Where are you going?

Mayor: Oh, boy!

[The girls. The Professor. The crowd. On the end of the next line, they approach a cart labeled “CUCOR’S PICKLES,” with someone hunched down behind it.]

Ms. Bellum: Mayor, what are you doing? We're in a serious pickle.

Mayor: Exactly! [This brings everyone up short.]

[The girls, closing in on the seat of government with the Professor not far behind. Back to him.]

Professor: Girls, no!

[The pickle cart.]

Mayor: [clearing throat] Hello.

[The figure behind the cart straightens up. It is a short fellow who looks very much like the Mayor. Differences: black hair and mustache rather than white; a single thick eyebrow that goes over both eyes; no monocle; white paper cap instead of top hat—it too floats just above his head; nose wrinkled and warty like a pickle. This is Cucor, who speaks with a thick Italian accent but otherwise sounds quite a bit like the Mayor.]

Cucor: Hello.

Mayor: The usual, Cucor.

[The girls, then the pickle cart.]

Cucor: [kissing fingertips, fishing around] Ahh, yes. I have a fine vintage for you here. Picked fresh today.

[Close-up of a fat green pickle as it is held up in a set of tongs; juice drips from all its crevices.]

Mayor: [from o.c., happily] Oh, boy!

[Alternate between shots of the girls and the Mayor, with the pickle now in hand and slowly bringing it to his mouth; each successive shot is zoomed in closer on its subject. The final shot is of the crowd near Cucor’s cart. Just before the little man can enjoy his treat, the girls slam head-on into it. The scene is lost beneath a flash of light and a huge cloud of dust. When the view clears, the cart is in ruins, the pickle jars smashed and their contents scattered about. Cucor and the Mayor lie unconscious in the wreckage, while Ms. Bellum and the aides are in a heap off to one side. The girls have taken out the pickle cart and put a hole through Townsville Hall’s front wall to boot. However, they take no notice, laughing and talking excitedly about their game. Car tires screech o.c., a door slams, and the Professor and hero’s runs up.]

Lori Loud: Girls, are you okay?

Girls: Tag! You're it, Lori!

Winnie the Pooh: Oh, bother.

(As the girls continue laughing the heroes and the professor are wary about what happened to Townsville knowing that all of the citizens will be angry for all of the destruction that the girls caused. The camera pans away from Townsville Hall as it shows the wrecked city. The scene changes to later that night where the girls giggle and fly around happily. Professor and the heroes come in.)

Professor Utonium: Okay, girls. Girls, it's almost bedtime, okay? Girls.

Rabbit: Professor's right, girls. It's getting late.

Blossom: Come on, guys. You're it! Gotta catch us!

Professor: Yes, I suppose I do, don't I?

(The professor comes upstairs with the heroes. Genie catches Bubbles which causes her to squeal)

Genie: (laughs) I gotcha right there, you little bunny!

(Twilight stops Buttercup with her magic)

Twilight Sparkle: Gotcha!

Buttercup: Help, I've been caught! Blossom, watch out!

Bubbles: You're the sole survivor!

Blossom: No way, guys! Can't catch me!

Rabbit: (sternly) Oh, yes we can, Blossom, Because the game's over.

Professor Utonium: Rabbit's right and it's your bedtime. Now come up here so we can catch you.

(Blossom reluctantly does so. Then Peck catches Blossom in a net and the girls laugh)

Peck: Gotcha!

Winnie the Pooh: So did you girls have a fun first day at school, today?

Bubbles: Yeah, Pooh Bear, it was fun. We've met lots of kids.

Blossom: And, we learned things.

Buttercup: And, we played tag.

Professor Utonium: Mmm-hmm, well I'm glad you had so much fun, because tomorrow will be another busy day too. So, let's get your nighties on into bed.

(Then we cut to Professor tucking the girls in bed.)

Professor Utonium: Okay, everybody in?

Rabbit: You girls listening?

Buttercup: Yep, what's up, Daddy'O and Rabbit?

Professor Utonium: Well, it's your superpowers.

Rabbit: It's all about self-control.

Professor Utonium: Yes, that's it. (sighs) I'm not sure how to say this. But, I don't think you should use them in public anymore.

Girls: Why?

Professor Utonium: Well, your powers are very special and unique. And, although we have a lot of fun doing a lot of unique things around the house out in Townsville. People don't really understand how special and unique you are girls are yet. And, unfortunately people often get scared or angry when they don't understand something special or unique.

Blossom: That's silly.

Professor Utonium: Well, I think so too. But, none the less take it easy with the powers tomorrow. Just give a little time to understand your specialness, okay?

Rabbit: Yes, girls, whatever you do keep control of your powers, all right?

Bubbles: Okay, Rabbit.

Blossom: Okay.

Buttercup: Yeah, yeah.

Blossom: But, people here are nice. Things will be fine.

Timmy Turner: Yeah, and besides, what could possibly go wrong?

(The scene changes where the newspaper's front line says "Freaky weirdo bug eyed girls broke everything." and Jojo takes the paper and reads it.)

Jojo: Hmm. (He laughs evilly as the camera fades away from him.)

Bad second day at school/Professor Utonium gets arrested[edit | edit source]

(The scene changes where the girls and the professor are outside of school.)

Professor Utonium: So, I'll be waiting here to pick you up when school gets out, okay?

Blossom: Okay, but, don't worry, Professor. Things are gonna be fine.

[They approach the door of Pokey Oaks Kindergarten, the sound of the Professor’s car fading out as he drives off. The door opens to reveal that the classroom is still as they left it the day before: a disaster area. Construction workers are on a scaffolding by the holes in the ceiling and back wall, all the overhead lights are broken, and water gushes from a damaged sink and runs through a deep gash in the floor. Other furnishings have also been damaged—cabinets, American flag, and so on. Ms. Keane, at the front of the room, looks toward the door with no small amount of surprise; the other kids glare in unbridled hostility. She raises her voice in order to make herself heard over the workers’ noise.]

Ms. Keane: [loudly] OH, GIRLS, WE DIDN'T KNOW IF YOU'D BE JOINING US TODAY! [Cut to the girls, the door slamming behind them; she continues o.c.] TAKE YOUR SEATS.

[Cut to their desk in the center of the room; as they look uneasily around themselves, the other kids push their desks toward the walls to get away from them. The girls are hurt by this. Back to the front of the room, panning along its length as she speaks; there is now a plumber at the sink.]

Ms. Keane: I'M SORRY TO SAY THERE WON'T BE ANY RECESS FOR A WHILE DUE TO ALL THE RECONSTRUCTION!

[As she continues, cut to one desk and tilt up to a broken light, then cut to the sink—which now has a plumber working on it.]

Ms. Keane: [from o.c.] SECONDLY, I'M AFRAID WE WON'T HAVE ANY LIGHTS OR WATER FOR A WHILE! [Cut to a smashed fridge in the back corner; Harry looks sadly back at it.] AND A BROKEN REFRIGERATOR MEANS SNACK TIME IS OUT! [Cut to Mitch and his deskmates; they cover their ears as work goes on just behind them.] SO LET'S TRY TO IGNORE ALL THE WORKMEN AND NOISE AND SUCH... [Back to Ms. Keane.] ...AND GET RIGHT TO WORK, SHALL WE? GIRLS, CAN YOU RECITE THE ALPHABET FOR US?

[Buttercup forces a sheepish little grin, which is more than either of her sisters can do at this point. All around them are multitudes of kids who look as if they would be quite happy to tar and feather them and run them out of town on a rail. During the next line, cut back to the girls and tilt up to Ms. Keane.]

Ms. Keane: GIRLS? ABC'S?

Girls: [in unison] A, B, C, D… [A board falls into view and breaks over their heads.] ...E!

[They look up toward the ceiling as Buttercup rubs her head, and the camera follows their gaze on the next line. Above them, visible through the ceiling hole, are two construction workers. One is sawing a board, while the other holds another steady. This latter is the speaker.]

Construction Worker: Hey, Carl, dang it! You done darn broke my board. Flam dangling consardners! [Back to the girls.]

Girls: [in unison] F…

[Fade to black.]

Opening shot: another close-up of the open Tribune. The hands holding it indicate that this is not Jojo’s copy; pull back to show it as the Professor’s. He is reading it while lounging in his study at home. A beeping noise draws his attention and he looks at the source, his watch.]

Professor: Oh, almost time to pick up the girls. [Cut to the living room; he walks across to the front door.] Better motor.

[Outside on the stoop, he closes the door and locks it. Camera turns around to point down the front walk toward the street. The Mayor, two beefy policemen, a group of aides, and an angry, sign-carrying mob are waiting for him]

Mayor: That's him, boys! [Cut to just between the cops; the Professor backs up in surprise as he continues o.c.] He's in cahoots with the evil pickle cop killers! [Back to him.] Cucumber crushers, vinegar violates. Dil-stroyers! Why, it's just not kosher! It’s in...

Ms. Bellum: [stepping into view] Let it go, Mayor. Let it go.

[Cut to her; she holds up a WANTED poster from the Sheriff's Department that depicts a rough drawing of the family and accuses them of mass destruction. The picture is marked as an “Artist’s Interpretation” and is closer to the mark than Bubbles’ crayon sketch.]

Ms. Bellum: Are these your babies?

Professor: [from o.c.] Why, yes. [Cut to him.] But they were just playing. They're really very good little girls. And I need to pick them up from school.

Ms. Bellum: I understand, sir. [The cops move in on him.] But we really would like for you to come downtown with us so we can ask you a few questions.

[He is escorted down the front walk, the cops cuffing his hands behind his back as they go.]

Professor: [grunting in discomfort] You guys, my kids. I really oughta pick ‘em up.

[He is tossed into a waiting squad car and grunts when he lands on the seat. After the door is closed, he pokes his head up into the window.]

Professor: [through glass] I can't just leave them there...

[Cut to the exterior of Pokey Oaks Kindergarten. There are no kids in sight save the girls, who are on the front lawn.]

Professor: [voice over] ...alone.

[In a series of three dissolves, the sky darkens to evening and finally night while they remain where they are. Several seconds after the last transition, Buttercup finally breaks the long silence.]

Buttercup: He's not coming. He hates us. He totally hates us! [Bubbles starts crying.]

Blossom: [thinking fast] No, he probably just got held up or maybe the car broke o-or maybe he just forgot or...[giving it up; Bubbles quiets down] ...maybe he hates us. Come on. Let’s try and find our way home.

[Bubbles and Buttercup float up o.c., but Blossom stays put. Pause]

Blossom: We're not supposed to use our powers. [They float back down; all three join hands in a row.] Come on, girls.

[They start off down the sidewalk, and the camera pulls back to show just how far away from the city proper they really are. Fade to black.]

Snap to a TV screen on which an anchorman is delivering a news bulletin. Around him are video screens and clocks, and stock prices scroll across the bottom—this is a channel such as CNN, and an onscreen logo identifies it as CTN.]

[Note: Though partially cropped out on the DVD, the time displayed on screen is 8:01 p.m.—yet another reference to PPG-801.]

Anchorman: The cause? Three super-powered little girls.

[Quick pan to another screen displaying a talk show: Incorrect Politics. The guests: a spike-haired punk who looks rather like 2-D, a member of the animated group Gorillaz; an irritated-looking, thin white woman, a snobbish man, and a fat black woman. The host wears a bad suit and a brush cut]

IP Host: Should the manufacturing of super-powered children be illegal?

[Pan to another screen showing the Mayor at his desk.]

Mayor: [solemnly] A great travesty has befallen our beloved city.

[Pan to another screen, which shows the record shop where the stoners’ van crashed—it is still stuck in the window. A reporter holds a microphone toward them as protesters mill in the background. A news station’s logo—channel 5, KTTVL—is in the bottom corner.]

Blond stoner: I was reaching down between my legs to ease the seat back when this atomic boat flies in with no fair warning.

[Now the camera moves from screen to screen. IP = Incorrect Politics.]

CTN anchor: The devastation? Devastating.

Old Woman: Of course it should be illegal.

Mayor: Used to be a time when you could buy an honest pickle.

Tall Driver: And they were causing an eruption and lighting up the sky.

CTN anchor: Estimated dollars in damages? A whopping 25 million.

Rocker: I'm offended just lookin‘ at 'em.

[Back to the mayor]

Mayor: [holding up photos of chalk outlines of cart and pickles] The kind that you can only find at a pickle cart!

Tall Driver: Now Jamie's crying. [a reference to Van Halen lyrics.]

KTTVL reporter: Well, it seems that...

CTN anchor: ...the hatred is running rampant for...

Jamaican Woman: ...those mutant, bug-eyed...

Mayor: ...PICKLE-CART KILLIN’...

KTTVL reporter: [as the blond stoner consoles his friend]...freaks. Back to you, Linda.

[Note: The figure quoted by the CTN anchor is actually the movie’s budget.]

[Cut to the KTTVL newsroom; two anchors, one male, one female—Linda—are delivering the broadcast.]

Linda: They are little freaks, aren't they? With more on this subject is...

[Pull back from the collection of screens to show it as part of a display in the window of a TV shop. The girls stand before the lot and watch; cut to a slow pan across them, from Bubbles to Blossom to Buttercup. The disbelief and hurt on their faces are clear enough to be read a mile away Their heads hanging, they shuffle o.c. down the street. Several seconds after they have departed, static flickers across all the screens and gives way to a news flash graphic that looks very much like the one used on Sesame Street. During the following, the camera zooms in slowly on the large TV in the center of the window]

Anchor Lady: We interrupt this program for an important news flash. [A mug shot of a very haggard Professor appears on every screen.] Arrested today in connection with the tag incident was the mad scientist responsible for creating the destructive girls, Professor Utonium. [The report cuts to him in a jail cell; still handcuffed; the door slams shut and he runs to it.] Upon incarceration, the Professor had this statement to make.

Professor Utonium: (pleadingly) Please, just let me go. My girls they need me. They don't know I'm in jail. What if they tried to go home themselves? They can't find their way if they don't fly. Please, they're only little girls who are probably cold, scared and maybe even...lost.

(Meanwhile Pooh Bear and his friends look for the girls all over the city.)

Winnie the Pooh: (sighs) No sign of the three little girls.

Piglet: Those poor little girls might be scared.

Rabbit: Yes, they're somewhere in this big city and they could be in serious trouble unless we find them.

Ash Ketchum: See anything, Pikachu?

Pikachu: (shaking head) Pikachu.

Misty: We looked everywhere.

Brock: Poor Professor is in jail.

Twilight Sparkle: These poor girls should be around here somewhere.

Star Butterfly: They're gonna die out here.

Leni Loud: What are we gonna do?

Ash Ketchum: I have an idea. Pidgeot, I choose you!

(Pidgeot materializes)

Ash Ketchum: Pidgeot, we need your help! Can you help us find these girls?

Meeting Jojo/Creating the lab[edit | edit source]

Jojo: Go away, please, do not look at me.

Blossom: But, we just wanted to thank you for saving us from those green gangsters back there.

Buttercup: Yeah, that was amazing with the trash can lid! It was all Thoosh! Bang! Splash! Bam! Boom!

Bubbles: Yeah, you rock.

Jojo: No, please, I dare not listen. For I have been lashed by harsh tongues for too long. Alas, my little ones, I do not rock. For, I, Jojo, am a monster.

Blossom: You're not a monster. Monsters are evil.

Buttercup: Yeah, and anybody who would save us like you is so not evil.

Bubbles: You're no monster, mister. You're just really dirty.

Jojo: Please, you're just trying to make me feel better. But my pain is not for you to understand. Besides, how could you? For you are pure and innocent, and most certainly loved. How could you know what it is to be cast out into a world that only offers misery? How could you know what it's like for people to fear and despise you for the very things that make you special? Because you don't fit in! Because you are a freak?

Blossom: Because... we're freaks too.

Jojo: What amazing powers!

Blossom: No, they're terrible!

Jojo: I'll bet everyone hates them.

Buttercup: Yeah!

Jojo: And, they hate you, too?

Bubbles: (about to cry) Yes.

Jojo: (tears running from his eyes) I am in the same boat. This brain is full of brilliant ideas. But will anyone listen? No, nothing in this gray matters, so what's the point?

(Jojo walks back into his box sadly.)

Bubbles: Oh, Jojo, don't be sad. Our dad says that sometimes people get angry when they don't understand something special or unique.

Blossom: And, if you just give people time. They'll start to understand your specialness.

Buttercup: Yeah, you just gotta believe in yourself.

(Jojo smiled and popped out.)

Jojo: You mean if I take the time to construct my in-genius plan to help make a better place machine that people will come to understand my specialness?

Buttercup: Uh...

(Just then Pooh Bear and his friends arrive.)

Blossom: Pooh Bear? Rabbit? Brock? Eeyore? Otis? Pip? Timmy? Cosmo? Wanda? Lincoln? Melman? Gloria? Private? Star? Marco? Pinkie Pie? Rarity? Patrick? Squidward? Mr. Krabs? Aladdin? Iago? Genie? Jasmine? Abu? Alex? Marty? Kronk?

Bubbles: Piglet? Misty? Tigger? Abby? Peck? Freddy? Pig? Lori? Leni? Luan? Lana? Lola? Lily? Lisa? Twilight? SpongeBob? Simba? Timon? Pumbaa? Nala? Zazu? Fluttershy? Spike? Mickey? Donald? Goofy? Sora? Private? Patrick? Mr. Krabs? Sandy?

Buttercup: Ash! Pikachu! Rainbow Dash! Skipper! Kowalski! Rico! Luna!

(The girls hug the heroes.)

Winnie the Pooh: Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup!

Star Butterfly: There you guys are! You're OK!

Kronk: We were so worried! Don't you ever run away from us again, young ladies! (sighs) But we're so glad you're safe.

Buttercup: What are you guys doing out there?

Tigger: We've been looking everywhere for you.

Bubbles: You have?

Rabbit: Yes, we heard about what happened to the professor. He's been sent to jail.

Buttercup: What?! The professor is in jail?!

Blossom: So, that's why the professor couldn't pick us up from school.

Misty: Yeah, we were in the city and we're really sorry for what happened to you girls.

Bubbles: You guys really do care.

Brock: Of course we care about you, girls. We're your friends.

Rabbit: We don't care what those citizens say about you and your powers.

Buttercup: You know what, guys?

Marty: What?

Buttercup: We thought the professor hated us just like everybody else since he couldn't pick us up.

Rabbit: The professor hated you?

Buttercup: Uh-huh.

Tigger: (mutters gibberish and gasps) What?! That's ridickerous.

Rabbit: What nonsense. The professor is deeply worried about you girls since he went to jail this afternoon.

Buttercup: Gee, I guess I was wrong.

Ash Ketchum: Hmm? (notices Jojo with the girls) Hey, girls, who's your friend?

Blossom: That's Jojo.

Buttercup: He just saved us from the green gangsters.

Ash Ketchum: (suspiciously) Okay.

Marco Diaz: Awkward.

Jojo: Hmm, well, well, who do we have here?

Blossom: That's Winnie the Pooh, Pooh for short, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore...

Eeyore: Thanks for noticing.

Blossom: ...Rabbit, Ash Ketchum, Pikachu, Brock, Misty, Togepi, Star Butterfly, Marco Diaz, Alex, Marty, Melman, Gloria, Otis, Abby, Pig, Pip...

Pip: 'Sup?

Blossom: ...Peck...

Peck: Hi there!

Blossom: ...Freddy...

(Freddy waves)

Blossom: ...Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Spike, Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, Private, Timmy Turner, Cosmo & Wanda, Lincoln, Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa and Lily Loud, SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, Squidward Tentacles, Eugene Krabs, Simba, Nala, Zazu, Kronk, Timon, Pumbaa, Aladdin, Jasmine, Iago, Genie, Abu, Sora, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. They're our friends.

Genie: Hey.

Jojo: Is that right?

Winnie the Pooh: Mmm-hmm.

Eeyore: Even if we weren’t, it’d be pretty long day for them. That is.

Lincoln Loud: Well, almost.

Jojo: (to Ash) You look like an intelligent little boy. (Ash felt uncomfortable upon hearing this.) Okay! I'll do it! I'll need your help.

(The scene changes to the volcano where Jojo, the heroes and the girls are on the top.)

Heroes: What?!

Girls: What?!

Jojo: Jump in, take this device and build into the volcano. (to heroes) And you will all stay here to make sure it functions.

Winnie the Pooh: Uh, why should we?

Jojo: Because we need to harness the energy of Earth's core for power.

Rabbit: What are you talking about?

Jojo: A plan.

Brock: What plan?

Blossom: Uh, oh, yeah, but, use our powers?

Jojo: Yes!

Ash Ketchum: Oh, no, bad idea!

Buttercup: I agree with Ash. No way!

Jojo: Come on!

Bubbles: Nuh-uh, we're never using our powers again.

Lori Loud: This is crazy! We're literally gonna get arrested if we do this.

Jojo: Oh, girls, don't be sad. Your powers are great, you just gotta believe in yourself.

(Jojo looks at the girls slyly as the heroes look at each other with worry. While the girls look at the lava nervously.)

Eeyore: I got a bad a feeling about this.

Piglet: (gulps nervously) Me too.

Star Butterfly: Same here.

--

Jojo: Well, because, you've done so good. I've got a special surprise.

Heroes: Hmm?

Ash Ketchum: What surprise?

Jojo: You'll see, Ash.

Ash Ketchum: Okay, but it better be good.

Jojo: Oh, it will, Ash.

A visit to the zoo/Jojo mutates the monkeys/Jojo meets the villains[edit | edit source]

-

(The girls and the heroes read the Evolution of Man chart.)

Buttercup: "Worthless."

Blossom: "Lame."

Bubbles: "Stupid."

Tigger: "Okay."

Brock: 'Better."

Winnie the Pooh: "Almost."

Girls: "Awesome!"

(Jojo looks disapproved not enjoying the fun then he looks at the gorilla. The heroes look on with suspicion)

Ash Ketchum: (softly) What's he doing, now, guys.

Misty: (softly) We don't know, Ash.

Brock: (softly) Something doesn't feel right.

Rabbit: (softly) You're right, children. Jojo is up to something.

Tigger: (softly) How are we supposed to tell the girls?

Jojo: Come, girls and guys, our work is fin--Oh, I mean, time to go.

Winnie the Pooh: Already?

Girls: Aww, but, Jojo.

Ash Ketchum: We're having so much fun.

Blossom: Yeah, we haven't seen the gazelles.

Buttercup: Or the crocodiles.

Bubbles: Or the unicorns! Just on unicor- (trips over the rattle)

Twilight Sparkle: Are you OK, Bubbles?

Bubbles: Uh-huh. (sees the crying baby) Excuse me, ma'am? I think you dropped this.

(The woman and her son stared at her anger and hatred. Then, the woman rudely snatched the rattle.)

Woman: (scoffs) I thought the zoo kept all the animals in cages!

(Blossom and Misty comfort a hurt Bubbles while Buttercup and the other heroes are greatly dismayed over the woman's ungrateful attitude.)

Rabbit: Hmph, such rude behavior.

Buttercup: (yells after the woman) Yeah, well, you're welcome, lady!

Timon: She should be ashamed of herself.

Buttercup: I agree with you, Timon. She didn't say "Thank you."

Blossom: Don't listen, Bubbles.

Misty: Yeah, Bubbles, don't let this woman upset you.

Melman: Yeah, look on the bright side, Bubbles. At least they'll like us until we fix everything that we did by accident.

Rarity: Melman is right, darling.

Jojo: That's right, Bubbles. Do not listen. All of you deafen yourselves to their heartless words. They do not know it is their saviors they are speaking to. They are unaware that your actions will have helped change their world forever. (picks up the girls hugging them) Because we have helped and made it a better place.

Blossom: You think they'll be surprised?

Jojo: Oh, yeah.

Buttercup: You think they'll still be mad at us for playing tag?

Jojo: No, they'll have forgotten all about that.

Bubbles: Will they love us?

Jojo: Yes.

Girls: Really?

Jojo: Would I lie to you?

Ash Ketchum: (in his thoughts) Yes, he would.

(Six months later, the heroes arrive home at night.)

Blossom: I'm so excited!

Buttercup: Yeah! We'll show him!

Bubbles: Hey, where's...?

(On cue, the Professor is thrown roughly headfirst into the house by the same policemen who arrested him earlier with the mob of angry citizens, the Mayor, and Ms. Bellum. He is bound in handcuffs and still looks worse for the wear from his time in jail following his arrest.)

Girls and Heroes: Professor!

Otis: Are you all right, Professor?

Professor Utonium: Yeah. Oh, guys, thank goodness you're all okay. I'm so sorry, I'm a terrible, terrible parent. You must hate me for picking you up from school. But, it's not my fault, it's this town they've gone crazy. It looks they've never seen kids playing before, I knew your powers would take some getting used to. But, jail, lawsuits, angry mobs? What's next?

Girls: Don't worry, Professor, things are gonna get better we promise.

(Ash felt deeply worried.)

Blossom: Ash, what's wrong?

Ash Ketchum: Something doesn't feel right, girls.

Bubbles: What do you mean?

Buttercup: Yeah, what are you saying?

Ash Ketchum: I just saw the way Jojo smiled. I have a feeling things can go wrong. Right, guys?

Heroes: Right.

-

(Jojo laughs evilly the camera pulls back then we see the girls sleeping in bed smiling. But on the other hand an anxious Ash was unable to sleep knowing what might happen the next morning.)

Ash Ketchum: (in his thoughts) I have a really bad feeling about this.

(Back in Jojo's lab)

Familiar voice: Excuse me, sir.

(Jojo turns around to see the other villains)

Jojo: Well, well, well. Who do we have here?

Sheldon J. Plankton: The name is Plankton. Sheldon J. Plankton.

Nora Beady: I'm Noreena Beady, but you can call me Nora.

Scar: Askari, call me Scar. These are my henchmen, Shenzi, Banzai & Ed.

Morag: I am Morag.

Mr. Crocker: I'm Denzel Crocker.

Vicky: I am... (does dramatic music on an organ) ...Vicky!

Hades: I'm Hades.

Jafar: I'm Jafar.

Dr. Facilier: A tip of the hat from Dr. Facilier. How you doing?

Dr. Blowhole: I am Dr. Blowhole, and this is my partner-in-crime, Makunga.

Makunga: Hello.

Pete: And I am Peg-Leg Pete!

Jojo: Huh. Pleased to meet you. What brings you villains here?

Dr. Blowhole: We want revenge on Pooh and his friends, and eliminate them forever! (laughs maniacally then falls off his scooter) I'm OK.

Jojo: Huh. Eliminate Pooh Bear and his friends, and the girls. I like it. And with my mutated monkeys, we can rule the world! So, what do you say? Do we have a deal?

Hades: Deal! (shakes his hand)

(Jojo and the villains laugh)

Jojo becomes Mojo Jojo/The mutated monkeys take over[edit | edit source]

(The next morning.)

Girls: Today's the day!

Buttercup: Today's the day!

Blossom: Today's the day!

Bubbles: Today's-

Jojo: The day!

Blossom: What to wear!

Buttercup: What to wear!

Bubbles: What to wear!

Jojo: Ooh, that nice.

(The girls and Jojo get dressed. The girls go the heroes who are sleeping.)

Girls: Good morning, guys.

Winnie the Pooh: (wakes up) Good morning, girls.

Melman: How'd you girls sleep?

Buttercup: Real great, Melman. (goes to Ash and Pikachu) Ash, Pikachu, are you guys awake?

Ash Ketchum: (wakes up) Uh-huh.

Pikachu: Pika.

Blossom: Today's the day, guys.

Tigger: Must be exciting! Hoo-hoo!

Rabbit: Why's that, girls?

Bubbles: (giggles) You'll see, guys.

Misty: Where's the professor?

Brock; He's still sleeping.

(The girls and the heroes go to the professor who is sleeping on his desk while holding the phone.)

Girls: Professor, wake up! Wake up! Wake...

Mojo Jojo: Up! Wake up, my brothers! Wake up, and seize the...

Bubbles: Day!

Professor Utonium: The day?

(The girls carry the professor and the heroes out the door.)

Blossom: Yeah, the day when we...

Mojo Jojo: Show Townsville just what our powers can really do!

Professor Utonium: (confused) What?

Blossom: We're gonna show Townsville just our powers can really do.

Buttercup: Yeah, we did something really good.

Bubbles: That's gonna really really...

(The mutant monkeys attack the citizens of Townsville.)

Woman: Help!

Bubbles: Well, we met this guy.

Buttercup: With powers like us.

Blossom: Who was also hated by everybody.

Winnie the Pooh: That's right, the monkey's name is Jojo with a paper bag on his head and hobo clothes on.

(Squidward laughs. As Pooh, his friends, the girls and the professor scowl at him, he whistles)

Bubbles: Anyway, but he had this great idea.

Buttercup: To help the town.

Blossom: And make it a better place.

Bubbles: That way the town would accept us.

Buttercup: 'Cause, we did something to help.

Blossom: So, we used all our powers.

Bubbles: And abilities.

Buttercup: And his ideas.

Blossom: To help everybody.

Mojo Jojo: City of Townsville.

Buttercup: It's gonna be so cool.

Mojo Jojo: I'd like to take this moment.

Blossom: You're gonna be so proud.

Mojo Jojo: To thank the little people.

Bubbles: Everyone's gonna love us.

Mojo Jojo: To help make this day a smashing success!

Girls: We did really goo--

(The girls and the heroes become shocked upon seeing the mutant monkeys attack the citizens.)

Tigger: Say, what's going on here?!

Applejack: What in tarnation?!

Mojo Jojo: Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, I could've done it without you!

(The girls and our heroes look shocked)

Man: It's their fault!

Man 2: I knew they were no good!

(Mojo Jojo laughs evilly as the heroes glare furiously at him. Pikachu's cheeks spark with anger.)

Rabbit: Jojo, what is the meaning of this?!

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, Jojo, what did you just do?!

Pikachu: (angrily) Pika!

Mojo Jojo: (tauntingly) Why, Ash. That is really rude of you to ask me that.

Blossom: But, what happened?!

Bubbles: This isn't making the town a better place!

Mojo Jojo: Yes, it is, for me! The hobo Jojo is formerly is no mo. From this day forward I shall be simply known as Mojo Jojo!

(The heroes and the girls gasp with horror.)

Ash Ketchum: Mojo Jojo?!

Mojo Jojo: That's right, Ash. That's my new name!

Brock: It’s just as we thought. You've double-crossed the girls?!

Misty: We demand an explanation from you!

Mojo Jojo: An explanation you said? For too long, apes and monkeys have been under the thumb of man. Well, the time has come to opposed that thumb and take hold of what is rightfully ours! The world!

Ash Ketchum: (growls in anger) You little green-faced ape! (attempts to aim Mojo)

Mojo Jojo: Ah-ah-ah, Ash. Do you want my army to crush you and your friends?

Ash Ketchum: Making a town a better place by creating an army of monkeys is this what you called making a town a better place by stabbing the girls in the backs?!

Pikachu: Pikachu!

Mojo Jojo: You're starting to annoy me, you little brat!

Winnie the Pooh: I don't suppose you'd be satisfied with a hug instead?

Mojo Jojo: Not from you! That's why I have some new friends who I made a deal with.

Blossom: What new friends?

(A camera recorder focuses on Otis)

Pip: Uh, Otis? Do you see that camera recorder?

Otis: Uh-oh. Is that...?

(Nora appears out of the crowd)

The Barnyard Animals: Mrs. Beady?!

Nora Beady: That's right. I'm with him.

Scar: Pooh, Ash, Otis, Simba. (chuckles) I'm a little surprised to see you.

Simba: Scar.

Winnie the Pooh: Oh, no! It's Scar!

Blossom: Who's Scar?

Simba: He's my evil uncle who killed my father!

(The girls gasp. The hyenas appear)

Banzai: Well, lookee here. Dinner and a side-dish.

Pumbaa: Uh-oh. Hyenas!

Timon: I hate hyenas.

Scar: We have partnered up with other villains.

Pinkie Pie: Oh, yeah? Like who?

(Vicky appears)

Timmy Turner: Vicky?!

Vicky: That's right, twerp!

Buttercup: "Twerp?"

Wanda: She always calls him that.

(Crocker laughs maniacally as he appears behind Vicky)

Timmy Turner: Mr. Crocker?!

Mr. Crocker: That's right, Turner. And there you are with your... FAIRY GODPARENTS!!!

Cosmo: He always hatches a plan to catch us.

(A hooded figure approaches)

Bubbles: (narrows her eyes) Who's that?

Blossom: I don't know, Bubbles.

(The figure removes its hood, revealing Morag)

Morag: Hello, Louds. Remember me?

(The Loud sisters gasp in shock)

Lincoln Loud: (angrily) Morag!

Bubbles: Who's Morag?

Lincoln Loud: She's the one who first became Duchess in Loch Loud, Scotland.

Tigger: Oh, great. First, Mrs. Beady, then Scar and the hyenas, then Vicky, then Mr. Crocker, then Morag. Who else?

Jafar: (appears) I am!

(The heroes gasp in shock)

Aladdin: Jafar?!

Jafar: That's right, Al. I teamed up with him.

Mojo Jojo: But even better, somebody else joined in with me.

(Hades appears)

Hades: Ba-boom!

(The heroes scream)

Blossom: Who's that?

Hades: The name's Hades, Lord of the Dead. Hi! How ya doin'?

(Facilier pops up from behind Hades)

Dr. Facilier: Bonjour.

Winnie the Pooh: Shadow Man!

Piglet: Oh, dear!

Tigger: Uh-oh.

Mojo Jojo: I even have a little fella with me. (introduces Plankton)

SpongeBob SquarePants: Holy shrimp! Plankton!

Blossom: Who is that little green creature?

Mr. Krabs: That's Plankton. He's that evil owner of the Chum Bucket who tries to steal the Krabby Patty Secret Formula.

Sheldon J. Plankton: That's right, Krabs!

Tigger: Oh, great. Who else?

(Dr. Blowhole appears on his scooter)

Dr. Blowhole: I am.

Skipper: Blowhole!

Dr. Blowhole: And him.

(Makunga appears behind him)

Alex: Makunga!

Makunga: That's right. It's so good to see you again, Alakay.

Marty: His name is Alex!

Makunga: Whatever.

Mojo Jojo: And last, but not least...

(Pete appears out of nowhere)

Mickey Mouse: Pete!

Pete: That's right, Mouse! We're here to exact revenge on you, and once we're done, we'll bring you to Castle Koopa as our personal "guests".

Winnie the Pooh: Castle Koopa?!

Piglet: Oh, dear!

Tigger: Uh-oh.

Girls: Professor, we didn't want this!

Woman: Liars!

Man 1: Fibbers!

Man 2: You've doomed us all!

(The heroes had nothing to do but watch with great dismay.)

Blossom: Please, Professor. Please believe us.

Winnie the Pooh: Please, believe them. They were deceived.

Professor Utonium: (sadly) I don't know what to believe. (the girls gasp in shock) I thought you were good.

(The girls fly up to space.)

Girls: No!

Ash Ketchum: Girls, wait! Come back! Please!

Pikachu: Pikachu!

Rainbow Dash: Girls, wait!

(Ash and Pikachu tried to follow them, but Mojo stops them)

Mojo Jojo: It's no use yelling after the girls, Ash. They can't hear you now,

Ash Ketchum: Why not?

Mojo Jojo: Because they flew way up into the sky. You and your friends are now my prisoners.

Misty: You’re just a bully!

Pikachu: Pika!

Brock: You’re so cruel!

Timon: Why I ought to--! Let me at him! Let me at him! Hold me back.

Pumbaa: OK. (grabs Timon's tail)

Timon: Let me at him! Let me at him!

Pumbaa: OK. (lets go of Timon's tail)

Timon: Uh, you're missing the point.

Pumbaa: Oh.

Tigger: Doesn’t like hugs, huh? Hmm. How nasty can you get? Well, I say we stand and fight. I can teach this here villain a thing or three. Why, I—

Owl and Gopher: 🎵You got no chance to stand and fight, you better stay in bed🎵

Owl: 🎵He’ll trounce you left🎵

Gopher: 🎵He’ll trounce you right🎵

Owl and Gopher: 🎵And tap dance on your head🎵

Piglet: Uh, p-perhaps we should try to hide. Uh—

Owl and Gopher: 🎵You can try your best to hide, but remember what we said🎵

Owl: 🎵He’ll trounce you left🎵

Gopher: 🎵He’ll trounce you right🎵

Owl and Gopher: 🎵And tap dance on your head🎵

Rabbit: Run! Run! We gotta run!

Owl and Gopher: 🎵You may think that you can run, but Jack’s a thoroughbred🎵

Owl: 🎵He’ll trounce you left🎵

Gopher: 🎵He’ll trounce you right🎵

Owl and Gopher: 🎵And tap dance on your head🎵

Rabbit: Aaaaaaah!

Gopher: What’s the matter with him?

Owl: Hoo, well, obviously doesn’t appreciate fine music.

Winnie the Pooh: Oh, this can't be happening.

Mojo Jojo: Oh, it already has, Pooh Bear. Tell me, Ash, what's your little Pikachu going to do to me? Stare at me with his adorable little eyes?

Ash Ketchum: (tauntingly) No! My Pikachu has 100,000 volts of electricity stored in his cheeks, so you better watch it!

Mojo Jojo: (mockingly) Now, we're really scared. Not! (laughs along with the other villains) I've rock! I rock so hard. For, I Mojo Jojo, I have succeeded in my first greatest and most brilliant plan ever. And, I Mojo Jojo, shall be king of the planet of the apes!

Misty: (quietly) Are you kidding me?

Orangutan: You shall be king? Preposterous!

Mojo Jojo: What?! How dare you!

Orangutan: (putting on a Mojo outfit) For it is I who is the one most suited to be ruler.

Mojo Jojo: Those are my clothes!

Orangutan: I, Ojo Tango shall be simian surpreme!

Mojo Jojo: No Ojo, Mojo!

[Ojo hops in an orangutan-shaped tank with cannons for arms.]

Ojo Tango: As I unleash the offensive omnipotence of the oppressive orango-tank.

[At this point, a lowland gorilla speaks up. His voice is very low and burly.]

Western Lowland Gorilla: Hold on.

Mojo: Oh, no!

Gorilla: It is I who shall get a grip on the situation.

[He dons a pair of metal fists and another outfit similar to Mojo's.]

Mojo: You'd better not.

Gorilla: As I, Rocko Socko, seize control and rule.

[To accentuate his words, he smashes a gaping hole in the nearby building.]

Mojo: Wait.

[At this point, all the primates are wearing variants of Mojo's costume.]

[A lanky Olive baboon speaks next.]

Olive Baboon: I, Baboon Kaboom, with my Baboon-Bot, will be the bomb!

[He leaps into a large machine shaped like a baboon, complete with bomb-spewing buttocks.]

Mojo: Uh-oh.

Baboon Kaboom: And if you don't like it… …you can sniff my Baboon-Bot Bombs.

[The Baboon Bot poops bombs then throws them as they explode.]

Mojo: (sarcastically) Oh, that's classy.

[A large barrel of White handed gibbons, in the same form as the famous Barrel Of Monkeys toy, rolls down the street. A group of them speaks at once.]

Gibbons: Gangway, gangway! For we the Go-Go Patrol as brothers-in-arms are linked to form a chain of command that will reach out and take over your world.

[A Japanese Macaque is standing in a vat of boiling water atop a dam.]

Macaque: I, Hota Wata, am boiling mad for you are all wet behind the ears. [explodes dam, water rushes forth.]Therefore I shall unleash a scalding torrent to drown you all about. For I don't give a—

Mojo: Watch your mouth.

[Next is a West African chimpanzee with a pair of cymbals, moving sporadically like a toy as he clashes his cymbals.]

Chimpanzee: I, Cha-Ching Cha-Ching, symbolize chaotic calamity.

[Next is a large group of Spider monkeys with flying rocket packs. They speak in unison.]

Spider Monkeys: We, The Doot Da Doot Da Doo Doos [humming the flying monkeys' theme from The Wizard of Oz], shall rain on your parade, because… [begin to hock loogies]… we're the spit.

Mojo: Ew.

[A proboscis monkey speaks next, imitating Jimmy Durante, with a dance number playing in the background as he half-sings the words. A large array of banana peels lie before him.]

Proboscis Monkey: 🎵My name is Hacha Chacha🎵 🎵And here is my schpiel🎵🎵 A diabolical plan with lots of appeal🎵 🎵Spreading out bananas far and wide🎵 And fixing up the folk for a slippery slide🎵

[And two people do indeed slide slippery on those peels: a man on his heel and a woman on her face!]

Mayor: [still under Mojo's boot] That's pretty catchy.

[A nervous young bonobo speaks next, clearly putting together his plan at the last minute.]

Bonobo: I, uh, uh, Blah Blah Blah Blah, shall, uh, create a sauce of chaos. A-A-And stir up trouble with a destructive force known as, uh-uh-uh the Tormato.

Mojo: Tormaato?

Mayor: Tormayto.

[Mojo looks down at him in annoyance for that little pun on pronouncing the name and gives him a smart punt off the steps. At this point, the scene goes through a myriad of monkeys in quick fashion:]

Mandrill: I, Killa Drilla.

Cross River Gorilla: I, Bonzo Bango.

Tapanuli Orangutan: I, Rolla Ova.

Pygmy Marmoset: I, Cruncha Muncha.

Nigeria-Cameroon Chimpanzee: I, Whacko Smacko.

Eastern Chimpanzee: I, Pappy Wappy.

Many monkeys, chimpanzees, gorillas, orangutans, and even an uakari: I… I… I… I… I… I… I… I…I… I… I… I… I… I… I… I… I… I… I… I… I… I… I…

Mojo: NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Stop! Cease! Desist! Do not continue with the ramblings, for my ramblings are the ramblings to be obeyed! For, I am the king, supreme leader and all-around dictator! Don’t you see?! All you monkeys are my plan, so your plans are my plans because you made plans and my plan was to make you! I plan to rule the planet! Not to have my plans plan to stop me! I AM YOUR CREATOR! I AM YOUR KING! I AM MOJO JOJO! [pushing the Professor out of the way] OBEY ME!

Piglet: I just remembered. I got a very important appointment *laughs nervously* under my bed.

Tigger: But, Piglet, we have to stop Mojo and his mutant monkey army from destroying the city.

Piglet: Why?

Rabbit: Because Townsville is depending on us.

Baby: *squeaks*

Tigger: Oh, come on, old Piglet, old partner, old buddy. This showdown won’t be so bad.

Piglet: Wouldn’t be so bad? His name is Mojo. Not friendly Mojo or perfectly wonderful Mojo. No. It’s Mojo Jojo! I’m not going out there alone!

Rabbit: But, Piglet, what about the play?

Piglet: Uh, is there anything in the play about the Powerpuff Girls finally being accepted in end?

Christopher Robin: *laughing* As a matter of fact, there is.

Piglet: Well, if you’re sure, okay.

Blossom and Buttercup's argument/Realization[edit | edit source]

(In the asteroid belt, we hear Bubbles crying in a distance)

Bubbles: *crying*

Buttercup: (angrily) That jerk! That big fat dumb jerk, he duped us. Ash was right about Mojo, he planned it along and we fell for it!

Bubbles: (crying) And now everybody hates us even more. (sees Buttercup digging a wall on the astroid) What are you doing?

Buttercup: What does it look like I'm doing? I'm building a house. ‘Cause now we have to live here!

Bubbles: Live here?

Buttercup: Yeah, don’t you see? This can be the bedroom and this is my bed. *lays down* That can be your bed over there.

Bubbles: *whines* I don’t wanna sleep on a rock! *cries*

Blossom: [accusingly] Maybe if someone hadn't pushed Bubbles into the school...

Buttercup: Oh look, she speaks. Well maybe if someone hadn't insisted on walking home from school so we could run into the BIGGEST LIAR IN THE UNIVERSE!!

Blossom: We weren't allowed to use our powers, and you know it!

[Bubbles watches the argument from a distance; zoom in on her, putting them out of view, on the next line.]

Buttercup: It’s miss goody-goody.

Blossom: What was I supposed to do?! We weren't going to get people to stop hating us by breaking rules!

Buttercup: Oh yeah?! And using our superpowers to make a "Help the Town and Make It a Better Place Machine"... [Pull back into space; we cannot see her from here.] WAS FOLLOWINGRULES????!!!!

[She crosses her eyes and takes on a particularly nasty tone when she says the name of the “Machine.” Back to the asteroid’s surface.]

Blossom: I didn't see you putting up a fight!

Buttercup: Your gonna now. *tackles Blossom*

[She hurls herself at Blossom; the two tumble back and forth across the screen. Bubbles stands back and watches the scuffle, her back to the camera.]

Blossom: [as they roll around] Well, if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be in this stupid mess! You stupid!

[Bubbles drops to her knees; long shot of her as she starts wailing all over again. Buttercup slams down in the foreground so that all we see is an extreme close-up of her head and arms. She is on her stomach and struggles to rise, but is unable to do so after some moments. She stops briefly, then screams and pounds her fists against the ground; pull back to show Blossom sitting on her. By this point, Bubbles’ crying is no longer heard.]

Blossom: I’m not fighting with you, Buttercup.

Buttercup: Oh, yeah?! 'Cause you know I'll kick your butt!

Blossom: [standing up] No! Because I know...oh, never mind! [Pull back to frame both; they stand well apart.] I'm not fighting with you! And I'm not talking to you, EVER!!!!!

Buttercup: Well, prepare yourself for a looooooong silence, girl, ‘cause we're going to spend the rest of our lives here, thanks to you!

[On the end of this line, cut to Blossom; she steps away a bit and sits down, her back to Buttercup’s shadow. Back to the latter.]

Buttercup: At least I got me a bed. *lays back down*

[Blossom sits silently, her face frozen in righteous anger and her head down, but after a moment her expression softens and she looks sadly into the cosmos—toward Earth, in fact..Her eyes betray the indecision that is tearing her down the middle; to try to escape it, she turns her face away from the sight and covers her eyes. Long shot of her, panning across to Buttercup and then Bubbles, who is crying a little again; the camera then zooms in on her. She suddenly stops crying and looks up with concern. The slight bit of background noise begins to grow at this point and on each successive asteroid shot.]

Bubbles: *crying until she starts hearing something* Blossom? Buttercup? [Pull back to frame them all.] Do you hear that?

Back on Earth

Ash Ketchum: Heracross, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, I choose you! *throws his Pokéballs up high as his Pokémon came out*

Brock: Onix, Pineco, Crobat, let’s go! *opens his Pokéballs as his Pokémon came out*

Misty: Corsola, Staryu, Politoad, you too! *opens her Pokéballs as her Pokémon came out*

Defeating the mutated monkeys[edit | edit source]

Tigger: Stop him!

Rabbit: Leave him alone, you brute!

Professor Utonium: Girls!

Girls: Professor! (they quickly fly back to earth) Professor! Professor! Professor!

-

-

-

-

-

Girls: Guys!

Winnie the Pooh: There you are, girls!

Piglet: Boy, are we glad to see you!

Rabbit: We were deeply worried about you.

Tigger: Are you girls OK?

Buttercup: Yep, we are now, Tigger.

Simba: Where'd you girls go in the last couple of hours?

Blossom: Never mind that, Simba. The professor is in trouble, and we need you guys to back us up.

Misty: We know, but how? There's too many monkeys, we can't take them all at once.

Rabbit: What power do we have over those mutated monkeys?

Eeyore: I wish I had an answer to that.

Brock: Hey, wait a minute, our Pokémon is powerful enough to help stop those monkeys.

Girls: Really?

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, and you girls can use your powers to stop all of the monkeys from killing humanity.

Blossom: Hey, you're right, guys. And, better yet. Watch!

(Blossom charges at the orango-tank then it falled back and exploded.)

Buttercup: Wow!

Bubbles: That was ama-- (suddenly the monkeys spit on them) Hey!

Tigger: Yuch!

Misty: They're spitting on us! That's gross!

Rabbit: This is really rude!

Bubbles: Eww, gross! Cut it out!

Rarity: Stop ruining my beautiful mane!

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, quit spitting on us, you no-good apes! This is disgusting!

(Bubbles fires her lasers at the monkeys which caused them to fall to the ground.)

Otis: That should teach them a lesson!

Blossom: Well said, Otis!

Otis: Thank you.

Blossom: Come on, guys, let's put an end to this gorilla warfare!

Peck: ATTACK!!!!

(The girls fly over to Cha-Ching Cha-Ching and they beat them up. He falls in front of Mojo who is clutching the professor by the neck.)

Tigger: Hoo-hoo!

Blossom: Ha-ha! Good one, Bubbles!

Dr. Facilier: (shocked) The girls are back?!

Hades: WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! (calms down) OK, OK, fine. I'm cool. I'm fine.

Sheldon J. Plankton: Impossible!

Professor Utonium: Girls! (Mojo silenced him while Ash and Pikachu witness the professor is being held captive)

Mojo Jojo: Shut up! I was afraid of this. They've returned and found out what they're powers can really do! (walking away) Come! You will make a good Powerproof vest!

(Pikachu's cheeks spark up with anger and Ash growled angrily after Mojo and the villains while holding up his fist.)

Ash Ketchum: I'm gonna make you and the villains regret this, Mojo Jojo! I swear it!

Blossom: (gently) Shh, we'll deal with them later, Ash. Because we got other monkeys to take care of.

Ash Ketchum: (calms down) Well, okay.

-

-

(Star, Marco, Freddy, Peck, Leni, Cosmo and Timon run away from two burly mutated monkeys. They stop at a dead end as they corner them. Blossom is ready to fight, until...)

Pumbaa: Drop them!

(The burly monkeys spot Pumbaa nearby)

Burly Monkey #1: Hey! Who's the pig?

Pumbaa: Are you talking to me?

Timon: Uh-oh! They called him a pig.

Pumbaa: Are you talking to me?!

Timon: They shouldn't have done that.

Pumbaa: ARE YOU TALKING TO ME?!?!?!?!

Timon: Now they're in for it.

Pumbaa: THEY CALL ME MR. PIG!!!!! (yells and charges at the monkeys, who scream, and rams into them. The monkeys run away)

Blossom: Nicely done, Pumbaa!

Pumbaa: Thanks, Blossom.

-

-

Blossom: Care to do the honors, Ash?

Ash Ketchum: (smiling) With pleasure! Pikachu use thunderbolt!

(Pikachu shocked all the mutated monkeys with his powerful thunderbolt which amazed the girls and the citizens.)

Blossom: Great job, Ash!

Buttercup: Way to go, Ash! Give me five!

(Ash and Buttercup high-five each other.)

Bubbles: Nice job, PIkachu!

Pikachu: Pikachu!

-

Buttercup: None of those stupid monkeys have the professor!

Bubbles: Where could he be?

Blossom: Take a good guess!

Winnie the Pooh: Look!

(Mojo and the villains take the professor to his lair, then differently-shaped automatic doors lock the entrance)

Ash Ketchum: Mojo and the villains are the ones who have the professor! We're all gonna give them a taste of their own medicine!

Gloria: Ash is right! What do you say we stop them?

Blossom: You got that right, Gloria! Come on, guys! We got one last monkey and those guys to get off our backs!

Tigger: Then, let's get him!

Rainbow Dash: Let's do this!

Buttercup: You're right, Rainbow Dash. We're gonna teach Mojo and the villains a lesson.

(The girls pick up the heroes and they flew into Mojo's lair.)

Girls, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Star Butterfly and Marco Diaz: Not so fast, Mojo Jojo!

Alex: And the villains, too!

Rabbit: Unhand the professor at once!

Mojo Jojo: (mockingly) Aww, look at the little heroes and their friends here to save their daddy.

(The other villains laugh tauntingly)

Professor Utonium: No, guys. Save yourselves!

Ash Ketchum: Let the professor go or else!

Mojo Jojo: Or else what?

Ash Ketchum: Or else I'll have my Pikachu shock you with his thunderbolt if you don't!

Pikachu: Pika!

Tigger: Yeah, brunos! You're gonna have trouble!

Rainbow Dash: Yeah! No one lays a hand on the professor!

Twilight Sparkle: That's right!

Rarity: Fighting is not really my thing, I'm more into fashion. BUT I'LL RIP YOU TO PIECES IF YOU TOUCH ONE HAND ON THE PROFESSOR!!!

Blossom: Guys, let's not rush things.

Buttercup: Yeah, we got this!

Timmy Turner: Oh, right. Sorry.

Bubbles: Sorry, Professor.

Buttercup: We can all take this chimp chump down easy!

Blossom; Nothing, can do to stop us!

(Mojo pushed against the professor's head which caused the girls to gasp in shock and the heroes to cringe in pain)

Ash Ketchum: No!

Pinkie Pie: Ouch! That's gonna leave a mark!

(The heroes and the girls are deeply angered at Mojo for what he almost did to the professor. Pikachu's cheeks spark up with anger.)

Mojo Jojo: That's better. It's good you little freaks and meddling fools know when you're all beaten. Now, if you all excuse me, I, Mojo Jojo, along with the villains, have a town to take over. We have a world to rule. We have to seize control of an area, and force it's inhabitants to follow my way of thinking. Even if it means... (injects the needle in his brains) ...taking extreme measures!

Girls: (gasping) You wouldn't!

Mojo Jojo: I would!

Winnie the Pooh: Oh, bother.

Piglet: Oh, I can't look!

Ash Ketchum: You can't do that!

Mojo Jojo: Too bad, Ash, I just did.

(The chemical X enters Mojo's brain as he began to grow bigger and his clothes ripped and the heroes look on with horror.)

Tigger: He's getting bigger!

Professor Utonium: (screams as he falls)

Bubbles: Professor!

Rabbit: Watch out, everybody!

Vicky: So long, suckers!

Mojo Jojo: Now, I am more Mojo than before!!! (jumps down from his volcano hideout and goes to the ruined city hall; to his knocked out former minions. The villains ride on his shoulder) Now, as I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted, I, Mojo Jojo, have succeeded in my first, (removes the roof and places it on his head as his helmet) greatest, and most brilliant plan ever! And I, Mojo Jojo, SHALL BE KING!!!

Final battle/Ash gets healed[edit | edit source]

(Back at Mojo's lair, Buttercup pushed up the pile getting out of the hole)

Rainbow Dash: Ow! My head!

Applejack: Is everybody OK?

Twilight Sparkle: Yeah. Me and Spike are OK, Applejack.

Winnie the Pooh: Are you all right, Professor?

Professor Utonium: Yes, thank you, Pooh Bear. Oh, guys, thank goodness you're all okay. Now, let's get out of this town, and find a new safe place to live.

Misty: And let Mojo destroy everything? No way!

Ash Ketchum: That's not gonna happen, Professor. Mojo and the villains will hurt millions of people if we leave.

Pikachu: (agreeing) PIka.

Buttercup: Misty and Ash are right. It's no use, Professor.

Marty: Yeah, we'll stop Mojo and the villains from destroying the City of Townsville.

Bubbles: We've already tried running away.

Blossom: We have to help fix the problem we helped stirred. You said to give little time to understand our specialness. Well, now, it's time for everyone to understand, especially Mojo and the villains! (to Pooh and the others) What do you guys say, we stop Mojo and the villains together?

Winnie the Pooh: We're with you, girls!

Piglet: I'm a little nervous to fight Mojo and the villains. But, I can help.

Rabbit: We will make this no-good monkey regret everything he's done!

Brock: We'll have our Pokemon ready for us to stop Mojo Jojo and the villains!

Misty: They'll be on their knees begging for mercy when we're through with them!

Blossom: Who else wants to help?

Timmy Turner: Oh, yeah!

Lincoln Loud: Count us in!

Kronk: I'm in!

Twilight Sparkle: Count me in, too!

Rainbow Dash: Townsville is counting on us.

Applejack: We got your front.

Pinkie Pie: Indeedy!

Rarity: Are you ready to save Townsville?

Fluttershy: Yay!

Spike the Dragon: We're all behind you, girls.

Alex: And us!

Simba: And us!

Aladdin: You ready to fight Mojo and the villains, Genie?

Genie: I was born ready.

Blossom: Anybody else?

SpongeBob SquarePants: I do!

Sandy Cheeks: I do!

Patrick Star: I do!

Squidward Tentacles: I don't.

Mr. Krabs: Oh, yes, you do! You can't stay here by yourself! Now, you're helping the girls into stopping Mojo and the villains, or you're fired!

Star Butterfly: Marco and I are in, Blossom.

Sora: If Pooh and the others are ready to stop Mojo and the villains, then Mickey, Donald, Goofy and I are in, too.

Otis: So do me and my friends!

Pip: I'll try it, I'm down. Shotgun!

Pig: Piggy back!

Peck: Never! You're all gonna die.

Buttercup: Relax, Peck. We're gonna be fine.

Tigger: Yeah, let's get them!

Ash Ketchum: We're not giving up until it's over! Let's go!

Girls: Yeah!

(The girls pick up the heroes flying off to battle Mojo and the villains as the professor looks on, while shedding a tear. The girls speed up to Mojo and the villains, stopping them from hurting the citizens)

Blossom: Surrender now, or we'll go easy on you guys! (Mojo and the villains look around) Down here!

(The citizens run off, then Mojo kneels down and the villains jump down from his shoulder to taunt the girls and the heroes, who are glaring furiously at them)

Mojo Jojo: (mockingly) Oh, my. You actually trying to stop us? That's so cute.

Bubbles: Try nothing!

Blossom: We will stop you guys!

Buttercup: Who are you calling cute?

(Mojo and the villains laugh evilly)

Mojo Jojo: OK, let's play!

(Just then, Pooh Bear and his friends arrive before Mojo and the villains can do anything)

Ash Ketchum: Hey, Mojo!

SpongeBob SquarePants: Hold it right there, mister!

Rabbit: Hmph!

Applejack: Y’all are under arrest!

Mojo Jojo: (mockingly) Why, Ash. You and your little friends come to join the party? You and your little friends come to stop us, too? That's also cute. (laughs along with the villains again)

Misty: (annoyed) Oh, sure, laugh it off, Mojo! We're gonna make you regret everything you've done!

Mojo Jojo: (mockingly) Ooh! Now I'm really scared.

Ash Ketchum: You gotta stop right now!

Mojo Jojo: Oh, yeah? And who's gonna make me?

Ash Ketchum: I'm gonna make you, that's who! Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!

(Pikachu shocks Mojo with his thunderbolt, but he is unharmed. The heroes are slack-jawed about nothing happened)

Mojo Jojo: (chuckles) Your weak little pet can't harm me with his weak little "Thunderbolt".

Ash Ketchum: (losing his temper) Don't you dare call my Pikachu weak, you two-faced traitorous ape! (turns his hat around) You’re mine!

(Ash charges at Mojo, throwing punches at him, but hurts his knuckles, which caused him to grunt in pain)

Heroes: Ooh!

Mojo Jojo: Aww, poor little Ash got an ouchie on his knuckles. You're a weak little boy! (flicks him and sends him flying into a lamppost)

Blossom: (gasps) Ash! (flies over to Ash to check on him) Are you OK?

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, I'm fine.

(Blossom helps up Ash as Pooh and the others also help him)

Bubbles: Go, Ash, run!

Buttercup: Don't worry, Ash. We'll handle him.

Rabbit: Ash, come with us, son.

Ash Ketchum: (nods) Okay, Rabbit.

Brock: Ash, hold onto me, buddy.

Rarity: Jasmine, you got your martial art skills?

Jasmine: Well, I always have my martial art skills. Why?

Rarity: Oh, just in case.

(Ash holds onto Brock while Pooh and the others run from Mojo and the villains)

Mojo Jojo: Ha! You can run, but you can't hide!

Hades: Let's get ready to rumble!

Blossom: You'll never lay a hand on our friends!

(The girls began to fight Mojo and the villains. Buttercup hits Mojo in the rear end, and she laughs, but then gets crushed)

Blossom: Buttercup!

(Blossom and Bubbles get punched out by Mojo, then a very angry Buttercup emerges from Mojo's foot, and punches his toes, which caused him to yelp to pain, then Bubbles and Blossom charge at him, knocking him down, then the building collapsed on him)

Blossom: Good job, girls.

Buttercup: Ha! (Japanese accent) That Mo' Mojo and the villains is no mo!

(The girls giggle, then Mojo gets up and used his feet to grab Blossom and Buttercup)

Bubbles: Girls!

(Blossom and Buttercup struggled to get out of his strong fists.)

Ash Ketchum: Let them go!

Mojo Jojo: Make me, child!

Bubbles: I'll handle this, Ash!

(Bubbles fires her lasers at Mojo, which caused him to release Blossom and Buttercup. An enraged Mojo lets out a shout, then he clapped his hands, which caused the girls to do backflips.)

Genie: (cheerleading) Rig ‘em rack ‘em rock ‘em rim! Stick those powers to that ape!

Mojo Jojo: (angrily annoyed) You stay out of this!

Genie: (sarcastically) Mojo, Mojo, he’s our man and if can’t do it GREAT!

Buttercup: Somebody's mad.

Tigger: I'll say.

Brock: Come on you, guys. We gotta hide!

Misty: And fast!

Star Butterfly: Hahahaha! Eat my sparkles! (shoots magic at Hades, who falls into the River of Styx as souls grab onto him)

Hades: Get away from me! Don't touch me! Get your slimy souls off me! Taxi! TAXI!!!! I don't feel so good, I... I'm feeling a little FLUSHED!!!!

(Hades disappears into the River of Styx)

Winnie the Pooh: Hades has been defeated.

Blossom: Good job, Star.

Star Butterfly: Thanks, Blossom.

SpongeBob SquarePants: 1 down!

Marty: 13 to go!

(Mojo and the villains noticed Pooh and his friends running and hiding from him. Then he goes around the city looking for them.)

Mojo Jojo: (tauntingly) I know you and your friends are hiding somewhere, girls! Come on out and don't go hiding from me! I won't hurt you! Come out, wherever you are!

(Pooh and his friends run and hide from Mojo behind the city building.)

Ash Ketchum: (panting) I think we're safe, guys.

Pikachu: Pika.

Tigger: Is he following us?

Piglet: Did we lose him?

Winnie the Pooh: I think so.

Rabbit: (hears Mojo coming) Not for long.

Pikachu: Pika, Pikachu.

Misty: I hear him too, Pikachu.

Brock: Here he comes.

(Mojo sees them hiding)

Mojo Jojo: (laughs evilly) Peek-a-boo! I see you!

(Pooh and his friends scream)

Pumbaa: (screams)

Timon: Whoa!

Pooh and Pals: *each of them were talking at once in fright*

Rabbit: Retreat!

(As they run, Ash gets picked up by Mojo.)

Ash Ketchum: (straining) Let me go!

Winnie the Pooh: He’s got Ash!

Tigger: Charge!

Mojo Jojo: (mockingly) Oh, dear, you're not going to cower now, are you?

Ash Ketchum: Not a chance, you backstabbing ape! Let me go so you’ll see how fast I can make you cry.

Mojo Jojo: Oh, my, you're a fierce little boy.

Ash Ketchum: You've became a vicious monster inside and out and now you will pay dearly for stabbing the girls in the back, Mojo!

Mojo Jojo: Aww, I know this hurts very much for the girls, dear boy. But you and your friends will have to learn to accept the truth from me.

Vicky: Yeah!

Ash Ketchum: I never trusted you from the beginning since you've lied to the girls and tried to kill humanity!

Mojo Jojo: That's too bad, Ash.

Rabbit: You put Ash down at once!

Tigger: Yeah, brunos, let Ashy-Boy go, or I’ll do the worst on ya!

Mojo Jojo: Stay out of this, Long Ears and Stripes! He's mine!

Bubbles: Drop Ash!

(Bubbles attempts to help Ash by firing her laser at Mojo's arm, which caused him to scream in pain again, and release Ash in the process, then Blossom and Buttercup catch him on time)

Ash Ketchum: Thanks, girls.

Blossom: You're welcome, Ash.

Buttercup: Don't mention it, Ash.

Winnie the Pooh: It's no use running or hiding from him. He's too powerful.

Piglet: He'll keep finding us.

Misty: We gotta fight back too.

Sheldon J. Plankton: I better get outta here. (drops down from Mojo's shoulder, and attempts to run away, but Star grabs him by his antenna)

Star Butterfly: I got him!

(Krabs takes him from Star and grabs a straw)

Sheldon J. Plankton: You can't do this to me, Krabs! (Krabs blows through the straw, launching Plankton like a spitball. Plankton goes flying back to the Chum Bucket) I went to college! (crashes through the doors) Ouch.

Kronk: Plankton has been defeated.

Winnie the Pooh: 2 down, 12 to go.

--

(Mojo springs forward, unleashing a barrage of black pointed thorns at the heroes.)

Tigger: Look out! We’re under attack!

Rabbit: Run, run, we gotta run!

Timmy Turner: And that's when the heroes decided to... RUN!!!

Otis: RUN IN FEAR!!!!

Ash Ketchum: Move it!

Pikachu: Pika, pika!

Simba: Come on, guys!

Lincoln Loud: Time to do the running man!

Sandy Cheeks: Don't just stand there! Move!

Gloria: Marty, run!

Marty: GAH!!!

Skipper: Pull back, men! Pull back!

Applejack: Come on!

Twilight Sparkle: Hurry! Hop on!

Marco Diaz: This way!

(They narrowly avoid a set of spikes. Mojo targets Blossom as she runs as fast as she can from the onslaught, just staying in front of the line of fire. But the same dog is in her way now, and she feels obligated to protect it.)

Ash Ketchum: Blossom, watch out!

(Failing her arms in rapid fire, she deflects all of the thorns from herself and her hapless canine companion, yelling out in fury. Bubbles and Buttercup are hiding nearby under the refuge of an empty bus.)

Bubbles: Oh, no! Look! Mojo's got Blossom pinned down!

Buttercup: I have an idea, come on!

(Buttercup and Bubbles lay the bus vertically in front of Blossom. Blossom stops yelling. The bus absorbs all of the thorny blows. After a few moments, the assault stops. The dog simply walks off. Buttercup dodges the last few spikes, ending up on the ground with her sisters. There is silence for a moment: Buttercup and Blossom cautiously look up, while Bubbles opens her eyes after keeping them shut in order to protect herself from the spikes)

Bubbles: Do you think he's finished?

Mojo Jojo: No, but you are! (blows fire on the girls)

(The other villains laugh maniacally)

(The heroes gasp in shock)

Ash Ketchum: (gasps) No! (gets up) That does it, Mojo! Let's finish this together! You and me!

Mojo Jojo: The pleasure is mine!

Ash Ketchum: (sends out Heracross) Come out, Heracross! Use Megahorn!

(Heracross used Megahorn which caused Mojo to cover his ears.)

Mojo Jojo: Your other little pets are powerless and weak!

Ash Ketchum: That's not true, Mojo, my other Pokemon is not weak! My Charizard is stronger than it looks!

Mojo Jojo: Maybe so, but I'm still powerful than you and your friends. You and your friends are powerless too.

(Pooh and his friends are deeply angered upon hearing this.)

Misty: We're not powerless, we're strong minded!

(Applejack lassos Nora, Jafar, Scar, the hyenas, Makunga, Blowhole, Morag, Crocker, Vicky and Pete, and yanks them down)

Brock: Nice one, Applejack!

Applejack: Thanks, Brock.

(The villains are in a catapult)

Tigger: Now, let's send them back where they came from, shall we? Hoo-hoo-hoo! A-1, a-2, a-FIRE!!! (pulls the lever, and the catapult launches the villains, who scream, away)

Nala: Only 2 more villains left. Mojo and Shadow Man.

Mojo Jojo: Oh, no, you won't. (swings the others into a wall, knocking them out)

Ash Ketchum: Guys!

Mojo Jojo: Well, Ash Ketchum, it's just you, me and Facilier.

Ash Ketchum: I don't care what you said! (growls and charges at Mojo.)

Rabbit: (groans) Ash, no!

Tigger: (groans) Don't, Ash!

(Mojo punches Ash in the stomach. The others watch while passed out)

Misty: (groans) Ash!

Brock: (groans) Oh, no!

Ash Ketchum: (grunts as he struggles to get up)

(Mojo takes one of the hair spikes from the bus and stabs Ash.)

Ash Ketchum: (grunts in pain and collapses before losing consciousness)

Mojo Jojo: (picks up Ash) Say goodbye to your little friends, Ash Ketchum! (throws Ash above the city, and he splashes into the Townsville Bay, where he slowly begins to sink and bleed as Facilier laughs maniacally)

Pikachu: (groans) Pika, Pi!

(Mojo Jojo cackles, then picks up the unconscious girls.)

Mojo Jojo: Fools! You dare to challenge me? Attempt to defeat me? Try to destroy me? (begins climbing the Townsville State Building like King Kong) I who saved you from certain death after all I've done for you, you betray me? And why?! For them? (shows the girls the frightened businesspeople inside) The ones who hated you? Had forsakened you? (climbs up to the very top) Can't you see? None of them will ever understand you as I can. For we are kindred spirits whose powers spring from the same source. So, girls, do not make me destroy you. For we are smarter, we are stronger, we are invincible, we have the power, we are superior to them, AND WE SHALL RULE!!!! (a skyview of the ruined city of Townsville is shown) All we have to do is work together. Girls, join me!

(The girls, though sad and defeated, become wide-eyed. They looked at their friends as they struggled to stand and regain consciousness from their battle. Ash continues to sink and bleed to death toward the bottom of the bay. At that moment, the girls' minds are already made up. For after all the trouble Mojo had put them through, none of that was anyone's fault. It was all the explosion of a monkey who just wanted to get back at the girls and human race for being at the bottom. With that, they exploded with rage and broke free from Mojo's grasp.)

Girls: NOOOO!!!!!

Blossom: We never join you and it's because we are stronger!

Bubbles: Because we are invincible!

Buttercup: Because we have the power!

Girls: WE HAVE TO PROTECT THEM FROM YOU!!

Blossom: It is you who has to be feared!

Bubbles: 'Cause you are a monster!

Buttercup: You are evil!

Girls: AND YOU ARE....(push Mojo down) ...it.

Mojo Jojo: (swings his arm as Facilier hangs onto his shoulder for dear life) Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

(The tip of the Townsville State Building breaks and he begins falling.)

Mojo Jojo: Ahh! CURSES!!!

Professor Utonium: (comes in with a vial of Antidote X) Girls! Girls, where are you?! You were right; We should try and stop Mojo and I know how! I whipped up an antidote to Chemical X; It will do away with his powers! Girls! Girls! Gir-- (looks upwards at the falling Mojo Jojo coming down towards him)

Rabbit: Professor, look out!

(The girls grab the Professor safely which caused him to drop the Antidote X and Mojo lands on the Antidote X which shrank him back to his normal self. Mojo groans in defeat as the heroes smirk at him with satisfaction. Pikachu shocks Mojo with his thunderbolt as the girls and the professor look on with awe. Facilier approaches and glares at them)

Dr. Facilier: You've defeated all of my fellow villains! Now, you'll spend the rest of your lives being held as prisoners forever! (cackles)

Winnie the Pooh: We don't think so, Shadow Man. We're a team, and they work together! (grabs the talisman from Facilier, and smashes it)

Dr. Facilier: No! No! (gasps as he picks up the broken pieces of his talisman. The heroes, professor and girls hide in an alley as they watch) How am I ever gonna pay back my debts?! Huh?

Masks: Bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum...

Dr. Facilier: Friends!

Masks: Are you ready?

Dr. Facilier: No! I'm not ready at all! In fact, I've got lots of more plans.

Voodoo Doll Heads: Are you ready?

Dr. Facilier: This is just a minor setback, and a major operation. (yelps as three dolls pop out of the ground like zombies) As soon as I whip another plan, we'll be back in business! I still got that bear and his friends locked away! I just need a little more time! (yelps again as a big mask appears behind him) No! No! Please, no! (whimpers as a shadow demon drags him to the mask's mouth) Just a little more time! (the dolls bang on drums) I promise I'll pay y'all back! I promise! Aaaaaah!!!! (gets sucked into the open mouth, along with all of the drums and masks)

(The big mask slams its mouth closed. The heroes shield their eyes from the flash, then see a grave bearing the name and likeness of Facilier)

Blossom: The villains are all defeated! That'll teach them a lesson. We did show the villains, didn't we, Ash?

(The heroes, girls and professor look confused as they look around)

Twilight Sparkle: Ash?

Buttercup: Twilight, Spike, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rabbit, Star, help us find Ash. The rest of you, stay here.

(The girls, Twilight, Spike, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy float over Townsville. Twilight uses her magic to lift Rabbit and Star)

Star Butterfly: Has anyone seen him?

Blossom: (sees Ash drowning in the Townsville Bay and gasps in shock) There!

Bubbles: Oh, no! Ash!

Buttercup: What's happening to him?!

Blossom: He's drowning!

Spike the Dragon: What should we do?! What should we do?!

Rabbit: Now, now, uh... No one panic! The first thing we do is not panic, because--! Somebody, do something!

Blossom: Rabbit, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Star, Bubbles, Buttercup, stay here with everyone else! I'll go and get him!

(Star and Rainbow Dash salute as they obey her. She flies out to the Townsville Bay.)

Blossom: Hang on, Ash! I'm coming!

(Blossom dives into the water. She swims down, picks Ash up, flies to the surface, then she takes him over to Pooh and the others safely. Pooh and his friends gather around to see if Ash is all right. Ash is unresponsive as Pooh and his friends gasp in worry)

Winnie the Pooh: Ash!

Piglet: Oh, dear. Poor Ash.

Pikachu: Pika, Pi!

Twilight Sparkle: Oh, no! Ash, are you OK? (pants) Ash? (her voice breaks as her eyes fill with tears) Ash?

Blossom: He was trying to protect us.

Bubbles: (crying) Ash, wake up. Please, wake up.

Brock: (checks his pulse) Ash has no pulse.

Buttercup: Yeah, and he's not breathing either.

SpongeBob SquarePants: He's not moving.

(Pikachu attempts to revive Ash with his Thunderbolt)

Misty: I don't think it's working, Pikachu.

Rabbit: (sadly) Misty's right, Pikachu. I'm afraid we lost him.

(Pooh and his friends began to cry over the loss over their friend)

Blossom: If only there was someone to heal Ash in order to bring him back. (suddenly has an idea) That's it!

Bubbles and Buttercup: Huh?

Twilight Sparkle: What's it?

Blossom: This. (transmits her powers in order to revive Ash) It's working! My powers are reviving Ash! That's the way to heal him! Come on, girls. I need your help.

Bubbles and Buttercup: Uh, OK.

(The girls transmit their powers to revive Ash as Pooh and his friends look on with awe. Ash slowly opened his eyes)

Winnie the Pooh: Look!

Piglet: He's moving.

Tigger: He's waking up.

Rabbit: He's coming back.

Ash Ketchum: Hi, guys.

Bubbles: (happily hugging Ash) Ash, you're OK!

Ash Ketchum: I sure am.

Pikachu: Pika, Pi! ( Pikachu jumps in Ash arm’s)

Ash Ketchum: ( Ash hugs Pikachu) Pikachu!

Buttercup: We thought you were a goner.

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, I'm really sorry I worried you girls.

Buttercup: Are you kidding? You did the right thing to protect us.

Blossom: Yeah, what you did was heroic and it was our turn to help you.

Ash Ketchum: I promise I won't fight Mojo ever again. Not while he’s King Kong sized.

Blossom: Aww, you wouldn't have to do anything about it, Ash.

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, it's because I don't have superpowers like you girls do.

Winnie the Pooh: Neither do we.

Bubbles: Nope. But, you do have bravery and so does Pikachu.

Blossom: Bubbles is right, Ash. It doesn't matter that you and your friends have superpowers or not. What really matters that you and your friends are heroic inside and out.

Buttercup: And, Ash, what powerful electric shocks your Pikachu has.

Ash Ketchum: He sure does, Buttercup. He does have powerful electricity stored in his cheeks despite his small size.

Pikachu: Pikachu.

Blossom: Guys, we're really sorry we didn't listen to you in the first place.

Buttercup: Yeah, you were right about Mojo it was all a scheme just to hurt everybody by creating an army of monkeys.

Bubbles: You are all true friends.

Ash Ketchum: (blushing) Aww, it was nothing.

Eeyore: We sure are.

(The girls hug Pooh and the others as Professor looks on happily shedding tears of joy.)

All: *laughing*

Misty: We'll let Officer Jenny know about Mojo and take him to jail.

Ash Ketchum: (smiling warmly) Good idea, Misty.

Blossom: And we're really sorry.

Buttercup: We messed up really bad.

Bubbles: But we're ready, everyone.

Professor Utonium: Ready?

Winnie the Pooh: Ready for what?

Ash Ketchum: What are you girls talking about?

Blossom: We're ready to take the Antidote X to get rid of our powers.

Misty: What?!

Brock: A-Are you sure about that? After everything you did?

Blossom: Yes.

Bubbles: If it wasn't for them, none of this would've happened.

Buttercup: Besides, maybe everyone would like us more if we were just normal little girls.

Townspeople: (in unison; forming a large heart-shaped pattern around them) NO!!!

Girls: (confused) Huh?

Ash Ketchum: What?

Pikachu: Pika?

Rabbit: It’s the mayor and the citizens.

Mayor: Umm, well... uh... don't do that, 'cause... that was pretty cool, with the... uh

Miss Sarah Bellum: Girls, I think what the Mayor is trying to say is, we're sorry and thank you.

[Quick pan to each speaker in succession. First up: Ms. Keane.]

Miss Keane: Yes, that was super! Just super! [A businessman.]

Man #5: Amazing! [The mother in the zoo, with her baby—the same one threatened by the Baboom-Bot earlier.]

Baby Lady: Fantastic! [An old man wearing sunglasses.]

Man #6: Wonderful! [The four IP guests.]

Jamaican Woman: Stupendous! [The stoners.]

Jay and Bob look-alikes: [both flashing bullhorns] You rock! [The Talking Dog.]

Dog: Thank you.

[The girls look joyfully around the crowd, realizing that they no longer have to worry about being pariahs, and the Mayor jumps toward them. He is on a big-league adrenaline kick.]

Mayor: Yeah! That was awesome! [running around] You were all flying, and running, and then... [He imitates the eye lasers.] ...laser eyes! Then... [jumping, throwing himself to ground] ROOAARR, BAM! And then... [Another laser imitation and more running about.] And then... [throwing a jumping hook]...BAM! You punched that guy! Ehh, remember?

(Ash steps up to make a speech.)

Ash Ketchum: Mayor and citizens of Townsville, I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town. My friends and I are the girls' first and only friends we've met the night Professor created them. We were the only ones who understood them. My friends and I were worried about Mojo Jojo whose name used to be Jojo. He was the one who duped them in the first place. It was all a scheme to create an army of monkeys. After defeating the army Mojo became a giant monster, we attempt to help the girls. But Mojo almost killed me during the battle, and the girls restored me to life with their powers.

(All of the citizens murmur with amazement.)

Mayor: My goodness that is some story, Ash.

Ash Ketchum: It is, Mayor. So, from now on, we will leave everything to the girls.

Rabbit: That's right and we never want to lose him like the last time. (in his thoughts) With Mewtwo.

Blossom: Ash, my sisters and I would be most honored to have you and your friends to back us up.

Ash Ketchum: Really?

Buttercup: Yeah, because your Pikachu and your other Pokemon are really cool, Ash.

Bubbles: Your Pokemon will make perfect backups.

Winnie the Pooh: You mean we can all back you girls up whenever there's danger?

Blossom: Yep, that's exactly what we have in mind.

Buttercup: You guys are also welcome to join us too.

Tigger: Aww, shucks, that's very kind of you girls. Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

Ending[edit | edit source]

Mayor: Yeah, that was great. You know this town stinks.

Winnie the Pooh: Why's that?

Mayor: Because this town had been plagued by countless crimes.

Piglet: Oh dear.

Rabbit: My goodness.

Ash Ketchum: Well, you did say you've always wanted some heroes to stop countless crimes to protect your city. Did you?

Mayor: Uh-huh. (to girls) And, I was wondering if maybe sometime we could call you... to save the day or... whatever.

Girls: (gasping happily) Can we, Professor?

Brock: What do you think, Professor?

Pooh Bear and friends: Hmmm?

Professor: Well... I don't know, hmmm. Okay, but only if it's before your bedtime.

(The girls, citizens and the heroes cheer)

[Fade in to the sun in a clear blue sky—a day some time after these events—and tilt down to the exterior of Malph’s, which has been fixed up. An old woman pushes a shopping cart across the parking lot, but is stopped by Ace’s hand seizing its front. His four buddies are with him. Cut to the Mayor at his desk, with Ms. Bellum standing nearby; he is signing a document.]

Old woman: (V.O.) Help!!

Ash Ketchum: Hmm?

Twilight Sparkle: (gasps)

(Our heroes look at the mayor and they point to the Powerpuff hotline. At Pokey Oaks kindergarten, the girls seem to have come to good terms with the kids. But suddenly, the hotline rings and the girls are ready to spring into action. Back to the parking lot of Malph’s. Billy is eating the old woman’s food, Ace and Snake are having a tug-of-war over her purse, and Arturo and Grubber are menacing her. Empty snack and pizza boxes lie near the overturned cart. The sound of something drifting in causes all five hoodlums to look up, scared; cut to their perspective—the girls are on the scene and smiling wickedly down at them. A tense silence ensues and is broken by three quick shots of the Gang getting what they have coming to them. Blossom punches out Ace, Bubbles split-kicks Snake and Grubber, and Buttercup hurls Arturo into Billy, sending both flying. Cut to a jail cell in which the unconscious Gang has been dumped in a heap; they share it with Fuzzy and Mojo, the latter now clad only in a pair of underwear. The door slides shut on the group.]

[Note: The old “Kilroy was here” drawing can be seen on the wall next to Mojo.]

'['Overhead view of the jail, with two cops waving. Tilt up to follow the girls as they fly away, waving back. On the start of the next line, they fly o.c. in the order Bubbles, Buttercup, Blossom.]

Narrator: Sugar, spice, and everything nice. [Cut to them among the clouds.] These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect little girl.  [Overhead view of the landscape, scrolling along.] But, Professor Utonium accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction. Chemical X.

[On this last, they streak into view and over the horizon. From here, cut to the clouds again. As each girl is named, she pulls into view, flying toward the camera wit the sun at her back.]

Narrator: Thus, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup were born! [The exterior of Malph’s; they fly over.] Using their ultra-super powers... [The donut shop; they fly over as cops wave from the parking lot.]...they've dedicated their lives to fighting crime... [The bank, now fixed up; they fly over.]...and the forces of... [The skyline, repaired; they fly over, creating a rainbow.] ...evil!

[The rainbow fades, and the camera cuts to the street on which the girls live, with the skyline in the distance. The Professor waits for them on the front walk, and they plow into him, knocking him to the ground. All four laugh. The standard end shot comes up.]

Narrator: And, so for the very first time the day is saved. Thanks to the Powerpuff Girls along with Pooh Bear and his friends. Hey, that's a good name for them, Powerpuff girls, yeah. I like that. I wonder if they will I'll run it by them. Powerpuff Girls! Mmm-hmm.

Winnie the Pooh: Hi-ho, Eeyore! Away! *falls off* Oh bother.

Eeyore: What's the rush? The play is over. Besides we're probably headed to the wrong direction.

🎵🎵🎵🎵

Owl and Gopher: 🎵And so the story ends with a great end with The Powerpuff Girls🎵

Owl: But another story comes to mind, and I do believe we have time.

Gopher: 🎵It’s all about a dog and a rabbit who are freelance police officers🎵

(scuffling)

Owl: Ooh. Well, I say.

🎵🎵🎵🎵

The End

(Pooh and his friends asked Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup if they can join them for their future adventures and they said yes.)
