== Ash and His Friends receives same invitation/Mewtwo sets up his test for Pooh and Pals ==
(Somewhere, where the owner of the Fearow dwells, a Dragonite is sent out to deliver the mentioned invitation to our heroes. Team Rocket notices something coming toward them, and then zoom past both them and our heroes. The Dragonite comes in for a landing)

* '''Rabbit:''' Oh my word, what's going on here?
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' Hey, watch where you're flying.
* '''Winnie the Pooh:''' (sees Piglet shaking) It's alright, Piglet.
* '''Tigger:''' Say, what is that Pokémon anyway?
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' It's a Dragonite, Tigger.

(The Dragonite gets out the envelope for Ash.)

* '''Ash Ketchum:''' Something for me?

(Ash opens his envelopes and both have a hologram message for them, a message of a woman, the same woman from earlier)

* '''Misty''': Wow.
* '''Mysterious Woman:''' Greetings, Pokémon trainers. I bear an invitation.
* '''Brock:''' She's really small, but really pretty.
* '''Mysterious Woman:''' You've been chosen to join a select group of Pokémon trainers at a special gathering. It will be hosted by my master, the world's greatest Pokémon trainer, at his palace on New Island. (a map soon appears that leads to New Island as the woman continues) A chartered faerie will leave from Old Shore Wharf to take you to the island this afternoon. Only trainers who present this invitation will be admitted. If you decide to attend, you must reply at once.

(As the woman speaks, a card with the words yes and no fall out of Ash's invite, which Pikachu catches)

* '''Mysterious Woman:''' My master awaits you.

(The message ends, and most our heroes are puzzled)

* '''Brock:''' Uh, is there a rewind button?
* '''Misty:''' Should we go?
* '''Rabbit:''' You should. You see... (Brock pushes him) Oof!
* '''Brock:''' Of course we should! I gotta meet her!
* '''Rabbit:''' (groans in the mud) Brock, do you mind?!
* '''Brock:''' Oh, sorry Rabbit.
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' I guess the World's #1 Trainer wants to challenge me to a match.
* '''Misty:''' Say Pooh, did you get an invitation?
* '''Winnie the Pooh:''' We did.
* '''Tigger:''' A special invitation that says we need a Pokémon Trainer to get us in as extra special guests.
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' Well, you guys came to the right Pokémon Trainer. We'll get you there.
* '''Pikachu:''' (with invite in his mouth) Pika.
* '''Misty:''' Well, we gotta let them know right away.
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' I'm saying yes.
* '''Pikachu:''' Pika.
* '''Togepi:''' Toge.
(Dragonite takes off until it is stopped by Team Rocket)

* '''Jessie:''' We wanna know what's so special about the twerp trio's special delivery?

(Invite marked "Yes" falls from Dragonite's bag)

* '''Meowth:''' Hey, look!
* '''James:''' "Yes?" To what?

(Meanwhile at New Island Mewtwo prepares for his test for Pooh and Pals)

* '''Mewtwo:''' Now that my future friends and allies have their invitation. It's time for Phase 2 of their test. (lifts his hand and swirls it to form a storm cloud formation)

(Meanwhile at  the Amazon Jungle, Mew rests inside a bubble until it wakes up)

* '''Mew:''' Mew.

(Mew's bubble rises to the surface then bursts. Mew then flies toward the sky. Back at New Island, Mewtwo continues to create his storm making it more dangerous.)

(Meanwhile at Old Shore Wharf Pooh, Ash, and their friends race through the storm toward the harbor)

* '''Winnie the Pooh:''' Oh my goodness. I thought it was gonna be nice for a cruise.
* '''Eeyore''': Never trust a cloud. I always say.
* '''Rabbit''': Eh, c'mon. Let's go inside.

(Our Heroes do so)

* '''Raticate:''' Raticate!
* '''Kingler:''' (snaps it's claws)
* '''Raticate's Trainer:''' Chill out, Raticate!
* '''Kingler's Trainer:''' Kingler! Save your energy!
* '''Trainer:''' I can't wait to get over to New Island!
* '''Trainer 2:''' This is going to be so cool!
* '''Ferry PA:''' Officer Jenny, please report to the ferry entrance. Officer Jenny to the ferry entrance, please.

(Pooh, Ash, and their friends enter the harbor)

* '''Misty:''' Togepi's totally soaked!
* '''Brock:''' I can't believe how fast the storm came up.
* '''Piglet:''' We're all w-w-w-wet.
* '''Eeyore:''' (shakes) That happens when you've been in a big rain storm, Piglet.

(Pikachu shakes itself while Ash dashes back, outside the waves pushes through the dock)

* '''Corey:''' What?! The ferry is canceled?!
* '''Neesha:''' But I've got to get to New lsland!
* '''Trainer 3:''' Yeah, so do I.
* '''Trainer 4:''' What's the big deal? It's only a little rain!
* '''Officer Jenny:''' It's more than just rain. The harbor manager thinks this could be the worst storm ever.
* '''Miranda:''' Listen to me. The prophets have predicted the return of the Winds of Water. For years I have prayed that mankind would never witness that deadly storm ever again.
* '''Officer Jenny:''' Isn't that just a legend?
* '''Miranda:''' The ancient writings tell of the storm wiping out all but a few Pokémon. In their sorrow, the water of their tears restored the lives lost in the storm.

(Pooh, Ash and their friends make their way through the crowd)

* '''Miranda:''' But there are no Pokémon tears today. Just waters which no one can survive.
* '''Winnie the Pooh:''' (sees Piglet shaking) It's alright, Piglet.
* '''Officer Jenny:''' That's why your ferry to New Island's been canceled.
* '''Fergus:''' Well, I'm going to New Island anyway! All my Pokémon are Water-type! We'll just swim over to that palace!
* '''Miranda:''' I warn you, the waves will be savage! You will never make it!
* '''Officer Jenny:''' And besides, if you try that stunt and your Pokémon got hurt, you'd be out of luck because we had to close down the Pokémon Center.
* '''Tigger:''' Say, how come? Why not? 
* '''Officer Jenny:''' Because, the nurse in charge of the center disappeared last month. And if any of you see her, please contact me at once. That's a picture of her over there on the wall.

(a Missing Poster of Nurse Joy hangs on the wall, Brock looks at it)

* '''Brock:''' Hmm, She's cute. (realizes something) She sure looks familiar.
