== Opening/Meet Norman Snively/A ruined birthday party ==
(The film opens where a yellow bird chirps just then a driving is heard from the distance. It reveals to be a truck with big clown head on top of the truck, inside a truck it reveals to be a man named Norman Snively dressed as a clown and in the back of the truck it shows a golden retriever dog named Buddy wearing a clown outfit he whimpers in the kennel. As the truck arrives at the house where the birthday party is attending. Norman comes out of his truck and his sleeve ripped)

Norman Snively: (frustrated) Oh, darn it! (groaning) 

(He gets on the back of the truck and take Buddy out of his kennel.) 

Norman Snively: Okay, mutt. Show time. Okay, come here. Hold it. Hold it. (puts the clown nose on him) Hey! (pulls out the rolled-out newspaper) Do not make me use this, okay?

(He presses a doorbell, and a little boy opens it)

Norman Snively: Hi, Clown and the Hound.

(The little boy kicked him in the leg which caused him to cry out in pain)

Norman Snively: (high-pitched voice) Hey kids, it’s Happy Slappy time! (laughs crazily) All right, now. I’ll tell you what we'll do. We’ll start off with a little bit of plate spinning, okay?

(Pooh Bear and his friends watch the clown spins the plate wrongfully then he started doing more tricks which end bad. He juggles bowling pins, but he was bad at it. He tries to make a balloon animal)

Norman Snively: I bet you won't be able to guess what this one is.

(The balloons popped. He tries to hula hoop, but he was terrible at it)

Norman Snively: (singsong) Hula, hula, hula hoop.

(He picks up a deck of cards)

Norman Snively: Pick a card. Any card. (trips)

(He then tries a plate trick again)

Norman Snively: Now we put the plate in our mouth.

(He puts the stick in his mouth, but he wheezed and coughed)

Norman Snively: Went down a little bit hard. (He does tap dancing but somehow the kids don’t find it amusing) Okay dog your turn.

(Norman gets thrown out of the house)

Norman Snively: Would it be okay if I get a couple of references?

(The mother angrily slams the door. Norman furiously puts Buddy in the kennel)

Norman Snively: Come on, get up here. (yelling) I warned you. You had your chance, you flea-bitten mongrel. You're going to the pound. Do you hear me? You're going to the pound! 

(The fabric rips) 

Norman Snively: (screaming) I hate birthday parties! I hate kids! I hate being a clown! (goes over to the fountain to wash off the cake frosting) I can't stand Birthday cakes!

(The scene changes where Norman drives his truck while talking to the dog pound owner on the phone)

Norman Snively: Yeah, dog pound? I got a vicious dog. No, it's horrible dog. It's a menace! Well, I'm bringing him in now. No, I don't know where you are. That's why I'm calling ya. What? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know where that is. I could be there in 15 or 20 minutes. Yeah. Well, no. I got a map here in the truck.

Misty: I feel sorry for the dog.

(Then the kennel started to lean forward and falls off the truck)

== Meet Josh, Jackie, and Andrea Framm ==
(We see van coming up, but then it brakes as it bumps the kennel, opening it)

Jackie Framm: Oh, my gosh. Oh, my-- (to Josh) You okay? (to Andrea) You okay, sweetie? You okay?

Andrea Framm: No!

(The dog gets out of the kennel)

Jackie Framm: Oh, jeez! Almost gave me a heart attack.

(Josh rolls down his window and sees the dog)

Jackie Framm: What on earth is that box doing in the middle of the road? We're okay. Everyone's okay. We're all fine.

(Jackie turns the van around the kennel as Josh turns around and sees the dog. The dog follows the van as the scene changes where we the Framm family driving into Fernfield)

Jackie Framm: Isn't it cute? Oh! Don't forget, my new job is just ten minutes away. Did I tell you that the Fernfield Napkin Factory's the third largest manufacturer of napkins in all North America? Well, here we are.

(Josh walks in and looks around the house. Jackie comes in with Andrea.)

Jackie Framm: So, what do you think, huh?

(Josh didn't respond and just walked away. He walks into another room and sets his box down. He takes out his basketball and puts it down. He then takes out a framed newspaper clipping of his late father, who died in a plane crash. He then takes out a picture of him and his dad carrying him over a basketball hoop. Pooh Bear and his friends arrive. Josh turns to see them he was surprised at first)

Shaggy Rogers: Like, don't be scared, little buddy. We're good guys.

Scooby-Doo: Yeah, good guys.

Josh Framm: Who are you?

Pooh: Well, this is Piglet, Tigger, and Rabbit. Kanga, Roo, Lumpy, Darby, Buster, and Eeyore.

Eeyore: Thanks for noticing.

Pooh: And I'm Winnie the Pooh. But you can call me "Pooh" for short.

Brock: My name's Brock, and I'm a Pokémon breeder.

Misty: And I'm Misty. My specialty is water Pokémon.

Togepi: Togi.

Ash Ketchum: My name's Ash Ketchum, and I'm trying to be a Pokémon master. 

Pikachu: Pika.

Ash Ketchum: Oh, yeah. And this is Pikachu.

Pikachu: Pikachu.

Fred Jones: I'm Fred Jones and this is Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, Scooby-Doo, and Scrappy-Doo.

Simba: My name's Simba and this is Nala.

Timon: I'm Timon.

Pumbaa: Pumbaa!

Charlie Barkin: I'm Charlie and this is my friend, Itchy.

Itchy: Hi.

Iago: I'm Iago.

Tai Kamiya: My name's Tai and this is Agumon, Matt, Gabumon, Sora, Biyomon, Izzy, Tentomon, Mimi, Palmon, Joe, Gomamon, T.K., Patamon, Kari, and Gatomon.

Josh Framm: Nice to meet you all. I'm Josh Framm.

Heroes: Hi, Josh.

Josh Framm: Mom, I'd like you to meet my new friends. This is Pooh Bear, Ash, Shaggy, and everyone else. Everyone, this is my mom and my sister, Andrea.

Pooh Bear: How do you do?

Rabbit: Charmed, Mrs. Framm.

Pumbaa: Please to make your acquaintance, Ma'am.

(Elsewhere, the dog was spending time at an abandoned building and heard and owl hooting)

== Josh's first day of school/Ash and Shaggy comfort Josh ==
(The scene changes to Josh's new school where Josh was sitting out in the hall while Jackie talks to Principal Pepper.)

Jackie Framm: I am a little concerned about him starting three months into the school year. He doesn't make friends very easily. Not that he's not friendly. It's just... Well, he doesn't talk mush these days. You see, when his dad passed away last year...

Principal Pepper: I'm so sorry.

Jackie Framm: Thank you. It's been difficult. So, anyway, I used to spend a lot of time around here. Except my grandparents lived here. So, I thought that the move would be the best thing for us, especially for Josh.

(Josh sees a man, who is the janitor)

Principal Pepper: I understand. I'm sure he's gonna do very well here. But tell me about, uh, extracurricular programs. Does Josh have any interests or hobbies?

(Josh then sees a showcase of trophies, then he hears a father talking to his kids in the hall)

Jackie Framm: Well, he used to like to play basketball with his dad, but he's lost interest in that too.

(Josh sees a wall of fliers for sports)

Principal Pepper: Well, let's see. Um, we have an excellent band.

Jackie Framm: Oh! I used to play the flue at his age. That was fun.

(As Josh was about to sign, the school bell rang as all the students were entering the hall)

Jackie Framm: I think an instrument would be just the thing.

(We cut to Josh in music class, playing the trombone off-key)

Music Teacher: No, no, no. Don't blow so hard.

(Josh blows an airy sound)

Music Teacher: Okay, blow a little harder.

(Josh blows the trombone, but the slider slid off as his classmates laughed. We cut to Josh walking home from school as he sees kids playing basketball)

Kid #1: Set it up, Mike!

Kid #2: Mike, go long! 

Kid #3: Michael, shoot!

Kid #4: Block the shot.

Boy: I'm open!

(Josh looks down. He continues walking home as he kicks a pinecone. He sees the abandoned building, which was an old church. He walks towards it and sees the sign with missing letters. He then goes around the back to a fence and sees an old basketball hoop. He sets down his trombone and goes over the fence. He sees that the land used to be a basketball court. He takes his basketball out of his backpack and dribbles it and tries to throw it in the hoop, but he fails several attempts and then his ball disappears into some weeds. As he goes near the weeds, he hears growling. He goes closer as his ball comes out. He hears the sounds again and then picks up his ball. He looks behind the weeds and takes out a piece of fabric. We cut to Josh's house where Jackie was talking on the phone and Andrea was playing with plastic)

Jackie Framm: I know, Mom, it's not called moonlighting. Oh, I found it. Yeah, it's, um... It's not- It's not moonlighting. You're allowed to have two jobs.

(Josh comes in)

Jackie Framm: Mom, would you hold on a minute? I have another call. Hello? Oh, yea-- (sees Josh walking up the stairs) Yes, Mrs. Grayson. Hi. Yeah, I figured out why Bolivia didn't get the napkins. Venezuela got them. Yeah.

(Josh was in his room observing the fabric until he hears a knock on the door. He hides the fabric under his pillow and lays his head down as Jackie, Pooh, Ash and the others came in)

Jackie Framm: Sorry, sweetie. That was Grandma on the phone. How was school?

Josh Framm: It stinks.

Jackie Framm: How was the trombone?

(Josh just stared and lays his head down)

Jackie Framm: Aw, sweetie. I'm sorry. You know, we've all been through a lot in this last year. But I know we're gonna get through it. This is a good place. All we gotta do is just give it our best shot every day.

Josh Framm: (sighs)

Jackie Framm: You're dad would've wanted it that way.

Josh Framm: I guess.

Jackie Framm: Sure. He wouldn't have wanted you being all mopey.

(But Josh stills mopes)

Jackie Framm: (kisses his head) I love you.

(She exits his room as Josh takes out the fabric and continues observing it)

Ash Ketchum: Josh, are you okay?

Shaggy Rogers: Like, what's wrong, little buddy?

Josh Framm: I just had a tough first day at my new school. My dad passed away last year.

(Ash, Pikachu, Shaggy, Scooby and the others are saddened to hear this)

Winnie the Pooh: We’re ever so sorry, Josh.

Shaggy Rogers: Aww, like we're so sorry to hear that, Josh.

Pikachu: Pika Pika.

Brock: Just tell us what happened.

Josh Framm: Today at my new school, I wasn't good at playing trombone. So I gave up the trombone just now.

Tigger: Aww, nobody's perfect, Joshy-boy.

Ash Ketchum: You can do anything if you try hard enough. Don't give up until it's over, okay?

Josh Framm: (smiling) Okay, Ash.

(Josh and Ash hug each other) 

Pikachu: Pika Pika.

(Ash entertains Josh by placing his hat on his head which made him laugh)

(There was a knock at the door)  

Jackie Framm: I'll get it.  

(She opens the door. It was Delia)

Ash Ketchum: Mom. What are you doing here?  

Delia Ketchum: I was passing through and decided to drop by.  

== Josh goes to basketball tryouts ==
Pikachu: Pika Pika.

Misty: Good luck, Josh!

Togepi: Toge Toge Piiiii!!!!!

Josh Framm: Thanks, guys.

(The scene changes to the school gym where the school basketball players were sitting on the bleachers. Josh comes in with his basketball) 

Kid: (laughing) Check out the new kid.

Larry Willingham: Looks like he stole that ball from the Harlem Globetrotters.

(Later that day) 

Scrappy-Doo: How's basketball try-out, Josh?

Josh Framm: Coach Barker said I’m going to be the team's equipment manager.

Tigger: Water boy? (sputters and gasps) What?

Piglet: What?!

Pooh: What?

Rabbit: What?

Eeyore: Huh?

Ash Ketchum: What?!

Shaggy Rogers: What?

Simba: What?

Timon: What?

== Meet Buddy the dog/Buddy gets a bath ==
Pikachu: Pika Pikachu.

Shaggy: Like, you really need a bath.

Pikachu: Pika.

(Then scene changes where Josh, Pooh Bear and friends get inside.) 

Winnie the Pooh: The coast is clear.

Ash Ketchum: Good.

(Josh carries Buddy into the house as sees no one around)

(Jackie comes home with the groceries)

Jackie Framm: (puts Andrea in her playpen) There you go.

(Josh, Pooh Bear and friends come into the kitchen)

Josh Framm: Hi, Mom.

Ash Ketchum: Hi, Mrs. Framm.

Shaggy Rogers: Like, can we help you with the groceries?

Jackie Framm: Excuse me?

Josh Framm: Can we help with the groceries?

Pooh Bear: How was your day, Mrs. Framm?

Jackie Framm: (suspiciously) Okay, guys. What's going on? What's wrong?

Rabbit: Nothing's wrong, Mrs. Framm. Everything's fine.

Josh Framm: Can't the guys help his mom with the groceries.

Jackie Framm: What did you guys do?

Tigger: Who, us?

Scrappy-Doo: We didn't do anything, Mrs. Framm.

Scooby-Doo: Uh-uh.

Josh Framm: Mom, do you remember when I used to have a hamster?

Timon: You had a hamster?

Josh Framm: Uh huh.

Jackie Framm: You want another hamster?

Josh Framm: No! (softly) Not exactly.

Jackie Framm: Guys, spit it out!

(A ball comes down the stairs and Buddy follows it. A noise was heard, and Pooh Bear and his friends gasp upon hearing this.)

Pooh Bear and gang: Buddy!

Jackie Framm: Oh, my gosh!

(Buddy goes to the room bouncing around the ball knocking down the boxes)

Piglet: Oh, d-dear!

Ash Ketchum: Buddy, stop!

Rabbit: Oh, my!

Pooh Bear: Oh, I can't look!

(Buddy goes under the sheet and bumps his head under the ladder step. A pail of wallpaper paste slides down it spilled all over Buddy)

Jackie Framm: (disgusted) Ugh!

Pooh Bear and friends: Eww!

Brock: Aww, man. You just had a bath, Buddy.

Shaggy Rogers: Please, don't shake, Buddy.

(Buddy does shake the paste off anyway which gets all over Josh, Jackie, Pooh Bear and friends)

Ash Ketchum: Aww, Buddy!

Josh Framm: Buddy! Eww!

Pikachu: Pika!

Piglet: (gulps, nervously) There's Buddy the dog, Mrs. Framm.

Pumbaa: (smiling nervously) We've found Buddy just recently.

Timon: Yeah, recently. (chuckles nervously)

Misty: I have a feeling Mrs. Framm is not very happy.

Brock: I agree she's not taking it very well.

(Jackie is getting angry as she wipes the paste)

Josh: (nervously) So, can I keep him?

(Jackie stares at Josh disapprovingly)

Tigger: I think we're in big trouble.

Scrappy-Doo: Uh-oh.

(The wallpaper comes off)

== Found posters/Josh's argument with his mother ==
(The scene changes where Josh puts found posters and Buddy quickly removes them. Later Josh puts a found poster inside the ice cream shop as Buddy waits for him outside as Pooh Bear and friends sit on the bench while having ice cream cones. Josh comes outside eating an ice cream cone.)

Rabbit: Ice cream.

(Josh looks at the card board boxes and then he looks at Buddy.) 

Josh Framm: Oh, here. (Buddy eats Josh's ice cream cone) I got an idea.

Shaggy Rogers: Like, what's that, Josh.

Josh Framm: I'm gonna make Buddy a home.

(Josh pushes the cardboard box as Buddy, Pooh Bear and friends follow him home. In the yard Josh pours the clothes onto the ground and writes Buddy's name on the cardboard box.) 

Jackie Framm: Josh, would you come in here, Please?

Pooh Bear: Oh, bother. Mrs. Framm is going to be mad.

Piglet: Oh dear.

Tigger: Uh-oh.

Josh Framm: You're right, guys. My mom is now mad. (to Buddy) Buddy, you gotta stay here, okay? 

(Buddy tries to follow Josh inside) 

Josh Framm: Buddy, no. You gotta stay outside.

(Josh, Pooh Bear and his friends come inside.)

Winnie the Pooh: Good evening, Mrs Framm, you wanted to see us all?

Jackie Framm: (to Josh, sternly) What are you doing?

Josh Framm: What do you mean?

Jackie Framm: The box.

Josh Framm: The box?

Tigger: Yeah, what box, Mrs. Framm?

Jackie Framm: Don't get funny with me, Josh. I know what you and your friends are doing.

Josh Framm: What are we doing?

Jackie Framm: You are making a home for him, and this is not his home. The next thing you know--

Ash Ketchum: We had to, Mrs Framm. The poor dog was all alone.

Pikachu: Pika Pika!

Josh Framm: Yeah, Mom. We can't leave him out in the rain. That's totally inhuman.

Jackie Framm: That's just the point, guys. He's not human. He's a stray.

Rabbit: We know he's a stray, Mrs. Framm. But this poor dog needs a home. Your son is right it's really cruel to leave the dog all alone in the cold weather.

Jackie Framm: Do not get attached to this, Josh. Do not! No, I have way too much on my plate as it is.

Josh Framm: I'd take care of him.

Scooby-Doo: Me too.

Scrappy-Doo: Yeah, we all help Josh take care of Buddy, Mrs. Framm.

Jackie Framm: Guys, we don't know anything about this dog.

Shaggy: Like, why not, Mrs. Framm?

Jackie Framm: Because we have Josh's little sister to think about. No. The answer is no.

Pikachu: Pika...

Misty: What's gonna happen to Buddy, if we don't take care of him, Mrs. Framm?

Togepi: Toge Toge Piiiii!

Jackie Framm: One week and if nobody claims him, he goes straight to the pound.

Josh Framm: Three weeks?

Jackie Framm: Two.

Josh Framm: Two and a half.

Jackie Framm: Josh!

Josh Framm: Christmas. That's like two weeks and a couple of days, right? That's perfect. We can't dump him before Christmas.

Ash Ketchum: Your son is right, Mrs. Framm, it wouldn't be fair.

Pikachu: Pika.

Pooh Bear: Please, Mrs Framm, let us keep Buddy for your son's sake.

Simba: At least give your son a chance.

Jackie Framm: All right, all right, Christmas. But the minute after, he's outta here. Meanwhile he stays outside and if you try to sneak him in here just once--

Josh Framm: Mom, Mom, Mom. I swear.

Pooh Bear: We promise we won't let you down, Mrs. Framm.

Jackie Framm: All right. As long as we're clear. (groans) I swear, you're gonna grow up to be lawyer someday.

(Josh, Pooh Bear and friends went to his bedroom. Josh lies on his bed and sighs in frustration)

Ash Ketchum: Dont worry, Josh. It will be okay.

Pikachu: Pika Pikachu.

Togepi: Piiiiii!

(As Pikachu and Togepi cuddle with Josh. Buddy get's under Josh's bed)

Rabbit: I'm sure your mother will get over it.

Pikachu: Pikachu.

== Josh plays basketball with Buddy, Pooh and friends/Meet Larry Willingham ==
(Larry purposely bumped into Josh and he grunts in pain then Pooh Bear and friends go to help up Josh.)

Shaggy Rogers: Like, are you okay, Josh?

Josh Framm: Yeah.

Larry Willingham: (tauntingly) What's the matter, water boy? (laughing)

(Pooh Bear and friends are appalled with Larry picking on Josh.)

Rabbit: Hmph, such rude behavior!

Pikachu: (angrily) Pika Pika!!!

Ash Ketchum: (annoyed) Ugh, who is that?

Josh Framm: That's Larry Willingham. he's the star player.

Larry Willingham: That's right, weirdos.

Rabbit: (furiously) Now just a minute, young man. You don't talk to us like that!

Tigger: Yeah, Brunos! We're heroes.

Larry Willingham: Yeah, right. More like zeroes.

Shaggy Rogers: You better watch it, man.

Scooby-Doo: Yeah and I'll give you a Scooby-Smack! (Growling)

Larry Willingham: (mockingly) Ooh, now I'm really scared.

Pikachu: (sparks fly from his cheeks) PIKA PIKA!

Misty: I’ll show you!!!!!

(Misty tries to tackle Larry but gets hold back)

Larry Willingham: (tauntingly, to Misty) You're not even worth it, you fight like a girl. Why don't you go home and play with your dolls at tea parties?

(Misty growls angrily at him.)

Ash Ketchum: (yelling) That's enough, Larry!

Pikachu: (angrily) Pika Pika!

(That night, Josh opens a fuse box and turns on the light of the court)

Shaggy: Like wow.

== Meet Arthur Chaney ==
(At practice)

Coach Barker: Okay gentlemen. Showers!

(The boys took of their practice uniforms and threw them at josh)

== Christmas time with Buddy/Private tryout ==
Jackie Framm: Merry Christmas, Josh.

Josh Framm: (happily) Buddy!

Pikachu: Pika Pikachu!

Pooh Bear: Merry Christmas, Mrs. Framm.

Ash Ketchum: It's really kind of you to let your son keep Buddy, Mrs. Framm.

Pikachu: Pika Pikachu.

Jackie Framm: Why don't you guys call me Jackie? Is that okay?

Shaggy Rogers: Like, sure, Jackie.

Ash Ketchum: (to Pikachu) And Merry Christmas to you, little buddy!

Pikachu: Pikachu!

Ash Ketchum: You know, one of my favorite things about Christmas is a good home-cooked holiday dinner! Back home in Pallet Town, my mom always cooks up a really good meal.

Jackie Framm: So do I, Ash.

Ash Ketchum: That’s cool.

== Josh tries out for the team/Josh's first basketball game ==
(Josh opens his locker and sees a private tryout flyer)

Shaggy Rogers: Like, you're in luck, Josh.

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, you can try out for the basketball team.

Pikachu: Pika Pika.

(Just then Larry and his friends arrive)

Larry Willingham: Don't even waste your time, water boy. (Laughing)

Ash Ketchum: (furiously) Larry, shut up and leave Josh alone!

Pikachu: (furiously) Pika!

Shaggy Rogers: (furiously) Like, quit picking on him!

Scooby-Doo: Yeah!

Larry Willingham: What are you guys, cops?

Ash Ketchum: No, Larry. We're Josh's friends!

Pikachu: Pikachu!

Larry Willingham: Yeah, whatever.

(Larry walks away laughing. Josh feels embarrassed without saying a word)

Ash Ketchum: Don't listen to him, Josh.

Pikachu: Pika Pika.

Shaggy Rogers: Yeah, Josh, Larry is just being a bully trying to make you nervous.

(But that wasn’t enough to cheer Josh up, later at the old church. Josh sulks while looking at his flyer while Buddy, Pooh Bear and friends sit next to him)

Rabbit: (concerned) Josh, what's the matter, son?

Pooh Bear: Are you feeling all right, Josh?

Josh Framm: Yeah, I'm fine.

Fred Jones: You don't sound fine to us, Josh.

Timon: You look like you had a bad day.

Tigger: Please, tell us what happened, Joshy-boy?

Ash Ketchum: He’s nervous to try out at a private tryout.

Pikachu: Pikachu.

Josh Framm: I wished my dad was here. He always know what to do. (Buddy placed his mouth on the ball) No, Buddy. No! I don't wanna play. Fine, you can play.

(Josh throws the basketball and Buddy bounced his head slam dunking, then the ball went into the basket)

Ash Ketchum: Look at that!

Pikachu: Pika!

Shaggy Rogers: Like, wow!

Josh Framm: (gasps)

Rabbit: Did Buddy just made a basket?

Tigger: Yep, he just did, Bunny-boy.

Pumbaa: Gee, I didn't know Buddy could do that.

Timon: Me neither.

Fred Jones: We got to see that again.

(Josh goes to the court and gives the ball to buddy and buddy headbutts the ball and goes into basket)

Josh Framm: Whoa!

(Josh joins Buddy shooting baskets together.)

Josh Framm: Yes!! (laughing)

(Now with Buddy and Josh walking)

Josh Framm: I don’t know where you learned that. But that was great.

(They shake)

Fred Jones: How are you feeling now?

Josh Framm: Good.

Velma Dinkley: Josh, just because Larry picks on you and Coach Barker is being harsh that doesn't mean you can't join the basketball game. What's more important is having fun.

Scrappy-Doo: Yeah, you shouldn't let that punk Larry upset you.

Pumbaa: Yeah. Buddy can play basketball that means you can play like him.

Pikachu: Pika Pika.

Josh Framm: (smiling) You’re right. I’m ready for that tryout.

Tigger: That's the spirit, Josh-boy.

(Later at the court, Barker whistles his players and his players join in)

Coach Barker: Alright, gentlemen. Listen up. We’re up to a rocky start. We’re 2 and 2. If we are gonna make the playoffs, we are gonna start winning, which is why I’m looking for a couple of winners. There's nine of you here. Only two of you coming back.

(Just then Josh and his friends arrive)

Coach Barker: Framm, you’re late! Bring over that rack of balls.

Shaggy: He’s not here for that coach.

Josh Framm: I’m here to try out for the team.

(The team laughed)

Pikachu: (angrily) Pika Pika!!!

Larry Willingham: He can't try out, he's the water boy.

Coach Barker: Framm! Where did you get that?

Josh Framm: It was in my locker.

Coach Barker: Well, it wasn’t supposed to be.

Josh Framm: Would it be too much trouble if I tried out anyway?

Tom Stewart: Coach, just let him.

Rabbit: Yes. You heard the kids.

Coach Barker: Alright. But if you slow down my tryout, I’m gonna have to pull you out

(Later in the locker room)

Tom Stewart: Nervous? (Josh nods and Tom gets something out of his sock) This always brings me good luck. You should take it tonight.

Josh: An orange peel?

Tom Stewart: Not just any orange peel, Scottie pippen dropped it at the Sonics game.

(Later buddy approaches the window and sees josh not inside and heads off towards the school later at the game, the crowd cheers as the team heads to the bench.)

(The game starts as Larry tips off and the Timberwolves had a possession and Larry makes a lay up and scores.)

Buck Willingham: Darn it, Larry! You make the basket then you draw the foul!

(Buddy arrives outside the school, later inside Larry scores again as the crowd cheers meanwhile buddy gets inside. As the game continues, Larry dribbles and he passes to Tom and nearly catches but drops the ball, upsetting the coach. The score shows the Timberwolves trailing by 5 points as the team huddles up)

Coach Barker: They’re killing us on the transitions. Full court press. (Meanwhile Buddy is about to enter the court) All right. 

All: Timberwolves! (The team leaves)

Coach Barker: Stewart! I don’t want to see you drop the ball again!

(Stewart nods nervously as the heroes watched)

Misty: I feel sorry for Tom getting pushed around.

(Buddy climbs the stairs and as the game continues Greg hits an opponent and the whistle blows)

Greg: That was our ball, Ref!

Referee #1:  Hacking Number 3! Hacking Number 3!

Coach Barker: Get your butt over here! (Greg goes to the bench)

Coach Barker: Do you see any other Framms here? Check in!

Rabbit: (appalled) Hmph, well I never!

Pikachu: Pika!

Ash Ketchum: Go Josh!

Shaggy Rogers: Like, you can do it, pal!

Scooby-Doo: Yeah, we're rooting for you, Josh!

Pikachu: Pika Pika!

Announcer: Framm, number 4 now entering the game.

Pooh: Buddy is here.

Piglet: Oh dear.

Tigger: Uh oh.

(Jackie went from happy to surprised)

Pikachu: Pika?

Togepi: Toge Toge Piiiii!

Josh Framm: Buddy, no!

Rabbit: What are you doing?!

(Then Buddy shoots the ball into the basket and everyone was surprised but then they cheered)

== Meet Principal Pepper/Coach Barker gets Fired ==
Misty: (surprised) You don't really mind, Buddy getting in the basketball game?

Ms. Pepper: No, not at all, dear.

Simba: Well, I'm not surprised.

(Buddy, Pikachu and Scooby run upstairs.)

Josh Framm: Buddy?

Ash Ketchum: Pikachu, where you going?

Shaggy Rogers: Like, slow down, Scoob!

Scrappy-Doo: Wait up for us, Uncle Scooby.

(Jackie, Pooh Bear and the others follow Josh, Shaggy and Ash)

Ash Ketchum: Uh, guys, you'd better come look.

Shaggy Rogers: Yeah, we've got trouble.

Pikachu: Pika.

(Principal Pepper enters)

Principal Pepper: What's going on here?

Coach Joe Barker: (desperate) Just running Tom for a little drill.

Misty: I will explain what is going on, Principal Pepper. Coach Barker is abusing poor Tom, and Rabbit and I have the evidence right here!

(She plays the tape recorder, having recorded everything Coach Barker said to Tom Stewart)

Coach Barker: (on tape) All right, but if you slow down my tryout, I'm gonna have to pull you out...Stewart! I don’t want to see you drop the ball again. You hear!...Get your butt over here!....Do you see any other Framms, here? Check in.

Misty: See that?

(Misty shows pictures of Coach Barker pelting poor Tom with basketballs)

Coach Barker: I can explain.

Principal Pepper: (sternly) That'll be enough, Joe. That'll be enough.

(Coach Barker sighs in dismay as Tom wipes his lip while Shaggy, Scooby-Doo, Pikachu Ash and the others smirk at him with satisfaction)

Josh Framm: Good boy.

Joe Barker: I would have gotten away with it. If it wasn’t for you meddling brats, that kid with the red hat and his freaky yellow pet rat.

Ash Ketchum: (dismissively) Yeah, whatever.

Principal Pepper: Thank you for letting me know, children. I don't know what I'll do without you.

Shaggy Rogers: Awww, like it was nothing, Ms. Pepper

Misty: Our pleasure, Principal Pepper.

Brock: (lovestruck) Yes, our pleasure, Ms. Pepper, I'd be glad to report to your office to see your beautiful smile.

(Misty seizes Brock by the ear and drags him away later at the Framm house) 

== Talking to Principal Pepper/Arthur Chaney becomes the new coach ==
(At the Principal’s office)

Josh: Ms. Pepper. Have you found a new basketball coach?

Principal Pepper: Larry’s dad volunteered just until we find a PE teacher.

Pikachu: Chu.

Togepi: Toge Toge Piiiii!

Arthur Chaney: Good afternoon. Uh, let's get started. (Pretends to use a basketball) You see this ball?

Larry Willingham: I don't see nothing.

Arthur Chaney: Well, I do. It's a good ball. Regulation weight, size. A little worn, but still has a nice bounce to it. (Passes the imaginary basketball) Well. Don't hang on to it, Josh, pass it on.

(Josh passes the imaginary ball to Tom)

Arthur Chaney: Nice catch.

(Tom passes the imaginary ball to Larry but he didn't budge)

Arthur Chaney: Uh-oh. Fumble.

Larry Willingham: This is stupid. Let's get a real ball in here.

Arthur Chaney: A ball is nothing but rubber and air, Larry. Basketball...(Pulls out the basketball) is what you do with it. Before you play with this, you gotta learn how to play with your teammates.

(Now the teammates are playing imaginary basketball)

Arthur Chaney: Larry, out.

(Pooh Bear and friends smile happily upon hearing it)

Ash, Scooby, and Shaggy: (softly) Yes.

Pikachu: Pika Pika!!

Larry Willingham: (angrily) What?! Why are you taking me out?!

Arthur Chaney: Josh, go on in for Larry, huh?

Buck Willingham: (furiously) What the heck do you think you're doing?!

Arthur Chaney: Time, Ref!

Buck Willingham: Why are you taking my kid out?

Arthur Chaney: 'Cause he's playing like a one-man team.

Buck Willingham: This boy is the team.

Arthur Chaney: Maybe he is to a worked-up father. But to me he is a player who's got a whole lot to learn. Now I'll kindly ask you to take your seat, Mr. Willingham. Let me get back to coaching my team.

Buck Willingham: Come on, Larry. We're leaving.

Larry Willingham: But, Dad.

Buck Willingham: (firmly) Now!

(Shaggy and Ash wave at Larry while smirking at him while Scooby blows a raspberry at him. Larry reluctantly leaves with his dad)

Ash Ketchum: So long.

Shaggy Rogers: Looks like Larry is out of the team.

Scooby-Doo: Yep, he was such a jerk. 

Pikachu: Pika Pikachu. 

Rabbit: Hmph. I hope this rude young man learned his lesson.

Tigger: That's what Larry gets for picking on Joshy Boy.

Misty: Yeah, who needs Larry?

Togepi: Toge Toge Piiiii!

Pooh Bear: Josh and Buddy will make perfect replacements since they're both really special.

Arthur Chaney: Check in, Josh.

Scrappy-Doo: Have fun, Josh.

Josh Framm: Thanks, Scrappy.

Scooby-Doo: Go, Josh!

(As the game continues the score reads the Timberwolves trailing the Barons by two points, later the players pass the ball around until Tom throws it to Josh. Then Josh looks to Michaels and then the crowd. He also looked at the clock counting down as his mother and his friends cheered him then sees an opposing player running towards him. He tries to shoot a three pointer but the ball misses to the left as the timer buzzes. The visiting team cheered while the Timberwolves looked down in defeat as Josh facepalms and Arthur and Jackie looks upset)

Ash Ketchum: I'm sorry, Josh. You'll get it next time.

(Later inside the court Josh shoots another three pointer and it gets into the basket this time)

Takato: You got it.

Arthur Chaney: A lot easier when the pressure is off, isn’t it?

Josh Framm: I thought if I made the basket, then the guys would have, you know accepted me.

Arthur Chaney: You took the shot for the wrong reasons, Josh. You see that dog.

Josh Framm: Yeah.

Arthur Chaney: Toss him the ball.

Josh Framm: Okay. (He tosses Buddy the ball and buddy passes back)

Arthur Chaney: That dog couldn’t give a rat’s behind about his point average whether he’s MVP. He just loves to play the game. I seen a lot of players in the pros, like that guy Chaney for instance, he did the same mistake you made. If you’re just out there for yourself, you’ll lose. It’s all in here, Josh. You got to play from the heart.

Winnie the Pooh: Are you really Arthur Chaney?

Ash Ketchum: The same basketball player who was on one of Josh's basketball trading cards who played for the New York Knicks?

Arthur Chaney: Yep. The one and only.

Fred Jones: Wow.

Brock: So, what was it like playing basketball?

Arthur Chaney: Well, back in 1956 when we were playing against the Celtics, I did this turnaround jumper where I would turn and jump while doing a slam duck before the buzzer went off.

Shaggy Rogers: Like wow. That must've been an interesting slam dunk.

Scooby-Doo: Yeah.

Piglet: But why didn’t you tell Josh you're really Arthur Chaney?

Arthur Chaney: After I retired, I lost interest in basketball and decided to work as a school engineer. But when Josh had the idea to make me the new basketball coach and I was impressed by Buddy's basketball skills, I decided to sign his trading card of me, coming out that I am really Arthur Chaney.

Shaggy Rogers: Oh, you lost interest in basketball.

Brock: Just like how Josh lost his interest in basketball after his father died.

Arthur Chaney: (sympathetically) Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. How did he die?

== Winning montage/Watching Buddy on TV/Norman takes Buddy away ==
(A newspaper reads “Dog Inspires Comeback” and the team crowded around buddy. At practice, Tom and Arthur were passing the ball to each other)

Arthur Chaney: Thats it. Concentrate on the ball. Good. Good. Now you’re getting it.

(Then at the game Tom successfully catches the ball)

Arhur Chaney: Yeah. That’s the way!

(Another newspaper reads “Timberwolves Win Again”, then a paper boy delivers a newspaper, and Buddy comes out and takes the newspaper as Jackie looks for it. At the church court, Josh puts up new basket nets. He finished writing buddy’s name on the kennel)

Josh Framm: Go Buddy!

(Buddy volts as Josh comes off his skateboard, that night buddy climbs the flower arc, but the arc falls down. Later at a halftime show, buddy makes a basket and everyone cheers. More baskets were made as Arthur hi fives the team. Another newspaper reads “Timberwolves Headed For State Final” meanwhile Josh, Buddy, and the heroes head for the court looking happy)

(The scene changes where Jackie is in yard wiping up the dirt taking out the buried newspapers.)

Jackie Framm: Buddy.

Pikachu: Pi?

(Pikachu runs out on the front of the house and sparks fly from his cheeks)

Pikachu: (angrily) Pika!!!!

Ash Ketchum: Huh? What's the matter, Pikachu?

(Just then Norman arrived and Jackie gasped as she turned to see him.)

Norman Snively: Oh, hey. Sorry to disturb ya. Name's Norm Snively. I believe you've got my dog.

Jackie Framm: Huh? What?

Norman Snively: My dog. You know, Old-Old-(Looks at the blue paint) Old Blue. Uh-(Pulls out the poster) Uh, here. There's a picture of him. That's him and me. You see, I'm a clown by profession. 

Jackie Framm: Um.

Norman Snively: Maybe you'd like to see his papers.

Jackie Framm: Uh, uh.

(Josh, Buddy, Pooh Bear and friends come home as they stop and Jackie gasp and Norman sees Buddy)

Tigger: Say, what's going on here?

(Buddy growls at Norman angrily)

Pikachu: (angrily) Pika, Pika!!

Jackie Framm: Guys.

Josh Framm: (angrily) No!

(Norman escorts Buddy to the back of his truck)

Norman Snively: Blue, yes. Now, you're coming home with Daddy.

(Josh, Pooh Bear, and friends follow Norman as Jackie tries to calm them down.)

Josh Framm: No! You can't take him!

Fred Jones: You can't do this, Mister!

Pikachu: PIKA!!!!

Jackie Framm: Josh! Honey, Honey! Guys, there's nothing that we can do. He's got papers.

Josh Framm: He's my dog!

Jackie Framm: Please, sir, could we pay you?

Norman Snively: Look, lady, I just want my dog back, okay?

Josh Framm: He hates you! He hates you!

Pikachu: Pikachu!!!

Jackie Framm: Baby, it's okay.

Norman Snively: I'll tell you what, kids. (gives a card) On your next Birthday, me and the dog, we'll come out, we'll do a show for you cheap.

Brock: Forget it!

Misty: Not on your life!

Shaggy Rogers: Like, we don't trust you, mister.

Ash Ketchum: (angrily) Get out or I'll have my Pikachu shock you with his electric attacks! 

Jackie Framm: It's okay. It's okay. Baby, it's okay. (Josh runs into the house as Winnie the Pooh and his friends follow him) Josh!

(Josh goes to his bedroom and looks out his bedroom window)

Jackie Framm: Please, just talk to me! Please wait! 

(Norman drives away and Josh goes to his bed crying. Winnie the Pooh and his friends come in to comfort him)

Winnie the Pooh: We’re ever so sorry Josh.

Josh Framm: (nodding) I know. That guy took away my dog.

Pikachu: Pika Pikachu. 

(Pikachu climbs onto Josh's lap to cuddle him.) 

Ash Ketchum: We know just how you feel, Josh. That no-good Team Rocket trio always wants to take my Pikachu away from me.

Pikachu: Pika Pika. 

Shaggy Rogers: Yeah, if anybody takes Scooby-Doo away from me, It makes me so mad.

Scooby-Doo: I'd be really sad if I'm away from Shaggy. (leaning his head on Josh's shoulder)

Josh Framm: That always happened to you guys?

Ash Ketchum: Uh-huh.

Pikachu: Pika. 

Misty: You see, Team Rocket are the bad guys who steal Pokémon from other people. Ash and I first met them in Viridian City. 

(Josh returns to bed) 

(Later the next morning, Jackie walks up to get her newspaper and tries to look for Snively and Buddy later at the court, Josh leaves a cup of vanilla pudding hoping that buddy will be here and left Snively later in Josh’s room, his mother found a piece of Buddy’s clown costume and puts it on the top of the drawer. Later at night, Josh approaches the pudding cup untouched, hinting Buddy hasn’t escape from Snively)

Tigger: Buddy hasn’t touched it.

(At school, Josh gets something from his locker and sees an envelope and has Arthur Chaney’s card and reads “Josh, play from the Heart. Arthur Chaney”. Josh and his friends went wide eyed)

Ash Ketchum: We got to get buddy back.

== Rescuing Buddy/Josh sets Buddy Free ==
(Josh, Pooh Bear and his friends walk over to Norman Snively's house. Josh looks through the gate hole and sees Buddy chained)

Josh Framm: Psst, Buddy.

Ash Ketchum: Shh, we're all here to rescue you.

Pikachu: Pika Pika. 

(Buddy barks happily as Josh and Ash climb over the gate)

Norman Snively: (yelling) Would you shut up out there?!

(Josh, Pooh, Shaggy and Ash attempts to get the chain off Buddy)

Norman Snively: Hey! Get back here with my dog!

Ash Ketchum: Uh-oh, he's coming out! 

Norman Snively: You little darned kids! That's my dog!

Misty: Not anymore, he's not! You threw him away, remember? You said you didn't want him anymore!

(Then Josh pulls the chain taking with the water faucet as water splashed all over as Norman slips)

Ash Ketchum: Okay, Squirtle. Use water gun!

(Squirtle squirts water at Norman getting him all wet again)

Josh Framm: Nice job, Ash. (high-fives Ash)

Ash Ketchum: Well it helps when you have great Pokémon. Look out, here he comes.

(Norman sputters the water and he grunts in anger at Ash)

Norman Snively: (to Ash) You're gonna pay for this, you little brat!

Rabbit: Run! Run! We gotta run!

Ash Ketchum: Hurry.

Pikachu: Pika.

Norman Snively: Where are those bumbling idiots at? Jessie, James, Meowth! Stop those kids with that freaky yellow rat! 

Jessie: Don’t worry we got back up.

Jessie: Get back here, twerps. Arbok, Go!!!

James: Go ahead and get 'em, Victreebel!!!

(Pikachu jumps in front of Norman and sparks sputter from his cheeks)

Pikachu: (angrily) PIKA PIKA!

Norman Snively: Hey, get out of here, you little freak!

Ash Ketchum: Pikachu, hit him with Thunderbolt attack!

(Pikachu shocks Norman with his Thunderbolt which caused him to scream in pain. Norman keels over on the ground)

Ash Ketchum: Alright! You did it, Pikachu!

(They ran and jump over the fence then faucet gets stuck. Josh and Ash struggle to remove the faucet but Norman grabs the chain as they tugged the chain)

Norman Snively: We've got you, kids!

(The villains and heroes both struggle for the chain)

(Ash removes the chain from Buddy's collar which caused Norman to fall backwards)

Ash Ketchum: Come on, let's get out of here!

(Winnie the Pooh, Josh, Buddy and friends run away as Norman screams in anger. Norman opens the truck but it falls off and he jumps on it angrily. He starts his truck driving to chase after the heroes but he sets it to drive and crashes then a front bumper falls off)

Jafar: Put into reverse!

(He puts the truck into reverse but hits the back of the fence later Josh buddy and the heroes ran down the stairs)

Norman Snively: Hey. I’m gonna get you, you little!

(The heroes go to an island as they walk Josh puts his backpack down and gets down)

Josh Framm: Buddy? I know you're only a dog, so I expect you to understand I'm gonna say. You can't come home with me.

(Pooh Bear and friends are shocked upon hearing this)

Tigger: (sputters) What?!

Piglet: What?!

Winnie the Pooh: What?

Rabbit: What?!

Eeyore: Huh?

Ash Ketchum: What?!

Shaggy Rogers: What?!

Simba: What?

Tai: What?

Winnie the Pooh: Josh, how could you say that to Buddy?

Josh Framm: Because that guy'll just come and take him back. (to Buddy) You gotta understand that-- Well, Buddy, I found you. Somebody else is gonna find you too. I know they'll love you, so I'm gonna set you free. Here, I got you a little something. (pulls out the pudding from his backpack and tries to peel the seal) Stupid thing.

(Josh used his mouth to peel the seal off and Buddy eats the pudding.)

Josh Framm: I wish I could go back to before I ever knew you could make a basket. Maybe none of this would've ever happened. Go on, Buddy. You're free now. Go! Go on. (Buddy tries to follow Josh) Buddy, get! You have to go, Buddy. (tearfully) Please, Buddy, go. Get! Go! Get out of here! Don't you understand?!

(Pooh Bear and friends are saddened to see Josh yell at Buddy to leave.)

Josh Framm: Get! I don't want you anymore! Get! (pulls the basketball from his backpack) You wanna play, Buddy? Yeah, good boy. Come on, Buddy. Yeah, good boy. Just like we always do.

(Josh throws the ball in a far distance then Buddy runs to get the ball. Josh runs to the water taxi as Pooh Bear and friends follow Josh. As Josh, Pooh Bear and friends get on the water taxi. Pooh Bear and his friends are disappointed in Josh for hurting Buddy's feelings.)

Ash Ketchum: Josh, why would you let Buddy go after we rescued him from the mean guy?

Pooh Bear: Oh, this will never do.

Shaggy Rogers: Yeah, you've really hurt Buddy's feelings.

Josh Framm: (crying) I'm sorry, guys. It's just that I'm really scared that he might come back and take Buddy away again. If anything ever happens to Buddy I'll never forgive myself.

(Winnie the Pooh and his friends look at each other upon realizing how scared Josh is that he will lose Buddy)

Rabbit: Don't worry, Josh. We promise you nothing is going to happen to Buddy.

Ash Ketchum: We will not let that Norman take Buddy away again.

Josh Framm: (stops crying) You guys, sure?

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, we're sure.

(Josh and Ash hug each other)

Pikachu: Pika, Pikachu.

(Buddy follows Josh, Pooh and friends while swimming.) 

== The final basketball game/Injured players/Buddy joins the roster ==
Larry Willingham: You're going down tonight, water boy.

Ash Ketchum: Oh, no.

Shaggy Rogers: Not that Larry punk again.

Pikachu: Pika!

Josh Framm: Larry plays for the Warriors now?

Tom Stewart: Yeah. Hawkes told me, Larry’s dad moved the whole family to Spokane, just so he can play for the warriors.

Josh Framm: Buddy!

Ash Ketchum: What's the matter sirs? A fear that a dog is going beat your team out?

Warriors Coach and Buck Willingham: Put him in.

Announcer: Now entering the game K9.

Referee: Does he dribble?

Arthur Chaney: No, but he might drool a little bit.

(The score changes 83-82, as the crowd cheers)

Arthur: Yeah.

Eeyore: Hooray. How wonderful.

Ash Ketchum: He did it!

Pikachu: Pika!

Jackie Framm: That’s my son!

Buck Willingham: Oh for crying out loud!

Larry Willingham: (to Josh) Water boy! Nice shot.

Rabbit: (to Larry) Have you learned your lesson, young man?

Larry Willingham: Yes, sir.

(Larry leaves)

Ash Ketchum: I guess Larry learned his lesson.

Shaggy Rogers: Like, I guess so.

Winnie the Pooh: Guys we got another problem.

(Just then, Norman Snively arrives)

Norman Snively: I'll take my dog back now.

Rabbit: Oh, no.

Misty: Oh, not him, again.

Josh Framm: He doesn’t want to go with you.

Brock: Hold it right there, Mr. Snively! You said that you were going to send Buddy to the pound earlier, didn't you?! I saw you talking on the phone in your truck, saying how much of a horrible dog and a menace Buddy was. Judging by your conversation, you were calling the pound, am I right?

Norman Snively: That's none of your concern, boy.

Scrappy-Doo: Oh, it is our concern you big bully!

Misty: Yeah, we heard every single word you said.

Delia Ketchum: What's going on?

Jackie Framm: What’s the problem, here?

Norman Snively: There's no problem, Ms. Framm, Mrs. Ketchum. Your sons and their friends had their little fun. Now I think it's time to give back what's rightfully mine.

Jackie Framm: You know what, Mr. Snively. I believe my son and his friends are right. That dog doesn't like you. So, the answer is no.

Delia Ketchum: If I believe Josh, I believe Ash and his friends. Buddy is ''not'' going with you. And that's final! 

Norman Snively: (chuckling) You don't have any choice, ladies. I got papers. 

(However, his papers were ruined as he took noticed and looked menacingly to Josh, Pooh Bear, and friends) 

Norman Snively: I'll see you in court, you little brats. (to Pikachu) And you too, you little yellow freak!

(Scooby growls in anger and the sparks sputter from Pikachu's face)

== Court war with Norman/Ending ==
(The scene changes to the court room where Judge Cranfield bangs his gavel. Josh, Buddy, Jackie, Pooh Bear, and his friends and all of the other citizens of Fernfield are at)

Bailiff: Next case: Snively vs. Framm.

Judge Cranfield: Is this one of your high-profile divorce cases?

Bailiff: No, sir, custody.

Judge Cranfield: Custody, Oh, custody. (sees Buddy) Holy Toledo. What is that dog doing in the courthouse?

Bailiff: That's the, uh, child, sir.

Judge Cranfield: That's a pretty ugly kid.

(The people in the courtroom laughed)

Bailiff: It's a dog.

Judge Cranfield: What?

Bailiff: The case is about a custody of a dog.

Judge Cranfield: Oh, okay. (notices Pikachu, Togepi, Scooby-Doo, Scrappy-Doo, Simba, Nala, Timon, Pumbaa, Iago, The Digimon, Charlie, and Itchy) And why are there four more dogs, a yellow rodent, an egg creature, two lions, a meerkat, a warthog, a bird, and other strange creatures?

Bailiff: They're not part of the case. Just the Golden Retriever.

Judge Cranfield: All right, I'll take it. But we have to do this seriously. I will not have my courtroom turned into some kind of a circus.

(Norman comes in dressed in his clown costume. Pooh Bear and his friends glare at him angrily. Judge Cranfield is shocked upon seeing him)

Judge Cranfield: Who the heck are you?

Norman Snively: Mr. Norman F. Snively. your honor. I'm the plaintiff.

Judge Cranfield: You look like an idiot.

Norman Snively: Why, thank you, sir. You see, I'm a clown by profession. Happy Slappy's the name. Clown and the Hound. And begging your humblest pardon, I thought it might be helpful to your honor. If I appeared here today in the guise most pertinent to the cogent and unequivocal stating my case.

Judge Cranfield: Whatever, whatever. You go first, clown.

Norman Snively: Well, the fact is, your honor. (points to Buddy) That dog's my property, and I have papers to prove it.

Judge Cranfield: Well, would you show them to me, please?

Norman Snively: Well, actually, your honor, I had papers to prove it. (pulls out a plastic bag with a burnt paper) But those kids... (points to Josh and the heroes) those young hooligans and their freaky pets. Because of their irresponsible and criminal activity is responsible for what you see.

(The citizens shout in disapproval)

Judge Cranfield: Order! (bangs gavel) 

Buddy: (barks)

Norman Snively: You see, sir. When I lost my dog the first time, it broke me up real bad. 

(Winnie the Pooh and his friends looked at each other and shook their heads disapprovingly) 

Norman Snively: When I lost him the second time, it darn near killed me. Heck's bells, your honor, all I wanna do is get Old Blue back. So, it can be him and me together just like it always was.

Josh Framm: (angrily) Why? So you can abuse him some more?

Ash Ketchum: Yeah just forget it, Snively! That's not going to happen!

Pikachu: (angrily) Pikachu!

Shaggy Rogers: Like, yeah, we're not gonna let you hurt Buddy again!

Scooby-Doo: (growls) Yeah! 

???: You are never meant to be a dog owner! 

???: You're a disgrace!

Misty: You're disgusting!!

Tai Kamiya: You're despicable!!!

(Norman glares at them in annoyance)

Judge Cranfield: (sternly) That will be enough, children! (bangs gavel)

(Buddy barks.)

Norman Snively: I raised that dog from a puppy. I wouldn't harm a hair on his head!

Misty: (grunts) You're just a bully!

Pikachu: Pika!

Tigger: Yeah, Brunos, you're just making it up!

(The citizens moan as Judge Cranfield bangs his gavel.)

(Buddy barks.)

Judge Cranfield: Bailiff, what was that?

Bailiff: The dog, your honor.

Judge Cranfield: Oh. 

(The citizens murmured.)

Judge Cranfield: (bangs his gavel several times) Order! Silence!

(Buddy barks again.)

Josh Framm: It’s the gavel, sir.

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, Buddy is reacting to the gavel, your honor.

Pikachu: Pika. 

Shaggy Rogers: Like, the gavel is making him bark, because of the loud noises. 

Scooby-Doo: Yeah. Loud noises. 

Judge Cranfield: What? Speak up! 

(Buddy barks.) 

Judge Cranfield: Bailiff! 

Bailiff: You just said, "speak". 

(Buddy barks again.) 

Judge Cranfield: Order! (bangs gavel) 

(Buddy barks again.) 

Scrappy-Doo: Stop banging the gavel! 

Simba: (roars) Stop banging the gavel or Buddy will continue barking! 

Judge Cranfield: Speak! 

(Buddy barks again.) 

Judge Cranfield: Will somebody suppress the dog?! 

Josh Framm and Norman Snively: (to Buddy) Shh. 

Judge Cranfield: What a day. What a day. (drinks a glass of water and proceeds with the case) Now, then. (to Josh) Young man, have you any evidence that this man abused your dog? 

(Josh didn't respond.)

Judge Cranfield: Did you ever see him hit the dog?

Josh Framm: Well, no.

Judge Cranfield: Then how do you know that dog was abused?

Josh Framm: Because Buddy doesn't like him. Buddy's my friend. I know what he's feeling. So, he knows what I'm feeling.

(Norman rolls his eyes.)

Fred Jones: Objection! I have evidence right here, your honor recorded on tape!

(Fred Jones plays the conversation Norman Snively was saying as he was putting Buddy in the kennel on the tape recorder.)

Norman Snively: (voiceover via tape player) Come on! Get up here! (yelling) I warned you. You had your chance, you flea-bitten mongrel. You're going to the pound! Do you hear me?! You're going to the pound! I hate birthday parties! I hate kids! I hate being a clown... I can't stand birthday cakes!......Yeah, Dog Pound. I've got a vicious dog. No, it's a horrible dog! It's a menace! I'm bringing him in now! No, I don't know where you are. That's why I'm calling ya. What? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know where it is. I could be there in 15, 20 minutes. Yeah. Well, no, I got a map here in my truck.

Fred Jones: See?

(Norman growls in anger at Fred while the whole entire court gasps in shock.)

Jury Member: My word!

Misty: (angrily) That's not all, your honor! I present the evidence: the rolled-up newspaper Mr. Snively used to beat poor Buddy and the chain he used to tie the poor thing to the yard! 

(Misty presents the rolled-up newspaper and the chain.)

Norman Snively: That proves nothing!

Daphne Blake: Objection, your honor! Not only did he physically abuse the poor thing, he verbally abused him by yelling at him.

(Plays the tape recorder of Norman yelling at Buddy, telling him to shut up, calling him a flea-bitten mongrel and a mutt, and threatening to beat him with a rolled-up newspaper.) 

(Norman is speechless.) 

Misty: Well, Mr. Snively, what do you have to say for yourself now? 

Jackie Framm: They're telling the truth, your honor. 

Judge Cranfield: Who's that? 

Bailiff: The boy's mother. 

Judge Cranfield: Oh. (to Jackie) It's okay, you may sp-- You may address the court. 

Jackie Framm: When we first moved to this town, um, my son was very unhappy and then he found Buddy here, but before that, he met Pooh Bear and his friends and uh Buddy is giving him something to look forward to. 

Delia Ketchum: I'm Delia Ketchum, your honor. (gestures to Ash) Ash Ketchum's mom. Not only did Ash befriend Josh, but he also befriended Buddy and also Pikachu and they became good friends ever since 

Jackie Framm: Delia's right, your honor. Please, please, don't take Buddy away from my son. 

Judge Cranfield: Mrs. Framm, Mrs. Ketchum, as far as this court is concerned, the dog is property unless you have evidence-- 

Delia Ketchum: That is not what she meant! Besides, you've already heard and seen that Pooh, Ash, and their friends already showed evidence that (points to Norman) Snively here was being cruel to Buddy. 

Jackie Framm: Exactly, your honor, all these people here did not come here because of a piece of property, your honor. They came here because of Buddy. He's part of this town. He's part of the team, and he's part of our family now, your honor. 

Norman Snively: Well, he's part of my family, too! He's like a son to me! 

(The crowd booed and jeered) 

Norman Snively: Oh, shut up!

Misty: That's a lie! He treats him like dirt!

Iago: You horrid excuse of an owner!

Judge Cranfield: Order! (bangs gavel)

Buddy: (barks)

Judge Cranfield: Quiet! (bangs gavel)

Buddy: (barks again)

Timon: (annoyed) Again with the gavel!

Pumbaa: Buddy will continue barking if you keep banging the gavel!

(Just then, Arthur Chaney comes in)

Arthur Chaney: Why not let the dog choose your honor? They say a dog is man's best friend. If that's the case, shouldn't the dog be able to choose who he wants to be friends with?

Judge Cranfield: Who are you? Barnum or Bailey?

Arthur Chaney: Arthur Chaney, your honor.

Judge Cranfield: Mr. Chaney, do you real-- (stammers in shock) Arthur Chaney? New York Knicks? '56? (smiles) Huh. I was at that Celtics game where you did the turnaround jumper at the buzzer. I-I spilled water all over my wife. 

(Arthur Chaney, Josh, Pooh, and everyone else in the courtroom started laughing) 

Bailiff: Your honor.

Judge Cranfield: Yeah? (realizes) Oh yes, yes, yes. (clears throat) (bangs gavel)

Buddy: (barks)

Judge Cranfield: Mr. Chaney. (gestures for him to proceed)

Arthur Chaney: Well, I've been thinking. Uh... this dog's what? Three? Four years old? That makes him an adult in our years. I say let Buddy decide.

(Pooh, Ash, Shaggy, and the heroes smiled with glee after hearing the idea as the crowd murmurs and Norman lifts his head up with wide eyes after hearing the idea, thinking it would be the only chance for him to get Buddy back)

Judge Cranfield: Mr. Chaney, during my 40 years on the bench, I've heard a lot of lamebrain cockamamie proposals. But this one... (smiles) I like.

(Later, everyone was outside)

Judge Cranfield: Move back! Everybody! Come along, now! Way back!

(Norman and Josh were standing on opposite directions while the heroes stood with Josh)

Judge Cranfield: Gentlemen! Stay on your spots! If you take one single step towards that dog, you’ll lose. You understand?

(The bailiff takes the leash off Buddy)

Judge Cranfield: Now. Begin calling the dog!

Norman Snively: Old Blue. Come to Daddy.

Josh Framm: Buddy. Come on, Buddy. Buddy come on.

Pooh Bear: Over here, Buddy.

(Josh and Snively keep calling to Buddy just as Buddy was walking towards Josh until)

Norman Snively: Blue hey! Come on Blue! Look what daddy’s got for you. 

(He takes out the newspaper he uses to beat Buddy with and hits his hand on it)

(Buddy goes up to Norman)

Ash Ketchum: Buddy, don't go near him.

Norman Snively: That's it.

Josh Framm: Buddy, no!

Shaggy Rogers: Like, get away from him, Buddy!

Norman Snively: (snaps) Get over here! (he hits the newspaper again)

(Buddy, having enough of his abuse, attacks him by lunging at him, biting his hand)

Norman Snively: (holding his hand) Ahhhh!

(Josh, Pooh, Ash, and the heroes were surprised and impressed by Buddy's actions)

Norman Snively: What are you doing?!

(Buddy rips up the newspaper)

Norman Snively: Stupid dog! 

(Buddy runs up to Josh and the heroes)

Norman Snively: Wait, where are you going?

Josh Framm: Yeah, come on, Buddy.

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, Buddy!

(Everyone cheered as Norman moans)

Judge Cranfield: By the power's vested in me, I award custody of the dog to Josh Framm. (bangs gavel) Case closed. (crowd cheers) Thank goodness. 

Norman Snively: You can't do this! That dog is my dog! I got pictures of that dog!

Ash Ketchum: Not anymore, he's not, Snively!

Shaggy Rogers: Buddy already made up his decision and that's that!

Judge Cranfield: (annoyed) Will somebody suppress that clown?!

Officer Jenny: We'll take it from here, your honor. (to her fellow officers) Book him, boys!

Brock: (lovestruck) Oh, Officer Jenny... she's got my heart under house arrest! She could lock me up and throw away the key...

(Misty grabs Brock's ear again)

Misty: I'd better haul you off before she does!

Brock: Ow! (×4) Not, the ear!!!

(The officers restrain Norman quickly as he tried one last attempt at getting Buddy back only to fail as the cops takes him away as he continues to protest. Winnie the Pooh and friends wave to Norman while smirking at him)

Ash Ketchum: So long.

(Misty sticks her tongue out at him)

Piglet: (sighs happily) I'm so glad it's over.

Scooby-Doo: Yeah, Buddy now belongs to Josh.

Tigger: I hope that Snively creep will receive a life term in prison without parole.

Rabbit: Yes, and there will be no probation for him.

Pikachu: Pika, Pikachu. 

Officer Jenny: No need to worry folks. Mr. Snively won't have probation because of his actions towards Buddy. So now he'll be going to Arkham Asylum in Gotham City, where a sick man like him belongs. 

Brock: Fine with us. Arkham Asylum is the right place for that creep.  

Simba: That's right. As long as Norman is locked up, he won't be bothering or hurting Buddy, anymore. 

Winnie the Pooh: I am so happy for Buddy. 

Shaggy Rogers: Like, me too. 

Ash Ketchum: Nothing or nobody is going to hurt Buddy ever again. (to Josh) And, Josh nothing or nobody is going to make you miserable ever again. 

Josh Framm: Yeah, you guys really made me happy since my mom, my little sister and I moved here. You're also my very first friends. And, Ash, you’re like a brother I never had. 

(Josh and Ash smile warmly and hug each other, then Josh hugs Winnie the Pooh and the others.) 

(The camera fades to black) 

Josh Framm: (voiceover) Hey, guys. You wanna play? 

Ash Ketchum Sure, Josh. 

Pikachu: Pika! 

Shaggy Rogers: Like, we love to. 

Josh Framm: Yeah, just like we always do. 

(Josh, Buddy, Winnie the Pooh and friends play basketball together)
