== Lack of Education/Winter == (The heroes are saddened over Copper's departure.) Ash Ketchum: He’s gone Misty: We were too late. (Big Mama arrived) Big Mama: Tod. Kids? What are you doin' over here? Littlefoot: Tod just wanted to say goodbye to Copper without getting caught. Tod: Yeah. But I’m too late. Big Mama: Well what did you plan to do if you kids ran into old Chief? Tod (confident): Aw Chief. I can outfox that dumb old dog any time. Ash Ketchum: Yeah. And remember what my mom said? If Mr. Slade comes near us again, she’s gonna… Big Mama (preachy): Kids! Now hold it just one minute! Didn't you learn anything yesterday? Now you listen good, darlings. Because it's either education or elimination! SpongeBob SquarePants: What’s that supposed to mean? Big Mama: Now if you're so foxy and old Chief's so dumb, then why does the hound get the fox and kids on the run? Because he's got the hunter, and the hunter's got the gun. Kablam! Elimination. Lack of Education. Patrick Star: I don’t get it. Big Mama: If you pal around with that Copper hound, you'll wind up hangin' on the wall. Keep your nose to the wind, and you'll keep your skin. ‘Cause you won't be home when the hunter comes to call! Tod: Oh Big Mama. I know Copper would never track me down. Cera: Yeah, Copper's our friend! Big Mama: Ho ho! Your best friend! Now Copper's gonna do what he's been told. Suppose to chase a little fox into an old foxhole. Then along comes a hunter with a buckshot load. . . Boomer: (imitates carrying a gun) Ka-ka-kablam! (Dinky acts out being shot) Big Mama: Elimination! Dinky: (falls to the ground) Lack of Education. Big Mama (sternly): You'd better believe it, kids. Yes sirree. Tod: You mean Copper's gonna be my enemy?! Pikachu: Pika, Pikachu. Ash Ketchum: What is it, Pikachu? Dinky: I think Pikachu is trying to tell us something, Ash. (Pikachu leads the heroes, Dinky and Boomer to the shed.) Pikachu: (points at shed) Pika. Pika-pika-pikachu. Petrie: What that? Dinky: We were afraid you guys would find that. Littlefoot: What is it? Dinky: Hey kid! You guys better step over here and take a good look. (Dinky and Boomer fly over to the shed and push it open. Inside are many different kinds of fur skins. A look of horror forms on Tod's face.) Tod: Why...why, that's awful. Those poor things. Big Mama: (hugging Tod) I'm sorry, Tod. Honey, Copper's gonna come back a trained hunting dog. A real killer. Tod: Oh, no, not my friend Copper. He won't ever change. Big Mama: I hope you're right, Tod. Littlefoot: Big Mama, if Tod can't play with Copper anymore, who's he supposed to play with now? Ash Ketchum: Yeah, they are no other foxes around here to play with Tod. Big Mama: Yes, but you're Tod's friends. Tod: And Copper and I will keep on being friends forever. Um, won't we, Big Mama? Big Mama: Darling, forever is a long, long time and time, has a way of changing things. [Tod looks back at the barrels. The leaves start to fall. The camera moves around the farm, The season slowly changes to hard winter] [The camera moves in on a patch of snow, Squeeks slowly crawls out of the snow. A cold wind blows, and he starts to shiver. He then looks over and spots the widow's house. He crawls in its direction] [The camera moves over to a makeshift scarecrow, Dinky and Boomer are inside the scarecrow's coat, freezing] Dinky (shivers): Jiminy. It sure turned cold! Boomer: I'm freezin' my b-b-b. . . Dinky: Hey! (Sees Squeeks) It's that fuzzy worm! Let's get him. Charge! Squeeks: (sees them coming) Aah! (Squeeks tries to dive into a snow bank, but hits his head on something. He dives in again and succeeds. Dinky and Boomer dive in after him) Boomer (from inside the snow): Hey Dinky! Dinky quick! Over here! (Boomer lifts his head out of the snow. Something is in his beak) Boomer: I got him! I got him! (He pulls out something wrapped in snow. The snow falls away. It's Dinky.) Dinky: Do I look like a worm? (Points) That's who we're after! (Squeeks crawls up the door and disappears into the keyhole.) Dinky: Come on! (They fly up to the keyhole and perch on a shovel. Dinky peers inside. Squeeks is warming himself by the stove.) Dinky (glowered): Look at that little creep. Warm and cozy by the fire. Boomer: Let me take a look! (Boomer looks into the keyhole.) Boomer: Now how do you like that g-g-guy?! Snug as a bug! (Squeeks pulls a sock over his body and lies down in a plant pot.) Boomer (snorts): While we're out here freezin' our b-b-beaks off! Dinky: Brr. Well yakin' and shiverin' ain't gettin' us anywhere. We'll get that no good worm when we come back! (Dinky takes off.) Boomer: Ooh sh-sh-shucks! (Boomer flies off too. They fly over to Big Mama's tree.) Dinky: So long, Big Mama. Boomer: Yeah. We're goin' south for the winter. Big Mama (fondly): Goodbye boys! See you next spring! (As Dinky and Boomer fly south for the winter, snow keeps on falling. A depressed Tod is looking out the window and misses Copper. A sympathetic Misty pets and comforts the sad little fox. Meanwhile, inside Amos' house, everything is dark and quiet. But the wintry wind pushes the window open, knocking over a picture of Amos and Chief, breaking the frame. However, there's another paper in back of the picture. The wind picks it up and blows the paper out of the broken picture frame. The paper is then blown out through the window and is blown into the air.) SpongeBob SquarePants: (sighs) That old man just doesn't understand it, Littlefoot. All we were doing was just playing with Copper. But he thinks it's a bad thing. Littlefoot: Yeah, I know, Spongebob. (sighs) He just wants to take anything we want to do to have fun with Copper and-and-and-and smoosh it. (Just then, the paper that was blown out from Amos' house flew into Ash's face.) Ash Ketchum: (removes the paper off his face) Wha-What's this? (looks at the paper and sees it as an old photo of Amos standing with several people) Hey, isn't that Mr. Slade? Littlefoot: Looks, like it, but who are these other people with him? Ash Ketchum: I-I don't know. (hides the photo) Let's keep it hidden and maybe ask him when the time is right. (scene fades to montages of Amos, Chief and Copper’s winter hunt)
