Editing Littlefoot's Adventures of A Bug's Life/Transcript (section)

==You're Not Warriors/Flik is banished/Littlefoot and his friends ditch Atta and leave Ant Island==

* Princess Atta: You lied, Flik. You lied to her. You lied to the colony! You lied to me! And like an idiot, I believed you.
* Flik: But I... I was just afraid that if you knew I'd gotten circus bugs... (sighs sadly) I just wanted to make a difference.
* Princess Atta: I want you to leave, Flik. And this time, don't come back.

(Dot Gasps)

(Aphid Whimpers)

(Flik then walks away with the circus bugs as They got into the circus wagon. The heroes are furious with Atta for banishing Flik and the troupe.)

* Littlefoot: What have you done, Princess Atta?!
* Princess Jasmine: I cannot believe you had the nerve to banish him and the troupe after all they've done for you!
* King Louie: Flik trusted you, and this is how you repay him?!
* Princess Atta: But he was the one who lied to us about the circus troupe being warriors! He should've been honest with us from the start! It's his own fault! It's what he gets when he disrespects the colony! When he-!
* Ash Ketchum: (rightfully interrupts Atta) You expect us to believe that?!
* Daphne Blake: He may have lied about the circus troupe being warriors, but you and the council weren't being very honest with him either! You lied to him because you wanted to keep him off your backs! As a princess, you should be supporting Flik's ideas and allow him to help the colony, not push him away and treat them like a joke!
* Aladdin: And Atta, you cannot be princess or queen if you and the colony keep slaving away to Hopper like this!
* Abu: (angrily screeching in Flik's defense)
* Iago: Yeah, what he said!
* Aladar: (to Mr. Soil, Dr. Flora, Thorny, and Cornelius) And as for you guys, you're no better than Atta herself. If there's one thing she's messed up more than being a princess, it's you guys being a royal council too!
* Baylene: (to the ant queen) And you, Your Majesty! You and the colony have a weapon that will give you an advantage against the grasshoppers, don't you?! And yet how dare you waste that good fortune by simply criticizing the one who came up with that brilliant idea in the first place! Oh, shame on you! Shame on you! Shame on you!
* Mr. Soil: I beg your pardon?!
* Dr. Flora: We were only doing what was best for the colony!
* Neera: By ridiculing Flik for his creative and optimistic ideas?! How is that doing what's best for the colony?!
* Thorny: All he's ever done was disrespect our customs and cause so much trouble for us!
* Princess Eilonwy: Well, we'd do the same if we were in his position! And besides which, Atta, if it hadn't been for Flik, your sister, Dot, would have been killed by one of Hopper's minions or would have most likely been eaten by a bird during the summer! You and the colony are nothing without him around!
* Fflewddur Fflam: Most definitely, Eilonwy. And, Princess Atta, with an obnoxious attitude like that, we're afraid you, the council, and your mother are shaping up those ants to be a very pathetic colony indeed!

(Atta, the ant queen, the ant council, and the colony were deeply horrified at hearing those words. Littlefoot and the gang all turn their backs on Atta and the ant colony.)

* Littlefoot: Come on, guys, we're leaving.
* Princess Atta: Hey, w-where are you all going?
* Ash Ketchum: Catching up with Flik.
* Cera: Apparently, we aren't allowed to help a bunch of weak, cowardly ants who's just too afraid to fight a bunch of scrawny grasshoppers.
* Chomper: I'm afraid not, Cera.
* Princess Atta: So, that's it?! You're turning your backs on me and the whole colony because of my decision to banish Flik?! Okay, fine! Go ahead and join him if that's what you want! None of us wants to listen to a lying, traitorous loser who puts himself before the rest of the colony!
* Brock: No, Atta! You're wrong! Flik is not putting the colony at risk here!
* Misty: The only ant who's putting the whole colony in danger is ''you!''
* Ant Colony: (gasps in horror)
* Princess Atta: (horrified; whispers) What?!
* Taran: You're no princess! You're just a-a miserable coward who'd rather let herself and the colony be slaves to the evil grasshoppers instead of living a free life!

(Stunned silence)

* Grandpa Longneck: Everyone, I think we've said enough. We should go now.
* Bagheera: Agreed. Oh, that does it. We've had it, Atta! From now on, you and the colony are on your own. ALONE!!!

(Littlefoot and the gang nod their heads in agreement.)

* Grandma Longneck: And Atta, before we go, let us ask you one question: by banishing Flik and our new friends just because they wanted to make things better for you, what if you just gave Hopper...exactly what he wanted?

(Hearing those words left Princess Atta, the ant queen and the whole colony confused. Littlefoot and his friends give Atta, the queen, and the colony one final disappointed glace before taking their leave. But several questions are left wondering for Atta: Is she and the colony nothing but a bunch of weak, cowardly wimps who are afraid to fight back? Was banishing Flik and the circus troupe really a terrible mistake on Atta's part? Has she completely failed to take on the royal responsibilities by putting herself, her mother, her sister and the whole colony in danger?)

* P.T. Flea: Tough crowd. Yee-haw!

(And so, the Heroes went off to follow P.T. Flea's wagon, all except for Petrie who looked at Dot, feeling sorry for her. So, he had no other choice but to stay with her, the Queen, Atta, and the rest of the Colony)

(Petrie then flies over to Littlefoot for a moment)

* Petrie: Um, Littlefoot. Me kinda feel sorry for Dot. But I think Princess Atta needs a little talk while you guys go. So, Me just gonna stay with them.
* Littlefoot: Why, Petrie?
* Petrie: Because Me think they need an extra helping hand with the food gathering while you guys go catch up with Flik.
* Littlefoot: But Petrie, we gotta- (sighs) Well, if that's what you wanna do, (sighs) okay. And if Anything happens, just try to find us. Okay?
* Petrie: Petrie promise.
* (Littlefoot then continues on to catch up with the group)

* Princess Atta: (shocked and confused with our heroes' words; whispers) Me? A coward?

(Dot tries to follow, but the queen grabs her, not wanting her to let Flik return to the anthill.)

* Dot: (feeling bad) Flik!
* Petrie: Me sorry, Dot. But me sure Flik will be fine. Me hope...

(The Camera pans over to the tree with the last leaf falling towards the screen, cutting to black)
