==Plot== Crime boss Edward "King" Barlowe dies and in his will leaves his arch-rival, the Joker, a large fortune of $250 million. The Joker, accompanied by his good pal Negaduck, immediately starts spending his new fortune. Ways he spends it include bribing doctors and officials to declare him legally sane, buying a themed mansion, and even hiring a replacement for his old beau Harley Quinn, much to her chagrin. While the Joker revels in his supposed new fortune, the Bat-Family watches him closely, as Batman and Darkwing believe that the Clown Prince of Crime and his equally chaotic won't give up crime so easily. Eventually, however, Joker and Negaduck find out that the a bulk of the money Barlowe sent them was fake, leaving them broke since he spent the only real money that was given to them, a sum of $100,000,000. To make matters worse, the IRS is asking him to pay the inheritance tax or risk going to federal prison for tax evasion, and Joker and Negaduck can't admit that Barlowe pulled a fast one on them or else he'll become the laughingstocks of the criminal underworld. To reclaim their fortune, the duo decide to commit crimes without their signature gimmicks so that Batman and Darkwing cannot find them while their attorneys act as decoys at the Iceberg Lounge to avoid attracting unnecessary attention. Batman catches on, however, and teams up with Darkwing Duck to stop Joker and Negaduck just as they're intercepting a transfer convoy on a ferry, which then leads to Joker and Negaduck being arrested once again. The two are then sent to Arkham, where the Joker is welcomed by an angry Harley Quinn, who beats him up for attempting to replace her.
