Thomas: Have you ever wondered why Henry choose to move from Tidmouth Sheds to Vicarstown? Well, here what happens how it went and his reason for doing it. (blows whistle) All aboard for a big adventure!

[Steam clouds the screen then moves away as the main episode begins]

Narrator: Henry Moves Out.

[Henry is puffing along]

Narrator: Henry the green engine has been living on the Island of Sodor for many years. He's a very strong engine who carries passengers and pull good trains. He can a bit of a worrier but he's very kind to be Really Useful. Ever since he first came to Sodor, he has been living in his home at Tidmouth Sheds with Thomas, Gordon, Edward, James, Percy and Emily.

Henry: I'm back.

Steam Team: Hello, Henry.

Narrator: Henry likes being with his friends and being Really Useful. But a while ago, Edward move out of Tidmouth Sheds to Wellsworth to be with Philip at his own branch line and Nia have moved to Sodor after Thomas' big world adventure.

Henry: Hmmm.

Narrator: One night, Henry is collecting the Flying Kipper from Brendam Docks as usual. He had been thinking about something for a while now. He had missed Edward a little but over the past while since he moved to Wellsworth, he remember seeing Edward looking very happy being closer to his branch line and still manages to see his old friends. While he was happy to welcome Nia to Tidmouth Sheds, Henry had started to think that after so many years spend at Tidmouth Sheds, maybe he could have a little change himself and he decided to ask The Fat Controller about it as soon as he got the chance.

Henry: Hmm.

Narrator: At Kellstrope station, Henry met Percy on his mail run.

Henry: Hi, Percy.

Percy: Hello, Henry. How are you tonight?

Henry: I'm fine. I've been thinking about Edward leaving the sheds and well.....

Percy: Yes?

Henry: I've decided to have a little change and move from Tidmouth to Vicarstown.

Percy: What?! But Henry, all your friends are at Tidmouth Sheds.

Narrator: Henry explain his reason to Percy who felt sad by his choice but smiled, understanding it.

Henry: It's my choice, Percy. And I'd like to see if The Fat Controller would like the idea.

Percy: Well, Gordon's not going to like it but if it's your decision, Henry, then I respect it.

Henry: Thank you, Percy. You're a good friend.

Percy: Naturally.

[Henry puffs off on his way. Later]

Narrator: After Henry finishes his run, he went to see The Fat Controller at Knapford.

Henry: [whistles] Sir? Sir?

The Fat Controller: Oh. Hello, Henry. I see you've done well with The Flying Kipper.

Henry: Yes, sir. But I wanted to ask you something.

The Fat Controller: What is it, Henry?

Henry: Well, sir, I've been thinking. Eve since Edward left Tidmouth Sheds, we've all missed him. But I've noticed that he's very happy being closer to Wellsworth and having Philip as a new shed mate. I think he was smart to take a little change in life after being with us for so long and it made me think. Would you mind if I moved out of Tidmouth Sheds too?

Narrator: The Fat Controller was surprised.

The Fat Controller: But why, Henry? Don't you like it there?

Henry: I do, sir but after seeing how happy Edward is being closer to his branch line, I thought that I'd be happier moving to Vicarstown Sheds with Rosie since I sometimes take trains to the Mainland and bring other trains back from there too. Just like Edward is closer to his branch line now, and since Vicarstown is right near the border between Sodor and the Mainland, I thought that would put me much closer to my work too. What do you think?

Narrator: The Fat Controller thought and thought.

The Fat Controller: Well, Henry, that does sound really useful. If you wish to move to Vicarstown and be closer to your Mainland duties, that's fine by me.

Henry: Yes! Thank you so much, sir!

Narrator: And so Henry hurry off to spend one last night at Tidmouth Sheds.

[He arrives at Tidmouth Sheds]

Narrator: All the engines are still asleep as Henry backed into his berth. He took a good look at all the other engines, Thomas, Percy, Gordon, James, Emily and Nia. They had been all great friends to him over the years and even though he was going away now, he knew he'd still see them a lot too, just like Edward.

Henry: [whispering] I'm going to miss you all.

[He went to sleep. The next morning]

Narrator: The next morning, Henry set out to do his work before moving to Vicarstown. He told the other engines about his idea and although they're sad to hear it, they accept his choice but when Henry told Gordon who was complaining about Edward out of Tidmouth Sheds and being rude to Nia, he got a nasty shock.

Gordon: What?!

[It echoes]

Gordon: When did this happen?! Nobody told me!

Narrator: While Gordon grew upset about the news, Henry carried on with his work.

Henry: Maybe I should've waited until Gordon got used to all the changes to tell him.

Narrator: Henry came to a junction. Edward was there after delivering his trucks to the docks.

Edward: Hello, Henry. Gordon told me that you're moving to Vicarstown.

Henry: Yes and he's very upset about it.

Edward: Oh, really? He said to me that The Fat Controller send you away.

Henry: I actually asked him about it.

Edward: Really? Why do you want to move to Vicarstown?

Henry: Well, I saw how happy you were being closer to Wellsworth and I thought it would be a nice change for me to move to Vicarstown. To be closer to my duties, bring trains to the mainland.

Edward: Well, since you ask him yourself, it does make sense. Gordon even offered me to come back to Tidmouth Sheds after you left but I'm told him I'm perfectly happy at Wellsworth.

Henry: He's really not comfortable with this.

Edward: Yes. He went back to the sheds in a huff when The Fat Controller scold him off. I must say, that was really great of you to ask The Fat Controller if you can move from Tidmouth. Guess I've inspired you, huh?

Henry: Yes. I will miss sleeping at Tidmouth with my friends but like you said, I'II see them all the time.

Edward: [chuckles] Very true, Henry. Very true. I hope that Gordon calms down soon.

Henry: Just give him time, Edward.

Edward: I know. That was great of you to ask The Fat Controller if you can move. I wish you the best of luck.

Henry: Thank you, Edward.

[He set off]

Narrator: Henry carries on with his work, excited about moving to Vicarstown but worried about Gordon's tantrum.

Henry: Hmm. I do hope Gordon calms down and accept my choice as well as Edward's. Who knows how long will that last?

[He blows up steam, starting an fantasy sequence. Thomas puffs along]

Gordon: Perhaps I can be on branch lines from now on instead of the main line!

Thomas: But... Gordon! You're too big!

[Paxton rolls along til he saw Gordon at a diesel fueling station]

Paxton: Gordon?

Gordon: I'm gonna fill up with diesel for a change.

Paxton: Really? I thought that steam engines filled up with steam.

[Henry whistles hello]

Gordon: Hmph!

Henry: Gordon?

Gordon: As if I have anything to say to you! You're not at Tidmouth anymore so that doesn't mean we're friends.

Henry: (gasps)

[Two years pass]

Henry: [whistles]

Gordon: You betrayed us all.

Henry: Gordon, I didn't betray you! I just thought....

Gordon: We're the Three Railway Engines and we have to stick together at Tidmouth Sheds where we belong.

Henry: No, Gordon! I've made my mind up! I'm staying at Vicarstown and that's that! Edward made his choice as well!

Gordon: Fine! If that's how it's going to be then, our friendship is cancelled and you're banished from the Steam Team, forever!

[He storms off]

Henry: [whimpers]

[He starts to tear up]

[The fantasy ends]

Henry: [sniffs] This is all my fault.

[He puffs on]

Narrator: Later as evening fell, Henry puff into Knapford station yard where he found Thomas, Percy, Edward, James, Toby, Emily and Nia gathered around.

Thomas: We've all come to say goodbye, Henry.

Henry: Oh, did you all now? This is unexpected.

Emily: Yes, we're all going to miss you.

James: Are you sure you want to move to Vicarstown, Henry?

Henry: I was but now.... [sniffs] I'm not sure if choosing to do so was the right thing to do.

Toby: What's wrong, Henry?

Henry: Gordon's been upset about me and Edward moving out lately. And I'm starting to think it's my fault he's acting this way. [sobbing]

Percy: Oh, don't cry, Henry.

Nia: I know how hard change is.

Henry: [sniffs] Really?

Nia: Everything in my life has changed ever since I moved here. All my old friends are much farther away than you and Edward are going to be from Tidmouth Sheds.

Henry: Your point?

Nia: My old friends are still my friends. And you, Edward and Gordon lives here on the same railway on the same island, you can still see each other all the time. I'II talk to Gordon and get him to understand change and your choices.

Henry: [sniffs] Thank you, Nia. You're right. I will miss being with you all at Tidmouth Sheds but like Edward said, we'II see each other all the time.

[He smiles]

Henry: But who's gotta take my berth at Tidmouth Sheds?

Thomas: Who knows? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Nia: The Fat Controller told me that he's getting a new engine to come to Sodor to take Henry's berth.

Henry: Wow! I can't wait to see what this new engine looks like.

Nia: He told me it's a female.

Henry: I hope she'll be strong too.

Percy: When will she come, Nia?

Nia: I believe she'II arrived the day after tomorrow.

Thomas: Nice.

Toby: Good luck with your new home and being closer to your work.

Henry: Thank you, everyone.

[He puffs off with engines whistling]

Narrator: Henry puff happily all the way to Vicarstown. When he got to the sheds, Rosie is there. She'd heard about Henry moving and was very excited.

Rosie: I can't wait to spend more time together, Henry.

Henry: Hello, Rosie. How are you with your job as a station pilot here?

Rosie: It's going great. But it does get lonely sleeping here every night. I'm glad you're moving here, Henry. I could use a shed mate for company.

Henry: Well, glad I could make it. I can use some new company too.

Rosie: [giggles]

Narrator: Henry soon settled into his new home at Vicarstown Sheds. Like Edward, he is much closer to his work, bringing trains to the Mainland and bring new ones back over to Sodor. It also help with his Flying Kipper runs which means he won't have to go all the way back to Tidmouth Sheds after it's done every night. Henry even got to meet Rebecca who arrived on Sodor and stay in his former berth at Tidmouth Sheds.

Rebecca: So you're Henry, I've been hearing so much about.

Henry: That's me. It's nice to meet you, Rebecca. How is your first day on Sodor and you sleeping in my place at Tidmouth?

Rebecca: It's great. I did cause some confusion without delay since I arrived too early at stations but I soon get the hang of the timetable with the express.

Henry: [chuckles] I'm sure you will.

Narrator: After Nia comfort him and Rebecca stood up during Flying Scotsman's brotherly teasing, Gordon apologizes to Henry and Edward.

Gordon: I'm very sorry. I let my anger cloud my judgement. I don't know what came over me. Do you supposed that we could just pretend it never happened and start over?

Edward: Do you finally understand our choices of moving closer to our work?

Gordon: Yes, Edward. I do. Nia and Rebecca both helped me. I realize now that you're still on Sodor even if you moved to another parts of the railway, not a new country.

Edward and Henry: [chuckles]

Henry: Well, we're glad you calm down and finally accept our choices but we'II still see each other all the time.

Edward: Yeah. Besides, you show that you're really do care about the two of us despite your rudeness at times.

Gordon: I guess that's true. But don't assume that it means I'm soft which of course I'm not. (felt embarrassed)

Henry and Edward: [laughs]

Edward: Whatever you say, Gordon, though Thomas and the others already know by now.

Henry: Yeah. But thank you and I'm glad we're still friends.

Gordon: As am I, you two. As am I.

Narrator: Henry does miss sleeping at Tidmouth Sheds with his friends but he knows that he'II still see his friends all the time and that makes him very happy indeed.

Henry: [laughs]

[The end. At Vicarstown, Thomas puff in]

Thomas: Do you ever decided to move to a new home from the one that you've lived for years?

[A flashback of A Shed For Edward starts playing]

Thomas: After Edward stays at Wellsworth Sheds with Philip after James' crash, he decided to move there to be with Philip and closer to his branch line.

[A flashback of the main episode plays]

Thomas: Henry decided to move to Vicarstown because he wants to be closer to his work, bringing goods trains to the Mainland and back again and he saw how happy Edward was.

[The flashback ends]

Thomas: It can be sad to move to a new home from the one you know so much but if you still get to see your old friends all the time, you'II feel a lot happier there.

[A guard's whistle blows]

Clarabel: Come on, Thomas.

Annie: It's time to go.

Thomas: See you next time. (whistles)

[He puffs off as the episode ends]
