Hades (Descendants)
Hades is a major antagonist in the Descendants franchise.

He is the former ruler of the Underworld, the most powerful villain residing on the Isle of The Lost, the husband of Maleficent and the father of Mal.
He was portrayed by Cheyenne Jackson.
Trivia edit
- Unlike his original counterpart, he has a more humanoid appearance, has his hair simply varying shades of blue in color as opposed to literal flames, and owns a weapon for his own to wield.
- Hades' outfit in Descendants 3 is a possible reference to another villain in the series, Zevon with his bluish color scheme and black leather trench coat being somewhat reminiscent of Zevon's outfit and signature color of teal.
- Hades’ relationship with Maleficent may be a reference to the House of Mouse episode, “Halloween With Hades”, in which he is smitten with her asks Mickey for advice in order to impress her.
