Griffin (Winx Club Season 1-6)

Headmistress Griffin is the headmistress (or "headwitchstress") of Cloud Tower as well as a professor there, a member of the Company of Light, and a considerably powerful witch. Although she started off as somewhat of an antagonist, indirectly encouraging the Trix in their power-struggle against the Winx, Griffin was eventually revealed to be a woman of sound moral principles, and aided the Winx numerous times in their fight against the forces of evil. Griffin is one of the three points of magic, the others being Faragonda and Saladin.

Trivia

Griffin, Faragonda, and Saladin are old friends and former students of Zordon of Eltar, as well as old friends with the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull, Dimitria, Yen Sid, the Blue Fairy, Lerigot, the Fairy Godmother, and Light Hope.
Griffin is rivals and enemies with witch-like villainesses such as: Maleficent, Rita Repulsa (till she was purified and became the Mystic Mother), Shadow Weaver, Evil-Lyn, Mistress 9, Queen Narissa, and Magica De Spell.
She will be mentioned in Bloom Meets The Princess and the Frog where it's revealed that Griffin is old rivals and enemies to Dr. Facilier, as he plotted to take control of Cloud Tower from her and then finish her off for good.
Griffin will make a cameo appearance with Faragonda and Saladin in Bloom Meets Pinocchio, where they will help Bloom and her friends rescue the transformed donkey boys from Pleasure Island from the Coachman and Dr. Facilier.
