Emperor Zurg (Buzz Lightyear of Star Command)

The Evil Emperor Zurg (Ruler of Planet Z, Emperor of the Zurg Empire, sworn enemy of the Galactic Alliance, and archenemy to Buzz Lightyear)

Zurg, better known as the Evil Emperor Zurg, is the main antagonist of the television series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and its 2000 film Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins.

He is the TV counterpart of the Evil Emperor Zurg toys in the Toy Story franchise.

He was voiced by Wayne Knight, who also played The Penguin in Harley Quinn, Al McWhiggin in Toy Story 2, Krudsky in Scooby-Doo! and The Goblin King, Dennis Nedry in Jurassic Park, Mr. Blik in Catscratch, Dojo in Xiaolin Showdown, and Newman in Seinfeld. In the Disney Park attraction "Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin", he was voiced by Frank Welker, who was best known for voicing several incarnations of Megatron in the Transformers franchise and Doctor Claw in the 1983-1986 Inspector Gadget cartoon

Trivia

• Zurg and his empire are rivals with King Mondo and his Machine Empire, Dark Laser and his army, along with Hordak and his Evil Horde forces on Etheria, though he doesn't go into conflict with him out of fear of the wrath of Hordak's superior, Horde Prime.
• The only villains that Zurg fears most are Horde Prime, Aku, Darkseid, and Dark Specter.
• Zurg became Pooh's enemy in Pooh's Adventures of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins.
• Zurg returned to get revenge on Pooh and the gang and became Ash Ketchum's enemy in the Walt Disney World version of Winnie The Pooh In Fantasmic!.
• Zurg became Simba's enemy in Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa's Adventures of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins.
• Zurg will get his revenge on Ash Ketchum and his friends in Ash's Adventures of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins.
• Zurg became Tino's enemy in Tino's Adventures of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins.
• Zurg became Danny's enemy in Danny Meets Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins.
• Zurg will become Bloom and her friends' enemy in Bloom's Adventures of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins.
• Zurg will become on Sailor Moon and her friends in Sailor Moon's Adventures of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins.
• Zurg will become Doctor Aaron's enemy in Doctor Aaron's Adventures of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins and is also a member the Dark Dragon Empire.
• Zurg will become Tabby Darklight's enemy in Tabby's Adventures of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins and he is revealed to have a friendship with Takehito "Goto" Himura/Muscular (Tabbyverse).
• He has a catchphrase that he says everytime when ever Buzz defeats him which is "Curse you Buzz Lightyear!".
