Charmeleon

Charmeleon is a Fire-type Pokémon evolved from a Charmander. In the anime, Ash Ketchum briefly owned a Charmeleon after it evolved. However, it lost its loyalty and trust towards its trainer since it evolved and became very disobedient to him for unknown reasons. It later evolved into a Charizard where, after it got wounded by a trainer's Poliwrath with an Ice Beam attack, was nursed back to health and began to have full trust in its trainer like it had when it was a Charmander.

• Liam previously owned a Charmeleon, unlike Ash's, it obeyed him due to its loyalty, it then evolved into Charizard to help Liam from falling off a cliff in Abra and the Psychic Showdown.
