Banzai is the friend of Shenzi and Ed in Pooh's Adventures of The Lion King.

Banzai made his first appearance (along with Shenzi, Ed, Arthur, and Cecil) in a Pokemon crossover in Ash Ketchum Meets The Hunchback of Notre Dame where he was working for Frollo.
Shenzi, Banzai and Ed reform and are founding members of the Shell Louge Squad along Spongebob and friends in SpongeBob's Adventures of The Lion King.
Shenzi, Banzai and Ed returned and guest starred in Winnie the Pooh vs The Mummy.
They also reform in Perry and Friends Meet The Lion King.
In the 25th anniversary live-action remake, he is "replaced" with Kamari, voiced by Keegan-Michael Key.
Banzai will guest star (along with Shenzi and Ed) in Pooh and Tino's Adventures of Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer where he, Shenzi, and Ed will work for the Dark Princess.
