(The scene changes to the tree branch where Ash and the girls felt bad for Thumbelina after what happened with Berkeley Beetle while Ash feels bad about the way he was acting.)

'''Korra:''' Well, that went well.

'''Asami Sato:''' That beetle was no help at all.

Odette: Are you alright, Ash? I never seen you like this before.

'''Ash Ketchum:''' I'm fine. Girls, I-I'm sorry about the way I was acting before. (Korra and the girls look at Ash feeling down.) I just couldn't stand the way he called Thumbelina ugly and the fact that he humiliated her on the stage. His bullying towards her made me lose my temper back there. Anyway, I'm sorry.

Pikachu: Pika, Pika Pi.

'''Korra:''' Don't worry about it, Ash. We all felt the same way.

'''Anna:''' Yeah, just don't let him bother you. He's just trying to get under our skins. And you have every right to be angry with him.

'''Ash Ketchum:''' I know. It's just that ever since we were trying to get Thumbelina back home, I get really outraged and frustrated at the way those toads and beetles have been trying to stop us from doing that. I just wish they would go away and leave us alone.

'''Korra:''' I know. We all feel the same way.

Ash Ketchum: Well, it comes to making new friends on these adventures. I get pretty crazy.

(Korra and Ash hug each other, just then Jacquimo arrived, and he sees Thumbelina sad.)

Jacquimo: (worried) Why, what is the matter, Thumbelina?

Thumbelina: (shedding tears) I'm cold, I'm lost and I'm hungry. And the beetle says I'm ugly.

Jacquimo: The beetle? You love the beetle?

Thumbelina: No.

Jacquimo: Then never mind, the beetle, good riddance to the beetle and good riddance to the toad.

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, don't worry about that jerk, Thumbelina. You saw how I took care of him.

Jacquimo: (gasps in surprise) Ooh-Laa-Laa! You mean you've taught the beetle a lesson?!

Ash Ketchum: (sadly) Uh-huh. He really ticked me off. (sighs in regret) But I've lost my temper towards him, and I punched him and even had Pikachu fry him with Thunderbolt. 

(Ash bows his head in shame as Thumbelina and Jacquimo feel sorry for Ash.) 

Thumbelina: (comforting Ash) Oh, Ash, don't feel bad. I've never liked that beetle anyway. I kept telling him that I'm not his toots and he never listened.

Jacquimo: That's right, Ash. Do not blame yourself.

Ash Ketchum: Yeah, I guess you're right. That jerk never listens to me either and I'm never ever gonna forgive him for that.

Pikachu: Pika Pika. 

Thumbelina: Ash, I really appreciate you standing up for me. (hugging Ash) Thank you so much, you are so brave. (kisses Ash's cheek)

Ash Ketchum: (blushing) Awww, it was nothing, Thumbelina.

Pikachu: Pika Pikachu. 

Thumbelina: (petting Pikachu) And you too, Pikachu. 

Pikachu: (blushes) Pikachu.  

Jacquimo: Does Prince Cornelius think you're ugly?

Thumbelina: No. He thinks I'm beautiful.

Jacquimo: And so you are, mon ami. Look!

Thumbelina: I'm going home. Oh, Jacquimo.

Jacquimo: Huh?

Thumbelina: Will you find the Vale of Fairies?

Jacquimo: I promise. I promise. But now we must sleep. Bonne nuit, bonne nuit, Thumbelina.

Thumbelina: Thank you, Jacquimo. Thank you.

Jacquimo: Tomorrow is a new day. And I will go to the forest and see if I can find your Prince Cornelius.
