== Looking for the gypsy girl/Phoebus saves the innocent family/Meowth expressing his doubts about working with Judge Frollo == *'''Misty''': Where's Simba and Nala? *'''Ash Ketchum''': I asked them to go with Littlefoot's grandparents and spy on Frollo. *'''Brock''': Great balls of Fire Spins! Why?! *'''Ash Ketchum''': Well, if they find that he's doing anything crazy or suspicious, they'd let us know. That way we would think of a plan to keep Esmerelda safe from that maniac. - *'''Simba''': Frollo should be here any minute now. *'''Nala''': I do hope he doesn't find out we're on to him. *'''Grandpa Longneck''': Let's hope not. Ash ordered us to stay out of Frollo's sight while spying on him. *'''Grandma Longneck''': Shh! Here he comes now. ''(Frollo's carriage rode towards the front of Notre Dame to meet up with Phoebus and the guards.)'' *'''Phoebus''': Attention! ''(Frollo's guards stand in position to await further orders.)'' *'''Phoebus''': 'Morning, sir. (Frollo comes out and moans) Are you feeling alright? *'''Frollo''': I had a little trouble with the fireplace. *'''Phoebus''': I see. Your orders, sir? *'''Frollo''': Find the gypsy girl! ''(With Frollo's order, the guards begin a manhunt for Esmeralda. They started on a random citizen home, and they ransacked the house of the surprised owner. The guards removed the furniture and moved some boxes before noticing a secret door underneath a barrel. The guard opened it up and there were some gypsies hidden underneath it. The gypsies were quickly chained up and brought before Frollo.) *'''Frollo''': (offers the prisoners money) Ten pieces of silver for the gypsy, Esmerelda. (they knew nothing of Esmerelda's location and refuse the money, which makes Frollo enraged) Lock them up! ''(The gypsies were locked into a carriage and the guards rolled it down a hill and into the river. The gypsies resurfaced but were brought before Frollo again. But this activity did not go unnoticed. Simba, Nala, and Littlefoot's grandparents watched from a distance as Frollo demands Esmeralda's whereabouts again.)'' *'''Frollo''': (offers the prisoners money) Twenty pieces of silver for the gypsy, Esmerelda! (gets even more enraged when they don't respond and refused the money) Take them away! ''(Phoebus glared at Frollo but didn't say a single word. He could not believe Frollo was threatening innocent people.)'' *'''Nala''': My word! Are you guys seeing what I'm seeing?! This is unacceptable! *'''Simba''': Indeed, Nala. Those people had nothing to do with Esmerelda at all! They were innocent! *'''Grandma Longneck''': Not only that, but he also knows that she escaped the cathedral! *'''Grandpa Longneck''': Everyone, we'd better keep up with him and watch his actions further. ''(Simba, Nala, and Littlefoot's grandparents secretly followed Frollo as the manhunt for Esmeralda continued. They observed Frollo ransacking more peoples' homes and accusing the innocent people of hiding Esmeralda, when they didn't have anything to do with her. More people were sent to prison and Frollo was becoming more and more insanely mad. This was pushing Phoebus to the brink of refusing Frollo's orders, but he remained quiet, for he knew the consequences of disobeying Frollo. In the process, Meowth was also becoming more scared of Frollo's increasing insanity while the other villains were too busy helping him in his crimes. And like Phoebus, he didn't say a word. The worst part about it is that none of the other villains don't seem to know anything about Frollo's insane change of behavior. For all they could simply do is follow orders and obey him so that they could get the rewards they desire. Simba, Nala, and Littlefoot's grandparents remained hidden from Frollo's view as they reached a house with a giant windmill, a few miles from Notre Dame. Other Paris citizens noticed Frollo's outrageous behavior and quietly expressed it as the squad stood alongside them.)'' *'''Female citizen''': Oh, my manners. He's never harmed anyone. *'''Male citizen''': Frollo's gone mad. ''(Inside the house, Frollo was interrogating a miller and his wife and two children.)'' *'''Frollo''': We found this gypsy talisman on your property. Have you been harboring gypsies? *'''Man''': Our home is always open to the weary traveler. Have mercy, my lord. *'''Frollo''': I am placing you and your family under house arrest until I get to the bottom of this. If what you say is true and you're innocent, then you have nothing to fear. *'''Man''': But we ''are'' innocent. I assure you we know nothing of these gypsies. ''(But the man's pleas fell on deaf ears as Frollo shuts the door on him. He then locks it with a guards' spear.)'' *'''Frollo''': (to Phoebus) Burn it. *'''Phoebus''': What?! *'''Frollo''': (mounts on his horse) Until it smolders, these people are traitors and must be made examples of. *'''Phoebus''': With all due respect, sir, I was not trained to murder the innocent. *'''Frollo''': But you were trained to follow orders. ''(But Phoebus, seeing how insane Frollo is becoming and how inhumane his actions were, douses the torch in retaliation.) *'''Frollo''': Insolant coward. (ignites the windmill and sets it on fire) *'''Simba, Nala, and Littlefoot's grandparents''': (gasps in horror upon witnessing Frollo's murderous action) *'''Nala''': (whispers) My goodness gracious! ''(Meowth is visibly horrified at what Frollo just did to the family's windmill. Phoebus dodges the burning debris. He hears the family screaming from inside the burning windmill and dashes inside. Esmerelda grows worried and so does Simba, Nala, and Littlefoot's grandparents. Phoebus comes back out and leads the family to safety as the burning windmill crumbles. Simba, Nala, and Littlefoot's grandparents all sigh in relief that the family is safe, thanks to Phoebus.)'' *'''Grandma Longneck''': (whispers) Oh, thank heavens! They're alright! ''(Phoebus gets knocked to the ground and restrained by the guards.)'' *'''Frollo''': The sentence for insubordination is death. Such a pity. You threw away a promising career. *'''Phoebus''': Consider it my highest honor, sir. *'''Simba''': (whispers) Insubordination, you say?! We'll show you "insubordination"! Esmerelda let's help Phoebus make a quick getaway. *'''Esmerelda''': You got it. (picks up a rock, throws it and hits Frollo's horse, making it throw him off) ''(Phoebus knocks away the guards, hops onto Frollo's horse and rides away.)'' *'''Frollo''': Get him! And don't hit my horse! ''(The soldiers fire their arrows at Phoebus as he rode across a bridge. He kept fleeing until he gets hit by an arrow in the shoulder. Phoebus fell off Frollo's horse and into the river below. Esmeralda gasped upon seeing Phoebus fall. As Phoebus landed in the water, more arrows fired after him. Esmeralda hid herself from Frollo's view. Simba, Nala, and Littlefoot's grandparents meet up with her so that they too would stay out of Frollo's view.)'' *'''Frollo''': (to his soldiers) Don't waste your arrows! Let the traitor rot in his watery grave. Find the girl! If you have to burn the city to the ground, so be it. ''(Esmerelda and her friends watched as Frollo, and the guards started leaving the scene. They can definitely see that Frollo has indeed gone insane: mentally and physically.)'' *'''Grandma Longneck''': Oh, my goodness! This is serious, everyone. *'''Grandpa Longneck''': I know. It's worse than we thought. Frollo really has gone mad. And he won't stop until he gets what he wants. Even if it means burning down the entire city. *'''Simba''': Then we must tell Ash and his friends about this. We need to come up with a plan to stop Frollo before more innocent people get hurt. *'''Nala''': But what about Phoebus? We can't just leave him here to drown. Even though he was Frollo's captain of the guard. *'''Simba''': Uh,... (thinks about it for a bit, but realizes that Nala has a point) No, no, absolutely not! He may have been Frollo's captain, but right now he's a wounded soldier. *'''Esmerelda''': I'll go and get him. Then let's take him to the cathedral. We can ask Quasi and our friends to help hide him from Frollo. *'''Grandma Longneck''': A very good idea, my dear. Go down there and bring him to shore. *'''Nala''': But do it quickly. Or Frollo's guards will see you. ''(Esmeralda quickly got in the river and dove underwater. After a few seconds, Esmeralda resurfaced with Phoebus in her arms. She then places the wounded and unconscious Phoebus on Simba's back.)'' *'''Simba''': Alright, let's go. Back to the cathedral! ''(Esmerelda, Simba, Nala, and Littlefoot's grandparents head back to Notre Dame with Phoebus as fast as they can. At sunset, the city lay under extreme pressure, for the vicious manhunt for Esmeralda had taken its toll on several houses and families. Frollo and the soldiers set several houses on fire and families were being arrested for crimes they didn't commit. The sky filled with a hellish red as smoke from the fires filled the air.) *'''Soldier''': Sir, we've looked everywhere and still no sign of the gypsy girl! *'''Frollo''': I had the entire cathedral surrounded; guards at every door. There was no way she could've escaped. Unless... ''(looks up at the cathedral's bell tower as it continues to ring despite the devastation he caused amongst the city)'' *'''Meowth''': (whispers to the other villains) Guys, I'm starting to feel worried. Are you sure it's safe to work with Frollo in his plans? And to have him around with us? *'''Jessie''': Why's that, Meowth? *'''Meowth''': Well, didn't you notice his sudden change in behavior? Did it ever occurred to you guys that Frollo is slowly going completely insane?! Just look at him! *'''James''': Meowth, he just wants to get his hands on the gypsy girl and bring her to justice. *'''Banzai''': Not to mention honor our promises. *'''Shenzi''': Yeah, so we don't see the problem. *'''Meowth''': But guys, you should've seen how he truly was last night. It creeped me out! He was like a son of Satan I tell you! He was at the fireplace, showing off his freaky, obsessive lust for the gypsy girl! I could feel his presence of evil creeping all over me the minute he talks about her! And all at once, it was almost like he turned into a terrible demon! He just kept begging for this goddess called Maria, pleading her not to let Esmerelda place a "wicked spell" on him! But in reality, all he's doing is lying to himself and placing blame on her for his sins! It was like he's calling the monsters from the underworld, screaming like the voice of doom! He's not a judge, he's a devil! *'''Jessie''': Oh, that's enough, Meowth! Look, we don't have time for this nonsense! Now, get yourself together and help Frollo find the gypsy girl! *'''James''': Yeah, we got a job to do, remember?! And let's not forget that we need to put the twerps out of our way so we can capture Pikachu! *'''Meowth''': But-but-but...! *'''Shenzi''': But nothing! We are telling you for the last time, there is nothing wrong with Frollo! Now, let's go! We've got to find that gypsy girl! *'''Meowth''': Guys! Guys! *'''Villains''': (in sing-song) We're not listening! (hums) ''(But unbeknownst to the other villains, Meowth had every right to be afraid. For what they don't realize is that they're putting their own lives on the line to a madman whose losing his own mind.)'' * '''Meowth''': (internally, with his head down) It's no use! They won't listen to me! Every one of them got their eyes on the prize once we help Frollo find the gypsy girl and her people! Once we find out where they were hiding, there's no telling what he would do to us! And if we don't make it out, Lord Bowser would be furious! What should I do?! ''(At that moment, Meowth has got an idea.)'' * '''Meowth''': (internally, raises his head) Wait a minute...of course! Lord Bowser doesn't know about Frollo's true intentions! If I can find a way to convince him about the judge, then he'll bring his army to help us! I know that our job is to help Frollo capture these twoips so we can win against them. But in this situation, I have no other choice. I've got to find a way to summon Kamek to watch over us and save our enemies from that psychotic judge! But how? (hears the bells ringing in the cathedral and looks up; the bells' ringing gives him another idea) The cathedral. That's it! If I could sneak into the cathedral during Frollo's visit with the hunchback twoip, I'll write a distress message to Kamek. And then, with Inkay's help, I'll deliver it to him so that he could come here, watch over us for a while, and then report Frollo's treachery straight over to Bowser! It won't be easy though. But it's the only way to put a stop this madness for good. (sneaks up on James and takes Inkay's Poké Ball) Sorry, James, but I have to borrow this for a bit.
