(Pocahontas throws herself on top of John Smith. Ash, Misty, Brock and the rest of the gang step in front).

(The Indians and Ash's group stare at each other. Powhatan stares at them and his daughter in a disappointed look)

* '''Chief Powhatan''': Daughter, stand back.

* '''Chief Powhatan''': (to Ash) So, young Man, have you made your decision?
* Ash Ketchum: We have! We decided to help your daughter bring peace!

(everyone is amazed at Ash's decision)

* '''Brock''': (to both sides) You all should be ashamed of yourselves. Do you really think this war is going to solve everything?
* '''Taran''': Powhatan, listen to us. It doesn't have to be like this.
* '''Princess Eilonwy''': Is this what Kocoum would've wanted?
* '''Chief Powhatan''': Kocoum is dead!
* '''Simba''': (steps up; calmly) Chief Powhatan, I know that the death of your finest warrior has hurt you and your people immensely, but this war isn't gonna change anything. Trust me. I know. I've been there. I've gone through a situation like this before. But through the words of wisdom from my daughter, I've learned that war isn't the answer to my problems. If you kill John Smith like that, many more people will die. And that'll lay madness if the blood of an innocent person is shed to avenge that of another.

* '''Simba''': Your daughter knows what she's saying. The tribe and the settlers were never meant to hurt each other, and fighting would only make things worse for both sides. Your tribe and the settlers. Think about it. What would you gain if you fought in this battle? Would you really earn peace? Victory? Through violence? Through war? Through hatred and anger? Through senseless bloodshed? (Powhatan is a full loss for words as Simba sighs) Look, don't make the same mistake I made years ago. I didn't know what path I was on until my own daughter showed me.
* Ash: Simba's right, Powhatan. A [[Mewtwo|friend of mine]] learned that lesson the hard way. He once thought that humanity was like a virus that needed to be destroyed. He created clones of Pokémon and led a war between them and ours. But the war was too much for both sides. So, I sacrificed myself to stop the war. I didn't want your wife to see the chief becoming responsible for the unnecessary deaths of many more people.

(the wind blows around Powhatan as if Pocahontas's mother is on their side, Powhatan lifts his staff)

We have all come here with anger in our hearts, but they come with courage and understanding. From this day forward, if there is to be more killing, it will not start with me. (Pocahontas is happy to hear that as she looks to John Smith) Release him.

(One Native American Warrior approaches the tied-up John Smith and uses his dagger to cut his hands free. A happy Pocahontas embraces John Smith with a hug.)

(Pikachu embraces Ash, with the rest of his friends smiling happy as they help avert war for both the English Settlers and the Powhatan Tribe. Nakoma grins happy with relief, while a surprised Thomas, Ben, and Lon lowerr their rifles, with the Native American Warrior troops lowering their arrows as well. However, the untouched Ratcliffe doesn't comply)

* '''Governor Ratcliffe''': Now's our chance! (pulls out his sword) Fire!
* '''Thomas''': No!
* '''Governor Ratcliffe''': What?
* '''Thomas''': They let him go!
* '''Ben''': They don't want to fight!
* '''Governor Ratcliffe''': It's a trick, don't you see? Fire!
* '''Simba''': (calmly) Let it go, Ratcliffe. It's time to put the past behind us.
* '''Governor Ratcliffe''': I'll '''NEVER''' let it go!
* '''Taran''': You have to, Ratcliffe! This is wrong and you know it!
* '''Princess Eilonwy''': This war will not change anything.
* '''Governor Ratcliffe''': Why do you fools care? You're just like all of those savage vermin! Always taking everything and ruining it all for me!
* '''Grandpa Longneck''': No, Ratcliffe! You're the one who's being a fool!
* '''Grandma Longneck''': There's no such thing as a savage, Ratcliffe. The Indian tribe are just another group of human beings like you and everybody else. You've brought this war upon yourself!
* '''Brock''': The settlers came here for only one important reason: to build a settlement. But you only came here for gold and to slaughter an Indian tribe!

(Thomas, Ben, and Lon look stern at Ratcliffe as they refuse to follow his orders. Ratcliffe is frustrated over his men's defiance before taking a rifle from one his soldiers)

* '''Governor Ratcliffe''': Fine! I'll settle this myself! (points his gun at Chief Powhatan)
* '''John Smith''': (pushes the chief aside) Noooooo!

(Ratcliffe fires his gun and the shot hits John Smith)

* '''Ash's gang''': '''MR. SMITH!!!'''
* '''Ash Ketchum''': No!
* '''Pikachu''': Pika Pika!

(Pocahontas is horrified of what she experienced as John falls to the ground as she swiftly runs to him. Ratcliffe then realizes his mistake as he shot John willingly in front of his own troops)

* '''Thomas''': You shot him!
* '''Governor Ratcliffe''': He stepped right–––right into it! It's his own fault!
* '''Simba''': (roars louder) '''THAT'S ENOUGH, RATCLIFFE!!'''
* '''Nala''': We don't want to hear any more of your lies!
* '''Ben''': Smith was right all along!
* '''Lon''': We never should have listened to you!
* '''Simba''': '''SEIZE HIM!!!'''
* '''Ben''': Get the gun!
* '''Ash Ketchum''': You!!!!

(Ash lunges at Ratcliffe and attacks him)

(The English Settlers then begin to seize Ratcliffe)

* '''Governor Ratcliffe''': Traitors! (gets restrained) Unhand me, I say! How dare you!
* '''Brock''': And we'll be taking that, you back-stabbing traitor!
* '''Thomas''': (grabs the gun from Ratcliffe) Put him in chains!
* '''Governor Ratcliffe''': I'll see you all hanged for this!
* '''Thomas''': And gag him as well!
* '''Taran''': Tie him up good and tight too!

(He turns his attention up to the wounded John Smith as he ran up. Pocahontas and her father Chief Powhatan tend to the wounded John Smith).
