*(Figaro jumps onto Geppetto's head.)

*Geppetto: Those ears.
*Pinocchio: Huh, ears? Oh, these, that's nothing, I got a tail too. (laughs then brays and covers his mouth)
*(Figaro and Cleo react in shock.)
*Geppetto: Pinocchio, what's happened to you?
*Pinocchio: Well, uh, I...
*Ash Ketchum: That's a long story, Geppetto.
*Geppetto: Oh, never mind now. Old Geppetto has his little wooden head. Nothing else matters.
*Ash Ketchum: We also wrote a note to let you know that we'd find him.

(Meanwhile, Jiminy still attempts to Monstro to open his mouth.)

Jiminy Cricket: I gotta get in! My pals in there! Come on, you big moose! Open up, I tell ya! (suddenly the seagulls come and attempt to eat him) (annoyed) Hey! Cut it out! (hides in the bottle and used his umbrella to shield himself from the seagulls) Hey, beat it, you buzzards!

(The seagulls keep harassing Jiminy then we cut back to Geppetto, Pinocchio and the heroes.)

Geppetto: Get out? Oh, no, son, I've tried every way. Why, I, I even built a raft.

Pinocchio: A raft? That's it!

SpongeBob: It's perfect!

Geppetto: (confused) Huh?

Patrick: You and Pinocchio can use the raft.

Ash Ketchum: We'll use our water Pokémon to help us out of here.

Pinocchio: Yeah, we'll take the raft and when the whale opens his mouth--

Geppetto: No, no, no. Now, listen, children, he only opens his mouth when he's eating. Then everything comes in, nothing goes out.

Heroes: (with Pinocchio) Oh.

Geppetto: It's hopeless, everyone. Come and make a nice fire and we cook some of the fish.

Pinocchio: (placing the quilt onto the fire) We'll make him sneeze.

Geppetto: Make him sneeze. Oh, that will make him mad.

Ash Ketchum: (groans in hesitation, but relents as he reluctantly leaves Pinocchio behind to save his father alone)

(Our heroes duck in cover from the blast of ocean water from the cave.)

(Ash and Jiminy react in shock upon seeing Pinocchio lying dead. Pikachu runs up to him)

Pikachu: Pika...chuuuuuu!

[Pikachu uses Thunderbolt in attempt to revive Pinocchio]

(Ash somberly agrees, puts his book away and goes for the dead Pinocchio. He picks him up and carries him while shedding tears. His friends solemnly follow as the screen fades to black.)
