Ash initially disliked the Monstars since they wanted kidnap the Looney Tunes for their theme park planet. He felt annoyed with the Monstars acting like bullies towards him, the Looney Tunes, Michael Jordan and his friends. Pikachu attempted to shock four of the Monstars for picking on Michael Jordan, but they were unharmed, so four Monstars mockingly remarked that Pikachu can't harm them since they're powerful, Ash lands a punch onto Pound, Bang and Bupkus's shoulders which hurts his knuckles, Ash comments how strong they are as he winces over the pain on his knuckles, Bang remarks that he got that right. Pikachu was angered when they called him weak. Ash became angry when Pound, Bang, Bupkus, and Nawt tossed his Pikachu around. Before the start of the game Pound, Bang, and Bupkus trash-talked Ash by telling him to watch his back as they threaten to crush Pikachu after the Looney Tunes which made him growl in anger. During the second half of the game Pound pinned Ash down with his muscular arm and tauntingly asked him if he thought him and his friends were gonna win, and also asked him if he was gonna cry once the monstars won the game. Ash furiously responded by saying that he wasn’t gonna cry. Later after the game, Ash found out that the Monstars were actually victims of Swackhammer's abuse and slavery. After getting rid of Swackhammer the Monstars apologized to Ash for their behavior, and he forgave them while putting aside their rivalry. The Monstars told Ash that they’d been listening to Swackhammer for too long, and that they couldn't take it anymore since he’s abused and enslaved them which Ash felt deeply sorry about. They also explained how impressed they were when PIkachu shocked Swackhammer as they’d warmed up to Pikachu, and that they no longer cared about winning. Ash talked to the Monstars gently about how wrong it was to steal the NBA players talents. They were relieved that Ash was not angry with them, Ash explained that he was worried about what was going on. In return the Monstars told Ash that he's welcome to hang with them it delights Ash so much since the Monstars are no longer bullies. From then on, the Monstars became good friends with Ash ever since they were free from Swackhammer's abuse and slavery.

Ash and Scrappy used to be great friends. Scrappy would often help Ash fight the bad guys despite his diminutive size. In the Pokémon crossover of the first live-action Scooby-Doo movie, Ash was hurt and angry that Scrappy-Doo became a traitorous villain to Mystery Inc. due to his vengeful plans of getting back at them for ditching him. His betrayal hurt Ash so much since his beloved little friend who gave bad guys a dose of his "Puppy Power!" was gone forever. In Scrappy's monster form he injured Ash by whacking, slashing, and punching him with his fists and claws. Pikachu attempted to shock Scrappy with his thunderbolt, but he was unharmed by it. Scrappy taunted Ash and his friends by calling them weak. Scrappy mockingly asked Ash if he's not going to cry since he betrayed him and Ash furiously responds that he's not going to cry then Scrappy remarks to Ash that he knew it hurt very much. he also told Ash that he'll kill him next after Scooby. After Scrappy returned to his normal self Pikachu shocked him as retaliation for injuring Ash. Since then Ash became bitter towards Scrappy and never forgave him for his betrayal to Mystery, Inc., his friends, and to him. He was hoping that he'd avenge him someday, but he gets calmed down by his friends as they assured Ash that Scrappy will remain in prison for the rest of his life. Ash felt deeply depressed from what had became of Scrappy. Ash and with his friends decided to forget about Scrappy from then on.

Ash initially dislikes Iago since he was annoying. When Ash was starting to get to know him at the oasis however, Ash heard about Iago's terrible heart-breaking backstory. He finally came to understand that Iago wanted something he longed for more than luxury and wealth: freedom. Iago even confessed that he was secretly impressed with Ash's selfless act in sacrificing himself to protect Aladdin during his first battle against Jafar. But he didn't reveal it to anybody due to his fear of angering Jafar. Upon seeing the heinous mistreatment his master inflicted on him and how it made him become a bad guy in the first place, Ash decided to grant the bird's lifelong wish to be free. By destroying the lamp along with Jafar, Ash declared to Iago that he was free at last. After destroying Jafar and the lamp forever, Ash told everyone including Aladdin, Jasmine, and her father Iago's sad backstory. He pleaded with them to not inflict more suffering onto Iago's life and begged them to let him live the life of freedom he’d always wished for. Ever since then, Ash and Iago have made an excellent team.

Ash initially disliked three trick or treaters since they brought Santa Claus to their master Oogie Boogie to be tortured.

Ash became angry upon learning from Beast Boy that Terra chose to side with Slade as his apprentice. When Terra supposedly attempted to murder the Titans (when it was actually Slade trying to kill them through her unknowingly), Ash became more enraged and vowed to take her down without any mercy via physical harm. Serena stopped him, Tino, and the gang from doing so with Mufasa's encouragement and reminded Ash of his famous catchphrase, "Don't give up until it's over!". With that, he immediately brushed away his anger towards Terra and allowed Serena to talk her down since she was the only person that could negotiate with her (while also pacifying the angry Teen Titans after remembering Ash's advice from the previous night). During the conversation, Slade told Serena that the Terra everybody knew was no more. Ash got angry when he threatened his friend, and he rushed over to defend both Serena and Terra by holding Slade back. After she successfully managed to peacefully patched things up, Ash stayed alongside Serena as Terra made Slade pay for the pain and suffering he inflicted on her and everyone she grew close to. The battle caused Terra to trigger a volcanic eruption that could’ve wiped out the entire city. In a final act of friendship and with complete control of her powers, Terra nobly chooses to stay behind and stop the volcano from destroying the city. Afterwards, Ash no longer viewed Terra as an evil, lying, back-stabbing traitor and chose to view her as an honorable Teen Titan and a true friend to everyone. This was thanks to the gentle kindness and merciful manner of his closest friend, Serena. The Teen Titans learned their lesson as well: real compassion and love can never truly be lost and a kind gentle nature like Serena’s only makes her stronger.

When Ash and Nebula (Winx Club) were originally enemies to each other he was mad at her for how she’d brainwashed his friend Roxy before he and his friends freed her, Morgana, and the Earth Fairies from their imprisonment. Upon learning about how they were victims of the Wizards of the Black Circle's evil as well, he understood why they were angry at humans. Ash would often try to talk sense into her by telling her that seeking vengeance was wrong. When Nebula finally realized the error of her ways after the Wizards were defeated, and chose to stay behind to perish with them out of guilt for the terrible mistakes she'd made, Ash would be the first to tell her about some of his past allies and friends who once felt the same way as she did when it came to seeking vengeance, and that when they realized their terrible mistakes, he and his friends gave them a chance of redemption. Ash even offered a supporting hand to her with Bloom and told her, "It's never too late for redemption, and I'm more than happy to call you.. a friend." Upon hearing his inspiring words, a deeply touched Nebula would complement to him by saying, "You know? For a human child, you have the words of quite a man". She then gladly accepted his and Bloom's supporting hands to escape the Omega Dimension while the defeated Wizards met their end.

Ash originally despised Ransik for what cruel mutant criminal he is when he blackmailed Silver Hills into surrendering to him, however when he learn of Ransik's tragic backstory and how we was rejected by people in the year 3000, he couldn't help be feel sorry for him, because he's got a reason for why he hates humans so much, and would often try to do his best in trying to reason with him. After Ransik, saw the error of his ways and surrender himself, he and Ash seemed to have gotten on some friendlier terms. When they meet again, Ash would be the first to trust him in helping him, his friends, the Wild Force, and Time Force rangers into destroying the Mut-Orgs. Ash would be surprised upon seeing that Ransik becoming human after he managed to negate the Mut-Orgs' mutant powers which also negated his.

Ash has a really deep hatred towards Dr. Z and the Alpha Gang since they want to collect dinosaurs and rule the world. He was so desperate to stop them and end this once and for all. But in the final battle against Seth, who betrayed them they team up to defeat him and his Black T-Rex.

Seth is one of Ash's most hatred enemies of all because he works with the Alpha Gang to collect dinosaur cards as well. Near the finale of season 1, he betrays them all revealing his plans is to create a world filled with evolved dinosaurs. He can't let that happened and fights him, but his Saurophaganax defeated all of his Pokémon so easily in one shot using the move "Fire Scorcher". While Jonathan reveals the whole origin of Rex along with his real parents and the Alpha Gang, he and Dr. Z tossed Rex's real parents off the time machine, which angers Ash about hearing Rex's tragic past and Seth's most evil plan he ever did, the whole thing causes Ash to strongly hate Seth a lot for doing that. Seth successfully created the Black T-Rex to fight him, the heroes and the Alpha Gang. While the others fight the Black T-Rex, he, Pikachu, Max and Chomp will fight Seth to stop him from fixing the time machine to travel back in time. Ash managed to get out of one of his traps before he fights him, but during the fight, Seth punched Ash on the stomach before he places his foot on his chest threatening to stomp his chest to kill him, but Pikachu uses thunderbolt attack to zap him giving Ash a chance to get back up to his feet as Chomp joins in by biting his hand. After the Black T-Rex is defeated for good, Seth suddenly got sucked into a vortex, but he was still not finished yet and attempts to take Ash and Pikachu with him to get suck in as revenge for foiling his plans. Ash angrily warns him to never ever try to hurt dinosaurs including his family and his cousin ever again as Seth is sucked into the vortex, after this Ash was extremely pleased to see the mad man is gone for good. But, however in season 2, Seth somehow survived much to Ash's shock in surprised and tells him and the others the whole thing is how he survived is he was found and rescued by the Spectral Space Pirates while being sucked into a vortex. But when he pretends to reform, Ash still doesn't trust him not after what he did back then. But when he stole the red and green cosmo stone they got, Ash knew it this whole time and attempts to stop him before he could make it to the Space Pirate's ship, but it was too late for him to stop him, and he angrily growls and punched the ground in frustration. In "The Search for the Last Cosmo Stone" he betrayed the Space Pirates and decided to take all the six cosmo stones to rule everything. Ash was so angry about this and tries to end this by killing him once and for all. During the fight in "Clash for the Cosmos Stones", his Pokémon team tried to defeat his Cryolophosaurus but it was too fast and strong for them to defeat the dinosaur then it was Chomp who defeated it by using "Final Thunder", but when Seth got away with the black cosmo stone, Ash got so angry he got away again. Max tries to calm him down, but he refused and couldn't let go of his anger unless he ends him. When Seth arrived in the present day and made his Cryolophosaurus held hostage Reese, Dr. Owen and Patrick, Ash's anger become worse even more, after his Cryolophosaurus defeated the six main dinosaurs in one shot using "Snow Crystal" and runs off, he has had enough of this and goes after him in the D-Lab along with Dr. Z, Helga, his Pikachu, Tai, Agumon, Simba, Leonardo, Sora and Jason. After they enter the lab, Ash declares him a fight to the death, so Seth accepts and challenges him to a sword/keyblade fight. During the fight, Seth taunts Ash, which angers him a lot more, so in his rage, Ash uses his keyblade to knock his sword away, then he tackles him to the ground and attacks him mercilessly. With Seth now injured, Ash attempts to kill him by stabbing him on the chest with his Keyblade, but he is only stopped by Pikachu, Tai, Agumon and Sora to stop this and let go of his rage convincing him and successfully comes to his sense finally letting go of his rage. But when the Space Pirates along with their dinosaurs arrived, they attack the heroes outside and so does the D-Lab with everyone inside buried underneath. In the final episode, he, the others along with Seth survived.

===The Ghostly Trio:===

Ash is annoyed with the trio bullying Casper. But, despite their rude attitudes and their love to scare humans, Stretch, Fatso, and Stinkie were shown to be deeply amazed to see Pikachu giving Brock Lee, Leon and Danny the shock treatment with his powerful thunderbolt.

Ash was annoyed with Gert and her sisters for the way they treated Wendy. Later Gert, Fanny and Gabby were shown to be deeply amazed to see Pikachu giving Desmond Spellman the shock treatment with his thunderbolt. After defeating Desmond, Gert, Fanny and Gabby apologized to Ash for their behavior towards their niece and praised him for his bravery.

Ash initially dislikes Amos because of his grumpiness and that he wanted to kill Tod. Amos and Ash had a bad start when he harshly told him and his friends to get off of his property and to stay away from his new dog, Copper since he's training him to become a future hunting dog. Then, he kicked Pikachu calling him a freak which angers Ash. As Amos threatens to shoot Tod if he sees him on his property again, he also threatened Ash to shoot Pikachu after Tod which scared him. While Amos, Chief, and Copper were away for a hunting trip during the winter, Ash and Littlefoot discover an old photo that had just been blown out of his house. And much to their surprise, Amos was standing alongside a large group of people in that photo. Ash decides to keep the photo and ask him if he knew those people until the time was right. But after Chief broke his leg in a train accident, Ash among with his friends were deeply shocked upon learning that Amos and Copper wanted revenge on Tod for supposedly hurting Chief. Littlefoot and Ash set out a plan to prevent the Amos and Copper from killing Tod by beating them to the game preserve and hold them off so they could talk them out of the meaningless bloodshed. After several failed attempts, Ash and his gang find a warning sign saying something about a grizzly bear living in the game preserve. They try to warn him not to go into the area while chasing Tod and Vixey, but he stubbornly and arrogantly refused to listen. When he makes it to the top of the waterfall and prepares to fire his gun at where he thinks Tod and Vixey are hiding, a giant grizzly bear appears and suddenly attacks Amos and Copper. Just as things were about to get messy, Tod appears and saves the day by plummeting the bear down the waterfall. Though, Copper was grateful for saving their lives, Amos wasn't even the least bit grateful and was still intent on killing Tod. With Copper's help, Ash, Littlefoot, and the entire gang, manage to successfully talk Amos out of killing Tod while also proving his innocence. Soon after, Officer Jenny arrives and gives Amos a fine for the trouble he caused in the game preserve, but the old man reveals his poverty state and he has a family that's twice as big as Mrs. Tweed's. This causes everyone to sympathize with him. This also made Ash realize that the large group of people who are standing with Amos in the photo he had just found last winter was indeed his family and the reason with him being grouchy is because he misses them. They decide to let themselves pay the fine while she lets Amos and Copper spend only one night in jail as punishment for their behavior. Officer Jenny reluctantly agrees and allows them to pay the fine for him. After spending one night in jail, he apologized to Ash and his friends for all of his actions and he understood why Copper likes Littlefoot, Ash and the gang. Upon being driven home, he showed deep gratitude for the first time when he thanked everyone for paying off his debt since they learned about his money issues. Once everyone learned from Amos that the villains who worked for him betrayed him and left him alongside Copper to die, they were shocked. Amos originally intended on unleashing payback on them for stabbing them in the back and abandoning him. However, they told him to not think about them anymore and what's important is that he needs to move on, which starts with recovering from his wounded leg. Since then, Amos became a humbler, kinder man. After Fred surprised Amos with a bus ticket to visit his family, Amos felt deeply regretful for not being a friendly neighbor and he returns the favor to Ash and his friends by announcing that they're no longer forbidden to play with Copper as he told them that they can play with his dogs and visit them whenever they like which made Ash and his friends very happy.

Ash initially dislikes Chief due to his grumpiness like his owner Amos Slade. Chief scared Ash and his friends by growling at them for playing with Copper. However, Chief's hostility towards the children seemed to have faded when he learned about their actions of settling Copper and Amos' dispute over Tod and bringing peace between them. After returning Amos and Copper home, Chief softly get's Ash and Littlefoot attention and tells them to come here, so he can talk to them, Ash felt hesitant thinking he might maul him and he kindly assured him that he won't bite. Chief talks to Ash, Littlefoot and the gang as he appreciated them for calling the vet and taking care of him. Ash showed deep sympathy towards Chief's broken leg and he gently told him not to worry so much and he'll live. Chief admits that he's forgotten all about that dogs can play with kids besides hunting since he learned that Ash and his friends grown attached to Copper. Chief felt deeply regretful for scaring Ash and his friends and he also admit that he and Amos pressured Copper too much for him to act nasty, Ash among with Littlefoot and the gang forgave him for his grumpy attitude. Chief told Ash and his friends that they're all welcome to visit him whenever they like and they don't have to scared of him anymore. Then he cleared up the misunderstanding from the night of his accident. Later, Chief among with Copper comfort a sad Ash who missed Tod so much. Chief gently told Ash to buck up and he's not the only person who's missed loved ones.

Ash first met Copper when he was a little puppy, he started to play with him by tugging Ash's shirt and taking off his hat which made him laugh. He among with Tod and his other friends play tag and hide and seek with him, Ash among with his friends felt deeply hurt since Amos harshly ordered them to stay away from Copper and forbids him from playing with them. However, by the time Copper is an adult he came back home as a trained hunting dog. After Chief broke his leg in a train accident, Ash among with his friends were deeply shocked upon learning that Copper and Amos wanted revenge on Tod for supposedly hurting Chief. Littlefoot and Ash set out a plan to prevent Copper and Amos from killing Tod by beating them to the game preserve and hold them off so they could talk them out of the meaningless bloodshed. Littlefoot, Ash, and the group could do nothing but watch as that grizzly bear overpowers them. Just as things were about to get messy, Tod appears and saves the day by plummeting the bear down the waterfall. Copper rushes over to check on Tod to see if he's alright. Littlefoot, Ash, and the gang calmly teaches Copper a lesson that vengeance is not an answer to every problem. Copper apologized to them for his behavior then upon seeing Ash cry he comforts him by gently placing his paw onto his shoulder as he soothingly asked why he's crying about as he affectionately addressed him "little buddy", Ash tearfully explained about how scared and hurt he was that he's acting differently since he and his friends didn't want to hurt him then apologizes for letting Pikachu shock him, but Copper forgave Pikachu by affectionately licking him on the head. Ash also forgave Copper for his monstrous behavior towards Tod. Ash hugs Copper while crying with remorse then he gently soothes him, and he promised him that he'll never attack him and his friends anymore. Copper then assists Ash in defending Tod from the ill-tempered Amos Slade and helped him and the gang talk him out of killing the fox. He then goes with Amos to keep him company in jail as punishment for their behavior but was released the next day after the fine was paid upon learning of his poor state. Upon being picked up and taken home by Littlefoot, Ash, and their friends, Copper has returned to being the happy-go-lucky dog he used to be with fond memories of his best friend, Tod, he sits next to Ash, affectionately licking his face as his way of thanking him for straightening him and Amos out. Copper assured a hesitant Ash and Littlefoot that Chief won't hurt them. Ash assured Copper that Daphne already talked to Amos about Chief's broken leg is just a minor fracture and Copper kindly replied that he's not worried too much since he heard the good news about Chief. Then, Copper playfully asked Ash if he'd feel worried all the time, if he'd stay mad forever, and if he's forgotten about his first meeting with them as a puppy which made Ash laugh while playfully pinning him down, tugging his shirt, taking off his hat, tickling his stomach and licking his face. Copper felt glad that Ash and his friends met him first. After Ash and Littlefoot talk to Tod for the final time, Ash felt very sad since he among with his friends started to miss Tod very much, Copper comforts him by telling him that he's his best friend besides Tod and he cheers him up telling him that he and his friends can still play with him while tickling him. Ash and Copper share a heartfelt conversation as he takes a bath and sleeps with him. After Amos announced that Copper is no longer forbidden to play with Ash and his friends, much to his joy. Copper and Ash play together joyfully ever since his first two long days are just getting started, despite his first 2 short days as a puppy. From then on, Copper became the official best friend to Ash among with his friends.

Ash initially dislikes Tank due to his bullying attitude. Ash and Tank had a bad start as he starts to pick on him and his friends. Later, after X-games he felt deeply sorry for Ash since he broke his arm. Tank also apologized to Ash for his early behavior. From then on, Tank became the new leader of the Gammas.

Ash initially disliked the beast due to his bad temper. However, he discovered that the reasoning behind his temperament was that he's a prince cursed by a mysterious spell from an enchantress as punishment for his unkindness. And seeing him struggling to not lose his temper around Belle, he realizes that the beast was feeling insecure with himself in breaking the spell through love due to his monstrous appearance. The beast later apologized to Ash and his friends for his behavior during his first meeting with them after Belle tended his wounds while helping Ash and his friends save her from a pack of wolves. Luckily, they forgave him out of deep gratitude and out of sympathy because of everything he's been through with the enchantress. In return for his help, they decide to help him, and the servants break the dreaded curse by teaching him how to be a proper gentleman.

During the holiday season, Ash's relationship with the Beast evolved immensely when he learned that Christmas was the time when the enchantress placed her spell on him and the entire castle, which caused him to resent the holiday in the first place. But little did the Beast knows, his resentment towards the holiday could ultimately put himself and everyone else in grave danger when he unknowingly became a pawn to an evil plot. One of his servants, Forte, a pipe organ who is the castle's court composer, was secretly planning to betray the Beast along with the entire castle by preventing him from falling in love with Belle so that the spell wouldn't be broken. When Ash, his gang, Belle, and the castle staff tried their very best to lift the Beast's Christmas spirit by planning a celebration for him, Forte's naive assistant, Fife, assisted him in his plan to sabotage their attempts. Forte later made things worse when he tricked Belle into venturing out into the Black Forest just to get rid of her. Things further turned for the worse when Forte tricked the Beast into believing that Belle abandoned him and then he used his musical powers to brainwash him into loathing Belle in an attempt to never fall in love with her. Now, driven mad with insane anger, the mind-controlled Beast destroyed the dinner table and the decorations his servants left out for the party before heading out to get Belle, who nearly drowned in a frozen lake while trying to find a Christmas tree. Under the misguided belief that Belle disobeyed him by leaving the castle grounds and breaking her promise, the Beast ruthlessly locked her in the dungeon without any second thought or any reconsideration. All hope seemed lost, and it looked like the Beast will never change his mind about Christmas. However, right when Ash was about to give up, his Pikachu detected something wrong and led him up to the West Wing. There, they discovered Forte's treachery when he attempts to manipulate the hypnotized Beast into destroying the enchanted rose so that he could never redeem himself through love and the spell would never be broken. This sudden discovery caused Ash to realize that Forte set Belle up, sabotage the Christmas party plans, and nearly destroy Belle's love life by taking advantage of the Beast's anger. Just as the Beast was about to destroy the rose, Ash ordered Pikachu to zap him back to his senses with a super powerful Thunderbolt, attracting attention to everyone in the castle and canceling out Forte's mind control powers. With the rose safe, Forte's plan foiled, and the Beast free from the hypnotic control, Ash showed him Belle's present and reminded him of the fact that she still cared for him. Flashbacking to the time Lumiere gave him advice on giving someone a special gift to show them he cares; the Beast's memory comes back to him and opens Belle's present. He finds the book she made for him and reads it. It talked about his life's story and about the gift of hope. With the book's illustration along with the gentle persuasion of Ash and his friends, the Beast finally comes to his senses and realized that all everybody in the castle wanted was for him to be happy and to put the past behind him. No longer holding his hate towards the holiday season anymore, the Beast eventually comes to agree that the castle deserves a very Merry Christmas. He then escorts his friends to the dungeon where they pick up Belle and prepare to give her the Christmas she's always wanted. But as they were about to celebrate, Forte begins to destroy the castle with his loud music. The Beast goes to confront Forte while Ash gets Belle and everyone else to safety. He then teams up with the Beast in a fight to defeat Forte but was immediately knocked out while saving Belle and Chip from his musical powers. That gave the Beast the will to fight back and defeat the traitorous pipe organ by destroying his keyboard. As Ash recovers, his friends and the servants rebuild the castle and redecorate so they'll have a Christmas celebration for real. In the end, the Beast gave Ash and his friends a very special gift: their families, close friends, and love interests being invited to his castle's Christmas party as honored guests. Soon, the celebration commences, and everyone had a very Merry Christmas at the Beast's castle at last.

Soon after Christmas, Ash and his friends continued to help the Beast improve his relationship with Belle. They soon watched Belle and the Beast played in the snow and feed the birds together. And he even enjoyed her reading books to him. Soon, their biggest moment came when Belle and the Beast shared a romantic waltz in the ballroom. But after the dance, Belle became worried about her father and wanted to check on him. The Beast allowed her to use his mirror to see him. Much to her horror, she saw him dying in the Black Forest from illness. The Beast sadly decides to let her go in order to save her dying father not before letting her take the mirror as a souvenir. When Ash learned that the Beast let Belle go to save her father from dying, he was sad and shocked. But soon, when Gaston stolen the mirror from Belle and led an angry mob to the castle to kill the Beast, he became furious. Desperate to protect his friend for Belle's sake, he ordered his team to gather the castle servants and block the door to keep them from getting inside. But when it didn't work, Ash, persuaded by Lumiere, led the servants and his team in a ferocious battle against the mob. However, during the battle, Gaston fled and ran up to the West Wing to fight the Beast. After successfully driving the mob away, Ash was informed by Zazu that Gaston is going to the West Wing, and he along with his friends immediately rush to the Beast's aid. The Beast was too saddened to fight back. But thanks to the arrival of Belle, the Beast fought Gaston and defeated him. Belle reached out and helped the Beast climb back up. But just as they were about to reunite, Gaston stabbed the Beast in the abdomen, making Ash furious. Ash challenged Gaston to a duel and immediately won. But Gaston wasn't finished yet. He pulled off one last trick as he was about to make a killing blow on Ash. Thankfully, Pikachu zapped him with Thunderbolt and made him fall over the ledge and plummet down into the ravine. Ash along with his friends were saddened to see the beast die from his fatal injury. But then the beast was changed back into a human prince as the curse was lifted after Belle confessed her love. From then on, Prince Adam became a kind and proper gentleman.

The other Team Rocket in the Alternate World are Ash's most hateful enemies he ever faced. When he and his friends encountered them, they took away his Lucario, Goh's Inteleon and the rest of Pokémon belonging to Emerl's allies. He and the rest of the heroes managed to go after them to another dimension. Once they arrived they discovered the whole thing of time reversing was because Dialga and Palkia were under the control of the Red Chain by them. They revealed their plan is to steal all the Pokémon and so does stealing all the eggs to raise them and turn them into Team Rocket minions so they can have enormous army to dominate the whole multiverse. Ash and his friends can't let that happen, so they and their Alternate World counterparts team up to battle them. In the middle of the fight, Dialga's temporal power went out of control reversing the whole time de-aging everyone and turning all Pokémon into Pokémon eggs one by one, including the Alternate World villainous team and send them blast off into one of the portals.

After they are defeated and the whole multiverse was saved by praying to Arceus to destroy the Red Chain to free Dialga and Palkia, he and the heroes banished and locked away the Alternate Team Rocket trio and their grunts to the [[Cyber Dimension]] so they will be trapped in here forever and no longer cost anymore trouble to both dimensions ever again.

During the battle in Jafar's snake form, he bit Ash's arm and nearly killed him with his snake venom. In Jafar's genie form during the sequel, he injured Ash by punching and slashing him. However, thanks to the miraculous help from his former minion, Iago, Ash was still able to defeat Jafar for good when he sent his lamp plummeting into the lava pit below, completely destroying it along with his enemy.

Bowser has been one of Ash's enemies since he teamed up with Mario on various occasions. Since then, he has foiled and interfered with his evil plans. From the time he separated Tai and his friends from their families during the 9/11 attacks to the time he helped Lysandre with his plan for making a world he dreamed for through Zygarde, Mega Evolution, and the Giant Rock containing primal energy, Bowser remains one of Ash's most formidable enemies of all time. In the Goofy Movie crossovers, Bowser learned about Ash's secret admirer, Serena, from his servant, Grand Duke of Owls and began targeting her as he sent some of his followers to spy on her.

Ash has a deep hatred towards Captain Hook since he and his pirate crew wanted to kill Peter Pan, the Lost boys, and the Darling children. Ever since he foiled Hook's plan in ''Ash Ketchum Meets Peter Pan'', the evil pirate developed a heated grudge on Ash, considering him more of a greater threat than Peter is. However, the main problem Hook has with Ash is that he kept underestimating him no matter how hard he tries to destroy Peter Pan due to his sheer incompetence, oversized ego, and arrogance. In the sequel, ''Ash Ketchum and Peter Pan in Return to Neverland,'' Ash challenged Captain Hook to a one-on-one duel in order to save Peter and single-handedly won without his help. However, when Hook cheated his loss and snatched Jane in midair while celebrating with Peter, Ash was angered at the deranged pirate for not playing by the rules and gave him his well-deserved karma when Ash sliced off his hook, much to his agony and humiliation (but in the Ryan's Adventures version, after his lost and injured, Ash never sliced Hook's hook because it is made of metal). Then he and his team ultimately sent him and his crew packing, never to return and taunt Peter as well as all of Neverland ever again. After getting slashed in the shoulder by Hook's sharp hook, Ash says to Peter that he now gets why everybody called his nemesis Captain Hook, which made all of his friends laugh.

Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu didn't know about Stan and Heff's existence until they started robbing Pooh and the gang's honey in the Hundred Acre Wood. Their thievery causes them to go into an investigation and figure out what reason they would have to steal their friends' honey. The first thing they did was that Ash was tasked into taking a picture of the thieves during a sleepover with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Roo just to see what the thieves look like, which he successfully did. Soon after, he showed the photo to Misty and Brock to get a closer look on the photo while Ash and Pikachu go back to look for more clues. The other clues they find were footprints, an empty honey pot with Stan's fingerprints on it, and some hair left behind by Heff. With all of the clues put together, they've concluded that Stan and Heff are indeed the thieves that's been stealing everyone's honey. When they finally see them for the first time, they witnessed how they threatened and scared their friends with the giant woozle named Wooster in an attempt to steal some more honey. That heinous action made Ash and his friends really angry. For they not only saw them as thieves, but they also see them as cowardly bullies who pick on their friends by stealing their honey just for the fun of it. With that, they went up against them, and stood their ground to protect their friends. And Pooh, while taking Ash's earlier advice by heart, trusted his instincts and manages to tame Wooster by befriending him. In the end, Wooster joined the good side while Stan and Heff were banished from the Hundred Acre Wood by Ash and Pikachu, hoping that they'll never come back to bully Pooh and the gang again.

But unfortunately, they did return, not only to steal more honey, but to cause more mischief. The first thing they did was that they abducted Kessie and Rabbit whilst leaving a ransom note for Pooh, Tigger, and Piglet, demanding them for money in exchange for their friends' freedom. But when they went to look for them, they too were kidnapped as well. However, nobody knew that Ash and Pikachu witnessed the kidnapping and followed everyone to the cave. Upon see his friends and Kessie held prisoner for ransom, Ash and Pikachu concocted a plan to rescue them. The plan was to scare Stan and Heff into freeing everyone by disguising himself as a mythical creature whom they believe in: "The Great Heffalump." With some unexpected teamwork from Kessie, Ash and Pikachu successfully manages to rescue everyone and scare away Stan and Heff out of the Hundred Acre Wood forever.

In ''Pooh's Adventures of Casper: A Spirited Beginning'', Ash strongly dislikes Brock Lee, Leon and Danny since they picked on Chris for his love of supernatural. Ash becomes furious at Brock Lee for kicking Ash's Pikachu and calling him a freak. Then they crossed the line by locking Ash and Chris in the closet at the Applegate mansion as revenge for getting a month of detention. Ash's Pikachu shocks Brock Lee, Leon and Danny with his thunderbolt as revenge for hurting him and almost getting Chris and Ash killed. Brock Lee, Leon and Danny were warned by Rabbit and Brock that they will be reported to Officer Jenny if they do anything dangerous to Chris and Ash again.

When Ash met Forte, he was nice to him at first. But when he saw the sudden look of evil in his black eyes, he and Pikachu grew suspicious and start to wonder whether if he is someone to be trusted. When he tricked Belle into going out into the Black Forest in an attempt to get rid of her, Ash decided not to go with her because he didn't trust Forte's suggestion. Soon, when Belle didn't return and Cogsworth is trying to find her for the Beast, Ash and Pikachu grew worried and wondered if Forte's suggestion was nothing but a setup. In order to prove it, they decided to go out and find her with Lumiere, Cogsworth, and some of his friends. But little did Ash knew, Forte made things worse when he tricked the Beast into believing that Belle abandoned her out of spite and then hypnotized him into loathing her so that he wouldn't fall in love with her. With the enraged Beast under his control, he manipulated him into destroying the decorations and the party table everyone left out for the celebration before going out after Belle in a blind rage. After saving her from her icy demise, the Beast arrogantly threw her into the dungeon under the false belief that she abandoned him, disobeyed him, and broke their promise to never leave the castle on her father's behalf. All hope seemed lost, and it looked like Forte had won when he seemingly succeeded in ruining Belle and the Beast's relationship and ruined Christmas for everyone. But just when the villainous pipe organ was about to fulfill the final phase of his plan as he begins to manipulate the hypnotized Beast into destroying the rose, Ash and Pikachu interfered and zapped the Beast back to his senses. With the Beast free from the mind-control and the rose safe, Ash and Pikachu were furious with Forte for setting Belle up, ruining the Beast's relationship with her, and for sabotaging the Christmas planning. After Ash and his friends managed to peacefully talk some sense into the Beast while reading Belle's book he received as a gift, they went down to the dungeon and released Belle, so they'll have the celebration for real. But Forte wasn't about to give up that easily. In a last attempt to stop Belle and the Beast from falling in love and breaking the spell, he tries to destoy the castle with his loud music. During the battle, Ash exposes Forte's plans to Belle, his team, and the entire castle, causing everyone to turn him. The pipe organ tries to hurt Belle who tries to protect Chip. But Ash risked his life when he pushed her to safety and ends up getting knocked out unconscious. The Beast finally sees that Forte is becoming far too dangerous and harmful to remain alive and defeats him when he destroys the keyboard.

At first he liked him as a nice gentleman, until he learned of his true colors that he is evil and he pretended to fall in love with Anna and nearly tried to kill her and her sister, Elsa in the middle of the blizzard, so he would take the throne of Arendelle for himself. In [[Team Robot In Pokemon XY The Series]], his hatred towards him grew further when he used his Malamar’s hypnotic abilities on his friends in an attempt to murder him. During the crisis made by Team Flare controlling two Zygarde, he was completely furious when he reveals the Malamar conspiracy was his idea and part of Team Flare’s plan to become a reality.

Ash becomes suspicious towards him knowing that he's tricking the Powerpuff Girls into helping him build a laboratory and machines. Ash was deeply angered upon realizing that Mojo had been lying to the girls all along and he furiously called Mojo a two-faced traitorous ape. In Mojo's giant form, he tries to defend the girls from his monstrous powers. But the giant ape stabbed Ash with his sharp spikes and threw him into Townsville Bay for him to bleed and drown to death. Pikachu fries Mojo with this thunderbolt after returning to his normal self-thanks to the Antidote X in an attempt to avenge his trainer. After Blossom flew down and pulled Ash out, he was nonresponsive. His lips were blue, and his eyes were shut. Pikachu attempted to revive his trainer with its electric attacks, but it was no use. Ash lost a lot of blood and somehow died. Not wanting to give up, the girls transmit their powers to help heal Ash's wounds and revive him. In an instant, Ash miraculously woke up and rose to his feet once more. Since then, Ash never forgave Mojo for betraying the girls and for almost killing him. Throughout the series, Ash often fights Mojo, and he often taunts Ash and Pikachu by calling them weak angering them both. Mojo often gets annoyed with Pikachu frying him with thunderbolt. Ash was deeply angered when Mojo turned the citizens and the girls into dogs, kidnapping the professor, Bubbles and the mayor, pretending to be nice when the girls' ball crashed through the window, creating the Rowdyruff boys almost killing the girls, giving them a giant robot for their birthday, knocking Bubbles out, attempting to remove the girls' powers, attempting to force the kids to destroy the girls, throwing the Antidote X during a slumber party and his other destructive machines he created to attempt to destroy the girls. Ash is still distrustful towards Mojo since he teamed up with the girls to defeat an alien. Ash felt satisfied whenever Mojo goes to jail but disappointed whenever he breaks out of jail. Mojo dismissively remarks to Ash that he is not changing him whenever he attempts to lecture him.

In the episode "Speed Demon," Pikachu attempts to shock Him in his muscular demonic form but he was unharmed by that then he tauntingly reminded Ash that he already won, then Ash attempts to punch onto Him which hurts his knuckles he comments how strong he was then he took his comment as a compliment then he picked up Ash with his black steel claw holding him in the air to explain why he destroyed everything while he, his friends and the girls were gone after some explaining it shocks Ash so much and Him mockingly remarks that he knew that the bad news hurts very much and having to learn to accept the truth. Ash attempts to hide from the chanting crowd who Him had enslaved, he followed Ash then found him hiding and picks him up in the air once again. Him attempts to kill Ash by squeezing him into his black steel claw, thankfully Blossom saved him before heading back to the present. In the episode, "Power-Noia," Him possessed Ash's body while he was asleep and forced him to attack the girls in their nightmares, transforming him into a terrifying demon hybrid monster. Him taunts Ash whenever he helps out the Powerpuff Girls and whenever he throws a fit at the demon.

Brick felt annoyed with Ash when he and his brothers are already listening to his lectures. Ash was also scared since the boys were now immune to the girls' kisses, they became giants. Brick taunts Ash for attempting to help the girls and mocks his Pikachu which angers him so much.

Ash strongly dislikes Dick since he wanted to steal the Chemical X so he can manufacture a security system and make money off of it. When Dick mutated into a monster, captured the girls and attempted to kill them by draining out the Chemical X to continue his plans, he becomes enraged and tries to help Professor Utonium rescue them. When he injected the Chemical X in himself and mutated in a much powerful monster, he challenged Dick to a fight that will determine the fates of Utonium and the girls. Their fight nearly destroyed the factory and it looked as though Dick was going to win. Just as Dick was about to kill Ash and deliver a fatal blow to defeat him, his knock-off creations, after hearing Utonium's declaration of his love to the girls, intervened. They were angered that Dick never gave any of them love after seeing what a cold-hearted, sadistic monster he all this time had been. As they rebelled against him, Ash quickly replenished his strength, overpowered Dick, and defeated him for good while also destroying him along with the factory. The remaining knockoffs tell him to take the original girls along with Utonium and his friends and get out before it's too late, which he does. But not before saving the other factory workers as well, despite being afraid of Ash's monster appearance. After everyone is safe and the girls are restored to life, Utonium injected some Antidote X in Ash's bloodstream and Ash reverted back to his normal self.

Ash is extremely disgusted with Roach Coach due to his love of cockroaches and tormenting Misty who has a fear of bugs. Though he learned that he is simply a robot being controlled by a disgruntled cockroach himself, to which he now views as no threat due to his small size.

After telling Serena the story about how Slade almost corrupted Robin into betraying his teammates and committing crimes as his apprentice, Ash admitted that he doesn't understand why he's so obsessed with destroying the Teen Titans and why he would corrupt a pure-hearted hero like Robin. But then again, he understands that Slade is something that can't be changed: another dangerous criminal betting on chaos and devastation. During Serena's confrontation with Terra, Slade maliciously told her that her attempts of talking the corrupted blonde down is meaningless and that she no longer has any friends. Ash became angered with Slade making threats at his childhood friend, so he ran up and angrily told him to back off and stay out of their conversation or he'll be dealing with him. After Terra presumably sent him to his fiery doom in the lava pit, Ash believed that Slade was gone for good. However, after he was revived by Trigon and inflicted more pain by targeting his close friend, Raven, his grudge towards him resurfaced. His anger towards him grew even further when Slade called him and Tino fools after calming Raven down when she had the chance to finish him off. And even after teaming up with him in order to rescue Raven from Trigon's prison, Ash still hasn't forgiven Slade for his heinous actions in the past. However, during their journey in the underground netherworld, Slade admitted to Ash that he's a pretty wise boy when he learned about Trigon's involvement in his unexpected resurrection.

At first, Ash thought Blackfire was just as friendly and bubbly as her sister, Starfire. However, when he learned that she is a back-stabbing liar, a thief, and a traitor trying to get Starfire out of her life, his opinion towards her changed and now viewed her as another enemy.

Ash wasn't impressed with Brother Blood's way of teaching due to his mind-controlling powers. He even hated how he copied Cyborg's blue prints and attempted to become a half robot in order to strip his friend apart.

Ash never heard of Trigon until Brock pointed out his involvement in Slade's unexpected revival. When Raven revealed that Trigon is her father, he was deeply shocked and began questioning how a monstrous demon like him be a father to one of his close friends. He learned from Starfire that many centuries ago, Trigon was once an evil inter-dimensional tyrant who used his powers to cross through time and space, wipe out many galaxies from existence, and slaughter billions of innocent lives by merely lifting a finger. And because of his cruel legacy, her people on Tamaran including Galfore and Blackfire feared him. He even learned from Raven that Trigon cruelly raped her mother, Arella, and manipulated her people in the disguise of a human in Azarath before she was born, which horrified him and his friends to an extent. When Raven surrendered her destiny to become the portal and allowed her evil father to enter earth and destroy it, he and the gang managed to survive Trigon's assault on the planet, thanks to Raven's power shielding them. After rescuing Raven from Trigon's devilish prison, Ash and the group decide to take the evil tyrant head on despite his massive strength, power, and size. Trigon somehow defeated them all, and just as he was about to kill his daughter and cut his family ties with her once and for all, Ash jumped in between and took the blast himself, preventing his friend from getting killed. He then berated Trigon for his lack of empathy towards his own family and criticized him for using Raven for his selfish ambitions. But despite Ash making an inspirational speech about families and willing of sacrificing himself for Raven, Trigon, being the impure-hearted villain he is, refuses to repent for his actions and continue to assault the gang. Raven was deeply touched with Ash's speech and the gang's will to protect her at the cost of their lives. And thanks to their efforts, it gave her the courage to finally step out of Trigon's shadow and destroy her evil father once and for all.

When Ash learned about the Brotherhood of Evil's heinous crimes from Beast Boy, he formed a vast hatred towards them. During the Brotherhood's assault on the Titans, he was more willing to help Beast Boy save the team and bring the evil organization to justice once and for all.

Ash despises Skeletor (1983) whenever he tries to take over his friend He-Man/Prince Adam's home planet, Eternia and take over Castle Grayskull so he would gain the power to rule the universe. Ash strongly dislikes Swackhammer, since he was the reason why the Monstars have been acting like bullies and he was also appalled by the fact Swackhammer wanted to make the Monstars win the game by any means necessary and wanting Michael Jordan as his new attraction at his failing theme park Moron Mountain. At the end of the game when Swackhammer crossed the line by berating the Monstars for losing the game, kicking Pikachu and calling him a freak. A furious Ash tried to stand up to Swackhammer but is brushed off and gets pushed in front of the Monstars. Then Ash's Pikachu is furious upon seeing this so, he comes to Ash's defense. Swackhammer becomes scared upon seeing Pikachu's sparks sputter from his cheeks. Then Pikachu shocked Swackhammer with his thunderbolt, which amazed the Monstars.

Ash has a deep hatred towards Berkeley since he humiliated Thumbelina on stage in front of a live audience at the Beetle Ball. Berkeley got really scared when Ash lost his temper towards him as he cowardly attempts to excuse his behavior. Ash throws several punches to Berkeley's face in anger, giving him a black eye and a nosebleed. Pikachu shocked him with Thunderbolt. Ash holds a deep grudge against Berkeley so it would be difficult for Berkeley to make amends with him since Grundel blackmailed him by taking his wings away.

Ash dislikes Grundel since he wanted to marry Thumbelina. First Ash threatens to have Pikachu shock Grundel and his brothers with his electric attacks if they don't let him, Thumbelina and the others go.

Ash strongly dislikes Medusa since she kidnapped a little orphan girl named Penny and used her as her slave and endangered her just to get her hands on diamond to satisfy her twisted greedy for vast fortune, she even had him and his hero companions thrown off the boat. Medusa is terrified of Ash's Pikachu and is zapped by his Thunderbolt attack.

Ash strongly disliked McLeach since he kidnapped a little boy named Cody, tricked the Australian boy's mother into believing her son was killed by crocodiles and trapping innocent wild animals. In the film's climax, Ash was deeply enraged when McLeach manipulated Cody's friendship with the giant golden eagle, Marahute, and used it as a selfish advantage for his sick, twisted plans. Ash's anger towards McLeach was further pushed to the limits when he almost had him and his team killed in a cave-in and tried to have his lizard, Joanna, eat Marahute's eggs. Luckily, while he was knocked out, Scooby, Shaggy, Bugs, Daffy, and Bernard foiled McLeach's plan by tricking the lizard and switched the eggs out with rocks. Later when he and his allies finally caught up with McLeach at Crocodile Falls, Ash confronted the vile poacher and challenged him to a battle in an act of vengeance for the pain and humiliation he's inflicted onto Cody, Marahute, and his team. During the battle, Ash had almost given up hope when it looked like McLeach had won. But luckily, Cody's friendship with the eagle along with Ash's friendship with his team and his Pokémon gave him the strength he needed to defeat the wicked poacher once and for all.

He got even more furious when he revealed to Max that he was planning to turn everything into a deadly hostage situation. He tells Max that Bradley wanted to bribe Team 99 into forfeiting by using Serena as a shield because if either of the team members of Team 99 were to cross the finish line, she would either get hurt or most likely killed by Bradley himself. After Max convinced his father to rejoin the group and also recovered the incapacitated P.J., the group left to go rescue Serena. Bradley attempt to foil the rescue mission. But Ash and Pikachu threatened him with a Thunderbolt, telling him to not do anything stupid. Before leaving, Ash gave Bradley a death stare, telling him that he'll be watching him doing something suspicious once he returns to the race and they'll be plenty more for him if he dares to do anything stupid to hurt his friends. Later at the final X-Games he almost got Ash killed while trying to win. In the end Bradley is electrocuted by Pikachu's Thunderbolt attack, expelled from the campus and sent to Arkham by Officer Jenny.

During the climax, the gang learned that Hopper plans on assassinating the ant queen after the colony finishes collecting the food. Flik and Littlefoot devises a plan to distract Hopper and the grasshoppers with a circus and rescue the queen so they can deploy the fake bird and begin a revolution. During the battle, Ash gave the evil grasshopper a major shock treatment with his Pikachu. After saving the queen, the colony and the island, Hopper met his well-deserved downfall when Flik tricks him into leading him to a bird's nest where he is devoured by baby birds.

When Ash learned that Mysterio was brought back to life by the New United Alliance of Evil and Dr. Facilier, he became dead surious on making Mysterio pay for his actions and crimes against Peter that he was willing to kill him, but his friends managed to talk him out of doing it and brought him back to his senses.

Before the start of the game Pound, Bang, and Bupkus trash-talked Ash by telling him to watch his back as they threaten to crush Pikachu after the Looney Tunes which made him growl in anger. During the second half of the game Pound pinned Ash down with his muscular arm and tauntingly asked him if he thought him and his friends were gonna win, and also asked him if he was gonna cry once the monstars won the game. Ash furiously responded by saying that he wasn’t gonna cry. Later after the game, Ash found out that the Monstars were actually victims of Swackhammer's abuse and slavery. After getting rid of Swackhammer the Monstars apologized to Ash for their behavior, and he forgave them while putting aside their rivalry. The Monstars told Ash that they’d been listening to Swackhammer for too long, and that they couldn't take it anymore since he’s abused and enslaved them which Ash felt deeply sorry about. They also explained how impressed they were when PIkachu shocked Swackhammer as they’d warmed up to Pikachu, and that they no longer cared about winning. Ash talked to the Monstars gently about how wrong it was to steal the NBA players talents. They were relieved that Ash was not angry with them, Ash explained that he was worried about what was going on. In return the Monstars told Ash that he's welcome to hang with them it delights Ash so much since the Monstars are no longer bullies.  From then on, the Monstars became good friends with Ash ever since they were free from Swackhammer's abuse and slavery.

Since then Ash became bitter towards Scrappy and never forgave him for his betrayal to Mystery, Inc., his friends, and to him. He was hoping that he'd avenge him someday, but he gets calmed down by his friends as they assured Ash that Scrappy will remain in prison for the rest of his life. Ash felt deeply depressed from what had became of Scrappy. Ash and with his friends decided to forget about Scrappy from then on.

He pleaded with them to not inflict more suffering onto Iago's life and begged them to let him live the life of freedom he’d always wished for. During the conversation, Slade told Serena that the Terra everybody knew was no more. Ash got angry when he threatened his friend, and he rushed over to defend both Serena and Terra by holding Slade back. After she successfully managed to peacefully patched things up, Ash stayed alongside Serena as Terra made Slade pay for the pain and suffering he inflicted on her and everyone she grew close to. The battle caused Terra to trigger a volcanic eruption that could’ve wiped out the entire city. In a final act of friendship and with complete control of her powers, Terra nobly chooses to stay behind and stop the volcano from destroying the city. Afterwards, Ash no longer viewed Terra as an evil, lying, back-stabbing traitor and chose to view her as an honorable Teen Titan and a true friend to everyone. This was thanks to the gentle kindness and merciful manner of his closest friend, Serena. The Teen Titans learned their lesson as well: real compassion and love can never truly be lost and a kind gentle nature like Serena’s only makes her stronger.

When they meet again, Ash would be the first to trust him in helping him, his friends, the Wild Force, and Time Force rangers into destroying the Mut-Orgs. +Seth is one of Ash's most hatred enemies of all because he works with the Alpha Gang to collect dinosaur cards as well. Near the finale of season 1, he betrays them all revealing his plans is to create a world filled with evolved dinosaurs. He can't let that happened and fights him, but his Saurophaganax defeated all of his Pokémon so easily in one shot using the move "Fire Scorcher". While Jonathan reveals the whole origin of Rex along with his real parents and the Alpha Gang, he and Dr. Z tossed Rex's real parents off the time machine, which angers Ash about hearing Rex's tragic past and Seth's most evil plan he ever did, the whole thing causes Ash to strongly hate Seth a lot for doing that. Seth successfully created the Black T-Rex to fight him, the heroes and the Alpha Gang. While the others fight the Black T-Rex, he, Pikachu, Max and Chomp will fight Seth to stop him from fixing the time machine to travel back in time. Ash managed to get out of one of his traps before he fights him, but during the fight, Seth punched Ash on the stomach before he places his foot on his chest threatening to stomp his chest to kill him, but Pikachu uses thunderbolt attack to zap him giving Ash a chance to get back up to his feet as Chomp joins in by biting his hand. After the Black T-Rex is defeated for good, Seth suddenly got sucked into a vortex, but he was still not finished yet and attempts to take Ash and Pikachu with him to get suck in as revenge for foiling his plans. Ash angrily warns him to never ever try to hurt dinosaurs including his family and his cousin ever again as Seth is sucked into the vortex, after this Ash was extremely pleased to see the mad man is gone for good. But, however in season 2, Seth somehow survived much to Ash's shock in surprised and tells him and the others the whole thing is how he survived is he was found and rescued by the Spectral Space Pirates while being sucked into a vortex. But when he pretends to reform, Ash still doesn't trust him not after what he did back then. But when he stole the red and green cosmo stone they got, Ash knew it this whole time and attempts to stop him before he could make it to the Space Pirate's ship, but it was too late for him to stop him, and he angrily growls and punched the ground in frustration. In "The Search for the Last Cosmo Stone" he betrayed the Space Pirates and decided to take all the six cosmo stones to rule everything. Ash was so angry about this and tries to end this by killing him once and for all. During the fight in "Clash for the Cosmos Stones", his Pokémon team tried to defeat his Cryolophosaurus but it was too fast and strong for them to defeat the dinosaur then it was Chomp who defeated it by using "Final Thunder", but when Seth got away with the black cosmo stone, Ash got so angry he got away again. Max tries to calm him down, but he refused and couldn't let go of his anger unless he ends him. When Seth arrived in the present day and made his Cryolophosaurus held hostage Reese, Dr. Owen and Patrick, Ash's anger become worse even more, after his Cryolophosaurus defeated the six main dinosaurs in one shot using "Snow Crystal" and runs off, he has had enough of this and goes after him in the D-Lab along with Dr. Z, Helga, his Pikachu, Tai, Agumon, Simba, Leonardo, Sora and Jason. After they enter the lab, Ash declares him a fight to the death, so Seth accepts and challenges him to a sword/keyblade fight. During the fight, Seth taunts Ash, which angers him a lot more, so in his rage, Ash uses his keyblade to knock his sword away, then he tackles him to the ground and attacks him mercilessly. With Seth now injured, Ash attempts to kill him by stabbing him on the chest with his Keyblade, but he is only stopped by Pikachu, Tai, Agumon and Sora to stop this and let go of his rage convincing him and successfully comes to his sense finally letting go of his rage. But when the Space Pirates along with their dinosaurs arrived, they attack the heroes outside and so does the D-Lab with everyone inside buried underneath. In the final episode, he, the others along with Seth survived.

And much to their surprise, Amos was standing alongside a large group of people in that photo. Ash decides to keep the photo and ask him if he knew those people until the time was right. But after Chief broke his leg in a train accident, Ash among with his friends were deeply shocked upon learning that Amos and Copper wanted revenge on Tod for supposedly hurting Chief. Littlefoot and Ash set out a plan to prevent the Amos and Copper from killing Tod by beating them to the game preserve and hold them off so they could talk them out of the meaningless bloodshed. After several failed attempts, Ash and his gang find a warning sign saying something about a grizzly bear living in the game preserve. They try to warn him not to go into the area while chasing Tod and Vixey, but he stubbornly and arrogantly refused to listen. When he makes it to the top of the waterfall and prepares to fire his gun at where he thinks Tod and Vixey are hiding, a giant grizzly bear appears and suddenly attacks Amos and Copper.  Just as things were about to get messy, Tod appears and saves the day by plummeting the bear down the waterfall. Though, Copper was grateful for saving their lives, Amos wasn't even the least bit grateful and was still intent on killing Tod. With Copper's help, Ash, Littlefoot, and the entire gang, manage to successfully talk Amos out of killing Tod while also proving his innocence. Soon after, Officer Jenny arrives and gives Amos a fine for the trouble he caused in the game preserve, but the old man reveals his poverty state and he has a family that's twice as big as Mrs. Tweed's. This causes everyone to sympathize with him. This also made Ash realize that the large group of people who are standing with Amos in the photo he had just found last winter was indeed his family and the reason with him being grouchy is because he misses them. They decide to let themselves pay the fine while she lets Amos and Copper spend only one night in jail as punishment for their behavior. Officer Jenny reluctantly agrees and allows them to pay the fine for him. After spending one night in jail, he apologized to Ash and his friends for all of his actions and he understood why Copper likes Littlefoot, Ash and the gang. Upon being driven home, he showed deep gratitude for the first time when he thanked everyone for paying off his debt since they learned about his money issues. Once everyone learned from Amos that the villains who worked for him betrayed him and left him alongside Copper to die, they were shocked. Amos originally intended on unleashing payback on them for stabbing them in the back and abandoning him. However, they told him to not think about them anymore and what's important is that he needs to move on, which starts with recovering from his wounded leg. Since then, Amos became a humbler, kinder man. After Fred surprised Amos with a bus ticket to visit his family, Amos felt deeply regretful for not being a friendly neighbor and he returns the favor to Ash and his friends by announcing that they're no longer forbidden to play with Copper as he told them that they can play with his dogs and visit them whenever they like which made Ash and his friends very happy.

Chief told Ash and his friends that they're all welcome to visit him whenever they like and they don't have to scared of him anymore.  Then he cleared up the misunderstanding from the night of his accident. Later, Chief among with Copper comfort a sad Ash who missed Tod so much. Chief gently told Ash to buck up and he's not the only person who's missed loved ones.

Littlefoot, Ash, and the group could do nothing but watch as that grizzly bear overpowers them. Just as things were about to get messy, Tod appears and saves the day by plummeting the bear down the waterfall. Copper rushes over to check on Tod to see if he's alright. Littlefoot, Ash, and the gang calmly teaches Copper a lesson that vengeance is not an answer to every problem. Copper apologized to them for his behavior then upon seeing Ash cry he comforts him by gently placing his paw onto his shoulder as he soothingly asked why he's crying about as he affectionately addressed him "little buddy", Ash tearfully explained about how scared and hurt he was that he's acting differently since he and his friends didn't want to hurt him then apologizes for letting Pikachu shock him, but Copper forgave Pikachu by affectionately licking him on the head. Ash also forgave Copper for his monstrous behavior towards Tod. Ash hugs Copper while crying with remorse then he gently soothes him, and he promised him that he'll never attack him and his friends anymore. Copper then assists Ash in defending Tod from the ill-tempered Amos Slade and helped him and the gang talk him out of killing the fox. He then goes with Amos to keep him company in jail as punishment for their behavior but was released the next day after the fine was paid upon learning of his poor state. Upon being picked up and taken home by Littlefoot, Ash, and their friends, Copper has returned to being the happy-go-lucky dog he used to be with fond memories of his best friend, Tod, he sits next to Ash, affectionately licking his face as his way of thanking him for straightening him and Amos out. Copper assured a hesitant Ash and Littlefoot that Chief won't hurt them. Ash assured Copper that Daphne already talked to Amos about Chief's broken leg is just a minor fracture and Copper kindly replied that he's not worried too much since he heard the good news about Chief. Then, Copper playfully asked Ash if he'd feel worried all the time, if he'd stay mad forever, and if he's forgotten about his first meeting with them as a puppy which made Ash laugh while playfully pinning him down, tugging his shirt, taking off his hat, tickling his stomach and licking his face. Copper felt glad that Ash and his friends met him first. After Ash and Littlefoot talk to Tod for the final time, Ash felt very sad since he among with his friends started to miss Tod very much, Copper comforts him by telling him that he's his best friend besides Tod and he cheers him up telling him that he and his friends can still play with him while tickling him. Ash and Copper share a heartfelt conversation as he takes a bath and sleeps with him. After Amos announced that Copper is no longer forbidden to play with Ash and his friends, much to his joy. Copper and Ash play together joyfully ever since his first two long days are just getting started, despite his first 2 short days as a puppy. From then on, Copper became the official best friend to Ash among with his friends.

And seeing him struggling to not lose his temper around Belle, he realizes that the beast was feeling insecure with himself in breaking the spell through love due to his monstrous appearance. The beast later apologized to Ash and his friends for his behavior during his first meeting with them after Belle tended his wounds while helping Ash and his friends save her from a pack of wolves. Luckily, they forgave him out of deep gratitude and out of sympathy because of everything he's been through with the enchantress. In return for his help, they decide to help him, and the servants break the dreaded curse by teaching him how to be a proper gentleman.
+During the holiday season, Ash's relationship with the Beast evolved immensely when he learned that Christmas was the time when the enchantress placed her spell on him and the entire castle, which caused him to resent the holiday in the first place. But little did the Beast knows, his resentment towards the holiday could ultimately put himself and everyone else in grave danger when he unknowingly became a pawn to an evil plot. One of his servants, Forte, a pipe organ who is the castle's court composer, was secretly planning to betray the Beast along with the entire castle by preventing him from falling in love with Belle so that the spell wouldn't be broken. When Ash, his gang, Belle, and the castle staff tried their very best to lift the Beast's Christmas spirit by planning a celebration for him, Forte's naive assistant, Fife, assisted him in his plan to sabotage their attempts. Forte later made things worse when he tricked Belle into venturing out into the Black Forest just to get rid of her. Things further turned for the worse when Forte tricked the Beast into believing that Belle abandoned him and then he used his musical powers to brainwash him into loathing Belle in an attempt to never fall in love with her. Now, driven mad with insane anger, the mind-controlled Beast destroyed the dinner table and the decorations his servants left out for the party before heading out to get Belle, who nearly drowned in a frozen lake while trying to find a Christmas tree. Under the misguided belief that Belle disobeyed him by leaving the castle grounds and breaking her promise, the Beast ruthlessly locked her in the dungeon without any second thought or any reconsideration. All hope seemed lost, and it looked like the Beast will never change his mind about Christmas. However, right when Ash was about to give up, his Pikachu detected something wrong and led him up to the West Wing. There, they discovered Forte's treachery when he attempts to manipulate the hypnotized Beast into destroying the enchanted rose so that he could never redeem himself through love and the spell would never be broken. This sudden discovery caused Ash to realize that Forte set Belle up, sabotage the Christmas party plans, and nearly destroy Belle's love life by taking advantage of the Beast's anger. Just as the Beast was about to destroy the rose, Ash ordered Pikachu to zap him back to his senses with a super powerful Thunderbolt, attracting attention to everyone in the castle and canceling out Forte's mind control powers. With the rose safe, Forte's plan foiled, and the Beast free from the hypnotic control, Ash showed him Belle's present and reminded him of the fact that she still cared for him. Flashbacking to the time Lumiere gave him advice on giving someone a special gift to show them he cares; the Beast's memory comes back to him and opens Belle's present. He finds the book she made for him and reads it. It talked about his life's story and about the gift of hope. With the book's illustration along with the gentle persuasion of Ash and his friends, the Beast finally comes to his senses and realized that all everybody in the castle wanted was for him to be happy and to put the past behind him. No longer holding his hate towards the holiday season anymore, the Beast eventually comes to agree that the castle deserves a very Merry Christmas. He then escorts his friends to the dungeon where they pick up Belle and prepare to give her the Christmas she's always wanted. But as they were about to celebrate, Forte begins to destroy the castle with his loud music. The Beast goes to confront Forte while Ash gets Belle and everyone else to safety. He then teams up with the Beast in a fight to defeat Forte but was immediately knocked out while saving Belle and Chip from his musical powers. That gave the Beast the will to fight back and defeat the traitorous pipe organ by destroying his keyboard. As Ash recovers, his friends and the servants rebuild the castle and redecorate so they'll have a Christmas celebration for real. In the end, the Beast gave Ash and his friends a very special gift: their families, close friends, and love interests being invited to his castle's Christmas party as honored guests. Soon, the celebration commences, and everyone had a very Merry Christmas at the Beast's castle at last.

And he even enjoyed her reading books to him. Soon, their biggest moment came when Belle and the Beast shared a romantic waltz in the ballroom. But after the dance, Belle became worried about her father and wanted to check on him. The Beast allowed her to use his mirror to see him. Much to her horror, she saw him dying in the Black Forest from illness. The Beast sadly decides to let her go in order to save her dying father not before letting her take the mirror as a souvenir. When Ash learned that the Beast let Belle go to save her father from dying, he was sad and shocked. But soon, when Gaston stolen the mirror from Belle and led an angry mob to the castle to kill the Beast, he became furious. Desperate to protect his friend for Belle's sake, he ordered his team to gather the castle servants and block the door to keep them from getting inside. But when it didn't work, Ash, persuaded by Lumiere, led the servants and his team in a ferocious battle against the mob. However, during the battle, Gaston fled and ran up to the West Wing to fight the Beast. After successfully driving the mob away, Ash was informed by Zazu that Gaston is going to the West Wing, and he along with his friends immediately rush to the Beast's aid. The Beast was too saddened to fight back. But thanks to the arrival of Belle, the Beast fought Gaston and defeated him. Belle reached out and helped the Beast climb back up. But just as they were about to reunite, Gaston stabbed the Beast in the abdomen, making Ash furious. Ash challenged Gaston to a duel and immediately won. But Gaston wasn't finished yet. He pulled off one last trick as he was about to make a killing blow on Ash. Thankfully, Pikachu zapped him with Thunderbolt and made him fall over the ledge and plummet down into the ravine. Ash along with his friends were saddened to see the beast die from his fatal injury. But then the beast was changed back into a human prince as the curse was lifted after Belle confessed her love. From then on, Prince Adam became a kind and proper gentleman.

+The other Team Rocket in the Alternate World are Ash's most hateful enemies he ever faced. When he and his friends encountered them, they took away his Lucario, Goh's Inteleon and the rest of Pokémon belonging to Emerl's allies. He and the rest of the heroes managed to go after them to another dimension. Once they arrived they discovered the whole thing of time reversing was because Dialga and Palkia were under the control of the Red Chain by them. They revealed their plan is to steal all the Pokémon and so does stealing all the eggs to raise them and turn them into Team Rocket minions so they can have enormous army to dominate the whole multiverse. Ash and his friends can't let that happen, so they and their Alternate World counterparts team up to battle them. In the middle of the fight, Dialga's temporal power went out of control reversing the whole time de-aging everyone and turning all Pokémon into Pokémon eggs one by one, including the Alternate World villainous team and send them blast off into one of the portals.
+After they are defeated and the whole multiverse was saved by praying to Arceus to destroy the Red Chain to free Dialga and Palkia, he and the heroes banished and locked away the Alternate Team Rocket trio and their grunts to the [[Cyber Dimension]] so they will be trapped in here forever and no longer cost anymore trouble to both dimensions ever again.

However, thanks to the miraculous help from his former minion, Iago, Ash was still able to defeat Jafar for good when he sent his lamp plummeting into the lava pit below, completely destroying it along with his enemy.

In the Goofy Movie crossovers, Bowser learned about Ash's secret admirer, Serena, from his servant, Grand Duke of Owls and began targeting her as he sent some of his followers to spy on her.

+Ash has a deep hatred towards Captain Hook since he and his pirate crew wanted to kill Peter Pan, the Lost boys, and the Darling children. Ever since he foiled Hook's plan in ''Ash Ketchum Meets Peter Pan'', the evil pirate developed a heated grudge on Ash, considering him more of a greater threat than Peter is. However, the main problem Hook has with Ash is that he kept underestimating him no matter how hard he tries to destroy Peter Pan due to his sheer incompetence, oversized ego, and arrogance. In the sequel, ''Ash Ketchum and Peter Pan in Return to Neverland,'' Ash challenged Captain Hook to a one-on-one duel in order to save Peter and single-handedly won without his help. However, when Hook cheated his loss and snatched Jane in midair while celebrating with Peter, Ash was angered at the deranged pirate for not playing by the rules and gave him his well-deserved karma when Ash sliced off his hook, much to his agony and humiliation (but in the Ryan's Adventures version, after his lost and injured, Ash never sliced Hook's hook because it is made of metal). Then he and his team ultimately sent him and his crew packing, never to return and taunt Peter as well as all of Neverland ever again. After getting slashed in the shoulder by Hook's sharp hook, Ash says to Peter that he now gets why everybody called his nemesis Captain Hook, which made all of his friends laugh.

+Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu didn't know about Stan and Heff's existence until they started robbing Pooh and the gang's honey in the Hundred Acre Wood. Their thievery causes them to go into an investigation and figure out what reason they would have to steal their friends' honey. The first thing they did was that Ash was tasked into taking a picture of the thieves during a sleepover with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Roo just to see what the thieves look like, which he successfully did. Soon after, he showed the photo to Misty and Brock to get a closer look on the photo while Ash and Pikachu go back to look for more clues. The other clues they find were footprints, an empty honey pot with Stan's fingerprints on it, and some hair left behind by Heff. With all of the clues put together, they've concluded that Stan and Heff are indeed the thieves that's been stealing everyone's honey. When they finally see them for the first time, they witnessed how they threatened and scared their friends with the giant woozle named Wooster in an attempt to steal some more honey. That heinous action made Ash and his friends really angry. For they not only saw them as thieves, but they also see them as cowardly bullies who pick on their friends by stealing their honey just for the fun of it. With that, they went up against them, and stood their ground to protect their friends. And Pooh, while taking Ash's earlier advice by heart, trusted his instincts and manages to tame Wooster by befriending him. In the end, Wooster joined the good side while Stan and Heff were banished from the Hundred Acre Wood by Ash and Pikachu, hoping that they'll never come back to bully Pooh and the gang again.

Upon see his friends and Kessie held prisoner for ransom, Ash and Pikachu concocted a plan to rescue them. The plan was to scare Stan and Heff into freeing everyone by disguising himself as a mythical creature whom they believe in: "The Great Heffalump." With some unexpected teamwork from Kessie, Ash and Pikachu successfully manages to rescue everyone and scare away Stan and Heff out of the Hundred Acre Wood forever.

When he tricked Belle into going out into the Black Forest in an attempt to get rid of her, Ash decided not to go with her because he didn't trust Forte's suggestion. Soon, when Belle didn't return and Cogsworth is trying to find her for the Beast, Ash and Pikachu grew worried and wondered if Forte's suggestion was nothing but a setup. In order to prove it, they decided to go out and find her with Lumiere, Cogsworth, and some of his friends. But little did Ash knew, Forte made things worse when he tricked the Beast into believing that Belle abandoned her out of spite and then hypnotized him into loathing her so that he wouldn't fall in love with her. With the enraged Beast under his control, he manipulated him into destroying the decorations and the party table everyone left out for the celebration before going out after Belle in a blind rage. After saving her from her icy demise, the Beast arrogantly threw her into the dungeon under the false belief that she abandoned him, disobeyed him, and broke their promise to never leave the castle on her father's behalf. All hope seemed lost, and it looked like Forte had won when he seemingly succeeded in ruining Belle and the Beast's relationship and ruined Christmas for everyone. But just when the villainous pipe organ was about to fulfill the final phase of his plan as he begins to manipulate the hypnotized Beast into destroying the rose, Ash and Pikachu interfered and zapped the Beast back to his senses. With the Beast free from the mind-control and the rose safe, Ash and Pikachu were furious with Forte for setting Belle up, ruining the Beast's relationship with her, and for sabotaging the Christmas planning. After Ash and his friends managed to peacefully talk some sense into the Beast while reading Belle's book he received as a gift, they went down to the dungeon and released Belle, so they'll have the celebration for real. But Forte wasn't about to give up that easily. In a last attempt to stop Belle and the Beast from falling in love and breaking the spell, he tries to destoy the castle with his loud music. During the battle, Ash exposes Forte's plans to Belle, his team, and the entire castle, causing everyone to turn him. The pipe organ tries to hurt Belle who tries to protect Chip. But Ash risked his life when he pushed her to safety and ends up getting knocked out unconscious. The Beast finally sees that Forte is becoming far too dangerous and harmful to remain alive and defeats him when he destroys the keyboard.

Ash becomes suspicious towards him knowing that he's tricking the Powerpuff Girls into helping him build a laboratory and machines. Ash was deeply angered upon realizing that Mojo had been lying to the girls all along and he furiously called Mojo a two-faced traitorous ape. In Mojo's giant form, he tries to defend the girls from his monstrous powers. But the giant ape stabbed Ash with his sharp spikes and threw him into Townsville Bay for him to bleed and drown to death. Pikachu fries Mojo with this thunderbolt after returning to his normal self-thanks to the Antidote X in an attempt to avenge his trainer. After Blossom flew down and pulled Ash out, he was nonresponsive. His lips were blue, and his eyes were shut. Pikachu attempted to revive his trainer with its electric attacks, but it was no use. Ash lost a lot of blood and somehow died. Not wanting to give up, the girls transmit their powers to help heal Ash's wounds and revive him. In an instant, Ash miraculously woke up and rose to his feet once more. Since then, Ash never forgave Mojo for betraying the girls and for almost killing him. Throughout the series, Ash often fights Mojo, and he often taunts Ash and Pikachu by calling them weak angering them both. Mojo often gets annoyed with Pikachu frying him with thunderbolt. Ash was deeply angered when Mojo turned the citizens and the girls into dogs, kidnapping the professor, Bubbles and the mayor, pretending to be nice when the girls' ball crashed through the window, creating the Rowdyruff boys almost killing the girls, giving them a giant robot for their birthday, knocking Bubbles out, attempting to remove the girls' powers, attempting to force the kids to destroy the girls, throwing the Antidote X during a slumber party and his other destructive machines he created to attempt to destroy the girls. Ash is still distrustful towards Mojo since he teamed up with the girls to defeat an alien. Ash felt satisfied whenever Mojo goes to jail but disappointed whenever he breaks out of jail. Mojo dismissively remarks to Ash that he is not changing him whenever he attempts to lecture him.

In the episode "Speed Demon," Pikachu attempts to shock Him in his muscular demonic form but he was unharmed by that then he tauntingly reminded Ash that he already won, then Ash attempts to punch onto Him which hurts his knuckles he comments how strong he was then he took his comment as a compliment then he picked up Ash with his black steel claw holding him in the air to explain why he destroyed everything while he, his friends and the girls were gone after some explaining it shocks Ash so much and Him mockingly remarks that he knew that the bad news hurts very much and having to learn to accept the truth. Ash attempts to hide from the chanting crowd who Him had enslaved, he followed Ash then found him hiding and picks him up in the air once again. Him attempts to kill Ash by squeezing him into his black steel claw, thankfully Blossom saved him before heading back to the present. In the episode, "Power-Noia," Him possessed Ash's body while he was asleep and forced him to attack the girls in their nightmares, transforming him into a terrifying demon hybrid monster. Him taunts Ash whenever he helps out the Powerpuff Girls and whenever he throws a fit at the demon.

Brick felt annoyed with Ash when he and his brothers are already listening to his lectures. Ash was also scared since the boys were now immune to the girls' kisses, they became giants. Brick taunts Ash for attempting to help the girls and mocks his Pikachu which angers him so much.

+Ash strongly dislikes Dick since he wanted to steal the Chemical X so he can manufacture a security system and make money off of it. When Dick mutated into a monster, captured the girls and attempted to kill them by draining out the Chemical X to continue his plans, he becomes enraged and tries to help Professor Utonium rescue them. When he injected the Chemical X in himself and mutated in a much powerful monster, he challenged Dick to a fight that will determine the fates of Utonium and the girls. Their fight nearly destroyed the factory and it looked as though Dick was going to win. Just as Dick was about to kill Ash and deliver a fatal blow to defeat him, his knock-off creations, after hearing Utonium's declaration of his love to the girls, intervened. They were angered that Dick never gave any of them love after seeing what a cold-hearted, sadistic monster he all this time had been. As they rebelled against him, Ash quickly replenished his strength, overpowered Dick, and defeated him for good while also destroying him along with the factory. The remaining knockoffs tell him to take the original girls along with Utonium and his friends and get out before it's too late, which he does. But not before saving the other factory workers as well, despite being afraid of Ash's monster appearance. After everyone is safe and the girls are restored to life, Utonium injected some Antidote X in Ash's bloodstream and Ash reverted back to his normal self.

She tauntingly told Ash that he's too late to save her. His anger towards Maleficent rose even further when she abducted Prince Phillip and taken him prisoner to her castle at the Forbidden Mountain. With that, Ash grew very determined to defeat her for good by rescuing Phillip from her dungeon and get him to break the sleeping spell on Aurora with true love's kiss. In Maleficent's dragon form Pikachu attempts to shock Maleficent with his thunderbolt but she is unharmed.

After telling Serena the story about how Slade almost corrupted Robin into betraying his teammates and committing crimes as his apprentice, Ash admitted that he doesn't understand why he's so obsessed with destroying the Teen Titans and why he would corrupt a pure-hearted hero like Robin. But then again, he understands that Slade is something that can't be changed: another dangerous criminal betting on chaos and devastation. During Serena's confrontation with Terra, Slade maliciously told her that her attempts of talking the corrupted blonde down is meaningless and that she no longer has any friends. Ash became angered with Slade making threats at his childhood friend, so he ran up and angrily told him to back off and stay out of their conversation or he'll be dealing with him. After Terra presumably sent him to his fiery doom in the lava pit, Ash believed that Slade was gone for good. However, after he was revived by Trigon and inflicted more pain by targeting his close friend, Raven, his grudge towards him resurfaced. His anger towards him grew even further when Slade called him and Tino fools after calming Raven down when she had the chance to finish him off. And even after teaming up with him in order to rescue Raven from Trigon's prison, Ash still hasn't forgiven Slade for his heinous actions in the past. However, during their journey in the underground netherworld, Slade admitted to Ash that he's a pretty wise boy when he learned about Trigon's involvement in his unexpected resurrection.

He even learned from Raven that Trigon cruelly raped her mother, Arella, and manipulated her people in the disguise of a human in Azarath before she was born, which horrified him and his friends to an extent. When Raven surrendered her destiny to become the portal and allowed her evil father to enter earth and destroy it, he and the gang managed to survive Trigon's assault on the planet, thanks to Raven's power shielding them. After rescuing Raven from Trigon's devilish prison, Ash and the group decide to take the evil tyrant head on despite his massive strength, power, and size. Trigon somehow defeated them all, and just as he was about to kill his daughter and cut his family ties with her once and for all, Ash jumped in between and took the blast himself, preventing his friend from getting killed. He then berated Trigon for his lack of empathy towards his own family and criticized him for using Raven for his selfish ambitions. But despite Ash making an inspirational speech about families and willing of sacrificing himself for Raven, Trigon, being the impure-hearted villain he is, refuses to repent for his actions and continue to assault the gang. Raven was deeply touched with Ash's speech and the gang's will to protect her at the cost of their lives. And thanks to their efforts, it gave her the courage to finally step out of Trigon's shadow and destroy her evil father once and for all.

Luckily, while he was knocked out, Scooby, Shaggy, Bugs, Daffy, and Bernard foiled McLeach's plan by tricking the lizard and switched the eggs out with rocks. Later when he and his allies finally caught up with McLeach at Crocodile Falls, Ash confronted the vile poacher and challenged him to a battle in an act of vengeance for the pain and humiliation he's inflicted onto Cody, Marahute, and his team. During the battle, Ash had almost given up hope when it looked like McLeach had won. But luckily, Cody's friendship with the eagle along with Ash's friendship with his team and his Pokémon gave him the strength he needed to defeat the wicked poacher once and for all.

Soon, Ash became furious at Bradley for not only using Serena as his pawn, but for learning that he ruthlessly kidnapped her. He got even more furious when he revealed to Max that he was planning to turn everything into a deadly hostage situation. He tells Max that Bradley wanted to bribe Team 99 into forfeiting by using Serena as a shield because if either of the team members of Team 99 were to cross the finish line, she would either get hurt or most likely killed by Bradley himself. After Max convinced his father to rejoin the group and also recovered the incapacitated P.J., the group left to go rescue Serena. Bradley attempt to foil the rescue mission. But Ash and Pikachu threatened him with a Thunderbolt, telling him to not do anything stupid. Before leaving, Ash gave Bradley a death stare, telling him that he'll be watching him doing something suspicious once he returns to the race and they'll be plenty more for him if he dares to do anything stupid to hurt his friends. Later at the final X-Games he almost got Ash killed while trying to win. In the end Bradley is electrocuted by Pikachu's Thunderbolt attack, expelled from the campus and sent to Arkham by Officer Jenny.

During the climax, the gang learned that Hopper plans on assassinating the ant queen after the colony finishes collecting the food. Flik and Littlefoot devises a plan to distract Hopper and the grasshoppers with a circus and rescue the queen so they can deploy the fake bird and begin a revolution. During the battle, Ash gave the evil grasshopper a major shock treatment with his Pikachu. After saving the queen, the colony and the island, Hopper met his well-deserved downfall when Flik tricks him into leading him to a bird's nest where he is devoured by baby birds.

One night, Ash listened in on Leopold's scheme and saw him talking to Jessie, James and Meowth from Team Rocket, who were posing as the janitors and announced Pepito's abduction at the circus and carnival, where the Idiots Popopov would be performing the next day.
