Bugs is great friends with Ash since they're both leaders. Ash defends Bugs and the other Looney Tunes from an evil theme park owner named Swackhammer and his minions the Monstars, an evil Chairman and his minions, and an evil computer man named Al-G Rhythm and his team the Goon Squad. Before the start of the Ultimate basketball game, he among with Daffy cautions Ash to watch out for the Monstars since they're big, strong and fast. Bugs is really impressed with Ash's Pikachu who often shocks the bad guys with his thunderbolt. Bugs Bunny is also one of the few characters who encourages Ash to not give up on completing his mission, for he and Daffy know that the Ash they recognize doesn't surrender nor go down that easily. Bugs, along with Daffy, often drag Ash out of perilous situations. Like for instance, they saved Ash and Pikachu with life preservers before they fell over the waterfall with McLeach.
