Ash and Alice really get along very well, after Ash learnt that Alice was Masquerade Ash felt sorry for Alice and tell her about a friend he once known "Scrappy-Doo", Ash understand how Alice gone through once evil serve to Naga, but Ash told her in the end, she did the right thing to help a friend and put the end to it. Alice was so grateful, deeply touched by Ash's story that almost made her cry she found Ash a true listening and a true friend understand, whenever Ash is angry, frustrated and upset, Alice often calms him down and be there for him.
