Upon first meeting Nabu for the first time, Ash along with his friends didn't trust him due to how he snooped around them and their friends the Winx until he helped saved them willingly. Ash would often learn new battle skills from Nabu, which he would often use during his and his allies' battles with their enemies. When Nabu died sacrificing his life to save the Earth Fairies from the Wizards of the Black Circle's schemes, Ash cried for his loss, but unlike his friend Aisha, he wouldn't seek vengeance over his death.
