Ash has a strong hatred towards Mojo since he wanted to destroy Townsville and destroy the Powerpuff Girls. Upon first meeting Mojo whose name used to be Jojo he slyly comments to Ash that he looks like an intelligent little boy which made him feel uncomfortable. Ash becomes suspicious towards him knowing that he's tricking the Powerpuff Girls into helping him build a laboratory and machines. Ash was deeply angered upon realizing that Mojo had been lying to the girls all along and he furiously called Mojo a two-faced traitorous ape. In Mojo's giant form, he tries to defend the girls from his monstrous powers. But the giant ape stabbed Ash with his sharp spikes and threw him into Townsville Bay for him to bleed and drown to death. Pikachu fries Mojo with this thunderbolt after returning to his normal self-thanks to the Antidote X in an attempt to avenge his trainer. After Blossom flew down and pulled Ash out, he was nonresponsive. His lips were blue, and his eyes were shut. Pikachu attempted to revive his trainer with its electric attacks, but it was no use. Ash lost a lot of blood and somehow died. Not wanting to give up, the girls transmit their powers to help heal Ash's wounds and revive him. In an instant, Ash miraculously woke up and rose to his feet once more. Since then, Ash never forgave Mojo for betraying the girls and for almost killing him. Throughout the series, Ash often fights Mojo, and he often taunts Ash and Pikachu by calling them weak angering them both. Mojo often gets annoyed with Pikachu frying him with thunderbolt. Ash was deeply angered when Mojo turned the citizens and the girls into dogs, kidnapping the professor, Bubbles and the mayor, pretending to be nice when the girls' ball crashed through the window, creating the Rowdyruff boys almost killing the girls, giving them a giant robot for their birthday, knocking Bubbles out, attempting to remove the girls' powers, attempting to force the kids to destroy the girls, throwing the Antidote X during a slumber party and his other destructive machines he created to attempt to destroy the girls. Ash is still distrustful towards Mojo since he teamed up with the girls to defeat an alien. Ash felt satisfied whenever Mojo goes to jail but disappointed whenever he breaks out of jail. Mojo dismissively remarks to Ash that he is not changing him whenever he attempts to lecture him.
