Ash has a strong hatred towards Jafar since he his first encounter with him. Ash first met Jafar who disguised himself as an old man in the dungeon. He soon felt outraged upon learning that Jafar attempted to use Aladdin as his pawn to steal the lamp from the Cave of Wonders and then use the genie's power to usurp the throne of Agrabah. During the battle in Jafar's snake form, he bit Ash's arm and nearly killed him with his snake venom. In Jafar's genie form during the sequel, he injured Ash by punching and slashing him. However, thanks to the miraculous help from his former minion, Iago, Ash was still able to defeat Jafar for good when he sent his lamp plummeting into the lava pit below, completely destroying it along with his enemy.
