*'''Madame Medusa''': Penny, dear! Auntie Medusa wants to talk to you! (puts on nightgown, angrily to herself) High tide or not. That little brat is going to find me that diamond tomorrow or else! (hears a knock, sweetly) Come on, come in.

*'''Penny''': Did you want to see me, ma'am?

*'''Madame Medusa''': Why, yes, my dear. Don't be so shy. (chuckles) Now, I'm going to let bygones be bygones. Do you know what would make Auntie Medusa very happy?

*'''Penny''': Yes, you want me to find that diamond.

*'''Madame Medusa''': That's right, dear.

*'''Penny''': But I've tried as hard as I could. Honest!

*'''Madame Medusa''': Of course, you have. But we must try harder, mustn't we?

*'''Penny''': Then, please, will you take me back to the orphanage... like you promised?

*'''Madame Medusa''': Penny, don't you like it here? A big, beautiful boat all to yourself?

*'''Penny''': But if I don't get back to the orphanage... I'll never get adopted.

*'''Madame Medusa''': Adopted? What makes you think anyone would want a homely little girl like you?
*(A hurt Penny began to cry then she leaves the room and closed the door. She walks to the balcony crying softly.)

*Penny: Good night, Teddy. (kisses her teddy and tucking him in) Sleep tight. (blows the flame off the candle) Oh! We almost forgot to say our prayers. (praying) Please bless Rufus and Teddy, (Bernard, Bianca, Ash and his friends quietly sneak onto the riverboat) and all the kids of the orphanage, Jennifer, Bobby, Mary, Julie. And please let someone find my bottle. There's a message in it. Because running away isn't working. Amen. (on the verge of tears) Don't worry, Teddy we'll...we'll be alright.
*(Penny starts crying, Ash Ketchum and his friends quietly come into Penny's room and begin feeling sorry for her. Bernard and Bianca come in through the window and climb down on Penny's pillow. Then a sympathetic Ash walks up to Penny.)

*'''Ash Ketchum''': (takes his hat off to introduce himself to her; clears throat) Penny? (taps her shoulder) Penny?

*'''Pikachu:''' (goes up to her) Pika?

*'''Penny''': (stops crying and looks up) Yes?

*'''Ash Ketchum''': Penny. Penny, it's alright. Don't be scared. We're good guys and we're here to help you.

*'''Ash Ketchum''': My name is Ash Ketchum. This is my partner, Pikachu.

(The gang laughs in amusement)

*'''Penny''': (imitates Medusa) Track her down, boys. Bring her back!

*'''Bianca''': And we'll be so far ahead, they'll never catch us.

*'''Brock''': Uh, hold it, guys. We're forgetting one tiny detail: her swamp machine.

*'''Bernard''': Yeah, he's right. She might catch us in her swamp mobile.

*'''Penny''': We'll swipe it! I've always wanted to drive it. (imitates swamp mobile)

*'''Fred Jones''': Yeah, that's a good idea. We'll hijack her swamp mobile and use it as a getaway.

*'''Daffy Duck''': But if she wakes up once we start it? We could get into serious trouble.

*'''Shaggy Rogers''': Like don't ever mention the word trouble, man.

*'''Scooby-Doo''': Yeah.

*'''Velma Dinkley:''' Hmm, Daffy's got a good point there, fellas. Even if we do help her get away in the swamp mobile, she'll still track us down.

*'''Daphne Blake''': We just need to create some sort of diversion that would buy us time to escape.

*'''Penny''': How about Mr. Snoops' fireworks? We'll shoot them off in her bedroom. That will keep her busy.

*'''Bugs Bunny''': Hmm, I like that idea. Daffy and I will handle the firework business. Won't we, Daf?

*'''Daffy Duck''': That's right, pal. Leave that to us!

*'''Bianca''': Oh, guys, it's so exciting! Perfume, crocs, swamp mobiles! Hoo-hoo! It just got to work!

*'''Bernard''': It's our only chance. But we're gonna need help.

*'''Madame Medusa''': (off-screen) Snoops! Snoops, get down here!

*'''Misty''': (gasps) It's her!

*'''Mr. Snoops''': W-what's up, Medusa? W-what's going on? (closes door)

*'''Madame Medusa''': (off-screen) Oh, shut up! High tide or not....

*'''Penny''': I bet those people are up to something. Gee, I don't wanna go down in that awful black hole again.

*'''Bianca''': Don't worry about that, dear.

*'''Ash Ketchum''': Yeah, Penny, you don't have to worry about that. In fact, I've got a plan.

*'''Brock''': What's the plan, Ash?

*'''Pikachu''': Pika?

*'''Ash Ketchum''': We're going to use the diamond as a diversion to provide us time to set up Penny's escape route.

*'''Bugs Bunny''': Uh, but we'd be helping the enemy instead of rescuing Penny.

*'''Ash Ketchum''': No. We'd be keeping her occupied for the time being before rescuing Penny. If it's a diamond she wants, then it's a diamond she's gonna get. Now, Penny, I want you to listen to me carefully. Scooby, Shaggy, Misty, Brock, and I will go into the cave and help you find the diamond. Don't worry about the tides. We'll protect you. Bernard, Bianca, you will be joining in the search too. But you're gonna have to stay with Penny to keep her company for a while. Okay?

*'''Bianca''': Of course, dear.

*'''Ash Ketchum''': The rest of you guys, stay on this boat and get everything in order. We'll let you know when we're ready. And Penny, we promise we'll take you back to the orphanage and I'm sure there will be a loving family waiting for you there.

*'''Penny''': You think so?

*'''Ash Ketchum''': Yeah, I know so. Tomorrow morning, meet us at the bottom of the cave and we'll make sure that it is safe for you to find the diamond.

*Penny: Oh, thank you Ash. (Hugs Ash)
*Bianca: Now, you must hurry and get dressed.
*Bernard: Come on! We haven't got much time. (calling) Evinrude? Up here!
*(Evinrude flies to him)
*Bernard: We need help! Go get Ellie Mae! And hurry!
*(Evinrude understood and flew off into the swamp but then flies by a bat swarm as they notice. Evinrude continues but then the bats flew after him. Evinrude notices and flies for his life as the bats pursued trying to eat him till Evinrude flew into a web and broke through while the bats zoomed past the web causing the spider to get tangled up as he shakes in anger cursing them. Evinrude flies for his life till he took cover in a glass bottle as the bats tried to get him but no luck. Then we see Ellie Mae's house and hear cheering)
*Ellie Mae: Are you ready to help rescue that little young 'un?
*Deadeye: Sure enough, Ellie Mae!
*(All cheered)
*Deacon Owl: Hallelujah!
*(We see Luke sleeping with his jug of moonshine)
*Ellie Mae: Luke! (stomps on the rocking chair) On your feet, you lazy critter!
*Luke: (wakes up) Oh, uh... Shucks, Ellie Mae. I was just a-waitin' for someone to holler, "Charge!"
*Gramps: Dag nab it! Let's cut out the jawin' and get it goin'!
*Deadeye: (chuckling) When old Gramps gets head up, his nose gets plum out of joint. (chuckles)
*Ellie Mae: (checks) Take it easy, Gramps. We gotta stay here till Evinrude brings us word from them mice and their friends.
*Gramps: If that bug don't get here soon, they'll put that poor little girl down the black hole again.
