(As Ash and the gang swim Ariel and Flounder home, they are unknowingly being watched by two eels with menacing glowing eyes. But they're not the only ones that are being watched. In fact, an old enemy from Ash's past has been spying on them through the eyes of the two eels. His old enemy is a wicked sea witch who had been banished by King Triton many years ago and has placed powerful evil spells on innocent merfolk with her dangerous magic that all ocean dwellers feared her. His old enemy is known as Ursula. She is seen sitting in the shadows watching Ariel through her magic bubble.)

''Ariel backs up, wide-eyed.''

ARIEL: ''(shrugging)'' Nothing - happened...

TRITON: ''(slapping his hand to his face and growled at me)'' Oh, Ariel, how many times must we go through this? You could've been seen by one of those barbarians - by - by one of those humans!

ARIEL: Daddy, they're not barbarians!

TRITON: They're dangerous. ''(picking up Ariel's chin and looking at his eye)'' Do you think I want to see my youngest daughter snared by some fish-eater's hook?

ARIEL: ''(backing away and shaking her head)'' I'm sixteen years old - I'm not a child anymore -

TRITON: ''(wagging his finger angrily)'' Don't you take that tone of voice with me young lady!

(Ariel leaves the throne room, crying)

Flounder: Ariel are you okay?

Ash Ketchum: You feeling alright?

Ariel: If only I could make him understand. I just don't see things the way he does. I don't see how a world that makes such wonderful things, could be bad.

(Sebastian gasps upon seeing his own reflection and fall to a cup)

(After hearing that song, Ash began to feel a bit sad. He realizes that she really does want to become part of their human world. Now, he is torn between keeping his human heritage a secret from her forever and telling her the truth that would lead to severing her and her family and friends' trust. He looks into his mermaid suit and stares down at his human legs along with his feet in sadness. He kept his human heritage a secret from her for far too long and it feels like that the time had come to finally tell her the truth. But he never thought it would come so soon.)

Misty: (sighs sadly) Aw, Ariel, we don't care what grownups say. And you're right. You're nothing compared to your father.

(Just as Ash was about to speak up, the mug Sebastian got stuck in rolled down and broke and he fell to Jack-in-the-box, and he ends up grabbing hold off a sheet as it then fell down with him and other human items with a big crash)

(Flounder swims into a knight's helmet scared)

Ash's friends: Huh?

Ash Ketchum: What the?!

Ariel: (notice with gasp)

(She and the others find Sebastian with a smoke pipe in his mouth on accordion)

Ariel, Ash, and the others: Sebastian!

(Flounder notices.)

(Sebastian spits out the pipe and fell down)

Sebastian: Ariel, Ash, everyone, what are you.... How could you... What is all this?!

???: Well...

Ariel: It's uh... It's just my collection.

???: (laughs nervously) Right, her collection.

Sebastian: Oh, I see. Your collection, hmm. IF YOUR FATHER KNEW ABOUT THIS PLACE....

Flounder: You're not gonna tell him, are you?

Ash Ketchum: (grabs him and shakes him in a panic) Please Sebastian! We beg of you! Don't tell her father! Please!!

Ariel: Oh, please Sebastian. He would never understand.

Sebastian: Ariel, you're under a lot of pressure down here. Come with me. (takes Ariel's hand) I'll take you home and I'll get you something warm to..

(Just then, something above the grotto is blocking the moonlight and made everything dark.)

'''Bolin''': I don't know.

'''Sebastian''': Ariel? (Ariel leaves the grotto) Ariel!

'''Ash Ketchum''': Where are you going?

(Ariel swims up to the surface and from what she sees to her amazement, a ship sailing out in the open sea and fireworks are going off. It was a beautiful sight to see. She is then joined by Flounder, Sebastian, Ash, and his friends.)

'''Ash Ketchum''': (gasps) Whoa! Look at that!

Pikachu: (amazed) Pika!

'''Brock''': Fireworks!

'''Misty''': Oh, they're beautiful!

'''Kimberly Ann Hart''': Isn't it wonderful?

'''Zhane''': This is so cool!

'''Kronk''': Yeah, really cool!

'''Sebastian''': Ariel, what are you-? (gasps upon seeing Eric’s ship) Jumping jellyfish!

(Excited with curiosity, Ariel begins swimming up to the ship as fireworks continue to explode in the sky.)

Sebastian: Ariel! Ariel, please, come back!

Ash Ketchum: I’ll go and get her, Sebastian! Let’s go, Pikachu!

Pikachu: Pika!

Ash Ketchum: I’ll be right back, guys!

(Ariel notices Ash and Pikachu coming to her)

'''Scuttle''': Ooh, I gotcha. I gotcha. We're bein' intrepidacious. (loudly) WE'RE OUT TO DISCOVER!

(Ariel shuts Scuttle's beak.)

'''Ash Ketchum''': (quietly) Will you be quiet?!

Pikachu: (agrees; softly) Pikachu!

'''Ariel''': I've never seen a human this close before. (sighs) He's very handsome, isn't he?

(Ariel watches heavenly at Eric as he dances and plays the flute with his dog. Ash, on the other hand, feels a bit uneasy due to the fact that he's a human himself, which is something Ariel is unaware of.)

'''Ash Ketchum''': Yeah, (laughs nervously) he sure is. (frowns)

Pikachu: Pika?

'''Scuttle''': (referring to Max) I don't know. He looks kinda hairy and slobbery to me.

'''Ash Ketchum''': (chuckles) No, no, no. That's his dog, silly. She was referring to that guy. (points to Prince Eric)

Pikachu: (affirmative) Pikachu.

Ariel: Yeah. The one playing the snarfblatt.

(Then the music stops as Grimsby comes in)

Grimsby: Silence, silence. It is now my honor and privilege to present our esteemed Prince Eric with a very special, very expensive, very large birthday present.

Sailors: (cheered)

Prince Eric: Ah. Grimsby, (gives a pat in the back at Grimsby) ya old beanpole, you shouldn't have.

Grimsby: I know.

(One of the sailors gets hold of the cloth covering the present)

Grimsby: Happy birthday, Eric.

(The sailor uncovers the gift to be Prince Eric in a uniform with a sword looking bold)

Sailors: (gasping)

(Eric didn't seemed to amused while Max growled)

Prince Eric: Uh, gee, grim... Ha! (clears throat) It's, uh... It's really somethin'.

Grimsby: Yes, I commissioned it myself. Of course, I had hoped it would be a wedding present.

Prince Eric: (chuckles) Come on, Grim. Don't start. (takes his telescope and walks to the rails as Ariel, Scuttle, Ash, and Pikachu get down) Look, you're not still sore because I didn't fall for the Princess of Glowerhaven, are you?

(He tosses Grimsby the telescope back)

Grimsby: Oh, my! Eric, it isn't me alone. The entire kingdom wants to see you happily settle down with the right girl.

Prince Eric: Oh, she's out there somewhere, I just... I just haven't found her yet.

(Ariel smiled while listening to the conversation)

Grimsby: Perhaps you haven't been looking hard enough.

Prince Eric: Believe me, Grim. When I find her, I'll know. Without a doubt, it'll just, bam, hit me, like lightning.

(Thunder roars above the clouds alert Eric and Grimsby)

'''Ash Ketchum''': Uh-oh. Ariel, Scuttle, Pikachu, grab onto something and hold on tight. This is gonna be a bumpy ride.

'''Sailor #1''': Hurricane-a-coming!

(The wind becomes stronger, and the rain starts to fall down faster.)

'''Sailor #2''': Stand fast! Secure the rigging!

(Prince Eric and the crew spring into action as they try to brace the storm. Now, what started out as a fun birthday celebration turned into a desperate struggle for survival.)

'''Misty''': Oh, no! It's a big storm!

'''Brock''': It will be tough for those people on the ship to get back to shore with waves like this!

'''Misty''': What?!

'''Jack Skellington''': I'm afraid he's right, Misty. We gotta hurry and get Ash and Ariel off of there before it gets worse!

'''Brock''': Right! Let's move!

(The storm gets more violent as thunder and wind roars, the waves push the ship left to right, and the rain beats down real hard. Eric and his crew try with all their might to pull their sail up to keep their ship from spiraling out of control. Max barks frantically and gets really nervous with the storm. Flounder, Sebastian, and the rest of Ash's group struggle to brave the waves. Ash, Pikachu, and Ariel held on tight to the ship's ropes. Scuttle, on the other hand, was unable to hold on good enough and starts to get blown away by the wind.)

'''Scuttle''': Whoa! (grabs on a rope and tries to hold on) The wind's all of sudden on a move here! (slips off as the wind blows him away) Yo! ARIEL!!!!!

'''Ariel''': (gasps) Scuttle!

'''Ash Ketchum''': No, Ariel! We can't worry about him now!

'''Ariel''': But, Ash...

'''Ash Ketchum''': Don't worry! He'll be alright! Right now, we need to focus on saving ourselves!

Pikachu: (affirmative) Pika!

(The ship's captain, who is manning the steering wheel, gets pushed away by the wind, driving the ship off course. The ship made a big splash in the water, and this caused a huge wave over the ship, getting everyone wet. Eric grabbed the steering wheel and tries to get the ship back on track with all his might. As this horrific storm rages on, Ash, Pikachu, and Ariel continue to hold on. However, the pressure of the storm is just too much for them to handle. A fierce blast of wind pushes them both off the ship and sends them flying back into the ocean.)

'''Ash & Ariel''': (screaming as they fall off)

'''Pikachu''': (screaming) Pikachu!!!

(They both landed safely in the water and were unharmed. They both swam up and resurfaced.)

'''Ash Ketchum''': You okay, Ariel? You didn't get hurt?

'''Ariel''': No. What about you?

'''Ash Ketchum''': I'm okay, thanks. How about you, buddy?

Pikachu: (affirmative) Pika!

'''Brock''': There you two are!

'''Misty''': Oh, thank goodness! You had us worried!

'''Trini Kwan''': Are you both alright?

'''Kimberly Ann Hart''': Did you hurt yourselves?

'''Ash Ketchum''': We're fine, Kimberly. But the storm is getting worse. We need to seek shelter immediately.

(Suddenly, a bolt of lightning surprises the gang and it strikes the main sail of the ship, setting it on fire.)

'''Ariel''': (gasps)

'''Brock''': It's on fire!

'''Misty''': And it's blown off course! It's heading straight for those rocks!

'''Ash Ketchum''': Everyone, swim for your lives! It's gonna crash!

(Ariel, Ash and the gang immediately swim for cover as the ship braces for impact.)

'''Prince Eric''': Look out!

(His men scream and run around. The ship crashes into the rocks, knocking them all off. The group watched in horror as Prince Eric and his crew become endangered in such a disastrous predicament. Prince Eric's statue sinks into the water. Grimsby tries to get it but is grabbed by Eric.)

'''Prince Eric''': Grim, hang on! (pulls him up into his lifeboat)

(Back with Ash and the gang)

'''Ash Ketchum''': Is everybody okay?

'''Tommy Oliver''': Yes, Ash. We're all fine.

(Max is heard barking.)

'''Ash Ketchum''': Oh, no. It's his dog!

'''Ash Ketchum''': The prince's dog! He's still on the burning ship!

(Everyone gasps in horror. Max is in fact still on the ship with fire surrounding him.)

The fire then proceeds to burn into the room full of explosives. Eric managed to reach his dog as he barked for his owner.)

They are completely worn out after a long, crazy night of firefighting. But as a result, their bodies are blackened with soot, smoked from the fire, and are suffering first and second-degree burns.)

(But Triton, in his rage, refused to stop. He continued pointing his trident at one artifact and then another, mindlessly destroying everything in his path.)

(But the angry merman refused to stop and rethink. Seeing that it was futile to calm the angry king down, Brock turned to his friends.)

(Ash and his friends frantically looked around, trying to find a way out, but with Triton blocking the main exit, and several blasts from the trident coming from here and there, they were trapped. One of Triton's blasts slashes Ash's arm, opening a deep cut on it. Ash let out a cry in pain. Ariel swam to her angry father and tried stopping him, but it was no use. The only treasure left in the grotto was the statue of Eric. Seeing that he is now focused on that, Ariel turned to her angry father.)

'''Ariel''': Daddy, no!

(But Triton ignored the pleas of his frightened daughter and blasted the statue. Everyone ducked for cover as the statue cracked apart before blowing up in a big explosion. Pieces of the statue flew around the grotto as the explosion subsided. The trident calmed down as Ariel looked in horror at where the statue was. Her grotto, full of many treasures just minutes ago, was now a barren cave with much wreckage. Overcome with sadness, Ariel collapsed onto the ground and started sobbing. As for Ash and the others, they were shocked too and in fright of the chaos that destroyed Ariel's collection and injured Ash. They watched Ariel cry and felt terrible for her. But Trini, while very sympathetic for Ariel, started getting angry as she turned to Triton, teeth grinned, head shaking and anger rising. Triton sternly looked at her daughter and Ash's friends. Everyone except Ariel looked at the king with fearful expressions, but Trini continued her angry glare at the king, as if she was going to harshly criticize him for what he had done. But Ash stops her knowing his arm is answered and had one thing to say to the king.)

(Triton heard those words from Ash and it hit him really hard. But knowing that his time in the grotto was over, the sea king didn't bother to say another word and turned to leave. Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder, Ash and the gang were the only ones left in the grotto and they were all terrified at what just happened. (The heroes leave the grotto with sad faces. Ash, who feels just as sorry and remorseful for Ariel as Sebastian is, turned and looked at his friend in sadness. Ariel was now on her own, sobbing over losing her treasures, all that she collected for years, and the Eric statue, the newest and most fascinating treasure of them all. She was now left with nothing. Just then, Ursula's eels, Flotsam and Jetsam, was watching from above. Seeing that Ariel is alone, they take advantage of the situation and slither into the grotto.)

(The voice, glowing brightly outside of Ariel's neck, was sucked into Ursula's nautilus shell necklace. Ursula watched menacingly as the voice disappeared in the shell. With Ariel's voice now hers, Ursula sent a magic bubble over Ariel while cackling maniacally. Ash, his gang, Sebastian and Flounder watched in complete horror as Ariel was transforming from mermaid, into human. It was absolutely frightening for them. The beautiful, green tail that covered Ariel from the waist down disappeared and was replaced by two legs. Now having transformed Ariel into a human, the bubble disappeared, but now Ariel was left unable to breath underwater and she couldn't swim either. Ash, his gang, Sebastian and Flounder gasp in horror at the predicament Ariel is now in.)

'''Ash Ketchum''': (gasps) She can't breathe nor swim!

'''Jack Skellington''': Quickly, everyone! Get her to the surface now!

(Ursula continues to laugh. The group jump out of their hiding places, rush over to Ariel, and swam up to the surface as fast as they could. As everyone helps Ariel reach the surface, Ash stares down at Ursula in anger, knowing that she is up to no good for sure. They made it up to the surface just in time. Ariel breathes the breath of air for the first time. With that problem solved, everyone guides her to the nearby shore. But will they be able to help their friend, especially in this dire time, and without her voice? This was now a serious problem for them.)

But over the course of the years since her banishment, she somehow managed to find new ways to bring most of her magic powers back. And now, she's becoming more dangerous than ever. Luring victims into her hideout, making deals to them, and placing evil spells on them. Spells that would (shivers) make you cringe so badly to the point where your spines tingle. (As the dress was hung from the clothesline, it was moved towards the nearby castle. Sebastian jumped out and landed in a room through a window. Relieved to be out of that experience, Sebastian started to get up, but as he did, he saw something absolutely horrifying: beheaded fish with sharp blades, cooked mollusks in a pan, and worst of all, stuffed crab in plates. This was the castle kitchen, and the sight of so many dead sea creatures was too much for Sebastian to take. He fainted in fear.)

(He turns to his kitchen knives and grabs them while throwing them to Sebastian as he panickily runs under a counter as Louise check the hole he went in while Sebastian dropped a bowl of sauce on his head and Louis growls mad and lifted his butcher's knife to air and stomped into the counter only to find no sing of Sebastian as he looks and then spots him running as Louis tosses one knife to block his way. Sebastian ran under Louis to a huge kitchen shelf with glass dishes. Louis runs screaming with a hammer as Sebastian takes cover while Louis jumps and crashed into the shelve with a big CRASH as Ariel, Eric, Grimsby, Carlotta, Ash, and the heroes heard from the table)

Eric continued gazing at the woman, happy to have made a new friend. In her room, Ariel combed her hair with a fork as Sebastian complained about his experience in the kitchen.)

King Triton and his daughters managed to get away, but Ariel's mother wasn't so lucky. She stayed behind to recover her music box. But unfortunately, she ended up.... ended up...

I thought it was the stupidest thing to do, and someone else agreed with me. (points to Ariel) It was her.

'''Ash Ketchum''': Yes, but here's the thing. When I first met Ariel, she thought I was a merperson like her. But in actuality, I wasn't because I was wearing flippers while trying to look for my partner, Pikachu, after it wandered off. For she mistook my flippers as a tailfin that looked identical to hers. When I heard about the banning of music in Atlantica, I had a really bad feeling that the king might also have a hatred to humans. I was afraid of what he might do to me if I revealed myself to him and reveal you guys as well. So, in order to protect my true identity, I had no choice but to make you all dress up like merpeople to fit in with the other merfolk. But in order to protect you guys from the king's anger during our visits and to keep our secret safe, I went to Zordon for his help. I told him about the problem I'm having with the sea king's hatred towards humans straining with my friendship towards Ariel and he reluctantly agreed by granting us the ability to breathe underwater. But on the condition to not get caught up in the act nor go too far in deceiving everyone.

As Ariel cried, she looked at the ship, having headed a distance away from the docks as a tear landed in the water. Flounder, having heard of Eric dumping Ariel for Vanessa, was equally sad and helpless. He now felt that he was going to lose his best friend to the sea witch forever. Ash and his friends are still shocked after what just happened.)

(The old ships began to come up to the surface as Ariel, along with Ash's friends hold onto to whatever they can grab onto. Meanwhile, Ash barely manages to get himself to safety with Pikachu. But, much to his horrific surprise, he sees Ariel and his team at the mercy of Ursula. Ariel grabs hold of a rock and watches with horror as Eric nearly gets hit by the bow of a shipwreck.)

(Underwater Eric grabs hold of a rope and climbs his way on board of the ship)

(Ariel held onto the rock she's grabbing on till Ursula notices and fires her trident on Ariel, causing her fall into the whirlpool)

(As for Eric, he struggled to get to the wheel with the roaring waves colliding into it. At the bottom of the whirlpool, Ariel looked up and saw Ursula staring down at her with an evil grin. She unleashed more devastating blasts from the trident. She fired twice, but Ariel barely managed to dodge both shots.)

'''Misty''': Oh no! Ariel is in trouble!

'''Jack Skellington''': Guys, we gotta do something!

(Ash, not wanting to give up on Ariel, climbs on the rock he was holding on and stands firmly)

'''Ash Ketchum''': Pikachu, Thunderbolt!

(Pikachu using Thunderbolt and hit Ursula.)

'''Ursula''': You little fool! She's not the only one who'll be perishing at my hands! You'll be dying along with her! (fires her trident at Ash and Pikachu and sends him falling into the same whirlpool Ariel fell in)

(Ash grabs onto Pikachu and they both prepare to brace for impact.)

(Charizard roars really loud)

'''Tommy Oliver''': It must've flown here when it learned that Ash was in need of help.

(Charizard stares angrily at Ursula and lets out a mighty roar. Ursula growls in anger and fires her trident at Charizard. Charizard builds up its power and fires a really powerful Dragon Rage attack. The two energy attacks collide and create an explosion. Everyone, including Ariel, takes cover from the explosion's force. The smoke clears and Charizard is still flying. Ursula is stunned at what Charizard did and shook in fear.)

'''Kimberly Ann Hart''': Wow! That was incredible!

'''Korra''': His Charizard has grown more powerful than ever!

'''Jack Skellington''': Amazing!

(Charizard places Ash and Pikachu on its back.)

'''Ash Ketchum''': Thanks so much, Charizard. We owe you one. Now, let's defeat her together with our true power!

(Charizard grunts in agreement)

'''Ursula''': Fool! You think you have what it takes to defeat me with that creature?

'''Ash Ketchum''': Don't get cocky, Ursula! My Charizard is incredibly stronger than you and it will take you down! (looks down at King Triton) King Triton, I know you come to think that humans are dangerous and violent monsters. But there's something you don't realize about them. There are humans out there that are kind, generous, honest, brave, loyal, and very compassion to anyone. (turns over to Ursula) Humans are not meant to hurt the kingdom of Atlantica. I've seen humans do wonderful things to the oceans around the world. And year after year, the creatures of the deep managed to live in peace and harmony, thanks to humanity's generous acts of kindness and love! I may have made a horrible mistake in lying to the kingdom about me and my friends being merfolk. But as humans, it doesn't mean that we shouldn't show the ocean creatures how much we care about them! We respect all living things in this world and we will do what it takes to protect them from evil doers like you, Ursula!

(King Triton, as a polyp, overheard Ash's speech and was deeply touched. Sebastian and Flounder was deeply touched as well. Ariel smiled proudly at Ash.)

'''Ursula''': Hmm. A very touching speech, boy. But that's still not going to stop me from becoming the mighty ruler of the oceans!

'''Ash Ketchum''': We'll just see about that, sea witch! Charizard, Pikachu, let's go!

(Charizard roars and flies up towards Ursula to begin the ultimate battle. Charizard begins by firing Flamethrower at Ursula. She fights back by using the trident. Both attacks collide and explode, making everyone take cover from the blast. Charizard then flies straight into Ursula and claws into her face with its Slash attack. It then whacks her with its Dragon Tail attack. Then it flies upward, dives downward and zooms left to right to tackle Ursula with its Wing Attack. Ursula growls angrily and fires her trident several times. But Charizard dodges some of them and uses Slash to slice one of the blasts in half, causing it to explode. As the smoke clears, Ursula furiously looks around and sees Ash, Pikachu and Charizard no where in sight. But, much to everyone's surprise, Ash, Pikachu, and Charizard appear behind Ursula and Charizard and Pikachu fire a barricade of Flamethrower and Thunderbolt around her. Charizard then fires a massive ball of Dragon Rage at Ursula and she takes a direct hit.)

(Back on the shipwreck, Eric made it to the steering wheel and prepares to steer the ship to the sea witch.)

(Back in the battle Ash, Pikachu, and Charizard were still battling the Ursula. Pikachu fired its Thunderbolt at Ursula's eyes much to her frustration. Then Charizard fired its Flamethrower to her hand as she screamed. Agitated she fires the trident at them again it seems like it she had defeated them as she grinned before turning her attention to Ariel)

(Ursula evil laugh)

'''Ursula''': So much for true love!

(She prepares to finish with Ariel as she looks with horror. But then gets blasted by Thunderbolt and Flamethrower again. She looks with shock to find Ash, Charizard, and Pikachu were still active)

'''Ash Ketchum''': Not so fast, Ursula! We're not finished with you yet!

(Ursula growls angrily and fires her trident at them. This time, Charizard grabs the blast and holds it down as long as it can until it deflects it up into the sky. The blast launches into space until it explodes in the sky. Charizard growls viciously at the villainous sea witch. Charizard detects Eric's ship behind him, gives a satisfied smirk, flaps its wings, and flies upwards. Eric turns the wheel to port towards Ursula as she gasps and get poked by the front bowsprit and screams letting her mouth open wide. Ash takes notice of Eric's action steering the ship into Ursula and smiles confidently at the prince while Eric gives him a thumbs up.)

'''Ash Ketchum''': (turns his attention back to Ursula with determination) THIS ENDS NOW!!! Pikachu, Charizard, destroy the sea witch! Flamethrower and Thunderbolt MAXIMUM POWER!!!!!

(Pikachu leaps in the air and charges its electricity with the lightning. Charizard builds up its power as the flame on its tail grew bigger. Together, they both fire a combination of Thunderbolt and Flamethrower. The two attacks then mend together and formed a shape of a golden dragon.)

'''Ursula''': Nooooooooo!

(Ursula screams in horror as the attacks fly straight into her mouth and as a result the attacks destroys her insides. Combined with the Pokémon's attacks, the trident's powers, the bolts of lightning, and the splintered bowsprit Eric impaled through, this was surely the beginning of the end to the wicked sea witch. The dying Ursula collapses onto the shipwreck Eric was on, but he managed to abandon ship as she and the shipwreck sink. Sebastian, Flounder, and the others cover their eyes as Ursula sunk to her demise and perishes in a blinding explosion underwater. Eric crawls to the shore and collapses from exhaustion. Ash is still in the air with Charizard and Pikachu. Ash looks down and sees the remains of his most dangerous and powerful enemy sinking into the ocean while the storm clears.)

'''Ash Ketchum''': (sighs) Finally. It's over.

(Charizard turns and flies to the shore. The crown and trident sank alongside them. Some of the remains sank into Ursula’s lair. All the polyps that surrounded the lair saw that Ursula had been killed and started smiling. They suddenly changed back into merpeople as the effects from the witch’s spells wore off for good. As the merpeople left the abandoned lair, the trident and crown landed near the polyp that was Triton. His spell also wore off and he was transformed back into his merman form. He happily took his trident, regaining his royal status as the rightful ruler of the ocean. Soon, the sun rises and a new day dawns. All of Ash's friends helped Ariel to the surface. Ariel looked around and sees that Ursula is gone for good. But Ash is nowhere to be seen. She finds Eric unconscious near the shore moments before Charizard lands safely next to him. Ash and Pikachu climb off of Charizard's back.)

'''Misty''': (laughs and hugs Ash) Way to go, Ash!

'''Brock''': That's our buddy! (laughs while giving Ash a gentle noogie)

(Ash and Ariel embrace each other with a hug, rekindling their friendship in the process.)

And I felt bad for the way I treated you and your friends and for destroying your collection. It was wrong of me to do that and I never meant to hurt your feelings in such a selfish and arrogant way. Can you ever forgive me?

(King Triton then turns his attention to Ash. Ash bows down in respect for the sea king.)

I have deeply misjudged you for who you are and it was very disrespectful to say all those hurtful things to you and your friends. '''King Triton:''' Really. Although I was just trying to keep my daughter safe, there's no excuse for the way I've treated you and your friends. If there's anything I can do to make it up for what I've done, just tell me.

'''Ash Ketchum''': And second, you will lift the banning of allowing merpeople to visit the surface every once in a while. You've been so caught up from the pain in the past that you nearly severed the relationships with the people around you. And not only that, Ursula might have plotted to use your laws on the human world and the surface world against you as an advantage to her plans. I guess instead of bringing protection to your family, they only brought danger. I think it's time for you to move on and let go of the past by lifting the ban and allow them to visit the surface once again. So, no further danger can happen whatsoever.

'''King Triton''': (groans) I guess you're right. It is best to move on rather than staying stuck in the past and those laws have caused nothing but trouble.

'''Ash Ketchum''': Exactly. And one more thing. You will allow us to visit Atlantica as humans and teach your merpeople what we already know about the human world. You and your daughters showed us your world. Now, it is our turn to show you our world.

'''King Triton''': Very well. Perhaps there is more to humans than what I already know. (sighs) I was foolish to believe that all humans are dangerous, Ash. Since the death of my queen, I gave up on them too quickly.

'''Ash Ketchum''': Your majesty, it's not too late for you to learn more about them. You can't give up on them now. We may be humans, but when Ariel endangered herself to Ursula after your outburst in the grotto, we never gave up on her. You just got to keep believing that there's still goodness in humanity. ???: Uh, guys, we still have one problem. (points to Ariel) Look.

(They see that Ariel was going to miss Eric fearing it will be forever)

???: Looks like she's really gonna miss him.

???: (sighs) Yeah.

'''Ash Ketchum''': (feeling sorry) Oh, Ariel.

'''Sebastian''': Hmm... Well, it's like I always say, your majesty. Children got to be free to lead their own lives.

Falling in love with a handsome and kind human like Prince Eric was her choice. If she found someone she loves and wants to spend the rest of her life with, then she deserves to be happy. And as a father as well as a king, you should honor her decision with great respect.

(Sebastian looked surprised upon listening to what he just said)

(Ash and his friends smiled with excitement as King Triton uses his trident to send a golden light to float up to the rock Ariel is on. As it reaches her, her tail begins to glow. Ariel notices what's happening and gasps with shock and joy as she smiles happily to her father and friends. At the beach the unconscious Prince Eric woke up to witness Ariel, now human again and in a sparkly dress, come out of the ocean water to be with him. Eric ran up to her and lifted her up and spins around with her before bringing her down and the two lovebirds shared their first kiss)

(The scene changes to them in their wedding outfits still kissing till Max licked them)

'''Guests and Heroes''': (Cheer)

(Grimsby smiles while Carlotta cried on his tie much to his surprise)

(Then we see the guest waving out to Ariel's fellow merfolk)

(Triton and Ariel's sisters were seen watching happily with Andrina and Aquata waving out to them. Ariel says her goodbyes to Flounder and Scuttle. As the descend back down in the ocean, Ariel is rejoined by Eric.)

(The heroes watch how happy Ariel is with Eric)

'''Kimberly Ann Hart''': (sighs) It sure is great to see Ariel and Eric together for real this time.

'''Ash Ketchum''': Yeah. And you know what? I think my friendship with Ariel has improved as a result in our victory. I'm really proud to see that she and her father accepted for who we are and I'm really happy for her marriage with Eric, just like she wanted to.

'''Brock''': Yeah. Now that she's with her newlywed husband, she can explore the world with him. Now I wonder what new adventures lie in store for them.

(Ash Ketchum giggled and blushed.)

(Charizard approaches Ariel, and she gently pets it.)

(Charizard smiles affectionately at Ariel.)

'''Ash Ketchum:''' I love you too Ariel. Not only you've been like a big sister to me. You also became a second mother to me as well.

(Ariel embraces Ash in a loving hug as any mother could give. Ash Ketchum return the hug as well.)

'''Misty:''' Aw, that's so sweet. Ariel's got a big heart in the whole world. It must be nice for Ash to have a big sister to a mother figure like her.

'''Bolin:''' Well, I do have a big brother. But you could pass for my sister.

(Misty, upset at Bolin's comment, smacks him on the back of the head, sending him to the ground)

'''Brock:''' Grasshopper have little sense, but big mouth.

'''Mako:''' True, sensei Brock.

Rocky: (notices) Huh? (laughs) Hey, guys, look at Sebastian!

'''Ash and the others''': Huh? (They noticed and laughed)

(On the wedding cake Sebastian was seen tearing up happily holding two figures of Eric and Ariel. But then notices a familiar face.)

'''Sebastian''': (gasps shocked)

(It was Chef Louis with a butcher's knife as he raises it up.)

'''Sebastian''': (gasps)

(Sebastian jumps off the cake as Louis tries to slice him. Sebastian runs on deck with Louis in pursuit with his knife as he bangs it around trying to slice Sebastian but kept missing him. Sebastian runs to a rope line and notices that it connects to a wooden beam above him and looks at Louis as he charges to words him)

'''Chef Louis''': Ah-ha!

(As Louis was running to a cornered Sebastian, Sebastian proudly cuts the rope with his claw and the wooden beam smashes to Louis' teeth like a bell. Louis' teeth then fall off and he collapses defeated. Sebastian laughs and jumps down to the water where Scuttle and Flounder are)

'''Sebastian''': Yes! Thank you, thank you.

'''Ash Ketchum''': (laughs) Hey, Sebastian! (gives him a thumbs up and winks him) You're okay in my book!

'''Sebastian''': (gives Ash a thumbs up with his claw and winks him as well) Same to you, man! (laughs) Same to you! Whoo-hoo-hoo! (laughs)

(Ariel walks to the rail of the ship looking down to her father. Triton with the use of a magical wave comes up to Ariel and hugs her goodbye)

'''Ariel''': I love you, Daddy.

(Triton smiled at her daughter before turning to Eric, Ash and his friends. They all smiled and bowed before the king, bidding him a farewell. Triton nodded back to them, accepting them all as close friends and accepting Eric as a son-in-law. Even Charizard, making its acquaintance for the first time, bowed before the sea king. King Triton chuckled warmly and gives Charizard a gentle stroke to its face. He turned back to Ariel and bid her goodbye as his wave lowered him back to the ocean. Ariel blew her father a kiss before waving goodbye with Eric.)
