(chuckles) Well, angelfish, the solution to your problem is simple. The only way to get what you want is to become a human yourself.

'''Ariel''': (Gasps) Can you do that?

'''Ursula''': My dear, sweet child. That's what I do. It's what I live for: to help unfortunate merfolk, like yourself. Poor souls with no one else to turn too.

(sings) I admit that, in the past, I've been a nasty

They weren't kidding when they called me, well, "a witch"

But you'll find that nowadays, I've mended all my ways

Repented, seen the light, and made a switch.

True? Yes.

And I fortunately know a little magic

It's a talent that I always have possessed

(speaks) Now here's a deal. I will make you a potion that will turn you into a human for three days. Got that? Three days. Now, listen. This is important. Before the sun sets on the third day, you've got to get dear old princy to fall in love with you. That is, he's got to kiss you. Not just any kiss. The kiss of true love.

(Our heroes are sneak in and watch Ursula talking with Ariel about her deal.)

'''Ash Ketchum''': See, guys? That's her. That's Ursula.

'''Korra''': Eww. You're right, Ash. She is an ugly sea creature.

'''Ursula''': If he does kiss you before the sun sets on the third day, you'll remain human permanently. But if he doesn't, you'll turn back into a mermaid. And...you belong...to me.

'''Ash Ketchum''': (quietly) What?!

'''Sebastian''': No, Ariel!

(Floatsam and Jetsam silences Flounder and Sebastian by wrapping their tails around them.)

'''Ursula''': Have we got a deal?

'''Ariel''': If I become human, I'll never be with my father or sisters again.

'''Ursula''': That's right. And I couldn't help but notice that your so-called friend Ash Ketchum has lied to you during his visits in your kingdom. For he and his friends are humans and not merfolk for a long time. After all they also came from another world.

'''Ariel:''' What?

'''Ursula:''' But they had special help. That mysterious interdimensional being.

'''Ariel:''' (sighs)

'''Ursula''': You got it, sweetcakes. No more talking, singing. Zip!

And don't underestimate the importance of body language! Ha!

The men up there don't like a lot of blabber

They think a girl who gossips is a bore!

And after all, dear, what is idle prattle for?

(Ursula mixes potions into her cauldron)

Come on, you poor unfortunate soul

Go ahead! Make your choice!

I'm a very busy woman and I haven't got all day

It won't cost much. Just your voice!

You poor unfortunate soul

It's sad but true

If you want to cross the bridge, my sweet, you've got the pay the toll (creates a contract)

Take a gulp and take a breath, and go ahead and sign the scroll

Flotsam, Jetsam, now I've got her, boys

The boss is on a roll!

(Ariel, under pressure, but knowing that she could no longer trust her father, or Ash or Sebastian, and feeling that this was the only way for her to be with Eric, took the pen.)

THIS POOR UNFORTUNATE SOUL!

(Ariel signed her name on the contract as Sebastian, Flounder, Ash and the gang watched in horror. Their mermaid friend was selling her freedom for her desire. With Ariel having signed the contract, Ursula took the contract and prepared for Ariel's transformation. Waves of magic surrounded the duo as Ariel watched nervously.)

Beluga sevruga, come winds of the Caspian Sea

Larynxes, glossitis, ad max Laryngitis, la voce to me!

(Ursula summons big ghostly green hands)

'''Ursula''': Now sing!

'''Flounder''': (Kingdom Hearts 2 audio) Ariel! Don't!

'''Sebastian''': (sees Ash and the others, in Kingdom Hearts 2 audio) Ash, please. You got to stop her, mon!

'''Ash''': Stop!

'''Ursula''': Too late, Ashy Boy!

(Ariel start to sing. While she sings, her neck glows.)

'''Ursula''': Keep singing!

(The voice, glowing brightly outside of Ariel's neck, was sucked into Ursula's nautilus shell necklace. Ursula watched menacingly as the voice disappeared in the shell. With Ariel's voice now hers, Ursula sent a magic bubble over Ariel while cackling maniacally. Ash, his gang, Sebastian and Flounder watched in complete horror as Ariel was transforming from mermaid, into human. It was absolutely frightening for them. The beautiful, green tail that covered Ariel from the waist down disappeared and was replaced by two legs. Now having transformed Ariel into a human, the bubble disappeared, but now Ariel was left unable to breath underwater and she couldn't swim either. Ash, his gang, Sebastian and Flounder gasp in horror at the predicament Ariel is now in.)

'''Ash Ketchum''': (gasps) She can't breathe nor swim!

'''Jack Skellington''': Quickly, everyone! Get her to the surface now!

(Ursula continues to laugh. The group jump out of their hiding places, rush over to Ariel, and swam up to the surface as fast as they could. As everyone helps Ariel reach the surface, Ash stares down at Ursula in anger, knowing that she is up to no good for sure. They made it up to the surface just in time. Ariel breathes the breath of air for the first time. With that problem solved, everyone guides her to the nearby shore. But will they be able to help their friend, especially in this dire time, and without her voice? This was now a serious problem for them.)
