(She sees a statue of Prince Eric)

'''Ariel''': Oh, Flounder. Flounder, you're the best!

'''Jack Skellington''': Wow, look at that!

'''Misty''': What a glorious statue!

'''Zhane''': But where it come from?

'''Tommy Oliver''': And how did it get here?

'''Ariel''': It was on that ship we saw that one night of the storm. It looks just like him! It even has his eyes!

'''Brock''': Come to think of it, the statue does remind me of the prince.

'''Korra''': Yeah. He's quite a handsome guy.

'''Ariel''': (giggles) Why, Eric...Run away with you? (giggles) This is all so...so sudden. (spins around giggling with joy)

'''Mako''': Wait until Ash gets a load of that.

'''Bolin''': Yeah, he's gonna be so happy when he sees this newest addition to her collection.

'''Ash Ketchum''': Hey, easy there! Ow! Ow! Ow! Your Majesty, watch it! Ow! I need that ear! Ow, ow, ow, ow!

(Everyone turns and are shocked to see King Triton angrily dragging Ash by the ear into her grotto. They were surprised by his sudden appearance. Ariel notices her father holding Ash.)

'''Ariel''': (gasps) Daddy!

(Sebastian nervously looked and saw Ariel and her friends completely nervous of seeing Triton in the grotto. Flounder hide himself as Triton spoke to his daughter. King Triton releases Ash's ear)

'''Ash Ketchum''': Ow! (rubs his ear)

'''King Triton:''' I consider myself a reasonable merman. (enters the grotto) I set certain rules and I expect those rules to be obeyed.

'''Ariel''': But Daddy, I...

'''King Triton:''' Is it true you rescued a human from drowning?

'''Ariel''': Daddy, I had to...

'''King Triton''': (looks at Ash's friends in anger) And you! I've heard that you people along with Ash are humans in mermaid swimwear. It's something that Ash never told me all this time of knowing him! Is that true?

'''Mako''': What?! How did you know that?

'''King Triton''': I said is it true?!

'''Ariel''': (confused) Ash, what is Daddy talking about?

(Terrified of the king, but knowing that it was inevitable for the secret to be revealed, Ash swam up to the angry sea king)

'''Ash Ketchum''': Your majesty, it is true.

'''Ariel:''' What?!

(Ash sighs sadly and removes his mermaid swimwear to reveal his true identity he kept hidden from Ariel and her father since the day he met them. Ariel gasps in horror upon seeing Ash's legs for the first time. Sebastian and Flounder gasp in horror as well.)

'''Ash Ketchum''': We are humans in mermaid swimwear. In fact, there's more about us than what you think. You don't understand that...

'''Ariel''': Ash, you mean you were a human this whole time? And so, was everyone else? And you didn't even tell me?

'''Ash Ketchum''': Ariel, I-I-I can explain...

'''Ariel''': All this time, you've been lying to me? My friends? My father? My sisters? And everyone else?!

'''Ash Ketchum''': I was just wanted to help you and your father!

'''Ariel''': By tricking me into thinking you and your friends are merfolk?! Ash, you know how fascinated I am with the human world! Why would you keep you and your friends' identity a secret from me?! I thought you were my friend! I trusted you!!

'''Ash Ketchum''': Ariel, listen to me. If there's one thing in my entire life I could do to make up for, I...

'''King Triton:''' '''ENOUGH!!''' Young man, I have never in all my years thought I'd see the day when someone like you would put himself for the entire kingdom of Atlantica! You hid something that should've made me see that you and your friends are a threat! Then again, how could I have not questioned you about your ability to survive underwater for days on end? It should've been obvious upon first meet that you were hiding a crucial and dangerous secret! I thought you could be trusted in coming to Atlantica, but I was wrong!

'''Ariel''': But Daddy, he's only...

'''King Triton:''' (interrupts) And you, young lady! Contact between the human world and the merworld is strictly forbidden! Ariel, you know that! Everyone knows that!

'''Ariel''': But he would've died!

'''King Triton''': One less human to worry about!

'''Misty''': But you don't understand how much he means to her!

'''Korra''': And you don't even know him, your highness!

'''King Triton''': Know him? I don't have to know him! They're all the same just like the rest of you! Spineless, savage, harpooning fish-eaters! Incapable of any feeling… (those words deeply hurt Ash and the group really hard)

'''Ariel''': '''DADDY, I LOVE HIM!''' (gasps as she hides behind the statue)

(Sebastian, Ash, and the group gasp in shock)

'''King Triton:''' No! Have you lost your senses completely? He's a human, you're a mermaid!

'''Ariel:''' I don't care!

'''King Triton:''' So help me, Ariel, I am going to get through to you! And if this is the only way, '''SO BE IT'''!

(With his trident at full power, Triton pointed it towards one of Ariel's treasures and blasted it. The blast was intense, and it spooked everyone, including Sebastian.)

'''Ariel:''' Daddy! No, no, please!

'''Ash Ketchum:''' Stop it, your majesty!

(But Triton, in his rage, refused to stop. He continued pointing his trident at one artifact and then another, mindlessly destroying everything in his path.)

'''Ariel''': Daddy, stop! Daddy, stop it!

(But the angry merman refused to stop and rethink. Seeing that it was futile to calm the angry king down, Brock turned to his friends.)

'''Brock''': He's gone mad! Fall back, everyone!

(Ash and his friends frantically looked around, trying to find a way out, but with Triton blocking the main exit, and several blasts from the trident coming from here and there, they were trapped. One of Triton's blasts slashes Ash's arm, opening a deep cut on it. Ash let out a cry in pain. Ariel swam to her angry father and tried stopping him, but it was no use. The only treasure left in the grotto was the statue of Eric. Seeing that he is now focused on that, Ariel turned to her angry father.)

'''Ariel''': Daddy, no!

(But Triton ignored the pleas of his frightened daughter and blasted the statue. Everyone ducked for cover as the statue cracked apart before blowing up in a big explosion. Pieces of the statue flew around the grotto as the explosion subsided. The trident calmed down as Ariel looked in horror at where the statue was. Her grotto, full of many treasures just minutes ago, was now a barren cave with much wreckage. Overcome with sadness, Ariel collapsed onto the ground and started sobbing. As for Ash and the others, they were shocked too and in fright of the chaos that destroyed Ariel's collection and injured Ash. They watched Ariel cry and felt terrible for her. But Trini, while very sympathetic for Ariel, started getting angry as she turned to Triton, teeth grinned, head shaking and anger rising. Triton sternly looked at her daughter and Ash's friends. Everyone except Ariel looked at the king with fearful expressions, but Trini continued her angry glare at the king, as if she was going to harshly criticize him for what he had done. But Ash stops her knowing his arm is answered and had one thing to say to the king.)

'''Ash Ketchum:''' Do you honestly think that Athena would've wanted any of this, your majesty?

(Triton heard those words from Ash and it hit him really hard. But knowing that his time in the grotto was over, the sea king didn't bother to say another word and turned to leave. As he did, he couldn't help but feel that he went too far in scolding Ariel. He glimpsed at sad daughter with remorse before leaving with his head looking down. Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder, Ash and the gang were the only ones left in the grotto and they were all terrified at what just happened. Feeling terrible for Ariel, Sebastian approached the crying girl and tries to comfort her.)

'''Sebastian''': Ariel, I...

'''Ariel''': (softly) Just go away.

(Sebastian, remorseful for leading King Triton into the grotto, which resulted in the destruction of Ariel's treasures, leaves somberly with Flounder.)

'''Tommy Oliver''': We should go.

'''Jack Skellington''': Let's leave her alone for a while.

(The heroes leave the grotto with sad faces. Ash, who feels just as sorry and remorseful for Ariel as Sebastian is, turned and looked at his friend in sadness. But knowing that she just wanted to be alone, and not wanting to make her feel any more saddened, he turned and left the grotto with the others. Ariel was now on her own, sobbing over losing her treasures, all that she collected for years, and the Eric statue, the newest and most fascinating treasure of them all. She was now left with nothing. Just then, Ursula's eels, Flotsam and Jetsam, was watching from above. Seeing that Ariel is alone, they take advantage of the situation and slither into the grotto.)

'''Flotsam''': Poor child.

'''Jetsam''': Poor, sweet child.

'''Flotsam''': She has a very serious problem.

'''Jetsam''': If only there was something we could do.

'''Flotsam''': But there is something.

'''Ariel''': (slowly tries to calm down after the chaotic incident, she looks nervously at the eels) Who-who are you?

'''Jetsam''': Don't be scared.

'''Flotsam''': We represent someone who can help you.

'''Jetsam''': Someone who can make all your dreams come true.

'''Flotsam & Jetsam''': Just imagine.

'''Jetsam''': You and your prince.

'''Flotsam & Jetsam''': Together forever.

'''Ariel''': I don't understand.

'''Jetsam''': Ursula has great powers.

'''Ariel''': The sea witch? Why that's...I couldn’t possibly... No! Get out of here! Leave me alone!

'''Flotsam''': Suit yourself.

'''Jetsam''': That was only a suggestion. (flicks the piece of the statue to Ariel)

(Ariel looks down at the piece and sees Eric's face on it. She picks it up and looks at it. It reminded her of how the statue and the rest of her treasures were destroyed by her father's rage. Seeing that there was now no way of being with Eric now that her father learned about him and seeing what he did to her collection in the grotto, and remembering the shocking truth about Ash and friends, Ariel makes her decision.)

'''Ariel''': Wait!

'''Flotsam & Jetsam''': Yes?

(Meanwhile, outside the grotto, Ash, Flounder, Sebastian, and the rest of the group are trying to recover from Triton's violent outburst. Korra is tending Ash's wound with her water-bending powers.)

'''Korra''': There. That should do it.

'''Ash Ketchum''': Thanks, Korra.

'''Flounder''': (sniffs) Poor Ariel.

'''Jack Skellington''': Sebastian, how could you let this happen? You've promised Ariel that you wouldn't tell her father.

'''Sebastian''': I didn't mean to tell. It was an accident.

'''Misty''': Well, from the looks of what happened back there, you've certainly made things worse for Ariel and the rest of us.

'''Ash Ketchum''': (somberly) Guys, don't be mad at Sebastian. He honestly didn't want the king to know anything about this. You should've seen how scared and nervous he was. It was too much for him to bear. In fact, I'm the one who's to be blamed for this. I should never have pushed you into hiding our appearances from Ariel and her family.

'''Tommy Oliver''': Ash, don't be so hard on yourself.

'''Trini Kwan''': Yeah, it wasn't your fault. It's that barbarian of a sea king who's to blame. I mean what kind of parent would go violent and destroy harmless things that are from the human world, especially if they belonged to Ariel?

'''Asami Sato''': Just look at what he did to my hair!

'''Misty''': And look at what he did to my pocketbook and what he almost did to my Azurill! He almost got it killed! And now the poor, little thing's scared to death because of his violent temper!

'''Korra''': But he hates humans, remember?

'''Trini Kwan''': I know, but still, he needs to be taught a lesson in manners.

'''Mako''': Exactly! I mean what was so bad about Ariel falling in love with Prince Eric, anyway? He's a really nice guy. He saved his own dog from the burning ship during the storm for Pete's sakes! He doesn't understand that this was Ariel's choice.

'''Tommy Oliver''': Yeah! And if Ariel found someone, she's in love with and spend the rest of her life with, then she deserves to be happy. But not this cruel treatment. She deserves better.

'''Sebastian''': Ash, I'm terribly sorry for the way the king treated you and your friends. And I'm really sorry that I blew your cover.

'''Ash Ketchum''': That's okay, Sebastian. It was too good to last anyway. (sighs) Did you guys see the way Ariel looked at me when I took off my mermaid outfit? I think she hates me now that the truth is out. (sighs and clenches his fists in frustration) And if only her father hadn't been so temperamental. That way, things would be different.

'''Kronk''': Don't worry, Ash. I'm sure Ariel will be back on her fins sooner or...

(Then suddenly they saw Ariel with Flotsam and Jetsam)

'''Kronk''': Oh, would you look at that. She's feeling better already. See? Told you things would come together.

'''Ash Ketchum''': (becomes very suspicious) Hmmm.... I don't know about that, Kronk. (goes up to Ariel with Sebastian) Hey, Ariel, where are you going?

'''Sebastian''': Ariel, what are you doing here with this riffraff?

'''Ariel''': I'm going to see Ursula.

'''Sebastian''': (gasps)

'''Ash Ketchum''': Going to see Ursula, you say? Oh, okay, that's fi-What?! URSULA?!?!

'''Sebastian''': (grabs Ariel's fin) Ariel, no! No, she's a demon! She's a monster!

'''Ariel''': (sarcastically) Why don't you go tell my father? You're good at that. (flicks Sebastian away)

'''Ash Ketchum''': But Ariel, that was an accident for what Sebastian did! You don't have to go see Ursula! You know how dangerous she is!

'''Ariel''': Ash, do me a favor and stay out of my way. Maybe I was wrong about her...like how I was wrong about you. (leaves before slapping Ash in the face with her fin)

'''Ash Ketchum''': (quietly) Ariel!

'''Korra''': Well, that was rude.

'''Mako''': I wonder what that was all about.

'''Bolin''': And who is this Ursula person?

'''Ash Ketchum''': I'll explain it to you all later. But in the meantime, we have to follow Ariel and those strange eels who are with her. Now, come on, you guys! Let's go see what they're up to!

'''Sebastian''': Hmph! (to Flounder) Come on!

(As they follow Ariel

(Upon arriving Ursula's lair)

'''Misty''': Looks like it's always dark around this place.

'''Brock''': This must be the lair where Ursula hangs out.

'''Ash Ketchum''': I like what she does with the place. Guess she's been redecorating a lot with it.

'''Misty''': Okay, Ash. You'd better go in and see what Ursula is up to with Ariel.

'''Ash Ketchum''': Huh?

'''Brock''': We'll let you handle this alone.

'''Ash Ketchum''': Wait, you're letting me go in there by myself? But you promised you'd protect me.

'''Misty''': I don't remember promising that. (she and Brock are a couple of blocks away)

'''Brock''': You know how to deal with fear, Ash!

'''Ash Ketchum''': Ha! Run away if you want to. I'm not scared. I'm not gonna let that ugly sea witch hurt our best friend and the sea. Right, Pikachu? (Pikachu cowardly hides in his sleeping bag) Pikachu.... All right. We'll do this in the morning. Hey! (hides in his own sleeping bag) Make sure you don't wake me up too early, okay? 'Night, guys.

'''Jack Skellington''': And what about the king? Do you want to make things right with him too? Even after he angrily destroyed Ariel's collection in a barbaric rage back at the grotto?

'''Ash Ketchum''': (gasps in horror after remembering the sea king's barbaric outburst in the grotto; gulps nervously) Y-Y-Yeah.

'''Jack Skellington''': Then let's not waste any time here, guys! Your cowardice over Ursula's lair is getting us nowhere! So, how's about we do this. We'll all go in there while holding hands. Okay?

'''Brock''': Good idea, Jack.

'''Jack Skellington''': But in the meantime, shhh! (points to Ariel and the eels swimming up to the entrance of the lair) We gotta keep our voices down or they'll hear us.

'''Ash Ketchum''': (quietly) Oh, yeah! You heard Jack, everybody. Keep it down.
