{The Circle of Life ground forms in the BS's and holds its pattern for eight bars. It is a non-chordal BS part. The progressions are in the medium ranges of the strings. Various pans and camera views of African animals, all moving. Coinciding with Carmen Twillie’s pickup in the eighth bar, we first view the giraffes, panning to a long shot of all the animals in their procession, Ash, Pikachu, Misty, Brock and Togepi were walking with the animals.}

* '''Brock:''' You see Zordon send us to visit an old friend of his Rafiki so he can show us the Pride Lands and understand the Circle of Life and learned about it from King Mufasa.
* '''Mufasa:''' And since these humans are new to the Pride Lands we must teach them what they need to know how we run this kingdom.

{He turns and start scraping his claws on the rock wall. Zazu, Ash, Misty and Brock, cringes at the sound.}

{Rise in music-- "This Land" track-- with theme stated in African flute, it broadens eventually with chorus and full orchestra. We see a rainstorm gently crossing the savannah. Multiplane as the thunder rumbes. Camera approaches to Rafiki's baobab tree. Camera switch to inside the tree. Rafiki is doing hand paintings on the wall. We see he is completing a lion cub.}

* '''Rafiki''': {Mutters to himself, in which the word "Simba" can be heard} Hmm... Ah heh-heh-heh-heh-heh... {completing the ceremonial crown in the painting} Simba.

{Simba is seen coming out on the rock. He runs back into the cave and leaps over several of the lionesses, accidentally jumping on a few.}

(Simba comes running back on screen and butts Mufasa. Mufasa sleepily eyes his son.}

{Mufasa yawns a well-recorded lion yawn. Mufasa and Sarabi follow Simba up to the top of Pride Rock. Simba rubs up against Sarabi; she nudges him ahead and stays behind. Departing shot of her, with a loving expression. The sunrise illuminates the top of Pride Rock impressively. Both Simba and Mufasa are on the point. Cue music.}

* '''Mufasa''': Look children. Everything the light touches is our kingdom.

{The camera revolves around them, during Mufasa's speech, from a reverse view to a frontal shot.}

{Ash, Pikachu, Misty, Brock and Simba they running down the slope of the bottom part of Pride Rock. they run down towards two lionesses (Sarabi and Sarafina). Sarafina is giving Nala a bath. Music is light, almost jazzy. Pan flute lead.}

{Simba tries (too late) to escape; Sarabi bends down and grabs him. She proceeds to give the struggling cub a bath.}

(They hyenas attack as one hyena tries to bite Ash's Cyndaquill but dodges it.)

(Cyndaquill keeps avoding the bites.)

* Misty: (groans and palms her face.) Now, you're giving me a headache.
(The hyena leaps in to attack Psyduck)

* Ash Ketchum: Razor Leaf, and hurry!
(The attack launches, and the hyena changes its course)
* Ash Ketchum: That sure was a close call.
(Another hyena pounces towards Ash, but Ash quickly ducks while a cetain paw of Mufasa appears on the cliff and watches on)

* Ash Ketchum: Chikorita, Vine Whip attack!
* Brock: Onix, Tackle attack!

(Onix charges in, but hyenas dodges in time as Onix crashes to the ground. While it's on the ground, two of the hyenas pounce on Onix)

* Ash Ketchum: Pikachu, use your Thunder Shock, now!

(Pikachu does so, causing the Houndour to get off of Onix while Cyndaquil gets hit hard by one of the hyenas, causing it to light up its back flame)

* Ash Ketchum: Cyndaquil's just getting warmed up. Go get'em with your Flamethrower attack!

(The attack launches, but the hyenas evade and ran away while Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed stood their ground.)

(Simba jumps up on Scar's mane.)

(Scar turns to leave. Simba bounds after Scar.)

(Scar juts his head at Simba, halting him in his tracks.)

* Scar: No! [Scar composes himself.] *chuckles* No. [Scar guides Simba back onto the rock.] Just stay on this rock. [Simba sits with a mutinous expression on his face.] You wouldn't want to end up in another mess like you did with the hyenas.

* Scar: [with lips pursed] Simba, everybody knows about that.

(Simba ducks his head in embarrassment.)

* Scar: Oh, yes. Lucky Daddy and those human Pokémon trainer friends of yours were there to save you, eh? Ooh, [Scar wraps a paw around Simba's shoulders and draws him close.] and just between us, you might want to work on that little roar of yours. Hmm?

(Scar grins slyly. Simba sits back down on the rock. Meanwhile, Scar walks off. At the top of the gorge, a herd of wildebeests grazes on grass, while Jessie, James, Meowth, Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed watch from beneath a rocky outcropping.)

* Banzai: (stomach growls)
* Jessie: Quiet.
* Banzai: I can't help it. I'm so hungry. [Banzai stands up and stares longingly at the wildebeest herd.] I gotta have a wildebeest.

(Banzai sits and holds up a paw in appeal.)

* Banzai: Well, can't I just pick off one of the little sick ones?

{The lizard has no reaction to this first attempt. Simba then jumps down and tries again.}

{The lizard skitters off screen. Simba's roar echoes around the canyon. Shot of Simba lifting his ears to relish the echo. The echo is soon eclipsed, however, by a low rumble. Simba looks down and sees pebbles jumping. Cue the very sinister "To Die For" music. We see the herd coming over the lip of the canyon. Dramatic multi-layer camera pull up to Simba's terrified face. Simba takes off in front of the herd. Cut to the rim of the gorge, where Team Rocket and the Hyenas are seen chasing the wildebeest herd, nipping at their heels to drive them over the edge. Camera switch to Ash, Misty, Brock, Pikachu, Mufasa and Zazu a short distance from the canyon.}

* Zazu: Oh, look sire.
* Ash: It’s a herd of wildebeests.
* Brock: They must be on the move.
* Misty: And they’re acting.…
* Mufasa: Odd?
* Scar: Mufasa, quick! Stampede in the gorge! Simba’s down there!
* Mufasa: Simba?
* Ash: Waah! C’mon, maybe we can save him!

(everyone heads down, meanwhile the Simba is still trapped until he leaps on a tree, Mufasa, Scar, Ash and his friends continue toward the gorge as Zazu flies ahead he sees Simba)

* Simba: Zazu, help me!
* Zazu: Your father’s on the way! So are Ash and his friends! Hold on!
* Simba: Hurry!

(Mufasa, Scar, Ash and his friends made it down)

* Brock: Where’s Simba?
* Zazu: There! There! On that tree!
* Mufasa: Hold on, Simba!

(a wildebeest hits the tree as Simba holds on)

* Mufasa: Ash, stay with Zazu and Scar. (Leaps down)

{Mufasa runs out into the herd, joining the stampede.}

* '''Zazu''': Oh Scar, this is awful. What will we do? What will we do? Hah... I'll go back for help, that's what I'll do, I'll go back for he--oomph!

(Scar backhands Zazu into a rock wall, knocking him unconscious.)

* Ash Ketchum: I gotta help them. (tries to follow but is stopped by Brock and Misty)
* Misty: Think about this first, Ash!
* Brock: I don't think getting in the stampede is such a good idea, Ash!
* Ash Ketchum: I'm not scared of the stampede! We gotta help!
* Brock: No way, Ash! When a stampede gets bad, it's best to stay here and let them run over! And besides, there's too many of them. Not even the bravest Pokémon master would wander around in a stampede like this.
* Ash Ketchum: I guess you're right.
* Brock: Good, then we'll meet up with Mufasa when he gets Simba out of there.
* Scar: I'll see what I can do. You all look for them. Go!
* Ash and Brock: Right!

(Scar then follows Mufasa's progress from the lip of the gorge, his shadow cast mysteriously from the bottom of the gully. Mufasa runs with the herd till slightly past the tree. He whips around the front of some wildebeest and runs into the herd towards Simba's tree. He gets rammed head-first once, throwing him to the ground. A wildebeest hits Simba's tree, throwing Simba into the air. Mufasa gets up in time to catch Simba in the air with his mouth. He gets hit again and accidentally throws Simba. Simba dodges a few oncoming wildebeest. Mufasa runs by with the herd and grabs Simba. He jumps up to a near rock ledge and sets Simba down, but is immediately struck by a wildebeest and carried off into the stampede.}

* '''Simba''': DAD!
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' Mufasa! No!

(Simba watches in horror as he cannot find his father in the swirling mass of wildebeest below him. While Ash and his friends watch from the other side. At the last second, Mufasa leaps out of the herd and starts to climb with great difficulty up the sheer rock slope. Simba turns and starts to climb up to the top of the gorge.)

* '''Misty:''' You can make it Mufasa!
* '''Brock:''' The slope is too steep!
* '''Pikachu:''' Pika.

(Out of Ash, Misty, Brock and Simba's sight, Mufasa reaches a point right below a ledge where he can't climb due to the steepness. His claws are scraping and his back paws have no traction. Above him on the ledge is Scar.)

* '''Mufasa''': Scar! Broth-- {slips, barely hangs on} Brother! Help me!

{Scar looks disdainfully down, and then suddenly latches onto Mufasa's forepaws with claws extended. Mufasa roars, primarily from the sudden pain of Scar's claws, but no doubt also due to the sudden flash of realization. His expression slowly changes to one of horror as he recognizes Scar's intent.}

* '''Scar''': (Slowly and evilly) Long live the king. (Scar throws his brother backwards. Mufasa free-falls, back first. The camera follows Mufasa down from under him, then from above him, showing the stampede raging below. Ash, Misty and Brock watched in horror of Mufasa's falling.)
* Ash Ketchum and Brock: Ah!
* Misty: Oh no!
* '''Mufasa''': {Screaming}

{Camera suddenly focuses in on Simba, who is watching his father hit the ground. No sound effects of the hit. No view of it either. Mufasa and Simba's screams mingle.}

* '''Simba:''' No!

(Simba swiftly rushes back down into the gorge, just as the last few wildebeest ran by, finally ending the stampede. The chaos finally over, the little cub climbed back to ground level and saw a huge amount of dust covering the area; all gathered up by the stampede and leaving the premises covered in dust, almost like the aftermath of a wildfire. He looked around the canyon but couldn’t get a good view.)

* Simba: (coughs) Dad!!!! (his voice echoes)

(Shaken by their traumatic experience, but determined to find Mufasa, the cub kept walking through the area, horrified by the carnage. The dust started to slowly dissipate, allowing Simba to get a better look around, but they couldn’t find Mufasa anywhere. It was also deathly silent so they couldn’t hear anything, not even something as quiet as a mouse. Walking even deeper into the gorge, he kept looking.)

* Simba: (hears a rustling noise) Dad?

(But all that appeared was a stray wildebeest, having been separated from the herd and running down the canyon. Simba watched as the wildebeest ran off deeper into the gorge, before spotting the now broken tree that he used to escape the chaos. Beneath the tree, though, was a familiar looking silhouette, lying on the ground. It looked like a large lion, and upon seeing that this could be his father, Simba rushed to the body with worry. Simba approaches the body and saw that it was indeed Mufasa, but he wasn’t moving. Approaching the head, he could see Mufasa’s eyes and mouth closed, and he wasn’t breathing.)

* Simba: (goes up to his motionless father) Dad? (silence) Dad, come on. (nudges his father's head) You gotta get up. (still no response; on the verge of crying)

(At that moment, Ash and his friends arrive and, just like Simba, are stunned to find Mufasa's corpse as well.)

* Misty: (gasps) No... (on the verge of crying)
* Simba: Dad... (tries to wake him up by pushes gently against his mane) We gotta come home.

(But Mufasa didn’t budge. Now desperate, Simba rushed to Mufasa’s ear and pulled onto it, but there was still no response. Nothing he was doing was making Mufasa respond, and with that, it became clear that Mufasa, the wise ruler of the Pride Lands…was gone.)

* Ash Ketchum: (lifts Mufasa's dead head and gently caresses it) King Mufasa... (cries)
* Brock: (clinches his fist and grunts in frustration while shedding tears)

(Refusing to believe the inevitable, Simba ran a few feet away from the corpse.

* Simba: HELP! (his voice echoes) SOMEBODY! (his voice echoes) Anybody! (his voice echoes; unable to take it anymore he breaks down crying) Help...
* Ash Ketchum: (while crying) Simba, I... I-I'm sorry. There's nothing any of us can do to help your father now. He's gone...

(The horrific tragedy was too much for poor Simba to take in. His father who had rescued him from the stampede was now dead. The devastated cub slowly approached the body, feeling helpless without his father. Putting himself under one of his dead father’s paws, Simba curled up against the body, desperate for any kind of comfort. He stayed by the corpse, only able to grieve the loss of such a beloved authority. As Simba grieves, Ash could only caress in comfort over the devastated lion cub.)

* Pikachu: (walks up to Simba and lays next to him; sadly) Pikachu...

(But then, Scar approaches the group.)

* '''Scar''': Simba....
* Ash, Misty, and Brock: Hmm?!
* Pikachu: Pi?
* Scar: What have you done?
* Ash, Misty, and Brock: (softly) What?!
* Pikachu: Pika?!
* '''Simba''': {Jumps back, crying} There were wildebeests, and he tried to save me... it was an accident, I... I didn't mean for it to happen.
* '''Scar''': {Embracing Simba, yet still distant} Of course, of course you didn't. No one... ever means {pulls Simba closer; Simba hides his face on Scar's foreleg} for these things to happen. ...But the king IS dead. {looking with mock regret at Simba) And if it weren't for you, he'd still be alive. {Simba is crushed, believing his guilt. Another thought "occurs" to Scar.} Oh! What will your mother think?
* '''Simba''': {Sniffing} What am I gonna do?

* '''Scar''': Run away, Simba. Run... Run away and never return.

{Simba runs off blindly, obviously broken. Ash and his friends are completely distraught at this.)

* Misty: Why did you do that you, Scar?!
* Scar: I beg your pardon?
* Ash Ketchum: How can you say that Simba had anything to do with his father's death?! Do you have any idea how emotionally upset his mother will be?!
* Misty: Do you even care that his father died?! He's a cub!
* Brock: Simba cannot fend for himself out in the desert! He needs his mother in order to survive!
* Scar: But why would Sarabi want to raise a young cub that purposely killed his own father? I did this for his own good. For if the pride found out about Mufasa's death, who knows what they would've done to him?
* Brock: Scar, he may have believed to have been responsible for this tragic accident, but the three of us do not! We know that Simba doesn't have any of that kind of ability to kill another lion. No matter how good or bad they are. And we know fully well that he would never do anything to hurt his own father. Especially after bonding with him so much during his reign as king!
* Scar: What's that supposed to mean?!
* Ash Ketchum: What we mean is don't believe in any of your assumptions about Simba's involvement with his father's death at all! So, whatever happened to Mufasa, we think it might have something to do with you!
* Scar: Ha! You fools can talk about me all you want, but none of that is going to change a thing. The Pride Lands is no longer his home now that he is running away in exile.
* Misty: Well, if Simba's not welcomed here in Pride Rock because of this unfortunate tragedy, then we're not staying either!

* Scar: (growls) Hmph...! Very well. Go ahead and live with him in exile if that's what you want. I never liked my brother's idea of having you around Pride Rock as "royal guests" anyway. Oh, and to be perfectly fair, you're worthless to me.
* Ash, Misty, and Brock: (growl angrily at the evil lion.)
* Pikachu: (angrily) Pika...!!!
* Ash Ketchum: Wait! Before we go, let me tell you one thing, Scar. You may not like us, but what you did with Simba proved that you don't deserve the right to be king of Pride Rock. You're a traitor and a coward.

(Our heroes, seeing that Scar is a treacherous lion while they're still on to him for the death of Mufasa, rush off to go catch up to Simba. But not before they go behind somewhere where they can discuss what they should do.)
* Misty: Do you think we should tell Simba what really happened? He does deserve to know the truth.
* Ash Ketchum: I think so.
* Brock: No. We cannot tell him about it yet.
* Ash and Misty: Huh?!
* Ash Ketchum: Why not, Brock?
* Misty: Didn't you see how sad he was?
* Brock: Yes, I did. But Simba has to figure out the truth for himself. Because if we tell him the truth about Scar murdering Mufasa now, it'll break his heart even further.
* Ash and Misty: (gasps in horror; they look at each other in worry before looking out at Simba while he continues running away from home)
* Pikachu: (sadly) Pika...
* Ash Ketchum: (sheds a couple of tears) Then,...what can we do?
* Misty: (sheds tears as well) Yeah, how are we going to help Simba now? Oh, I hate seeing him so upset now that his father is killed at the hands of his evil uncle.
* Brock: (sighs while holding back the tears) The only thing we can do. Be there for Simba when he is needed. So, as of today, we're his guardians now. (sniffs) Look, I know Mufasa's death was tragic for all of us. Even for Simba. But we must be brave for him. No matter what happens to any of us or to Simba, we must be strong and brave.
* Ash and Misty: (look at each other, think about how Simba reacted when he saw his father's dead body, and they both come to an agreement to pull themselves together and help Simba across the desert)
* Ash Ketchum: (sniffs as he wipes away his tears and pulls himself together) Come on, guys. Let's go catch up with Simba before we get left behind.

(Our heroes continue forward. Ash glances back at Scar with an angry glare, but the evil lion couldn't care less. Scar glances at them with a sinister look as the three hyenas appear behind him.)

* '''Scar''': (to the hyenas about Simba) Kill him.

(The hyenas take off after him. And Jessie, James and Meowth arrived.)

* Scar; (to Team Rocket about Ash and his friends.) Capture them.

(Team Rocket takes off after them Scar stands motionless. Simba is chased up the entire length of the gully. He reaches the lip only to see a sheer drop on the other side. Having no choice, he jumps and tumbles down into a patch of briars below. The hyenas pursue the entire way. Simba climbs through the briars and tries to find a way out. When suddenly....)

* Ash Ketchum: (clears an opening for the cub) Simba! (holds out his hand) Over here!
* Misty: This way!
* Brock: Come on!
* Pikachu: Pika, Pika!

(Simba runs towards them and makes it out. As they make a break for it. A smoke bomb hits them on the ground.)

* Jessie: Thought you'd gotten rid of us, didn't you, heroes?

(Everyone turns and sees Team Rocket standing behind them with nets in hand as Jessie talks)

* James: But Team Rocket doesn't give up so easily!
* Ash Ketchum: Not you again!
* Meowth: Alright, we ain't leaving without any of you!
* Misty: Not if we have anything to say about it. Staryu, use Water Gun!

(Staryu appears and use Water Gun on Team Rocket and fell into the briars.)

* Team Rocket: (jumping out) YEOW!!!!

* Ash Ketchum: Come on let's go!

(Ash, Misty, Brock, and Simba make a break for it. Back to the hyenas, they are running down towards the briars, Banzai sees them and recoils.)

* '''Banzai''': Whoa!!

{After skidding extensively, Banzai manages to stop just above the brambles. He heaves a sigh of relief. Then Shenzi and Ed run into him, propelling him into the bushes.}

* '''Banzai''': WHOA!!! (falls into the briars) Yeow! {Jumping back out of the bushes}

{Shenzi and Ed are laughing as Jessie, James, Meowth and climb back up of the edge all covered in thorns.}

* '''Shenzi''': {Seeing Simba emerge from the far side of the briars and running into the desert with our heroes} Hey-- There they go! There they go!

* Meowth: And the boss ain't gonna be happy about it since we messed up again.
* '''Shenzi''': Well, he's as good as dead out there anyway. And IF they come back, we'll kill 'im. (to Team Rocket) And you three can capture them and take them to your boss.

("Kill ya" echoes off as we see Simba still running into the desert with our heroes. The hyenas and Team Rocket all laugh it off before departing back to the Pride Lands.)

* Ash Ketchum: (looks back at Pride Rock in sadness; sighs sadly as he continues forward and begins talking in his mind) Mufasa, I hope you can forgive us for not saving you from your untimely demise. But I can promise you that Simba will grow as strong and powerful as you were. And maybe, when the time is right, he will know the truth of your death and will fulfill his destiny once he returns home.

{Ash continues forward with his friends and Simba as the camera changes to Scar addressing the lionesses by the moon on Pride Rock.}

Yet, out of the ashes of this tragedy, we shall rise to greet the dawning of a new era... {The hyenas start emerging, casting eerie green shadows and laughing hollowly} ...in which lion and hyena along with three members of Team Rocket come together, in a great and glorious future! {Scar ascends Pride Rock as the hyenas appear in full force.}

{The camera pans to Rafiki who is shaking his head in the distance. The scene changes with Rafiki in the same position. He is in his tree house. After wiping away a tear, he reaches up and rubs his hand across the cub painting, smearing it.)

(The vultures attacks Ash, but Brock forces it back.)

(Pikachu was about to use thunder bolt on the vultures but they suddenly stopped and they heard the sound and saw Timon riding Pumbaa appears and dives into the midst of the vultures. They slap and kick the vultures all away.}

{The scene switches to all eight crossing a log, walking and tossing their heads to the music. With a steady build in the music, a change occurs. We see the image of young Simba become an adolescent Simba, with a partial mane. And then again, Simba becomes a full grown adult. While the chanting of the title is happening, the camera is panning at the low level (6" off ground) where all the interaction between Pumbaa, Timon, and Simba as a cub had been occurring. First we see Timon, and then Pumbaa. The camera continues panning at a low angle to where the cub Simba would fit. Instead we see the adult Simba's paw come down. An immediate back up for a full view of a big Simba.}

{All six dive off of the log into a pond. First, Timon jumps in doing a cannonball, and makes a small splash. Then Pumbaa, Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu, doing a swan dive, makes a small splashes too. Finally Simba swings out on a vine (gripped in his teeth). Before he can dive, the vine breaks under his weight. The resulting splash is big enough to wash Pumbaa and Timon ashore.}

{Simba joins Ash, Misty, Brock, Pikachu, Timon, and Pumbaa on shore. The song breaks into gentle jazz voice improvisations on the words "Hakuna Matata." We see a rear view of Timon, Pumbaa, Simba, Ash and co. boogying off into the forest to the beat of "Hakuna Matata."}

{The camera switches to a far view of Pride Rock. Almost all of the coloring is in gray. Most of the plants and trees appear to be dead. {After Ash and Pikachu left. Simba collapses to lay on the edge of the ledge. Milkweed floss is stirred into the air by his flop. The camera follows its path. It crosses the desert. Next we see Rafiki's hand snatch some it out of the air. He sniffs it, grunts, and bounds down into his tree. He pours the milkweed into a turtle shell, sifts it around, and then eats from the same kind of fruit he anointed Simba and Ash with. Examining the milkweed floss again, realization dawns on his face.}

{Rafiki grabs his staff. Laughing in delight, he picks up some paint and puts a mane on the smeared lion image on the wall.}

* Ash Ketchum: I'm worried about the Pride Lands, I could imagine it got worst after we left.
* Misty: (realize) Oh yeah, I completely Forgot about the Pride Lands. The kingdom wouldn't be the same without Mufasa.
* Brock: Yeah, Sarabi will be broken heart about Mufasa die & Simba run away.
* Misty: So will Zazu, he won't serve Mufasa or Simba now.
* Ash Ketchum: And not just them Simba's best friend "Nala" will miss him, they have been best friend before the stampede happened. I just hope she's ok.

* Misty: Well even though we don't know what's happened to the Pride Lands now but I'm sure they'll be okay, I hope.

{Camera switch to Pumbaa following the bug. He is still humming the bass. He stalks the bug up to a log, theatrically hiding behind a tree. When he tries to jump over the log he gets stuck momentarily and looks back.}

{He jumps over the log. As he views the bug at close range, the camera (at his viewpoint) switches focus from it to a pair of green eyes out in the grass. The camera closes up on a lioness (a fully-grown Nala) getting ready to jump.}

{He runs, with Nala in hot pursuit. Nala, with teeth and claws bared, chases Pumbaa around at high speed. Camera switch to Timon.}

(Simba thrash Arbok with his paw nailing it down.)

* Meowth: He decided to play grown-up!
* Misty: That's because he is all grown up!

(The attack launches, but Simba evades)

* James: Weezing, Tackle attack!

(Simba effortlessly dodge the attack and hit both Arbok and Weezing back at Team Rocket.)

* Meowth: Uh, can't we talk about this?

(Simba roars furiously, forcing Team Rocket to retreat.)

* Ash Ketchum: That was awesome.
* Misty: It was way beyond awesome.
* Brock: Talk about strength.
* SImba: You guys okay?
* Ash Ketchum: Yeah, thanks to you Simba.
* Misty: But where's Scar?

(They spotted Scar slinking away. Scar pauses, looking back at Simba, Ash and his friends. There is a clap of thunder and a flash of lightning.)

(Simba, Ash and friends chase after Scar up to the high point of Pride Rock. Scar runs up to the edge and sees the sheer drop. Simba and Ash and friends leap up to confront him at the cliff-like edge. Scar is very apprehensive, seeing he is cornered and at Simba's mercy.}

* '''Simba''': {Quietly, severely} Murderer.
* Ash Ketchum: It's over Scar!
* Brock: You lost!
* '''Scar''': Simba, Simba. Please. Please have mercy. I beg you.
* '''Simba''': You don't deserve to live.
* Misty: Why don't you just give it up?!
* '''Scar''': But, Simba, I am... ah... {unsure of his tactic} family. It's the hyenas {regaining composure} who are the real enemy. It was their fault - it was their idea!

{Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed are in the background. They overhear and back away growling at Scar's betrayal.}

* Brock: But you helped them and Team Rocket to take over this kingdom! So you are the true enemy of the Pride Lands.
* Ash Ketchum: Yes, we wanted to tell Simba about it. But we let him found out for himself.

* Scar: (roars while fighting Simba)

{There is a fight in slow motion. Both Scar and Simba land heavy blows. Simba gets knocked on his back. Scar leaps through the flames at him. Simba gathers courage and uses Scar's momentum in a "throw" similar to Nala's fighting tactics to send him flying over the edge. Scar tumbles to the bottom. Simba, Ash and his friends looked over the edge.)

* Ash, Misty and Brock: Ah!

(Scar weakly gets up. He sees Banzai, Shenzi, and Ed approaching and smiles. Ed has a very angry look on his face.}

* '''Scar''': Ahh, my friends.
* '''Shenzi''': (laughs) Friends? I thought he said we were the enemy!
* '''Banzai''': Yeah, that's what I heard.
* '''Banzai and Shenzi''': Ed?
* '''Ed''': {Laughs evilly}

{The camera moves away and we can only see the shadows as the horde of hyenas closes on and devours Scar.)

Zazu stands on a nearby rock and, as Simba passes, bows. A lioness rubs against Simba. Simba exchanges nuzzles with Sarabi, then Nala. And Simba turned to Ash and his friends as they were began to bow to him. Simba draws Ash into a hug.)

* Simba: I couldn't have done it without you guys.
* Misty: You deserve to be king Simba.
* Brock: It is your thrown after all.
* Ash Ketchum: Yeah, and we're sorry we couldn't told about what Scar did before when you were a cub, we just...
* Simba: Don't apologies Ash. You did what you had to do. I just had to find out for myself. Thank you. And you and your friends are always welcome in the Pride Lands.

(There is a clatter of gourds, which makes Ash, Misty, Brock, Pikachu, Simba, Nala, and Sarabi look up. Rafiki stands near Pride Rock. He gestures to the promontory. Simba approaches Rafiki, who bows. Simba draws Rafiki into a hug, and, after a moment, Rafiki returns it. He then grips Simba by the shoulders.)

* Rafiki: It is time.

(Simba walks toward the promontory of Pride Rock. Sarabi and Nala watch from below. Simba begins to ascend the promontory. Zazu watches in awe. Ash, Misty, Brock, Pikachu, Togepi, Timon and Pumbaa do likewise. The rain washes away an animal skull. As Simba reaches the edge of the promontory, he stops and looks up at the stars. The clouds part.)

{Simba's expression gains confidence and strength. Time switch to the savannah in full bloom again. Cue "Busa" theme:}

(as the Quantrons, alongside Kamek, Bowser Jr. and Team Rocket put some of the Hyenas as well Shenzi, Banzai and Ed in Steel Cages to Transport to the Bandora Palace's Dungeons as Punishment, we see Bowser and Mistress Nine with Scar's Lifeless Body and Pure Heart Crystal)

* Bowser (to Scar): You got what you deserved Scar, you became Worthless, treacherous. weak...and pathetic. (Shatters the Pure Heart Crystal with his Bare Hands to the Hyenas' Horror) 
* Bowser: as long as I am alive, as future Grand Monarch of Evil. my plan to bring back my time of glory upon the Earth, the Multiverse and the Galaxy will go on as scheduled.
* Mistress Nine: Yes, but you didn't have to shatter the crystal my king. Scar may still prove useful to us, Despite his treacherous Nature.
* Bowser: I know but he can only cares about himself. But when the time comes I will bring him back so he can learn about loyalty and obedience with only one Purpose.
* Bowser: Chosen Ones or no Chosen Ones.
* Meowth: That's the boss for ya. A real genius.
(They got out of the Pridelands)

(Then Rafiki sees it All)

* Rafiki: So Zordon was telling the truth, Mufasa. Dark Specter has a Son. I’m very worried, Mufasa. Things are not going well. No.
{Wind blows, rattling Rafiki's gourds.}

* Rafiki: Hmm? You have a plan?

{One gourd falls, splitting in half. Rafiki holds up the two halves against the painting of a blue hedgehog and Pooh and Pals, and brings them together until they join.}

* Rafiki: Pooh and Pals? And a Blue hedgehog? Together? This is the plan? {yells} Are you crazy? This will never work! Oh, Mufasa, you been up there too long. Your head is in the clouds!

{Wind blows hard at Rafiki)

* Rafiki: Okay, okay, okay! Okay! All right-- okay! I don't think this is going to work... but I trust you. I just hope you know what you are doing!

(Camera trucks back, upwards, away from Rafiki.)
