== Elephant Graveyard - Hyena Scene ==
{Camera change to Noctowl searching the around the Pride Lands in the sky until it saw Simba and Nala making their way away from Zazu, Ash and his friends. They are laughing. And flies back to Ash and Misty.}

* '''Ash Ketchum:''' How'd it go Noctowl? Did you find anything?
(Noctowl points them into the direction to where Simba and Nala are heading to the northern borders.)
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' They must be heading north. Which means...
* '''Misty:''' They're heading straight to the Elephant Graveyard!
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' Come on we better hurry!
* '''Simba''': All right, it worked!
* '''Nala:''' We lost them.
* '''Simba''': {Arrogantly} I... am a genius.
* '''Nala''': Hey, Genius, it was my idea.
* '''Simba''': Yeah, but I pulled it off.
* '''Nala''': With me!
* '''Simba''': Oh yeah? ...Rrarr!

{Simba jumps at Nala; they tussle quickly. Nala ends on top and pins Simba with her forepaws, producing a resounding thump.}

* '''Nala''': Ha. Pinned ya.
* '''Simba''': {Annoyed} Hey, lemme up.

{Nala turns away smiling. Simba looks at her and jumps at her again. They tussle, rolling down a short hill. She pins him again in the same position with another thump.}

* '''Nala''': Pinned. Ya. Again.

{A geyser makes a loud noise nearby, ejecting steam. The camera pulls back to a view of the surroundings that the cubs have just noticed. Mostly in grays, we see a dark craggy vale filled with skeletons of elephants. Eerie music.}

* '''Simba''': This is it. We made it.

{They look over the edge of the ledge they are on. A large bull elephant skull is nearby. The camera follows to survey the entire bleak view.}

* '''Simba and Nala''': Whoa!
* '''Nala''': It's really creepy.
* '''Simba''': Yeah... Isn't it great?
* '''Nala''': {Relishing her naughtiness} We could get in big trouble.
* '''Simba''': {Enjoying it also} I know, huh.
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' Hold it!
* '''Simba:''' Ash? How did you...
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' I send Noctowl to find you two and tracked you both all the way out here!
* '''Misty:''' I knew something was going on, you wanted to come here instead of the watering hole. Why!
* '''Simba:''' I just wanted to check it out, so they won't treat me like a cub anymore.
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' Who told you that? Your dad said we're not suppose to come here!
* '''Simba''': My Dad gets to go on patrols so I just want to show him that I could be brave like him.
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' What?!
* '''Pikachu:''' Pika?!
* '''Nala''': {Looking at the skull} I wonder if its brains are still in there.
* '''Simba''': {Walking towards the skull} There's only one way to know. Come on. Let's go check it out.

{Simba walks towards the mouth of the skull. Zazu flaps suddenly up in front of them, emitting a sharp squawk of "Wrong!" and giving the audience a start.}

* '''Zazu''': The only checking out you will do will be to check out of here.
* '''Simba''': Aw, man.
* '''Brock:''' I'm surprised at you, Simba. I know you're growing up. But that doesn't mean you should disobey you're Dad.
* '''Misty:''' So, we should just leave right now.
* '''Zazu''': We're way beyond the boundary of the Pride Lands.
* '''Simba''': Huh. Look. Banana Beak is scared. Heh.
* '''Zazu''': {Poking Simba in the nose} That's Mr. Banana Beak to you, fuzzy. And right now, we are all in very real danger.

{Simba has moved nearer to the entrance of the skull}

* '''Simba''': Danger? Hah! I walk on the wild side. I laugh in the face of danger. Ha ha ha ha! (Following Simba's confident laughter we hear more laughing from inside the skull. Simba runs back and hides behind Ash and co, Nala and Zazu.) 
* '''Ash and his friends:''' (gasps)

(Three hyenas emerge from the skull's eyes and mouth.)

* '''Shenzi''': Well, well, well, Banzai. What have we got here?
* '''Banzai''': Hmm. I don't know, Shenzi. Uh... what do you think, Ed?
* '''Ed''': {Crazy laughter}

{They circle around the cubs, humans, Pikachu, and Zazu.}

* '''Banzai''': Yeah, just what I was thinking. A bunch of trespassers!
* '''Zazu''': And quite by accident, let me assure you. A simple navigational error. Eh heh heh...
* '''Shenzi''': Whoa, whoa, wait wait wait... I know you. {peering close into the camera} You're Mufasa's little stooge.
* '''Zazu''': I, madam, am the king's majordomo.
* '''Banzai''': {Looking at Simba} And that would make you...?
* '''Simba''': The future king.
* '''Shenzi:''' And what else are you three?
* '''Brock:''' Actually we're humans and Pokémon trainers.
* '''Misty:''' So, don't mind us. We made a mistake coming here.
* '''Shenzi:''' Humans? I heard of you. You're the three trainers from this other world.
* '''Banzai:''' (looks at Ash Ketchum) And that means you're the so called the world champion Ash Ketchum.
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' How do you know about me?
* '''Shenzi:''' Let's say some friends of ours have told us all about you.
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' Friends?
* '''Pikachu:''' Pika?
* '''Familiar female voice:''' (OS) That's right twerp.
(Ash turns and sees Team Rocket behind him.)

* '''Jessie:''' Prepare for trouble.
* '''James:''' Make it double.
* '''Jessie:''' To protect the world from devastation.
* '''James''': To unite all peoples within our nation.
* '''Jessie:''' To announce the evils of truth and love.
* '''James:''' To extend our reach from the stars above.
* '''Jessie:''' Jessie.
* '''James:''' James.
* '''Jessie:''' Team Rocket blast off from the speed of light.
* '''James:''' Surrender now or prepare to fight.
* '''Meowth:''' Meowth that's right!
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' What are you doing here?!
* '''Jessie:''' We thought the Elephant Graveyard could use a little excitment
* '''James:''' And what's more exciting than a circus?
* '''Simba:''' What's a circus? Do they have something to preform?
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' No, just three freaks.
* '''Mewoth:''' Now, we're taking something. We're gonna capture you twerps!
* '''Jessie:''' Why not make this easy than just surrender.
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' No way!
* '''Shenzi''': Do you know what we do to kings who step out of their kingdom?
* '''Simba''': Puh. You can't do anything me.
* '''Zazu''': Uhh... technically, they can. We are on their land.
* '''Simba''': But Zazu, you told me they're nothing but slobbering mangy stupid poachers.
* '''Zazu''': {Aside, surreptitiously, to Simba} Ix-nay on the oopid-stay...
* '''Banzai''': Who you callin' "oopid-stay?!?"
* '''Zazu''': {Harried} My, my, my. Look at the sun. {starts to try to hasten the cubs away} It's time to go!
* '''Shenzi''': What's the hurry? We'd looove you to stick around for dinner.
* '''Brock:''' We didn't bring anything to eat.
* '''Misty:''' It's gonna get dark soon we should be heading back to Pride Rock.
* '''James:''' That's not going to be a problem. And our hyena friends could use some company.
* '''Banzai''': Yeaaaah! We could have whatever's... "lion" around! {In the background} Get it? Lion around! {laughs}
* '''Shenzi''': Oh wait, wait, wait. I got one, I got one. Make mine a "cub" sandwich. Whatcha think?

{Peals of uncontrollable laughter. Ed jumps up and starts gesticulating and jabbering.}

* '''Shenzi''': What? Ed? What is it?
* '''Banzai''': (Looking where Ed is pointing) Hey, did we order this dinner to go?
* '''Shenzi''': No. Why?
* '''Banzai''': 'Cause there it goes! (Camera view to the cubs, Ash and co. running off; they stop after a bit. Quick camera jump showing Zazu being caught in mid-flight.)
* '''Nala''': Did we lose 'em?
* '''Simba''': I think so.
* '''Brock:''' Everybody here?
* '''Misty:''' I'm here!
* Ash Ketchum: Me too.
* Pikachu: Pikachu.
* Misty: Wait, where's Zazu?

(Camera switch. The hyenas have Zazu near a steam vent. Banzai is holding the bird.)

* '''Banzai''': The little majordomo bird hippity-hopped all the way to the birdie-boiler. {He walks Zazu to the vent and stuffs him into it, plugging it up.}
* '''Zazu''': Oh, no! Not the birdie-boiler! {It shoots him off in a puff of steam}

{The hyenas start laughing hysterically}

* '''Simba''': {Now near the hyenas} Hey! Why don't you pick on somebody your own size?
* '''Shenzi''': Like... you?
* '''Simba''': Oops.
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' Pikachu, thunderbolt'em!
* '''Pikachu:''' Pikachu! (shocks the hyenas)
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' Come on, let's go!

{The hyenas start chasing Ash, Misty, Brock, Pikachu, and the cubs. They dart around behind them and poke their heads through an active methane vent.}

* '''Shenzi, Banzai, Ed''': BOO! {laughter}
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' You're not eating those cubs! Go, Cyndaquil! (throws his Pokeball and summons Cynadquil.) Chikorita, you go too! (summons Chikorita but she nuzzles on Ash's cheek.) Cut it out we got a battle to win.
* '''Misty:''' Those hyenas, don't scare me, go Stary--uh! (Psyducks pops out of it's Pokeball instead.)
* '''Brock''': Onix! Go! (summons his Onix.)
* '''Shenzi, Banzai, Ed''': Huh?!
* Ash Ketchum: Well, at least the hyenas aren't gonna out number us anymore it's 5 on 3.
* Ed: (burst out of laugh and Banzai smacks him.)
* Banzai: They're talkin' about us!
* Shenzi: {menacing, advancing on them} For your last meal, you're gonna eat those words.
* Jessie: Not so, fast! Arbok! Attack
(Arbok appears)

* Brock: Onix, use Tackle attack!

(Onix uses Tackle attack on Arbok and knocks it to the ground.)

* James: I'll stop them! Victreebel! Go!

(Victreebel Appears, and then Victreebel Gobbles Jessie)

* Jessie: James, would you get this thing off of me?!
* Ash Ketchum: Now's our chance! Come on everybody! Hurry!

{The hyenas chase the cubs, Ash and co. up and over another skull, and the cubs slip away by sliding down the spine.) 

(They shoot off the end of the spine and land on a hillside of bones.}

* '''Nala''': Simba!

{Simba turns around and is horrified to see Nala slipping back down the pile.}

* '''Nala''': Aaaaiee!
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' Chikorita, use Razor Leaf!

{Chikorita uses Razor Leaf on Shenzi across the cheek, drawing blood and distracting her while Nala escapes. Shenzi becomes enraged; the Hyenas pursue the Pokémon trainers and cubs quickly and corner them in a cave.}

* '''Banzai''': {Entering the cave, taunting} Here, kitty, kitty, kitty.
* Misty: Oh no you won't!
* Brock: We won't let you!
* Ash Ketchum: If you want to eat those cubs! We might as well make it a battle!
* Shenzi: In case you forgot human there are more than just three of us.
* Banzai: Yeah, just look up there.
(Banzai points up to where legions of hyenas snarl down at Ash and his friends.)

* Banzai: I say there's more than just three of us.
* Ed: Slurps (laughing)
* Shenzi: Get'em boys!

(The hyenas jumped at Ash and his friends but dodging they're bites.)

* Ash Ketchum: Fine, we'll do this the hard way!
* Shenzi: Let's bounce on them boys!

(They hyenas attack as one hyena tries to bite Ash's Cyndaquill but dodges it.)

* Ash Ketchum: That's it. Save up your energy so you can attack when it's all tired out Cyndaquill.

(Cyndaquill keeps avoding the bites.)

* Misty: Psyduck, use your Water Gun attack!
* Psyduck: Psyduck?
* Misty: (groans and palms her face.) Now, you're giving me a headache.
(The hyena leaps in to attack Psyduck)
* Misty: Look out!
* Ash Ketchum: Razor Leaf, and hurry!
(The attack launches, and the hyena changes its course)
* Ash Ketchum: That sure was a close call.
(Another hyena pounces towards Ash, but Ash quickly ducks while a cetain paw of Mufasa appears on the cliff and watches on)

* Ash Ketchum: Chikorita, Vine Whip attack!
* Brock: Onix, Tackle attack!

(Onix charges in, but hyenas dodges in time as Onix crashes to the ground. While it's on the ground, two of the hyenas pounce on Onix)

* Ash Ketchum: Pikachu, use your Thunder Shock, now!

(Pikachu does so, causing the Houndour to get off of Onix while Cyndaquil gets hit hard by one of the hyenas, causing it to light up its back flame)

* Ash Ketchum: Cyndaquil's just getting warmed up. Go get'em with your Flamethrower attack!

(The attack launches, but the hyenas evade and ran away while Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed stood their ground.)

* Banzai: Man, you kids really have tough Pokémon.
* Ash Ketchum: You bet we do!
* Pikachu: Pika!
* Jessie: Hey, don't forget about us!
* James: Well, you hyenas did your best.
* Meowth: But now it's time to deal with you twerps.
* Banzai: Yeah, no Pokémon is gonna make chump out of us.
* Ash Ketchum: Fine, we can do this all night!
* Simba: Wait, Ash, Let me challenge them for once.
* Ash Ketchum: Simba, no! It's too dangerous.
* Simba: I can try to be brave. Just trust me.
* Misty: Simba!
* Jessie: Well this should be interesting.
* James: Go ahead and try you little cub.

{Simba tries to roar. He produces a nice medium yowl.}

* '''Simba''': MREOOOW!
* '''Shenzi''': Oo-hoo... that was it? Hah. Do it again... come on.

{Simba opens his mouth to roar again, but we hear a full- grown lion roar.}

* '''Mufasa''': (offscreen) Rooooar!
* '''Shenzi, Banzai, Ed''': Huh?!

{Mufasa charges the hyenas from camera left and knocks them about until Arbok is about use headbutt on Mufasa and but knocks it down.)

* James: Get in there, Victreebel!

(Victreebel charged but Mufasa also knocks it down as well.)

* James: He's nasty!

(Mufasa knocks Team Rocket to the ground while them and the three hyenas are cringing under him.}

* '''Shenzi''': Oh, please, please. Uncle. Uncle.
* '''Banzai''': Ow. Ow. Ow.
* '''Mufasa''': {Half roar} Silence!
* '''Banzai''': Oh, we're gonna shut up right now.
* '''Shenzi''': Calm down. We're really sorry.
* Jessie: It was an honset mistake.
* James: We promise we won't do it again.
* '''Mufasa''': If you ever come near my son again...
* '''Shenzi''': Oh this is... this is your son?!?
* '''Banzai''': Oh, your son?
* '''Shenzi''': Did you know that?
* '''Banzai''': No... me? I-I-I didn't know it. No. Did you?
* '''Shenzi''': No! Of course not.
* '''Banzai''': No.
* '''Shenzi and Banzai''': Ed?
* '''Ed''': {Stupidly nods yes}

{Mufasa roars}

* '''Banzai''': Toodles!

{With a gunshot sound they disappear.)

* Jessie, James and Mewoth: Looks like, Team Rocket's running off again!

(Zazu lights in front of Mufasa, giving him a "that'll show 'em" nod... but then withers under Mufasa's angry glare.}

* '''Simba''': {Approaching his father} Dad, I...
* '''Mufasa''': You deliberately disobeyed me.
* '''Simba''': Dad, I'm... I'm sorry.
* '''Mufasa''': {Stern} Let's go home.

{They all start walking out of the Burial Grounds, but Ash walks up to Mufasa and tries to talk to him}

* '''Ash Ketchum:''' Mufasa, we…
* '''Mufasa:''' [stay firmed at Ash] Not right now, we'll have to take this discussion right after I have a word of my son. Understood?
* '''Ash Ketchum:''' Understood sire. 
* '''Mufasa:''' Good. [walks away] 
* '''Misty:''' Something tells me he's not happy with us. 
* '''Brock:''' I agree. 

{Ash and his friends walks away in shame, as well the cubs bent down in shame as well}

* '''Nala''': {Whispering} I thought you were very brave.

{The camera steadily pans up one of the walls of the cave. It stops on a horrifying image of Scar, standing on a ledge where he had been watching the cubs' near-demise.}
