This is a transcript for Ash's Adventures of The Jungle Book.

Opening/Bagheera Discovers Mowgli

Bagheera: [narrating] Many strange legends are told of these jungles of India, but none so strange as the story of a small boy named Mowgli. It all began when the silence of the jungle was broken by an unfamiliar sound.

[Bagheera hears baby crying, stops and turns to look]

Bagheera: [narrating] It was a sound that had never been heard before in this part of the jungle.

[Bagheera looks into the basket with baby Mowgli]

Bagheera: [narrating] It was a man-cub! Had I known how deeply I was to be involved, I would have obeyed my first impulse and walked away.

[Bagheera turns back on the branch, but Baby Mowgli cries again, making him return. Baby Mowgli stops crying and starts giggling and cooing. Bagheera turns back lies down on the branch and looks at him playfully]

Bagheera: [narrating] This man-cub would have to have nourishment, and soon. It was many days travel to the nearest man-village and without a mother's care, he would soon perish. Then, it occurred to me.

[The scene dissolves to five wolf pups playing around and their mother Raksha. Bagheera is looking at them from the bushes]

Bagheera: [narrating] A family of wolves I knew had been blessed with a litter of cubs.

[Bagheera with the basket watches from the bushes as the family of wolves walk into their lair and puts the basket right before the entrance. He goes back into the bushes and waits. Mowgli lies silent so Bagheera carefully sneaks back over and pushes the basket with his paw. He rushes away and hides as the baby cries out in surprise. The wolves come out and look at baby Mowgli, and Raksha smiles down at him, who now giggles]

Bagheera: [narrating] Why, there'd be no problem with the mother, thanks to maternal instinct, but I wasn't so sure about Rama the father.

[Rama comes from the jungle, looks and sniffs suspiciously at the baby man-cub, sees the smiling face of Raksha, looks at cute baby Mowgli again and smiles too. The "My Own Home" theme starts in the background as the wolves carry the basket with baby Mowgli into the wolf lair]

Mowgli's Jungle Life/Meeting at Council Rock

[The scene dissolves to 10 years later where Bagheera is on a branch looking at Mowgli]

Bagheera: [narrating] 10 times the rains have come and gone, and I often stopped by to see how Mowgli the man-cub was getting along. He was a favorite with all young wolf cubs of the pack.
Mowgli: [makes wolf howl] Whoo-whoo-whooo!

[Raksha and the four young wolves came out of the cave; two of Mowgli's wolf brothers run to him and playfully tackles and lick Mowgli]

Bagheera: [narrating] No man-cub was ever happier. And yet.... I knew that someday, he would have to go back to his own kind.

[The scene dissolves to Council Rock on a misty, moonlit night, with howling]

Bagheera: [narrating] Then one night, the wolf pack elders met at Council Rock. Because Shere Khan the tiger had returned to their part of the jungle. This meeting had to change the man-cub's entire future.
Akela: Shere Khan will surely kill the boy, and all who try to protect him. Now, are we all in agreement as to what must be done?

[The wolves solemnly nod in response]

Akela: Now, it is my unpleasant duty to tell the boy's father. Rama! Come over here, please.
Rama: Yes, Akela?
Akela: The Council has reached its decision. The man-cub can no longer stay with the pack. He must leave at once.
Rama: [shocked] Leave?
Akela: I'm sorry, Rama. There is no other way.
Rama: But.. But the man-cub is.. Well, he's like my own son! Surely he's entitled to the protection of the pack?
Akela: But, Rama, even the strength of the pack is no match for the tiger.
Rama: But the boy cannot survive alone in the jungle.
Bagheera: Akela, perhaps I can be of help.
Akela: You, Bagheera? How?
Bagheera: I know of a man-village where he'll be safe. Mowgli and I have taken many walks into the jungle together. Why I'm sure he'll go with me.
Akela: So be it. Now, there's no time to lose. Good luck.

Ash and Friends Meet Mowgli and Bagheera/Ash, Mowgli, Bagheera, and Friends Encounter Kaa

[The scene dissolves to Ash and his friends lost in the middle of the jungle at night]

Narrator:

[As the narrator speaks, Ash spots a doe through his binoculars]

Ash Ketchum: There's nothing but deer around here.
Misty: Well, that's the least of our worries, isn't it?
Ash Ketchum: Just because we're a little lost doesn't mean I have to stop catching all the wild Pokemon I can, does it?
Pikachu: Chu.
Misty: Of course not. Enjoy yourself.
Narrator: Our friends have gotten off track, just a bit.
Misty: I just can't go one step further. We've been looking for Indore for ten whole days!
Brock: Uh, there's a bug right on your...

[Before Brock can finish his sentence, Misty screams in panic]

Misty: [screams] Get it away! [jumps onto Ash's back]
Brock: It was just a piece of grass.

[Brock laughs when Misty kicks him square in the face]

Misty: I'm going crazy! Where are we?!?
Ash Ketchum: According to this, we're right in the middle of nowhere. But it looks like Route 24 leads to Indore.
Misty: Does this trail take us to Route 24?
Ash Ketchum: According to my calculations, it does.
Misty: All right! Then let's get this show on the road!

[Misty soon spots Mowgli riding on Bagheera's back]

Misty: Huh? [quietly] Hey guys, look over there!

[Everyone looks to see Mowgli and Bagheera]

Brock: What's that boy doing riding on a panther like that.
Ash Ketchum: I don't know but let's go check it out.
Pikachu: Pika.
Misty: Right behind you, Ash.
Brock: Hey wait up.

[They set off after Mowgli and Bagheera as they walk on through the jungle]

Mowgli: Bagheera, I'm getting a little sleepy. Shouldn't we start back home?
Bagheera: Mowgli, this time, we're not going back. I'm taking you to a man-village.
Mowgli: But, why?
Bagheera: Because, Shere Khan has returned to this part of the jungle, and he has sworn to kill you.
Mowgli: Kill me? But why would he wanna do that?
Bagheera: He hates men. And Shere Khan is not going to allow you to grow up to become a man - just another hunter with a gun.
Mowgli: Uhh, we'll just explain him that I'd never do a thing like that.
Bagheera: Nonsense! No one explains anything to Shere Khan!
Mowgli: Well, maybe so. But I'm not afraid. And besides I...
Bagheera: Now, that's enough. We'll spend a night here. Things will look better in the morning. [notices he's not paying attention] Man-cub? Man-cub! Now come on, up this tree. It's safer up there.
Mowgli: Uh, I don't want to go back to the man-village.
Bagheera: Go on. Up you go.
Mowgli: That limb way up there?
Bagheera: That's right.

[Suddenly Pikachu jumps out of the bushes between Mowgli and Bagheera with his cheeks all powered up and glaring at the confused panther in a threatening stance as Ash, Misty, and Brock come running out of the bushes]

Ash Ketchum: [To Mowgli] Hey, you! What are you doing? Get out of there! Run away! That panther is dangerous!
Mowgli: What who are you g...

[Ash grabs Mowgli's arm and tries to get him to a safe distance away from Bagheera]

Misty: Make a run for it!
Mowgli: Hold on a minute! That panther is my friend!

[Ash, Misty and Brock stop in surprise]

Brock: Wait he is?
Bagheera: That's right. I'm not trying to hurt him. I've been watching over him for years.
Ash Ketchum: [feeling embarrassed] Oh boy I'm sorry we just thought that...

[Ash, Misty, and Brock just realized that the panther just talked]

Ash, Misty, and Brock: [shocked] DID THAT PANTHER JUST TALKED?
Mowgli: Well of course he can talk.
Pikachu: Pika?
Bagheera: And may you please call off this yellow electric mouse of yours?
Ash Ketchum: Say Pikachu it's all right you can let him go now.
Pikachu: Pika. [He runs to Ash]
Bagheera: Thank you for that.
Mowgli: Anyway who are you guys and what are those things [pointing to Pikachu and Togepi]
Brock: My name's Brock and I'm a Pokemon breeder.
Misty: And I'm Misty. My specialty is water Pokemon.
Ash Ketchum: My name's Ash Ketchum and I'm trying to become a Pokemon Master.
Pikachu: Pika.
Ash Ketchum: Oh, yeah and this is Pikachu.
Pikachu: Pika-Pikachu.
Misty: And this is Togepi.
Togepi: Togepi.
Mowgli: What's a Pokemon?
Brock: A Pokemon, which is short for Pocket Monsters are creatures with different powers and abilities. There are hundreds of different Pokemon that evolve and inhabit the world.
Mowgli: I see. Oh by the way I'm Mowgli and this here is my friend Bagheera.
Bagheera: Charmed, and what are you kids doing here in the jungle especially at this time of night?
Misty: Well we are on vacation and were on our way to Indore [glaring at Ash] but a certain someone thought we could get there quicker by going through the jungle and we've been lost for ten days.
Ash Ketchum: Hey, I was trying to help us get there by a shortcut, OK? Give me a break.
Brock: Alright alright calm down you guys. I'm sure
Ash Ketchum: Thank you Brock.
Bagheera: Well you won't be able to reach Indore tonight especially since dangerous animals come out hunting in the night so I suggest you kids should stick with me and Mowgli.
Ash Ketchum: No thanks we can handle ourselves.

[Suddenly a roar is heard in the distance which scares Ash and friends]

Ash Ketchum: Well then again dangerous animals do come hunting out in night.
Misty: Yeah maybe we should stick with Mowgli and Bagheera and wait until morning.
Brock: Good idea. [To Bagheera] Oh by the way what are you two doing at this time of night anyway?
Bagheera: Well, Brock, I'm taking Mowgli to a man-village so he'll be safe from a tiger.
Misty: What tiger?
Bagheera: Shere Khan that's who.
Everyone: SHERE KHAN?
Pikachu: Pika.
Togepi: Togei.
Bagheera: You know Shere Khan?
Brock: Afraid so, Bagheera. We've encountered him many times on our adventures with Pooh.
Bagheera: I see. He has returned to this part of the jungle and has sworn to kill Mowgli.
Ash Ketchum: Kill him? But why would he do that?
Pikachu: Pika?
Bagheera: He hates men. And Shere Khan is not going to allow any man-cub to grow up to become a man - just another hunter with a gun.
Misty: I see.
Bagheera: Yes, so I'm bringing Mowgli back to the Man Village for his own protection but for now, we're going to to spend the night up this tree for some sleep.
Brock: You mean on that limb up there?
Bagheera: That's right.
Ash Ketchum: Say, can we come along to help you bring Mowgli back to the man-village, Bagheera?
Bagheera: Very well then. Now Mowgli you go first.

[Mowgli tries to climb the tree but can't]

Misty: [laughing] Is that all the better you can climb?
Mowgli: It's too big around! And besides, I don't have any claws.

[Bagheera helps and pushes Mowgli up the trunk]

Mowgli: Aah! Whoa! [Mowgli slips and almost falls but he grabs onto Bagheera's back]
Bagheera: [Roaring in pain]

[Mowgli then climbs back up but he he steps on Bagheera's face as he climbs then Bagheera pushes Mowgli onto the limb then he leaps onto it as well]

Bagheera: Now, get some sleep. We've got a long journey ahead of us tomorrow.
Brock: Yeah. We need plenty of rest to travel to the man village.
Mowgli: [whining] Uh, I wanna stay in the jungle.
Bagheera: [chuckles] Huh? Heh, you wouldn't last one day. [he yawns and lies down to sleep]
Mowgli: I am not afraid. I can look after myself.

[Then all the sudden Kaa the python then appears from the leaves of the limbs above, he smacks his lips when noticing Mowgli, Ash, Pikachu, Misty, Togepi, and Brock, looks towards Bagheera to see him sleeping. He then approaches Mowgli]

Kaa: S-SS-Say, now! [Mowgli looks up unimpressed, scowls at Kaa, and then sticks his tongue out at him] What have we here? [chuckles] It's a Man-Cub, a deeliss-ss-see-aws-ss-s Man-Cub.
Mowgli: [angrily pushing Kaa away] Oh, go away and leave me alone.
Ash Ketchum: Say who are you talking too Mowgli?
Bagheera: [sleeping] Oh just ignore him Ash. Now, now, now, please go to sleep, Man-cub!

[Kaa nods his head in agreement and begins to hypnotize Mowgli]

Kaa: [imitating Bagheera's sentence] Yes-ss-s, Man-Cub. [singing] Please go to sleep. Please go to sleep. [sings this as tuned from "Rock-a-Bye Baby"] Sleep, little Man-Cub, res-ss-st in peas-ss-se.

[Kaa begins to wrap his coils around a hypnotized Mowgli]

Kaa: S-SS-Sleep. S-SS-Sleep.
Mowgli: [yawns] Ba-Ba-Ba-Bagheera?

[Kaa wraps his tail tightly around Mowgli's throat, choking Mowgli, himself. Bagheera is still unaware at what's happening]

Bagheera: Now there's no use arguing any more.
Ash Ketchum: Mowgli I know you want to stay in the jungle but can't we discuss about it in the morning?

[Kaa now completely has a fully hypnotized and smiling Mowgli wrapped around his coils]

Kaa: [chuckles] He won't be here in the morning.
Misty: [glances at Mowgli and Kaa] Huh? Oh, course, he will, He-HE! AAAAAH! A SNAKE! [jumps onto Ash's back]
Brock: What on Earth?
Ash Ketchum: Bagheera who's that snake?
Bagheera: Huh? Oh, that's just... [suddenly realizing what is happening and fully wakes up; alarmed] Kaa! HOLD IT, KAA!!!

[Just before Kaa is about to eat Mowgli, Bagheera angrily slaps Kaa's head onto another tree branch, and Kaa bangs his head on it. This makes Mowgli fully conscious and released from Kaa's coils]

Kaa: Ooooh, my s-ss-sinus-ss-s! [scowls at Bagheera and moves forward to him] You have just made a s-ss-serious-ss-s mis-ss-stake, my friend. A very, s-ss-stupid...
Bagheera: [nervously] Now, now, now, Kaa, I was..
Kaa: Mis-ss-stake!

[Mowgli comes up, climes out of Kaa's relaxed coils]

Ash Ketchum: Mowgli are you okay?
Mowgli: I think so.
Kaa: [begins to hypnotize Bagheera] Look me in the eye when I'm s-ss-speaking to you!
Bagheera: Please, Kaa.. [looks Kaa in his left eye]
Kaa: Both eyes, if you pleas-ss-se!

[Kaa hypnotizes the panther, and now Baggie is fully hypnotized and smiling]

Ash Ketchum: Quick Mowgli, Help me with this.
Mowgli: Okay, Ash.
Kaa: You have just ss-sealed your doom. [Ash and Mowgli pushes Kaa's coils off the branch with their feet, causing the snake to comically fall from the tree] Ooooh!
Ash Ketchum: Ha that will teach him a lesson don't you agree Misty?
Misty: [laughing) Yeah, stupid snake!
Brock: (calling down at Kaa) Serves you right, for trying to eat Mowgli!
Mowgli: Look, Bagheera! [points to Kaa] Heh-heh, look, Bagheera? Wake up, Bagheera.
Ash Ketchum: Come on Bagheera, Snap out of it.

[Ash smacks both of Bagheera's cheeks with his bare hands]

Bagheera: [wakes up] Uh, duh, wha..?
Kaa: [slithering away, angrily] Jus-ss-st you wait till I get you in my coils! [He suddenly stops because a knot in his tail gets stuck between a couple bamboo stems]
Misty: [laughing] Hey look guys he's got a knot in his tail.
Kaa: [mimics Misty, sarcastically] "Hee-hee-hee! He's got a knot in his tail." [frees his tail, but that causes his whole body to come together like an accordion, then Kaa crawls away now with his bent coils] Ooooh, this-ss-s is going to s-ss-slow down my s-ss-slithering.

[Mowgli, Ash, and his friends continue laughing but stops when they notice Bagheera sternly glaring at them]

Ash Ketchum: [nervously laughs] Uh... Sorry, Bagheera.
Bagheera: Quite. [turns his attention to Mowgli and smirks] So you can look out for yourself, can you? [then smiles] So, you want to stay in the jungle, do you?
Mowgli: Yes. [frowns] I wanna stay in the jungle!
Bagheera: [annoyed] D'oh! Now, for the last time.... [snaps and both half-smirks (on the right) and half-smiles (on the left)] ....go to SLEEP!!!!
Ash Ketchum: (quietly) Now, listen here, Mowgli, you may have lucked your way out of this one, but I'm sure there are a lot things out there that'll change your mind. I know the jungle means so much to you, but what Bagheera is doing is for your own good. But in the meantime, just some sleep please.
(Mowgli pouts as he tries to get some sleep. Bagheera grumbles to himself then he goes to sleep. They all finally went to sleep and settled down for the night).

Dawn Patrol/Colonel Hathi's March

[The scene fades to morning. Ash, Pikachu, Misty, Togepi, Brock, Mowgli, and Bagheera are still sleeping when the ground starts to shake rhythmically, as the song "Colonel Hathi's March" starts playing.]

Jungle Patrol: Hup, two, three, four

Keep it up, two, three, four

Hup, two, three, four

Keep it up, two, three, four

Hup, two, three, four

[Mowgli, Ash and his friends start waking up and notice the scene from below.
Ash Ketchum: Hey, what's that?
Mowgli: A parade!
Bagheera: [waking up] Oh, no. The Dawn Patrol again. [sighs]
[Mowgli, Ash and the gang climb down the tree.]
Colonel Hathi: Company, sound off!
Jungle Patrol: [singing] Oh, the aim of our patrol
Slob Elephant: [singing] Is a question rather droll
Jungle Patrol: [singing] For to march and drill over field and hill. [all trumpet]
Colonel Hathi: [singing] Is a military goal!
Jungle Patrol: [singing] Is a military goal!

Hup, two, three, four

Dress it up, two, three, four

By the ranks or single file

Over every jungle mile

Oh, we stamp and crush through the underbrush
Hathi Jr.: [trumpets] In the "miritaly" style!
Jungle Patrol: [singing] In the military style!

Colonel Hathi: Company...left face! (they turn left and face forward)
Winifred: (very tired) March, march, march. My feet are killing me.
Elephant #1:: (whispering) I'm puttin' in for a transfer to another herd.
Colonel Hathi: SILENCE IN THE RANKS!

(The elephants stood up and straight, still, and silent as commanded. Hathi marched around them to see if they're in proper position. But he noticed their rears are slouching down.)

Colonel Hathi: Dress up that line!

(The elephants raised their rears up as commanded. Though Hathi slapped Winifred's rear to make her to the same thing.)

Winifred: Oh!
Colonel Hathi: (clears throat) Pull it in, Winifred. (marches back to the front) Inspection...arms!

(The elephants raised their trunks up high. Mowgli, however, pointed himself downward.)

Hathi Jr.: (whispers) Stick your nose out.
Mowgli: (raises his head up and whispers) Like this?
Hathi Jr.: (whispers) That's right.
Colonel Hathi: (examines one elephant's trunk and looks carefully into its nostrils) Tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk. A dusty muzzle. Soldier, remember in battle that trunk can save your life. Take good care of it, my man.
Elephant #1: Yes, sir!
Colonel Hathi: Very good. Carry on. (examines the sloppy elephant as he is chewing on grass; clears throat) Let's have a little more spit and polish on those bayonets.
Sloppy elephant: Yes, sir.
Colonel Hathi: Esprit de corps!That's the way that I earned my commission in the Mahajarah's 5th Pachyderm Brigade. Back in '88, it was - Or was it?
Winifred: [whispering to the first elephant next to her] Here it comes. The "Victoria Cross" bit again.
Colonel Hathi: It was then I received the Victoria Cross, for bravery above and beyond the call of duty. [chuckles] Those were the days. Discipline! Discipline was the thing! [leans on his bamboo cane] It builds character and all that sort of thing, you know. [his cane snaps in half as he leans on it] And, uh... Oh. Uh, where was I? Oh, yes. Inspection. [clears throat and inspects the next recruit that is a rough-looking elephant with bent tusks and a black eye] Well, very good. [the next recruit is an elephant with a goofy-looking grin across his face] Wipe off that silly grin, soldier! This is the army. [the elephant's smile droops into a sad frown, making his tusks droop. The next recruit is focused on a fly buzzing around his face which lands on his trunk] Ahem. [swats the fly with his cane] Eyes front. [next, the lieutenant, with a mop of hair] Tsk, tsk, tsk. Lieutenant, that haircut is not regulation. [messes the hair up] Rather on the gaudy side, don't you think? [swipes his cane across, giving the lieutenant a military-style flat-topped haircut] There. That's better. [looks to the left] And as for you- [realizes that he's talking to his son Hathi, Jr. and looks down] Oh, there you are. [chuckles] Let's keep those heels together, shall we, son?
Hathi Jr.: Okay, Pop. [puts his feet together] Sir!
Colonel Hathi: Yes, that's better.

Mowgli: Hey, stop that!
Colonel Hathi: (gasps and sputters) A man-cub! Ohh, this is treason! Sabotage! I'll have no man-cub in my jungle!
Mowgli: It's not your jungle!
(Just then, Bagheera arrives.)
Bagheera: Hold it! Hold it! I can explain, Hathi!
Colonel Hathi: Colonel Hathi, if you please, sir.
Bagheera: Oh, yes, yes. (Clears throat) Colonel Hathi. The man-cub is with me. I'm taking him back to the man-village.
Colonel Hathi: To stay?
Bagheera: You have the word of Bagheera.
Colonel Hathi: Good. And remember, an elephant never forgets. [Mowgli angrily crosses his arms at him.] Heh. I don't know what the army's coming to these days. These young whippersnappers, who do they think they are? [He clears his throat to wake up Winifred and the other dozing elephants.] Let's get on with it! Right face! [They turn right, but bump into each other and get stuck.] Forward, march!
[They start marching forwards and get unstuck. Winifred then notices that something's missing.]
Winifred: Dear, haven't you forgotten something?
Colonel Hathi: Nonsense, Winifred, old girl. An elephant never forgets.
Winifred: Well, you just forgot our son. [raises an eyebrow at Hathi]

Mowgli and Bagheera's Argument

Mowgli: (laughs) And he said "An elephant never forgets.
(Mowgli laugh but he instantly stopped upon seeing Bagheera and Ash glare at him sternly.)
Ash Ketchum: (sternly) Mowgli!
Bagheera: It's not funny.
Ash Ketchum: Yeah, this is no laughing matter. At least show a little respect to poor, old Colonel Hathi.
Bagheera: Now, let's get out of here quick before anything else happens.
(Bagheera, Mowgli, Ash, Brock and Misty run through the jungle.)
Mowgli: Bagheera, where we going?
Bagheera:(sternly) You're going back to the man-village right now.
Mowgli: (upset) I'm not going!
Bagheera: Oh, yes you are.
Mowgli:(holds on the tree) I'm staying right here.
Bagheera:(angrily marching up to Mowgli) You're going if I have to drag you every step away. (then Bagheera grabs hold of Mowgli's loin cloth as Mowgli holds onto the tree) (muffled) Let go, you-
Mowgli: You, let go of me!
(Bagheera looses his grip falls backwards into the water while getting up he hits his head under a log.)
Bagheera: (furiously) Oh, that does it! I've had it, man-cub! From now on, you're on your own...alone!
Mowgli: Don't worry about me.
(Bagheera walks to the other direction as Ash, Brock and Misty go with Mowgli. As Mowgli continues to walk, Ash and the gang decide to quietly talk without him listening.)
Ash Ketchum: Stubborn, isn't he?
Misty: Yeah. Tarzan was more tolerable and very well-mannered. But him, he's too stubborn to listen to poor, old Bagheera.
Brock: And since he grew up in the jungle, it's become a part of him. Like it's his forever home.
Ash Ketchum: But as Bagheera said, guys. Mowgli doesn't know who he's up against. He doesn't know how dangerous Shere Khan is.
Bagheera: (sighs) Foolish man-cub.
(Mowgli stops to rest as Ash, Misty and Brock sit by him.)

Ash, Mowgli, and Friends Meet Baloo

(Mowgli, Ash, Brock, and Misty hear rustling and it turned out to be a bear named Baloo.)
Baloo: [singing] Doo-bee doo-bee doo-bee dee-doo Well, it's a doo-bah-dee-do Yes, it's a doo-bah-dee-do I mean a doo-be doo-bee doo-be Doo-be doo-bee doo And with.. [he notices Ash, Mowgli, and friends] Well now, ha-ha! What have we here?
(Baloo sniffs Mowgli, Brock, Ash and Misty.)

Baloo: Say, what are your names, kids?
Ash Ketchum: My name is Ash Ketchum
Misty: I'm Misty.
Brock: And I'm Brock.

The Bare Necessities

Baloo: Look, now it's like this, little britches. All you've got to do is... [singing] Look for the bare necessities The simple bare necessities, Forget about your worries and your strife, I mean the bare necessities, Are Mother Nature's recipes, That bring the bare necessities of life, Wherever I wander. Wherever I roam, I couldn't be fonder, Of my big home, The bees are buzzing in the tree, To make some honey just for me, When you look under the rocks and plants, And take a glance at the fancy ants, Then maybe try a few...

Misty: You eat ants?

Baloo: Ha-ha, you better believe it! And you're gonna love the way they tickle.

Bagheera: Mowgli, look out!
(The big rock falls and hits the ground luckily it didn't hit Mowgli.)

Ash, Mowgli, and Friends Kidnapped by the Monkeys

Baloo: (Laughs) Beautiful. That's real jungle harmony.

Ash Ketchum: This is much fun, Baloo.

Mowgli: I'll say and I like being a bear.

Baloo: That's my boy and you're gonna make one swell bear. Why, you even sing like one. (The monkeys see Mowgli, Ash, Brock and Misty) Yeah.

(Baloo yawns and stretches. Baloo falls asleep as he sings merrily. Just then the monkeys pick up Mowgli, Ash, Brock and Misty. One monkey landed on Baloo's belly. Baloo yawned as a fly landed on Baloo's nose.)

Baloo: Hey, kids, how about you flickn' that ol' mean fly off of your papa bear's nose? (The monkey whacks Baloo's nose with a stick) Ouch! (Chuckles) Boy, when you flick a fly, you really...(He opens his eyes then he becomes shocked upon seeing the monkey) (Furiously) Why, you flat-nosed, little-eyed, flaky creep!

(The Monkeys held Mowgli, Brock, Ash and Misty captive as they struggled to get away from them.)

Mowgli: [held in the branches above] Hey! Let go of me!

Ash Ketchum: Yeah! Unhand us!

Baloo: Take your flea-picking hands off my friends!

Monkey #1: Come on and get them, champ!

Monkey #2: He's no champ, he's a chump!

Mowgli: Baloo!

Monkey #3: Yeah! ha-ha! A big hothead!

Baloo: Okay you guys asked for it, I'll.. ooh! [he falls into water]
Monkey #4: That'll cool 'im off! (laughing)
Baloo: Gimme back my friends!
(The monkeys hold Mowgli, Brock, Ash and Misty down.)
Monkey #5: Here they are! Come and get them!
(Baloo attempts to get them back but the monkeys quickly pulled Mowgli, Ash, Brock and Misty up. Baloo hits his face on the tree then he lands on the ground.)
Monkey: That's how a bear can rest at ease!
Monkey #2: Here's some bare necessities!
(The monkeys throw fruit at Baloo.)
Baloo: (furiously) Now, just try that again, you... (a fruit hits Baloo in the face)
Monkey: What's that you hit him with, son?
Monkey #2: That was a bare necessity!
Baloo: You turn my friends loose, or I'll jerk a knot in your tail!
Monkey: We give up! Here they come!
(The monkeys throw Mowgli, Brock, Misty and Ash down which caused them to yell.)
Ash Ketchum: Baloo, catch us!
Mowgli, Brock and Misty: Baloo!
Monkey: Back up! Back up! Back up! Faster! Faster!
(Baloo backs up but the two monkeys help up vine tripping him down the cliff.)
Monkey #2: A rolling bear gathers no hair! (laughing)
(Baloo falls down the cliff and the monkeys throw down Pikach and Togepi which caused them to land on Baloo.)
Ash Ketchum: Baloo, help us!
Mowgli: Baloo! They're carrying us away!
(The monkeys carried Mowgli, Ash, Brock and Misty away.)
Togepi: Toge!
Pikachu: Pika!

Baloo: Bagheera!

[We cut to Bagheera]

Baloo: [off in the distance] BAGHEERA!!
Bagheera: [Turns around as he hears Baloo yelling his name a mile away] Well, it's happened. Took a little longer than I thought, but it's happened.

[Bagheera starts running back toward Baloo, who with Pikachu and Togepi are struggling to climb up the cliff. Bagheera reaches the cliff]

Baloo: [on the edge, screaming bloody murder] BAGHEE-EE-EE-EERA-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A!!!!!!!!

[Baloo has screamed "BAGHEERA!!" so loudly in Bagheera's face that the sound leaves him shaken. Baloo then realizes that Bagheera is in front of him]

Baloo: Oh, you heard me, huh?
Bagheera: Mowgli? Mowgli? Ash? Misty? Brock? All right, what happened? Where's Mowgli, Ash, Misty, and Brock?
Baloo: They ambushed us; thousands of 'em! I jabbed with my left, then I swung with the right, and then I let..!
Bagheera: Oh, for the last time, what happened to Mowgli, Ash, Misty, and Brock?
Baloo: Like I told ya; them mangy monkeys carried them off!
Bagheera: The Ancient Ruins? Oh, I hate to think what will happen when they meet that king of theirs.

Ash, Mowgli, and Friends Meets King Louie/I Wanna Be Like You

[Dissolve to the ancient ruins]

King Louie: [scat sings] Ding ding lo-la diddly-o zing boing. Sca-be-do, hoo-be-do, zee-bo do-zeb. Diddly-doo dee-hoy. I wanna be a man-man one or-rang-a-tang tang.
(Then he heard laughing and he look see his holding Mowgli, Ash, and his friends)
Monkey #1: Ha, ha, we got them, King Louie!
Monkey #2: There they are Man, we got them, we got them!
(The monkeys held Mowgli, Ash and his friends upside down.)
King Louie: Ha-ha! So, you're the Man-Cubs? [rolls his eyes] Crazy.
Ash Ketchum: We're not as crazy as you are.
Mowgli: Yeah, put us down!
(The monkeys dropped Mowgli, Ash and his friends to the ground)
Misty: (angrily) You cut that out!
(King Louie picks up Mowgli.)
King Louie: Cool it, guys unwind yourselves. (Scating) Now, come on let's shake, cousin. (Shakes Mowgli's hand)
Mowgli: What do ya want us for?!
King Louie: Word has grab my royal ear.

Monkey: It's Baloo the bear!
Monkey 2: Yeah, that's him! How'd that square get in there?
Mowgli: Baloo! It's you!
Ash Ketchum: Let's get out of here!
(Baloo picks up Mowgli, but the monkey grabs Mowgli. An annoyed Mowgli bonks the monkey's head with his fists as the monkey takes Mowgli to King Louie. Baloo quickly takes Mowgli and bonks King Louie in the head. Another monkey grabbed Mowgli then Bagheera and Misty block the monkey's patch.)
Misty: Oh no, you don't buddy! (Bagheera roars at the monkey)
(Baloo holds a club to stop the monkey but the monkey was to fast and Baloo accidentally hits Bagheera. The monkey takes to King Louie again. Baloo runs and grabbed Mowgli's arm. King Louie grabbed onto the boulder which cased the stones to fall off. King Louie's eyes widen with shock upon seeing the tower falling. King Louie throws Mowgli onto Baloo and then he goes to stop the tower from collapsing. Baloo and Ash smirk at each other. Ash gets an idea and whispered into Baloo's ear. Baloo nods his head in agreement. Ash and Baloo tickle King Louie which caused him to laugh. The monkeys carry a boulder and Ash quickly gets out of the way. Baloo gets hit, he smiled sheepishly and waved to King Louie and runs away as the building starts collapsing. A rock lands on Bagheera's tail which caused him to yowl in pain. Baloo, Bagheera, Mowgli, Ash, Brock, Misty run away from the collapsing kingdom. King Louie becomes stunned that his kingdom is destroyed.)
(Bagheera with Mowgli on his back, Baloo, Ash and friends got away from the Ruins collapse)
Ash Ketchum: Man, that was close.
Misty: I'll say.
Baloo: Whew. Ha ha ha. Man, that's what I call a swingin' party.
(The camera fades to black.)

Ash, Baloo, Bagheera, and Friends' Moonlight Talk

[The scene fades into the night where we see that Mowgli, Ash, and friends are asleep and Baloo and Bagheera are still awake talking]

Bagheera: [loudly] ...and furthermore, Baloo, Mowgli seems to have man's ability to get into trouble and your influence hasn't been exactly.....
Baloo: Shhh! Keep it down, you're gonna wake up lil' buddies. Well, they had a big day, it was a real sockaroo. You know, it ain't easy learnin' to be like me.
Bagheera: [scoffs] A disgraceful performance. Associating with those undesirable, scatterbrained apes. Huh. I hope Mowgli, Ash, Misty and Brock learned something from that experience.
Mowgli: [sighs, singing in his sleep] Scooby-dooby, dooby-doo..
Baloo: Ha, ha. That's my boy.
Bagheera: [walking to the river] Oh, nonsense.

[Baloo wrapped some leaves around Mowgli then puts some leaves under his head to make him comfortable]

Bagheera: Baloo, come over here. I'd like to have a word with you.
Baloo: [comes over] A word? You gonna talk some more?

[Ash and Pikachu wakes up, along with Misty, Togepi, and Brock]

Ash Ketchum: Guys, it's the middle of the night.
Pikachu: Pika
Misty: We're trying to sleep
Togepi: Togei
Brock: Yeah I was having a beautiful dream and, all of a sudden, it turned into a horrible nightmare.
Misty: [quietly] Quiet, or I'll turn your life into a nightmare!
Brock: Okay.
Bagheera: Sorry for waking you kids but since you're awake now I need a word with you three as well.
Baloo: You heard him. We need to hear what he said.

[Baloo yawns]

Baloo: All right, what's up, Bagheera?
Bagheera: Guys, the man-cub must go back to the man village.
Brock: Yeah, we know.
Bagheera: The jungle is not the place for him.

[Baloo eats some grapes from a tree]

Baloo: I grew up in the jungle. Take a look at me.
Misty: Oh yeah, just look at yourself. Look at that eye.

[Baloo looks himself in the river and sees that he has a black eye]

Baloo: Yeah. It's beautiful, ain't it?
Bagheera: Frankly, you're a disreputable sight.
Baloo: Well, you don't look exactly like a basket of fruit yourself.
Ash Ketchum: He does have a point, Bagheera. Look at your reflection in the water.

[Bagheera looks himself in the river and sees that he, too, has a black eye]

Bagheera: D'oh! [clears his throat] Baloo, you can't adopt Mowgli as your son.
Baloo: Why not?
Bagheera: Uh.... how can I put it? [Baloo eats a handful of grapes] Baloo, birds of a feather should flock together. [Baloo shrugs] You wouldn't marry a panther, would you?
Baloo: I don't know. [chuckling] Come to think of it, no panther ever asked me!
Ash Ketchum: Baloo, you need to be serious about what Bagheera's saying.
Baloo: [seriously] Oh, stop worryin', Ash. Stop worryin', I'll take care of him.
Misty: Yes, just like you did when the monkeys kidnapped us, huh?
Baloo: Can a guy make one mistake?
Bagheera: Not in the jungle. And another thing, sooner or later, Mowgli will meet Shere Khan.
Baloo: [suddenly very shocked] The tiger? What's he got against the kid?
Bagheera: He hates man with a vengeance, you know that! Because he fears Man's gun and Man's fire.
Baloo: But, little Mowgli doesn't have those things.
Bagheera: Shere Khan won't wait until he does. He'll get Mowgli while he's young and helpless. [raises a paw at Baloo] Just one swipe..!
Brock: Oh, my. That does sound serious.
Misty: I agree.
Baloo: Well, well, what are we going to do?
Bagheera: [seeing that Baloo is now just as worried about Mowgli as he is] We'll do what's best for the boy.
Baloo: You better believe it. You name it, and I'll do it.
Brock: Good Baloo. Then you must make Mowgli go to the Man Village.
Baloo: [furiously] Are you outta your mind? I promised him that he could stay here in the jungle with me!
Bagheera: Well, that's just the point! As long as he remains with you, he's in danger. So, it's up to you.
Baloo: Why me?
Bagheera: Be-Because he won't listen to us!
Baloo: [humbled] But I love that kid. [sniffles] I love him like he was my own cub.
Ash Ketchum: Then maybe you should think of what's best for Mowgli and not yourself.
Baloo: But.. Well, can't.. Well, can I wait until morning?
Misty: Well, about that, Baloo, it's morning now already.

[Baloo looks around to see that it's morning already]

Ash Ketchum: Well, what do you know? We've talked all through the night til the sun rises. Didn't see that coming.
Pikachu: Pika.
Brock: Yes, Ash, but now we must wake Mowgli up and help Baloo get him to the man village before Shere Khan find us.

Mowgli Runs Away

[An emotional Baloo sighs and walks towards Mowgli, along with Ash and friends, before looking back at Bagheera with a choked-up facial expression. Bagheera understands that it's really hard for him, but he urges him with a nod]

Misty: Are you awake, Mowgli
Mowgli: [wakes up with a yawn] Oh, hi, guys.
Baloo: Hi.
Ash Ketchum: Morning, Mowgli. Good sleep?
Mowgli: Yep.
-Baloo: Hey, rub that old sleep out of your eyes. You and me, we all got a long walk ahead of us.
-Mowgli: Swell, gee we'll have lots of fun together.
Baloo: [sadly] Sure, yeah. Yeah. All right, let's hit the trail, kids. See ya 'round, Bagheera.
-Ash Ketchum: Goodbye Bagheera and wish us luck.
-Mowgli: Well, goodbye me and Baloo we got things to do.
Bagheera: Goodbye, Man-Cub, goodbye kids. And good luck.
Mowgli: Come on, guys. All we got to do is. (began singing) Look for the bare necessities, some good old bare necessities. Forget about your worries and your strife. I mean the bare necessities, that's why a bear can rest at ease with the bare necessities of life. (takes the banana and tosses it to Baloo) Yeah! I'll live here in the jungle all my life! Yeah man! (song ends) I like being a bear. Where we going guys?
Baloo: Well, uh it's uh. (tosses the banana) Well, it's sort of new and--
Mowgli: Oh, I don't care as long as I'm with you.
Baloo: Mowgli, look buddy there's something I got to tell you.
Mowgli:(chasing the butterfly) Tell me what, Baloo?
Baloo:(to himself) Gee whiz. Now, how did old Baggy put it? (to Mowgli) Ah, Mowgli? Ha ,you wouldn't marry a panther would you?
Mowgli:(giggles) Gee, I don't even know what you're talking about. (Mowgli growls pouncing off the rock)
Baloo: Mowgli, don't you realize that you're a human?
Mowgli: I'm not anymore, Baloo. I'm a bear like you.
Baloo: Little buddy, look, listen to me.
Mowgli: (trying to get Baloo to play with him) Come on, come on Baloo.
Baloo: Now, Mowgli. stop it now, now hold still. I wanna tell you something, now listen to me.
Mowgli: What's the matter, old papa bear?
Baloo: Look, Mowgli I've been trying to tell you. I've been trying all morning to tell you. I've got to take you back to the man-village!
Mowgli: (shocked) The man-village!
Baloo: Now, look kid I can explain.
Mowgli:(upset) But-but you said we were partners.
Baloo: Now believe me, kid I...
Mowgli: You're just like...like old Bagheera!
Baloo:(furiously) Now, just a minute! That's going too far!
Ash Ketchum: (losing his temper) That does it, Mowgli! I've had enough of your bratty attitude!
-
(Mowgli runs into the jungle.)
Ash Ketchum: Mowgli, wait! I didn't mean that!
Baloo: Hey, Mowgli, where you going? Wait a minute, stop!
Misty: Mowgli, please wait!
Brock: Mowgli, come back!

(Mowgli runs further away from them. Ash regrets snapping at Mowgli as Brock and Misty comfort him.)

-Bagheera: Now what's happened?
-Baloo: (stuttering) Well, you're not gonna believe us, Bagheera, but look, now we used the same words you did, and he ran out on us!
-Ash Ketchum: This is all my fault, Bagheera. I should've lost my temper.
-Bagheera: Well, don't just stand there. And, please stop blaming yourself, Ash. Let's separate. We've got to find him!

(Bagheera runs in another direction.)

Baloo: Oh, if anything happens to that little guy, I'll never forgive myself. I gotta find him. Mowgli?! Mowgli?

Shere Khan, Team Rocket and The Crime Empire Arrives/Colonel Hathi's March (Reprise)

[Team Rocket trio, Jessie, James and Meowth and the Crime Empire are out to try to capture Ash's Pikachu]
Jessie: Those twerps sure know how to disappear in this dense jungle.
James: You'd think a yellow mouse would be easy to spot in all this green but it's not.
Megavolt: Well maybe they got eaten by something very scary here in the jungle.
Negaduck: There you go Megavolt, that's using the old brain!
Joker: I doubt that happened, this is Ashy we're talking about. He's tougher than the toughies and smarter than the smarties.
Penguin: Too true. We'll just have to keep looking and then we'll strike.
The Liquinator: And then it's payback time.
Meowth: Be quiet guys! Shere Khan's trying to hunt!
[Shere Khan comes close to a deer grazing, lies down ready to pounce, but then the sound of elephants trumpeting is heard and the deer runs away, revealing the herd to be Colonel Hathi]
Elephants march and sing: Hup, two, three, four Hup, two, three, four Keep it up, two, three, four.
Shere Khan: What beastly luck. Confound that ridiculous colonel Hathi.
Hathi: Company, sound off!
Elephants march and sing: Oh we march from here to there
Elephant #3: And it doesn't matter where
[The elephants are actually in different order now, elephant #3 is walking 5th #2 is #6, and Winifred who was #1 is now #7 - all backwards except that Hathi is still ahead of the herd and Hathi Jr. behind it as they continued their march they crushed and stomped their way through the thickest ahead]
Elephants: You can hear us push Through the deepest bush Hup, two, three, four
[Shere Khan walks through the jungle and sees the elephants from the cover of some bamboo]
Hathi: With a military air!
Elephants: With a military air. [they trumpet]
[Bagheera, Ash, Misty, Brock, Pikachu and Togepi were looking for Ash when Pikachu heard the elephants trumpeting]
Pikachu: Pikachu!
Ash Ketchum: Hey, guys, did you hear that?
Misty: That sounds like elephants.
Brock: Do you guys think that it could be?
Bagheera: The jungle patrol!
Misty: Hey maybe they can help us find Mowgli!
Togepi: Toge.
Ash Ketchum: Then what are we waiting for? Let's get to that Colonel Hathi and ask him for help!
[Knowing they had to be quick the six friends hopped from branch to branch to catch the marching pachyderms. Meanwhile the Jungle Patrol were marching through a river]
Elephants: We're a crackerjack bridage On a pachyderm parade But we'd rather stroll To a water hole
[Hathi Jr wrapped his trunk around the elephant in front of him and was towed along. When the herd reached the other side, he hit some rocks and bounced off them]
Hathi Jr: Hup, two, three, four
Elephants: For a furlough in the shade
[Bagheera and the others arrived on a branch]
Brock: Wait!
Misty: Elephants!
Ash Ketchum: We need your help!
Pikachu: Pikachu!
Bagheera: Stop!
[But the elephants didn't notice or hear them and continued marching]
Bagheera: (realizes something) Wait a minute!
Ash Ketchum: There's only one word they're going to hear to tell them to stop!
Ash and Bagheera: (Shouts) HALT!
[The elephants immediately stop, bumping and crashing into each other without resulting in a pile up. Colonel Hathi was cross]
Hathi: Who said "Halt"? I give the commands around here. [Bagheera and the others quickly made their way to the front of the herd] Now speak up, who was it?
[Bagheera, Ash, Misty, Brock, Pikachu and Togepi appear in the tree]
Ash Ketchum: We did!
Bagheera: Oh, it was me and Ash, colonel.
Hathi: (splutters) What do you mean sir and kid, taking over my command? Highly irregular you know.
Ash Ketchum: We're sorry we didn't mean to interrupt things.
Bagheera: Yes, we need your help.
Pikachu: (agreeing) Pikachu.
(Shere Kahn and the villains listen to Hathi's talk with Bagheera, Ash and his friends.)
Hathi: Impossible. We're on a cross-country march.
Misty: We can see that.
Ash Ketchum: But Colonel it's really important.
Bagheera: It's an emergency, colonel. The man-cub must be found.
Hathi: Man-cub? What man-cub?
Meowth: Did you hear what I hear?
Jessie: Sounds like the Twerps.
Negaduck: And it sounds like they're talking about the man-cub.
Shere Khan: How interesting...
Brock: You know who we mean Hathi.
Bagheera: The one I was taking to the man-village.
Ash Ketchum: You know Mowgli? The kid your son made friends with the other day.
Pikachu: Pika, Pika.
Hathi: Good. That's where he belongs. And now, sirs and ma'am, if you don't mind, we'd like to get on with the march.
Misty: Hold your marching Hathi, it's not like that.
Bagheera: No, no, you don't understand, Hathi. He's lost. He ran away.
Joker: Did you hear that?
Megavolt: Yeah, that kid ran away.
Shere Khan: How delightful.
Hathi: Well, serves the young wippersnapper right.
Brock: Hathi, this is serious! Mowgli's in big trouble out there alone in the jungle.
Misty: Yeah, he could get hurt or even worse.
Ash Ketchum: He could get attacked by some wild animal.
Bagheera: But-but Shere Khan, the tiger, he's sure to pick up the man-cub's trail.
[Shere Khan nods.]
Jessie: Oh Shere Khan can track him at the speed of light.
James: That man-cub will not be prepared to fight.
Meowth: That's right.
Hathi: Ha, ha. Shere Khan. Nonsense, old boy. Shere Khan isn't within miles of here.
[Shere Khan and the villains chuckle with amusment.]
Penguin: So, that peanut brain thinks you're miles from here eh? Well, he clearly doesn't know how close we are.
Hathi: Sorry, Bagheera and young ones. Fortunes of war and all that sort of thing you know.
[At last Winifred had finally had enough, she walked out of line up to the front to talk to her husband with Hathi Jr following her.]
Winifred: This has gone far enough! Far enough! Now, just a minute, you pompous, old windbag!
Colonel Hathi: Winnifred?! What are you doing out of ranks?
Winifred: Never mind! How would you like to have our boy lost and alone in the jungle?
Colonel Hathi: Our son? (sees Hathi Jr. at his mother's knees) All alone? But Winnifred ol' girl, that's an entirely different matter.
Winnifred: Hmph!
Colonel Hathi: Different entirely.
Winifred: That little boy is no different than our own son. Now, you help find him, or I'm taking over command!

(Ash and his friends snickered a bit. For they found that statement very funny and a really good comeback. But they stopped immediately as this was no time for a laughing matter.)

Colonel Hathi: WHAT?! A female leading my herd?! Utterly preposterous!
Hathi Jr.: Pop, the man-cub and I are friends. He'll get hurt if we don't find him. Please, Pop? Sir, please?
Ash Ketchum: See, Colonel? Even your wife and son are both concerned about the man-cub's well-being. In fact, Winnifred makes a really good point when she said he's no different than you or your herd. In fact, humans and elephants are not that different at all. Have you already forgotten that humans and elephants understood each other since the very beginning of time? Like the time I told you the heart-warming story of how we helped little Dumbo achieve his full potential when his magnificent ears made him fly and touch the skies?

(Hathi thought for a moment. He remembered hearing that wonderful story and realized that Ash is right. He knew if it hadn't been for him and his friends, Dumbo would've remained a laughingstock in the circus industry. He's come to see that there's no difference between humans and elephants after being reminded of that remarkable story of Dumbo.)

Hathi Jr.: Please, Pop? Ash and his team are worried about the man-cub, too. And they want you to help them. Please, Pop? Sir, please?
Colonel Hathi: Now, don't you worry, son. Your father had a plan in mind all the time.
Winifred: (sarcastically) Hmph. Sure, you did.
Colonel Hathi: (clears throat in frustration) Troopers! Company...left face! (the herd turned to their left and waited for further orders) Volunteers for a special mission will step one pace forward. (Turns around and closes his eyes.)
[All elephants do one step behind, except Elephant #3, who was chewing a leaf, but then notices it and step behind too]
Hathi: (Turns around and opens his eyes) Ha, ha. That's what I like to see. Devotion to duty. You volunteers will find the lost man-cub.
Brock: Now that's what I'm talking about.
Misty: I knew we'd get the jungle patrol to help us.
Bagheera: Oh, thank you colonel. Now there's no time to lose. [Bagheera leaves]
Ash Ketchum: We'll keep searching in the trees, and thank you Colonel! [Ash and his friends follow Bagheera]
Hathi: Yes, well. Good luck. (in whisper): When the man-cub is sighted you will sound your trumpet 3 times.
Elephant #2: Yes sir. [he trumpets and Hathi silences him]
Hathi: Shh. Not now soldier.
Elephant #2: (Muffles) Sorry, sir.
Hathi: (Talks to Elephant #7) Leutenant, our strategy shall be the element of surprise. (Whispers) You will take one squad and cover the right flank.
[Shere Khan and the Crime Empire lean forward to hear the whisper]
Elephant #7: Yes sir.
(Three of the elephants pick up their ears to hear their colonel's plan.)
Hathi (even quieter): And I shall take the other squad on the left flank. Very well.
Hathi: (Yells) COMPANY!!!!!!!!! [The elephants bump their heads together and drop their ears when Hathi yelled. While Shere Khan and the Crime Empire winced at the yelling.]
The Liquidnator: Is he trying to give us a headache?
Meowth: What? I can't hear you 'cause of the ringing in my ears!
Joker: Quiet! I've got a headache from that yelling pachyderm!
Bushroot: Everyone just shush up!
Hathi: Forward... March!
[Hathi and the jungle patrol march forward into the jungle knocking down trees and smashing through bushes as they went.]
Quackerjack: Oh so now they're just gonna trample everything in sight now huh?
Bushroot: Who cares? At least we know that the man-cub's all alone and vulnerable to an attack from us.
Shere Khan: Element of surprise? Oh, I say. (chuckling) And now for my rendezvous with the little lost man cub.
(Shere Khan and the villains continue their search for Mowgli, Ash and his friends as the camera fades to black.)

Mowgli and Kaa Encounter (Trust in Me)/Shere Khan, Kaa, Team Rocket and The Crime Empire's Conversation

[The scene fades to Mowgli walking aimlessly through the jungle then he stops to rest on the root of a tree as a tail picks Mowgli from the ground and raises him to the branches above where it's revealed that the tail belongs to none other than Kaa]

Mowgli: Kaa, it's you!

Kaa: Yesss, man-cub, so nice to see you again. [hissingly laughs]

Mowgli: Oh, go away. Leave me alone.

Kaa: Let me look at you. [Mowgli turns away from Kaa's eyes] You don't want me to look at you? Then you look at me.

Mowgli: No. sir. I know what you're trying to do, Kaa.

Kaa: You do? Uh, I mean, you don't trust me.

Mowgli: No!

Kaa: Then there's nothing I can do to help?

Mowgli: You want to help me?

Kaa: Ss-certainly. I can see to it that you never have to leave this jungle.

Mowgli: How could you do that?

Kaa: Hmm? Oh, I have my own ss-subtle little ways. [chuckles] But first, you must trust me.

Mowgli: I don't trust anyone anymore.

Kaa: I don't blame you. I'm not like those so-called fair-weather friends of yours. You can believe in me.

[Soon, the hypnotized Mowgli, is happily asleep all wrapped up in the serpent's warm and cozy bundle of coils]
[Down below, Shere Khan is hunting for Mowgli while our favorite bumbling villainous idiots, the Team Rocket trio and the Crime Empire set their sights for little Pikachu, when they here Kaa singing. Shere Khan, walks over to where he could see the end of a snake and tugs Kaa's tail as a doorbell which caused him to gasp in surprise before he can eat Mowgli.)
Kaa: (annoyed) Oh, now what? I'll be right down! (comes down) Yes, yes? Who is it?
Shere Khan: It's me, Shere Khan. I'd like a word with you if you don't mind. (Lies down)
Kaa: Shere Khan, what a surprise.
Shere Khan: Yes, isn't it? I just drop by. Now forgive me if I interrupted anything.
Kaa; Oh, no, nothing at all.
Shere Khan: I thought perhaps you entertaining someone up there in your coils.
Kaa: Coils? Someone or no. I was just curling up for my siesta.
Shere Khan: But, you were singing to someone. (grabs Kaa's neck) Who is it, Kaa?
Kaa; (gulps) Uh, no. (coughs) No, well, I was just singing to myself.
Shere Khan: Indeed.
Kaa: Yes, yes, you see, I have--(gulps) trouble with my sinuses.
Shere Khan What a pity.
Kaa: Oh, you have no idea. It's simply terrible. I can't eat, I can't sleep. So I sing myself to sleep.
Joker: And just how do you sing yourself to sleep?
Kaa: You know self-hypnosis.
Penguin: Oh, really?
Kaa: Oh yes. Let me show you how it works. [Kaa moves to Shere Khan's eyes] (sings) A trust in me.
[But Shere Khan drops his paw over Kaa's head, moving it to the ground]
Kaa: Mmm-fff!
Shere Khan: No, no, I can't be bothered with that. I have no time for that sort of nonsense.
The Liquinator: Yes as interesting as this self-hypnosis is, we don't have time to stick around and hear about it.
Kaa: (from under Shere Khan's paw) Some other time, perhaps?
Shere Khan: Perhaps. But at the moment I'm searching for a mancub.
Kaa: Mancub? What mancub?
Jessie: The little twerp who's lost.
Shere Khan: That's right, Jessie, (to Kaa) Now, where do you propose he could be?
Kaa: Search me? (covers his mouth in shock)
Joker: Search you, you say?
Two-Face: What a good idea.
Shere Khan: No, that's an excellent idea. I'm sure you wouldn't mind showing us your coils. Would you, Kaa?
Kaa: Certainly not. Nothing here and nothing in here.
(Mowgli snores in Kaa's coils.)
Bushroot: Hey, did you guys hear that?
Harley: Yeah, sounds like someone's snoring.
(Kaa pretends to snore.)
Kaa: Ooh, my sinuses.
MegaVolt: Hmm, yes your sinuses.
Shere Khan: Hmm, indeed. And now how about the middle?
Meowth: Yeah, can you show us the middle?
Villains: (smirking) Hmm?
Kaa: The middle? Oh, the middle.
[He puts down his middle, leaving Mowgli in much less coils. Shere Khan feels around the coils in the middle, which tickles Kaa]
Kaa: (laughing) Absolutely nothing in the middle!
Shere Khan: Hmmm. Really? Well, if you do just happen to see the man-cub, you will inform me first. [Scratches Kaa's chin with his claw.] Understand?
Kaa: (gulps) I get the point. [Crosses in a criss cross] Cross my heart, hope todie.
Shere Khan: Good show. And now I must continue my search for the helpless little lad. [Shere Khan leaves]
NegaDuck: Have fun with your self-hypnosis serpent. Crime Empire. Move out! [He and the Crime Empire leaves]
Kaa: Oh, who do they think they're fooling? "A helpless little lad." Ooh, they give me the shivers. (shivers which caused Mowgli to wake up) Picking on a poor little helpless boy. (sighs, then remembers) Oh, yes, poor little helpless boy.
(Mowgli kicks Kaa's coils which caused him to fall off the tree. Then Mowgli comes down to confront Kaa.)
Mowgli: You told me a lie, Kaa. You said I could trust you.
Kaa: It's like you said. You can't trust anyone!
(Kaa was about to strike Mowgli but just then he felt rough pinning on his tail it was a furious Ash.)
Ash Ketchum: Hey! Leave Mowgli alone or else!
Kaa: Or else what?
Ash Ketchum: Or I'll have my Pikachu shock you!
Pikachu: Pika!
Kaa: (mockingly) My, you're a feisty little boy.
Ash Ketchum: Oh, yeah?! Pikachu thunderbolt him!
(Pikachu shocks Kaa which caused him to scream in pain then Ash and Pikachu run off leaving Kaa dazed and he glares after Ash and Pikachu who are running after Mowgli.)
Kaa: (groans) That little boy and his little rodent are so annoying. Next time I'll have them in my coils. (about Mowgli) If I never see that skinny little shrimp again it would be too soon. (slithers away, moaning) My sacroilic.
(The camera fades to black.)

Mowgli's New Friends/That's What Friends Are For

[The scene fades to a group of vultures sitting on a dead tree]

Buzzie: [yawns] Hey, Flaps. What we gonna do?
Flaps: I dunno. Whatcha wanna do?
Ziggy: I've got it! Let's flap over to the east side of the jungle. They've always got a bit of action, a bit of a swingin' scene, all right!
Buzzie: Aw, come off it. Things are right dead all over.
Ziggy: You mean that you wish they were! [They all laugh, except for Dizzy)
Dizzy: Very funny.
Buzzie: OK. So, what we gonna do?
Flaps: I dunno. What'cha wanna do?
Buzzie: Look, Flaps. First I say, "What we gonna do?" Then you say, "I don't know. What'cha wanna do?" Then I say, "What we gonna do?" Then you say, "Whatcha wanna do?" "What we gonna do? What you want..." Let's do something!
Flaps: OK. Whatcha wanna do?
Buzzie: [sighs] Oh, blimey. There you go again, the same notes again!
Dizzy: [snaps his fingers] I've got it! This time, I've really got it!
Buzzie: So, you got it. So, what we gonna do?
Ziggy: Hold it
Flaps: What in the world is that?
(The vultures see a depressed Mowgli arrive in the wasteland.)
Ziggy: What a crazy looking bunch of bones.
Dizzy: Yeah, and they're all walking about by themselves.
(The vultures laugh as Mowgli sits on the rock.)
Buzzie: So what we gonna do?
Flaps: I don't know. Hey, now, don't start that again.
Ziggy: Come on, lads. Come on. Let's have some fun with this little fella, this little bloke, eh?
(The vultures fly off the tree then they walk up to Mowgli.)
Flaps: Blimey! (holds up Mowgli's leg) He's got legs like a stork, he has.
Buzzie: Like a stork. (chuckles) But he ain't got no feathers, he ain't.
(The vultures laugh at Mowgli and he's on the verge of tears.)
Mowgli: (hurt) Go ahead. Laugh. I don't care.
(Mowgli gets off the rock and walks away from them and vultures instantly feel bad for teasing Mowgli.)
Dizzy: What's wrong with him?
Flaps: I think we overdid it.
Dizzy: We were just having a bit of fun, that's all.
Buzzie: (remorseful) Oh, just look at him. Why, the poor little fella. You know he must be down on his luck.
Dizzy: Yeah, or he wouldn't be in our neighborhood. (Buzzie shakes his head in agreement and he runs up to Mowgli)
Buzzie: Hey, new kid! Wait a minute! Hey!
Mowgli: Just leave me alone.
Buzzie: Oh, come on. What's wrong? You know, you look like you haven't got a friend in the world.
Mowgli: I haven't. (Dizzy, Flaps and Ziggy catch up)
Dizzy: Haven't you got a mother or a father?
Mowgli: No. Nobody wants me around.
Buzzie: (sympathetic) Yeah. We know how you feel.
Dizzy: Nobody wants us around either.
Buzzie: Oh, we may look a bit shabby, but we've got hearts.
Dizzy: And feelings, too.
Buzzie; (putting his wing around Mowgli) And, just to prove it you, we're going to let you join our little group.
Flaps: Kid, we'd like to make you an honorary vulture.
Mowgli: Thanks, but I... I'd rather be on my own alone. (walking away)
Buzzie: Oh, now, look kid. Everybody's got to have friends. (to Flaps, Dizzy and Ziggy) Hey, fellas, are we his friends?
Flaps,Dizzy,Ziggy sing: We're your friends We're your friends We're your friends to the bitter end
Buzzie: The bitter end
Flaps: When you're alone
Buzzie, Dizzy, Ziggy: When you're alone
Flaps: Who comes around?
Buzzie, Dizzy, Ziggy: Who comes around?

Buzzie: give us a smile
Flaps: When you are down
Buzzie, Ziggy, Dizzy: When you are down
Flaps: And when you're
Flaps, Ziggy, Dizzy: outside looking in who's there To open the door?

Flaps, Ziggy, Dizzy: That's what friends are for. Who's always eager to extend [Mowgli smiles] A friendly claw? Ziggy, Dizzy, Flaps: we're friends
Buzzie: We're friends in need
Ziggy, Dizzy, Flaps: friends in need
Buzzie: And friends indeed Friends indeed [various a-capella]
Buzzie: Take it easy lads, steady, steady.
Ziggy, Dizzy, Flaps: You're staying in the jungle...
Buzzie: W-w-watch it!
Vultures: Forevermore
Buzzie: b-bore..

Shere Khan: Bravo, bravo.
Jessie: Today is the day we finally capture Pikachu!
Ash Ketchum: You never will!
Pikachu: Pika!
Shere Khan: Well, who do we have here?
Jessie: It's the twerp.

Ash Ketchum: Get out of there, Mowgli!
Shere Khan: (annoyed) Let go, you big oaf!
[Negaduck pulls out his big chainsaw and swings it around]

-(Pikachu shocks Shere Khan with his thunderbolt, which causes him to yowl in pain. It amazed Mowgli)
Mowgli: (amazed) Wow!
Shere Khan: (snarls in anger) You will pay dearly for shocking me, Ash Ketchum!

(Mowgli and Ash look at Baloo lying unconscious on the ground.)

Ash Ketchum: Baloo, can you hear me? Come on, Baloo please get up.
Mowgli: (tearfully) I'm so sorry, Ash.
Ash Ketchum: I'm sorry, too Mowgli. I should've lost my temper.

(Mowgli and Ash hug each other. Pikachu tries to revive Baloo with his thunderbolt but to no avail. Just then a worried Bagheera arrives.)

Ash Ketchum: Pikachu, it's not working.
Bagheera: Mowgli, Ash, try to understand boys.
Mowgli: Bagheera, what's the matter with him.
Bagheera: You and Ash got to be brave like Baloo was.
Mowgli: You...you don't mean...Oh, no. Baloo.

(Misty, Brock and the vultures look on sadly as Bagheera comforts Mowgli and Ash.)

Bagheera: Now, now. I know how you both feel. But you must remember, boys.
Ash Ketchum: Hmm?
Bagheera: "Greater love hath no one 'than he who lays down his life for his friend." (Baloo starts to wake up) When great deeds are remembered in this jungle, one name will stand above all others. Our friend, Baloo the bear.
Baloo: (sniffling) He's crackin' me up.
Bagheera: The memory of Baloo's sacrifice and bravery will forever be engraved on our saddened hearts.
Baloo:(smiling) Beauitful.
Bagheera: This spot here Baloo fell will always be a hallowed place in the jungle, for there lies one of nature's noblest creatures.
Baloo: (sniffling) I wish my mother could've heard this.
Bagheera: It's best we leave now. Come along, kids.
Baloo: (sitting up) Hey, don't stop now, Baggy. You're doin' great! There's more. Lots more!
Pikachu: Pika?
Ash Ketchum: (surprised) Baloo, you're alive?
Bagheera: (shocked and angry) Why, you big fraud! (stammering) You four-flusher! I'm fed up!
Mowgli: (happily, hugging Baloo) Baloo, you're all right.
Ash Ketchum: We thought you were a goner.
Baloo: (chuckles) Who, me? Sure I am. Never felt...better.

(The vultures laugh and so did Mowgli, Ash, Brock and Misty.)

Brock: You sure had us all worried.
Misty: Yeah, we're just glad that you're okay.
Baloo: Aw, I was just takin' five. (Bagheera felt annoyed) You know, playin' it cool. (chuckling, lifting Mowgli onto his shoulders) But he was too easy.
Mowgli: Good old Papa Bear.
Dizzy: It's going to be a bit dull without the Little Bloke, isn't it?
Buzzie: Yeah. So what we gonna do?
Flaps: I don't know...Hey, now don't start that again!

Mowgli Meets Shanti (My Own Home)

(The changes where Baloo carries Mowgli on his shoulders while Bagheera among with Ash, Pikachu, Brock and Misty walk along.)
Baloo: Hey, Baggy. Too bad you missed the action. You should've seen how I made a sucker out of Old Stripes with that left up on his face, Boom, boom, I was giving him a wham! (to Mowgli) You wanna know something? We're good sparring partners.
Mowgli: You'd better believe it.
Baloo: Yes, sir. Nothing or nobody is ever gonna come between us again.
(Baloo and Mowgli hug each other, just then singing was heard it was a human girl named Shanti.)
Shanti: (singing) My own home, my own home.
Ash Ketchum: Did you guys hear that?
Pikachu: (nodding) Pika.
Misty: Yeah, I hear singing too.
Mowgli: Look, what's that?
Bagheera: Oh, it's the man-village.
Mowgli: No, no, I mean that.
Brock: You mean that girl singing?
Mowgli: Yeah.
Baloo: Forget about those they ain't nothing but trouble.
Mowgli: Just a minute. I've never seen one before.
Baloo: So, you've seen one. So, let's go.
Mowgli: I'll be right back. I want a better look.
Baloo: Mowgli, wait a minute.
Bagheera: Baloo, let him have a look.

Misty: This is Mowgli's new home.
Bagheera: Yes, Misty. Mowgli is where he belongs now.
Ash Ketchum: Don't worry, Baloo. Mowgli will have a great life living in the village.
Baloo: Yeah, I guess you're right, Ash. But I still think he'd made one swell bear. Well, come on, Baggy, buddy. Let's get back to where we belong. (to Ash) And, Ash?
Ash Ketchum: Yes, Baloo?
Baloo: What do you say Baggy and I walk you kids to Indore, huh?
Misty: The big city of Indore? (happily) We'd love that!
Brock: Great, thanks so much!
PIkachu: Pika!
Togepi: Togi!
Ash Ketchum: Okay, Baloo. Lead the way!
Baloo: Alrighty, Ash! Let's get with the beat (singing) Look for the bare necessities (brings Bagheera) The simple bare necessities.
Bagheera: (singing) Forget about your worries and your strife.
Everyone: (singing together) I mean the bare necessities Are Mother Natures recipes That bring the bare necessities of life.

(The camera pans up to the dusk sky.)
